I was looking for an app to help me get into mindfulness and meditation, and I stumbled across Simple Habit. I tried out a few 5-minute sessions and became quickly frustrated because I felt I wasn’t “doing it right” and it “just wasn’t working” for me. Nevertheless, I continued to practice a couple of times a day for the rest of that week and sooner than I thought, I was feeling the benefits of living in the present. Now, as a psychologist in training, I am listening to multiple sessions a day and have incorporated mindfulness into my routine (even before a session with a client to ensure that I am completely present for them)! I absolutely recommend this app for anyone and everyone!
2 car accidents, concussions, vision trauma, overwhelm and anxiety, I needed help. These meditations have helped me: sleep programs, trauma, sexual trauma, relaxation, focus, and being present. I use them morning and night nearly everyday! Simple Habit gives me continuous support, insights and wisdom through some very challenging injuries and traumas. This app is so unique. There are meditations for so many real life situations. I use this app a few times a day to help keep my mind at ease and help me regulate my emotions. The sleeping mediations have become an absolute necessity for me to fall sleep. I can’t afford the premium right now but once I can, I’m definitely getting it!
I have had this app for over a year and used to love it. When I was dealing with some major anxiety issues today, I tried a meditation designed to help with panic. After the meditation was over, a screen popped up requesting that I subscribe. I could not close the subscription screen or continue using the app, and lost all the calm I’d just gained. In response, I deleted the app from my phone. It makes me sad because one of my favorite meditation series is on this app, but the aggressive money grubbing ruined my experience. Do better.
I got charged a FULL YEAR ($100) subscription at the end of the MONTH trial period. I literally cannot use this app without getting stressed out or frustrated knowing that I got charged such a steep price with no support at all to rectify this. I reached out the their team, who told me to reach out to Apple. Apple did NOTHING to help refund this (all sales are final), even after I told them it was a mistake, I don’t use the app much or at all, forgot I even had it, and I was reaching out the SAME DAY I saw the pending charges in my account. Very disappointed in that and very stressed from this app.
I’ve tried a lot of apps and I find this one the most user friendly and compelling app to use esp for people who struggle to make Med part of their daily habit.
I really enjoy Simple Habit for many reasons. The main few being the nice array of meditation coaches and content each one brings along with them. Keep up the great with dev team and coaches, you guys are offering something really great here...
I have read, been to weekend long meditations classes and it’s not worked. I like the interface, the variety. I found myself using 3-4 times yesterday and noticed I slept well and felt more relaxed today. I have used Calm, for some reason I don’t like the interface as much, but that could just be my preference. I already shared this with my friends!

Some of the badges don’t show, last review wiped by Simple Habit. No reviews shown for a month - could this be because the reviews were not favourable? Very slow to start now, a number of glitches.

Before discovering simple habit, I was really skeptical about meditation. However they have great series and the teachers are amazing. It is totally worth a try and accomplishes its purpose.
Best Meditation App I’ve tried. Great variety and always find a meditation to suit my needs at the time. Definitely recommend.
I really liked the idea of Simple Habit so I signed up impulsively as I think it’s important to pay for things you value. But a few basic misses made me give up in frustration. 1. The self promo at the start of every meditation- I HATE it. I want to relax myself into a suggestive state for the purposes of meditation, and I can’t stand the notion that every single meditation opens with a short self promotional byline. I can forgive it In other apps or podcasts, but I cannot relax into a meditative state when I feel they are marketing to me. I tried to go with it for a while, but the response never dissipated. 2. I could not figure out how to queue up the various sessions. This got so annoying as the sessions are 5-10min each. I found it really disruptive to then have to go back to my screen and load up the next one. 3. The second point was compounded, because although there are many themed sets of meditations, the first one in each series is a pretty identical vanilla breathing exercise. Overall, I wanted to love this app, but it just made me angry and frustrated. :-(

Simple Habit has been an absolute game changer for me. Personally, i struggle with anxiety and Simple Habit has been the best outlet for me. I can always remember that countless people are here to calm me down through there meditations and that they are rooting for me! I have never felt so confident while taking tests, or fell asleep quicker. No other meditation app has helped me except Simple Habit. I would like to thank every instructor that has taught me that “the breath guides you through your ways”. I do not know where i would be without Simple Habit. Thank you!
When you just get the app they don’t present the idea of paying .. once you sign up and put your in information in the it pops up . Don’t be sneaky

Like others, I am a former meditator who had lost my way. This app provides me a gentle reminder to take some time to settle my mind. I appreciate the variety of meditations available, though I’d appreciate more with soothing sounds and no talking. Also, maybe just my preference, but lose the rain shaker - I find that terribly annoying! But my real issue is this app is sucking up my battery! I have an iPhone 7+ and I have now confirmed this app is the culprit. So please fix as I would hate to give it up.
It really works!!
Started using this app last year and loved it instantly. And their customer service is amazing. I even meditate with my 5 yr old daughter every night before bedtime to calm her fear of “dinosaurs”. Try it out! I doubt you’ll regret it.
The premium is just to expensive would get if it was more affordable and can’t send review without nickname everything is taken this is ridiculous
After your free trial (that you will forget you have) they will charge you $95 to use the app for a year. You can cancel the subscription and still use the app for a year, but your $95 will be gone and you will no longer have the $95 dollars you once had. Other than that, 5 stars.
Meditation has helped to change the the thoughts that I usually have. I am much calmer and my blood pressure has decreased.

My sister sent this over to me to do a month challenge, I didn’t do the challenge straight through and the app doesn’t make you feel bad about it, it’s just such a pleasure every time I come back and hear the music background. I sometimes feel apps make you feel bad for not doing your daily meditation but the interface on this is really welcoming. I’ve used it to help get to sleep- works 90% of the time, and to relax after work. The impact of having the same voice for a weeks meditation is profound. I use it several times a week.
Amazing app, when it works ... for some reason it keeps getting stuck st the home screen, this seems to be a reoccurring thing :(
