These people know how to design and build an app. This is the best designed app I’ve ever used. I’ve actually worked on competitors apps (as well as other, non-healthcare iOS and horrible “cross-platform” apps) and I think this is awesome. Great functionality and very intuitive - the user experience team and the implementation team gets five stars. Thanks Carbon!

Terrible service. I was exposed to RSV and told the medical staff when I went in. They told me I most likely had strep throat and prescribed me antibiotics that I later find out were useless since I had a viral infection (most likely RSV). They also did not answer my questions until a day later after asking on the app since my symptoms did not improve with the medication they prescribed. The medical assistant who took my vitals seems more sick than me and was coughing up a storm. They only put on a mask when they noticed I was uncomfortable. Overall do not recommend going through them. Find a primary care doctor this is the McDonald quality of the medical field.

What a waste. I found this place because they said they have an at home coronavirus test and overnight shipping. That sounded great because I didn’t want to have to wait a week for results. So I decided to pay the nearly $200 for the convenience. First, it took them three days to approve my case and send the test, when they told me after taking the survey and buying the test that I already was approved. Then I finally got the test kit and sent it back and it’s been three days now with no updates, I don’t even know if they’ve received it. Also, they prompted me to set up an appointment with a doctor via zoom so I did, and the doctor told me he suggested I wait another day before taking a test...and this appointment was the day after I had already sent it back.

Confusing to setup and refuses to save the password. Maybe it is just me, but I had a dreadful time setting this up once I went to the center for a test. It kept asking me for a password, as I was trying to set it up as if I was a returning user. I went to forgot my password, which just sent me around and around. Once I was able to get on, the app does not save the randomly generated password, which sent me right back to the beginning of not knowing my password. I’ve spent more than 45 minutes trying to get my lab results and finally ended up just going back to the clinic to find out what they were.

Inconsistent service. Facilities look good and people nice but very poorly run. I’ve tried multiple locations and both have had sudden office closures with no notice due to staffing problems, after check surprised me with 1.5 hour wait time before my scheduled appt, and now for COVID test disregarded what my plan, BlueCross Blue Shield, told me that COVId test for medical reasons covered and tried to make me pay out of pocket. Management must be really poor. The app often also isn’t synced to office operations and app itself makes you repeat same questions every time you make an appointment. Took short cuts in developing it. Overall really poor experience.

Amazing service. I have spent six hours and went to nine locations today to get a COVID-19 test and was rejected by everyone because i am uninsured or don’t have the right documents. Carbon was able to get me an order within an hour to be tested. I was so please with all of the customer service and the kindness of everyone. It was quick and easy. I can not recommend them enough!!

Great affordable resource. This app really helped me out when I was in a pinch and needed care ASAP. It was quick and easy. I felt heard and seen, even though I only communicated with the doctor over text. They checked back in with me weekly and asked how my symptoms were doing to insure progress. I ended up needing additional prescriptions because my symptoms were reoccurring, and they quickly responded and got additional information so they could reassess and re-prescribe. I was very pleased with the communication, ease, and affordability.

App needs more work. As a new customer to potentially use Carbon Health, I downloaded the app on iPhone and entered myself as a new patient. I went to schedule an appointment and scanned my insurance card - it recognized the data but there was no “continue” button and I was stuck. I tried it 3 more times until I had to go back and enter it all in manually in order to move forward. By that time the appointment was gone. I then went back to schedule the appointment from the start but I could not enter myself as the patient because it was forcing me to use my wife’s name as it was under her insurance. I gave up and deleted the app.

Visit to Clinic for X-Ray. Receptionist very kind and helpful. I was having problems getting everything filled out and she was extremely patient. Was taken back by Drew, the x-ray technician. He did my vitals and we talked about what was going on. He then brought in PA, Donald. We talked then Drew came and got me for x-ray. Back to Donald to explain what they found. He explained things so they made sense to me. Very easy to understand. The best part for me was they were very professional but both had a wonderful sense of humor. I love to laugh and anytime I am with professionals with a great sense of humor it was puts me at ease. The whole process was very quick and easy. This was my first visit to this clinic but would highly recommend it. dz

Not Happy!. My doctor’s office suggested a virtual visit; because I think I have something contagious and it is the weekend. So I did as the triage nurse suggested, and found myself with Carbon. AFTER congratulating and informing me that they do “accept”my insurance; and AFTER I went through the arduous process of filling in my whole life history, symptoms, meds, etc., I was informed that they are “not accepting insurance payments at this time”. Why not mention that sooner? (And, of course, this came after I had already put in my credit card information.) And why was there no appointment cancel selection? I had to write a message. Fortunately I heard back immediately that my appointment had been cancelled. It is not easy to upset me. I am very unhappy with the insensitivity of the online questionnaire. (I am older, so I already find electronic things stressful.) I am a nurse; so poor medical customer service and insensitivity cause me to gnash my teeth! Thank you.

Change is GOOD!!!. I’ve been taking my daughter to this location for sometime and I am going to say that since becoming CARBON HEALTH?? OMG !! All the staff, the Dr.s the PA.s everyone there have such a wonderful great upbeat attitude. And it may be the exact same staff and Dr.s but in either case? I love all the results start to finish at Carbon Health Palm Desert! The addition of there new electronic app. ? Genius and so easy to navigate. Good job Carbon Health!!

Was impressed… and pleasantly surprised.. Heard about Carbon from my friend who took her mom in for a foot injury and got an appointment in 2 days. I have a weird cough that got me worried, and my regular local hospital said it would be 4 weeks to see my doc. Ummmm No Thank You. I got a SAME DAY appointment with Carbon and it was shockingly easy the whole process. They ran some tests and I’m getting an X-ray this week. Amazing. Why don’t more people know about this?!?!??? I’d go to the doctor more often if I knew it was this easy to get looked at. They were so responsive and communicative. Impressed!

Great service but very bad app. This is not a review for Carbon Health services. Those are great. This is a review of the app. The app is really bad to use, especially on large Max iPhones where navigation gets out of safe area. This makes app unusable. You cannot go back either by tapping on back chevron or by swiping from left edge. Any screen you go into, you cannot come back because the back chevron is under system status bar and untappable. I assume because the app is not developed with either UIKit or SwiftUI but a mere wrapper to a web app. Although it’s not ideal to not use those frameworks, it’s acceptable if app is still usable. This app is not. Every time I go into any detail screen, I’ve to kill and reopen the app cause back navigation or tapping X close button doesn’t work as those elements are under system status bar. Tab bar also sometimes goes behind the home bar and under the bottom edge of the screen making tabs untappable. If I’ve always use the website, why even bother installing an app? I’d recommend in testing app on all relevant devices. Also please integrate into Apple Health with HealthKit.

Sherry Czerniawski. This was my first time coming to Carbon and everything was extremely pleasant. From the front desk secretary being welcoming and sweet. To the NP who took my vitals, who was very thorough with a great personality! The doctor was outstanding! She made me feel so much better just by her confidence and knowledge alone! She wanting to see me again in 48 hrs to see if the medications she prescribed are helping made me feel 100% confident in her! I had an 8:15 appt and I was out by 9. Hardly had to wait to be seen and wasn’t stuck in a room waiting on the dr for 45 min like in other offices. She came in less than 5 min after the nurse! The appearance of the office was very neat, clean and sterile, but also gave off a comforting feeling… not cold ! My overall visit was great, and I will absolutely be coming back here in the future! TY Carbon !! 😊

Suffering for weeks. I came down with a very bad cold and tried for a few weeks to self care myself better to no avail. I reached out to carbon Health and they took me in immediately, took tests, and diagnosed I had a very bad sinus infection. They educated me on this condition and sent me home with a prescription that would help. I’m so thankful they were there for me. They are all nice and very helpful. I have made them my only place to go now for all my needs. Thank you again for being here in Simi Valley. T

App experience needs work. I appreciate that Carbon Health has been able to stream line intake and finding certain medical services. The app experience needs improvement, though. The navigation in the app is slow. There is insufficient feeeback while using the text chat feature. For example, it’s not clear if anyone will respond to your chat message or when. There is an odd hand-off between their bot and customer service personnel. I also was frustrated that their Covid testing centers, while well run, are not easy to find given the information in the app. In my case I had an appointment at a testing center for which the app had an address of a nearby restaurant. It took wandering around in the car for a while to find there tents, which were only subtlety marked with the carbon health logo. So, the overall concept is a step up from working through a Health System, but still leaves a lot to be desired when compared to other digital experiences.

Great experience!. I had a visit with the Carbon Health in Marina Del Rey on Wednesday. The office was a very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. Ashly the receptionist very sweet and helpful. The wait time to be seen was very reasonable. The provider Samantha was very thorough, and I liked her treatment plan. Their PCR Covid test results came back in Less than two hours. The only problem I had was with online scheduling that kept rebooting and never scheduled me, so I went in the office as a walk-in. The next day I received a text message that I have been scheduled for the previous day! :) Overall I had a great experience and I highly recommend this office.

L Prevulsky. The app is very user friendly and the HB clinical site has a wonderful team. I had a very easy time making appointment and my doctor and nurse were friendly and helpful taking care of my health needs. I’ve been to this site several times and I have to say they are really consistent on great services. The front desk was also very friendly. TY

Dont trust them. I placed an order for a travel covid test with guaranteed results by 2 pm next day that were supposed to be emailed to me. 2 pm comes around and theres no email. I call them twice, nobody answers. At this point, my flight leaves soon and I need to go to another testing center for a rapid travel test. Finally I get through to somebody on the phone who says it is available in the app, and that they never promised to email it. Even though they emailed my receipt. This is nonsense, now I’m stuck with 2 tests because they gave incorrect information and don’t answer their phones

Great experience. I had a sore throat and needed an apt asap. I found this place online and it was extremely easy to book an apt. I even had to change it once and that was easy too. All the ladies were very friendly and the place is very clean. I felt like both ladies I spoke with asked me a lot of questions and I didn’t feel rushed. The app they communicate on makes everything so easy as well. I highly recommend and will be back next time I’m feeling sick.

Totally recommend it!. Finally, healthcare has become mobile and convenient. Within minutes, Carbon app allowed me to book an appointment at one of its clinics. It was super easy to set up and when I went to the clinic all of my information was already there. So, I did not wait or fill out any extra forms. I was in the exam room at the exact booking time. It was a problem-free healthcare experience which is very very uncommon. Will use Carbon when I need it!

Follow Up Care Not Great. Prescriptions were not called in after I left and I was told they would be ready in an hour? After making a call into a “call center” 1 1/2 hours while at the pharmacy, I was told the prescriptions had not been called in yet (while the app said the prescriptions had been filled at a random pharmacy I had never heard of in Culver City, an hour from where I live?) 4 hours later I realized I am in trouble as 22 hours of alternating Tylenol, Ibuprofin & Aleeve have had no effect on a throbbing ear ache and no sleep. The “call center” says someone will call me to discuss calling in a prescription for pain. Instead of calling they are leaving me messages on the app which I would have no way of knowing? After another hour and a half of not receiving a call, I call back to the call center to be told to check the messages on my app. At this point, they are 1 hour from closing for the night. I send the obligatory texts back. They finally call me 15 minutes before closing. I am resigned to going back to my essential oils - tea tree, oregano, garlic with olive oil to hopefully find any type of pain relief so maybe I can sleep until the antibiotics kick in in another 24 hours…unbelievable & we are supposed to be called “PATIENTS” - I have lost my patience & I just need some relief!!!

Terrible service & bad app structure. My appointment was cancelled 15 minutes before I was supposed to get there. The reason given was that I needed a primary care visit first, before getting a booster vaccine. Two things about that: 1. If they told me that a week ago, when I booked the appointment, I would happily have done both. That’s the job of a good healthcare app - to route me through the policies and procedures of a practice before I get there to make the experience more seamless. Instead they just cancelled same day. 2. You don’t need a primary care visits to get a TDAP vaccine. Truly. It’s a very common booster shot that adults get so they can be around babies and unvaccinated people. Carbon health wants me to get an appointment purely for revenue purposes. They’re paid more when I see a doctor than when an NP gives me a shot. I had hoped Carbon health might provide a new way of thinking about healthcare. But it’s clear that the health and safety of their patients and community are way less important than revenue.

Disappointed. Usually Carbon health is great but this time- not so. My partner tested at home for COVID, came back positive - I took him to carbon health and he was happy with them. Prescribed meds. Two days later I had symptoms and went to same facility. I told them I tested positive at home. Everyone was nice - but no one gave me a COVID test to verify if I had it or not, nor did they take my temperature. They asked if I was on any meds (no) and how much I weighed then handed me the COVID meds. I don’t think they really took any time to ask about symptoms, explain isolation practices, masking or how long I needed to quarantine or when I could go get the next booster. It was like they really didn’t care. The office wasn’t busy. Am disappointed in their care.

UNBELIEVABLE CARE. I went to the urgent care on Galena today with symptoms of COVID-19. From the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out, The staff’s professionalism and demeanor was exemplary. I Felt like they were treating me as if they were treating their own family. I cannot thank you enough to the doctor, medical assistant, front office representative, and x-ray technician for the compassionate care I received today. Again many thanks for being on the front line. God bless

CARBON HEALTH. My wife had a February 25, 2021 appointment for her 1st Moderna Vaccine injection at Dodger Stadium, & even though I could not secure an appointment for the same day, I went along. Everyone was so organized & agreeable that they surprised me with my 1st shot also, as my appointment was not until January 29, 2021. There are no words as to how impressed we both were with the professional ability of everyone in the Carbon Health group at Dodger Stadium, & we look forward to renewing this experience with our 2nd & final dose. It is a shame occurrences of this nature have to present themselves, but it is rewarding & fascinating to see how our City & State arise to overcome the circumstances & challenge they are presented. Thank you Carbon Health!

Excellent Doctor & caring Staff. Arriving somewhere feeling ill is never a great feeling. I was well the weight wasn’t terribly long, despite the holiday and Doctor Jancay was efficient and got me back feeling better in the shortest amount of time for any visit I have had. My prescriptions were waiting at the pharmacy, I couldn’t ask for more. It was a pleasure under the circumstances to go to Carbon health.

Great wound care. Took my five year old, and he needed to get multiple stitches on his face. They were kind, calm and compassionate and true Lifesavers. I would definitely go back there again, and I trust them with my child’s well-being. it’s amazing that one can schedule a same day appointment and get such personalize care through an app.

Horrible user experience on App. I was three days in during my Covid battle and thought this would be a great idea to speak to live person. I went through all the steps to sign up. Then made the appointment meant. All great until I received a message that said hadn’t received my medical history and they were cancelling my appointment. I checked on website and app to try and understand what they were asking for. Could find NOTHING on the app or website to fill out and submit/upload medical history. So frustrating. After texting for help finally heard back 12 hours later. With extensive instructions. So frustrating. Deleted app. Wish I hadn’t given them all my personal information.

Overcrowded of past. Great app for the most part, but lacks the option to delete. For example, delete past appointments (or hide them) so that I don’t have to scroll through to find my upcoming ones. Delete past prescription notifications. Delete past messages. Maybe the doctors and nurses can view from their side for reference, but patients/app users can consolidate past prescriptions/reminders/appointments into one category or thread. Also, I finished a prescription two months but still get notifications for it because the app doesn’t tell me how to delete or stop it.

Buggy + no response from staff. Shocked at how buggy this app is. I last used it years ago and it was bad then, but doesn’t seem to have changed in the meantime. Pages don’t load, I can’t type a reply, graphics are glitched out, etc. More worryingly, I have a huge problem getting anyone to actually respond to me. Sending messages through the app feel like they go into the ether. I thought the whole point of telehealth was the promise of fast access to information virtually? A few messages I sent a week+ ago have yet to get a response. Disappointed in the level of service here.

Weird Messages Functionality. The app works well, there just seems to be a rather big hole in the messages function. It appears that you can’t start a new message to ask for help or assistance. You can only reply to messages you’ve received. Since Carbon Health either doesn’t have a customer service phone #, or it’s incredibly hard to find, being able to message someone at Carbon Health with questions seems like it would be a priority. No complaints otherwise.

Everything I need. This app is great! I especially like the notifications. I knew the minute my labs were in just by looking at the app icon on my home screen, I didn’t have to keep opening the app to look for updates. It is very easy to use with the categories I can choose what I want to see. Another unexpected but very useful tool is the message bar allowing you to communicate, and I was sent follow up communications asking how my day was and how I was doing. I appreciated that it is locked with my fingerprint so that I don’t have to worry about anyone else looking at my information. The staff at this place was knowledgeable, very kind and considerate. Awesome app

Convenient, but lacks quality.. While it’s nice to have everything centralized in one place and easily accessible, it’s still difficult to try and get an immediate response regarding questions. My first visit at a location with labs, the nurse who took the samples did not label them right, and they were unable to know which area of my body the samples came from. So I would love to go back and get another sample. She also was able to draw my blood and I guess was missing my veins, I have large veins too!

Inefficienct waste of time. App doesn’t work.. I expected a seamless experience, but it has been a complete waste of time. To expedite my first visit, I signed up for an online account through the Carbon app and completed a plethora of forms regarding my health (about 1.5 hours before my appointment). When my appointment was approaching, I received messages on the app from the team asking for forms to be completed, and they were the exact ones that I had completed not too long ago. (I did not, as I did not want to waste my time on a malfunctioning tech platform). During my appointment, I was repeatedly asked questions I had already answered in my forms (ex. COVID vaccines and dates). After my visit, I continued to receive messages on the app from the team to complete forms I had already completed. No one can answer my questions as to where my previously completed forms went. Overall, Carbon Health is selling the illusion of being a tech-oriented medical platform, but in actuality creates much more inefficiency and wasted time. It would have been better for me to use a traditional health care provider and answer the questions once in-person, as opposed to being tricked into thinking I was saving time only to waste more of it. The visit itself was okay.

Wow just wow!!!. I went in stressed about a possible infection and came out stress free! The whole setting of this place is just amazing and so relaxing. It’s so clean, so welcoming, and this app is everything! I wish I could connect all of my medical history/doctors to this app! It’s so clean and useful. Souka was so friendly and attentive at the front desk, and Tess made sure I was taken care of!! I would recommend everyone to this place, best healthcare visit I’ve ever had :)

Treated for a non coagulating vein/hemorrhage. My name is Pauline Heinselman, I needed treatment for a hemorrhagic vein which was not coagulating. The front desk representative, Miss Shekina, showed genuine interest and immediately processed what was necessary to ready my care with competent and professional behavior. I was triaged by MA Ruth and shortly after, I was seen by PA Brad Winkel. I am myself a medical professional, as a now retired Respiratory Therapist, and desirous to share my experience with PA Winkel. He is exceptional as he delivered an effectual treatment to the very concerning medical issue I presented. He remained, calm, composed, and yet relational, not aloof, and asked the right questions to obtain needful information in order to formulate a specific and appropriate treatment. There is more: He delivered the treatment with compassion which he exemplified by making sure I am well, feeling well while being treated, while remaining in communication with the patient, me. Please understand, PA Winkel and his Staff are competent and effectual in their duties. I would readily, but not without due respect, call him “A Gentleman who heals both, body and soul, with his Medical and professional expertise and also character strengths and values”. I am thankful I met PA Winkel and his staff and consider myself a blessed and fortunate individual to have been the recipient of his care.

Help my account is disabled how can i fix it. Please help me fix my account i have bee trying to login to my account but it keeps telling me my account is disable I try resetting the password but every time i click on the link that i got on the email it tells me that i need to use a non expired link to reset my password and it said to contact central support but there is no phone number or an email to contact them. Please HELP me fix this problem

The Apple of Heakthcare. If there were an Apple of healthcare, Carbon Health is it! They seemingly exploded out of nowhere. Easy, fast and assessable. appointment making-I always get in same day; no nonsense check in; great nurses and providers; and COVID PCR test results in an hour. They treated me for UTIs, a sinus infection and more. I still use my primary care for bigger stuff like my physical or if I need to be referred to a specialist, but I know I don’t have to bug her with all the smaller stuff. I’m sure Carbon Health can help with anything and everything! I just use an integrated approach. I LOVE them!

Charged $69 and Unable to Assist. I used their service to have labs ordered, I expressed when scheduling the appointment as well as speaking to the virtual representative the reason for why I wanted to be seen. They advised me they are not accepting insurance and it was a mandatory charge of $69, just to join the call and have the provider tell me she cannot place the order for this and that I need to go to find another clinic. The provider was kind, however was late to the virtual appointment. When I expressed how this was a complete waste of my money and did not help at all, there was nothing they could do about the charge.

Very efficient facility. Went to Carbon today to get tested for Covid. I was the only patient in the reception area. The receptionist was very nice and quickly checked me in. The facility looks new and is very clean. The two medical personnel that treated me were also very nice and knowledgeable. Got my test results back in less than an hour! Will come here from now on for minor medical issues. So nice to not be at an urgent care with a room full of sick people.

Great job. I had been suffering from wild coughing since 2 weeks. I went to the urgent care. They gave me some medications, didn’t work . I went to the banner ER they didn’t know the reason of my bad cough. Finally I went ( after two terrible weeks) to the Carbon Health. I was checked by c.Gulotta, NP. She was great in hear decision and she prescribed 2 medications. I took them at night and the next day my cough became 80% Better. Thanks God and thank you Gulotta. Carbon Health should be proud of you.

Amazing. Carbon Health didn’t hit my radar screen until COVID vaccine scheduling came around. I don’t think I could have imagined that the digital infrastructure would be in place to facilitate a mass vaccination campaign. Not only was scheduling my vaccine easier than any other appointments in my life, the process at the site and the integration of the data on the ground and in app were on point. I received my paper vaccination record and my digital one immediately. Highly impressed. I see there is telehealth as well. Interested to give it a try.

Working out of state and felt safe.. One of most difficult things is working out of state and knowing at your fingertips you can get help. My provider is not like anyone else I’ve ever had. Even in the most remote of places she filled a prescription where translations were difficult let alone getting around. I felt safe and stress free the entire time I was gone. Thank you!

Great experience. This was my first time even hearing about Carbon. This morning at 6am, I was feeling sick with a sore throat and thought maybe I could have covid. I found carbon and was able to get a virtual appointment at 7am. The PA was nice but did think I should have the test given that I have a young baby. I was able to make an appointment at 11:20 same day, at a location that was 15 mins walk from my house. I was seen ontime, thoroughly checked out and given the rapid covid19 Abbott test and had results at 12:10. WOW!

Cancel. i was struggling with illness this harsh winter and needed to book an appointment to be seen and I rushed to relay my insurance info online as fast as possible to have proof of insurance, I rescheduled once because I didn’t have the documents ready. A very kind desk assistant helped me to cancel upon realizing that my insurance was not accepted. I was not charged a fee for cancelling because i wasn’t aware medi-cal was not accepted. thank you Jenae . You’re a big help!

Nice ui, some functionality issues. The design of the back buttons are too high up, please make sure to it’s applicable with the iPhones design of the curvature at the top. There is also no copy/paste feature. When I was transferring documents I really needed to use a copy, paste feature which the app should have. Another issue was uploading an image that requires cropping to a square is also not that user friendly when I’m sending over documents, there will be missing info and I have to send an extra photo to include that missing info. That takes more time and effort when the system could just accept larger images. Please fix these issues.

Low cost/excellent service.. With Covid going on I was not looking forward to stepping into any doctors office nor clinic to have my spider bite, which was gettting worse, tended to. When I found Carbon I was elated. Truly. First, for the same day telemedicine call & the ease it was to submit my info & photo of the bite prior to our discussion. The discussion was thorough & within hours I had the needed antibiotics. To note: I am not a big Western Medicine person so I appreciated the fact the N.P was not quick to write a script for antibiotics. Thus, feeling she was very thorough. The cost of the telemedicine appointment & the generic antibiotic (2 separate prescriptions) was less than $90! ~ M

Amazing service!. I’ve been having a pretty severe case of a bacterial infection or bronchitis. My doctor referred me to Carbon bc they do have coronavirus tests. I went in and they saw me - no copay! - gave me the flu test, negative. Took some chest x rays which were luckily negative too. So probably not corona and I get it, I’m a young female so they didn’t give me a test but did give me medication bc they think its a bacterial infection. They’ve been follow up texting with me and my shortness of breath has gotten worse so they’ve given me more instructions and medication to address the symptoms and asked me to come in if it doesn’t get better soon - I have a preexisting condition (asthma). ANYWAYS the point is the app is great and very user friendly. I’ve gotten responses within 4 hours every single time. I was able to come in for an appointment within 24 hours. The appointment took less than 1 hour and involved a flu test and a chest x day. They’ve followed up every couple days. Everyone I’ve talked to is just amazing and gracious. They send the prescriptions to my local pharmacy at the click of a button. It’s an amazing healthcare experience ESPECIALLY during these crazy Coronavirus times. I know I’m unlikely to die of whatever this is and I know the medical system is overwhelmed and I’m grateful to have had good, FREE (to me, my insurance will pick up the bill per govt mandate) and QUICK care. Mrs. L. I went in today at 9 AM for a sore throat that had gone on for a few days and now had an infection there. Was seen smoothly and quickly and everyone was super efficient!! I was seen and tested and a Dr came in and introduced himself and told me exactly what he saw and what to do. It was discovered during this, that I had high blood pressure! Who knew?? Good that got caught and can be handled!! So I am super happy to have found this TEAM of great people to oversea My health care!!! They were all great!!

So grateful to have found Carbon Urgent care. I have to say my entire experience was fantastic. To the absolutely sweet receptionist at the front desk to the people who do the swab( which by the way was super simple and didn’t hurt at all) I was so impressed. Useful tool. I started using this app to keep in touch with my urgent care appointments. It’s really helpful because I can actually message nurses with any questions or concerns I have and they typically respond by the next business day, if not sooner. I absolutely love this app. It’s a great way to keep track of your health and future appointments

Worked great!. I was able to see my doctor over a video call and didn’t have to drive in. He also sent me my prescription to get filled at any pharmacy through the app. Worked great and saved me the trip so I didn’t have to take off from work!

Poor medical protocol!. I was scheduled for my first and second covid vaccine appointments through Carbon Health. My second appointment was scheduled appropriately but then changed a week before the appointment for only 19 days ( less than CDC guidelines. I attempted to contact a human and there is no way to get a response to any emails or or texts and no available contact phone numbers! I then found out they shifted an entire cohort of people to 19 day interval for COVID vaccines - not approved timing for scheduling . THEY GO AGAINST CDC RECOMMENDATIONS TO PROVIDE CARE!! I received a text response to my messages a week after!!

Quick concise and safe. I heard about carbon’s app through a friend I need to receive results immediately. I made an appointment, but it was not soon enough based on my current need. I walked into Glendale facility and was seen and tested right away! Results came in two hours later.

Not a happy camper!. I went to Carbon Health last week with possible case of conjunctivitis since visiting my grandkids and both getting over it. Yes, they didi diagnose as conjunctivitis and gave me two different drops. Two days later the other eye was very irritated. Since Carbon health wasn’t open until 9:00, my son-in-law drover me to the ER. Doctor said that eye was also infected. I told her what I had been prescribed and she said wrong medicine and would not have helped and might make even worse. She prescribed an antibiotic. Idk why I was given the wrong medication?? Very disappointed!

Finger Injury. The staff here is incredible starting at the front desk, to the attending nurse and doctor. Everyone was so friendly, professional and especially caring. The facility was extremely clean. Made an on-line appt which was very easy to navigate. Got the Carbon App and had my results 15 min after I left the office. I highly recommend.

Carbon Urgent Care of Sherman Oaks. I been in this Urgent Care 3 times. Very grateful and thankful for all. The staff very professional, polite and knowledgeable. Place very clean and you don’t have to wait long, if you come by appointment. Thank you very much. Highly recommend.

Scam. Caution, this is little more than a scam. They do not accept insurance (outside of California) even though they are associated with physical locations that can accept insurance. When I tried to close my account (after not receiving service) they claim that by law they must leave the account active and hold my insurance (and credit card) info on file, even though they refuse to take my (blue cross) insurance. Steer clear, there are more reputable companies out there!

Carbon Health is overrated, overbooked, and understaffed. Resources seem to be spent on aesthetics to make the office look chic while the nurses and doctors themselves are overbooked and don’t seem willing or don’t have the incentive to do follow-up. The app itself is a similar thing - seems beautiful and intuitive on the outside, but actually super buggy and confusing when you need it to work. It’s almost fraudulent - frequently offering appointment slots that don’t exist once you attempt to book them. Customer support is hard to reach and ineffective. If you happen to be late - even if you call ahead - your appointment will be automatically canceled and you likely won’t have another availability for months. Carbon Health - a pretty facade on a poorly managed clinic system.

Great app, great service!. I made an appointment online and wasn’t sure if the test I wanted was the right one. I went to my appointment a little early to make sure. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! I downloaded the app while I was in the room before the doctor came in. They gave me the test I needed and I was able to catch my flight back to Hawaii on time, thank you!!

Great service. I am amazed at this Carbon, my HMO in California had nothing like this and they never checked up on you. This is great This rash on my face really bothered me and it didn’t respond to prednisone tabs so my second Urgent Care visit they were very courteous in the midst of this Coronavirus epidemic I am very pleased with St Mary’s in all aspects. Liars. I was told by the DR. that I wouldn’t have to download the app in order to get my COVID results. (I don’t make it a habit to give my personal data out to everyone that ask). However, this was false. I was unable to see my results unless I made space on my phone to download this app. I find that concerning. Not only that the company is data mining, but also because they straight lied to my face after I voice my concern. Unprofessional to say the least. Add in the fact the app is inferior to other medical interfaces, it makes one feel scammed.

5 Stars. In a the times we live in now, everything seems to be difficult and common courtesy has flown out the window. This process was simple and easy to follow. So far you get an A++++

Disappointing Post Visit Experience. Had a terrific experience when we visited for my daughter’s illness. Reception was wonderful, as was the Nurse Practitioner who saw her. Then a week later, our primary care office needed to verify her visit and they got a very rude and u helpful response from Carbon. Making me chase tails to get the proper documentation now to get my child back to school. Costing me money and time. Not cool at all and a sincere disappointment after having a positive visit.

App is okay but few bugs. The keyboard pop-ups in chat and prevent seeing latest messages or even your reply and to click the send button. Had to use the website to communicate with my PA. Also sometimes lab tests or prescriptions don't show up until app is restarted.

Awesome care & service. This is one of the best urgent care experience I’ve had in a long time. Made appointment, staff was ready to assist me at scheduled time. All staff were nice and professional. Place was not crowded, very clean too! Highly suggest Mill creek location.

Great place. Carbon health was very helpful. I set up an appointment online for the same day. Got into the office right away. They gave me the swan test for covid. I took a chest X-ray. A few days later I found out the results were negative through the carbon health app. Very grateful. Definitely recommend!

Functional, but difficult info architecture. Hi! I like how the app keeps me in touch with my primary care physician and has everything on one place. My feedback though: it’s not easy to follow how the app works / where to go for what. It will be good to streamline the information architecture so that navigation can be simplified and be more intuitive.

Glitching messages. I’m not sure how to contact support about the another than here so: There is a glitch in the messaging system. Whenever I try to type a response to a message the keyboard completely covers up the text box so I can not see what I’m typing as I type it. This makes it incredible difficult to write a proper message. And if I need to edit the second I click the text box again, covered by the keyboard immediately.

Excellent, convenient service!. My experience was so pleasant and response was quick. Provider was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Didn’t feel rushed and felt the provider was genuinely interested in my inquiry. Highly recommend for the level of care and convenience.

iPhone Mini Formatting Issues. Certain controls are not formatted properly for the iPhone Mini. Prime example in the “back” chevron in the upper left: it’s not formatted for the Mini screen size so that control collides with iOS’s “back to previous app” (for lack of a better term) control. Which means I’m just as likely to tap that area and accidentally end up back at a previous app, instead of the previous page in the Carbon app I was intending

Has issues. Forgot my password and can’t get routed back to the app to reset. Sent 3 emails and every time I try to reset from my email it sends me back to the same login screen

First timing visiting this urgent care. No complaints. Arrived at our scheduled time. Got right in. PA was very attentive and answered all our questions. I really like how all the information is in their app/portal. Even have great follow up checking on us a day or so after our initial visit.

Carbon Health - What happened to my VAX record?. I was a huge fan of Carbon Health back in January when I got my first shot and I saw all the documentation on this app. But alas! It has all stopped and it doesn’t show my second shot so I have no updated info. I was going to use this app to show that I have been vaccinated. It’s not just me. Many, many people have the same problem. Carbon Health, what gives?

Best medical team. I went to this facility due to the Vacaville office being closed. The service I received here starting from checking in, getting vitals before seeing the PRN was the best. Worst Design Ever. This is one of those apps for which you come to the app store and voluntarily write a review for. I wonder if any of their designers and product managers ever took a Covid test at their center and then came back to see the result — all the buttons are hidden in the margins, you can’t swipe to go back, it’s unclear from chats and records that what day they were sent. Such a poor digital experience in comparison to their centers which are much more streamlined.

Love love love!. Love how easy the Carbon app is to use! I’m able to easily book/cancel in person/virtual appointments. I really appreciate the staff and how they check in after a few days to see how I’m doing. I work in healthcare and have never received the quality of care that I do at Carbon. The providers here really do care and it shows

Horrible. You will get much better service calling your local office. I went on the app at 8:45M and made an appointment for 10am and I’m still waiting to see a doctor at 11:15am. All of the walk ins who arrived befor me got preference so there is ZERO point is the app. If I had just headed straight to the clinic I would have been seen faster. Also last time I used the app to message them no one replied and when I finally called they said since the doctor who has seen me was not in she could not reply via the app. WTH is the point of this app? It only causes delays.

Great App, great urgent care center. The app is well designed and super useful... cuts down on filling out paper work and gives you a direct line with follow up questions regarding your visit. The care and help at the sunset location is amazing and efficient. Highly recommend the location and the app.

Love this!. Wow! What a great way to have healthcare join technology. I ran into a few bumps with getting set up as I am not that tech savvy but I was assisted all the way. My zoom medical call went great and my prescriptions were sent immediately! Bravo Carbon Health!!

Carbon Urgent Care. This is the best urgent care I have ever been to. The entire staff is so nice and friendly. They acted like they wanted to do their job. Other staff at other places are just like “another day another dollar” and always have a bad attitude. I will continue to come here!

Upper Respiratory Infection. I was not given the appropriate antibiotic after being told I would. I was told there would be an adverse reaction with another medication I take after I have taken it for over 14 years. That’s ridiculous! Plus, I had a horrible pain on my lower back by my lung and had a car accident a few days ago. I was rear ended and I was refused a simple x-ray. This is way too much!!I do not know why I even bothered to go there and waited for over two hours to be seen!!

Great place!. Took my kids here for the first time ages 6 and 3 and I could honestly say , they are very quick and thorough! All the providers here take consideration of their patient and they explain everything in details. Both my kids love it here! Great staff as well ❤️👌definitely recommend this place!

Outstanding. Carbon Health off of laminate and Archibald in Eastville California. I checked in this morning down to the front desk to the nursing staff along with the doctor name. Heather I’ve been at this location a few times and I can’t begin to describe the cleanness, kindness, and caring this medical team is. I may be feeling. Responsive. I just signed up for my COVID vaccination and after going through the process I was thinking I might not get the one I wanted. Mind you, it’s late so I didn’t think I would get a response until the next business day but I DID!!!! I feel so much better now! Thank you so much!
