iPhone X notch support. It’s all in the title, this is a great and feature-rich synth, but on my iPhone XR it’s missing one very important thing. The UI seems to have not been tested on iOS devices with a notch as the notch takes a significant chunk out of a few buttons. Nothing that breaks the app, but this simple fix would make the user experience astronomically better.

FANTASTIC SYNTH. Zeeon just sounds plain great. I set up a bass channel strip in Drambo (another Beep Street classic) that can switch between Zeeon (internal) and Pittsburgh Modular Taiga (external hardware) as sound sources and although they are different in their design, Zeeon is as rich, juicy and deep as it’s analog counterpart.

Thanks for the updates so far. GREAT sounding synth for sure. Seriously in love with it. -Please add midi channel selection because right now it seems to respond to all incoming channels for external gear. For instance, I am trying to sequence it from my JD-Xi on channel 1 but it is being triggered by every channel (1-4)...seems like it is locked in an omni mode...blah. oh, one more thing: please add real-time recording in the step sequencer! I know it is a young synth and these requests may not be what was envisioned, but pretty please. Update: I get it now, in order for me to use this were it only responds to specific midi channels, I must run it through AUM, for instance. Not bad as AUM is elegant & straightforward compared to others. Just was hoping for one less layer to deal with. Still would like real-time recording in step mode! Still LOVING this synth!

Top-tier iOS synth!. This is truly a fun synth to play, with a very immediate set of controls and a great sound. I’ve bought many (most?) iOS synths over the last 5 years, and Zeeon is the one I reach for first. It’s that good. Oscilloscope makes it very easy to see how your changes impact the waveform, and all controls are extremely smooth with respect to changing the audio. I would put this in the same class as Moog’s Model 15 and Korg’s ODYSSEi in terms of raw oscillator quality and warmth, but the interface makes it much more playable. Love it!

One of the best sounding synths available for iOS. I am delighted to report longstanding UI issue (in Logic Pro on MacOS) with this terrific synth has FINALLY BEEN FIXED! It works perfectly! Five stars!

Crashes on launch. Completely unusable now. Seems others have reported this almost two months ago.

My favorite synth BUT. Version 1.55 isn't working at all on MacOS and it won't open as an AU in Logic anymore. I really depend on Zeeon as a synth for Live shows and it is dissapointing that it isn't working!! Please either fix the app or rebuild it for MacOS so I can just buy it so I can be sure it works as well on my M1 Max!! Please Please!!!

Love this synth. Great synth and sound very inspiring. Easy to use. Thanks for the update. Patch selection is nice however it would be better If patch list was filtered rather than hi-light when choosing patch type.

Finally!. It’s simple—the most dynamic synth app. I only operate in a few playgrounds and this app has elevated the GB space. I sketch with pencils, LogicPro and GB. Thank you for creating this gem.

Fantastic synth, terrific bargain!. I’m loving this synth! I initially had an issue with the MIDI Learn forgetting settings with each restart, but deleting the app and then reinstalling fixed it. Works great on my iPad 5th generation, iOS 11.4.

Love it, some things bug me. But I love it.. Sounds great, a delight to work with. I love, love having it on both my phone and my iPad. Some synth apps I struggle to get anything good out of; this is one of the few where I can hardly seem to miss. Some complaints that are probably already on a very busy developer’s to-do list: 0. I want to “favorite” presets I like (as in Synth One) and delete ones I don’t. 1. I wish the LFO rate and delay time controls showed time divisions (1/4, 1/8d, etc) in BPM mode. It’s extremely painful to try to do that the way it is. 2. I wish I could modulate osc fine tuning and Panel 2 (effects) parameters in the mod matrix. Modulating Layer 1 Pitch and Layer 2 Pitch gets pretty close to the first one, though. 3. I wish I could save and share single presets instead of whole banks, and I’d like to rename banks.

Great sound, great layout. I got Zeeon on the iPhone and the layout is great. Simple and straightforward tabs for the different parts, you can find your way around within a minute and coupled with the great sonic character, it's a pleasure to work with. I did notice that the button for editing both layers at once is missing in the iPhone version which is a little disappointing but ultimately not a big deal

One of the best sounding synths available for iOS. However, it still has a big UI problem which has gone unaddressed for macOS (M1 Mac). Try to adjust a knob and the actual "hotspot" to control it is one step to the left of the actual on-screen knob. Nothing lines up correctly. I have to imagine this is a simple fix, but it has not been looked into for a long, long time. Please investigate and fix this. Thank you!

Simply awesome!. Hands down just a great sounding synth for iOS. Easy to navigate and sometimes hard to believe these sounds are emanating from an iPad! The B.B. patches are absolutely amazing as well and will without a doubt find their way into my productions. Definitely snatch this up and grab those B.B. Presets!

Great synth but…. …why doesn’t it store the sequence with a patch and why can’t you transpose the sequencer in real time from the keyboard? Other than that - it is a great synth app.

Really nice, fat analog sounding poly synth, but particularly fat mono synth. This is by far the nicest sounding synth for bass/mono synth sounds (it’s also a poly synth, and sounds nice for pads and other synth sounds too), but for bass sound in particular, it’s the best iOS synth I’ve heard. It nails the analog artifacts and subtle tones that many soft synths have trouble recreating, in the attack tones especially. Get this if you’re looking for a synth for Warp Records sounding IDM bass or lead sounds.

Amazing flexibility, nicely balanced.. When I first bought this synth it sat in the background largely unused but it has quietly become my go to in a rather large collection of great iOS synths. For me, I find the interface very intuitive so when I’m building new patches I don’t get bogged down in trying to figure out where everything is. The sound quality is excellent but it’s the mod matrix that gives this beast so much power and flexibility! The experimenting seems endless. I have other synth that have incorporated a mod matrix but they are also populated with more features which, to me, slows down the process of creating patches. Zeeon seems to have struck the right balance of features and has been a joy to work with. If you do not like creating your own sounds, don’t worry. There are a decent amount of presets that sound terrific!

Awesome ladder filter and analog realism. Sound quality is best in iOS synth business. Osc, filter, amp attention to true analog sound is way ahead of others on iOS. Almost Diva quality. Suggestion, can you do us a huge favor and make Drive Amount a target for modulation? Currently the only way to modulate the wave folding is via AUM and external LFO modulation of the Drive Amount via MIDI. But I want Drive Amount as a mod target from within your app so that it can be audio rate modulated. This would be great. Could use more/all knobs and buttons as mod targets. A little light on modulation targets. Your analog modeling is the best, though. Very detailed filter sweeps and filter drive. The high frequency performance of your noise source is iOS best as well. Again, almost Diva quality. This app is under-praised and under-appreciated.

Updated review 😀. Thank you for fixing the issue with standalone mode. It works perfect now. This is one of my top favorite synths and I use it quite a bit in my tracks. Once you get the hang of the routings, it produces excellent sounds.

Absolutely incredible sound. Zeeon's sound simply blows me away. I am a professional keyboardist and sound designer using 100% iOS soft synths. Sunrizer by Beep Street has been my first choice for sound creation. Once I got a taste of Zeeon, I was floored. It is designed to be an audio unit at this point. However, the developer is excellent in listening to customers and is planning to add a standalone MIDI port to the synth making it even more usable. I look forward to working quite heavily with this incredible synth.

Easy and fun to use. This is my first time using an ios synthesizer. The features, interface, and sound of this thing make it well worth the money!

Loads of fun for tweaking. Endless sound possibilities and an amazing pallet of creativity waiting at your fingertips. Thick warm analog characteristics with plenty of control options for creating expressive instrument that breath a life of their own.

Great Warm Sound. It is amazing how much synth you get. Wonderful sound, easy to adjust. Great low end. So much fun! A no brainer.

Universal.... You will have to find Purchased Apps view to download this awesome synth to your iPhone if you bought it on iPad.

Good sounds but…. This is the only audio unit that causes crackling in BeatMaker 3. Currently running on a 12.9 inch 2018 iPad Pro this thing is a powerhouse and shouldn’t really have any issues at all. Aside from that, great sounds and interface! Hopefully this gets fixed

Top. Wonderful sounding synth, I wish it would include the amazing recording and audio copy feature you have in Sunrizer synth. That would make it perfect for me.

Blows away the competition. This is a synth that makes me wanna sing with it. Can’t go wrong. Tune and sing. Inspiring synth. Forget the math, and buy this synth.

Amazing. This is my first iOS synth and I love it! Designing sounds on it and playing them is so much fun and easy. It’s can be deep but it’s not mind boggling, I know basic synth parameters but I’m not great and thus was easy to pick up and it’s really teaching me a lot and most importantly it sounds fantastic. After having used it for a little while now I find that I really like just sitting down for 5-10 minutes and programming a patch that I like which often leads me to find a chordal or melodic idea I really like. I could open up GarageBand and start a new project but that sort of kills the fun and spontaneity of quickly making a patch and finding something cool, recording it and getting back to work or whatever I was doing. I think that’s part of what the iPad was made for. I’m trying to find a way to do that, the easiest way I can see is through IAA and something like Audioshare but this synth doesn’t support that. I was hoping that would be possible or if anyone has any suggestion, I could be totally wrong, I’m very new to the iOS music world. Sorry for the long review, writing this hear because the developer seems like he’s great at responding here. And thank you for such an awesome synth!

My Goldilocks synth. As time has passed, I find myself continually coming back to this synth. The sound, the interface, the balance of power and simplicity - it’s all just about right for me. Sure there are things I wish for (poly unison being the main one), but they’re all small, and the quality and experience from this thing is just second to none.

This app is useless to me, as of now.. I bought this app with high hopes, I really did, but the fact that I can’t use it as an instrument to record into Garage Band destroys any usability for my productions. The app is completely invisible to Garage Band. It’s no where to be found when I look for it. The factory presets are great, though, I can’t record anything with them so there’s no use in buying the expansion packs. I want to be able to play the synth with my keyboard and be able to record it. That’s all. But, after reading the developer response to a previous review, it isn’t likely the app will ever have inter-app audio capabilities. Devs, you’re treating your app like a computer program, not an iOS app. They are completely different and the Audiobus “standard” reason you gave in the previously mentioned review seems lazy. 2 stars because the presets are nice.

Pretty meh for 2022. Rolled the dice. Not impressed. Save your ten bucks. All the rave reviews are old. Was probably cutting edge when released, butthe features havent kept up with some of the new synth apps. Last update was over a year ago.

Requires some work. If you are into presets than this synth may not be for you This app will help you become a better sound designer but you have to work at it Many options are available to tweak your sounds

Good But there is problems. This app is great. Just what I was looking for. But every like 5 minutes it kicks me out. I also wish that I could use the sequencer in GarageBand, not just the synth.

A New Standard. Like Moog's Model 15, Beepstreet's Zeeon has set a new standard of quality for IOS synthesizer apps. Yes, it is demanding (requires 64-bit processing) but richly rewarding. A worthy successor to Beepstreet's Sunrizer!

Great pocket synth. My only real wish is that there was native Bluetooth midi support. Also, would be nice if the handbook was a little more comprehensive for those of us just getting into this. No hits on the rating though. Great app.

Incredible. This is one of the best synths on iOS. Unbelievable sound. Amazing to program. Every time I make music on my iPad, there’s a 100% chance Zeeon will be involved.

One of the best synths on the iPad. This is one of my bread and butter synths on iOS. I love the little mod matrix and some of the wild bass timbres you can get. A versatile synth that’s great at atmospheric poly pads as well as gritty, heavy mono leads and bases. The only way it could be improved is if it’s awesome sequencer were included in the audio unit version of it. Just imagine what you could do with a midi sequencer CC controlling Zeeon’s sequencer. Fun stuff.

Updated review. Please see update below! I have been using the delightful Sunrizer synth for almost two years now, and was really looking forward to playing with Zeeon...while the sound is quite good, I’m not having luck getting the envelope generators to work properly. If this feature worked, I would find this app very useful, but for my purposes, an envelope generator really needs to work properly. Bummer! IMPORTANT UPDATE!! I heard back from the developer within hours about my “problem.” It turned out that re-starting the iPad a second time solved it. So very pleased with this app! No complaints at all now.

One of my go tos.. I’ve been constantly using this synth for a while now, no complaints. I make many different genres and I find that I can use this synth on rap music to edm to synthwave, pretty quickly. One of my favorite presets banks.

Was working. Won’t even load up in my iPhone X , was working the last time I used it on my iPhone. I normally use my iPad. I uninstalled it and reinstalled and it was crashes before it loads the synth. Great synth , I’m sure there will be an update soon.

Great sound synth! Feature requests.... Please add the presets into AUM’s preset menu. Currently only the loaded preset shows up in AUM. also please have have the sequencer in the AUV3 version, this was one of the main reasons i purchased the plugin and i was let down to findout it isnt in the plugin. Can sequences be saved inside presets and or can sequences have there own presets. Another page or 4 for the sequencer would be nice. I love being able to select multiple cells but i wish i could select non adjacent cells to program or delete. Also can you add a record button in addition to the auto step button, this would complete the work flow Finally there is no IAP version so it’s not possible to use the sequencer in AUM. (Unless im missing something 👀) Xoxo

Great Synth with Big Sweet Spots. It’s just so easy to dial up a pleasing tone on Zeeon! Straightforward architecture with plenty of power and tweakability. And it’s Mac compatible, which multiplies its value for me as a Logic Pro user.

Fantastic analog modeling synth. This is an amazing synth. You could easily go out and buy a Modal synth that is very similar for $600 to $800 dollars… the cost of this app is a bargain. Works fantastic as an audio unit in Garageband. Visually behaves as a desktop synth unit.

Very impressed!. A great sounding synth that has all the tools to develop and produce professional music. The sounds are great, but the instrument is so easy to write and save your own. I own everything out there and this synth is one of my favorites. It’s robust and fat. Great filters, envelopes, LFOs and a very sharp layout. Very easy and fun to program. Great job! Crashes when attempting to access store. The app crashes when pressing the shop button to the right of the keyboard in the standalone app. The app doesn’t recognize it’s in the standalone when looking through the presets in standalone app.

please read!. Please few things I wish! - option to restore the default presets, and improve the delete option because it’s buggy eith the slide gesture - option to hide the keyboard and show the panel 2 instead! like in Sunryzer, but please save this setting after closing the app

Sets a new ios standard. Simply a great sounding synth. So many others on iOS are tinny, flat and just amateur sounding. This one is the real deal. Up there with the better vsts of its kind.

Great synth with one major annoyance. Why is there no option to continue work from the stand alone when one switches over to AUM? Major flaw of AU instruments. An option (like the good old days before IAA solved the problem that is now all too often ignored) would be to implement a scratch recorder. I get ideas all the time in this thing running stand alone mode, but without an option to record anywhere, I am stranded. Put IAA back in the game. It works properly with audio. AU does not. Please, or a standard audio recorder. Thank you.

One of the all time greats. Yes, this is a great sounding synth with sooooo much control over the sound. I love the interface. I love the sounds. I love the love that was put into it. I love the app. Well how can someone “LOVE” an app, you ask? Well. I do, and so will you. Get it and you can have the opportunity to love it too. What else is there about life to motivate us besides love.... nothing, of course. Just another unconditional love thing. A dog provokes that kind of love too. So play with your dog and play with Zeeon and wow what a great feeling.

MacOS Issues. I love this synth on my ipad but it's very buggy and broken to the point of being unusable on MacOS.

A Step From Perfect. This thing is the real deal, thick (t h i c c), rich sound and fantastic sound sculpting features, however it's missing some things that make it just shy of perfect in my book. No midi, which immediately kills it as a main synth for me. Some destinations missing from the matrix, most dissapointingly the distortion knob (for them gain swells). The LFOs and the delay time don't show the note they are playing in when synced, which would be great. Also, I would have really loved for a longer env time and slower LFOs, to make for really rich evolving pads. Having said that, it's only on its first release, and seeing the hands behind it makes me really hopeful for the future of Zeeon.

Inter-App Audio does not work. This is the worst $10 I have ever spent on the App Store. Complete rip-off. Does not work with GarageBand whatsoever.
