Crashes. In their help section it tells what to do if it’s crashing. So basically if you find a background you like and it crashes replaces it for one that doesn’t. That’s not really fair now is it? There is also no music, that was the main reason for my purpose was I liked the music with it. So mine still crashes and no music.

The update fixed everything. Great product. There was like a couple weeks of drama after the iphone's most recent update but now all the new bugs are fixed!

No landscape mode (updated). Makes this app extremely cumbersome to use on an iPad with iMovie as you have to constantly rotate the screen. I would not have purchased this if I had known It did not have a landscape mode. Probably fine for a phone, but not for an iPad and certainly not for this price. Edit to dev response; No problem, I can update right now. This app produces superior scrolling animations without the jerkiness that is pretty much the industry standard for ios apps. I have never been happy with any of the apps I have used for scrolling credits until this app. This app does one thing, but it does it very, very well and given the almost instantaneous response from the devs, I trust that I will be fully satisfied with my purchase once landscape mode is implemented. Great job guys and good luck in all your future endeavors. I’m leaving my original complaint review and my updated review so people can judge for themselves the responsiveness of this developer. It is very unusual for a developer to respond to a negative review with, “we agree with you and have fixed the problem in the next update.” Can’t ask for more than that!

I use daily!. Great app! Can be a little buggy at times, but usually does it job! One update I’d love to see is column orientation. Being able to have credits scroll on the left or right of a video would be perfect! As of the time I wright this center text is your only option.

Save yourself. The app starts off as what can be a great tool - then after loading 62 persons with different titles and thank you notes - when trying to save what you created to be able to use it - it glitches out gives you an error message and advises you to contact the help desk. MIND YOU AFTER BUFFERING FOR LIKE 20 Minutes! #Fail

Perfect!. I’ve tried several different apps to scroll credits and this is by far the best, no one else comes close. This app is awesome for making your movies look professional! 👍🏼

So awesome for mac users. It’s an easy to use handheld creative experience (scrolling credits), these guys really know how to do it, I first used their Extras4iMovie app for like five years and it’s always been super fun to make digital art with. Thank you Dating DNA Inc. Pleas keep it up.

Can I have my money back?. Misleading: You guys say I can use this in my own videos. But he idea is that I don’t need to upload to a computer, I need to do it all in the IPhone. You should say: You can use this amazing app but you need to upload to a computer. And learn to work with green screen and then you can use it. I don’t need this app. LumaFusion has better options. Money back please!

Great, kinda. Everything about this app is great, great quality, great txt options and it looks so professional. And when u finish, it looks so professional, it looks like it could b straight out of the latest Hollywood blockbuster. He only problem, it’s kinda a big one, it takes forever to save to ur camera roll, and always crashes when saving. That is one of the reasons that I deleted the app. B the ILLUMINATI

Works well. I got this app and it is very useful and helps a lot. Does exactly what I need. This company also has is great in the replying to problems. Definitely worth downloading.

Still the best!. This is by far the best scrolling credits app I’ve used or tried. In my mind, it’s an essential tool in the mobile content creator’s toolkit. So much so that thought of being without it is really unpleasant. The flexibility and results are unmatched. Some reviewers describe problems I’ve not had and cannot reproduce. Without dismissing those experiences and the frustration involved, I continue think, based on my own experiences, that its reliability and feature set make this app an incredible value. I’m not suggesting Scrolling Credits Pro is perfect or bug free (I don’t think it is), but I am suggesting that it is well worth purchasing and using. And once you nail down the right speed for a given frame rate (currently I add 7 to my project frame rate to get a video rendered at the project frame rate), the render reliably drops right into a project timeline and gives smooth scrolling results.

Oh my gosh this is amazing for my move. I give it five stars you can change backgrounds in anything it’s not a scam ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️stars

Not much here. It will only let you make credits over a photo or one of their stock photos. No option to do scrolling credits over an existing video. Waste of money for me.

Keeps crashing, do not buy this app. I want my money refunded. Just bought this upgrade, and cannot produce one video. Every single rendering fails, app crashes. This app is a rip-off. How do I get my money back?

Perfect. That’s all I have to say...

Waste of Money. I just bought the app. It does everything I need it to do, however it refuses to save any of the work I did. It previews just fine, but when I attempt to press save, it pretends as if it is going to save, then the app crashes. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!!!

Almost a five but I’m ok.. I was able to do what I needed to but would have loved to have been able to either bring video in for this to scroll over, or to have a saved version that can be taken into editing on my phone. Just a wish list thing. Very happy with what this allowed me to do.

Isn’t the best for larger productions. My production company uses this app a lot for smaller projects, just because it’s easy. We thought we’d try this out on one of our latest projects, and everything looked good until we got it on a bigger screen. The credits were very jerky, and made the crews eyes hurt a couple seconds in. Now that we know this, we can’t unsee it in any of our projects and have stopped using this app altogether. It was nice though.

Compressing video problem. I just downloaded this app and when I go to upload and pick my video only 30 second long it says “compressing video” then it stops once the loading bar is done and nothing else happens I’ve let it sit for about 5 minutes deleted and redownloaded the app but nothings is happening

Look great but is a pain to use. This app work great to make professional looking credit scrolls. However, it is very laggy, often crashes, has very annoying habits of dislayering each side of your text, and many other issues that make this app a pain to use. Its such a shame because without all of these problems, this would be a perfect app. But it isn’t. Please fix these problems so we can use this freely! There isn’t even an update! Come on people!

App constantly crashes. Every time I try to save a video, my app crashes. Great idea, poor execution. Please fix this problem. Sure wouldn’t want $5 to go to waste on this app.

Needs 3 columns option. Great! Only problem is you don’t have an option for 3 columns.

Too limited on what you can do!. I thought this app was going to be great but its too limited on what you can do. Having the size 16:9 doesn’t make sense, I think it would be better if you could have multiple options like square for IG which is what I needed. Also I believe you should make it were you are able to zoom in/out as well as been able to move/relocate the scroll anywhere you need. Until then I think this app is to basic and not worth $4.99!

Awesome app but needs outlines. Love the app but it needs letter outlines with different colors so it shows up better with different backgrounds.

Bug fixes. It says to make the words smaller if it crashes on you but I did that in every time it crashes so I don’t know what’s happening but yeah I can’t really use this app but if the bug got fixed I would use it

Scrolling Credit Pro bust. I bought this app yesterday and was initially very excited until I went to save and it’s been crashing ever since even with the instructed less text. I wish they could fix this issue because it would sell like hot cakes. I’m going to give it a 1 star until they fix it and I can save a project.

Cropping Limitations. I would give 5 stars if I could crop and reposition photos n the background

The app is very bad and if you are trying to write a reasonable amount of writing in a two column credits then you are doomed it will not stop crashing and you will never get what you want I do not recommend this app it was a waste of money don’t buy don’t use it’s not worth it promise you!!!!!

Does Not Work With Your Own Videos. Just purchased this app based on the good reviews. Tried to use my own video as background to layer scrolling text on top, DOES NOT WORK. App completely freezes when I try to upload my own video. Useless and complete waste of money for me since I bought it to add scrolling text to my own videos, not use stock videos/backgrounds provided within the app. I’d like a refund on my purchase on principle but I know I won’t get it. Don’t waste your money if you’re looking to use your own videos as backgrounds.

Awesome works with imovies. Wish more features to titles would be made Zoom in and out fade title features

I love the app!. It does everything I need, backgrounds, scrolling text, different sizes, and I can download them and have them in my photos! But I only have one question, why is the app about making credits made by people who appear to make dating apps?

Good Start. I converted over from the old app at a cost. I like the new interface a lot better and it is a lot smoother output. I would like to see the user to be able to import their own TTF Fonts in a future version. Perhaps have some side scrolling as well.

Not as Billed. Awful software. Things don’t line up visually; doesn’t save as rendered; crashes when saving; help section doesn’t help.

WARNING! APP DOES NOT WORK!. The developer answered a review saying that a bug causing the app to crash was fixed! The APP STILL CRASHES!!! only thing the App does is CRASH! Not very useful. Use the cash earned to hire a more experienced Developer that can FIX the app and there will be only POSITIVE reviews!

Upload Crashes with larger files. I find this App very slow to upload files (I have 1g connection speed). It also does not save larger files even if you go down to 360p.

Easy to create but won’t let you save. Looks great and easy to use until you try to save. I understand when using my iPad it may not be able to create and save large files so I broke down credits to only a couple lines at a time as per suggested through the app so that I could piece them together later in iMovie however it still would crash and not save only 3-4 lines.

Help!. I hate to give a negative review, but when I spend money and take the time to investigate the best way to save my scrolling text… My phone is crashing… Actually, the app is crashing… Every time I try to save it!! I have reset my phone, I have done everything. I have tried to save it in every aspect I could. I’m not an idiot. So I am now blaming the app. What am I doing wrong?

Horrible App. Paid $5 bucks to simply add credits to a 12 second picture slide show video. Every attempt to upload the video results in the app freezing after ‘compressing video.’ Don’t waste your money with this trash.

Update March 18 2020 Whenever I upload my own video with Audio, the audio keeps overlapping. I believe I talked to you guys about this before and you stated you was going to fix it and you didn’t. Doesn’t render. So I gave 2 stars because it actually looks amazing. However I can’t for the life of me get it to render without it crashing. It says on the pop up that comes up if you struggle go to scrolling credits.com but that doesn’t even work. Please help me. I tried rendering the lowest resolution and then the second one (720p) and still nothing it just constantly crashing. Please help. Is there anything I can do? If this works it definitely seems like 5 stars.

Easy to use! Sensible app name.... So many apps have a name totally unrelated to their use that I had to thank the developers for it. Pleasantly easy to find it among my fairly large collection of image editing iPhone apps. (After awhile of use, I anticipate submitting a substantive review.)
