Amazing!. Love the layout where you can switch the effects how often and sound level. Good selection to choose from. I see the developers are constantly updating. I hope they release new scenes at some point. Maybe like a chainsaw corn field one or crow with zombies. Hahaha. These are great and really enjoying them. Keep it up!!!!

Hue Haunted House. I was finally able to get the app to work after multiple router reboots, etc. Very happy that I stuck with it, as it works great now and is really is a fun app to use with the Hue Lights! Does not work! Immediately finds the Hue Bridge, but does not recognize when you are pushing the button on the bridge. Tried with both IPhone & IPad. I will definitely be requesting a refund. Disappointing!

Great app but needs options. The app is great but would love to have the option to loop several different scenes otherwise the it is the same colors and sounds the whole time Hopefully you can add this option Thangs for the great work

Good app, but .... This app works as advertised and would be perfect for a Halloween party or other Halloween event. However, it is spooky how fast this thing eats battery life. Over the course of one day starting with a full charge, this app drained 55% of my battery life. I will have to uninstall it until the power issue gets resolved.

Joke. Didn't work with iOS 14 and is even worse on 15. Would be cool if it actually worked, but only 24 of our 56 Hue bulbs light up. Our other Hue app's, while maybe not the greatest, at least manage to illuminate all of our bulbs. Submitted request to be refunded by Apple for defective app. Waste of time.

An absurdly fun tool. I spent several hundred dollars a few years ago to buy Philips’ pricey hardware to enable the Hue system. And then for some unfathomable reason I hesitated to purchase this under $5 app. What a silly, silly decision! Hue Haunted House is a delightful little romp of an app. Purchase it on the iTunes Store, connect it to your Hue system by launching the app and then connecting it to the Hue Bridge by pressing the Bridge’s center button and it simply works (MAY work in Bridge-less Hue Bluetooth environments - I just don’t know). I was even able to connect it to my Sonos system with hardly any effort at all: two button presses on my iPhone. Believe me, if you can configure Hue to begin with, this won’t be hard. Hue Haunted House has massive customization capabilities. Want more frequent or louder witches, for instance? Just move the two sliders just for that one light/sound effect, one of ~8 effects for each of the ~12 pre-packaged groups. Simple, immensely fun, and worth every penny. The app is not perfect, of course. I wish it had seamless integration with Hue’s motion sensor so that it could burst lights and sounds when the victims, err children, come to my door. I would ask for individual bulb control or scene rotation. And I would definitely ask for more scenes that use traditional Halloween colors like orange, red, and brown. But don’t let these nits dissuade you: Philips Hue was never created because we *need* 16 million colors on our front porches. They were created for having fun. And Hue Haunted House delivers fun with a capital F!

Airplay 2 Still Broken. love the app, but it only lets you airplay to one speaker.

Didn’t work for me!. This never did anything but play the music, it never synced with my lights. What a waste!!!

Not overdone or underdone. This is a great app for a Halloween party!

COOLEST HALLOWEEN!. This app will turn your house into a real haunted house. It’s effortless to make a haunted house with this app and your hue lights. I went out and got more hue bulbs because Hue is the easiest and most versatile color bulb system.

Meh. This app seems like it would be cool, but not so much. The sounds are pretty good, but the color coordination does nothing for me. We run a home haunt and i was looking for something to do with our Hue lights. While the attempt is there, the implementation is lacking. For example, when you hear a beating heart, I’d expect to see, at least, one light simulating a beating heart (reddish, pulsating, etc.). Sometimes the lights coordinate well, but overall, this app misses the mark for usefulness.

Spooky great light show and sounds.. Terrific to turn on during dark rainy nights to add additional atmosphere...emphasis on fear. A lot of care went into this app. It’s the first app I’ve bought for my HUE but I’m going to buy others from these devs. Keep them coming.

Basic and boring. Spend your money on one of the much better apps.

Obsessed!. This is the best freakin’ app, ever! I am so excited about Halloween. It works perfectly and there are a ton of options!

Fun app. Testing this out as we speak, so not a comprehensive review. So far looks great! Nice graphics and design set it apart from that other Hue Halloween app. This is by far better.

AirPlay 2 Still Broken. Great timing to realize that the AirPlay 2 functionality that worked perfectly fine the last couple of years no longer works in this version that apparently was supposed to fix it. At least if you are on iOS 16. Terrible timing. Great app when AirPlay 2 works but the creep vibe to the party just died with the ability to only have sound coming from one device. Five stars when fixed.

My wife loves it.. With nine hue lamps, a light strip, and a Bluetooth speaker in the front of the house, we are dialed in for all seasons. First app review I’ve ever left, that’s how please I am with it.

Not worth the money.. The Huewolleen app is much better.

Great fun. Worked as advertised Halloween ‘17. App still works almost a year later. I airplayed the sound to Apple TV4 and let the surround sound (Bose) do the work. Depending on your Hue setup (internet signal), you can probably control it via app down the block. Just pick a scene that works best for your situation: sound effects & light color changing. If your home is decorated to a similar theme, it can be a lot of fun.

Won’t connect to Hue Bridge+. It sees my Hue Bridge+ and instructed me to push the button, but when I do, nothing happens - it just continues to spin and then times out. The bridge works fine because it connects nicely to other apps.

Best one in the collection!. It’s easy to pick lights. Lights flicker and flash with noise. This is a great addition to my home automation!

Wicked Cool. Very happy with this app! Fun to just play with, and I can’t wait until Halloween to use it. I love that the sounds can be sort of customized to my liking. Everything works perfectly!

Need Chromecast ability. Please add casting audio to google products please!!! I would love to buy an Apple speaker but for $300 its out of the question. It’s much cheaper to get google minis. Being able to connect those would make this app perfect! Reduced to 3 stars because the syncing between multiple lights and the audio is horrible. It’s like no 2 lights can change colors at the same time. This app works great if you’re only controlling 1 light but beyond that it will not match the audio. I tested with several hue lights and had the same result.

Best Hue app to date!. Finally an app that syncs hue lights to sounds. Many scenes to choose from. Our favorite is “Haunted House”. Highly recommended!

Do not buy. Will not connect to my hue bridge. Search finds it but just spins when tryi mg to connect. Even when trying to connect manually. Pushed the button. Nothing

Awesome. Please create a Christmas one like this!. I love this app. It is so smooth and easy to use. It is also timed perfectly to the lights. However, I would love one like this for Christmas with sounds of Santa, Christmas morning, and children unwrapping presents. I know you already have a Christmas hue app but it should be more like this one with my suggestions. Edit: Maybe you could add some basic things that remind us of Christmas like snowfall and classic Christmas carols and songs. I would just create a whole new app though instead of updating the old one.

Doesn’t work with HueGo or LightStrip. This app works great with my color bulbs, but it doesn’t seem to interact with my other hue color accessories.

I like it. I’ve tried several different apps for Hue. This producer’s apps are easily the best overall. Easy to use. Very customizable. Fun. Wired great for Halloween. Some apps want more money for less choices and sometimes very complicated settings. This year I ran the app for the front of our home and put a Bluetooth speaker in the window. I don’t know about everyone else, but I liked it. I’ll be looking forward to trying their other apps.

Great app but needs Ikea support!!!. It’s a really good app but if you have Ikea light bulbs connected to the hue bridge they just act like dimming lights, please support the Ikea light bulbs so that they can change color and not just dim up and down!!!!!!!!!!

Unusable app. This app crashes during Connecting to stored IP, please fix! or remove this app in the app store.

Not good !!!. Dose not work well with Phipps hue don’t weast your money

Cute and scary!. I took a chance on this app and it is great. It connected to the Hue hub on the first try. I was easily able to output the sound to my Bluetooth speaker. The sounds were creepy and synchronized well with the colour light. It had my 5yo hiding in the bathroom in broad daylight! My only issue is that when I pause the effects it disconnects with my speaker and I have to re-pair the Bluetooth from settings.

GREAT App!!. This has to be one of the best things I have bought for Hallowe’en! The app is very customizable, it has loads of different scenes, and it truly is creepy! My 17 year old got a little freaked at how authentic it sounded, and how well the Hue lights synced with the audio! Good work!!! Highly recommended!!!
