Greatest weather app I have ever used.. I’m learning meteorology at a young age because it’s what I dream of doing, I tried and tried, and searched and searched for a weather radar that has good GUI, gets updated, and is overall great quality, and I found weather wise. It is absolutely amazing for beginners and even professionals. I will always use weather wise as I continue learning, but please incorporate some features for streamers, thank you for the hard work you do weather wise team.

Amazing app, any plans for adding notifications?. I love this app, but in the future I would love to see notifications be added for local weather alerts.

Amazing app! Just a couple of requests for the premium version.. I ditched RadarOmega for this app. It’s better in ALMOST every way. But there are just a couple of features I miss from that other app. First, I would love to see WeatherWise incorporate a feature that allows the user to draw a line or plot points, enter the current speed of the storm cell, and let the app show the estimated arrival time for locations on that path. This is a critical safety feature when tracking severe storms and tornadoes. I would also love to see an animated satellite loop instead of just the latest image. Finally, it would be great to have forecast models like hrrr, gfs, etc. I hope these things are in the pipeline, because this app is really that close to being perfect! Keep up the great work!

Feedback. Hey, some feedback. I think you should add when a warning or anything pops up blinking it should also come up on the screen so that you are aware instead of having to go find that new warning that could be done blinking you can press X on the new warning that pops up. Love this app!

Amazing app. As a meteorologist myself, I see this app going places. For people who can’t afford the expensive pro options, this is a great alternative to getting all the data that you would ever need in one app! Amazing work.

Best Free Radar App. This is the best weather radar app I’ve use by far, and it probably will never change. I’m super interested in weather and I like to look at the radar whenever there’s a storm. I’ve used at least 10+ weather apps in the past and they either needed a subscription to use the radar, or the radar was one of those smoothed radars. The fact that this app is completely free and is still the best (in my opinion) even without the subscription, is absolutely insane. Keep up the great work!

Radars. This is easily the best free weather radar app that has single site radar, velocity, outlooks, etc. You can also customize it to your needs.

The best radar app. Weatherwise is the best radar app I have ever used. Its multi platform, lightweight, and extremely useful with multiple different tools. As an added bonus, a feature I requested through their feature requests was actually added to the app for everyone to use! If you ask, they will listen.

Suggestion. Great app so far. Would be great idea if we could add favorite locations so we could keep track of family and loved ones. To be able to see what’s underneath the storm information to see exactly where the storm is would make it even better

Best radar app out there imo. As a storm chaser I’ve tried every radar app out there. No radar app out there offers detailed roads, satellite and color table swapping for free except this one. The fire temp map is cool as well.

Stop taking away features.. Generally great app, however it can easily feel cluttered and clunky. They are also taking away features. For instance, I can no longer view my location in the app. I used to be able to.

A lot to offer!. After watching Ryan Hall, I decided to give this a try and man I wasn’t disappointed. There’s so much useful information and different maps and views you can use. Being able to watch other storm chasers streams in real time is cool too.

The best weather app. I have tried many weather apps and WeatherWise beats them all. Very user friendly and lots of data. The free version alone is better than a lot of paid apps.

Best radar I’ve seen. This odd hands down the best mobile radar app I’ve found. The free version is actually feature rich and offers pro tools to weather enthusiasts or nervous dads making sure their families are safe. 👀

Best Free Radar App. This app is steadily improving with great support and response to feedback. There is an option to subscribe for even more features but no other free app currently provides the same level of configuration. My prediction is this will be the one everyone starts using and talking about during severe outbreaks.

Best radar app, no comparison!. This app was created by people who care about spreading important weather information without demanding money for it. It provides the most free functionality of any radar app I’ve seen. Reflectivity, velocity, correlation coefficient, and more all available for free. Also shows all watches/warnings of course as well as NWS outlooks. Very customizable as well with the ability to change the radar and warning color pallets. Love it!

Amazing radar app!. This app is a great free radar app! It gives you all the stuff RadarScope and RadarOmega have but for free! It’s always better improving everyday and the app keeps getting better and better! I really recommend you download this, and WeatherWise yall have done something amazing here. Keep it up!!

Ryan hall hall shoutout this app but I had it before hand (I was gatekeeping😅). I love this app I first downloaded this app when I tried radar omega I didn’t like it as much so I went on safari and search up good weather app. Weather wise pop up I was like ooh what is this app and I realized this app is good and have the same ability that radar omega had. I was jumping by and screaming that I can finally track severe weather without using expensive apps! If you reach it this far to be honest I was gate keeping this app until I was watching Ryan hall hall live stream April 28th he shoutout this app I was like” nooooo” but I am still glad this app finally get the recognition it’s deserved I love this app and I can’t wait for the future update with what I heard on the live stream and I will definitely used the yall mode when it comes out.

FINALLY. As a long time weather enthusiast, I have been waiting FOREVER for a high quality radar app that is really truly free. This is that app. Amazing information, no ads, and the ability to customize a lot of things. Definitely can be overwhelming at first, but it’s worth it to dig into the app and figure it out. The hazcams and storm chaser features are a nice add-on too. I have and will continue to recommend this app to everyone I know.

Best weather app. I tried several other apps from carrot to weather underground to the default iPhone app and none of them provide what you get here. Finally something that lets you get data when and how you want! And just the data! No nonsense or dumbed down “what happened 15 minutes ago” maps. Did I mention it’s free?!? The only thing it’s missing is making my wallpaper a live map of my location haha. Best weather app by far not even close. Thanks Ryan Hall Yall for suggesting it.

All you need. I’ve owned them all. From Omega, Radar Pro, and beyond. Nothing. And I mean nothing even comes close to what you get for free with new extras added almost weekly.

Better than expected. Just started using this app a couple days and already it is part of my weather arsenal. I can’t wait to test the storm chaser mode this year and become part of the spotter network.

Legit. I’ve downloaded far too many weather radar apps that are worthless and trash. This is NOT one of those! This is by far the most legit/comprehensive storm tracking app with a useable free tier.

Great radar app. I watch Ryan hall and he recommended this app, it's a very good radar app that uses the national weather service's radars. I use this all the time unironically and I sometimes use this as a forecasting app, the best part... it's free. Way better than radar omega which was 8.99, premium is only 2.99 a month. My only complaint is the ui, I wish it was better and easier to read. Overall 4.5 out of 5, highly recommend if you are looking for a radar app.

Just look out a window instead. No future projections, if I need to see the current weather I can go to a window, but I’m checking the weather to find out what is going to happen, not what has already happened. App is terribly organized, most functions seem to partially work but are so poorly explained you need a degree in meteorology or a lecture from ChatGPT to understand it. Blown away that Apple Weather has more features than this, like future forecast.

Great for Now-Casters. Fantastic app for experienced weather folks! Not for novices but a great starting point if you’re looking to know more and possibly create your own forecasts.

DEVS PLEASE FIX!!!. This app is amazing no ads and a ton of weather featurest, BUT I do have 2 complaints every 3-5 minutes or so it makes my screen go white for a sec and then takes me to the closest nws office and I have to restart whatever I was doing, please fix that, also with the new composite update every time I try to use it the screen goes white and it won’t ever load it just keeps going white every time. Please fix that

Good, but needs some work.. So when you look at outlooks and click “Tornado” when you see it at a certain time it says it, but 7 hours later it’s not there. Please fix! Otherwise good app! And tornado emergencies plz

Awesome. Just heard about this app the other day and it’s already impressed me. I haven’t noticed any lag which is super nice for a radar. Very easy to use, looks nice, and fast. Looking forward to see how this app grows and improves.

Weather Wise Weather App. A great new Mobile or Desktop Weather App from the Ryan Hall Weather Group and It’s most devoted and Professional Weather Staff. To my knowledge this is the most complete and reliable Weather Company that I have seen. From precast to forecast to sending out boots on the ground, to contribute to the needs of those whose lives have been upended. WeatherWise. Great App so far, still waiting for the Satellite to have a looping/animation option and a few more options for the base map like brown and black. Has become one of my 3 go to Apps during Thunderstorms and Severe Weather.

Best Free Weather App. Can’t get anything like this without a pay wall. And even in radar scope to get Spc outlooks you need to pay more in app. Love the storm chaser mode too!

Amazing app (from a future meteorologist). Usually this quality you would have to pay for but the main usage is completely free, with amazing options and settings.

Best for price. I installed this app whenever radar omega would crash, and it didn’t disappoint. For a free radar app this is amazing. It’s a little bit confusing to customize but once you know how it’s a great app. I would like to see more customization like radar omega and a guide on how to add color tables or add a bit more to pick from. And add the satellite loops. Overall it’s amazing and I see this being the most popular weather app in the future passing radar scope.

Best Weather Radar App!. Decided to try this app after Ryan hall Yall sponsored it. It’s easy to use, gets straight to the point, and has WAY more features than any other radar app. and did I mention, ITS FREE. Definitely recommend this app if you’re a weather nerd.

Love the Y'all mode but... The city names are HUGE. It interferes so much with the map it's hard to see the radar. Need an option to make them smaller or something. Otherwise I love the quality of this app. There are tons of options.

Has almost everything. Has almost everything you might ask for in a radar app, and its almost entirely free! You’ll get all of the information you need to effectively track storms, plus some additional items if you’re willing to pay a small amount, but even without paying you’re still more than set to look at storms coming your way or just any storm in general.

Great app! But one problem…. This is probably the best free weather radar app I’ve used! But I have an issue with the watches and warnings tab. Whenever I try to open the tab, the app crashes then restarts (I do use an 11 year old iPad Air so it might just be the age of the device). If you can fix this problem please do.🙏

Pretty great!. The free version works really well and I’m looking forward to features being added. There is also a paid version that adds more features, but the free version has what most people would want.

Absolutely amazing. Radar, correlation coefficient, NOAA convective outlooks, you can pick the radar site! And that’s the FREE stuff! I messed up when I signed up for premium (typo in my email address). Contacted support and it was fixed in under five minutes! Can’t praise it enough!

Severe storms by risk level. Best overall app on the market. And love all the multiple updates. For a future update, any chance we can see storm risks in the current alert tab? Considerable, destructive, pds, observed tornado, etc? Always looking for this and would be great if possible. Keep it going and thank you.

Update… I went to the website, clicked on download, it brought me here, I downloaded it again and now it works; after trying strictly from this app 3 times to no avail. Great app. This app helps because there’s so many good things, including looking at the weather in Canada and United States mostly most of the stuff is in Canada or the United States

Insane app. Its simple, precise and like others radars but its free! No need to pay anything to have access to radar! Also there is a mode iv’e been searching for a while: the velocity. As a storm lover, velocity is very important to identify the possible tornadoes and weatherwise is the only app I know that probides velocity for free. I recommend this app to all storm lovers ⛈️⛈️!

Y’all Mode?. I usually have no problems figuring these things out. And you can supposedly turn on y’all mode for free (to share my location) but I can’t figure it out how to do that without paying for the life of me. Map settings are also confusing. Just show me some radar!

Love the app fix bezels. Perfect app! Used to use radar Omega but switched. Only annoying part is the large bezels on top and bottom of the screen. Will update to 5 stars once fixed, keep up the good work!

Can’t even view map fully. Opening the app gives you a widget dashboard which take 3/4 of your screen and you can’t even view the map, no way to remove this dashboard and even see the map or use any functionality properly. Unsure if this is due to paywall or current bug in the app however the radar and most functionality is greatly reduced and useless.

Please fix!!. Lately there has been a bug on Apple that for some reason the radar stations disappear. Please fix this, I really loved the fact you could see where the radar station is in relation to the storm. Once this is fixed I’m happy to update to a 5 star rating. Thank you!

I tried. This ui is so unintuitive and busy with no clear indicative on how to clean up the map or how to remove certain layers. I tried to like it but until there is a more clearly defined pathway to toggle on and off all the bright bold purple, pink, and blue lines which I assume are indicating alert boundaries for who knows what, then this is of use. I tinkered and dig and explored the deepest recesses of the settings and found no clear way on how to remove this clutter and distracting noise.

Attention Ryan hall and weather wise crew. The app is very laggy for me and haft the time it doesn’t even show the rain or anything else so please fix it immediately honestly amazing project but I’ve had some problems so please fix the lagging for iPad users anyway all the best 😁⛈️

Where are the outlooks?. So, the day models got added, a 5-star favorite option, I enjoyed using it. One thing was wrong. The outlooks option was gone. That was a very important tool. What is so hard about adding models in without deleting something else? I love your app, but fix this please. There are a lot of things on outlooks. Just keep models you need a future cast. Not for me. Way too much clutter, doesn’t need a homescreen/widgets to add to the clutter, we all have the standard iPhone weather app for current conditions. All the Ryan hall stuff is annoying, I can’t even watch his screen anymore because all he cares about is viewers, money and saying plumb wild. Thank god we have Max Velocity now. My advice, if you’re a weather nut, just pay the 10 bucks for radar scope.

The complete package and more. this app is awesome. that’s like having your own personal weather man and a community of people who love weather lol. No other weather app compares to this.

Best Free Weather App. Great app, radar, velocity, and even composite, models (GFS, HRRR). Each week a new update comes out and each new update is so cool. Only thing I’d say is that there’s no French translation. But it’s great.

Best wheather app in the App Store. It has great satellite imagery and the radars are free not like “MYRADAR” and it has storm chasers and I love watching Ryan hall. It was a little dumb that it’s 16+ but it’s fine. Hope they keep updating for decades because this is my go to wheather app best app ever!

MAP!!!. The map decide to quit working one month after owning the app. The map doesmap does not even show up anymore, no counties no states no countries. Also, I’m not able to look at the different radars anymore because of the maps. I would like them to fix this. Other than that, this app is great. I love this app. Great app just wish them after work.

Future radar. It would be helpful if the radar went into the future. Instead of just stopping at the current time.

Good app. So, far, this looks like a good weather app. Time will tell. I see an error in the mapping that needs to be corrected: You need to change the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Please take care of that.

Exceptional. Truly a silent outlier of all weather radar apps. Only things I wish it had were to draw impact time paths (like on RadarOmega), and also having weather wise radar on CarPlay would be an amazing feature too.

Excellent radar. The radar portion of this app, which is the main focus, deserves five stars. There is no other app that I have found compares to the features or in-depth analysis that WeatherWise provides. Would love to see HRRR option for hourly forecast.

Great app but... This is great I particularly like that there is “raw” radar data (showing u the tiniest of rain) the only thing that I now don’t like is that it’s rated 16+ it has nothing to be rated 16+ I know this is not the devs fault and it’s Apple fault but this is a great app.

Blank screen. Blank screen always even after reinstalling. My son died because I couldn’t look at the radar
