Nope.. This game is totally over-complicated for no special reason and is just crap. Getting through chapter 2 is just impossible and jumping from wall to wall drops you even when you swipe correctly. Don’t. Buy. This. Game.

Good game. More complex than version 1. I wish it was easier to navigate, but a lot of fun.

Waiting. I finished the first chapter in about a week. The game is pretty fun, but I'm becoming bored. Chapter 2 is "coming soon" but I've been waiting since December.

Interesting so far. Can't wait to experience the rest. Upgrades are a great addition!

Just disappointing. As soon as I saw vector 2, I immediately bought it, seeing as I thought that Nekki is an amazing developer. I loved the first game for both it's astonishing free running mechanics and it's likable simplicity. It feels like both have been sacrificed in order to give the game a "new", "fresh" feel. I say that in quotation marks because although both the art design and the animations look stunning and vastly improved from the first game, it does lose much the first game had to offer. The free running mechanics, although seem as if they're from the first game, feel clunky and slow, and I feel like it's been done to show off the "pretty" animations. But I feel that this game isn't deserving of a better rating simply because of the mechanics. I loved the first vector game for its simplicity; evil corporation, odd one out, run from security. That's all. Completely told within one skippable cutscene when you open the game. Along with that, the confusing upgrade system feels tacked on, in order to give it a deeper façade. In conclusion, I feel that vector 2 needs a lot of polish, despite the smooth graphics. Until then, it gets a 2 star rating and 200mb of space freed from my phone.

Awesome!!. People will always complain.. so ignore them and enjoy this game!

Paid $2 for an UNFINISHED GAME. You did this last time, and I thought you improved. Long story short you sold me a game that has a good 3 hours of gameplay and then a 5 year wait for the next stage of the game to come out. Next time, release the WHOLE game and THEN sell it for money.

It’s Based On Luck, Not Skill. This is a great game in theory, but the problem is that if you don’t have some unbelievable luck, you won’t make it through all the levels. It’s barely based on skill because there are locks on doors, and if you weren’t lucky enough to have a key (which are rarely found) or a charge to break the door (which you need to level up to recharge and you can’t level up unless you get super lucky and get the right upgrades) and if you don’t have either of those, then you are guaranteed to lose at least one charge off some piece of armor. There is no way to avoid this. It isn’t based on skill, just dumb luck. I would get it if when you miss the lock it makes it very difficult to get through the area, but still possible.

Fixes. Great game, an ending would be desirable. But the game has some issues, like when the drones are chasing you. Even if you do everything right and get over every obstacle perfectly they still damage you and it is inevitable. This frustrates me especially when I’m so close to an objective and the game ends my run because the drones A.I. is messed up; or is it apart of the game to be killed for doing everything correct?

It was good before the update. The game was great before the update, with this new update the new maintenance floors are fantastic, however it's completely ruined by the game breaking bugs that causes the game to freeze almost every single time I try to play. I'm guess that the issue is with the new swarm enemy but I'm not too sure.

Disappointing sequel. This game could be so much more. The original Vector was awesome. It was so awesome that I shelled out money for Vector 2 Premium because I thought it was either going to be better than Vector or more of the same (which I would have been fine with). Instead Vector 2 turns into a freemium endless runner with an incomplete story. The gameplay is much of the same and even improves from the first game in a lot of areas, but the added content (and glitches) really kills the game for me. The darkness mechanic is stupid and only designed to kill you unfairly. The SWARM is kind of stupid but can be fixed by making it slightly slower so that with perfect play you can still escape. The key and lock mechanic is annoying, I don’t understand why you would do that unless it was for monetary gain. Finally, this game is glitchy. So many of them, and they come in a variety of effects. Some kill you when you don’t deserve it, others slightly bug the playing experience. All in all, I was really looking forward to a worthy Vector sequel, and instead I got this game. A far cry from what made the first game so good.

This was one hay of a ride.... When I saw this game getting a sequel I was very excited. Two minutes into “Vector 2” I was very confused. Apparently, they imprisoned the main character in a sleeping pod cell and now he’s awake and running around a facility? Most of the apps and games Nekki has are great, but this was just confusing and weird. But still, it was an okay game.

Question. What’s the actual difference between vector 2 and vector 2 premium version

Disappointing. I can not believe they went this route and completely destroyed Vector by making it a level up, micro transaction, confusing, buggy mess. I loved the first one but this is a total step back. I hate the leveling up and gear system, especially the fact that whenever you die it restarts everything. All you’re progress is lost. It doesn’t work for this game at all. It doesn’t work for this type of game, and there better leveling up and rpg games out there. Do not waste you’re money on this.

Finally get an update... Ruined game. Edit: they fixed some things. There is a small distance added to the bugs chasing it seems. And it isn't so dark when the lights go out. Finally they add a new maintenance chapter. Only problem is 90% of the obstacles are double blocked making it impossible to clear without using a gear charge. Also they have bug things chasing you now...one tiny misstep...another gear charge gone. And if that wasn't enough now the lights go out and you can't see anything and guess what...more charges spent. This used to be one of my favorite games. Now I can barely pass 1 floor at time. Need to remember first rule of games. They should be fun!!!

Can’t continue story. So I was paying the game and was doing the Reagents quest?/mission? I don’t know what you call anyway I finished it and the curator said go to floor 35 for the cure, so I went to the floor but the decontamination device didn’t pop up, but this type of issue popped up before with other missions so i shrugged it off as that, so reset or died so I could start back at floor 30 and ran all the way back to floor 35, yet it still didn’t pop up, so either A. It’s broken (or the more logical reason) B. The story has not made it that far so it’s still in development, I don’t know which one it is but besides that this is great game 4/5 reason it’s quite difficult like you have to have good reaction time and know when to jump, slide, or any other thing like that at the right moment, also the Swarm things need some slowing down there like too fast, I run by were they spawn at, not slowing down on anything and as soon as I pass it they come out and instantly hit me, like there just a little too fast, if you could slow them down by like 5% ish or 5%+ percent that would be great for all us fans, anyway good game keep it up.

Good. It improved animations and the gameplay change is nice. However the premade assets for procedural generation is becomes noticeable / repetitive after a while.

Terrible controls. The game would be really fun to play , if you could actually move. I shouldn’t have to press and swipe so hard I nearly break the screen just to jump up to a high level or wall vault. On top of that, floor 25 is literally impossible. There’s no way to make it to the reactor before it explodes.

Over complicated. They added a bunch of unnecessary crap.

What is this. I’m still getting adds. Why?

So disappointed. I loved the original Vector. It was the best. But now this crap came out. First of all you just have to be lucky to survive. The lock and key thing is pure bull crap. I absolutely hate it. It takes all the fun out of the game. And the missions are just way too hard and frustrating. I expected so much more Nekki. So much more. Edit: I just “finished” the game. And I put quotes because THE GAME IS UNFINISHED!! I mean like what?!! I’m on the maintenance floor and I just completed the reagents level and there is no MORE MISSIONS!! I’m so confused. Why would you sell an unfinished game?! Just don’t buy.

Pretty good. At first I though it was a little too complicated but after giving it a few more tries it started to make a bit more sense, overall a great game.

BLUE SCREEN. FIX IT PLEASEEEEEE. So i was playing Vector 2 one day when i was in the second chapter in the 5th mission and a blue screen appears and i wasnt able to play which forces me to delete the game, and this game needs an option of having your old account back. Please Nekki, fix that please

Blue screen bug on floor 19 first area. First time writing a review so I’ll do my best. Basically there’s a bug where if you play from floor 15 to 19 in the first area after unlocking the maintenance area, upon staring floor 19 you get a blue screen where you can’t do anything and you can’t do anything to fix it except delete the game and reset all your progress (which I’ve done once already). This is very disappointing to see after I’ve already payed money for this game. And I enjoy this game so I hope they fix it soon. Thanks Nekki, for creating this fun franchise though

Just stick to Vector. I bought this right away (like an idiot) because I'm a long time fan of Vector. This version is just a lot more upgrades that are worse than the first. The story is also very confusing. I was hoping for a sequel to the first story but I see all we get is a weird hacker thing with a confusing upgrade system. Don't get this one.

What the heck. Compared to the free game this is just the worst game I thought since the first game was amazing this would be good so I bought it and I was so disappointed and I saw little inferno came out I used my money on a piece of crap I would recommend the free one but this is one that is the biggest letdown I've had for years

Too confusing. I had no idea what was going on. Menu is confusing, the gameplay was meh. I didn't know how to get new tricks and I did not understand the story of it at all. I was so confused that I just uninstalled it.

Disappointing. Was a huge fan of the first one BEFORE THE IAP SYSTEM. After they introduced it to the game, it became a lot worse. Even so, this one cannot even compare to it. It is like the first one, but instead of the fun, you get to pay for everything. It's over complicated and the decks tried to substitute the poorly imagined premise with boring and wordy "upgrade system" where again you have the chance to give even more money to the greedy devs to fill their pockets. Don't buy.

Good, but has bugs and Quality of Life issues. The gameplay itself is very good, an improvement on the original in every way. However, everytime I want to play I cannot skip the opening cutscene and all the achievements I have earned pop back up on top of the screen. This just makes it harder to get to the game at its best, which is just jumping straight into the action. I also have encountered a bug at Level 29 of Labs where after loading the level, I will be shown a blue screen with my charges at the top and all I can do is pause and unpause the game; there is no sound and I don’t move or at least don’t take damage so I can’t die and reset. Please fix

Just to sophisticated. I downloaded the game and I was like " oh crap the new vector came out it looks so cool!" I bought it and started playing and was like where's the guy that chases you? And all it is is just running and dying . It's just too hard and too sophisticated. The original vector was WAYYY better. But good try nekki

Nice game but.... This is a really fun game but I gotta say, I was expecting something a bit better. Vector one was amazing and this game just has a few problems. One, I really wish that there was less traps and a guy chasing you. I think that the guard chasing you made vector 1 the awesome game that it is. Pls make better

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. As a person who enjoyed the first vector and wanted to know what happens next, I feel sort of let down. It felt good to have the simple stuff goin but now there’s armor, and u can’t buy tricks in advance. U have to get them from crates and micro transactions. Like you can’t enjoy the game without draining your bank account. But... it’s still an ok game tho

Wish it was more like the original. It's a fun game don't get me wrong, but I wish it could be more like the original vector. This game does not have a chase man, you just run.

Ignore the haters. Vector 2 is better than the first! The controls are more fluid, the beginning makes you theorize about the gap between Vector and Vector 2. The negative reviews were probably made by people who played the game for 5 seconds and were instantly confused. Alas, the game isn't fully done, but the game DOES have potential. Don't let us down Nekki.

Fantastic Concept. I have adored this game since it's arrival a few years back. I don't know why, but I have beaten this game at least three times. So, coming from a pretty much obsessive fan, I will totally let this game stick around. The ways this app and Vector 1 is structured are a bit different, but that makes it even more fun and less predictable, like some sequels to apps are. It is blatantly a continuation to the other game, so we can finally figure out what happens from where we left off in Vector 1. However, it is a bit of a blend between an infinite runner and the original game, and I love it. Still trying to figure out the purpose of upgrades, but this game, all in all, is totally worth it and you should spend the 2 bucks it takes to download it.

Bugs. Problem where the screen goes blue and I can’t do anything at all. I’ll try deleting and redownloading it

Vector 2. Great game I loved the first one but this one is even better. It's amazing there's so many things they added from the first on its like 100 times better and the last one was awesome

Blue screen. Every since the update theirs been some bugs such as missing platforms, blue screen of death that I'm am no longer able to play the game I really like the game and the new added stuff but until its fixed I'm no longer able to play the game :(

worth the wait😍. I remember when they first introduced Vector. It still is ahead of its time and Vector 2 has Surpassed the first. Both will keep you hands from aborting the fun they bring.

Not too shabby. Some people have really been trashing this game but it's not that bad. The first one is still better in my opinion but, what game isn't that way. Not so much on the parkour as much as upgrades in this game. Still worth it though. I enjoyed it.

Why?. So I love vector, well the first one. When I saw this one I bought it and started playing. Pretty easy at first...until I had to get to floor 8. I have to complete the contact and I need rank 5. Easy right? WRONG, I can't do most of the tricks since there locked and the only way to get these tricks is by getting these upgrade kits which have the lowest spawn rate. So what do you do? Buy them, and that means pay to win. Why nekki? Why did you do this? Oh I and forget about some stuff. First of all the traps. Ohhh the traps. These things are vector 2's hunter and they are annoying. Some of them are imposible. It's too the point where I'm not surprised anymore. Oh a wall of laser or look a floor full of mines...cool BOOM dead. And my second point keycards. These things are the bane of my existence. The locked doors appear so frequently and I don't have any keycards. They even appear straight off the bat. When I start floor 3 there is already a door needing a keycard. Take them out, make the keycards more frequent, or make the doors less frequent. Please fix your game. This is not worthy of being called a vector sequel

This game is awesome. I once played vector 1 around 2013, and I REALLY liked it. Now this game comes, so multiply my happiness by 100,000,000,000,000!!!!!!!!!!

We Miss the old Vector!!! 😫. As soon as I saw this it was downloading coz I loved the first one. I just got to playing it now and guess what- It was a bad game. Not only were the Upgrades and everything confusing, the more futuristic aspect of everything was just strange. The parkour moves are also confusing. And also what's up with the Long trip mine fields that you can't get past!!! If there will be a Vector 3 please go back to the basics!!!

To complicated. What made the first one so good was it was simple but fun, everything is too much from the gameplay to the mechanics

Great game, meh tutorial. First and foremost, this is a great game. I was disappointed to get a "to be continued" at the end of chapter 1, but I know that this game will be updated to provide as such, so I'm not worried about that. I'm excited to see what will happen next to the unnamed protagonist. Running is fun in the game, using the upgrades is fun too and is a nice touch. It's very different from the first game, but not in a terrible way. My only complaint: the tutorial. The upgrade system here is complicated, which isn't a bad thing (I've seen much worse), however with this complicated a system, you need a tutorial that can really introduce you step by step to all aspects of how this new system works. Instead it felt like I was thrust into the thick of it, and was forced through constant trial and error to figure out how this all works now. I think that seems to be why a lot of people are frustrated, cuz they're wondering what the absolute hell is going on. However once you figure it out (may take a little while), it becomes a very addicting game. I will say the story is slow, but I won't lower the rating because I know it's still being updated, so maybe the story will now pick up. Overall: great sequel, cool new upgrade system, just needs a better tutorial to get us into the game better. Looking forward to when more of the game is released! 4/5 stars

A Blue Screen Glitch. This is a very good game and I really enjoy the randomly generated maps. But I would like to report a glitch that happens, so far I have discovered that this only happens the start the of a running on the first location before construction. This is really annoying when I am trying to grind for all of the tricks that in the game. So please fix this glitch.

Bug. I’m stuck on floor 19 and it shows a blue screen when I try to play, I have tried deleting and reinstalling it and the bug is still there. 😭 PLS FIX IT 😭

Fun but rage inducing. I am a massive fan of the first game and I was more then excited to play this one. Positive: very fun and fluent parkour, procedurally generated levels which can give a lot of replay value, and AMAZING animations. Negative: the procedurally generated levels can cause some deaths that can't be avoided, the way that there is multiple paths is great but the key cards suck, if you don't have one, you'll die and have to start again, and I don't really understand the upgrade system. Over all it is quite fun, but this game still needs some fixes and adjustments

Awesome. Vector 2 is great!! I love upgrading my equipment. The design and quality of the game is great. I like the new traps (e.g. Lasers, mines etc...). When unlocking a new trick you can upgrade it. The only problem I have is, I miss having the the guy behind me trying to catch me. But everything else is AWESOME!!

No tasks left. Another problem I encounter with the game is that there is no talks about collecting something on level 35 and there is no task about it can you fix these glitches so I can complete the game. Thanks

Acceptable but poor. This game could have been a lot better than what it is. Players who played the first vector game will probably dislike this game as the levels are randomly generated not hand made and sometime force you to take damage. To counter the fact that the level is different every time they give the player health. They also have a route system in which you must use a item to get past a door otherwise you will be forced to take damage. There is no practise makes perfect and the constant repetition of the same level in order to get the best score possible. Most o ft he time the levels feel badly generated. Most of the difficulty come from jumping over mines lasers and air bombs and not vaulting over walls and objects. Finally there is nobody chasing you so mistakes are not to care for unless they are on a trap. The idea was good but it was executed poorly and sometimes feels pay to win. Basically what made the original Vector seems to have been stripped out leaving only the movement and sidescrolling left.

Did you know?. The Basic Protocol's Uniform Jacket's been changed into Plated Armor, with its name staying Uniform Jacket. Should you change the Armor back to the Jacket, or will you rename Uniform to Armor? A certain bug causes the entire game to turn to a dark shade of blue screen when playing at random intervals when starting the running sequence.

AMAZING, but.... This game is awesome! But there's just no getting past floor 15 and I have completed all the missions. I've gotten up to floor 26 and when I die, it goes straight back to floor 15. This is VERY annoying and I hate playing games that are repetitive, so please fix this! Thanks for reading! 🇱🇧

Too much pointless busy work. What the hell was wrong with the game style of the old vector escape none of this armour upgrade crap.

Terrible.. Well that's ruined the pristine legacy of Vector 1. Pretentious, over complicated, boring and unenjoyable. Why didn't you just carry on the original with new obstacles? I actually feel ripped off and it was only $1.99. 👎
