Old app worked with Apple Watch. I have a 2020 Evoque and wanted to use the app with my Apple Watch. This version did not work with the watch, but the older inControl App does work for the watch. The Orientation person set me up with this version and said the other was worthless - apparently he didn’t see my watch nor ask. And now I have both apps- inControl and Remote and not sure if I really need both. Sometimes the remote start doesn’t respond on the new app which is annoying in the FL summer.

Very disappointing. The fact that after three years Land Rover requires a subscription to an app that works about 50% of the time is a stain on the Land Rover reputation. I live in a very cold climate and need to warm up my car. About half the time the app tells me my. Car is not secure, and therefore can’t start up. Currently it’s telling me I have a window open, which is not correct. Compared to very low cost cars that can start from the key chain, this is really not acceptable from what is considered a luxury brand. I own a defender and a discovery and they are great cars, but this situation is a source of constant frustration.

Rarely works when it wants to.. Never works when I need it. Talked to Land Rover dealership and they couldn’t even find or log into my acccount which didn’t make sense as I was able to log into my phone through it. App/software is trash! You think with all the money we are paying for these cars they would take some to focus on fixing it!!!! Useless remote start!

Use it near daily & works fine for me. I use the app almost daily for remote start and to check fuel, locks, etc. The remote starts works 95% of the time. If it didn’t start or if I’m having other problems with the app, I can assume it has to do with the bad cell service in my area. I do wish that I could control the heated seats/steering wheel and windows from within the app.

I can’t believe I had to pay for this service. App is very buggy and has also successfully locked me out of my vehicle on two occasions where I had to get road side assistance to break into the car. Spent hours on thePhone with the app tech-support, only to have them to promise to contact me back with a solution. They never called. Everything about this is a disappointment.

Unacceptable remote start lock out. The remote start automatically stops after a certain amount of time, that’s fine. What’s not fine is that you will be unable to use it again until you drive the car. My car doors have been frozen for two days, I couldn’t even use the remote start to defrost the doors. Absolutely unacceptable. The car is literally stuck in my driveway and I’ve had to drop/pick up my wife to/from work for 2 days and possibly more.

App issues. Not sure as to why my car keeps saying it’s unlocked several time I have had to go outside and double check because the app isn’t loading properly and even starts the car on its own. Have your techs and engineers look into this issue they already replaced the module on my vehicle and the whole electrical harness and I purchased. My vehicle brand new in 2021. This vehicle with this brand and caliber should that’s so many computer issues and faults.

Works great for me!. I don’t understand why all these reviews talk about how bad this app is, I haven’t had a single issue once Landrover set it up for me. Like another reviewer mentioned make sure that Landrover sets up the account, when they called me and I was setting it up my vehicle I had to goto my vehicle and I tested each button. Started with the SOS I pushed it and talked to make sure I had a connection did the same with the service bottom. I use the app the start up the Landrover and heat up the cabin before I go some where use it to lick the doors and if I forget to lock it I get a message on my phone that my vehicle isn’t locked.

Waste of money. There’s is so many problems with the app. 70% of the time it’s not working. I renewed the app thinking it would be great but I won’t be renewing it again. Auto start should be included with buying such an expensive luxury car. My husbands Chevy Silverado comes with it included. It just feels like a huge scam. Mercedes works better than this. Customer service is worthless as well and over all I will never buy another Range Rover and I will be telling people how horrible my experience has been. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO WITH SOMETHING ELSE. LAND ROVER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Will not heat the seats. The most important thing about starting the car in a cold climate is being able to heat the ice cold leather seats. Even if the engines is not throwing any heat but your seat is warm, you will be much more comfortable. This car and this app will not let you warm the seats! If we are having zero degree weather outside, even if you remote start your car for 20-30 minutes, the seats will still be ice cold! I guess the Land Rover engineers carry a heated garage everywhere they go!

Disappointed remote start in freezing cold. This app is moody sometimes working to heat up my car and most of the time is not working, I have to cross my fingers every time in freezing cold weather hopefully I can heat up my car make it warm before step out of my house unfortunately I got disappointed a lot, I want to cry every time , unacceptable. Range Rover doesn’t have the start up the car in the key no option, it so bad never again Range Rover cars

New Defender Remote is Awesome!!. I didn’t trust this new app for the longest time, I always used the old one. I downloaded it and the interface is a ton better and it works a lot better than the old version. There’s nothing like starting your vehicle from another state or when it just snowed outside! As long as you use it every other day there is no issue, I have noticed when the Rover is in “sleep mode” the app doesn’t work, but that makes total sense. Thanks Land Rover!

Why is this app this way?. What is the problem? Why hasn’t this app been redesigned and brought up to speed with the caliber of Land Rover’s reputation? I purchased a luxury vehicle and the app that controls it is less than a Dollar Store’s quality. At least once after using the app, the computer system in my vehicle needed to go back to the dealer to be reprogrammed. I used the app to unlock the doors and wasn’t able to lock them afterwards - no matter what I did. That visit cost me a few hundred dollars. I just used the app - with a significant delay - to lock and unlock the doors. Each time it did not register accurately (it said the doors weren’t unlocked when they were and vice versa). This is a really poor experience. I think we deserve to have a properly working app, don’t you?

Land Rover Pp. Piece of CRAP! After a service went to sleep mode can’t come back. Like everything Land Rover the dealership is at a loss on how to fix it. I love the Vehicle but the service has completely underperformed and is way over priced for not knowing anything. They have NOT in the past 2 years and 8 months performed ONE satisfactory service or repair. Going back to Mercedes. Just not worth the hassle. I’m gonna loose money, but does not matter at this point there is no value. Oh, Land Rover USA does not communicate with its owners either. Complete Fail!

No remote start?. I appreciate that a watch app has been released. It needs a remote start though. Don’t have much use for a lock/unlock/beep, from my wrist. My Lincoln Way app for Apple Watch has remote start and all the same features as the phone app. This is a step in the right direction but not quite there yet. Thank you for listening!

Updated App Much Better. Bravo! Whoever worked on the updated app did a good job. The remote always worked fine for me before, but this app is faster and much more user friendly. Gives more details in trips, which I used all of the time for work-related mileage reports.

I’d give 0 starts if I could. This is the most useless app! It never works, I can’t even sign up for the subscription bc it says a vin isn’t set up under my email…even though it is. Even had someone at Land Rover help me set it up. So now I’m driving around in. $50k car that doesn’t even have a remote start. This company makes so much money and it blows my mind that they can’t afford to have a functioning app or have Key fobs that allow you to remote start. And it shows how much they really care about their customers given the low ratings and the thousands of customers that can’t use the app and they do NOTHING about it. Really considering trading my Velar in and going with a different make. Pathetic.

Land Rover Should Be Ashamed. This is the worst app I’ve ever used. Remote start is standard for pretty much every car. You’d think when you get up into luxury vehicles, they’d nail it. NOT Land Rover. There’s no option on the key fob, just the useless app. If your windows are cracked, or your sunroof vented, or you live in the country & don’t lock your doors, or the app just isn’t “connecting,” this car won’t remote start. Want to lock/unlock from the app because you left the key inside your +$100k car? NOPE! Enjoy standing in the rain, you fool, while the “request fails” & you stand staring in your window looking at the key…. My Sport needed a software update (despite buying it from a Land Rover dealer) for the app to work at all. Now that it “does,” the designers & engineers of this product should be embarrassed. This app is more glitchy & less reliable than the Weather Channel. Just assume Land Rover doesn’t come with remote start & call it a day.

Coming up short. Decent app as far as the layout and functionality goes. It’s been hit or miss for me if it’s going to work or not. I like the status page and the ability to start the engine (when it’s working) but I’m hoping the ability to global close the windows in my defender on the APP would become available since I can’t do it from the actual FOB even tho the option is in the PIVI.

Terrible. I’d give this app zero stars if I could. It automatically logs out every single time I close the app. Every Single time it asks if I want to use Face ID and every single time I say yes. Face ID hasn’t worked once. It takes at least 3 tries to get it to actually start my car, and that’s only if it works at all. With the amount of money JLR charges for their luxury level cars, you’d think they would pour some money into the app. I was hoping for an update that would fix the issues at some point, but it’s been almost a year and the app is still horrible.

Convenient App. This app is very convenient. I’m in my 20s and have no problem with the app. I have a 2021 Rover and love that this app can control locking/unlocking, remote start(with or without key fob), climate control, service updates, live tracking, range info, security info. The bad reviews are just impatient older people not very tech savvy since it’s usually older people who buy Rovers & who expect to have their way lol overall I love the app!

I have owned 8 rovers and been good to date. This feature works well but you need to remember that after 3 days of non activity, it cannot run all the features remotely just THE SAME like the other auto manufacturers/brands. You just need to understand technology evolves and software updates have to be ran and you have to do your part and agree on the on screen prompts. This will avoid issues PERIOD.

Day and Night from the previous version. I’ve been using the older Remote app for a while now and it not the most intuitive experience. The UI itself doesn’t really represent Land Rover very well. This new remote app is 1000 times better. I am so glad that Land Rover finally updated this! The new UI is so clean and represents the brands so well. From the graphics and intuitive design. The information on it is more precise and actually gives me the exact location of the vehicle. I’m really excited to start using it more often.

Great car, useless app. I LOVE my Defender. So much so that my kids are tiring of me saying so. But this app is terrible. It’s slow to react, slow to connect and is often wrong with the GPS coordinates of the car when it’s parked. It’s hit an miss on if it will connect. It has also often shown that the car was unlocked when it wasn’t. The GUI also needs to be more intuitive - shouldn’t be that hard to figure out. Please get some folks/resources that know how to develop an app that works - for an $80k car you’d think this would be well funded enough to do.

This application is horrible. This app is garbage!! Tried to start my car and wouldn’t work. Then I attempted to unlock the doors and I wouldn’t unlock. Went to the next location and could no longer lock my doors at all. I called roadside assistance and they were no help. Then I went to the dealership and they changed key fob battery, nothing. They took it to the back only to come back and say that the vehicle showed no issues and the it must be the app. I was told just to uninstall the application and hopefully it fixes itself.

For a high end vehicle I expect a better app. Really not impressed with this app. Remote start rarely works, remote lock and unlock almost never work and now I’m getting false readings of the door is open or windows down so it won’t even attempt to remote start. This is on a 2020 Evoque. Come on Land Rover and get this app functioning correctly. My daughter has a Ford Escape and works better for half the price. Please work on this and get it fixed. Oh and add features such as Apple Watch etc.

App works well for me. Version 1 and 2 of the remote app has always worked fine for me. Mine was set up by the dealership so possibly that’s why it has never been a problem. Remote start and unlocking have been very reliable and I use it to start my car up every day after work. I like the look of version 2.

No issues on my end. From what I can tell by the reviews, many seem to be one star for petty reasons. I have no issues. The remote works great, am able to the status of my windows, locks etc. minus one star because the app could be just a little faster when communicating with my 2020 Evoque.

Deteriorated after a few years. Wow. when i bought this car, the app worked perfectly, and was an included feature of car functionality. Fast forward a few years and these dummies have put a ridic subscription model in the way of basic functions laity that is expected in cars now. Remote start isn’t a luxury in the Boston area, but now requires a sub that will likely be a pita down the road. Love how my SUV handles and drives but the tech needs a real overhaul.

Made a believer out of me at least..... Was skeptical after reading everyone's reviews after I bought my LR DS. After an annoying setup process and waiting for verification email, the app is great as a security device. I've had no issues with locking /unlocking /remote start/etc. and the Guardian alert system is awesome. Might amend review at later date if things take a turn but this was definitely not a 2.2 app (app store rating as of this review date).

So disappointing. It’s a bummer to spend so much money on a car and yet not be able to utilize software affiliated with it. When this app works, it’s great! I love it, appreciate it, and TRY to use it daily, however it fails more often than not. Despite utilizing all troubleshooting techniques, it doesn’t remain consistent with proper operation. For example, the app claims that it last connected to my car six days ago and will not adjust any settings because it is in driving mode. Meanwhile, it is sitting in my driveway. It’s frustrating and again disappointing given the cost of the car.

The worst app. This app never works. This is hands down the worst app for any vehicle ever. Being a luxury brand of cars such as Land Rover I would figure they would spend time to atleast make sure that the app that actually is supposed to open and start their vehicle actually works. Always just say reconnecting and never updates and will tell you your car is in sleep mode and locked and parked literally as your driving it. Land Rover should be ashamed

It works great. If your car doesn’t get internet of course it won’t work. Dumb RR drivers. Folks. This is a solid app. It works fine. IF your RR doesn’t connect to wireless internet which is an issue with almost any car, then of course the app won’t be updated or work consistently. The app is excellent it’s better than my app on three other car brands. One day all cars will get consistent internet wireless service and their apps will rock. Even a Tesla with poor reception in the garage not connected to WiFi will have a poor app experience. I use this app all the time and it’s great. It takes a few seconds to a minute to connect to the car if reception is poor. I use it to cool the car a few minutes before I leave in the hot summer

Horrible, to put it nicely.. Easily the worst app I have on my phone. For spending $100+ for a year so I can have remote start and checking on my car while away from it, this is the worst app. It hardly connects to my car, will be delayed when it does. I cannot use the remote start because the app will say the car is driving so I can’t even attempt it. Horrible. For luxury cars, and how expensive they are, you’d figure that the brand would have a top-tier app. Two thumbs down 👎👎

Terrible remote start. I’ve had my Range Rover Sport for 4 years and the remote start has consistently been terrible. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. It only works half the time, and even when it works, it takes forever to connect to the vehicle so you end up waiting a few minutes jus to find out whether it worked. And sometimes, it’ll say the remote start failed and I go outside to start my car manually and it’s running. Tried contacting Land Rover and they told me to update my vehicle. Except that my vehicle doesn’t have any updates and this issue isn’t new. They need to admit they know this app is terrible and they aren’t motivated to fix it because we’ve already paid for the car. Can’t emphasize enough how bad this app is. It’s the only bad thing I can say about my car, but I still won’t buy another one because it’s such a pain.

Feature suggestion. I love the ability to remote start and lock the car. It would be great if you could also turn on the heated seat and steering wheel remotely. One issue with the app is that it logs you out any time there is an update. From a security standpoint, this makes sense but it would be nice if the app could store and auto fill the password with Apple password manager.

Terrible. I had the old Land Rover app and loved it. I was able to check on my cars location, lock the doors, and remote start it. For some reason I was forced to switch to this one. I can no longer do anything. Any time I try to remote lock it just fails. It only makes contact and updates data from my car about every 5 days (or longer). This app is pointless. I want my old version back! I used it all the time and it was super helpful. The new one is worthless.

App is amazing, everyone is crazy or stupid. The app works great, zero issues, quick easy set up, flawless use, I’m absolutely loving it. I don’t know what is wrong with everyone else but I feel bad for Land Rover for the negative reviews because they made an awesome app. Maybe they had higher hopes for people to not be dumb.. alas. Great job, Land Rover! And trust me people, the app WORKS GREAT! Not only does it remote start from anywhere and set the climate, you can locate your car, lock, unlock, beep/flash lights, track journeys and more. It’s way BETTER than just a button on a remote. I could not be happier.

Dont buy a land rover. This app is junk - my $100k defender goes into sleep mode after 4 days and the app will not “wake up.” My app reminded me to lock my car which the keys were left inside it. Now after 4 days the app can not connect to the car bc it wasnt started in 4 days. Im dealing with LR roadside and they also are a joke - they have sent 2 different tow trucks to come get my defender with no luck. So now a locksmith got into my defender - it erases the key inside. Now has to be towed to Lr to get reprogrammed. Hopefully you read this before you sign your papers - I wish I did

2 service spots and PROBLEMS!!. I have my dream car but it is not a dream! There was a recal they did the work, and my sub won’t keep a connection for the Apple CarPlay, I just had breaks done , tire rotation, and a key replaced on my fob, and book my car won’t unlock, won’t start through this apo. This app did work but stopped since battery changed. Phieler did let me know there is an update and some of us will be having trouble. This is scary not knowing when the software will work or not, I pray Jesus “please Father work out this software issue for us quickly” Disappointed Iwner

A Disappointment. There is nothing good to say about this app. You would think a brand like Land Rover would provide quality and function at a high level like their brand demands of their vehicles but not on this app. If you try to start the vehicle it says it’s already running, if you try to lock/unlock it gives you errors. It works 10% of the time, maybe. Completely missed the mark, this is absolute trash.

The app isn’t the problem... This app works flawlessly on my 2022 Defender. It’s not the apps fault that your sales person or delivery specialist couldn’t trouble shoot this for you. One thing you can do to make sure it works, is have the store set up the account. They will then send you an email to reset your password. Once you reset, then click sign in. If you create an account before hand it causes problems.

Worthless 1000 times. Land Rover makes it difficult to contact their support. The website is deliberately engineered to frustrate. This app is really poorly engineered and they don’t bother to collect feedback, review error logs or make any type of iterative fixes. The app can go down for a week without Land Rover doing anything. The app will periodically falsely report that the vehicle is in low power mode which means you cannot auto start. In a nut shell it dies not function as advertised abs there are no fixes or avenue to communicate. This brand is full of hubris.

Deserves a better rating. This app deserves 5 stars has always worked for me this past year love the new look- car starts and location updates every time even texts a notification now if I forgot to lock doors!

Worthless. I purchased a brand new 2020 Land Rover Range Rover sport in one of the big sales benefits was bragging about the auto start being on an app instead of on your key remote. I have a home in northern Minnesota where it’s cold so I like to use the auto start to warm my vehicle and I have a home in southern Florida where I like to have it be able to be air-conditioned before getting in it so of course it was a big feature for me. I was able to use the App to lock my vehicle and leave it running in Minnesota but when I came back the app would not work to open it. I spent days dealing with roadside assistance and Land Rover and neither of them would pay for having to break apart at the side of my vehicle in order to get into it because I was in a rural area roadside assistance wouldn’t back it up and Land Rover wouldn’t stand behind their app that dysfunctiononed. Now I’m back in Florida and have tried to start my vehicle with the app multiple times and it absolutely will not work and says their software is down and when I have made phone calls they apologize that the app has not been as successful as they had hoped. I will definitely not be buying another Land Rover because of this and will be going back to Porsche!!!

It works. The app is fine. It has always connected and worked to lock/unlock and remote start. What I don’t get is why the old app had support for Apple Watch and this new version of the app doesn’t. Seems like an oversight I would like to see corrected.

Not functional. This NEW app is so bad. When using the older version I never had any problems. now with this new app it takes forever to load and never starts my car or unlock it and I can’t use any of the features, it’s just horrible. This is one of the features that I loved about LandRover, was to not have to have the key to start it.I would have given it zero stars but of course that’s not an option.

Terrible App! Doesn’t work.. This app stinks, frankly. Expect WAY better given the level of these vehicles. Was told by my dealer to upload it as the “new & improved” version. NOT! About 90% of the time I try to remote-start my vehicle, it says things like it’s In Use (not); Doors Are Unlocked (not); Windows Are Down (not); Too Many Previous Attempts (zero), and other bizarre, wholly inaccurate things. It’s also supposed to specify the location of my vehicle, and it often says it’s somewhere other than parked at my home, while I’m looking at it, wait for it, parked at my home.

Works pretty well. At least for my 2022 Discovery this app works pretty well. You have to wait a minute for it to update the car’s status sometimes and also change tabs back and forth to refresh, but at least it works and helps you find your car and make sure it’s locked too.

Tarnishes the Land Rover brand. Used across 3 different iPhone versions, all buggy, all said I still needed service or some error with my Velar even right after getting it back from annual services. Often says my car is unavailable so defeats point of remote start. Who even uses Native navigation and all the things they are trying to push? Use Apple or Google maps and actually have it work and be up to date. They want me to pay $300 for a mediocre at best, when it even works, subscription renewal? I thought the $98k I paid for the car would cover that. My friend’s $20k Nissan Rogue remote start works more consistently and has no annual fee. I could understand if it was staying ahead of the market but LR is lagging hard. If this is the company direction they lost my next car purchase for being penny wise but pound foolish.

Useful application. Use Remote Control application quite often. It provides information about technical conditions of the car which is terrific feature. Remote access to the doors, climate control are very useful. Tracking of the journeys is also great. Saved me from being dodged into scam asking me to pay for the toll road which I checked and found that I was not driving at that time via this road.

More functions plz. Coming from the leader of electric car, you guys must take their app and do the same functions and app UI We need shortcuts widgets and remote start so i I can open and start my RRS without the FoB

When is the watch version coming?. Still waiting for the watch version which I used more frequently than the phone to remotely start the car.

App no longer connects to car. I used to love this app but it no longer connects to the car and gives a timed out or error message. What have the app developers done to break the app? It’s useless to me now.

Sensor Light (works randomly 😝). Looks good, but performance does not match looks. Randomly updates, ie sometimes it does, sometimes not, even just after locking car. The DEF quantity never updates. A useful additional function would be the capability to close windows, if one is shown as open on the status page.

I can’t find a way to set a default, Car.. I have two Land Rovers. Each time I go into the application. It has returned to the car that I don’t usually drive. I would like to know if there is a way to set the default car, or at least change it. They seem to Display in the order and which they were added.I’m reluctant to remove then re-add the cars as I had have some problems in the past. I tried sending an email to the Support link from the application. That email bounced. I suspect you need to update your Support email link.

For God's sake add a chime when exceeding speed limit. Its so bizzare that a market leader doesn't have a functionality as basic as a sound chime when exceeding speed limit. All you see is a red circle which doesn't attract any attention. Pls add a chime which could just be a opt-in thing. People who don't want it don't need to opt-in and will notice no change. This is available in every other navigation system in the world.

No iwatch Version. My wife regularly used the iwatch app to lock the car at the beach. It frustrating that we have lost this feature… When are you putting it back….

Great app. Great app but unfortunately lacks support for apple watch and the old app is no longer available. Is watch support coming?

Status - No Issues Hmmm. So my Land Rover Discovery 5 MY17 has been breaking down quite a bit and even though the engine light is currently on, it says ‘Status - No issues’ on the apps home page. Seems like you’re poking fun at me LD.

Connectivity issues. Never connects through to my car to start airflow.

Idea’s great, execution isn’t... Hit and miss with status on my Velar. And for about 2 months app hasn’t updated a single journey so if cars stolen the apps useless 🤷🏼‍♂️

Remote access. Love this app however with the upgraded version I can no longer access my car on my Apple Watch- I could with the old version. Can you please advise or create an update so I can use it via my watch.

Don’t upgrade if you have the old version and a smart watch!. JLR released a new version of the LandRover app, but users had to keep use the old version as the latest/ current version didn’t seem to have the Apple Watch integration…. The old version and extended features and benefits no longer work. Start, open, lock, etc from watch was useful if doing water sports or other activities where carrying a smart phone was unwise or activities likely and as portrayed in a Land Rover lifestyle/Advertising. (I was told at purchase, I would not need the activity key as I could use the watch app)… This was a feature that was available at, and influenced my Range Rover Sport purchase in 2019 and I also extended and paid the JLR connected Pro Services and Remote Premium… Will you be adding Apple Watch functionality back in? It would continue to be Very disappointing if you don’t.

Awful. Never seems to work. Can’t even log in or reset a password.

Bad experience. Trying to leave my opinion to everyone. Land Rover, special InControl assistance is the worst experience for me. Pay high price and get nothing. People that work in this company is not well trained and leave you with the problem with no answers. Every person I contact they told me different story. 3 assistance told me that I have remote function and 4th person told me that my vehicle don’t have it.

Doesn’t work half the time. Once your free subscription ends be wary before you decide to renew and PAY$$….as for a week now it hasn’t been working at all. This happened also under the free subscription, but it was free so it was more an annoyance than anything. When your paying for a service and it doesn’t work….we’ll that’s juts called being scammed!!

Good to see vehicle status. I thoughtbthis app was very useful for vehicle status and monitoring.

Garbage App - Rarely Works. Consistent issues with requests timing out. The functions work about 20% of the time.

Just terrible. For such an expensive vehicle, this app is quite terrible. I love my Range Rover but this app just does not do the vehicle any justice. Embarrassing really. I would love for my experience to be complete by Land Rover fixing this damn app already. It’s been a few years now…

Account not recognized. The app was working great up until now. Everytime I go to start my car, the app for some reason logs me out and makes me log back. But upon logging, I get an error message saying there are no vehicles registered to this email and signs me out… super frustrating not being able to start my car especially in the cold weather. The app works as normal the following day after. This glitch needs to be fixed. Never had issues like this with the old version of this app.

New App doesn’t work,. The previous app worked remarkably. Now I cannot connect to my vehicle to lock it, when I standing in the garage next to it. If it possible have the other app available, while your correcting the issue with the updated version? Remote start is almost mandatory through a Canadian winter, not freezing while your vehicle is warming up. Please fix this feature!

Worst App. This has got to be the worst app ever. It always seems to fail just when you need it the most.

The app doesn’t work with Apple watch. This app doesn’t work with Apple which which is falsely claimed by the developer that it works with Apple watch.

Disappointing. You would think Landriver would ensure it’s remote app would have high standards seeing as how they class themselves as a high end 4 wheel drive vehicle manufacturer. This app is horrible. I have to sign in continuously. The remote start has trouble connecting most of the time. Do better Landriver 🙄

What a joke!. You would think after paying for a Range Rover that you could rely on their services such as an app. Unfortunately this is not the case. Today i went to open the app and it’s telling me i no longer have a vehicle registered. So embarrassing for a company like Land Rover!

Found our stolen car. Note sure why Range Rover is not sharing this information with its owners. We recently had our new Range Rover stolen from our driveway. They ripped out the SOS tracking, but we were able to track it with this app. We also had guardian mode activated so we knew when it was being stolen. The thieves were surprised seeing as they thought they only needed to rip out the unit and no one would find the car.

the worst app I have come across. app is full of bugs , car never from the first try and now everyone I open it it says no vehicles are registered to this account. it needs to be fixed asap

Never works. Sad that you buy such an expensive vehicle and you can have remote start . Wish I had of known of this when I bought the defender. Fix the issues landrover.

No unlock function?. Where is the button to remotely unlock? Great function when you need to get something from the vehicle and the keys aren’t close by.

This app is a joke. It works one time and doesn’t 10 times. If you delete this app and don’t tell your client that you have such a feature is better than having such a disappointing feature.

Brutal. Subscription lapsed and now can’t access anything. Tried to renew but have no options. For the hundreds of dollars you charge, this app should be top tier but it’s disappointing just like the vehicles

Terrible App. Honestly this app is a pure garbage doesn’t even deserves one star. It has a lots of issues. You name one and it has it. The worst one is it logs you out every time for no reason. Now am have doubts about tech teams credibility? Do they just take customer for granted?

Absolutely ridiculous negative stars if I could. I just spent north of $130k for a RR Sport HSE Dynamic. I live where we get 6 months of winter. The heater blower doesn’t even function when you start the vehicle on the remote. The heated seats don’t come on nor does the steering wheel. The later two I can begrudgingly live with but when the side windows are not even clear of frost because the heater is not blowing warm air it’s absolutely maddening. For that reason alone I cannot stand this vehicle and the sheer ridiculousness of it!! Was totally mislead by 3 different people at the dealership when I specifically asked if it had a remote start. Why would I even ask if not for having a warm vehicle to get in?

Remote starter rarely works. Remote start gives you a hard time. The car never starts at first attempt. Needs to be fixed asap!

Very Poor App. Land Rover - do you not see what your customers are writing? Constructive feedback. Very Laggy. Unresponsive. Just build remote start into the key fob already.

Out dated. Complete failure of app never works when you need it. It worked for a week on and off then it stopped working. Customer service agent(cant really call them that, maybe just agent) walked me through different things to do to my car to get the app to connect spent about 40 minutes. After that it was escalated to another tech. After a few days spoke to initial agent who simply just said its because my cars tcu is not up to date. Asked for a refund and it was denied since it was after the 14 days( it was actually on day 18) but even though i started process before the 14 days.

Horrible. This app is annoying , waki no up to see your account has been signed out and unlocked , theirs sooo many bugs it’s ridiculous! The constant signing out is annoying and finding the app being faulty is annoying as well. Definitely will not be using this once my free trial is up .

Rarely works.. I have been to the dealership multiple times for them to confirm the app isn’t connecting to the vehicle. They also confirm it’s not an issue with the vehicle, but rather the app that has consistent issues. Horrible they only allow you to remote start the vehicle via an app rather than a physical button, yet it doesn’t work.

Total POS. As someone who creates digital Products for a living I can tell you with 100% certainty that this app is pure hot garbage. First of all, it never works. Logging in is a total disaster which you have to do each time. The few times I’ve had it work, he UI and UX are so terrible that it is incredibly frustrating. You pay 100k for a car and you get this useless app.

Land Rover keeps missing the mark. You always wonder when heads will roll at Land Rover? How you can take the simple functionality of an app with one feature that every other vehicle has, which is a remote start and complicate it, is entirely beyond me. Press and hold? How about just a quick press button to start the damn vehicle. Honestly, there's no improvement in this app from the last one. What the hell are you guys doing?

Remote start. Honestly this app reserves 2 stars because it will not start my car. Doesn’t matter if I’m 10 metered away or less than 1, my car will not start. This app has horrible connection issues and it should be fixed because I did not spend my money on this app for my car to not start

Works 20% of the time. Incredibly frustrating. Better to go outside and start the car instead of fiddling with the app for 10+ mins.

Useless. App stopped working after 2 days of use.

Not reliable or consistent overall. The UI for this app is old and outdated, looks like something from circa 2014. The biggest problem though is how unreliable it is - remote start works only about 60% of the time. It sometimes just won’t start or times out for no reason. Very frustrating experience overall.

Terrible app, need to login every time. Every time I open the app it says, our server is down and we are trying to fix it. Need to login every time before using it. This much big company and poor service doesn’t match. What’s the reason to pay for your service if it doesn’t work.

Useless App. It would be faster and more effective if I just ran out and started the car myself. App constantly times out when locking or starting the car even when 6ft away from the vehicle. Pretty expensive annual fee for a product that rarely works

Please fix this app!. The remote start was a major selling feature for me when deciding to purchase a Land Rover. After spending $60K on a car, it is extremely disappointing that the app doesn’t work properly. It continually logs me out, Face ID doesn’t work, ‘lost confection to server’ and ‘multiple errors’. The remote start works maybe 25% of the time. Please fix the app.

Email Verification. I haven’t even started using the app and already not happy. I have tried multiple times to sign up for this service. I have registered for the app but it never sends me the emailed link to confirm my email to actually get in.

Remote start. You should be able to put seat warmer and steering wheel warmer on remotely.

Does a nice job. Works as described. Very user friendly and responsive. What I would expect from Land Rover.

Bad program. Advises that the vehicle is unlocked when it is indeed locked. Will not start the vehicle, when it used to start remotely. Just had to replace the battery. If this is the technology from Land Rover, this will be the LAST I will own!!!

Disappointed in Update. This app had style and looked good. The new update has made it entirely white (bright at night) and bland. It also takes much longer to load. Very disappointed

Love the new update!. Great refresh to the app! It’s nice to start up your car remotely so it’s nice and warm when you get into your RR!

Remote start. Way to many clicks to get to the remote start and you have to hold it down for way too long. It’s the only reason to even have the app and it’s very inconvenient

App Update Needs Work. I’ve never had issues with the app until this new release. It keeps saying my car is unlocked even after I’ve locked it, and checked all the doors and trunk. It’s annoying!!!

Bad app. Horrible app for a $266,000 car. Shows my windows are always opened. Takes forever to update info or to lock or unlock the car. The user interface could be a lot better.

Needs upgrade. Works great just don’t like the fact if you don’t use the vehicle for a few days you can’t start remotely. Need that feature for parking at airport in winter it defeats the whole purpose of returning to a warm vehicle.

Having App Issues. Norton 360 flags app as an unsafe site & recommend not to open file. Thus, the app itself has a very cartoonish appearance which is comical. This is not what I would expect from a vehicle costing over $70K.

Needs improvement. The sales people don’t tell you you have to restart your car once you get in the car. This feature should be available on the key fob and the car should stay on.

Weather disappeared. After updating, the temperature outside disappeared, I updated the 2020 discovery at the dealership last month and the weather disappeared from the app

Remote control. Control does not seem to allow to set a temperature / comfort change inside the cabin during remote engine operation as controls in the vehicle appear to be disabled during the remote operation. Makes no sense.

Remote start. Would be nicer if you could also start heated steering wheel, heated seats or cooled seats with remote climate.

Good. No problems does what it’s supposed to do. Just wish it would send push notifications for unlocks.

Nope!. Rarely worked. Always said doors were unlocked and when I tried to lock them, said it couldn’t connect. Then to charge $125 when the new car offer expires is just a ripoff. You could put the remote start on the key fob like everyone else does. Really the only bad thing I can say about the vehicle. But is a BIG minus for me

Request. I only i could drive my car using only the application without needing the keys.

Disappointed. When I used to automatically start the car, the heat would turn on. Now it does not so it doesn’t really make all that much sense to even bother. Starting it ahead of time. Please fix this issue.

Review. It’s convenient when it wants to work, and other times. It was request the entire time and then fail. I will have to attempt 3 times prior to it connecting and starting my vehicle.

Climate control. The climate control is horrible. It keeps turning the car off too fast and it doesn't reach desired temperature nor does it tell you what current temperature is inside the vehicle like tesla etc

Needs Work. I would like to see a more dynamic remote. Perhaps a more detailed interface.

Failed. You had the best remote start of all. Now just as bad as the rest of the car maker. Give us back the original remote start options.

Clunky app. Range Rover start app is clunky and rip off since the car had no remote start keyfood option in 2019. The fact they have annual subscription is another Land Rover rip off.

Climate control. For some odd reason my heat doesn’t work when I use the app to start my truck . Not sure why it’s not working . I’ve took my truck in for service for this issue.

Delayed response. The vehicle doesn’t always start up in certain places and it will give you false feedback occasionally

Decent app, a lot of room for improvement. Does your basic turn car on and off, lock and unlock. I expect a lot more from a luxury brand. Kia’s app lets you customize temperature settings, seat setting in the app.

Buggy App. The App serves its purpose but it’s buggy and shuts down at times. The remote start feature should be on the primary screen.

Remote start for my Range Rover Velar. Best to have in the winter before you get ready you can preheat your car before you go out love it

Not all features work. Locking the doors do not work Refreshing when opening the app takes a long time. My Car is a 2023 Defender
