Atomic hangman. Love this style of hangman. I loss just to see what happens to the puppet. I'm glad I got it.

Noise!. I love this game BUT i can't turn off the rather jarring sound effects. The hints can be too broad to be helpful, but overall this is an intelligent, entertaining game.

Not fun. Words too hard. Not fun. Should be option for word length. Fun graphics, but weird theme content. Option for no time would be nice too

Great artwork. Very kool artwork and music. Makes a classic game much more fun. Just having a little trouble with the multiplayer matchmaking.

Fun for passing the time. The game is fun, but the answers to some of puzzles are really dated. A lot of people I have never heard of, or from a really long time ago, like a hundred or more years. More modern answers would be more fun. Example, one of the answers was Gian Maria Volant. How many people have even heard of him?

Needs 2 fixes. This is my favorite version of hangman. It only need 2 fixes. First more content. Gets boring when you get the same puzzles over and over. Second, can you do anything to stop the game from draining the battery so fast. Then it would be a 5 star app.

Super duper. I am not a fan of hangman, with that in mind decided to look at it anyway and read reviews. The reviews sold me. I download it. It's so darn funny with you get a letter wrong. It is easy and you can pick your category.

Great fun.. I really like this game. The harder levels really are a bigger challenge and i think the animations are a lovely touch. Also it keeps up to date on my Apple TV so I can play there too. Makes a great party game in multiplayer mode.

Very good overall, AppleTV controls are bad. I primarily like this on the big screen instead of the phone, but the implementation they have for selecting letters using the AppleTV remote is beyond painfully bad. Overall it is a nicely animated and very creative version of a hangman word game.

Wasn't sure where to post this. There is an error in the game. The comedian is named Henny Youngman, not Henry. I just didn't know where to post a correction. The game is fun and well done otherwise.

Simple, but well done. Nice art, fun animations. Would be nice to incorporate some other type of mini game or mode.

Makes it fun to learn. I love word games but often get bored with them. I love this one because I learn new things about a lot of different subjects after solving the word game. Great fun!

Party Mode won’t work. Downloaded the app to all our phones and none of them have the option to join the Apple TV game.

Too many errors. There are too many errors in this game. Hong Kong is not the capital of China. Also there were many errors in the comic section between Marvel and D.C. Please get information from a more reliable source instead of Wikipedia. Anybody can post information on Wikipedia and the information is not always verified.

Great game, but there are some errors.... I really like this game! Very fun and interesting. The only gripes I have is there are errors in the game. Since when has Hong Kong been the capital of China? The capital of China is Beijing! Please correct this! My fella almost died because I was tapping the wrong letters! Please use other references besides WikiPeadia!

The designer of this is a racist. I can't believe that with a hint of "capital of China", the correct answer is " Hong Kong". Any educated human being should at least know that Hong Kong is not the capital of People Republic of China. I'm really angry and sad to see that until today there's still people intentionally trying to break other countries images even in a game.

Misspelled word??. Pulled up Smarty Pants round only to find you spelled Walt Disney as Walk Disney. The irony is magnificent. I have a screenshot if you want to see.

"Octave" is a "Literary element"?. Really? A few other strange answers seem to pop up from time to time.

No sound. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and no sound it’s cute but the no sound makes it boring.

Fun game; could be improved, though. This game is entertaining - a combination of hangman and a trivia game. As others have pointed out, some of the answers are incorrect, which I hope will be corrected. Some of the clues are way too general to be helpful. On the other hand, a few of the clues were very specific, and had answers that were more or less common knowledge, so they weren’t challenging at all. Each topic has three levels of difficulty, but I thought that some of the “easy” ones should have been in the “medium” or “hard” category, and vice versa. The graphics are fun - I especially enjoy the puppets’ changing facial expressions.

Love It!. Have shared it and recommended it to friends. Graphics are so entertaining I lost by not paying attention. Have also learned many interesting bits of trivia. I think it should be an award winner if it isn't already.

Sorry you changed it!. I really enjoyed the game before you changed it. Before I was able to challenge myself to get higher scores on each category but now I can't even understand the point of having a cumulative score! It's not fun anymore. 😟

Great Family Game. It's really difficult to find a game that the whole family can play simultaneously, this game give us hours of fun and we all play at the same time. Extremely entertaining. Just because of this game I'm getting a second new Apple TV so we can play in other floors.

Very imaginative!. I love this game! The puzzles are interesting and the deaths the hanged one endures are quite imaginative and entertaining.

Addictive!. Fun and interesting. The graphics are wild! And the challenge keeps me coming back. Well worth the price.

Problematic political stance buried within. One reviewer mentioned this in fuller detail, but yes, they have a problematic theme which lumps both ‘evildoers’ and politicians together. Believe it or not, the politicians they choose to include in this category seems very selective (or more precisely, anti- left wing). It’s a shame. Despite its inventive concept, the hints of brainwashing are unsettling.

Just ok. Not a bad game however the clues are far too nonspecific. To put six or seven letters and then say geography as the only clue is ridiculous quite frankly. There are thousands of places with six or seven letters around the world. This is present throughout all of the categories. For instance, instead of saying famous person, a clue could've been supreme court justice. They need to be a bit less general. One star. Ridiculously vague clues. "Famous person". Seriously?

Great app. Good way to kill time. I especially like that it gives you a little lesson on each puzzle.

Good game but.... I've been playing this for a while now. It's a good game, the only problem is that the hints, or the category is extremely vague. There should be better hints. "Life science" could be anything, and it might be something that you know but you don't think of, because the hint is so vague.

Fun, but..... Fun game. Some questions are hard (Latin terms) and some very easy. But the author of “Invisible Man” is not Ralph Waldo Ellison. Maybe check Wikipedia to ensure the answers are right?

Intriguing. Love the expressions when I select the wrong letter. Sometimes I do a "quick end" just to see what happens. But there are more times my puppet survived when I guessed the letters right :-)

Weird Hidden Political Agenda: Right wing anti-Democratic. This app, which should be free from a political position, weaves in descriptions and information that seem to be in the interest of the conservative agenda. When providing bios of Republican politicians, the information is neutral, but selectively negative when describing Democrats. An example: when describing Al Gore, who publicly works to address climate change, the bio says he was Vice President and a huge consumer of energy by flying in jets and owning large homes. When describing Condoleeza Rice no negative comments appear, only positive mention of her being first as a black woman in her position, even though she was a key member of the very administration that initiated the war in Iraq based on faulty intel. But that is not mentioned. I wouldn’t want it to be mentioned in an app like this and neither do the negative comments about Al Gore, Rahm Emanuel, and other Democrats have a place here. I noticed that in a description of the shooting spree in New York’s public transit in the 90’s the blurb included the fine detail of the hand gun used- the brand name and its caliber. Weird. Was the hidden agenda to show that assault rifles are no worse than hand guns? What else would one think when reading that unnecessary detail in a small paragraph in a hangman game? Really gross. You didn’t get your “hidden agenda” past this consumer.

Super Concept,But….. WHAT…the hay is “Overscan”? Also, it would certainly be closer to perfect, if I could listen to (my) music,while I play. But, those darn (&, I’m being polite) Sound Effects!! You already know that some of the answers are wrong…along with a needed reworking of the hint system. Plus…WHY do the ladies get worse beat downs than the guys? AND…my avatar totally needs a New Outfit! FUZZBUCKET! How about a NEW AVATAR (S)!! Some that don’t look like they work in strip clubs,lol! Good game, actually.. This is definitely worth your time if you're into hang man. Interesting to see a nice twist on the look of hang man. (With the man hanging from the ropes and going against the clock.) I also would like to add the little stages you have to go through. Great game with great potential. Do download if you like this kind of stuff.

Very good!. Challenging but fun and interesting. I am from a generation that had to LEARN in school all the way through. We had to listen in class. So we learned about all aspects of the world. This quiz app has a lot of interesting and valuable info and makes you think. Great job. Has some humor in its graphics as well. Well done all around.

Way too hard. Too many obscure answers and way too many USA related answers. Makes for a "not fun" experience. Useless for playing with children!

Not universal enough. I agree with a previous reviewer that the content is based too much on America. I like the concept of the game and if the questions had been more universal would have purchased an upgrade.

Very hard for non U.S people. So many of the geography questions are very difficult for people other than U.S citizens.

Easy section too hard. This gets boring quickly as this is very American based. It feels like the creators don’t know there’s a whole world out there. All the sports and landmarks etc are American. This needs be more open to others users around the world.

doesn't work. we tried to play 2 player party with Apple tv but when one player finished a word on his ipad it was not registering on screen.. the glitch made the game unplayable

I really like this game. It does turn into systematic pressing of the same keys in a certain order over and over again, but the wife can compete and we have fun, and the toddler likes to watch the guy. Clean family fun.

Charmingly disturbing. This hangman variation is a bit twisted, a little odd, more than a little addictive, and a lot more challenging than you'd expect. You can buy individual packs beyond the free ones, of which there are plenty, or you can buy the all pack for under a buck and unlock more characters, themes, and word packs including two for the SAT. I dare you to take this game on and not get eaten by alligators. Or piranha. Or... well, you get the idea.

Hilarious game. Love this game so far. Lots of categories. I almost want to lose just to see how the puppet gets destroyed. There are ads, but any purchase (even a .99 cent one) gets rid of them. Well worth it.

Needs more for kids. This is a wonderful game, fun and challenging, but it needs more for young kids. This game has the potential to extremely educational for elementary schoolers yet offers nothing for them. No kids pack. If they offered a kids pack I'd pay for the full version. I hope to see this in a future release.

Horribly vague. A clue was “chemistry.” Another, “plant.” I expected broader hints, like “this plant doesn’t need dirt and grows on trees,” something with substance. Music is goofy. Graphics low quality. I love word games, but this one is a huge let down.

Awesome!. I loved everything about it! It kept me playing, probably longer than I should have, lol. I finished all packs in just a few days but I misunderstood the fact that I would have to actually have to purchase more packs. They really aren’t that expensive, but it isn’t made clear at the beginning of the game and that is something I don’t appreciate. I was so excited to get to the locked packs because they interested me so much and was so disappointed that I couldn’t play them! I am a senior on a fixed income and usually don’t buy myself Apple play cards because I need so many other thins more. You can’t find one for less than $15.00! I don’t know if I can continue or not.

Fun game on the AppleTV!. Though I haven’t tried multiplayer yet, I’ve been playing with just a third party game controller and it’s been a lot of fun! Plain enjoyable, with periodic “head to head combat" to mix things up. I’ve only played through about four of the available topics, and while I haven’t checked, I expect replayability will be good. One complaint: what you might consider a "complete phrase” seems inconsistently implemented. It’s most noticeable on "famous people", where middle names are sometimes omitted from the puzzle, but included in the description after the solve. It can make the game overly obtuse at times.

Best hangman game in App Store. Hands down, this is the best hangman game I've played in iOS. Seriously, rock solid. I've played for hours now, and there must be a huge library of questions, because I haven't seen any repeats. There is also a large number of hangman scenarios, that give this app extra entertainment value. Definitely no regrets with the $1 in app purchase to make this the full game.

Creative & Fun. Great blend of creativity, education, and fun!! I almost enjoy watching the various ways the hangman gets destroyed as much as I enjoy solving the puzzle. A lot can be played for free and the inexpensive in-app purchases allow you to swap out different themes. Great concept!

One big improvement needed. I love this game and it can be very challenging- but also has one frustration that holds me back from giving 5 stars. It has happened quite often now that I will be on my last letter, pick it, and it kills me yet says the letter was in the puzzle. (Not out of time) Getting frustrating. Otherwise great game.
