Widget looks blank. Widget stopped functioning after last update.

One problem. The widgets don’t say whether or not pro edition is required. I give 5 stars because it’s amazing.

Widgets do not work no instructions on app. I’ve used many widgets in the last year so I generally understand how to use them but this app literally does not show up as an option to use as a widget. There are no specific instructions in the app telling you what you might need to do or giving you steps. Which might be fine except that it does not show up as a widget anywhere. I’ve clicked on the plus to add it as a widget but the app doesn’t show up in the list. I’ve turned my phone on and off and uninstalled and reinstalled it and it never works. I would love to use it I even paid for the pro version… but just. Doesn’t show up.

It’s fine. This is a fine app for providing sunrise, sunset, and twilight information. However it would need to provide moon phases and moon transit times for me to justify the subscription fee.

Paid app, Not Revealed at Top of Page. From what I can see this is a pretty app, looks like it would be quite functional. This is a paid app. It doesn’t say so anywhere until you scroll way down the page. (That maybe Apple being sneaky.) It’s $25 for a lifetime or $10 every year forever. I would’ve considered it, maybe, if it was really good, but now I’m disinclined to even trial it. I need to see what else is out there, all I really wanted was a widget.

Fantastic app. I love this app because it lets you know the perfect times for outside lighting for photography. Even if you aren’t a photographer, it’s great because it helps you know when you lose the light.

Great but wish there was one more feature!. I just downloaded this app today and I am looking forward to using it in the days to come. There was only one thing I felt was missing: an indication on the calendar when the solstices and equinoxes are occurring. If that was put in place on the next update, it would be perfect!

Doesn't shift for daylight savings. This seemed good but then I noticed today the app isn't reflecting daylight savings, which is a considerable oversight given the all's entire purpose.

Wonderful and Colorful Update. Have been using this app for years. One of the best of its kind. The current update secures this position. Only thing that remains is to add moon position and phase.

Get great app. Its a great app and beautiful widget

Great planner. Great if your planning backcountry travel in the future. You can plan start times and estimate how much daylight you’ll have. Can use it for anywhere. I live in Montana and used it last spring to plan morning start times on the Colorado trail for that summer.

Wonderful app. Was looking for an app to show the various twilight times. Really loved the graphical presentation! Bought the pro version based on nice interface and good reviews. Would be good if app listed the morning and evening twilight times as well as displaying them on clock, but it does a great job!

Widgets need work. I really enjoy the app and all, but in literally can’t find the widgets when I go to add it and that’s the whole reason I got the app. :’(

Widget not included in free version. I’ve got plenty of free sunset widgets to choose from but always on the lookout for new improved ones. This one is ok, but since I was in it for the widget, this app did not work out for me.

Solar irradiance in W/m2. I LOVE that this app shows the current solar irradiance in W/m2 (which includes the FULL spectrum with UV, visible, and infrared rays, NOT just visible lux or just UV index). It even has a widget for it. This sets the app apart as especially useful, more than other options out there. Upgraded to Pro Lifetime for that reason!

Great app for the sun. Best app I have found for tracking the sun!! I live off grid and it helps me know is I am going to get sunlight for my solar panels !!! It been very useful and accurate!!!!! Ty

Bad widget, great app. The app is very nice, unfortunately the actual widget (which given the name of the app is misleading) doesn’t show what you might expect. Make the widget match the app functionality and you’ll get 5 stars from me

Great app. Great app ! Only thing I think is missing is to adapt the app to daylight saving time (DST) cycle in USA.

Great App!. I’m a bit of a space nerd and this fits me exactly. On top of being a space nerd I live in the Seattle area and being that far north we have very short winter days and very long summer days. I love this app to keep up with how long the days will be, sunrise and sunset times. It always gives me hope in the depths of winter and 8 hours between sunrise and sunset that more daylight hours are around the corner. Thanks much.

I like it, can’t wait to see what’s coming next!. Great app that does what it says and doesn’t take up a huge amount of space doing so…would love to see more customizable widgets and notifications. Keep it up!

They Changed the Widget. BAD NEWS (Disappointing): The most recent App UPDATES have changed the widget AWAY from showing in the SAME widget "TIMES of BOTH the sunrise & sunset TIMES" >>> to only showing ONE of the "Number of HOURS to next Sunrise or Next Sunset". I want the Original "TIMES" of both sunrise & sunset in the same widget.

Not working right. Widget displays a blank page. Widget is not functioning at all and I am a paying lifetime subscriber Update: App has been fixed. Working fine now!

Useful. I like that I can select a date in the future and even in a different city and know when sunset and sunrise times are going to be.

Right one. This is just what I was looking for, I wanted a widget just like the solar watch face of Apple Watch, and this the closest ones, though I hope you could add the remains time till sunset or sunrise in most of the widgets, as this information is even more useful than the actual time, it’s easier in mind than to calculate yourself, thanks

Works for me!. Had the same Sunrise/sunset app for years. After the last update it no longer worked. Found this basic, yet excellent app to replace my old old one.

Love this app. Very satisfying, and I love having a notification when the sun rises and sets.

Good guy. It was not lost on me that this app was using Dark Sky, which shuts down this month (December 2022). I had been curious if I would need to purchase a new app here. I am happy to see the creator took the initiative of finding another weather service provider. For *that* reason, I say this app dev is a good guy. I would support more apps from this dev because deciding to freely make that update demonstrates exemplary integrity that other app devs have occasionally not shown.

I really like this but.... I use this all the time, but I’m wondering why it doesn’t allow landscape mode, I have an iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard so I have to always look at it sideways .

Sunrise Sunset is a simple fascinating app. It you have the slightest interest in the earth and its movement around the sun this app is easy to use and full of interesting information. When the sun rises and sets, and weather and moon information are also included.

Fun App - needs some improvement. The pale “daylight” color schemes do not provide enough contrast for the white text making it difficult to read sunrise sunset times on widget. Otherwise, it’s a fun app.

For a free app it’s ok. Obviously as with all apps like this you need to pay to get any sort of alerts but what’s missing from the paid version is 1)the max daily UV doesn’t sync to HealthKit 2)you can’t grab daily data on sunrise/set for use with Shortcuts. I was SERIOUSLY hoping to automate some stuff this way but NOPE. So definitely room for improvement but an otherwise stable app that does as advertised. Edit: I’m aware the developer has a SEPARATE UV app but since UV is listed IN this app as well it makes the second app REDUNDANT if UV is possible to be synced from this app. I am NOT someone who enjoys having multiple apps when one app can do the same thing.
