The BEST hue app. This is by far the best Hue light app. Tons of features for free. I never buy what I can get for free, but bought pro because of how great this app is.

Sounds. Cool app, but could someone tell me how to turn off the sounds for the pre-made themes. So so annoying.

Terrible App. This app is a piece of garbage. All the effects are like a strobe light. Nothing is chill. They all flicker your lights like a rock show at full energy. Id give this -5 stars if i could

Just Ok. Tried it out. One big problem for an app that claims to do everything for hue. It has no way to find your previously created scenes. Ok no problem I’ll just recreate them in this app. Oh wait where is it, can’t find it, it seems this app cannot create scenes. My whole reason for trying this app was so my daughter could use her smart button button to set a specific scene either during the day or during bedtime (for her night light). You see we built her a loft bed and she need to be able to toggle on a non-blinding light from two very specific lights in her room but only during specific times (during bedtime). I can do this in the normal hue app except I have to set the same scene for 5 presses, but guess what happens on the sixth press (even if it hasn’t been pressed for hours), everything shuts off even her tv that we have programmed to a smart switch. I don’t need the tv turning off during the day, only during the night. This is not achievable with the hue app and is apparently not with this one either. My suggestion is keep looking if you want actual usability instead of just pretty pre configured light shows.

Doesn’t connect without bridge. Don’t have your slogan “literally everything”, then it should do everything

Still the best out there!. Have the pro version. App has everything you need! Reinstalling resolves any issues.

I’d love to see integration with Siri Shortcuts!. This app definitely outshines its competitors, especially given its lack of in-app purchases. Nothing better than a one time commitment to get the features you’re after. I’d REALLY love to see some integration with Siri Shortcuts. The ability to create automations that trigger dynamic lighting modes would be a fantastic addition to an already great piece of software.

Really love. This is such a cool app. I recently purchased hue lights and think this app is a great compliment to the lights. I can’t wait to explore all the features.

Perfect. This app is really great, should be at the top of any Hue user’s list. Developer support is really solid as well.

Better than Hue’s own app. I’ve had a version of this app on my Surface Pro for quite a while and just recently installed the iOS version on my iPhone X. I just love it. The color schemes are great, both the static and dynamic ones. I also will occasionally sync them to music which is fun. Very user friendly and intuitive to use . Highly recommended.

UI is really hard to understand. The UI is really hard to understand, reminds me of a crappy Windows app, not well thought out at all, needs much improvement to be more Mac/iOS like!

Support?. Not sure if the support for this app was dropped but it keeps disconnecting from my hue bridge after hue update.

The search is over…. To date, I think I have purchased about 12 different Hue lighting apps over the years. One would be forgiven for thinking that to be excessive but as a visual artist and designer of several decades, light and color are characteristics that have me over the moon when they are just right but, conversely , drive me in sane when I can’t tweet them to my liking, for all that’s worth. To be fair, a majority of the apps I have toyed around with have been capable in their own ways but I always seem to be lacking one or several key things that I would ultimately discover in other apps so I wound up bouncing from app to app in order to fiddle with my lighting plots.Upon having discovered this app, I am happy to say that that quest is over.This app is simple, intuitive and so pragmatically thought out. Everything is there with all the right options and just the right amount of nicely designed presets so I don’t have to make turning the lights on a science project every single time. For the record, I just upgraded instantly as opposed to waiting to try out a few features first which turned out to be a good idea because I was able to just dive in and play with my lights without a hitch.

Hmmmm. You can’t save any configurations unless you buy the pro version so it looks like the free version is pointless. Also not sure if the tap is worth the money anyway. I’ve been using the dimmer switch which is less expensive and seems to do just as much if not more.

Very good supplement to Hue experience. A great deal of fun. 2 feature requests. Not complaining just 2 things that would make more awesome. First is update to take advantage of the gradient light strips. Second is better music/disco functions vis a vis light templates.

Great app but.... It would be great if you could add saved favorites to Siri. Can’t believe that is not possible with Hue Dynamic. You can easily add scenes using the Hue app. Otherwise this is a great app for Hue bulb users. I’ll give it 5 stars if they update it with Siri functionality.

Can’t share the upgrade. I downloaded this app for my girlfriends house. Set it up. Wanted it for the child lock feature. It’s only good for one day unless you upgrade to the pro version, which I did. Upgrades are not shareable. I have six phones I want to share this with. I will not be buying 5 more copies of this at 4.99 a pop. Seems like a good app, but will probably not use it now.

Outstanding App. Simply the best app for Philips Hue. Love the sound experiences.

Honest rating from a honestly not so honest person but being honest about this 😂. I think this app is cool. I love falling to sleep or doing work in random mood lightings. I especially love the fireplace one. I do think though there should be more options for falling to sleep other than rain and waterfall.

Great app. Get it.. This app includes all the individual features that you would need to buy individually. Everything works well and it’s a 1 time payment and not some ridiculous cost per year. Well worth the price.

Great Hue App. The app is really good, stuff works well and is responsive. One complain that I have is that there is no landscape view in the camera which makes it really weird to frame a shot. Otherwise the app is really good.

Can’t link. Tried linking from iPad and iPhone. Even put in IP address to be told no Hue at that address. Both iPad and iPhone are controlling Hue lights okay. No help service/link. One for the app dust bin.

Too much and bad UX. wayyyy too much to try and figure out and a bad user experience. Not impressed. It also screws up my lights afterwards when using Siri ( home app )

Whole home thunderstorm! 😀. Thank you for such a wonderful app. This app was easy to navigate around and in no time I had every room in the house cycling through the “thunderstorm” theme you’ve built. It was so cool to show the kids. P.S I am going to try the sleep effect part of your app. Fingers crossed it helps. 🌸

Good and easy to learn. Improvement over standard, love the cycling of colours, takes less than 10 minutes to figure out, pro upgrade not necessary for great relaxation lighting effects

Setting the moods. HueDynamic has some great “experiences” that get you up and running like a pro, setting many different lighting modes with sound effects. Put the Christmas lights up with just a push of a button. Halloween, no problem, there’s a button for that too. Thanks for a great app!

Only one thing missing.. So after testing other apps, I ended up purchasing this one. Very good UI and like the various ambience and experiences included. Only have ONE request - I appreciate the disco feature “sync to what it hears” but I’d really like to see sync with music from iTunes or other streaming services. The point is that a microphone sync isn’t always handy. So that means the app need to access onboard music apps and not necessarily via the microphone.

Always liked and used this app.. just bought full version. They have a one time purchase model. That is the main reason I paid. Obviously it rocks for hue control.
