Working for me currently. Thank you so much for this! It is working on my Apple watch 3 and iPhone 8 plus right now. Synced an hour long podcast (takes a while be patient) and am listening now. Doesn't shut off when phone is off, or when the screen goes black on watch.

Slow and does not play in background. Downloaded this app to listen to podcasts while jogging, but play back issues make this not practical. If this issue could be solved, it would be well worth your time to download.

Needs to be fixed. The app pauses when your Apple Watch screen goes to sleep, which is most of the time, so the app is useless until this gets fixed.

Podcast Stops Playing. When I put my arm down by my side, podcasts stop playing. When I raise my wrist, podcasts start playing again. This obviously makes a watch app unusable. If fixed, this would be a great app but isn't because of this serious usability problem.

Syncing trouble. Syncing process is painful

Please keep supporting. This deserves 5-5. The Apple watch world is clamouring for a reliable podcast player for our series 3 running watchOS 4. We desperately want to be able to decouple from our phones when we work out and run listening to our favorite podcasts. This app promises that by allowing a user to download a podcast to their watch and listen in the background while running o working out. Unfortunately for the life of me I can't get that to happen. The podcasts remain in syncing mode for hours. Doesn't matter if I try Bluetooth syncing or wifi. Running iOS 11 and watchOS 4 on a new GPS+Cellular series 3. Update: managed to get them to finally sync to my watch. Worked when my watch was charging. They playback too but not in the background :(. Still low value to me since they don't play in the background. Happy to be a Beta tester in TestFlight to work out kinks.

Must Needed App since Apple Refuses. Since Apple refuses to add a podcast app for the watch, this is a must needed app. The only thing I’d like to see added is a progress bar to show when a podcast is syncing.

Doesn’t work. The podcasts sync, but when the watch goes to sleep, the podcast stops working!

Doesn’t work. Took forever to download to podcast and then it kept saying my headphones weren’t connected when they were and worked on my music on the watch

Thank You!!. Just got my first Apple Watch last night and synced my compatible apps to it and literally yelled out,”Nooooo!” when I didn’t see the podcast app that I see and use EVERYDAY on my phone. I checked out a few apps that were supposed to let me listen to my podcasts, but the reviews were very discouraging to say the least. But then I found THIS beautiful thing! Within a few mins a had a podcast(1 hr and 22 mins) downloaded and after another I was listening to it. Great app! Thank you so much!!

Great idea....low volume with AirPods.. Basically unusable for running due to lowered volume. Unable to increase to normal.

Too must frustration. I got excited when I saw I could finally listen to my favorite podcasts on my watch during my workouts. I downloaded the ap, loaded up my podcasts, went out to run and it didn’t work. I had to come back home to see if I could fix it. Felt like I got my mouth watering for a burger, then took a bite only to find out it was plastic. I looked on my phone to see if there were rules. I read the disclaimer of how you should NOT try to push play. Strange, but whatever. I kept trying different things and thirty minutes after I was supposed to be working out, I’m at home writing a review instead of exercising. Very disappointed.

Download app daily. Great when it works but have to download app again daily to do so. Please debug this issue

Useful but lack of download progress bar. It’s really useful app but could you please add a download progress bar to show how much have been synced and low long it will take to finish the syncing? It’s really frustrating to wait for sync without knowing any of the progress...

What am I missing?. Amazing app. Gorgeous icon. Easy to use. Plays over the speaker which is amazing. Stops playing when Watch face goes to sleep. Amazing amazing app but it’s kind of useless if it doesn’t play when the Watch is off. Update: now plays in background + more star. Really liked the old icon and ability to listen over Watch speaker but guessing that’s why it wouldn’t play in the background. Bring back the old icon!! Otherwise this app is almost perfect!

Audio fades. Audio stops as soon as I put my wrist down very frustrating when trying to work out.

Big missing piece filled on watch. Great app. Though I have noticed that occasionally a synced podcast will no disappear on watch after awhile, but will show in app on iPhone that it is synced. Otherwise, thanks.

Can’t get it to work. I wish this worked. It’s a great idea. My podcasts have been syncing for 2 hours already and nothing has changed

Glitchy at best. Was great during my initial use, then it kept holding onto my podcasts as "pending" instead of syncing. Updated today and it is now stating the app doesn't exist on the watch, which is correct. Can't get app to appear on my watch. Developers, any suggestions?

Won’t connect. I can’t get my app to connect to my podcast app and I don’t see any faq or support to get help. Disappointed. I’d really like this to work.

Will not play. Not sure what is wrong but the podcasts synced but when I open one to play, the run time flashes and then turns to 0:00. It is like the data just disappears and won’t play. Wish I could figure out what is wrong because I love the concept.

Confused.. Downloaded app, it shows my podcast from phone. When I go to download something it just says pending. Have uninstalled reinstalled to no avail. Even put watch on charger thinking that's what it needs to sync, still nothing. Is this app supposed to show up on watch, because I don't see it. Not very user friendly

Not bad. It's not bad but what would make it better would be to figure out how to put forward and backward buttons if you want to relisten to a podcast or skip to the next one, to be able to delete a podcast directly from the Apple watch, and fix it where the episodes aren't mixed up. I pick one and it plays a different one instead.

Thanks for making this. I was about to build this app myself, but then decided to see if someone else already had (until Apple decides to do this themselves- not sure why they haven't). Glad I did :) Suggested improvements: - Better status for syncing. Progress bar.. noticed some bugs with the state of the sync not updating - Better UX for selecting a podcast and also auto-update. You should try and mirror the Apple UI. You should be able to interact directly on the first screen. - Full podcast library (not episodes but subscriptions). I noticed a bunch of my podcasts were missing that I wanted to turn auto-sync on for- it appears to only show recent/explicitly "saved" podcasts? - Get a real website so I can send you feedback via email - if you aren't looking to monetize, open source this por favor :) Just downloaded it and will probably have more feedback when I use it more

Buggy. Wish it worked better

Great if it works. A little confusing at first. Get the handle and it adequately moves podcasts to your watch. After a few days it just got stuck and never worked again.

Working. So far it’s working to sync casts to my Apple Watch while the apples own podcast app will not.

Didn't work 0 instructions. Could not get this app to work. Look elsewhere

Doesn’t work. Been waiting 1.5 hours to download a 1 hour podcast. It says transferring and be patient. I’m not going to be that patient for each podcast.

Easy syncing but playback doesn’t work. I was able to quickly find and automatically sync the newest episodes, which is great, but unfortunately as soon as you put your wrist to your side the app stops playing. So this is completely useless. If fixed I would give it four stars.

This is the missing app!. There are some issues that I haven't determined the cause of, I had to restart my watch to get the audio to go to my Powerbeats 3........... Other than that, it's quick enough, painless, and a clean simple recognizable UI. Keep up the work!

Shows great potential!. Great app! Wish it would show a status during syncing rather than just say "syncing." Not sure if it was working or not as it seems to take a long time to syyyyyyynnnnnnnncccccccc. Looking forward to updates and improvements.

Fills a very missing gap on the watch. Works great. Being able to listen to podcasts on my watch without my phone is awesome. Still needs a bit of polish so I hope author keeps working in it. Can't seem to update my list of podcast subscriptions.

Doesn’t work in watchOS 4. Playback ends when screen is dimmed making it useless.

Playback stops when I lower my wrist. Not sure why this happens but it doesn’t play when I lower my wrist. Can’t find any setting for background app refresh either. Not sure if that has anything to do with it

Still a bit buggy but great app!!!. Only app allowing currently to sync podcasts to Apple Watch. It takes a while to sync, whenever updated app comes out you need to reinstall both one on iPhone and on watch for it to work properly. But I don’t complain because listening to podcasts directly from watch is so much more convenient in the gym or while running.
