No free navigation use. Everything seemed to work with this app as a remote perfectly fine. Up until I tried to use the navigation and go left, right, up, down and select action. As soon as you get to that page it asks you to for a one time purchase to upgrade pro. The app is basically useless without purchasing it

Worth it. Over all pretty good but still a few glitches

Definitely works. Got ripped off by SonyMote but this app works. Upgraded to the pro version because these guys did it right. I look forward to any future updates (although I don’t know what’s needed yet). Thank!

A Remote That Works for 900F. I tried so many “Sony” remotes on the App Store. This is the first one that worked for me. 4 stars instead of 5 because the navigation arrows run backwards. Some needs to fix that!

Lost money for nothing!! Do not upgrade!!. Downloaded, initially looked like it would work. Arrow keys navigation (crucial to a remote) are only available if you buy the upgrade in app purchase. However even after purchase they do not work!!! Waste of money completely. Useless

Zero stars. After paying for the app, the navigation bar is completely opposite. Up is down, down is up, left is right, right is left. What a waste of $4.00. Do not buy this app!

Spectacular. I don’t know what hit me

Waste of time. Everything seemed to be working fine at first only o find a few seconds later that some of the buttons on the remote are locked behind a paywall. Instantly deleted the app

Great Apo. I’m giving it 5 stars because it works amazing on my SONY XBR 75”. The only thing it doesent have that should be integrated in on an update is a air mouse. If you guys can figure that out then it would be totally complete.

Sony remote from Margaret. Customer service is non existence. I’ve had trouble for 2 weeks connecting my remote to my TV. Emailed them twice and no response. Checked connections on my end and WiFi is connected and working fine. Very disappointed

Paid for it, works 50% of the time and usually backwords controls!. Stay away! Dont be fooled! This app seemed good when i first got it, but it is trash. Turns on my TV randomly, then it won't find my TV or identifies my TV and wont connect to it.. shows me the name and just tells me to make sure they are on the same wifi network ( always has been on the same wifi when it works or not!) and when it does work the controls randomly flip backwards.. So right is left, fast forward is rewind etc!! been like this over a year.. Just fed up with this trash of an app!! It is terrible especiallybsince i paid for it! If the demo works, do not commit! You will regret it later, i do!

Touchpad. The only thing that actually makes this app useful is the touchpad everything else you can tell google to do and yet it's one of the only things you have to pay for

Lots of errors. The up and down buttons work in reverse many times. All buttons freeze often. Please cancel purchase and issue a refund. Thanks.

Works great!. So far no issues with my Sony 55x900e. Tried other apps but only this one worked perfectly.

Very very very good app, can be great!. The app actually works and it’s good as far as my usage goes, I would love if they would edit the way you increase/decrease volume I’m sure some other buttons as well, can only think right now about volume anyway it should be something like Netflix where instead of pressing and pressing you would hold the button move it up or down to change volume. Oh also I remember ones it was hectic to try type in search I don’t know if it’s an issue with TV systems or maybe it can be fix I’m talking about instead of going letter by letter it would be easier to just type in app then it would show on the TV. Thank you!

Can you disable the auto turn on?. If you leave the app in the background and select it by mistake turns on the tv making you wait for it so you can turn it back off and quit the app. Annoying..

Unreliable. This app started out working fine to turn the TV on and off and control it however, after a few months it only wants to recognize the TV and pair with it 20% of the time.

Nav Keys Don’t Work | No Developer Support. BUYER BEWARE! This is a bait and switch app. The only way to test nav keys (up/down/left/right arrows) was to purchase the app. After purchase, they still don’t work. Other functions do not work either. Yes, I made sure I met all app requirements before downloading the app. Tried to communicate with developer for a fix or refund. No reply so far. Issue escalated with Apple.

Tv. I bought it but doesn’t worked

Question. I was really excited about finding this remote. However the free version only offers such limited access that I can’t actually tell if it would work or I would purchase the full version. I’ve been burned like that in the past. So without knowing it would work I can’t purchased for app.

WORK!!! BUT..... I tried the free version and loved it. So, I immediately paid to upgrade to PRO version. Love the layouts of the app. The only annoying drawback is that every time I open the app, my TV automatically turn ON even when it's in OFF mode.

Can’t connect Sony XBR-75X900E. I used to be able connect to my Sony XBR-75X900E until a few days ago and remotely control the TV. Now the app cannot find the device and can’t connect

Fine but broken currently. It would be a 5 star app if things didnt go in reverse every time i reopened the app. If i use the remote, then switch to another application, and then switch back to use the remote, up is down, and right is left on the control pad and i have to reset the app every time. Hopefully there will be a fix for this

Doesn’t always connect and buggy. Half the time this app can’t connect to the TV, I typically have to restart it 2 or 3 times before it finds the TV, and then it can take upwards of 30 Seconds to connect. If I turn off my phone screen then re-enter the app, it connects but the directional buttons are all backwards, left is right, up is down, etc. Finally, merely starting the app turns the TV on when it connects, however there is no indicator as to whether the TV is currently on or off in the app. The number of times I’ve gone to close the app while upstairs in the middle of the night then had to go downstairs to see if the TV was on is ridiculous. For a paid app, this is absolutely terrible and the developers should be ashamed. I’m a software engineer and if I ever built anything this bad I would probably quit out of embarrassment. I’m giving it 2 stars because in the rare occasion it connects, it does actually control the TV.

So many bugs. What pretty much all the complaints here says. The remote doesn’t connect more than half the time. When it does connect, it works. Then sometimes the navigation arrows switch up and are doing the opposite of what you want it to do. So you have to close out of the app and back in. Then it disconnects. Once it connects back to your tv, it randomly turns it off. So annoying. $4 for a broken remote

It didn’t fully worked. No customer service.. The remote control does not work as they propose. So don’t buy it and still use it for free... literary the free version has the same features. Very disappointed.

Awesome App. Like one of the reviews I also have the XBR-75 and this app works flawlessly so far with my Sony. Tried others, some I paid for. But, none worked as well as this one.

Glitchy. When it isn’t randomly turning off my tv, it works ok. Sometimes the up/down and left/right is reversed when navigating through menus. Not ideal for a $4+ app

Functional and works as advertised but could be better. App works just as advertised and that’s great! That said there is a lot of room for improvement. Not saying it’s bad but saying it could be a lot better. Change the directional keys area behave like track pad. Reposition it to move it down so it’s easier to use. Let us reposition the TV apps on the third screen.

Works really well, except.... Great app with lots of functionality. However, I often turn off my TV using the app and then lock my phone. Then when i unlock my phone, my TV automatically boots back up, but the app was briefly open before I switch to do something, else. Can you make it so you have to press the power button to turn it on, or make it a toggle setting “Automatically turn on when opening the app” Thanks!

Works great!. Excellent app that does what it’s supposed to. I have the Sony Bravia 55X800E and it controls everything I need. This app is absolutely not a “waist.”

Works!!!!!!. I downloaded a few and at least this one works. I downloaded Sonymote and it did not work. This is the real deal. Looks like it does not do the voice control but Netflix and all your apps you can control with the remote on your iPhone.

2 out of 30 functions work would not buy again. Got as I lost my controller. Free version seemed like it worked ok but needed a navigation control. When click on says you have to buy full version. Full version worked no better than free version. Waste of 4 dollars, do not buy.

Changed from side view. I changed remote from side view from Sony when upgrading phone. Side view worked brilliantly. This app connected okay but navigation controls don’t work for guide. Okay for channels & volume. Not worth purchasing.

Ok, but a bit tricky to scroll between screens. Prefer key functions on one, or max two screens, as opposed to volume one one, arrows on another, fast forward/rewind/pause on another etc.

No Keyboard Support and Inverted Nav. Bought this as I really wanted to control by TV keyboard from My phone rather than annoying TV remote. Says it is supported in description but it does not show anywhere. Then using the arrows/nav it is inverted after finding this out through frustration. If these were fixed this would be a 4* review but 2 essential features which made me buy this makes it a 2* Please please fix these issues as this really could be a great app worth $6

Confused. Usually works really well but for the last 2 weeks it hasn’t connected to my TV so I can’t use it,. Both are on the same Wifi - why can’t it pick up the Tv signal?

Easy to use. It’s easy to use and I like it because I don’t need to point it at the TV for it to work. But if you close it and open another app and I back to it. Sometimes the directions are inverted which is a little annoying.

Finally one that works. I almost never write these things. But my remote has been acting up and I wanted a backup. I tried all the other failures called remote apps for my newer Sony and none worked well or at all in some cases. I’ve tried this app and tested it thoroughly. Everything works!!!

Navigation not working. Paid for nothing as it didn’t do a thing that unpaid subscription didn’t do. Navigation button doesn’t work at all. Wish I could cancel and get my money back.

It works well but need some work. It worked well overall and offers so many features not offered in a regular remote control. One feature that would be nice would be the possibility of creating a favourite list of the functions or being able to group them in one page instead of having to look through all pages.

So far the best. This App is a must have guys, it will save you from buying batteries over and over! The only downside, at least for my TV, I can not increase or decrease the volume using volume control, that is it! Luckily enough I can control volume using my home theatre remote!
