Facebook for truckers!. Great app to connect with other truckers.

Turned To Crap. This was a great app to start with but after last upgrade I have been absolutely harassed by Catfish and scammers!

Great App!!!. The app does have some quirks that will get on and out as it goes. It is a great place for driver community and camaraderie! The navigation and the job board are amazing also! I give it five stars because it’s been good for me!

Good app. I believe the app is pretty good, with important info of latest news and trucking jobs, possibly one of the best, I just hope they keep getting better. Thanks

Not good. Use to be on this app some. Was good to use but when I went to log in one day, it stated that I was banned. Sent email after email to find out why I was banned. Still no real reason why I was banned. The only thing I have received in a response was needed to send a copy of my drivers license front and back. Sorry but I am not sending a copy of my drivers license. I have had my cdl for close to 30 years and posted several pictures with me and the truck I drive.

No way🤮. I used to only use the GPS portion of this app and it started out fine but then I began to notice that the directions would take me through No Truck zones. I have updated several times but the problem is still happening. Then, I began to read posts from the feed and then come to realize that many, and I do mean many, of the posts are heavy in racial bias if not downright racist, including those coming from the so-called moderator. Now, all is fair if both sides are able to express how they feel but any opposition to what’s posted seems to just disappear. I warn, those of you who is sick and tired of bigotry and racial divide, to stay far away from this app. It’s funny that they have a GPS application because I could’ve sworn that GPS wasn’t around during the Civil War, which is where most of the comments seem to stem from. If I could give this app negative stars, I would.

Fun App. It’s a great tool for OTR family to feel engaged and close.

Privacy and security?. Just deleted app. Asking for photos of my license and a selfie? Sorry folks, sounds like a phishing scam. Change my mind! (Never had an app ask for anything other than a text or email verification)

Great App. First, only gave 4 stars because there are a few minor quirks.... Now, I haven’t used the routing portion, but have used the truck stop finder a few times and it works pretty good. My only complaint is I wish the truck stops would be grouped together, the shops, the stores, etc on the tab to select what icons appear on map. The “social media” aspect is great. We are truck drivers and like to speak our voice... we do not like to be told what we can/can not say/post... it is the internet, so there are trolls, but, CDLLife does actively monitor and remove them... it also has the means to private message another user, which at the same time, has the ability to block users.... It has a job posting section... but I haven’t checked it out yet... All in all, a great app!! And by far better than the competitor (I won’t name) 🍻Terrell🍻

jobut. everything is good on this cdllife app. although the map is outstanding and updated with the exception of you can’t see the 3 circles on the right that controls the volume, direction and zoom when it’s white back ground. you can only see it in night time mode. also if y’all can allow us to switch night time mode manually verse it doing it automatic that would be great 👍. also can y’all add a speed indicator like how google or waze that would be great also 👍

They need to verify accounts.. I really like the app. Reason why I only gave it a 2 is because they don’t verify users. We have it bad enough out here and now CDL Life is getting flooded with catfish. They seriously need to start verifying accounts with the drivers CDL and company they drive for or something along those lines. It’s bad enough on Facebook and Instagram but now this?? Can truckers have just one place to go without the BS?!?!?!?! I hope they do something about it. A lot of drivers are getting tired of it and a lot of talk has been made about deleting accounts. So if it wasn’t for the catfish I would give it 5 stars. Navigation is ok. It lags sometimes and even when you show up to your destination it doesn’t always recognize it.

Not run well. The app is a great idea .. however .. the app moderators don’t know what they are doing .. anybody at anytime can be shutdown(cyber jail) for absolutely No Reason at all. Very discouraging to set up your profile page .. collect a bunch of badges and then.. to be shut down . Of course then you have to start all over and make a new page. Now I’m running 2 pages and I am totally discouraged from even using this app.

Great App.... Only been using for a month.. Seems like a great app. Used the trip planner/gps took me rite to where i needed to be with no problem..So far so good,Thanks to who ever designed it..

View likes. CDL life is the update where were able to see all the lakes that people leave so we’re able to check out their profiles like on Facebook other than that it’s a good app so far

Racist. I was so excited for this next chapter getting my CDL. After opening the app I could not believe all the open racism! Picture of black people with comment, after comments! It like a bunch of white terrorist bragging how the hate black people! But they are not racist! Mad about Juneteenth! I would give this app a - stars if I could! Because clearly the makers are on board with the racism! I say American watch out for racist truckers! This app supports them!

I can’t post. When I tray post , the app ask me for my CDL

Love to give it a 5 star, BUT.... I was new to this app recently when my email or Facebook account got hacked, and CDL banned me for life! 😱 Since then, I have sent them multiple emails trying to explain this to them, to which they have not replied. Since they don’t respond I have no clue as to what my hacked account did to get banned in the first place! If they simply told me what my account did wrong then maybe I could figure out what happened, but they won’t even respond, so what do I do now?? 💁‍♀️ It’s a shame, because I was really enjoying the app so far, and wanted to truly remain a part of it. As a female trucker, I thought I could bring some interesting insight and perspective at least, but they need to give a person the benefit of the doubt long enough to hear their side of things, right?💋🧐. PJR~

Too much political and religious propaganda. This app would be much better if it were actually about trucking but the majority of post on here are either political or religious two things you should never talk about with others because it leaves to many arguments. I understand freedom of speech but there is a lot of hate speech on here and a lot of racist post that they don’t address. Wish they had a app that was only trucking that’s all

Good Trucking Community. The app is easy to use and as safe as any social media site can be. Verification of ID not CDL allows people interested in learning about trucking to ask questions from experienced drivers. Most members are professional and polite and friendly. There will be some people who disagree with opinions, it's not a censored site but most people act like adults. It does get graphic and political and npc at times with a teneral leaning on conservstive views but no one is banned for their views. The driver tool features of the app are worth downloading even if you prefer not to be socially interactive. Their are options to censor your own feed and block the other members who annoy you. One feature that would be a nice improvement is the ability to start groups and have private status on your profile so only visible to friends and groups without restriction to rest of site. Careful if you are an internet junkey this one can be addictive.

Getting there,,,. So over the years CDLLIFE has made some big improvements, One for instance is verification for new users, which just make sense,, you would think it would weed out most , catfish phonies and wannabes. But some how they get verified. Also I believe enforcement could be stepped up,, what I mean is , I care about this app and have for years, but I’m not on as much as I use to be for the simple fact, it’s like a piece of crap FB page some times . And yea I try too help and report,racism (and there’s no excuse for it being on here) just the simple fact if those that use the N word should be banned,,,fake news, and catfish ETC. There no change unless we make change. It would also be nice if there was some kind of common courtesy from CDLLIFE even if they don’t agree with suggestions,especially when correspondence and emails are sent, with no response whatsoever.

Don’t download. I’m letting people know that if you have a cdl that you value don’t download this app. They want a picture of your drivers license so you can comment. They say it’s secure and that it temporarily captures a picture. Everything can be hacked and to help criminals out if they hack CDLLife you livelihood could be at risk. They can’t guarantee that this won’t happen. You have to much invested in your CDL.

Racist App. there really should be a team handling hate speech, negativity, and threats on this app. It can get very racist on here. From communists flags to pointing out the “industry is changing” based on races now driving.

If you have a CDL and don’t have this app your crazy!. This app is wonderful. Period. Great community!

CDLLife asking for to much. I seen this app advertised on Facebook, decided to down load and signup for an account well after entering all my information. I created a new password it takes me back to same box to enter the password so what I’m thinking is that they want me to use my same password that I used for my email and I’m not about do that.

I “NEVER” give 5 stars. In my opinion giving a 5 star rating means something is perfect and no matter what some people think no one and nothing is perfect, there’s always room for improvement. I haven’t on the App in a while so I thought I’d see how it’s working and they’ve done some improvements and the App seems alright so I decided on 4 stars. I’ll try to get on more but I won’t change my rating to a 5 ever and I won’t have to lower my rating. Be safe out there, I miss it because I had to retire early because of some health problems.

The best for truckers.. Anyone that travels must pay attention to everything. God is with us all.

Was great not so much now.. Was a great app. A Awsome idea. Bring truckers together. Now just a ton of advertisement. Which is fine if the ads where beneficial to drivers.

Not quite worthy of 5stars. First the notification “bell” dims all notifications when only one is opened. Otherwise some really fine people chime in daily, some serious some funny, if you have a CDL and you’re not here, you are missing out on a good laugh or a good comment or even a picture

Roadside service!!!. The newest update has a function for roadside service.... this came in very handy while broke down. You can call directly from the app for help. Awesome!!

Infringe in my belief. In my life, and it’s hard being myself. And when others ask for a picture of myself. I shut down. I am Native American. Nothing special, however it’s hard to just watch and read about others without conversation. I wish you will understand that I can not post a picture of myself (verify my account). I feel your infringing in my belief(religion).

I can’t log into the account I shave already.. I had to start a different account because I can’t get into the account I already have.

Great app keep you up date. What I don’t like about is women that are not driver, is posting pictures of them self. My point of view is they are trying to pick up men on this page which to me it’s inappropriate. As women driver it’s degrading to us..because as is already is men think us women driver shouldn’t be driving a truck and when you have some women post a selfish of her self in a sexual way.. it just not right because men will see us that way.. we driving the same reasons is doing it . To have a better life for out family

CDL Life. I was an active member until you are required to send in a copy of your DL in order to post or comment. I’m not sending my personal information to a social media company.

Allowing far to much. CDLIFE is a entertaining app for sure, however it is allowing far to much false information to be posted unchecked. Having fun and joking is good BUT, you see far to much posted trying to belittle 3/4 of the American population who took the covid Vax, there are multiple post 24/7 belittling others for there choices and this is just one of the subjects that this type of slandering is occurring. This needs to be addressed and swiftly before it leads to serious problems!!!

Rodney. Love this need to verify my account for some reason I can’t because I have 2 phone.

Catfish. Way to many lot lizards! They kick real truck drivers off and let the prostitution and scammers take over. I been getting 15 to 20 requests a day. It’s out of control. Not sure what there doing it used to be a great app.

Verification. Won’t answer my emails and I will not give sensitive drivers license information just to be able to post things

Great tool. Great app for trucking news and concerns. I like that it allows a mix of experienced and not so experienced drivers to engage in good conversation. A great tool for any driver. Truck routing is another great tool of this app. The only thing is the cat fishing but I suppose that’s on any social media app. The administrators are great and do converse with us which helps to keep the app updated and fix any bugs. I’ve tried others and this is the best by far....

Ol’ Stick Hauler. Would really like to be able to post without my CDL. There’s way too much information to give out. And I believe you’re losing a lot of interaction for having this policy! Thanks

Posts automatically removed as soon as posted. I’ve tried making several posts asking for advice as I am a relatively new CDL holder and would like to learn from the old schoolers. They have the wisdom and I know that I don’t know jack squat. Each and every post I make gets removed immediately. I’ve emailed through the contact us portion multiple times trying to find out why my posts are being removed immediately with no response. Also, the navigation feature is absolutely worthless.

Catfish Heaven. While in principal, this app sounds great, however it leave a lot to be desired. The daily amount of Friend Requests are simply ridiculous solely based on the fact that there are hundreds of not thousands of catfish accounts here. If they could just rid them all or make it more difficult for them fake accounts to sign up to begin with, it would help. The normal real drivers are funny and quite knowledgeable. Even for us veterans, it’s nice to see and hear different perspectives or share advice etc.

Verify my account. I had CDL live for a while I deleted it opened up a new profile a while back and I can’t get it to be verified so I can add some of my friends back I would appreciate it if y’all could help me get this fixed thank you

Good app but..... I like this app. Great for meeting fellow truckers but can you please change the delete option for the notifications to a swipe left type thing. Sometimes takes you an hour to delete the notifications because you have to hit the area where the 3 dots are right on the money and for people with bigger fingers it’s a pain as you try to keep hitting it right and it goes back to the post!!!

Great if you like scammers & racists. It’s loads of fun if you like getting friend requests from numerous scammers every day. The amount of racism I saw in a few days turned my stomach.The only good thing about this media app I saw was a lack of censorship compared to other media sites.

Catfish central. If I had the time I could post all 60+ of the fake accounts waiting for me to accept their friend request. But unless Niger, Africa has become the home to beautiful women in trucking then something is off. Verify users !!!!!!!

Can’t install. The app will not install on my phone because it will not allow me to update to my current email address. I’d like to try this app but I can’t figure out how to get it to install due to an old email in the system.

Unfortunately about my app. I cannot get it to open. Haven’t been able to open it for over 5 months. I enjoy the updates bc I’m not over the road anymore. But now it’s not working

Another Facebook. Used to be a decent app for truckers. Now it’s a bunch of catfish and men going insane because of these skanky women posting pictures of their cleavage and thighs. This used to be a very useful app but now turned into a hookup app. Needs more moderating..

Add steep grades. If you guys could add a steep grade warnings that would be cool. That would be great with planning a trip.

Best trucker support hands down.. This app actually has moderators actively engaged with the users and it's full of truckers for entertainment, family, and advice.

Freezes up. The updated version is ok but it still freezes up and it posts a comment twice also try and search for an article you won’t be able to find it

Woke culture here. I’ve been permanently suspended from this app and they will not say why... I post almost nothing and certainly not anything controversial. I’ve appealed the suspension but they ignored it. I’d think twice before using these folks services. You could be next.

Need to Scan Drivers license. You need to scan front and back of drivers license to post. Pro Tip - if you scan your license, you may be a moron.

Garbage. This app is managed by the owners of Riverside Transport Inc and the app is just absolutely putrid with racists and hard right wingers. If you join expect to be inundated with spam and false profiles “catfish”. The “moderators” are also highly political and the app works hard to delete and suppress anything BUT right wingers posts, comments and the like. As a result it’s a cess pool of truckers The GPS functions are absolutely worthless, the posts useless and political Avoid at all costs

As of this morning it’s not working.. Trying to open the app and it closes as fast as it tries to open. Have rebooted my iPad and still not working.

Verify!. CDLLIFE is wanting a pic of your license for verification to stop the fake accounts. I get this but my license has my social on it and I don’t want to put my identity at risk with this app’s security. So I deleted this app and moving on.

Nope. The very first time I tried using the map feature for a truck it routed me through a town where no trucks haven’t been allowed for years. Be weary if using for turn by turn directions
