App works and it’s stable. First of all I had have NO problems signing into the app with my login, second the app works really good and had no problems navigating everything WORKS fine. I wish I could give this app a 10 star rating.

Worthless. Doesn’t sync with the other HP apps. Why they would separate the service end of their device management app to a different app is beyond me. Disjointed. Also just doesn’t work

Can’t even enter serial number. It can find it on HP website but not on app and the message is off the screen on IOS. Completely useless.

Couldn’t connect to my phone or laptop. I tried with this app for help. I got disconnected 3times. I’m packing up the printer and sending it back.

Garbage. Even the signup process doesn’t work!!!

Fancy But Doesn't Work. The app opens with a sign in button and pictures scrolling right to left but nothing works. I tapped the sign in button; nothing opens. I tapped the scrolling pictures; still nothing. If the app is supposed to work right away, it didn't. To date I have never had to restart my iPhone for an app to work.

Long registration process for zero help. Don’t bother installing this app. It takes a long time to register, which is mandatory, and o can guarantee it does not have the help you’re looking for, because it basically has nothing.

Extra Trash. Wish I could put no stars. Opens to a page that doesn’t move and the only thing that you can do is select the button that says App Store, which brings you right to where you started.

1 star cause I can’t give them 0 stars. Download this if you wanna talk to a robot.

Local network hacked. Do not download or buy hp products major security weakness and entry points using local network devices and bonjour handshakes

Trash was too kind….. My HP experience today (May 10,2023)… …was worse than his. Surprisingly for me (I have spent thousands of bucks over the last 20 years) they were until a couple of years ago flawless ! They (and their service department) are terrible in 2023…and I am being as kind as I can. My last HP printer has been bought.

Terrible printers. Brand new printer needs to sit saying validating please wait for several hours and of course this company is absolutely no help at all on how to fix it.

You have to create an account…. To use the app. All I need is quick help with a printer problem. Asinine waste of time.

No live support , trying for two days. This Company has no idea how difficult for seniors like me , I have subscription for Ink but I can not use my printer , it does not take my password even I changed to a new password but in vain , try to call after getting the phone numbers from Google Search but those numbers do not work , tried tech support number it connected me to some live medic then again no vain , what kind of Company is this when you need help nobody is there to help . I even reply to their email to me but it did not go thru, sooner or later when I will be able to talk to somebody I will cancel my subscription and get rid off this printer and buy from different company . Enear62. What A useless app ! Virtual spent time describing my issue just to get asked the same things over and over none which addressed my issue. So how do you troubleshoot? If I can’t get support for this product it will have to go back to place of purchase so I can exchange for another brand.

Dated. The app was unable to accurately check ink level and pages printed (only through 2021).

Outdated HP INK CARTRIDGES. Printer states HP Ink Cartridges I purchased are outdated and will not work in my OFFICEJET 6975 Printer. ?Planned Obsolescence? Not happy. Trying to force me to buy through their supply program? Printers are cheap. May shop for different brand. Any suggestions?

Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. Other than take my money, this company has done nothing for me, and is a royal waste of time. I have a business to run, I don’t have time to monkey around with endless log ins and all these confusing accounts. Absolute disgrace of a company.

Only acts as data harvester for HP tracking.. App doesn’t actually do anything. Any link or button just opens up HP webpage. The assistant button doesn’t work or their servers are down. It only serves to feed HP your data - device, location, etc.

Don’t use. Can’t download printer info. Not worth the hassle

Trash. Nothing is easy or streamlined with any company and this tech behemoth company is no different. Nearly impossible to quickly speak with a live person, or not re enter your annoying account or serial or miscellaneous hurdle for user. Enraging. Yet you can mistakenly sign up for an overpriced subscription with the passing of humming bird breaking wind. I never did a live person on the horn. I promptly liquidated my decade plus holding of HPQ holdings and TREATED myself to more APPL, then came here to run my mouth.

HP Shame on you. Downloaded this app per HP website to resolve a cartridge issue. No way to resolve using the app other than chat with rep, but connecting to one does not work. When HP printers work, they are the best, when they don’t - it’s a throw away buy another.

Moved and changed WiFi. My HP Envy Pro 6475 was working fine and I loved it. I moved into a new apartment complex and my WiFi ad password has changed. Can not get this printer on the new WiFi. I have read the instructions and have been trying for 4 days and NADA. Not happening. I guess I’m going to have to bite the bullet and buy another brand printer. It won’t be an HP. What a waste.

Súper slow. If you take your product into HP headquarter in person would be faster

No help at all They charge on instaink excuse my speech had a stroke, but anyhow you have to download all these apps for them to take you to a different page and before you know it you have like six or seven pages open maybe more they help they charge you and I have been charged for even the paper that they will not send me. I’ve called the Better Business Bureau on them. I thought that my printer was broken so I went and bought a new one and for two years with the old one. I never got to print for three years now with my new one. I have still not been able to print these people will drive you insane it’s a big money scam.

Can’t even download the app without a purchase?. This is the 2nd time I’ve bought an Hp printer, but I won’t do it a 3rd time. The first printer I just thought it was broken, it wasn’t really the style I wanted anyway so gave it to a family member. This is the 2nd hp and just like the first, I can’t even successfully download the freaking app. It has taken almost a month and counting! Still no connection. They have the nerve to say too long without a connection will stop it from working period. So I should pack it up and return it right?? I was trying not to get so into apple products, but at least they cater to humans. Not sure what this hp crap is doing!!! I’m extremely livid! My work is piling up on me!

Can’t get ANY help!. Just more run around again. Spent 4 days on this and all I need is to get it back inline. I created two different accounts for which I cannot give the correct password. On another occasion, I got to talk to a real person and we were cut off…he did NOT call me back! One thing I learned…I am not so stupid as to ever buy ho again!

Why can’t I just call. I hate this, a simple customer service number is 1000x better. Plus it provides work for those of people. I wont buy another hp product

Vyper. 123HP and HP assistant needs to follow a simple Military phrase which is “Keep it simple stupid”. I’m trying to get my iPhone to print from any where and HP tells me I can do this but HP doesn’t explain in “simple stupid” language how to get it done. Frustrating to say the least! HELP!!!

Virtual agent isnt very helpful. This app is good but i need help because my computer wont turn and i dont know the password, is there a way you can help?

Why bother. Total and complete waste of time and effort. I hit the HP website to find out how to connect my existing printer to my new router. Should be easy enough. Found their pitch that told me how easy it would be if I only downloaded their useless app. (They didn’t say it was useless… that’s my word). Anyway, after going through their registration process and finally getting back to my longer-than-necessary project. Problem is that even after all that effort, their waste of electrons couldn’t even identify my relatively new printer. So I scrapped their ineffective solution and connected the old fashioned way. Hey HP, thanks for nothing.

Disappointing. New printer arrived. We downloaded app, followed instructions and printer still would not work. Tried to go to help and support which wasn’t helpful at all. Very frustrating and disappointing!!!

HP 4100 series. This printer is awful. Changing the ink cartridges is extremely difficult. Access the cartridges is extremely difficult. Only bought it because I have limited space. Every time I try to change the cartridges makes my Blood Pressure go up! This printer should be DISCONTINUED

I liked this originally!. However!, it is ridiculous that I’m forced to participate in these ink and paper subscriptions ONLY FROM THE HP INK AND PAPER SUBSCRIPTIONS NO MATTER WHETHER I EVEN USE MY PRINTER FOR MONTHS, ITS NOT LIKE THEY CHARGE FOR WHAT YOU DO USE AND KEEP TRACK FOR ROLLOVERS AND THEN TO ULTIMATELY CHARGE FOR WHAT YOU USE! This is ridiculous and I am not technologically challenged yet I have been having the most horrific experiences for the past 2 months because I moved the printer! I had JUST put in new ink cartridges (all HP!) and yet it said they’d need to be fixed to HP ones. What!? They ARE my HP subscription payed ink cartridges!!! Then the little annoying monitor thing is difficult and bizarre and has been the dumbest setup I’ve ever used! It wouldn’t sign me back in just bc of all these issues after moving it (just down the hall) and wouldn’t hook back up to my WiFi nor let me sign in or anything!!! It also separates you from the app or whatever you are using to annoyingly other dumb websites that don’t help either!!! So annoyed!! GET IT TOGETHER HP AND PRINTERS AND INK AND PAPER AND SUBSCRIPTIONS AND ALL THE ISSUES THAT YOU PROBABLY ANNOY AND FONT READ IF ITS A NEGATIVE REVIEW!!!

No way to link my HP account.. I created my HP account using google, but the app has no way for me to login via google.

Absolute garbage. This app did absolutely nothing to help. Printer is constantly offline and will not connect. I am done fighting this and will never own a HP product again. Like others noted if you enjoy watching a circle go round and round download this.

I just wanted to print. We’re returning the printer. Nothing about the setup was easy, three hours later and we’ve decided to pack it up and take it back. What an awful experience.

Flawless design, but needs some fixes. I love HP and have been using their products for years. The new app is very great as I can check on my HP products on the go. It does need some bug fixes such as but not limited to “Product Information”. I’m not sure if it’s the device I’m using the app on (iPod touch 7th generation) but whenever I click on it, it doesn’t load at all. Nevertheless, the app is very great and I hope to see more improvement as its development goes on.

Unresponsive to actually speak to customers!. Had the first year ink covered with my purchase, have been a low user, so didn’t receive new cartridges for several months. When printer started fading, (color ink went first) now can get only pale black ink, been like this for a few months, have requested several times and get no response from virtual response team. I kept trying to get ink sent, jumped through hoops “cleaning” and still get no ink sent. Obviously they do not monitor my machine to see if it is working or they would have sent ink .

Doesn’t work. The app will not allow me to add my hp printer. I added the serial number in but it won’t take the product number. Every time I add Officerjet pro it says it’s an invalid name

System administrator loss. My keep asking me to call a system administrator for help with my password issues it’s been months now i can’t contact them

Doesn’t really DO anything. I like the idea of having an app where I can have all of my devices details. Some have specs shown, some don’t. I can get support from my account via the website. So, otherwise, it doesn’t really DO anything. Why do I need this app?

WARNING! This app is a SCAM!. I downloaded this mistakenly thinking it was an official HP support app. They clearly want you to think that— it is designed to look so and nowhere does it state that they are not actually affiliated with HP. I sought their info about warranties, and was advised to message them. That automatically took me to FB messenger, where they “assisted” me and said they had arranged everything, but all they needed was my credit card info to hold as collateral in case I didn’t return my old printer. This obviously seemed suspicious, and I realized that they weren’t from HP at all. They are trying to steal your credit card information.

Useless. I need help connecting my printer to wifi, this does not help with that. It takes me to the Smart app which also does not help. After countless router and printer restarts I still can’t connect to wifi. I won’t be purchasing any more HP products.

Useless - Doesn’t recognise device serial number, so can’t get help!. The Feedback option in the app DOESN’T WORK! Neither the app nor the website recognise my printer’s serial number, even though I registered my printer on the HP website, and there seems to be no way to get help with this! How do I get support for my devices now? I can’t even get community support as long as my device serial number isn’t recognised.

No costumer support !. Virtual assistance is non helpful ! But you can pay 15 dollars a month for actual costumer assistance. Also my printer requires apple 10.4 and it only goes to 10.36 so now I have pointless printer that can’t connect with Wi-Fi or a USB cable Never using HP for anything AGain

Circles and no answers. This has two basic options for support - troubleshoot a queued page that won’t print or clear and talk to a virtual agent. The virtual agent needs a lot of work. Keywords bring up irrelevant and overly broad topics. It channels you to purchase products. Unfortunately if one has purchased products and the problem persists then the only solution is to talk with snarky support. When they don’t provide a solution and one asks for support to either change the way they speak to you so the conversation can be productive or put someone on the line who will be helpful they angrily transfer one but for a charge of $19.99. I am in the market for a laptop. Guess which brand I will not be purchasing.
