Waste of money!!. I tried connecting this with my chromebook and even though it says it is compatible with chromebooks, every time it fails. I shouldn’t have wasted my money. This is bs.

Good Premise, needs additions. The idea is great, I love air parrot and the thought of not even needing to touch my computer to use it is wonderful. But my media that I want to share is not on my main hard drive in my computer, but a secondary drive. The "Browse" function for selecting media does not allow you to search other drives. This is an issue. Would be wonderful, otherwise just standard stuff. VLC Media Players app allows searching multiple drives, introduce something like that so the browse function isn't limited.

Why no touchpad?. I really wanted this app to replace my touchpad remote app as well as give me access to streaming options.

Works Great!. Really cool way to control your computer running AirParrot from your phone.

Great app, but no internet connectivity. I think this app is brilliant. Nice design, well executed and no lag. So very nice. But it is severely lacking in one area. The area I desperately need functionality: no connectivity across the Internet. I have to be on my local network to use it. That's pretty useless to me. There are tons of good remote control apps that do the same thing as this app just as well or better. What I was hoping for was to be at one campus and control the computer and screens on a separate campus since I can't be in two places at one time. I can definitely see the usefulness of it when I am on the network the computer is on, whether that be home or work. However, it would be much more useful if I could connect across the Internet while I am not on that network. That functionality would truly make this app stand head and shoulders above the rest!

App simply won't pair. It recognized my computer just fine, but won't get past the pairing screen no matter how many times I try or what method I use. For an app that's $8, this is an atrocious experience. Requested a refund

Posh price for an unstable app. Plenty to squawk about. Painfully-thin documentation, stalls system-wide playing GoPro 4K claps on Apple TV 4K, crashes itself when screening 4 or 5 SD vids. PC app is primitive, crashes and shuts off Windows’ audio frequently — simply when being moused. Interface suffers from a tiny scrub bar with no jump-back/ahead buttons. Searching, skipping commercials a nightmare. Text only, no poster/album art. Weird green screen jammed up my AppleTV 4K this evening. Rebooted it, and my PC, every 30 minutes or so. Much happier with FileExplorer Pro on my same system. Tap PC files, iPhone and iPad play/mirror perfectly, full documentation, a grown-up alternative with remote licenses for 6 family members included at a fraction of AirParrot’s price.

Could use some improvements.. As pricey as this app is, it could use a few improvements. This is a remote app that has far too few controls for video playback. A larger jog control / timeline would be useful, fast forward and rewind, +/- 10 seconds, etc. something more substantial than play / pause.

Chromecast Underscan Issue. For years now the devs cannot fix a simple bug where mirroring to chromecast devices creates a nasty undescan boarder on the TV. They say it is just an issue with chromecast itself, but the issue does not occur when mirroring from a chrome browser.

It's work excellent.. but. app works as described but there issues with arabic subtitle and the difficulty to change the the subtitle file name every time I want see movie otherwise the app is perfect 👍🏼👍🏼

Awesome control app!. I found out about this app on 9to5Mac and decided to try it out since I’m a fan of this company's AirParrot 2 desktop mirroring software. I’m glad I did! Being able to control my AirParrot 2 software from my tablet comes in handy when I don’t feel like carrying my computer around. The extended desktop feature is a nice add-on because it lets me use my iPad as an extra display for my computer. I think AirParrot Remote is a must have for any AirParrot 2 user. Highly recommended.

BEWARE TINY TEXT - impossible to read or adjust.. No way to adjust this new teeny-tiny text! Too small to read or focus on anything. Horrible, I’m mad. Trying to get back to ver2.0.

Not good for drawing. I was extremely happy with airparrot for my MacBook and when I learned this app could mirror photoshop onto my iPad I was really excited. UNFORTUNATELY the remote is terrible. You cannot tap the iPad for the mouse unless you select over the mouse and drag it to the tools you need. Forget about using any brush as the app doesn’t click/hold at all. Get the original app, skip the remote unless this is fixed.

Support tickets don’t even work. I downloaded this for work, only to find out I don’t need it. Tried to submit a support ticket to request a refund and cancellation and the ticket gives an error when trying to submit (all the necessary Information is filled out). Then subsequent attempts result in a white dialogue box popping up with no ability to submit, only exit out of the screen.

Unusable. Latency for the mouse movement was terrible. Due to the latency it was not usable to manage my presentation being displayed on my big screen TV even when I was right next to the computer. Could not see a way to get a refund of my money. I was going to use it with air parrot 3 but seeing that there is little support for this product I doubt if I will purchase air parrot 3.

The perfect complement to Airparrot 2. I've had Airparrot 2 for almost a year now and have loved having it on my Mac. The one thing that it had been missing was a way to remotely control it and this app delivers in just the way I wanted. It seamlessly connects and allows me to do control Airparrot as I do on my Mac. Great work! Important note: make sure you update Airparrot 2 on your computer otherwise the app probably won't recognize your computer.

Doesn't work. I paid the eight dollars for the app and it doesn't sync with my computer. Not work anything when it doesn't work.

Junk. Just junk. Buggy slow. Unreliable.

Much better options available.. Apparently the developer has decided to not update this app any further. It certainly shows. MobileMouse spanks this in every conceivable way.

Needs Improvements. Hasn't been updates in months and has lag issues. Often needs resets to connection. I'm running El Capitan and iOS 9. Please fix asap!

Non Functioning App. Do not waste $8.00 on this app. Could not get it to function. Desktop version is buggy and glitchy. Help section in the app takes you to a “Page not Found” page. Wish I could get a refund.

Not worth the money. This was a complete waste of money. No skip forward, no skip back, the two controls are tiny. They would have been better off moving the From and To options to a separate screen and making a usable interface for the app controls. It's still necessary to keep the Apple TV Remote (or another app) nearby to take care of volume, forward, reverse, etc. If it was a free app it might be worth the price. Certainly not worth 8 bucks when you have already bought the PC/Mac app for $16.

Works great. Very handy to leave my computer at my desk and share a power point in the conference room! Remote control mouse was a nice touch.

Can’t connect. This is the worst app ever! Even the ticket submission doesn’t work. Apple should verify these apps better!

So far, so good.... I’ve been playing with this app for about a half an hour now and it seems to work well. I’ve been using it to navigate my computer, play Sims 4, Tropico, and Orwell. It takes s bit getting used to, but it’s working quite nicely!

Crashes and poor tech support. Pretty disappointed with the product. The app continuously crashes, and now doesn't work at all. Been working with customer service for over a week with no resolution, and they will not issue me a refund.

It’s the previous reviews for me. Even tho it is only like a handful of positive reviews I took a chance. I should have listened I wasted 8 bucks. Yo I’m so aggravated right now. I paid $15 the top of the year had not one issue none. Worked flawlessly. Haven’t use it AirParrot 3 and my HomePod since about June of 2021 not long but apparently long enough. It wouldn’t work. I decided to pay and download this crap app remote not even needed. I had to uninstall and reinstall parrot 3 and restart my pc for it to work. I have Windows 10, AirParrot 3 I paid $15 for and HomePod mini. I know have sound from my computer. I wasted like 3 trying to figure this out. This remote app is garbage it didn’t work still doesn’t and not sure what the point of it is. Save your $8.

Dont waste your money. I purchased Airparrot 2 and I love it, but I just purchased the airparrot remote and I been trying to connect to my computer and it does not work. I emailed customer support and I have had no response. Do not waste your money trying this product.

Needs to add subtitles files. Needs to add subtitles files to played videos how?

Make sure network is open. App works great, if it doesn't work for you there is likely a problem with your network setup.

Buggy. Especially for a paid app the reliability of this app is totally inexcusable. It rarely actually connects my Mac to my Apple TV 3s or 4 remotely. It just spins and spins and times out. It connects pretty reliably from the Mac directly.

Disappointed. I have reloaded this App three times, trying to get it to let me set it up. It just sits there and laughs at me for spending my money.

Solid. Don’t know why it has such poor ratings. Turns any iOS device into a a very low latency secondary display for $8 if you’ve already got the also well priced desktop client. Great value all around for what you get. Now my iPad Pro has something to do when I have to use windows.

Handy. Works like magic- I’ve been streaming multiple Windows 10 pc’s to an Apple TV without a hitch. ———- Update - knocking off one star because it bugs out when selecting between two displays of the same resolution.

Can’t connect to remote, lack of playback controls. Can not connect at all in Windows 10 even though computer is shown. Connected in Mac OS, but need to enter user password three times if the screensaver comes on, in order to pause. Should have lock screen control in iOS. Terrible video controls: no rewind 10 seconds, and tiny slider makes it near impossible to control, especially long shows or movies. Streaming from VLC app is choppy, Air Parrot is smoother, but with no audio or subtitle controls... Free trial announcement interrupts shows every 10 minutes during the trial period.

Waste of money. This app did not work with trial version AirParrot3. They refuse to give me the money back.

Works great. Works as advertised for me. Best way to control media cast from my pc to my apple TV. App needs to be updated for the iPhone x/xs.

Bad app. Won't always pair

It works. I installed Air Parrot on my computer and it worked effortlessly, then I installed the remote and again it connected easily. Then I upgraded to the new version of Air Parrot 3.1.1 on my computer and it broke everything. Just a black screen would appear on the TV even though I could still see the screen working on my phone using remote. I un-installed 3.1.1 and re-installed 3.1.0 and everything is working again. The last upgrade is crap!

Not worth it. Not worth it just use AirParrot on your computer. I can’t imagine why there isn’t a decent way to rewind or fast forward on this thing.
