Don’t spend, don’t move up, enjoy 15min/day. Like w most golf games, and many others, people naturally want to move up as fast as possible. U will move up too fast and in this game especially it means ur done. Been playing 2 yrs and keeping it under the 11 th level. U want to get the right clubs to win most Areanas, get a lot of free coins, upgrade clubs , same w tourneys at lowest level and u will have a blast. I probably won’t have the clubs to compete any higher for another year. U can accumulate free balls and have fun. This game is not about skill. 3 rings is all u need to know about wind adjustment and most don’t know it. Later in higher levels most use 0 wind balls. U can buy balls that completely take away any skill. If u spend a lot and move up high, u do have to memorize how each hole is played aka where the ball can bounce over different obstacles and which balls to use before u get in range. No elevation, no distance, no curl on the ball, no wind angle change or flicker etc etc it’s baby simple but u have to spend A LOT to complete vs non skilled players at high levels. Clubs decrease wind , meter speed, and even eliminate penalty if u land in sand or rough etc…so don’t be a dummy, google the wind calculations, don’t move up util u win every area with no competition ever

Golf Rival. The game could be very good but what really makes me angry is that we all hit losing streaks but we should not get locked out of a level that we’ve already conquered because we’ve gone below the levels amount of trophies you need to be in that level. Once you’ve conquered a level and reached enough trophies to open up the next level like you got enough trophies to open up level 8 but if you lose two or three games when you’re not that far in you immediately go back down to level seven and level 8 is locked again. Please change it around so that whatever level where in if we hit a losing streak we do not have to go back down a level. If you reach level eight and you hit a losing streak leave it so we stay in level 8. Making us go back down a level does nothing but make us angry and annoyed. If were allowed to stay in that level even though we go below the amount of trophies for the level we’ve already hit that amount of trophies and open the level it should stay open. It should be for every level I’ve just mention level eight because that’s the level I’ve had a little difficulty on but It should be for any level that once you open it it should always remain open.

Golf Rival review. This game is really fun. It has good graphics with great amounts of detail in nearly every level. Unlike many of the other golf games out there, this one doesn’t Lag really at all when you are aiming up your shot to release, which has been my ultimate complaint with nearly all golf games like this. I find it to be a great game, that is entertaining and easy to just start and go. I only have one complaint. And that is the putting. If my ball is 2 ft from the cup it should be an easy putt with pretty much 0 chance to miss, but when my ball is 50 ft from the cup, the putt should be difficult, the accuracy gauge should be shaking and it should be a challenge to make it. It isn’t fair that I hit a great shot 2 feet from the cup and my opponent hits a shot and it just barely stops on the back of the green and he’s got a 50-60ft putt and drains it no problem. I seriously believe this needs to get addressed and changed because it has me not wanting to play anymore just because what’s the point? I draw 85-90% of my matches because the game just makes it to easy on the greens. Please consider what I have said and suggested for the game, I believe every player would agree with this no doubt

Really like this game. I really like this game. I would like to see a larger variety of courses in each of the upper stages beginning at nine where everything gets more difficult. Playing the same courses over and over gets boring. Plus it would be nice if people who didn’t have all the fancy clubs were better matched with others who don’t have them either. The draws are also very tiresome over and over again especially against people who have fancy clubs and others aren’t allowed to upgrade or get those clubs to get to a competitive place. While it’s no fun to lose, it wouldn’t be so bad if I was playing against someone I was evenly matched to. It would also be nice to have more reasonable offers to pick up the fancy clubs at any time past their stage offers. I can’t win against people who found the bat club early on. It was never offered to me and now I can’t get one so I always lose against someone with that club on a draw. Also I play pretty well. But lose heavily on the draws. What’s up with that?

A Fun Golfing Challenge. I was playing another game and an ad for Golf Rival came up. I watched the ad and became curious. I continued my other game for about another week and the same ad reappeared so I decided to jump to it and install it. It totally sucked me in. I played day and night, 7 days a week, for 6 weeks. As I climbed stages, I was learning the wind charts and clubs. Occasionally a fully outfitted player would compete with me and crush me. I enjoyed it to the fullest as I wanted those awesome clubs and the technique to use them, a great learning experience. As with other Golf games, you can Pay to advance, but you don’t have to pay. It can take quite a long time to grab enough Legendary clubs to compete, unless you let go of your cash. But let me tell you, golf is expensive in real life. There are bad apples that emoji bomb you as you line up your shots, but there is a MUTE button to silence them. The developers put the option of being a jerk to your opponent just like real life. But the large majority of players are courteous and well wishing. This is a very good, fun, challenging, and engaging game. Golf Rival has EARNED a place on my phone. Install it if you know the game of golf, or if your are a novice. Either way I know you will enjoy it!

Golf Rival. This game is good but for a few glaring problems. I have lost more shots picking club, adjusting club, then zeroing shot and running out of time. I am not slow but again can not use the tools and get the shot off before the game sends the shot to my opponent and therefore gaining a stroke and losing the hole. Another problem is the fact that you can be dead on accurate with not only distance and angle but centered during striking and the game rewards you with a lousy shot. Out of bounds, hazards, trees, you name it I have hit when my setup could not have been any better. Another problem is the limitation on tee off fairway choices. Most of my driving choices are getting real tight and require great accuracy and proper distance and when you throw in the above problems, it is no better than a toss up whether the ball will go where I designed the shot to land. A few of the holes give you a choice on different fairways to shoot down but again require precision that this game is not delivering. I do like the game but feel the rewards for a super set up per shot are too limiting with the problems I elaborated on.

DONT SPEND MONEY!!!!!!!!!!. Please , keep your money and spend it on a game that will at least not cheat you, don’t know which one that might be because there all crooks but this game has made up bots that are just tossed in the game. I was in the Global 50 that means the top 50 players in the world. I was 45th my friend that plays was in 36th another friend in 22nd and the guy I first new at this game was in 11th position. I went from 45th down to 50 in 1 Day the developer had made the game impossible to win at because he added a new level that everyone could not lose a game for a day are two that had a glitch. The next day people were logging on and couldn’t even win 1 single game the whole day and night. Then we started to notice players who were never in the top 50 just automatically appeared in the game. WADE if you are a real person then I’ll eat my words but this guy comes along out of nowhere starts at 49th day 1. Day 2 he’s at 38th day 3 30th, day 4 22nd, day 5 17th by this time I knew something was up then he passes my friend that was in the 11th spot so I messaged the developer and they have said nothing. This is what you deal with once you get to a certain point of the game and can’t win any more are if you get a higher level and get shut down by the developer

You need to get a clue!!!. You just don’t get do you this is my third post and nothing has changed you people really need to get a clue if you have more bad reviews than you do good or just as many but think it’s more your not posting all of them. Anyways if your objective as a game company is is make a game that everyone can vibe with and want to put money in to make to there playing experience better make it fair across the board. Remove the bots from playing in which you guys claim don’t play and make it fair other than that you have some lame duck game that nobody wants to play or pay to play. I can keep ripping into you people about the game but you guys are just going to do what you want to do and not change a thing and keep giving the same responses like“ thank you for your review we’ll make major some changes so you can have the best playing experience “ all that is a cut and paste response that you people use for every bad review or you criticize us and say it’s our fault but where not playing the game right. ( what ever helps you sleep at night ) just keep putting the blame on us even though we know the truth. Just fix the game remove the robots so everyone can enjoy the game on a even playing field.

Fun game but don’t wast too much money. Game was fun at first. I feel that you spend too much money for clubs you don’t use. I noticed that if I didn’t upgrade the clubs I started getting more cards but eventually you have to upgrade to get further. In the kingdom part if you start to get down to the end, I think you play bots. Their drive can be really bad and hit something or their 2nd shot does the same thing, the shot to the green goes in more times than not. Played around 50 games in the same spot in the kingdom and will go up on ranking and then lose multiple games to drop ranking. Has happened too many times and that’s why I think they have bots. As of late, I’ve noticed the wind has been affecting the ball differently. A shot I normally hit was changed drastically in the draw scenario. It wasn’t like that a week ago. Shouldn’t be random winds either. Everyone should have the wind in the same direction. I can honestly say this is the first game that I have spent money on and I’m disappointed. This is why I never spent money on games. You never know what you are going to get. Games should get harder as they go but should not get practically impossible.

I like it BUT. I would have given this game a 5 BUT. Okay let me explain. I like the game (could even love it). BUT, they make it so obvious that they just want you to spend your money which I have but no more because I have realized that this is all this game it a money pit ( you have heard of those houses that look REALLY NICE on the surface but once you live there for a month every bandaid the previous owner had is completely breaking). That is this game, you can’t earn the good golf balls & can’t earn any real amount of coins. To upgrade the golf clubs you use coins first 20, then, 200,600,20,000,50,000 etc. But you only earn 90 and that’s for winning a hole ( you win a chest that you wait to open or spend 13 diamonds), you can play 3 games and spin the wheel (for 1500 coins to win 800) any inconsistencies seen yet? Then there is the diamonds you don’t earn those unless you do the quests and you can win 5 or 10. I don’t mind spending money on the games but once you reach a certain level of golf clubs even spending 4.99 or 9.99 won’t get you what you need you have to spend serious amounts of money. So long story short (to late) it could be a really really good game if not for the obvious money you have to spend to even get through higher levels.

This game is the worst…. Let me start off by saying I make games for a living. This game is a poor poor poor copy and clone of Golf Clash. The two biggest problems I have with this knockoff are at the core of the course design. As you start to work your way up the tiers you get to increasing more gimmicky holes which in and of themselves are not an issue. The issue is there is little room for risk reward shot making. Execute a risky shot well doesn’t put you in a better position to score. Play safe and lay back also doesn’t put you in a better position to score. So basically all players just bomb into the same “rough” or sand trap and eventually on to the fairway (although sometimes playing entirely in the rough is the best approach) and eventually into a shootout. Landing in the fairway doesn’t mean your second shot has a better chance of making it on to the greens in regulation. Who designed these holes any way? Using limited content, like special balls, doesn’t necessarily help either so it’s not even p2w. And then there is the shootout where I have won a lot of times because I was within 50-60 yards of the flag on a par 3. In what world does this even make any sense? Having inaccessible flags on obstructed tee shots is no way to prove who is the better shotmaker. It puts most everything into the hands of RNJesus. And that my friends is no fun whatsoever. You want winning and losing to come down to execution and thoughtfulness and not a dice roll.

Do not give your money to this game. Where do I begin, this game is one of the worst games as far as matchups. If you don’t spend $100/week to play this game then you will always lose matches to people who spend that money. The matchups are not fair. You will face opponents with clubs that are levels above yours. You can have a level 2 club and face someone with a level 6 club. Just so you know, that means they drive the balls further and more accurately. 1 swing to your 2 swings Carrie’s the same distance. You can’t win like that even if you do spend the $100/week. The more you play this game the more they will force you to spend to still be in unfair matchups unless you spend thousands of dollars to play. It’s not worth it, I can’t say that enough. Just don’t install the game because you will be disappointed you did and get frustrated with the game. It’s a waste of time and if you do choose to pay money then it’s a waste of money. Still is going to take you a year of spending $100/week to be as advanced as players who have been playing the game for that long. Word of advice to the maker of this game, make it fair to everyone. Stop making it a pay to play game then you will have more people actually playing the game.

Bothered. I enjoy the game tremendously but what I do not appreciate is facing all these players that are GameRival PREMIUM ELITE players. I say that because these players do not have any LEGENDARY clubs that are lower than level 4 and as high as level 6. I understand they play game as well but my problem was that in the legendary tournament and in Kindom games I played at least 30/50 players that were those players and I had a 10 game streak of playing them. That’s not by random especially when I played same guess twice in that ten game span. It is discouraging to us who aren’t GR affiliates and we face them. We don’t have $$$$$$$ to spend to get these clubs at least level 3 to be a smidgen of a competition to them. I got demoted in kindom two ranks during those 50. And knocked out tournament 3 straight times using gems to buy back in to lose 9/11 matches to GameRival players. Other than this happening I e never had issues playing game. Never had it where I faced that many GameRival players that many times in 50 game span let alone maybe 50 times over the 635 games Ives played.

Fun game. I’m having fun playing this game. It’s kept my interest for the past few months. I like that it’s free, I can play head-to-head with people in real time, compete in tournaments, and the Kingdom and Arena areas add a nice extra amount of competition in a different way than just playing a single hole vs someone else or a computer. Two suggestions that I think would make this a 5-star game: (1) Put the hole name and par on the screen DURING the hole. This info only pops up when the other player is added and sometimes appears for less than one second. It would be nice to see this as I’m playing a hole. (2) Add a driving range. Just like a regular driving range, there’d be pins at various distances, and maybe the option to select wind speed and direction. It could be as simple as just being able to use clubs, or have the ability to earn coins, quest points, or have its own incentive system (like wolf coins in Arena). Just being able to try out new clubs before playing a hole or tourney when there’s something at stake would be a very nice feature. Thank you for considering these ideas!

JimmyEpps. I still think that it’s and unfair game because it synchronizes all of the players but me and that’s unfair because the players that get synchronize are making shots that they shouldn’t be making like puts, when the flag goes up you are in line for the put but if it comes down you aren’t in line. But the players that are synchronized make the put anyway even when the flag has came back down and if all of you MF’s have to cheat to beat me that’s showing me just what caliber of people that you are. And I just wanted you to know that you couldn’t beat anyone if you weren’t synchronized. So I still say that it’s and unfair game to the ones of us that are just wanting to enjoy a game and not be all stressed out because of the cheating that’s going on, so to inform you and the makers of this app that they should be reported to the gaming association for running and unfair game that will cheat you in all kinds of different ways. Like changing your shots and synchronizing players that are buying things. And all of those player’s that synchronize aren’t nothing but cheaters and I would hate to that I had stoop so as to cheat on a casual golf that’s suppose to a fun game because if you have to synchronize to beat a player like me that doesn’t never get to synchronize. And play me fair and don’t synchronize and I will beat you and as to me all of you player’s that synchronize aren’t nothing But Cheaters.

This game!. Hi this is John, I also play in the room 13, I just wanna let you know that your game cheats,I’ve been playing this game for an for three years now, I stop playing periodically and always come back I buy your product, I buy your clubs and I buy your balls when I buy basically pretty much everything different games and different things. I’m not happy with this game because every time I get a head in the leaderboard, for some reason I always start playing that well and the game takes over my club or takes over the winter takes over whatever and always puts me in the wrong place even though I am the ball perfectly it always goes in the wrong place so from now on I’m not anybody who asked me about about this game I’m going to tell them to beware not to play this game because it cheats, oh it’s fine that when I play the people who are guessed are always winning and I always continue to get higher scores and stuff like that so again and the other things I don’t like about this game is that your game always you have to play detects who work for you and you can tell if they are because they have perfect games are in perfect rounds and imperfect shots and they’re just so perfect anyway I’m not happy with your game I’m gonna probably report you to Apple because againIt’s not a fair game.

Not that great. Don’t believe the reviews it’s clear they’re either fake or paid or something else. Just read them why would they be four or five star when they are dogging on the game. When you get to a draw scenario, where whoever is closest to the pin wins, your opponent could get a wind of 8 mph going slightly against them, but then you’ll get a wind of 10mph going directly against you and you’ll have zero chance of winning unless they shank it. Kind of unfair if you ask me. Update: decreased to 3 stars as the wind can somehow inexplicably shift. You can compensate for a 10mph wind and your lay line will show that you’re going to land on the green even with compensation, but then you can still somehow land far short. Rigged. Update: decreased to 2 stars. The farther you get in the game the more it becomes pay to play. Draw scenario shoot-outs become more about who has the best club than who is the better player. Update: down to one star. It’s painfully evident that you’ll gain distinct advantages if you pay to play. After reaching out to the creators they insist the wind and shoot outs are completely fair because the wind is random, but will not acknowledge that if the wind is going against you on some holes you may not even have a powerful enough club to even make it off the tee to the green whereas your opponent could have a max club.

Fun then ridiculous. It’s a lot of fun at first. But then later you’re playing a lot of people that have spent a lot of money or a gazillion hours so it’s more ridiculous, not as fun. It’s clearly set up to incentivize you to spend $$ otherwise it gets frustrating and you can’t compete. The golf part is simple and a lot more fun than some of the other games. Just wish I didn’t always have to play against playing against people who don’t have a normal life or obviously don’t have anything better to spend their time and money. It is fun. Don’t get me wrong. I’ll raise it to 3 stars. The courses are a lot of fun. They have a lot of tournaments and challenges that are fun where I just wish people were sorted out a little better instead of having a novice compete with someone that has obviously spent their life savings on the game and there’s no chance to compete. Also you get penalized if you don’t win so progress you get to a point where you don’t progress at all and stuck on the same course forever so then that’s time to move on.

Fun and challenging game. I really enjoy this game. It is hard to climb the ranks. But if u can just enjoy the wins or loses and just ha e fun there is some good players. I am a freebie player and the goods are pretty great. Can win many prizes and sometimes have to save up for bigger upgrades but i am addicted. The first week i played i could hardly put the phone down. Dropped a cabinet i was carrying on my foot because i was using one hand to play and one to move lol. Its a game afterall tho so the sore losers may not like this game. You just gotta pay attention and use the guides to learn and it can be a really fun game. Wish there was more connection between players. As its extra fun when you play someone who is also just having fun. And just because someone has a full paid arsenal doesnt mean you cant beat em, just have to take advantage of their mistakes and get ahead. I tried several other golf games and this is by far my favorite. Happy stroking yall lol

Decent and Fun. The competitiveness does need to shift is the reason I give it a 3. 1. Not right to be placing someone who has been playing thousands more games than you because hmm obviously they have clubs that are supposed to be far upgraded than yours. (I see this probably significantly when you move to next stages.) 2. This is a two parter, people who pay for stuff and game modes. I see someone who has 100 kangaroo balls like 120 black balls, upgraded Bat Wings to like level 5-6 so on it’s like ok your already driving the ball an extra 100+ yards than me great it’s a waste of time. Also really hurts in the Draws it’s like hmm I have maybe 3 balls of each, this person has all these upgrades on my same stage level I don’t stand a chance besides to get lucky they miss fire!!! So I say make a stage mode or some sort of feature that levels it out to just skill. Nobody should have x30 more balls than you, nobody should have a Bat Wing level 2 and facing someone at level 6 and so on with the other clubs. Put those players using some algorithm facing one another so it gives the playing field a little more even. For instance I love the concept when finding opponent you can adjust your setting “No special balls” “Clubs within one ranking up any legendary or free game for all the base level clubs etc” if that means you lower the ranking trophy boost from 60 down to 30 or whatever so be it but at least the game is more fair and gives you a chance against equal level opponents.

Made the pay-wall higher. Yo until recently s free to play player could rival pay-to-win players through skill and some grinding. The grinding was tedious but not quite over-bearing. In one of the most recent changes to the game. The developers or owners decided to; instead of giving whole legendary clubs for tourneys or the coin shop, give only fragments for your coins or score in the tournaments. I was led to believe that ads and downloads generated revenue for apps. But to alienate fans because of greed is what gets people to stop playing. Remove the fragment system because people want to play fair and close games. Not entirely one-sided like “Golf Clash” is. You were better than them for your low pay-to-win wall making the game a little fairer. Please listen to reason as I have gawked about this game to other golf clash players because of your fairness. Don’t alienate your free-to-play players. Starting off occasionally in special events or even sometimes in tournaments I feel is fine but every other hole you start not on the tee is ridiculous. Maybe 1/4 of the time is acceptable but even that is pushing it. Revert the back to the old way to accrue legendaries please.

theres is cheaters, thats for sure. seems like everyone i played is able to use the synchronize thing and i cant。also when i was in one of the tournament thing。i made it to the last round finally with two lives left。they paired me up with someone that’s 1k+ lower stats than me. Thinking it would be an easy win. That person also screwed up the first shot. After my first shot. He screwed up again. That’s where the cheat came in. When it was my turn. He made me lost connection. When I was finally able to get connection back, my turn had ran out of time and it was his turn. After his every shot, my connection drops again until my turn timer runs out. Until finally he caught up with me and we ended up with a draw. Of course I also lost that overtime game. Then the next person they pair me up with was 1k+ over my skill level with way better clubs than me. Easily took that win forcing me to continue with gems or give up. Having way better clubs than me is understandable since there’s p2w. But with these connection cheats just ruins it for me.

Capitalist Golf. I’ve honestly never wanted to throw my phone across the room until I played this game. Is it fun? Yes. Is it addicting? Certainly. But the deeper you get into it, the more you realize that the players who win are the ones who spend money. And the more money you spend and invest in club upgrades and balls, the more you win. So on that fact alone, it’s kind of evil business thinking and not really fair. You could play a hole perfectly given the tools you have and you’ll still lose to a person with a higher level club and endless super ability golf balls because they paid for it. Oh and they play like garbage... that’s where the rage kicks in. And it’s not necessarily the algorithm of the opponents you play, it’s just the business structure of the game. If you want to win, you spend money. Or you could also grind it out days on end to win half the time. And those games you’re winning 50 percent of the time are from other people who also aren’t spending money. So if you want to drop money on a game to essentially buy the win. Go for it. The developers are probably making so much money off of you.

Complete BS Game. Could be such a great game buuuuuuuuttttt...... If you’re looking for the clubs you’re using to be upgraded, it takes FOREVER or NEVER! They’ll give you upgrades to every f’ing club that you’ll never use because they’re crap clubs to begin with, but the ones you like and use regularly will get no upgrade options as you open the chests throughout the game! You’ll get close to opening the next level, and the game will do everything in their power to not allow it to happen. They’ll put you up against a bot that has unbelievable clubs and or lucky shots to beat you and not allow you to advance. It’s annoying, but as many people have already stated, it’s 100% rigged! You’ll have a shot with 10 mph wind against you when on the very next shot by your opponent will haves 10 mph wind behind them to allow them to chuck it 30-40 yards further than your shot. It’s a joke and will be deleting this app as soon as I’m done with this review! And another thing, you’ll have opponents with a lower level than you with way better clubs, that’s annoying as well because obviously I’ve been playing this longer because my ranking is higher, but they all the sudden have a club that can go 50-60 yards further than yours??!! Give me a break! Deuces! ✌🏻

Even competition. Great game, the competition needs to be adjusted though. If you spend money on the game which I do, you should get a slight advantage over someone who doesn’t. Right now, you don’t, if you face someone who spent their life savings which I have seen. They will have 100’s of every kind of ball and all the legendary items maxed out, you have no chance even if they miss which they will not. How about having a league where you cannot use special balls or legendary items, a league based on skill not how much money you have. I’m tired of seeing games based on how much money you have and not skill. This could just be a section of the game and easy to do. You would just prevent need to prevent the use of such items as special balls and legendary clubs. I watched some of the top players play and it is the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. Bouncing balls of rock and going 400 yards. STOP allowing people to chip straight into the whole from 200 plus yards away. It’s a cheat that the top players use and again, is the most ridiculous thing I have see. Just watch any of the top players who are playing albatross matches. Balance these items and it will be a great game.

Frustrating algorithms (Rigged). The game is not made to be fun and fair. It’s made to keep you on their app as long as possible, which is understood from a business perspective, but as a consumer I’m frustrated at the lack of fairness and integrity. They put you up against a “guest” so most of the time you are going against their computer. They give you just enough taste of winning so you can see yourself moving up in the game which means unlocking more clubs and courses. You are well on your way to getting the next course when they start sending computer opponents your way who have clubs that you cannot compete with and their strike accuracy is on point every time. This makes you frustrated to the point where you quit or are forced to make purchases with the hope of gaining a club/upgrade to legitimately compete. Another thing they should revisit is having the wind be the same for each player on any given shot so I’m not shooting at 9mph wind and they get 6mph. Feeling like you’re playing a game that is rigged and makes you pay to play feels like you’re being manipulated and deceived. Aside from the moral compass of the design, it could definitely allow you to play more interactively with friends and for more than one hole. But there’s no money in that. Be sure not to fall into a trap by making in-game purchases.

Fun until…. Played this game for hours on end. Good graphics, goodies, playing people online and figuring out how to communicate with them via limited phrases and emojis…was very entertaining and competitive…then…Stage 13 (appropriately)…sure, people will spend money to gain advantages here and there, as expected…but at this stage it’s almost required to advance. Unless you want to drain hundreds of hours into it, there’s no real alternative as by that point you’ll often be playing against “people” who somehow lucked into or paid their way to be dominant…also, at this stage, the wind speed and guides seem to have a mind of their own as things one would have trained in time and time again seem to be lost in producing an accurate play. Just kind of disappointing that the game puts you down a path of new experiences opened, then proceeds to essentially cap it with outrageous expectations from their players…I’m a gamer so I like being rewarded for hours put in, if you’re fine with recycling earlier levels with no enticing reward and just trying to kill time I suppose you won’t mind as much as I did…. …side note, if you heard about the game from IG like I did, the promos/ads they put out are for whatever reason NOTHING like the actual game, gotta love marketing, right?

Good but needs improvement, frustrating!. Overall it’s definitely a fun game and very well made. I think anyone can enjoy this game. Unfortunately when you start to really get into it and build that competitive edge you begin to notice very important flaws in the functionality and playability of the game for example when you are trying to place you’re ball on the green where you need it and you tap your finger on the ball or the curser around it to try moving it but the game thinks you are trying to move the whole screen. This is extremely frustrating when you are losing time and forced to take a shot you didn’t want to. Also another major flaw that has happened to me out of nowhere numerous times is when you are pulling back to drive the ball on the first shot and release only to have nothing happen like a total misfire as if time ran out or something but I’ve had this happen with plenty of time left and I’ve even had it happen twice in a row on the same hole. I would normally chalk this up to user error but it happens too frequently and consistently. These errors really take the fun out of the game because of course when you lose a whole shot to one of these errors it messes up that entire hole.

Poor algorithm. I go days losing 14 games in a row because it sets me up. I’ve had people come in with the worst clubs in the game and not even leveled up hitting further then my earned clubs I’ve leveled up to 7 and 8. I’ve lost 500+ points in one day due to the constant wind being against me but always seems to be in my opponent’s favor. Another thing that is constant is the guide lines for ball direction. My lines show my ball going easily along the path yet after I hit it goes into a barrier or wall when it showed previously no indication , while my opponents path lines indicate the ball will hit a barrier or tree and it puts their ball directly and smoothly down lane as you’d want it. Once you get to a certain level and spend a certain amount of money, the game turns against you for sure. If you stress or worry about loss or your an angry player, DO NOT DOWNLOAD this game. I’ve paid for balls during events and had them disappear losing 15 of the father day balls. Lots of bots you play against that don’t fail on any shot. Some of the shots made make be believe we are also playing cross platform with people on pc which is also not fair. I don’t have a mouse for my phone to click and scroll with.

Gets Boring Really Fast. Each level has a few new holes you play over and over and over and over. Then as you progress into the higher levels, the amount of wins required to get to the next level increases by a lot. So now you’re playing the same few holes over and over and over and over and over and over even longer. It gets SO boring and so old playing these same holes. To make it more difficult, you’ll likely be competing against people with upgraded equipment. If you want to get ahead then you’ll have to dish out real cash to purchase the club upgrades and special balls to have a chance. Putting is WAY too easy. Everyone makes their putts when on the green from anywhere. The difficulty never changes. Like ties? There’s plenty of those and a simple one hit long drive contest determines the winner. Don’t have upgraded equipment? You’ll lose if they do. Not using a special ball? You’ll lose if they are. So dish out the cash and keep buying. By the the time you’re finished buying all the upgrades you could have purchased a PS5 and a really good game for it. Don’t waste your time with this silly golf game.

CHEATING!. I give this 2 stars because when you play actual opponents it is a good game. However, it is obvious they have people that work for the company that play against you just so you will lose if your win % is very high. I screen captured some of the people I played against and thought…those stats cannot be real. How does a player with 400 games with a 40% win record have 3 holes in one, 15 albatross, almost 200 eagles, and 100 birdies? That is mathematically impossible! Unless all their opponents have made all holes in one or albatross’….which we know is NOT the case. I also see others post about how they are matched up against players with superior clubs. This happens a lot if you are good and advance quickly. The answer for the developers is simple….pair up based off the number of games played. The people who have these superior clubs are the ones who have played 7000 games while you are at like 500. That has been my experience. Just to compare my profile to the above, I have 480 games played with a 84 win %. I have 1 hole in one, 6 albatross, 175 eagles, and 225 birdies. Compare those two stats and you can ONLY conclude what I’ve stated in this post.

Fun Game (for a price). This game is really a lot of fun and does require some attention to detail (like wind speed). The downside is that it’s nearly impossible to keep up with other players if money isn’t paid to play because, those who do pay, upgrade their clubs far faster than normal and have countless trick balls in their inventory. Trying to compete with players who spend a lot of money leaves those who don’t at an unfair disadvantage. Last, I really do wish people would learn how to play the game without always using a special ball. I see countless players (mostly those who pay to play) use balls to gain distance, for example, only to watch them lob their way through the rest of the course and, ultimately, wind up losing. This game doesn’t require a huge set of skills, but it seems those who have to use a special ball each and every swing are demonstrating how poor they are at the game overall—and that minimizes the fun in an equal challenge; thus, my 4-star rating.

Review. This game is addictive, unfortunately it does set you up to pay allot of money to succeed, the chest are junk gives you mostly club upgrades on clubs no one uses, and very little towards the popular ones, you keep wasting gems to open them and no pay off , even my helm club has maxed out yet I keep getting cards for it, also they set up the arena on some holes to be out reach on your top clubs, they change the wind so it’s towards you and hole can’t be reached or you reach on your 1st shot perfectly then your second shot is set up with an out of reach wind wasting hearts, , the kingdom is also set up for failure making shots impossible to make or you set up a shot perfectly the guide line shows no red and no obstacles in your way then you hit a branch or blade of grass that wasn’t in your shot set-up, if you can’t count on the guideline than what good is, I’ve written them several times with no response, but they’ve made the game frustrating, then there’s level 13 witch I don’t even like playing, too many billboards, they’ve taken golf right out of the game with that level more like a pinball game not golf, so I basically do the arena and tournaments, level 13 is awful!!! They definitely cheat you out of money with this gam Still getting cards on my helm club , it’s maxed out with no upgrade available, why am I still wasting cards on this

Useless clubs and I think bots compete against you!. I really like the game itself. It is very entertaining and fun. However, I have played to rounds of competition and I landed in 2nd place twice. It was impossible for me to catch up. I even have screen shots showing where it would be impossible for someone to score that fast and win that much. The clubs awarded are a waste, and those you really need of course are a rarity to come up. The only way to get what you need is to spend money. I get it, you have to make money but then don’t show the stupid ads to get the freebies, it’s like double-dipping on the same player. Btw, those “legendary” clubs- Sure they work but they never give you the club you really need. I have two legendary sand wedges, why would you give me two when I only need one??? Lastly, the legendary unicorn, what a waste. Save your money, and don’t spend your diamonds on those chests, in the end you pay more later. I hope this feedback is considered. Also, does this game use bots to compete with the players? One more thing, when you do compete you also play with folks who are so far better and have better clubs that you know you will lose right from the start. I have had some nice players actually let me win.

Pls Add Tutorials that further explain Wind Rings. The game is great & there are many things that are highly addictive. However if you ever make a purchase w/real $$ you then realize that you can’t make lots of holes anymore and/or you lose a lot more often or you barely get any free balls anymore & I believe it’s purposely designed that way so that you can spend more real $$😡—which I think it’s pretty sad that the developers do that. I have no qualms in admitting that I have used real $$ to purchase balls. However I don’t have any wasteful bad habit no I do I go out to the clubs and currently during this whole Covid thing , my only source of entertainment are playing online games so at times I’ll splurge on myself and spend a few bucks here & there BUT it’d be really nice if the developers didn’t take advantage in respects to the aforementioned but rather; give a little more of the gift balls so that others can enjoy the benefits of the game. Otherwise it can be easily discouraging to people and may also be why they leave on to other sites... I would have rated this game at a four star but given what previously mentioned is why I only gave a three star

Best Golf Game. If you are trying to decide between this game and Golf Clash, pick this one! The only edge I would give Golf Clash over Golf Rival is that Golf Clash does a better job of giving a wide variety of different tournament events and locations, while Golf Rival’s tournament is largely the same every time. But from a pure gameplay mechanic and technical standpoint, Golf Rival is the better game. The wind mechanic, spin, and different special balls all make much more sense in this game and it is far less often that you feel cheated. The different clubs and upgrades are much more straight forward and unless your opponents clubs are several levels over yours, you can still win if you judge wind properly and execute perfect shots. The shot meter is much better as well. And while Golf Rival offers much the same in-app purchases as Golf Clash does, you never get the feeling that you have to buy things to be successful. In Golf Clash you could be on a long losing streak, getting robbed left and right. Then you spend a little money and everything goes your way for a while. You never get that in Golf Rival. It is CONSISTENT. Golf Clash is all over the place and very unreliable when it comes to consistency. Choose Golf Rival!

Great game. I have been playing this game for at least 5 years now I have started it over every time I buy a new phone. If the developers are reading this I would like to make a request, it would be helpful if we could organize our balls by their use, the time it takes to find the best ball option eats into our time. If all the stop balls were in the same place we could find them faster. I’m choosing to believe that you do listen to what the players suggest. The second request is please stop with the junk cards!!! I don’t want to play for junk. It’s annoying. Any body that spends their time/ money/ energy/ ingenuity on this game needs some respect. It’s insulting to be playing for cards that we will never never use. It’s a waste of time…. So now I don’t play the game to advance I just play each hole as it own challenge because I am not going to be insulted by the crap cards…

Best Golf Game Out There!!!!!. I’ve played pretty much all the decent golf games out there and this one is by far the best one around. The leveling system is simple and fun. The tournaments and events are rewarding and can be pretty challenging but you don’t need to be a big spender to win. Which brings me to probably the best part of an already great game. You don’t have to P2W! I’ve been playing the game for about 4-5 months(maybe even less?) and I pretty much have every legendary club. All of which are around LVL 4 without spending thousands of dollars. I’ve maybe spent $10-$20 a month but that’s on Kingdom and special golf balls mostly. Point is, if you looking for a fun and addictive golf game that isn’t pay to play, then this is HANDS DOWN the game to get! P.S - New players, please please please look up how to use the wind chart for this game! I’ve seen so many games lost because the player didn’t understand how the wind guide works. Trust me you’ll thank me later!

Timers and challenges. The timer isn’t actual time, it varies on- honestly, who knows what. After a certain amount of a time a ten second countdown starts, and i used a stopwatch a few times, and the time is wildly different. Two big times I saw it was when in less than the 10 seconds, 22 real seconds had passed, and in another, 6 seconds, it seems totally random but quite annoying, another note is why are there timers in tournament? For those who don’t know, tournaments are single player challenges, and yet the timer seems even faster then, while it could be for difficulty, tournaments also limit how far you can shoot, bounce, etc. because I’ll make shots outside of a tournament the play the same hole and not be able to make it half as far. Challenges are unbalanced, you never get anyone nearly around your level to play with, either their clubs are 4x as strong, or 4x as weak, which makes it extremely easy for some and impossible for others. Game isn’t unfair because it seems to do the same to everyone on here, it’s just whether you get lucky or not I guess, it’s a good way to waste time but if you don’t spend your money then you’re never gonna get to the top, just kind of in the awkward middle

Bad customer experience. While the game itself is a great game, I had one of the worst customer experiences which I will share below in details. In the game, one can purchase balls and clubs. I accidentally bought balls for 4000 gems. A minute later, I contacted customer support chat to explain that i made the purchase by mistake. Two days later, and there was no response. I kept sending them messages and they didn’t respond until I threaten to stop making in-app purchases. Their response was we do not permit reruns and we do not issue refunds, however, they promised to escalate. 7 days later, nothing was returned, they stopped replying, and decided to uninstall the app. Update, their response to my review was merely lip services since I already reached out to them and waited over a week. Update Even after I reinstalled the app the removed every club that I accumulated and put me in a beginner level. They told me they could not recover my account because I have not provided them with my login id, which I do not remember because they assigned me a random name. I gave them the first time I contacted them , which was on January 24th, but they did not even try to recover my account insisting that I give them the exact Id which I could not do.

No in app purchases needed. I’ve played this game for over half a year now and have had lots of success and usually have better stats than my rivals, although I usually have worse clubs. I have never made an in app purchase in this game, so for all the people that claim you can’t win without in app purchases, this is false. I have days in which I don’t play well, but overall I have good and consistent success. I didn’t always play well, but then I took 2 minutes to look up the wind patterns for the different club types and immediately found more success. I can now consistently dunk shots with most clubs from most terrains. I also try to use as few special balls as I can and try to save them only for when I need one or can guarantee that I will win by using one. By doing this, I never have an issue with running out of balls, while also still winning many games. Overall, I think the most important thing to know is the wind patterns for the club types and by knowing these, there is no need for in app purchases.

Lucky Spin. Either it has absolutely nothing to do with luck and is predetermined or I have the worst luck in the world. Since the lucky spin became part of the game I have taken my shot at the wheel each day, and have NEVER landed on the best reward EVER. I would think with the law of averages I would land on the best reward which is a 1 in 8 chance at least once every 3 to 6 months. 90 to 180 free spins every 3 to 6 months and NEVER land on the best reward. The lucky spin wheel should be changed to the daily free predetermined gift wheel. Or, my luck is just so bad that it supersedes the law or averages. It’s a fun game until you have to be paired with a whale who has clubs that are double the level you have. When that happens to me anymore I take now swings at the ball and continuously praise they’re amazingly paid for clubs. WOW, NICE SHOT, IMPRESSIVE, 👍, 😎, WOW, IMPRESSIVE, GOOD GAME! Hopefully they pick up on the fact that they have paid for twice the clubs I have and it’s not really a game of competition they’ve just paid to win and I’m not playing with them. But other than those two things, it’s really a rather enjoyable game.

Fun game but buggy. I really enjoy playing this game, but I don’t like playing the tournaments anymore. You get placed against opponents who have obviously been playing much longer than I have. One opponent hit a drive 550 yards! I was like what the what?!? Also I lost one game when it inexplicably disconnected while I was about to putt for the draw. It wasn’t my WiFi that caused the problem it was the game. Secondly, frequently it mixes up clubs when I’m playing. It should be irons but downgrades to wedges for some odd reason. This can be very frustrating! Please fix these bugs and get an algorithm that fairly places tournament opponents. I strictly avoided the Albatross tournament because I’ve never had one and yet I faced an opponent today who has obviously excelled at that tournament because I was matched with him twice today in a regular tournament and both times he had an albatross to win (although the second one did not show his ball going in the hole, it just stated he’d won with an albatross, so I’m a bit skeptical about it.). I enjoy playing the stages where players are more evenly matched. I would suspect there are many like me who stay away from the tournaments because of the disparity. Unlike many players, I don’t disconnect if it’s obvious I’m going to lose so this uneven matching is very discouraging.

Very difficult to win without spending a fortune. I have been playing for about a month. The contests are ridiculous. You enter one, and the contestant you are put up against has a score of 3000 points better against you. It means they have much better clubs and can hit shots you have no chance of making. Or you try to get the closest to the hole and the person doing it has a club that hits the ball and additional 50 yards further than you and you have no hope of beating unless again you spend a lot of money to upgrade your clubs and balls. It is not worth it. You are better off avoiding all the contests and just playing the main regular game. There on your level you are generally paired against someone with about the same club set and speciality “balls” which you have a fighting chance of winning. You can wait to earn enough club strength and speciality balls before pushing to move up to the next level. This way you may have to spend a little bit if you are careful and not aggressive in moving up you can get by (slowly) moving up through the ranks. It is the Conley way to play without spending a lot to compete.

Love this game but…. There are many things about this game that are just truly aggravating. When the special challenges come up and you go up against people around your skill level but as soon as you start advancing you’re facing against (for example) a level 6 bat wing compared to your level 3. While you can barely get to the fairway, the other person can clear it with no problem. The most aggravating thing over all is the problem with the clubs changing on you depending on your slight distance from the pin. Thus eliminating the possibility of dunking the ball. Instead of lining it up with your iron, it changes to your wood, then your wood club has wind debuff so it’s nowhere near where you were lining it up. See what I’m saying? ANNOYING. Yes, I love this game, yes I spend money on this game even though I’m paying into this obvious pay to win system. I’ll continue to play but I strongly urge the devs of this game to fix this small yet incredibly annoying thing plus al the pay to win stuff to maybe slow down a bit. Maybe even some better gem discounts and more opportunity to play for stuff. Maybe even some new game modes. Me and my buddy play this game at work together and we would love to have a simple custom game where we can pick the map and maybe the wind (just a few obviously) I hope the devs see this and do something. That would just be dope.

Game’s a joke. All the complaints you read about this game are true. It’s a fun time-waster at first, you advance quickly through levels and club upgrades. Then it becomes a money-waster. Whatever you do, don’t fall into the pay-to-play trap this game offers. Don’t think that by spending money, the upgrades you need most will suddenly appear. They won’t. You’ll get hundreds and thousands of cards for clubs you’ll never use and rarely you’ll get the upgrades you actually need. And unfortunately, for you to continue to progress and enjoy the game, you need the better clubs. They’ve got you in a classic catch-22. This isn’t even to mention the physics of the ball flight, wind effects, inexplicable obstructions, and unpredictable bounces. I’ve taken to forfeiting games if I hit even one bad shot, because the ROBOT opponents you play against almost never shank one. This is all a major letdown because the game has potential to be fun AND fulfilling. But I’m sure the developers don’t care as long as that sweet, sweet caysh from all us suckers keeps rolling in. If you’re not a competitive person and don’t care about any of this, have fun. If you are, be prepared for a lot of frustration and have a very robust phone case.

My FAVORITE app!. When I downloaded this app I wasn’t expecting to actually enjoy this app as much as I do.. Perfect example of “judging a book by its cover” sorta speak.. The tournaments are a lot of fun. The different balls that are released… I am always so excited to see what’s new. I can play with my friends too. So, there is ONE CON to this game that I feel because this little blip has been bothering me for sometime now lol so here goes it…… When the customer choose a specialty ball, whether it’s won or bought, we can use it only ONE TIME! What is up with that? Another golf app I switch back and forth between this app and the other, because the other has the option to continue using their specialty ball or choose a different ball after the first hit. I hope I’m making myself clear as far as that suggestion goes. I have payed a lot of money to get specialty balls and gems and all that.. Using the ball once, I feel is a waste of money… We should be able to use the same balls throughout the game! If WE don’t want to use that specialty ball, we should be given the option to continue using it or switch to a different ball. So that’s my review… this game is really a lot of much fun and I will continue to use it! I will admit I sometimes get lost in the game I forget how much time has gone by! It’s just really fun. I have and still do recommend this app to my friends and family and even strangers 🤦🏼‍♀️ 🤷🏼‍♀️ because the game is just that fun… Thank you, Heather

Fun at first but then you gotta pay to win. Game starts out fun but to be able to compete with others in your rank you can’t win due to their clubs being way better. I’m at level 12 and every round I play is against some one with clubs so much better than mine it really makes no sense why they would still be on this level. So I ponied up $50 to buy more gems so I could open more chests but unfortunately it’s a scam because all the clubs you get are junk and not the good clubs you need. I believe mot of these players with the massive advantages are actually bots and not real people. Feel pretty ripped off at this point but I’m the dope who got suckered into spending money. Update: after a couple more weeks of play, I have not played a match with a single player with clubs that are not far better than mine. I mean my clubs are at a level 4 and my supposedly matched opponent will have the same club at a level 7 or 8. The only way I can win is if they make a grave error. A draw will always give them an even larger unfair advantage than the one I already overcame just to get to a draw. I’ve managed to reach several hundred points into level 15 to only get beaten so many games in a row I will wind up under the 15,000 point range and go back to level 14. No matter how many chests I open I can’t get cards for the clubs I need to win unless I pay for them. So I say again, do NOT spend money on this game.

Decent game. I see a lot of negative reviews because of the pay to play and seemingly unfair advantage given to those with better clubs. I agree at times it can be tough to compete with those that have paid a lot of money but generally I really enjoy the game. Having a better club is an advantage but in 90% of my match ups my opponents and I have similar level clubs and I’ve never spent a penny on this game. You can get chests and rewards frequently just from playing. So most games really do come down to skill and experience. As for “random bounces” and inaccurate trajectory lines honestly the complaints are ignorant. There are specific game mechanics that are consistent. The bounce changes from course to course and the wind is random in each shot. The reason the ball doesn’t always go exactly where the line is because there is an often overlooked accuracy stat for every club. Each club has its strengths and weaknesses. Fun game with several different modes and events. Good gameplay and fairly lighthearted. Element of pay to win but I guess most apps are like that nowadays. Good game for free.

Very Frustrating!. This game has potential to be very good but the deeper you get into it the more frustrating it becomes. There are games where I’ve taken into account for the wind, hit perfect shots, and my opponent hits far less than perfect shots and ends up beating me on the hole. One sometimes gets paired with opponents with far superior clubs where it is impossible to beat them. I don’t mind losing a match when I hit bad shots that miss the mark, but it completely frustrates me when I’ve hit perfect shots to lose the match to someone who hits worse shots! I’ll win a game move up to the next level and end up losing many matches in a row, then win one or two, then loses bunch in a row. It takes forever to move up and stay at the next higher level. Getting cards for the clubs you want and use also takes forever. I’ve played this game for some time to get to level 11 without spending a dime but I’m losing patience of losing matches that are not based on the shots I hit verse my opponents. Breaking ties is really a random result and not based on accurate shots! In the end, it was fun for a while but has consumed too much time for the results achieved.

No good. Simply cannot play against anyone.. I search for a opponent and it freezes... then takes you back to main menu... there is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection... and there is nothing wrong with my device... I can jump on any other game on my device that uses internet and can go online... the game looks great but no... waste of time and space

Great game you can play for free. Love this game! It’s fun to build up clubs, skills and make friends. The rewards are great and you don’t have to watch adds to play, but are rewarded if you do. Most important, new players should connect to the various GR communities on Facebook. Helps you to learn tricks and strategies from others who also enjoy the game and chances to win great prizes.

Allow device to rotate. Charging an iPad Pro while playing is difficult due to screen rotation being disabled while playing the game. Please allow rotation in the next update. Otherwise great game but can get expensive if you don’t take your time levelling. Also more new courses or altered versions of existing would be great as playing the same ones gets very repetitive and boring after a while

Addictive gaming. Enjoying this game so far after just a week. I like that there is a choice between 2 of each club type to mix up shots, and having the option of playing courses from any stage I have already opened - it’s a good way to experiment with different clubs and shot types. Kingdom is a great way to earn extra rewards and quite challenging.

Listen to feedback. Good potential, clearly not listening to feedback. More than a year people have been saying they get put up against other triple their level with no chance of a fair game, then the holes get ridiculous you can’t even hit to the fairways sporadically spaced out to the hole? It’s a good game but becomes frustrating as you try to move up levels or compete in competitions

Annoying consistency. The game constantly makes me play people with far better clubs while I can’t get the same club cards and the opposition shots according to the guide should miss by some margin but go in and my shots are marginally out and miss. It’s not consistent, plus if I have to play up every time obviously those players are playing down

My new addiction. This game is very addictive. It is easy to use, and I love competing with others. You are immediately pair with some (not left waiting for the game to find you an online player like in some apps). There is a range of methods to progress. My only nag is the amount of advertising for Royal Match. I don’t mind adverts for other games, but EVERY advert is for Royal Match and it is very repetitive. I like to discover new apps from ads. Yes I could pay for the game but I like for the free version.

Glitchy opponent selection. Game gives you wins then slams you with loses. There is a yo-yo effect happening a lot unless you pay real money. The more you spend the easier the game it seems. Or you use mods. I’m close to deleting the game and no longer playing due to the unfairness. Can’t get contacted by GMs or anyone for advice to find out where your going wrong. Everyone wants “Video or it never happened!”

You lost me. As we have no way contacting the admin I will let you know through a review. You have lost me as a player. The games appear to be set up, the wind variances from one player to the next, the ridiculous fairways, wind variances in general - when tailwinds have the same effect as headwinds, pull your ball up short. The ridiculous play off holes, the game is not a game of skill but one of chance.

Good Fun. Good game, can be a bit slow at times building up gems and coins. Putting is the worse part of the game as it’s almost impossible to miss putts. People who spend the cash will progress a lot quicker. Disco Jonny

Fun and unfair. This is a fun game to play when playing for trophies and in the tournament. The graphics are very good too, however: -Massive unfair advantage to those who pay hundreds to thousands of dollars. Waste of money. -Kingdom and other mini challenges are rigged, given you are matched against people who pay lots of money. It is virtually impossible to win in this format once you get up to Earl level. The developers will continually match you against those who spend $$$. It is total greed and cheating. Do not get involved in Kingdom or the mini challenges!!!! -Legendary Clubs virtually impossible to get and upgrade. -Developers have no interest in making this a fair game.

Meh. Was a good game for a few days until you level up and unlock more courses. Then it’s all Pay to win from there on. Spend money and you can get clubs that add less wind resistance, more accuracy and power so becomes impossible to win as a free to play player.

Good game. Its quick. Graphics good. Chipping insanely easy needs to be harder, you shouldn't be able to hit ball in on the full. Some obsticals too hard to get around. Tournament needs a leaderboard and ranked prizes. There is a glitch where on tournament mode if you quit hole before next hole begins, you start that hole again next time you play. So you can keep playing hole until you get the result you want All in all its a good game just needs a few tweaks to make it great. .

Not fun anymore. Once you get to level 15 you used to spend a million dollars on clubs that you don’t even want and even then you have to play from rough to rough to rough because you have to hit the ball 5 thousands metres to hit a fairway. Liked the hand until then, totally not enjoyable any more and I’m not spending any more money to end up with clubs that I will never use. Stupid design of level 15, I’m at ghz point where I won’t play the game anymore

Fun game. Has a few flaws the main one being that your opponent has a lot longer to set up their shot than you and you then lose a shot. No added shot for going out of bounds

Challenging & Addictive. Finally a game that matches opponents at a similar level and maintains a competitive challenge regardless of the arena you choose to play in. Rewards are constant and fairly earned if your skills continue to improve. So far loving the game... excellent!!!

Great golf. This game is fun as . To those that don’t like it maybe there’s other golf games for you. I find it fun and I like the idea of the game. It is easy enough to level up clubs . Also most holes have a few ways to complete them .. top job game creators

Golf Rival. The game is fun to play and very enjoyable...but can be completely unfair when playing in tournaments like kingdom and club challenges because you get opponents who are way above your own level and therefore you do not stand a chance of winning. Game developers need to sort this out and make it a fairer game system.

Seems rigged. This game has great potential. The graphics and actions are very good. However, unless you continue to spend money your “luck” gets very bad. Your ball will end up no where near where you hit it, it will bounce of obstacles no where near it, you will have a “perfect” shot that is aiming right for the pin and will land and “shoot” straight across the green and way off the other side. When it’s time for you to battle for promotion you will be paired against someone way more experienced than you and the “luck” will always go their way. Great game to play but don’t expect much unless you continue to spend.

Fun but not easy against higher rated opponents. This game is fun but would like to be playing against people who are around the same level or has played the same amount of games, not double or triple the amount of experience, bit unfair at times with them having way better clubs and advantages. I would also like to see the person furthest from the hole take the next shot instead of taking it in turns and your opponent copying your every move. Lastly I would also like to be able to pick from all my clubs won for different holes instead of just 2 from each category. This here alone would make me give this game a 5 star rating. Thank you:-)

Money grabbing game. They take all your gems on pointless cards and never really give you the legendary cards you want, takes way to long to level up. Game glitches a lot and is really just a big waste of time. Download at your own risk but if you read this then save your time for better things in life

Good idea gone silly. This is a great game. If only they kept the office junior away from the planning meeting it would be perfect. As it is, they’ve spoilt it by including silly holes that are more like crazy golf than real courses - hitting through holes in rocks, dodging lava flows, allowing short cuts through the rough ... get real guys ... this is not how golf is played. This takes away the skill and makes it a game of chance. Remove those silly holes and add more realistic ones back in and it would be a great game. What also makes it disappointing is the imbalance created by needing specific clubs to be competitive. Since the clubs you get are random (in that the cards you get are random) you can essentially lose by being up against an opponent who can go over or through an obstacle you have to go around. By all means create an advantage for better clubs but don’t make it impossible without them.

Great game. This is a great golf game it is exactly what it looks like in the preview of it. Challenging at times but still easy enough to pick up. After playing a few other golf games this is the best one I have tried.

Golf Rival. It’s a great game.. but! In all tournaments they put you up against much higher tier players. I can drive a ball 330meters but the opponent can hit 400 meters + with 2 level higher clubs. I wish you could have multiple options to choose opponents! If you spend big dollars you can buy higher level clubs, so the game definitely looks after the $ players. I’ve spent about $100 so far because it’s a great game and addictive. Just breaks your heart when you spend 200 gems to stay in a game with absolutely no chance of beating your opponent 🤔

Why? Not more time. Hi first of this game doesn’t give you enough time to take a shot or find a spot to hit the ball in time I think it’s ridiculous that you only get 10seconds count down like give us more time to find a spot work out the wind puck a club choose a ball and enough time to line up our shot other then that this game is excellent I rated two stars because you deserve it

Best Golf Game App!. So much fun with not just simple stage play. There are tournaments, Kingdom play, Arenas. You can play and win (do well) without having to spend money, just takes time and patience. Learn the wind charts and you’ll be good. Definitely worth a go!

So far, so good.. I’m loving this game but have noticed an unfair advantage. This concerns the wind factor. I can play a shot with wind factor 9 then it’s the opponent’s turn, gets the same shot but with wind factor 7 or less and sometimes in a different direction. This makes a big difference to how the ball travels. The wind factor should be the same for BOTH players playing the same shot. Improve this to get 5 stars. Update, Downgrading my stars as this game is now extremely unfair to players who don’t want to pay to win. I now notice that there are a lot of bots (or cheats) playing especially in the arena. I notice that a lot of players are complaining about paying to win and my response is if your silly enough to make in app purchases just to play a game then all the more fool you. I will pay for a game if it’s worth it but NEVER pay to win/play.

Good game but too many issues. The game is entertaining and well thought out, but there are too many issues as follows -getting matchups with players who have been playing for years and have high level clubs -half the time wind speed does not work properly. Notice it mostly in tournament games. Had a game where wind speed was 7.1 for me and 7.4 for opponent. Same direction. We did almost identical shots and yet his landed perfectly and mine gets blown off the other way. Doesn’t happen too often, but annoying that it tends to happen during important games. -game looses connection quite a few times a day. Don’t get any issues with the net for anything else so can only think that it is either a compatibility issues as I have iPhone 6 or an issue on their end. Another thing I think needs changing although it’s not an issue is that putting is far too easy. Unless you mess up or finger accidentally twitches, you will never miss a putt. So the moment the ball is on the green you know it is going down next shot. I’m only on level 10 so I don’t know if that changes in future levels. Because of how the game is mainly about tournaments, these issues are more frustrating than they usually would be so I gave a 2 star instead of 3

Actual Theft. A shocking game run by Zynga who implement shocking tactic to essentially steal money off you. This game will prompt you to press a button on the screen but there is a hidden screen behind that pops up as soon as you press the button - costing you money. Absolute theft. If that is not bad enough, this game manipulates the outcome. It is not you Vs your opponent, it is you against a rigged machine. Downloading this game to your phone is basically the same as giving criminals access to your bank account.

Massively flawed. The pros: controls are quick and easy to pick up. Cons: [deep breath] Putting is entirely academic. It’s as easy to sink a 100-footer from the edge of an undulating green as it is a gimme teetering on the edge of the cup. Chipping in is an absurdly common occurrence in this game. The use of saved profiles as opponents is unfairly balanced against you. Only people who won their holes usually get to finish the hole so you’re only playing past winners. Because of the ease of finishing a hole, once you’re past the lower levels almost every hole concludes with one player chipping in, or more often a nearest the pin decider. This is so common it would not be an exaggeration to suggest you do away with most of the game and replace it with a nearest the pin contest. The wind is totally inconsistent, your opponent will have a gentle 4km tailwind and you’ll get a 10km headwind. Both players should have roughly the same conditions. The punishment for spakking a ball into the rough or bunker seems irrelevant as the player landing neatly on the fairway will get to the green in no fewer shots normally. Worst of all, looking at the comments people have been leaving for years, the developers have no interest in changing any of this, in fact these shortcomings appear intentional, aimed solely at encouraging people to spend money on upgrades in order to level the field. This whole game is nothing more than a cynical arms race.

Great game. Great game!!! Love the graphics and game play I just wish upgrades were a little easier to obtain as I’m stuck now and can’t advance because I can’t upgrade the clubs needed

Like the pokies....easy to lose.. I also enjoy this game but when I draw with an opponent and have to “play off”, my opponent shot can be placed longer than mine so we’re not equally placed. The next round my opponents reach is shorter. Surely we must be evenly placed or there is no fair competition. Pull your socks up guys, there is a lot to improve in this app. And as the previous reviewer stated , much to much money for very slight improvements. 👎

Purchased experience has the added advantage. Depending on how much extras you purchase will determine your winning advantage. Overall a great game but needs to have some balance with skill level

To whom it may concern. Fellas, not a bad game but when I am close the hole like on the fringe or maybe further out the wind is usually obnoxiously strong so as to take the ball way off course 2/10 physics

Top heading of game not compatible with iPhone 11. The general view of coins and gems cannot be seen because the iphone11 has that camera on top of screen. Frustrating not able to see.

Good Game. Good game. Can take a while to get through the stages. Definitely strategy to think of when upgrading clubs etc. Bit expensive to buy the challenge pass every couple of weeks, but good rewards. If anything, trophies should be awarded for a drawn match, and the winner of the play off could receive bonus trophies??

Fun, but..... I love the concept that you don’t have to go backwards in levels if you don’t want to, or lose too much like Golf Clash. I hate the fact that I get matched fairly evenly when playing normal games, but then get matched against WAY higher players with WAY better clubs in tournaments etc. Even if I manage to tie with them, a lot of the tie breakers require zero skill but huge distance, so the player with the better clubs (most likely having spent LOTS of money to get them) wins every time. Amazing how the clubs you need just miraculously stop appearing after a certain level, but show up in the “spend money and get this reward” section. Over it.

Get rid of the cheat shots!. This game would be great except for the short cuts. It’s a game of skill but you can hit a perfect shot and your opponent just blindly whacks it sideways into the rough, shortcuts the hole and makes an eagle… boring! I previously rated this game 5 stars, it was a great contest until about level 8…

Great but still needs some refining. I love this game & could play all day. It’s easy to master & caters for all levels of skill. Like most games though if you don’t have the money to spend on the in-app purchases you can find yourself at a disadvantage in special events.

Developers of this game are cheats. As usual, a game that is fun to begin with - but eventually money-hungry developers decide to put in bots, or their own players who are impossible to beat (or progress) unless you spend more and more money. I was a spender of $…not a huge amount, but would’ve ended up being about $1000 a year…but they still want MORE! Don’t bother unless you’re very rich, or enjoy being beaten by fake players over & over again at important points of possible progression.

Changes. Firstly you should be playing against opponents of a similar level. Also as an older player the colours in the alpine region make it difficult to distinguish between rough and fairway. Other problems are the clubs characteristics are not varied enough and ability to change these is too limited. At level 11 I am beginning to get bored and angry as opponents with better clubs is not fair.

Slam dunk. How often is a slam dunk done in golf? Like a 1000 year storm right? Well not in this game. Nearly every time you play someone slam dunks and even from the most unrealistic distances. Does hitting OB get a penalty stroke....nope just distance. This is another golf game written by people that have likely never actually played the game. If you’re a kid, like more arcade style & could be bothered spending so much time playing you too can master ridiculous dunks then you’ll probably like this.

Good game. Easy to play and learn. It is true that there is a bit of a mismatch when it comes to Rival selection but that just makes you strive to become better. Recommended for Golf fans

To many cheats. This is a very good game, except for two things, (1) there are to many people cheating and (2) the putting is so easy. To all the cheats out there , you are spoiling it for others and doing yourselves no good at all. You are only cheating yourself. I think that you should be able to report these people. And let the app people deal with them in some way.

If your looking for a game of skill you will be disappointed. Have played this game for plus 12 months. If you’re happy having to pay considerable amounts of money (in the hundreds and thousands) to progress beyond the first 10 levels then this game is for you. But that’s not my real concern. Despite reaching out to the developers, in good faith, having identified a bug in their game, the only response you get is patronising denials. The current game in the kingdom tournament has a major bug that causes the game to freeze. You can’t do anything about it other than to close out of the game. This results in you losing both the game and resources (specialised ball types). My guidance is play until you have to spend money, then change to another App. There are plenty of other golf games out there. These developers aren’t genuine in fixing the bugs in their game.

I’m hooked. It’s a pretty addictive golf game, I like isn’t plagued with ads, not a single one for been a free game. You have a lot of ways to progress without spending a single dime. Of course if you want you can buy a lot of stuff to upgrade everything but I haven’t spent any money and I’m in a fairly high level. I really recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a fun entertaining and addictive golf game!

Irritating. Don’t waste money buying anything on this game. most of your opponents are in-game bots and the game will just match you against bots that can beat you irrespective of what level you can play. this is designed to make you think that spending real money will help you overcome this dilemma but the game will just adjust the bots accordingly it’s a vicious circle of thievery. Play for free and then you have nothing to lose

Server Dropouts. Was enjoying the game until recently. I have been getting game server drops out and then try’s to reconnect. This happens during a game and when it reconnects, you have either lost your turn or the game depending on when it happens. FIX IT!

Pretty good.. Easy 5* if the over view when looking at the hole before a shot was better. Need a info button on the clubs so you can see the stats when looking at use or upgrade mode. The over spin or under spin ect is really hard to use on IPad and quite often the time runs out because it just won’t move up or down, left or right. Maybe a few more different holes per LvL

Update. Latest update changing the prizes and overall run of tournaments has taken this game from a 5star all they way to ZERO. Making it -51 in tournaments with considerably high entrance fees to win the best prizes is just crazy.

Super well made game. Great game, nice graphics etc… Truth is, after about 6 months of playing, you can still have fun playing without paying any money, but you won’t get too far! Some people are paying huge money to get better clubs or special balls to beat everybody, OR uses cheats to get goodies… Well made from the creators, addictive, but…BTW, I invested myself more or less $150.00 in 6 months into the game (and it’s not nothing compare to many others), and still enjoy it up to now, we will see…

Too many bots. Once you get to certain levels you just can’t win…you end up playing bots with all the best clubs…it’s like they get you to play them so that they can show you the power of the clubs in the hopes you’ll buy them in order to compete…

Awesome game!. Great graphics, engaging format, lots of opportunities to get coins and diamonds. Great variety of tournaments. Very good pairing with opponents. Make sure you watch the tutorial on wind effect. Overall a fun game!

Unable to connect to your server. My internet connection is very strong, so it must be your server which I have been trying to connect. Every now and then am able to go in and play, then when a new game is about to start, it reads , “ connecting to server.”

Yeah, What he said…... Been playing for about 2 months and I’m liking it a good bit…..,but….., as many point out, you and the “other player” get set at the tee and they get a Wind setting and I get up to hit and presto, I get a sudden change of direction and speed. Not nice 🤯! As to other point, yes, as you get higher in the standings, it seems that the point spread inconsistency gets a little out of hand, I’m at 7400 range and yet when it comes to climbing up a grade or level, my opponent, time and again, turns out to be 1,000+ points higher, with great club choices and powerful balls(see what I did there), something a bit pissy to my liking. Let’s be fair guys as you rake in the $$$. Speaking of which, there hasn’t been an upgrade for quite a while, so let’s get going there fellas.

Fun game with videos. A very fun game to play. Takes silly golf to a new level. Unfortunately to add coins and jewels you must watch videos. When you attempt to load a video you often get the message “sorry videos have not been loaded yet try again later”. Thus you can not add coins or jewels, another method to attempt to get you to pay money - gee whiz what next!

Advertising. Played for years and enjoyed it. Suffered through the ads to gain items/coins but recently the “apple” ads shutdown the game and open up their own app….when closed and open the game it continues to open up the ad until I close golf rival and reopen it! Get control back over your advertising!!!

Very bad game after level 11. Easy to win up to level 11. After it’s very hard to win. You always play against the computer never against real people. The computer have much better clubs than you after level 11. To get those clubs you need to pay lots of money. STUPID GAME. Hope no one is giving money to these china cheating companies.

Freezing. Find that especially in draws frame freezes when you try-to move location to hit ball and then you run out of time and lose. Also why does the wind spend change when you tee off from one person to another when your shooting from same location. Does not even finish loading and shuts down

Handicap algorithms. I really enjoyed this game in the beginning especially when I needed to occupy my time. As I advanced, the game’s fun got old fast and was replaced with frustration. It appears that about 98 percent of my losses are conducted in a draw match, closest to the hole draw. This seems biased. It would appear that the game has a handicap system which will not allow you to advance quickly. It becomes obvious after a while, and frustrating. There is an obvious higher difficulty for some while the opponent is unaffected in the same game. The other issue that comes occasionally is that the game ends earlier than it should. In some games the other player wins without me getting my match shot. Update: Played a few games the other day, had three different opponents each get an eagle back to back. What are the odds? I like this game, but something isn’t working. A winning streak? Never more than 2 games if I’m lucky, but losing streaks are very common even when you just play to match your opponent shot for shot, and the results are drastically different.

Bad reviews?. A lot of the bad reviews I see are people complaining about cheaters and people paying for upgrades. I haven’t spent a dime on this game. I play it daily for about 5 rounds. I have never experienced anything that I would deem as unfair. Sure sometimes you get matched with someone that is a higher level playing down to earn a previous club, but it’s rare. I think people either don’t play long enough or aren’t as good as they think they are. Everyone misses a shot sometimes, and has losing streaks. People need to remember that it’s a game, and part of the fun is losing a few and then getting back on top. The only issue I have with the game is that I missed out on a club early on and I haven’t figured out how to win that club, but honestly I’m fine without it, it would just make some things easier.

Warning money trap!. I have been playing this game for about 2 years and I have noticed a pattern in the game play. If you play so many rounds without buying anything it starts to change the play until you can’t win without buying gems or coins and special balls. The wind direction and speed meter stops working right, you get nothing but bad wind directions while you’re opponent, who will always have hundreds of dollars worth of special balls and club upgrades, will only get good wind direction. Your bounces and rolls won’t make any sense and always put you in the rough or bunkers like a magnet and the shot meter won’t work no matter how perfect the shot is it will always throw you off from where it should be. Would be an excellent game if skill mattered more than money but it doesn’t and during this time of inflation people should not be giving their money to other countries like china who are exploiting naive and ignorant people out of huge amounts of money through dumb phone games. It’s sickening save your money don’t micro pay for scam freemium games and help your own economy and financial well being by being fiscally responsible.

Fixed game. Doesn’t matter how good you play, or how much you upgrade your clubs. This app chooses who wins and loses. Simple as that. You see shots made that should never go in the hole...and then others that should go in and don’t. I’ve been playing this long enough to know. When obviously terrible shots are made and they are successful that should tell you something. I think it’s a way for them to prevent you from leveling up. April 2022 review update: There used to rarely be connection glitches but recently something has changed. Must have been an update that screwed it up because it constantly disconnects and by the time it’s reconnected me my time is up. I’ve lost many games due to this issue. It needs to be fixed !! It’s not my internet either because we have Starlink and it’s very fast. Please address this issue. I see many others that are saying this in their reviews. It would be nice if I could be compensated for my losses in some way due to this flaw.

Screwed it up. As usual a really good game that could be really great but....... i would spend money here and there on such an enjoyable game and as usual if you don't constantly spend then it will screw you much more often then not in hopes that you'll just spend so you can start winning again. So instead of getting some money from players and keeping it fair and not lose people they just try to take as much and as fast as they can. I hardly ever enjoy playing now cause who wants to only win 2 outta 10 games no matter how you play. The arena is a joke, tournaments are a joke, i don't even bother with them anymore. I get matched now with someone who is hitting over a 600yd drive constantly, there on the green in one shot and the best you can get is 3 shots on green. I just forfeit now to them and if it happens 3 times in a row then I just stop playing altogether and that's all the time... Another game being killed by greedy companies.

Great game. I have been playing this game for at least 5 years now I have started it over every time I buy a new phone. If the developers are reading this I would like to make a request, it would be helpful if we could organize our balls by their use, the time it takes to find the best ball option eats into our time. If all the stop balls were in the same place we could find them faster. I’m choosing to believe that you do listen to what the players suggest. The second request is please stop with the junk cards!!! I don’t want to play for junk. It’s annoying. Any body that spends their time/ money/ energy/ ingenuity on this game needs some respect. It’s insulting to be playing for cards that we will never never use. It’s a waste of time…. So now I don’t play the game to advance I just play each hole as it own challenge because I am not going to be insulted by the crap cards…

theres is cheaters, thats for sure. seems like everyone i played is able to use the synchronize thing and i cant。also when i was in one of the tournament thing。i made it to the last round finally with two lives left。they paired me up with someone that’s 1k+ lower stats than me. Thinking it would be an easy win. That person also screwed up the first shot. After my first shot. He screwed up again. That’s where the cheat came in. When it was my turn. He made me lost connection. When I was finally able to get connection back, my turn had ran out of time and it was his turn. After his every shot, my connection drops again until my turn timer runs out. Until finally he caught up with me and we ended up with a draw. Of course I also lost that overtime game. Then the next person they pair me up with was 1k+ over my skill level with way better clubs than me. Easily took that win forcing me to continue with gems or give up. Having way better clubs than me is understandable since there’s p2w. But with these connection cheats just ruins it for me.

Pay to win and poorly balanced. I’ll start with what they should do not regarding the pay to win nonsense. Putting is far too easy. It’s genuinely impossible to miss a putt, so at least 3/4 of the games you play end up in a draw once you play for a while. Once you’re in a draw, whoever goes first (which is completely random) is at a disadvantage since the second person can just watch where the first lands and then hit a much safer shot to beat them. With that out of the way, this game is entirely pay to win. The kangaroo ball, which is very expensive to purchase and you barely get any of, let’s you bounce the ball much farther which saves an entire stroke on most holes. Not only that, but people have access to better clubs than you if they pay real cash for them, and this ends up with you in lobbies that are legitimately unwinnable. The gameplay isn’t terrible, but it’s frustrating losing at no fault of your own just because you choose not to spend tens of dollars on items.

Decent game but not the best. This game is ok. The only issues I have is that 95 percent of the time the wind is against you. I understand that the wind makes the game more challenging and I have not problem with that, but I feel like the wind should be equal when it comes to hitting with or against. Unless it’s a ploy to get you to buy the balls that decrease the wind. Which is another issue, when you win or purchase balls you don’t even get to play the entire hole with one, you lose the ball as soon as you hit it one time. I personally think that’s pretty crappy. Golf clash allows you to use the balls you win or purchase the entire hole you are playing. And last when you are made an offer to get a large number of balls or club upgrade cards the offer is always made just short of the amount of diamonds you have and I’m assuming that is also a ploy to get you to spend more money. Other thank that the game is ok.

Needs a connection improvement. I play a variety of games which allow you to play against other players and are more graphic intensive and possibly more data driven in the background than this game. The game is well done, fun to play, and a quick fix when I want to get a quick game in, or two, but I don’t have the time to play something lengthier. However, when other games work fine this one always gives me a connection issue and drops me halfway through the game. I don’t know why but it is something that should to be. addressed. I would have given the game four stars, maybe five, if not for the connection issue. I have been playing this game for several months, many times I have been in a location with only one bar and the other games work fine and this one halfway through my game always gives me a connection issue and drops me. Very annoying and why would I spend money on the game which doesn’t work properly and have an impact on my standings.

Disappointing. I really wanted to like this game. The graphics are decent and gameplay is okay. Most of it is skill based, but it often pairs you against people with vastly superior clubs to where you can’t come close to completing. There are a lot of “bad bounces” where you hit a perfect shot exactly where you are aiming and the ball bounces at odd angles into the rough. Until you get an Earth or Batwing driver, you can’t compete. My main gripe is some of the shootout holes. One is pure luck. There is a chute you put the ball in and it travels to the green. It doesn’t matter where you aim. How close you end up to the pin is pure chance, no skill. It’s pretty frustrating being beaten by someone who hits a less than accurate shot because the random nature of the hole puts his call closer than yours. Another requires you to bounce your ball off a wall where it’s pretty random how the ball ricochets. Another thing I’ve noticed is this gam chews up my battery life. After three holes, I’m down from 100% to 75%. So don’t play this game w/o having a charger handy.

Fun for a bit. This game is really just a better clone of Golf Clash. It’s really the same game but Golf Rival doesn’t make you spend gold to play a round. I played Golf Clash for a good bit but quit because it was very carefully tuned to make advancement and gameplay very difficult after a certain point without paying what adds up to be a quite costly game. I also became convinced Golf Clash altered the game mechanics on a player-by-player basis to achieve those ends. Golf Rival seems to be a bit better at all that but it’s still golf on mobile. Golf is a hard game to keep both exciting and realistic on electronic devices in general so I like that Golf Rival sways a bit farther into “arcade” style gameplay. That is, the courses are quite unique, you can take 2 of each club, and balls have impossible (but not stupid) properties. This makes for more unique shots which helps to make the soon to wear charm last a little bit longer. If you want realism there are some other really good apps out there but they cost a significant amount of money to play (probably because they use real courses, clubs, and balls so I imagine the licensing fees must eat them alive). Golf Rival is a fun and happy medium between putt-putt and sim golf. Also, putting is far too easy. I’ve played quite a bit and have not missed or seen someone miss a putt yet. At this point they might as well just call it, “first to green.”

Complete rip-off. The game is designed to make you spend money. It’s hard to maintain the discipline not to if you want any chance of winning we’re getting better clubs; but, you were competing against people who have figured the game out and have parked at lower levels with better clubs. So once you get better clubs, you lose to people who have figured the game out. Then, if your phone glitches in any sort of way, you lose Internet, if you pull back too far with your thumb and Siri picks up, if you get a phone call, really anything then you lose the round and any special abilities balls that you have paid for. it’s really a problem and there’s no customer service to go to and say hey I had an issue because of “x”. Then the other issue is time. It’s a very slow game. Unbelievably slow. In fact, the slowest game you could ever possibly play. The graphics are great. The action is great, but like Vegas slot machine it’s strictly designed to pull money out of your pocket at the house always wins.

Great game, better if you have time or money.. The game is well-designed and becomes very challenging as you progress—this is a good thing in my opinion, as it makes the game fun and engaging. The best way to become a competitive player is to obtain higher level clubs/upgrades and special balls. This can be accomplished in a number of ways that I won’t detail here. Fair warning: if you don’t plan to spend money, it will take you years to obtain the upgrades necessary to make your clubs competitive, assuming you don’t play the game 24/7. Also, the game can be glitchy from time to time. I’ve been disconnected in the middle of games and then was given a loss once reconnected. This is annoying, but it has not happened very often. I have seen reviews that the game is rigged, for example, the timing of swing gauge is inconsistent in tournaments to make them harder. I’m not sure I believe this. I have noticed that bad swings seem to occur more in tournaments, but whether this is rigged to happen seems a little bit conspiracy paranoia to me. Overall, great game but plan to be in it for the long haul unless you spend money, and purchase options are not cheap. On the bright side, the game does have built in give always (free coins, gems, balls, etc.), but these free items will not significantly increase your ability to be competitive. They seem to be more for reinforcement to keep you playing. Good luck!

Just my opinion. Overall I like the game and it’s very simple to play. I just wanted to provide the app makers with feedback. It’s a little annoying that you are only allowed to say five G rated phrases when playing other people. I mean, I get that kids might be playing and people use derogatory words, but swear word phrases can easily be censored. Just a thought. It makes it impossible to connect with the other players. Another thing that I can’t stand, is people leaving in the middle of the match because they’re inevitably going to lose. I’m sick of having to wait 45 seconds because some poor sport can’t stay around to watch my victory. I understand people get disconnected, but a shorter time limit my suffice. Especially after I make the final putt and the game is over but it makes me wait. Infuriating. Makes me want to throw my phone. The game is fun, but some of the limitations need to be changed. And that’s my opinion. But I appreciate the game. Thanks.

Fun game.... This game is a lot of fun. Great graphics and challenging courses with varying degrees of difficulty. Lots of options to keep it interesting. I only gave it 4 stars because although I realize the creator and game platform is designed to make money, I believe the ability to purchase multiple different upgrades gives an advantage to those that have the means or desire to pay for what seems like an unlimited number of enhancements such as clubs and balls with many different super powers or advantages. I agree with a previous review that stated you should just play your best game and not worry about what others do but winning is how you are allowed to advance in the game, spend money to purchase upgrades! I don’t mind paying to play but I’d rather pay one price to play the game at a certain level and have all the players be equipped with the same options, so that skill and practice are the determining factors in playing, winning or losing. With all that said, I still enjoy this game....

Fun but with flaws. The game is fun, the courses are decently designed and the gameplay is smooth. My only complaints are that it does not appear that skill matters. The only real way a game doesn’t end in a draw with a shoot out is if one of the players does something completely stupid or you get stupid lucky, otherwise you’re most likely going to a shoot out. In shootouts the club lvls matter heavily, but in normal gameplay higher club levels should make a bigger difference in the outcome. How does someone with a lvl 3 legendary driver still draw against a player with a lvl 4 epic? If the legendary items don’t offer some sort of upper hand that actually makes a difference then why are they in the game? The other complaint is that it doesn’t appear this game makes people register past a certain trophy count. How am I at 3500 trophies paying 1000 coins to join a tourney and only get matched with guest accounts? Make them register if they want to keep climbing the ladder. Also on a side note the drop rates are incredibly horrible! My last 9 chests have been nothing but wedges and sand wedges. Hardly ever any drivers or irons and when you do get them they are low quality. If you want high end clubs better open your wallet and/or find a way to win some tournaments against all the guest accounts. Game is a great idea with good design but needs attention.

Just a money grab. Everything you play you have to spend money and a lot of it. They try to sell you lots of things to get upgrades which can cost hundreds if not $1000’s of dollars. If you do upgrade clubs you then get to play with people with upgrades a lot more than yours so you just lose games because they can drive farther or can have slower level bars than yours so they don’t miss hit shots. Leveled up clubs take forever to upgrade unless again you spend $100 to get to a next level and that’s just to start out. Tournaments are fun but soon as you get close to the end your again playing folks with upgrades far superior than yours so it’s no point playing. If they could figure out that part where you play your same league players with same upgrades then it would be more fun and competitive. I feel like I’ve wasted enough money and now it’s time to just delete my account because it will take literally a year to upgrade to level 6 out of 12 levels total. Can’t imagine playing this game so long losing.

Golf rival. Awesome game, amazing play style, very realistic, and its very enjoyable. I started playing the game 3 days ago and I got hooked, like wow how is that even possible. I haven’t had fun in a game like that in a while. Ty dev for making such an amazing game. Good job. P.O: the game is kinda pay to play but not really cause even if u dont play the game gives alot i won a challenge and got legendary club which is awesome and its not needed to have legendary clubs to win. Some of rare clubs is even better than legendary ones. And honestly I’v seen alot of videos for this game and its all about how good can you control where ball should land , that have a big effect on gameplay. It is not Necessary to have the best clubs or the best balls to win. With all that been said, thank you developers for making this amazing game

If you want a game with no support, this is it!. Man oh man, do I want to give a good review. Luckily they only got about $50 from me over the last year, before I decided to stop feeding their greed. The game isn’t too bad, considering the other options out there. You can pick the game up and learn fairly quickly. However; when you run into a technical support issue, the support is non-existent. I went to back my account up to Facebook and it reverted to a guest account and bound it instead. 4 days of no answers, despite multiple avenues of communication. Unable to complete challenge pass quests that were purchased with actual money, due to a glitch. Caught a few cheaters while screen recording too :) passed that on to devs and their excuse was to clear my cache. This game could be so much more, but sadly the devs do not care about time sensitive glitches and bugs, only about how much money they can squeeze out of you. Game used to be fun to just play, now it’s almost pay to play.

Better have money!. This is a very frustrating game if you’re competitive, and don’t want to spend thousands of dollars. Yes I said THOUSANDS! They offer packages every week which include golf balls that take all the wind away, give more power, and pretty much every kind of advantage you’d need to easily beat those who just want to spend a little money, or just don’t have the extra cash. These packages also give access to upgrade your clubs that you can’t get otherwise. That’s great for them, the share holders, that people have that kind of money, but at least they should give an option to opt out of playing the “money sharks” that take all the skill out of the game with their big bucks. If you want to get to a high level, and don’t plan on spending mega dollars, this is not your game!! It’s disgusting how many $99 packages these fools buy. Crazy. If they had a way to separate the rich fools from the talented ones who only want to spend a little cash, when they have it, it would be an incredible game. Too bad it’s not!

Only good if you pay money.... This game is fun, don’t get me wrong.... But it’s based off the fools who pay to play! The guys and gals who fork up the dough for all the “special deals” are the ones who usually win the battle/round/tournament/arena/challenges ect... They have the better clubs and balls because they paid for them. I’ve been playing for 8 months and can barely keep up with their level of clubs. It’s B.S.... but I get it, the devs need to pay for that new car. Seriously, I’ve been playing for a grip just to not even keep up... why? Oh, cuz I’m paying to play....🤦🏻‍♂️ Either way I still play hoping I can eventually break even without ever spending 1 dollar on this game. Just too much time trying. Hey Developers, bring back the if you lose, you lose points. And give more opportunities for us “actual players who don’t spend money on the game” to earn the better club upgrades and more special ball opportunities as well. Your adds do ok... to help a little, bit not much. It’s a free game, so I can’t gripe too much. Just fix a few small things to make a bit more fair to play.. Apparently it’s “pay to play” or get beat on the challenges and higher levels 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sad game, pay to win, wish I could give 0 stars. First off, the fact that someone who plays for less than a day is playing against people with clubs that are stupidly higher than then is just an easy way to get people to not play anymore. Second, the game chooses who it wants to win at the beginning of the match, your ball will adjust accordingly NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO OR HOW YOU HIT THE BALL if both parties land the fairway throughout the hole. I literally got a perfect and adjusted for the wind and the ball went flying the opposite way and right into the wall for NO REASON! Let alone if you spend money you get things that are EXPONENTIALLY BETTER than anything you can get free to play. The “wheels” you can spin for prizes are 99% you will get the lowest thing on the wheel… it’s shady advertising just like most pay to win games are let alone don’t play for too long or you will hit a MASSIVE PAYWALL! Be expected to pay 15 dollars or more just to stay in competition with anyone because EVERYONE past earl rank all spent money…. “Magically” just a terrible game!

I'm insulted!. I've been playing Golf Rival for a few months now. I have over 2100 trophies, I've played the Arena, Kingdom & a few tournaments. The tournaments are ESPECIALLY an INSULT TO MY INTELLIGENCE!!! When I play a tournament I honestly believe that I am NOT playing a REAL person! I have a difficult time believing that anyone with more trophies than I have could play so HORIBLE! People putting the ball, yet aiming off to the side of the hole! Or, shooting BACKWARDS, AWAY from the hole! I have read Golf Clash reviews from supposed Golf Rival fans complaining about playing too many "BOYS". I have played more bots in Rival! In fact I don't think that I have played a human at all in the tournaments!!! The graphics are NOTHING compared to Clash. You can't join a Klan, nor do you receive the amount of freebies! Golf Rival is my "play around" game. Clash is where I play for competing! Plus on Rival, the shoot outs are totally UNFAIR! ONE apponent can put the targart farther than the other! I complained about that issue, but nothing has changed! This game is OKAY, but don't take it seriously though!

Great game but issues. So even with a pretty major issue I find this game to deserve 3 stars. I’d give it 1 star but the game is just really good. So my issue is that I purchased a challenge pass for $5 but never received it. Waited over 24 hours and I even opened a support ticket in the app right after my issue happened. Even after more than 24 hours I still haven’t received any challenge pass and the bigger issue is absolutely no one has responded to me. I love the game and will continue playing. But I won’t be making any purchases, since my first time was a hassle. Other than this issue, the game is easily worth 5 stars. Another small issue is there is one or two ads that you can not close down when claiming some rewards. I learned to just close the app before even wasting 30 seconds watching it because if you watch it all and try to close the ad, you can’t.. so basically you will have to watch a new ad for the reward.

Bad reviews were correct. The stars are to rate the bad reviews I saw, they were very correct. Update again, app now pretty much continually crashes in the middle of play so you lose your match. Update, I recently found out that if you give them bad reviews and 5 stars so it will get read, they will retaliate by making your play even more unbelievably off. Shoot the ball 1 way it goes way off. Do not waste any money on this game!!! Crappy till you decide to purchase hoping it will make it a little better, then gets worse as soon as you do, I guess they hope you'll spend even more money, then you get pitted against bots, shots become more inaccurate, using the same clubs, balls, even wind similar velocity, and the shots go way off from where they should, frustrating and completely unfair, I hate dishonest people, and I hate dishonest games. Super frustrating, so screwy, it'll make you want to pull your hair out.

Fun but grossly unbalanced match making.. Very fun game. Lots of cool corses and holes to play. However the match making is extremely unbalanced. For example, I have level 3-4 drivers... yet because we have similar trophy count, I’m pitted against maxed out level 9-11 clubs. I don’t stand a chance when it takes me 3 to hit a green and them only 2. Or when we both score the same, the closet to the pin contest has me not even close to being able to reach the green and with max clubs, while they easily float it onto the green with power to spare. They win 90% of the time. I do enjoy the game and will continue to play, but game matching system should take into account club levels as well to make it more fair. I have about 1000 games in and I am matched with max players with 3-4K plus games every match. Only time I win is if they screw up really bad. And I have the wind dialed in pretty well and hole out fairly often now from the fairway. Still I lose on the pin contest 9/10 times.

Disappointing Algorithm Ruins Golf Rival Gaming Experience. I'm extremely disappointed with Golf Rival. I played this game for 6 months and made multiple in-app purchases to enhance my gaming experience. However, I found that the algorithm used by the game was very unfair. It constantly paired me with top players, making it impossible for me to win and progress to the next level. As a medium-level player, I expected to be matched with players of a similar skill level or slightly higher, but that was not the case. Furthermore, I felt that the game was designed to push players to spend more money by forcing them to compete against more experienced players. It felt like the developers cared more about making money than providing a fair and enjoyable gaming experience. After struggling with the game for so long, I finally decided to delete it permanently. I strongly advise against downloading Golf Rival. There are plenty of other golf games available that offer a more enjoyable and fair experience for players of all skill levels.

Near perfection. I won’t call this a perfect game. Every game has flaws. This is especially true for mobile games. I will say it is as close to perfection as a game gets. The flaws are only barely noticeable at first. It eases you into the game nicely. Now, what are the flaws? It’s less flaws and more features I wish the game had. I want the ability to change the type of club I use. Maybe I want to use a driver instead of a wood or a putter when I’m on the fringe of the green. I also want a head to head mode with all 18 holes a course has to offer and I want a mode where you can practice holes by yourself without going head to head. Other than that, I see no real flaws, it is a great game that is missing key features that could make it even better

Good interface, bad physics, horrible golf rewarded. I like the interface and variety of features in this game, but the physics, especially with regard to the effect of wind, is insane. Light winds seem to effect long drives and short chips the same, with even chips from the fringe moving substantially in a breeze. The bigger issue is the way the game rewards bad golf. Aiming for the hole on the fly seems to be a goal in this game, with any ball that comes close sticking to the bottom of the cup. At the same time, putting has been taken completely out of the game. In essence, any ball on the green is a gimme. It’s almost impossible to miss. I’ve played 1,000+ holes and only missed 2 putts so far. One because my finger slipped, and the other because I was on a huge green, and so far from the hole that the game wouldn’t even let me try! This weird combination means that the most important parts of golf, good putting and a strong short game, are meaningless. Just have the longest clubs, and you’ll win most holes.

Fun Game. I downloaded this after seeing an ad on Two Dots. I have found it to be a pretty great game. My only complaint is in the “arena” section, they should really make a rule, or at least have an option to only use regular balls and/or clubs. I find it’s typically the same person who just comes in and uses a bunch of epic clubs and charged balls to win every hole. Often times this person is only at like 2k points which means they probably bought all of these balls and clubs (which is great for the developer, and I have made several purchases myself, but I try not to use them unless I have to) I wouldn’t have an issue with this if it were people at the appropriate level using these items, but it seems unfair to the people who paid their dues and just want to compete in a competition using their game playing skills rather than just using a bunch of power-ups they bought.

This game is stupid don’t download. Don’t waste your time. I’ve been playing this game for a couple of months. First of all there is no skill to putt in this game. You make it to the green and that’s it. They might as well take the putting out of the game. It’s stupid. Next, they pair you with other players and bots, that are impossible to beat. Courses and holes that I have played 100 times are now impossible to make a shot on after they’re so called “update” to make the game easier to play. This was a ploy to try and get people to put more money back into the game to upgrade clubs. Level 7 clubs now take an impossible amount to upgrade without paying money. I put some money into it at the start, and I have regretted it ever since. And it seems very odd that all the people that complain about this game have 4 and 5 star reviews. So I would have given it 0 stars or less except it makes you vote at least 1 to write a review. Please notice the change on my stars. Because it’s a farce. This game will be unloaded, and I’ll find a better way to waste my time. And if golf rival reads this, please give me money back. Idiots!

Gets Boring Really Fast. Each level has a few new holes you play over and over and over and over. Then as you progress into the higher levels, the amount of wins required to get to the next level increases by a lot. So now you’re playing the same few holes over and over and over and over and over and over even longer. It gets SO boring and so old playing these same holes. To make it more difficult, you’ll likely be competing against people with upgraded equipment. If you want to get ahead then you’ll have to dish out real cash to purchase the club upgrades and special balls to have a chance. Putting is WAY too easy. Everyone makes their putts when on the green from anywhere. The difficulty never changes. Like ties? There’s plenty of those and a simple one hit long drive contest determines the winner. Don’t have upgraded equipment? You’ll lose if they do. Not using a special ball? You’ll lose if they are. So dish out the cash and keep buying. By the the time you’re finished buying all the upgrades you could have purchased a PS5 and a really good game for it. Don’t waste your time with this silly golf game.

Infuriating. Are you ready for a golf game that pits you against opponents that have way better clubs than you? Clubs you can't even buy but yet seems like everyone has them but you? Are you ready to face opponents that can ring the cup from 300 yards out like Larry Bird drained 3s? Well then look no further. This game is fun and has potential but it's also broken. The most infuriating is the matchmaking. It pits you against opponents that have clubs 2-3 levels above yours consistently. That may not sound like a lot but it's just enough for them to win the closest to the hole challenges you have to play when you inevitably tie them in the match. And idk if these people are cheating or just bots because they are also crazy accurate. I can make the ball bounce or roll into the hole from far out (if I'm lucky) but these opponents shoot it right into the hole. Like, how? I'm also convinced the wind mechanics are broken. Sometimes a 10 mph wind will send my ball careening off course, other times it barely moves it.

This game is so rigged. As for a golf game it’s a good game up to level 15. It’s somewhat realistic on how wind effects the ball most the time. Shots are believable and greens make sense as far as how the ball lands. Then you hit level 16! Wind is crap! Sometimes a 18mph wind will blow your ball as expected the next pretty much not at all. The greens suddenly become like concrete and the bar bounced 300ft in the air if you put backspin on it. Everybody all of a sudden is able to chip the ball in the hole up to 100yrds 80% to 90% of the time. The designers have totally rigged this game against you at this point. There is nothing in the last 3 levels that makes any sense or has any consistency what so ever. Seriously the worst game I’ve ever played with no reality in the game play at all. Won seriously about 55% of my games up to level 15 once I hit 16 I’m winning about 20%. My skill level hasn’t changed but like I said the reality and consistency of game play went out the window and with the majority of players sinking anything around 100+yrds every time the game is bull****! Pure and simple bull**** and not worth your time.

Fun and worth playing. I really enjoy this game. It’s very easy to play but is still challenging to play it well. I have also played Golf Clash and to me, this game is far superior. The one thing that I have found to be a down side is it is very sensitive to losing a network connection. When trying to compete at higher levels, the victory goes to winner but that comes by being able to evaluate and set up your desired shot within a certain time. The disconnects, no matter if only momentary, cause a reset time of your shot that soaks up valuable time causing a last second rush or running out of time completely. The game has a good balance of being able to play competitively without having to spend money but there are some little things you can spend a few bucks on to make things more fun and help you along. At the end of the day, things are all about well placed shots, which is perfected by only practice.

Use caution. The game itself isn’t bad. Just would caution you when playing the game there is a cyclical pattern.! You play for awhile and win multiple games, then they want you to buy upgrades ( coins, gems, and equipment ). After you upgrade you will win some and then go on one of their famous forced losing streaks. For example, this one time I was on a hole and my “apponent” had the wind going from right to left, he lined up the shot left, and hit the ball left and somehow the ball ended up smack in the middle of the fairway. The the approach shot was off and somehow it ended up on the green and after a long put somehow it ended up a few feet from the cup. So you end up drawing the hole and go to a closest to the pin shootout. No matter how close you hit your shot they will always be just a little bit closer. Moral of the story is be careful how much money you put into this game and keep an eye out for forced losing streaks that drain all your coins where you are forced to buy more to keep playing.

Crooked company 100%. If you want to keep your sanity, do not spend a dime on this game. No matter what you do, it will come to a crashing halt once you stop spending money, and even IF you spend money. The cost to upgrade clubs is prohibitive, the wind and ball movement are about as inconsistent as the worst mini golf out there, and frequently you play bots. You will spend weeks in stage 11, longer in stage 12...and forget about KIngdom and tournaments, because it is all a crapshoot. You will be matched with players with thousands of games/trophies. Don’t take it seriously at all, because this company is running a criminal enterprise...I am not alone! Read ALL the reviews...there might be 100 people in the WORLD that are not on their blacklist. Chances are you won’t be one of them. It will infuriate you more than you know. I am speaking from vast experience and much $$ invested and lost. I could show you evidence of fraud, tampering, fixing, whatever you want to call it. It is the quintessential example of what is to come of internet pvp gaming if WE allow it and support it. Please do not support this game or company. Play golf clash...learn how to play...at least that game makes some sense! You have been warned!

Crappy Golf Clash rip-off. If you want to play it, like I do, to help remind myself that Golf Clash is just a game, then download it. That’s the difference, night and day. Golf Clash is a game that’s so good that I spend quite a bit of money on. This game, Golf rival, was an apparent rip of Golf Clash. It’s mixed with elements of Golf Clash, with a cartoonish feel the rest of the way thru. Very very poor graphics and it’s something I will open and play when I lose in Golf Clash, to remind myself that it’s just a game. Because this feels like a kids game, whereas Golf Clash, you tend to forget it’s a game, invoking emotions and feelings as if you’re physically playing a sport. This game, in time, with major changes, could be a decent game. Scrap the cartoon feel, lousy club designs, and no club at all has any ball guide whatsoever to it. Can’t even front spin or back spin a ball. Golf Clash allows both on a basic ball. But lacks sidespin, or power. If you’re gonna rip off Golf Clash guys, do a little better job. I’d never ever drop a dime on this game. Whereas people drop hundreds of dollars on packages regularly on Golf Clash.

Fun Game (for a price). This game is really a lot of fun and does require some attention to detail (like wind speed). The downside is that it’s nearly impossible to keep up with other players if money isn’t paid to play because, those who do pay, upgrade their clubs far faster than normal and have countless trick balls in their inventory. Trying to compete with players who spend a lot of money leaves those who don’t at an unfair disadvantage. Last, I really do wish people would learn how to play the game without always using a special ball. I see countless players (mostly those who pay to play) use balls to gain distance, for example, only to watch them lob their way through the rest of the course and, ultimately, wind up losing. This game doesn’t require a huge set of skills, but it seems those who have to use a special ball each and every swing are demonstrating how poor they are at the game overall—and that minimizes the fun in an equal challenge; thus, my 4-star rating.

Expensive garbage.. I just got the latest update and while the game remains a terrible rip-off, I can no longer say that it is beautifully designed or that I’d pay $100 to play it without in app purchases. The developers really screwed the pooch on this one. In a single “update”the game became laggy, unpredictable and prone to freezing. They destroyed the games only saving grace. Also, the devs aretroduced random variation to the point where a shot that you’ve mastered during multiple efforts, all of becomes impossible to make. Basically they so stubborn and stupid that they refuse to take a hint from hundreds of players that are as frustrated with this game as I am - just look at the hundreds of negative comments. Do yourself a favor: save your money and save yourself from frustration. Delete this overhyped piece of garbage.

They REALLY want your money. I’ve been playing this for over a year now (I’m stubborn). I’ve made my way pretty high up in the levels in that time through shear perseverance. The game is designed to strongly encourage you to spend money to get loot boxes. I have some decent clubs. You are usually (not always) matched up with someone with higher club levels than you which puts you at a serious disadvantage. When I had a level 4 Bat Driver I was usually matched against players with level 5 Drivers. I finally was able to get my Bat Driver up to level 5 and for about 2 weeks I was matched with other level 5 players. Well that season ended and now I’m being regularly matched up with players that have level 7 and even a couple of level 8 drivers. That’s B.S. and has pretty much killed the game for me. Add to that the trade up system for your lower tier clubs for higher tier units that has gotten so damned expensive that there is no point in even trying it. It’s flat out cheaper to use your winnings to buy the level up cards than to bother with trading.

It had potential. Very fun to begin with. Then special clubs and too easy putting ruins it. By the Tim you hit level 5 or 6 most of your games will end in a tie. A 30’ putt is a gimme, so beating your opponent closer to the hole is pointless. A few more levels and paid clubs ignore sand trap debuffs. Plus, even though it’s impossible to drive a ball into the hole from the air with a three wood, this is a thing in this game. In real golf you’d have the ball fall short and roll into the hole, because a high speed ball hitting the lip of the cup would bounce off. Lastly, it shows your opponent where you are aiming and what spin you are pointing on the ball. They also get to watch your guidelines, so going second is a HUGE advantage. If you figure out the perfect place to aim for with the wind, they just copy. The tie breaking shoot out doesn’t even let the person closest to the cup before the last shot go second. Very frustrating.

Goods and bars. First, the goods. The game is fun to play, particularly when your opponent is about the same experience level as you are and has roughly the same equipment. I like that I can analyze what I'm doing with an eye toward improving and then see the improvement. Now the bads. It's really frustrating to get matched with opponents that have hundreds or almost thousands of experience points higher than your level. Not only do they know a lot more, they have the kinds of equipment that can leave the more novice player in the dust and thinking why bother. (And yes, I know that I could pay some money to upgrade my gear, but I don't have lots of money to spend on a video game.) Also, the platform is really bad about crashing. This game crashes more than all the other games I have combined. It drives me crazy to be on the verge of a particularly satisfying win only to have the **** screen go blank.

Program errors and connection issues make it impossible to play this game. If I could give this game MINUS 5 stars, that still wouldn’t be a bad enough score to reflect how terrible the programming is for this game. On almost every single game, the game bugs out and makes it nearly impossible to actually play because you have only a few seconds (or less) to try to line up a shot since the clock keeps running while the game disconnects you. Then, when you try to get the necessary gems or other items to progress by watching their stupid ads, you waste all this time to watch the ad only to have the game short out and not register that you watched it, so you end up watching two or three ads (or the same dumb ad 2-3 times) just to get one item. This is some of the worst, most buggy, programming I have ever encountered in a game. Conveniently, the game never seems to bug out when it’s taking your money though. Don’t waste your time on this garbage. It is a total waste of time, money, and sanity. This is quite simply the worst game ever.

Why …. Look I know it’s just a game but do you as the developer realize that it’s just a game ?…see I’ve started to notice a pattern with all these games a lot of us spend hours many in most cases and that’s when the pattern emerges easy lower levels then increase in difficulty fair enough .but it’s not fair is it mr developer? You have rigged the game even worse it cheats. now There are any number of reasons for devs to this I’m not concerned with the why I want it to stop …stop wasting my valuable time and money . It is unethical it’s the same as stealing …you become no better then a common criminal by do ing this I know games are business to make money and that’s fine but when your robbed it’s usually over in seconds but to waste peoples time hooking them to a game.. to an unbeatable game that intentionally cheats to gouge people out of cash to buy fake animated items and fake currency in the hopes of winning your stupid game is unconscionable and cruel ..so sleep good in your fancy house that we paid for I don’t want a monetary refund I want my time back.

I have been playing for years and unfortunately I have two main accounts because a year or so ago my main account would not except coins what should I have a lot of money wrapped up in till by buying their dealing in monthly options. So I had to start up a new account I am been doing very good very fun game with the same thing happen again they said you up with some dummy account and start from the beginning they have no use for. All my coins are going to a dummy account they want me to spend more money to start all over again and I lose all my progress. Like I stated this happened twice I am myself thousand dollars and the bastard is this is my enjoyment he say I’m not wasting money, i’m a disabled man can I live my life in bed so this is my entertainment. Matching players could use some work. The game is fun and kind of addictive. It’s great when players, and their equipment, are evenly matched. It’s the equipment matching where it fails. I realize the matching algorithm must be rather complex. That said it doesn’t always do a good job. I would guess a third to half of my matches I end up facing someone with clubs 2-4 levels higher than mine. That’s a huge advantage. Rarely am I matched with someone where my clubs are that superior. It’s really frustrating when another player can make a shot you have no chance of making solely because they have better clubs. Update - Just dropped another star after playing in the Albatross Arena. After a week of jostling with other players of similar clubs and abilities another player that had been sitting on the sidelines began to play. With clubs 4-5 levels higher than everyone else (based on my clubs and how evenly others seemed to be matched) they quickly won out several holes and took over the rest. Frustrating and a waste of my time and the others in the arena. I replayed some of his holes and there’s no way I can compete.

Has great potential, but horrible matchmaking etc.. This game is BY FAR THE MOST GREEDY GAME IN EXISTENCE! They literally try to make you buy stuff every single day, for ridiculous prices, then no matter what it isn’t worth the price they charge. Seriously this is the worst “freemium” game I have EVER encountered. theyI played this game up to level 15, and the whole time it felt like it could be a great game, but it punishes skill. There are a few ways in how it does that. First off if you advance too fast you get to the point where no amount of skill can win against players with much higher level clubs. I thought maybe it was a freemium game. So I bought some season passes, some balls, and some wolf chests etc. however EVERY single time I bought anything on the game it left me with buyers remorse. The “random chests” are not random. They have odds stacked against giving decent cards. The devs try to say they have no control. Which is a blatant lie. They also have blocked EVERY review I have left of the game. Proving further that they are up to no good. Stay away from this game. It is cheaper to play real golf.

I’m with everyone else.... This game is a bi$&@. I can’t stand it. And I’m not just a whiny baby about losing. What really is annoying is that unless you spend a boatload of money, you’re never going to get anywhere that you want. People with less trophies than you can just spend hundreds of dollars and beat you. The matchups are all random, and often times the game will do its best to make sure that you don’t go on a winning streak. 90% of the cards you receive, will be for clubs you will never use. There’s only a handful of clubs that are worth upgrading, but there’s 90 clubs. The game tricks you into spending a lot of money so that you can win. But even when you spend money, the game will put you up against better opponents so that you still will lose. And on top of that, the Kingdom knocks you back ranks every month, so you start over. It’s very frustrating. I guarantee you that you will be frustrated on several occasions throughout playing the game. But, don’t take my word from it. Play...you will see. But don’t say you weren’t warned
