Using Advanced Heuristics AutoSleep works out how long you've slept so you don't have to.
If you DO wear your Watch to bed, you don't need to do a single thing. AutoSleep will track your sleep & quality and send you a notification in the morning once you unlock your iPhone.
Even if you don't wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep can track your time in bed. It's extremely simple.
If you DON'T wear your Watch to bed, then simply put your Watch on charge just before you go to sleep. As soon as you touch your iPhone or put your Watch back on in the morning then AutoSleep will know that you have finished sleeping.
A handy Today Widget lets you see how your own "batteries" are charged for last night and the previous seven days. A second (entirely optional) widget lets you also track the time you have taken to fall asleep.
As everyone is a little bit different. AutoSleep provides a simple setup wizard and an option to tweak if you are a very restless sleeper.
If you wear your Apple Watch to bed*, AutoSleep will also analyse your sleep quality. By using time asleep, restlessness, time awake and heart rate it can score the quality of your sleep and provide you with a comprehensive nightly analysis.
*Note. If you do not wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep simply captures the amount of time sleeping.
AutoSleep also works with HeartWatch our premier heart & activity monitoring app and writes your Sleep information to Apple Health.

This is THE App for sleep tracking. Apple should do more and have some form of sleep tracking but they don't.....so, get this app and it's automatically done. I shower in the morning and at night. I just charge up both times and wear my watch to bed. I also use Theatre Mode so my wrist won't wake up the watch at night. Works great and probably saves some battery life. I like the "Rings" utilization for viewing your sleep time, quality, heart rate avg and deep quantities. If I need to I can just open the app and tap lights off. Very nice and easy to use/navigate.
Better than most devices built to measure sleep. Very accurate and easy to use.

Works very well. Full of info and great UI. This is my 4th sleep app on 2 different types of wearable devices. This is the one I am sticking with for the future. So customizable along with easy to read and navigate thru your data.
I've been a long time user of Sleep Cycle (over 900 nights tracked) and consider it the gold standard. Beats others I've tried, hands down. This app produces essentially the same data, but without the possibility that your partner's noise/movements will affect the measurements. Other watch-based apps I tried were not sensitive enough, citing restful sleep basically all night, even though I know I roll over quite often. The data is easy to view and understand and is detailed enough to show you how it determined your sleep quality percentage.
Just discovered the legend in the day view: good execution. And the feature for fine tuning the app to my metabolism... Very 😎

Takes a little time to understand the legend but the info the app collects and provides is super helpful when tracking sleep quality
I love this app since it records without me setting anything up. Once in a while it misses sleep where I fell asleep watching tv but otherwise is pretty accurate. I do find that showing restlessness and deep sleep gives me insight into why I am tired some days and not others when I went to bed and woke up at similar times. When I get up briefly at night, it might register restless, but looking at the graph explains this. When I wake up and read for a couple of hours in the middle of the night, it catches this and records awake. Great app and has made my watch a full service device. Note: I have two Apple watches, one worn at night and the other in the day.
This app does a great job of tracking your sleep automatically, and it improves with every update. Great app, guys! Worth the buck or two they charge!
Apple should have included something like this out of the box.

This is about the best there is. The only app who tracks your sleeping habits without any presumed platform. The others flow one time a day sleeping regiment. Accurate and works great with Apple Watch. No need for bed placement of iPhone or under mat sensors. Great job guys!!
