Take this app down. Awful. Deceptive and Apple should remove this immediately. I’m writing them.

Good start. Needs to cough up more than one suggestion, preferably by showing a map with stations laid so, when traveling, one can anticipate the next likely station.

Great app when traveling. Great to be able to find NPR while on long road trips.

Limited station choices. Driving across USA/CANADA to Alaska and back to Florida. During our first 19000 miles it was helpful. Need to give more options so as we drive along we can update. Making our trip more enjoyable, thanks

Better off just doing a google search. We traveled to 22 states last year. Thought this app would be great, but it did not accurately tell us the local npr station 75% of the time. Pointless. The developers should be embarrassed!

Wholly inaccurate location. I've been waiting for a new NPR station finder, but this app keeps returning an Indiana station while I'm diving through Maryland. I hope they fix this basic location glitch.

Doesn’t show all stations. I just downloaded this app. It gave me one station out of 3 that are available in my area and no obvious way to look for others. I will not keep this app.

It's Good: by Dp of PMG. The NPR Station Locator works Good, but sometimes when I tune to the Station reception Is weak and I keep in mind Terrain and being in motion can reduce good reception.

Only lists one station. It would be better if it listed all the stations in the area with reception bars like it used to.

Limited. Only one lists one station and often not repeaters or translators. For example at my home, the one it lists, I cannot listen to. But I can get five other ones.

Never located a station. Does not work.

Why only one station? Very incomplete.. I just put 2,700 on the road for vacation and was continually frustrated with the limits of the app. It only lists ONE station for any and all geographic areas, when I know for a fact many of the areas I was in have two or three stations. Many times it was the NPR classical station presented, but a quick radio scan makes it pretty easy to find a classical station on my own. With so many variations of NPR news stations’ schedules, especially on the weekend, to not list THAT station made the app almost worthless. A good idea with poor execution.

Needs to be updated!! Come on people. Update this needed app so it works again!

Terrible app!. Doesn’t work! Sent me TWICE to hip-hop stations (nothing wrong with hip-hop but not what I’m looking for) and only shows one station. The old app I had was MUCH better, IDK why/how this one replaced it. DON’T BOTHER! Save yourself a ton of frustration and just use your radio’s seek/scan function! I gave it 1 star only because they won’t let me give it 0 stars!

Outdated app now nagware, maybe malware. When this app ceased working with the current iOS I deleted it, but now — even though the app is supposedly deleted from my iPhone— I routinely get a notice that “NPR finder needs to be updated: The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of iOS”. I get the option to keep or delete it (which is odd since I already deleted it). So I re-delete it, only to get the same notice every time I visit the App Store. It has become nagware and I am worried that it has somehow left code / malware on my phone since I can’t get rid of it.

Used to be able to see multiple stations. When I first got this app, I could choose among multiple stations. Now I see only one, the local FM station which has only classical music. We have an AM station with all the favorite NPR programs. Can’t see that on the finder. It is now worthless when I travel.

Little to none information. It only shows ONE station, and no information about it. And it’s not necessarily the best and clear reception. Disappointed and would suggest to work out the lack of features. How about you make it “open source “ and let the listeners add information, not unlike WIKIPEDIA?

Stupid. Only 1 listed. Just deleted the app. 95% useless!

Needs to work with Apple CarPlay. I listen to NPR whenever I am driving. Recently had the newly-issued Apple CarPlay installed in my car. Found out that the app is not programmed to work with Apple CarPlay. Would really love it if your company would update app features to include Apple Carplay access.

Bare minimum. It shows one station. That's it. No strength indicator. No station description, not even a URL. Those things and other nearby stations are what's called for. Please be at least as informative as googling "NPR stations near me".

Great idea but needs work. My wife and I travel frequently. The app always shows a station, but 30 to 40 % of the time the station cannot be located on the radio.

Ok, but.... Works quickly, but only shows one station. In a given area, it brings up the closest station. But, if there is a news station in addition to a classical station, you'd never know it. I'd like to see the top 2 or 3 with a word or two on its preferred genre. Thanks!

High hopes fall short. I love NPR frustrated this app doesn’t work better. 70+% of time it doesn’t work at finding a station on our travels and when it does give me a station number it’s not npr.

Wrong station. It does not give me the closest station. Instead of a station 15 miles away , it gives me one 40 miles away. I don’t know how to tell it to give me a list and let me choose,if it is even able to do that. Apps for amateur radio repeaters use that approach.

Terrible.... I say its terrible because, in the previous version you could see ALL the NPR stations in your area. Not just one. Go back to listing multiple stations please!

Only one station. Not useful when traveling. I travel full time and like to listen to load npr news stations. If the nearest npr station is a music station, it’s not at all helpful. It should show all the nearby stations to be more useful.

Close to useless when driving.... Spent about 12 hours driving from northern New Mexico to Dallas, and the information received through the app about accessible “nearby” NPR station was next to useless. Not a fan...

It’s fast and it’s accurate. And that’s all I need. The discontinued app I used to use took forever. This comes up instantly.

Great help to find NPR. I travel a lot and I always depend on this app to find the GREAT news on NPR.

Old version was better.. In the old version it would list all the stations in the area. Often, one would could look at the list and test options. Now it just lists one.
