Great app. Love it!

Terrible ultra buggy. App fails bad on iPad Pro, just shows error try again later... ridiculous...

Can’t unlock songs. Paid the yearly subscription, but still can’t unlock songs. No contact info listed either.

Needs to support Vidami. There are 25 other guitar learning platforms that support the Vidami intelligent looper. Vidami allows you to control playback, playback speed, looped playback, etc with a foot pedal. The Mac version of Play Guitar Hits needs to support Vidami before it gets a second look...

Cannot purchase songs anymore. I have not gotten any response from the App developer, App Steel. The app won’t let me purchase any more songs. It wants me to subscribe yearly or monthly only. Please fix the problem with the App. I have purchased many songs over the year. Unless this problem is fixed you will loose customers.

Disappointing. A very simple tablature player, I expected more from Guitar Pro.

Potentially a good app. Some of the tabs for basic songs are good but it seems I need a separate subscription if I wanna use the app both on my iPhone and my Mac.

Weak. Good app if you’ve been playing guitar for half a day.

Almost NO content unless you PAY. This app has almost zero content unless you pay for the in app subscription. I miss when you just had free apps and paid apps. You always knew what you were getting. Now with all of these “free but in-app purchases” nothing is transparent. You have to download multiple apps and hope that you find one of value. If you get use the free version, the only song available was “Happy Birthday” - really? Waste of my time downloading.

What a joke. Terrible. I can’t believe this made it this far. It seems like the instructors are not even musicians. Aweful!!!

Okay, so it's not yet AMAZING, but it's GOOD!. The catalog of songs is not yet very large, but try the free lessons (such as Knocking on Heaven's Door) and tell me it's not a useful app! It is! On the down-side, besides the small number of songs, it is not very polished yet. It seems a little bit like an Electron app—nothing has a very native feel to it. The font size is ridiculously small in some places. But useful? Absolutely.

Crash. i’m not sure what’s going on. I paid for it, but it keeps closing on me every time I try to play it.

Could be good but... The app has potential. Despite the claim that material is updated weekly there has been nothing in the last month or more. The subscription price is significant, but the input from the developers seems to be minimal. Certainly will not renew. Buyer beware.

Has potential- needs more work. The concept is good and the design is quite nice. Here are the issues I see with this app. (1) It often crashes. (2) The song book is limited. I did a search of songs I’m currently learning (common artists like Pink Floyd, ACDC, Passenger, and Cream) but the songs weren’t available. (3) It would be nice if you could organise favourites, including songs not yet purchased (like a wishlist). (4) Sometimes the tabs would get out of sync with the music. (5) I couldn’t work out how to slow down a song. I though is was the clock icon, but that seems to do nothing. (6) The price of each song is a little on the expensive side. If the app was amazing it might be justifiable, but it is not there yet. (7) There is only a pay per song purchase model. It would be good if there was also a subscription option for a time based unlimited access. (8) It would be nice if it was integrated with Ultimate Guitar both the content and subscription.

Great if you log in. App works great if you get beyond the "start trial screen". If you are already subscribed it does not seems to detect. Desktop mac app works better.

Will NOT redeem code. Bought an Irig HD 2. Received redeemable codes for apps including “play guitar hits” . Will not allow me to redeem.

doesn't work. After paying 70$, i can't have access to anything. Neither on Mac nor on Iphone. The app tells me i'm already a subscriber and send me back to the subscrition page. Only a couple off titles in the catalogue. Don't waist your money.

Can’t redeem. I was sent a code to try the app, but it’s impossible to redeem it. The apps retourner an error message all the time. No reply from developer.
