The algorithm has been adapted to recognize sounds of trumpet most effectively. To get the best result of automatic tuning, play the sound on trumpet few times.
The application includes sets of tunes:
- Trumpet, Bb,
- Trumpet, All Types.
The application has two modes: pitchfork and tuner.
- Pitchfork
You can use pitchfork to tune your trumpet in our application – just play trumpet sound and check if your instrument is tuned properly. You can also play all sounds automatically (from lowest to highest string) and during recording – tune your trumpet.
- Tuner
If you need any help with tuning your trumpet, turn on the auto tuner. The application will recognize the sound played by you and help you tune trumpet.

NOT MEANT FOR TRUMPET. I thought that this app would be good for average trumpet players/beginners like me but it is definitely not! It does not show you the actual note that you are playing from the perspective of a b flat instrument, only from a c instrument. This is really not helpful for a trumpet player trying to tune quickly! Also, this app can’t go bellow 410 hearts which makes it completely unusable as tons of trumpet notes (like half) can’t even be measured by this app. Instead I would suggest a chromatic tuner that is at the right pitch of notes. THIS IS JUST NOT MEANT FOR TRUMPET! Just so you know your device is completely capable of measuring bellow 410 hearts...

Amazing app. I’ve compared my results of this tuner to my band instructor’s tuner, and the results of my pitch were the same. I use this app every day, and I’m very happy with it.
So-so. It said I was playing a low B even though I can't go higher and I was playing a C I think my trumpets broken or the app.😐😕
Not so good. I’m a 4th grader and I am learning how to play the trumpet but this app doesn’t help me at all and whenever I play a note it almost says the exact opposite note I’m playing but I know the note I’m playing is right so it is not me.☹️🎺
