Deception at its finest. The app gives an approximate wait time and an option to be on a wait list. This could not be further from the truth. Went to the the app to approximate wait time. Finding it was only 15-20 minutes placed my name on the waitlist. After checking in at the restaurant it was determined my wait was still 15-20 minutes however my name was not placed on wait list until my arrival at the restaurant. Obviously I was deceived. To me it was a bait and switch to get me in the door thinking I was already there why would I leave. The app would be served better if it would just give a pdf of the menu and not lie to it’s clientele

Absolutely horrible service!. The service here was just horrible , our appetizer was brought by a person other than the waitress, so that worked. The waitress brought all 3 of our drinks separately, and it took quite a while. Brought our salad, no breadsticks yet, it took 45 minutes to get breadsticks!!! and we had to ask for them, also we ordered 5 cheese marinara , but it was plain marinara. We all ordered all you can eat soup and salad, the soup bowls were only filled a quarter of the way. We repeatedly asked for more salad but NOPE , she never brought it. We had been in there an hour at this point , so we just up and left and NO TIP!!

Thank you!. My wife and I had gotten in the habit of going to the Texarkana location for years after working at our church on Sunday mornings and we’ve really missed it. We always sit at the bar enjoy down time and relax. Always order the same thing the people at the bar always have been great to us. Today was no exception. Thank y’all for allowing us to enjoy our little Sunday afternoon getaway once again. Service was great as always! Thank You Andy and Amy Rushing

Amazing evening, dinner, dessert, service, experience. My wife, Marie, and I just had the most amazing evening at the Olive Garden in Brighton, Michigan. The dinner was delicious, but the service from our waiter, Josh, was exceptional. He seemed to anticipate our every need. My iced tea refills arrived just as I was finishing up the previous glass. He checked on us quite often but was never intrusive. Wen it came time to order dessert, we could sense his disappointment at having to tell us that the lemon dessert we usually get is no longer available. We highly recommend this particular Olive Garden AND Josh for a waiter. You will not be disappointed.

Accounts. Don’t get me wrong, I love Olive Garden but it has some stuff to work on. On my first page where it says welcome back (your name) it has two options, order to go or join wait list. Since I have chosen a preferred location it cuts off the option for me to click join wait list. I would scroll to click it but the app doesn’t let me scroll. Which makes me have to do it the long way. Next I was trying to get rid of my account because I no longer use it and want to just make a new one under my name, number, and email. But the thing is, I CANT FIND THE DELETE ACCOUNT BUTTON ANYWHERE LIKE OTHER APPS! So I am stuck with this account and have no way to remove it. I am a little saddened that this is happening but I just hope they fix these problems soon!

Bugs. In cart, the quantity isn’t shown. Even though the two items I added would be around 19, I apparently added another by mistake and though it still said two items the price had counted up. Looked at both items and no quantity. When I hit save again in the item and it brought me back to cart the price went up again but still only said two items. Yes, it is two items but one of them was on there three times but nowhere was that indicated. There is a clear option which probably works but I went into the item again to count the quantity down. When I take it from one to zero, the button properly updates from Add to Remove but then the Remove button does nothing. App is a bit buggy. Could use some improvement. I’m guessing if I play around with it some more I can work around these issues but I wanted to report them here. Hope the devs see this and have a WA Team that can validate this based on my description (I work for a software company on the dev team).

0 STARS. I cannot delete items from my cart. I tried on my mobile device, my tablet, & my personal computer but to no avail. I also cannot delete my account. When I click on “Delete Account” under “My Account” I’m sent to a website for Darden?! With privacy disclaimers?! Paragraph after paragraph of legal semantics but nothing about deleting my account for Olive Garden. What I end up finding is an article that states I must request Darden!? to delete my personal information or face a $7,500 fine?! So naturally I sent in the request but what on Earth is going on here? We sent a man to the moon in 1969 yet it’s almost 2024 & I’m hit with this boondoggle. Shame on you Olive Garden.

Purchased E-Gift Card Never Received. I purchased a $25 Gift Card through your app to be emailed to a recipient and they NEVER received it. It was sent to the correct email address therefore there should be no excuse. Additionally, it states that it take 1-2 hours for the recipient to receive the Gift Card, it has been over a week now and still nothing. I got a receipt emailed of the purchase. Not only did Olive Garden make me look like bad, what is worst is that I have to keep asking the person who the Gift Card was for if they’ve received and they said No, Never, AND they’ve checked spam folder and still no Gift Card. This is unacceptable. There is also no phone number to call to request a refund or to request to check why the Gift Card was paid for but never sent. Please Contact me Asap.

Slow and glitchy unrealistic pick up times. I have deleted this app before because I had issues getting it to work. I tried again and got the wheel of death. It’s been deleted for good. I finally gave up went online to order. I placed an order to go. When I showed up to pick up they said it would be an hour and 45 minutes till it was ready. How about letting me know when placing the order I would have gone elsewhere. The developers response of a busy Mother’s Day is fine what about other days? Why wasn’t a realistic pick up time returned? I enjoy Olive Garden food but will wait till restaurant reopens. The app is still not ready for a national audience.

Password policy is terrible. First of all, a Max of 30 characters for passwords is a bad idea y’all, and this should be updated to at least 48 or, even better, 64. But more importantly, for WEEKS I have been unable to login because upon entering my credentials, the app was telling me something went wrong, and the website was shutting me down with a “FORBIDDEN OPERATION” message. Turns out the password change field doesn’t seem to validate passwords because it accepts changing them, hence allows characters that then crash the access backend. It could be * or & but there’s definitely something to check there. Feels like an exploit waiting to happen. Fix your website please.

Issues with reservations. I moved rating up to 2 stars since Olive Garden reached out on issue. I can’t justify more since I haven’t had it work successfully. I used the app a second time on 10/18 at a different location and noticed the screen where you click submit for the reservation was not updating the place in line. I put app on primary screen and it does update there. There is a notice on one screen to let the host know when you arrive, but it is not indicated on main screen that I was watching. Luckily the hostess noticed us after we were loitering about 15 minutes and seated us next. I believe you stay in “next” status until you arrive - very unclear how this is intended to save time. After 2 visits using app, I feel this service just causes extra delay to be seated. ***original review 10/11 ***Don’t trust it for reservations Received notification of no wait and to enter restaurant and give my name to the host to be seated. Needless to say I’m sitting outside with a buzzer because there is no room in the waiting area inside. Most worthless app ever

Needs some work. I downloaded and installed the app and set it all up, I entered my order with no problem and started on me wife’s order, she wanted to add 2 sausages to the 5 cheese ziti but the app would only let me add one. I had to cancel the order and call it in like back in the 1970’s How about adding a drop down box with an amount selection including a 0 so you can remove an item if needed. Also you are only allowed to add one item, if you try to add a meatball then the sausage goes away. From all the reviews I’ve read it seems like everybody is having the same 4 or 5 problems, didn’t they test the app before releasing it, they must not have since most problems are the same.

Misleading. The app does not explain that you still have to check in at the restaurant in order to actually be on the wait list so that you could be alerted when a spot is available. We waited for 3 hours starting at number 13. We watched the number go down to 2 then the list went away. I called the restaurant and that’s when I was told I should have came into the restaurant to check in. I asked what was the point of the wait list and giving your phone number on the app and the hostess responded with “we have no control over the app”. Maybe the app developers and the restaurant should get together.

Consistently disappointing. The app works alright UNLESS you want to use one of their online offers. I had problems on Cyber Monday and again today. It takes away the discount as soon as you submit your order and you get to pay full price at the restaurant. I tried to pay online to avoid this on the second go around, only it wouldn’t accept my payment! It said my card was “insufficient to cover the tax”. What? I tried different cards, it all said the same thing. I had a gift card applied, I tried to just pay the rest at the restaurant, it wouldn’t let me proceed. The only option not ghosted was the “Add credit card”, which it would not accept any. I took off my gift card, so I could pay at the restaurant, took pictures of all the screen shots in case I ran into trouble again. Sure enough, when I got my confirmation, discount gone. Confirmation email, no sign of discount. So over it. Something that is supposed to be a sales-inducing convenience is nothing more than a frustrating hassle followed by disappointment.

0 Stars. Don’t bother making reservations with this place!!!! They don’t honor them whatsoever!!! Have been here several times with reservations and waited 40min this time, 20min, and 15min another!! The excuse is always people aren’t leaving. If they know they have a reservation especially a bigger party of more than 4 then they should keep the table free at least an hour before hand or so. Almost every place should do this! Then it takes forever to get refills of both soda and food when they have never ending going on. Terrible place!! Especially for microwaved pasta, they really need to build a 2nd location in the area, our area is way too populated for only 1 establishment! They make more than enough money to open another location! Rockford,IL location

Great Service. It was my 1st time using the Olive Garden app and my 1st time going to Olive Garden on W 125th St Ny NY and buying Take Out. The app was easy to use, there were very good food choices, and affordable. At pick up, the young lady packaging and providing our orders was very busy yet worked well under pressure in such a highly populated venue area. I complimented her upon her service. The pick up was fast, orderly, accurate & courteous. Excellent Service overall, especially for a 1st timer. I will be back😃. By the way, the food was absolutely delicious 😋

Wait List is a joke!. We were on our way to the restaurant & the app said 0 min wait list (we were 20 -25 min away from restaurant). I checked periodically while on our way & it said 0 min. I checked at 10 min out & it said 1-15 min wait so I put us (2) on the wait list & it said we were #8 on the list!! We got there in 5-10 min , checked in (lobby was full & people waiting outside) & was told it would be 20 min, my husband commented ‘so much for the app’ & the Manager(?) asked what the app said, told her ‘1-15 min’ & she said ‘that’s wrong!’ Fortunately we’re over 21 & there was a table available in the bar after about 10 min. So it all worked out, but the wait list is a joke!!! The functionality of the app seems good, if it was only accurate!!

Dinner on June 20th. My wife, Janet, and I went early to enjoy some soup, salad, and fresh breadsticks which were fantastic and yummy! However, the best part of our night was our waiter, Julian! He gets rave reviews on his courtesy and prompt awareness of the perfect time to come check on us! Because of Julian, we brought home chocolate mousse dessert! Great experience all around! We highly recommend Julian for great service from start to finish 💯👍💯👍👌🏻

Horrible service. We followed all of the annoying rules and joined the online waitlist. And when we arrived we still waited for a table for about 10 minutes. But this is how our dinner went: seated at 5:43. Waiter arrives at 5:57. We order drinks, appetizers and our dinner because we were starving! About 10 minutes later we got a basket of 3 breadsticks, still no drinks, appetizers etc. Then another 5-6 minutes pass and we got the soup and salad and appetizer but still no drinks from the bar. About 3 minutes after this, you guessed it...our dinner entree arrives. Still no bar drinks....we finally just said to forget the bar drinks. Here’s the problem....this is all very uncharacteristic for this restaurant. Wonder what’s going on?

Frustrating!. This app could be good but it’s slow and frustrating! When you add an item there is a banner that says “Added!” and drops down from the top of the screen but never goes away. So if you’re ready to check out you need to tap on the “bag” icon on the top right corner of the screen, you simply can’t because the banner is still there from 10 minutes ago, covers it up so you’re never able to access the cart until you shut down the app and log in again. There is a “bag” icon at the bottom and one at the top right of the screen, same icon yet they have different purposes, bottom icon takes you to the menu, top/right icon takes you to the cart to check out. That’s very confusing and since the app is slow, you just can’t afford to waste any time trying to figure out how to pay. Also I added an item that didn’t show up in the order at the end, I guess the app didn’t register it. This app needs a lot of work. It took me about 20 minutes to order food with the app, but would have been a lot faster if I had just called to order. Having this app defeats the purpose of convenience. Slow, not intuitive, have I mentioned how SLOW it is?

Great but needs work!. I did use the app once to join the wait list and that was great! And I’ve used it a few times for online ordering, but when I need to update my card information, it will not let me. I want to delete a card and add a new one. And when I tried to order with a card I did have on file.. it was saying the payment type wasn’t chosen. I do enjoy that I can save favorites, even if the item is no longer available (the limited time offerings.) then it’s a great reminder to look for them next time they offer that particular dish! I also tried to edit my card information on the website and it didn’t work.

Frustrating. I love Olive Garden but unfortunately this app doesn’t tell you when your food is ready and gives you a max time . For example the food is supposedly ready by a time that’s 35 min away. My food was supposed to be ready at 12:40. I came around that time since its usually busy and by that time when I picked my food up and went home to eat , my food was almost cold and my breadsticks and gotten hard. It’s pretty disappointing and the last I want to do is reheat my food when I just got it. This app would be nicer if you were told when it was ready . When people get their food to go usually it’s for a lunch break and no one wants this experience after waiting. — I’ve seen people have commented on the waitlist being useless and it being a longer wait time then the time listed. The inaccuracy of this app needs to be fixed

Brier creek NC Olive Garden - Deception. Instead of telling customer they did not have the soup that was ordered, they served me a different soup. I noticed the soup did not look the same as usual, tasted it and knew right away it was the wrong soup. I inquired and the waiter admitted to substituting the soup without my permission. I asked to speak to the manager and instead of making it right, she tried to justify it by saying they never had the soup that evening. This was 6 PM on a Monday….Really. I had to ask her to remove the soup from my soup. She reluctantly did so. Learned from my nephew the same thing happened to him two weeks ago. At least the manager on duty on his night immediately gave him the whole meal free that included an entree and a gift certificate. I only had soup and salad.

Don’t download for the wait list. The “join wait list” function of this application is broken. The app states that there is no wait time at the location. Upon arrival, the actual waiting time for a party of four is over 30 minutes. Now I can understand 10-15 minute grace period as multiple parties can come in at once. This seems to be a problem with Olive Garden in general, as the website also reflects the wrong data. The website shows what place in line you currently reside. However, we’ve currently gone from 15th to 7th to 8th and back to 7th. All within the 35 minute period we were told to expect. Please make the wait list function work correctly.

They don’t care about all families equally!. Children left to scream to disturb everyone. Asked manager if he could see what was wrong and he said “I could , but that’s not the way we run things. We are a family restaurant.” Then he shrugged and walked away from me while the child screamed. So come & let your child scream no discipline needed! But if you want the best pasta in town come to Olive Garden just bring ear plugs. If you want a great waiter ask for Jared. He’ll treat you like family.

Frustrating. The past two times we've wanted to place a ToGo order using the app, we've essentially lost our place "in line". It goes something like this: I add all of the items in my cart. By the time I'm finished with all of the options and customizations and payment, it says my order has not gone through to the restaurant. No reason given. Not to mention it's now 10 minutes after the original promised time. So then I go to my computer to go to the website and by that time another 10 minutes - no, it said 20 minutes for some reason so now we're up to a half hour - after the original time. Once again, Olive Garden lost our business because it took the app too long to process everything.

Disappointed. Yesterday I made an order from Olive Garden on Lansing, IL. I ordered a catering pickup and when I arrived there one of the employees brought my stuff I asked if that was everything on the order and he said yes but it turns out we were missing the 1 gallon iced tea, 1 jumbo salad and the soda for the kids meal, we asked another employee and brought those missing things and I thought it was okay to forget some things that happens. When I arrived to my home it turns out we didn’t get the the 2 salad dressings, the croutons and the chocolates and I am like what just happened did they planned on just not give me anything or what, I spend a lot to get this kind of service. I have to say the pasta and the spaghetti were good.

Great for most, but one big issue for me.... This app is very user friendly and offers plenty of options to customize the orders, except for one: I don’t understand why I can’t specify an unsweetened iced tea when I choose my beverage. I have blood sugar issues and can’t drink sweet tea, which here in the south is the default. I’ve tried labeling the item “unsweet” but still get sweet tea every time. I’m usually on my way to work and don’t have time to check my order and get it rectified so I end up wasting $3 on a drink that goes down the drain. A clearly marked sweet/unsweet option would be great, until there is one I’ll just have to get my beverage elsewhere.

Can't use saved gift cards to pay like the app says you can. Giving 1 star cause at least I was able to to get on the waitlist with the app. I have 3 gift cards saved on the app, totaling $100. I don't have the cards anymore cause the app says I can store and use my gift cards. Went with the family today to eat and was so embarrassed cause I couldn't use the gift cards. There is no way to redeem any of my stored gift cards. I had 2 waiters and 2 managers trying to figure out how to redeem. They said if I had the full number they could redeem, but the app doesn't show the number. I ended up paying cash that I couldn't afford to use at the time. Now I'm out $100. Thanks Olive Garden! On a good note though. The food was excellent

Too many bugs.. This app doesn’t know what to do half the time. I order something then it asks me for the CVV so then I put it in then it says that the time is going to be move so I’m like okay, then it asks me to put the CVV again but then it froze. So I restart the app and put in the CVV and now it charged me for 2 orders when I only ordered one. The screen that pops up when you order something didn’t pop up the first time so I assumed it didn’t go through since it required me to put the CVV again. Now I have to pay for the other order which came with 2 more of what I wanted and have no way of canceling it. What a waste of money, thanks Olive Garden. Technology is just down the drain.

Stupid process. The app worked great. Stayed the wait time was 26-30 min. Awesome. I get on the wIt list, show up 25 minutes later, and...what do you know? It’s a 25 minute wait. Explanation from the staff is that the wait times on the app are inaccurate. What’s the point of an app if it’s ability to help you plan your evening is worthless. Their suggestion, call the location to get the wait time so you can decide whether it is reasonable to get on the wait list through the app. I’ve tried to get on the list by calling on the past and have been told you have to do it through the app. So. Or i have to call first to get accurate info, (but can’t get on the list by calling), and have to then go through the app to get in line. So a simple phone call or app process now requires two separate steps. Sweet!!

Disappointed. Yes my review is not a good one because we decided to do the BOGO and my 1st entrée was lasagna and my 2nd entrée was spaghetti with meat sauce. So I had my 1st entrée lasagna and would have my 2nd entrée the following day and with that I had my 2nd salad then went to have my 2nd entrée only to find out it WASN’T what I’ve ordered and I already have my taste for spaghetti with meat sauce and I know some mite not be a big deal but when you have the plan and taste already made up and to find out it wasn’t even close so that just made me unhappy and mad and ruined my night and my husband called to let them know about it and they replaced it with the right one but to me that’s not good enough because it already ruined my night and everyone else already ate there dinner so what’s the point of sitting there by yourself. So nope NOT HAPPY WITH OLIVE GARDEN

The latest version of app is great!!!. The last version of their ordering app was pretty terrible and riddled with errors. It appears this version has cleared most everything up! :) the user experience is so much more clean, intuitive, and simple to understand and use. There were no errors in my checkout process and the speed in which I was able to place my order was far better than before (and faster than ordering over the phone) Great job! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Good food except too much salt and offensive service.. Had 3 different entrees and they were well prepared: not overcooked, not much greasy and actually quite tasteful, EXCEPT everything was so salty that we literally had to scrub off a quarter of a teaspoonful of salt from the bread. It’s quite unhealthy. We mentioned it to the wait staff but he just turned away without saying anything. It was hard to get his attention to get some paper napkins and more hot water, so we had to ask other staff passing by. Yet he started coming around towards the end and collected the 20% tip anyway. We ended up eating only one third of the food and brought five little boxes of leftovers. My wife will “re-cook” them to make them edible. Waste of money and huge disappointment. We always liked the Olive Gardens for the authenticity of the Italian dishes but eating at this particular Olive Gardens in Elk Grove was a big disappointment. I don’t know what is wrong with them but we will probably stay away from this place until I read some good reviews about them. We will not recommend this place to anyone.

Simple interface, complex bugs. For the most part, it’s click and play as far as ordering goes on this application of Olive Garden, or their menu/ordering process. As you order, you’ll find yourself having to close and re-open the app, so as to overcompensate for what should’ve been a template that would allow you to see how much you have in your cart while ordering without resetting. Amongst other bugs I’m too lazy too mention, off the presumption that others have discussed these in their reviews - nonetheless I’m finding myself having to call in to order at times, in order to avoid all the bugs that are present on the app. So software developers - Fix it, before you fall to another company that’ll do it better and make money off of that fact OVER you.

BUGS. The app has issues. When you add an item to the cart a banner at the top that says ADDED is in the way so you can not back out of that particular category. Then every single time when I go to checkout it asks if I want to add a sauce with my breadsticks and it will not let me click either option so I have to close out the entire app and open it back up to go to the cart again. After doing this it will then let me get past the ‘add a sauce’ option to go on to the checkout. Also, once you make a selection for a meal then you can’t back up out of that particular category. I have to sometimes close off the app at this point as well. It takes longer to order thru this app than it does to prepare and go pick up the food, which is always delicious btw. Just need to sort out the app bugs.

The Waitlist feature is a joke. I joined the virtual waitlist which said my wait time was 30-35 minutes. So we waited and arrived at the restaurant on time and the app sent us a message saying that our check in time had arrived and they would hold our spot. We walked in the restaurant and the hostess told us we would have to wait an additional 30 minutes. She then told me that the waitlist feature only holds your spot in line. It doesn't mean that you get seated when your time arrives and that you still have to wait at the restaurant when you get there. I then overheard her tell someone who just walked into the restaurant that the wait time was 30 minutes. So basically I waited an hour (30 min virtual & 30 minutes in person) and another person who walked into the restaurant at the same time as me and had their name put onto the physical waitlist only had to wait 30 minutes. Ridiculous.

Hostess is terrible at treating people. We stopped by to eat at Olive Garden in Augusta today and don’t recommend it. They told us we were going to be a 15 minute wait and fine, so we sat and two people came in after us and than three more people came in and while waiting they sat the ones that came before us. Than it our turn and the hostess told us it was going to be five to ten minutes before we could be seated because our waitress had been double booked but continued to set the two who came in after us and than proceeded to go to seat the three that came in after us and asked the hostess why we weren’t being seated and they proceeded to tell them the same hogwash that they gave us. Hadn’t been there in two years and will not go back to the one in Augusta, wouldn’t want to overwhelm the waitress. Guess they have to much business but that is okay service at Longhorn was great, we didn’t overwhelm our waitress

App is awful. Slow, awkward, resets your cart, adds random stuff to the cart. Worst though? Don’t use it to order for a scheduled pickup time, because it will reset the time for “now”. On my last order, I ordered at 11:30 for my husband to pick up at 4:00. At noon, he got a call from the restaurant, because they had it all still sitting there, waiting. So the hot food was cool and the salad was soggy by the time he go finally got to bring it home. They are too busy trying to force up-sells in the app to bother with actually making it work for the customer. Just call your local restaurant, at least then someone might take responsibility for making things right.

Pam. Was really excited to order and then pick up but the app experience was not good. Instead of all chicken options or anything else being together some were under different locations so what I was looking for I couldn’t find until after I ordered, I found it under a difference option. And meals for 4-6 r under cater rather than family style. Finally, I wanted to pay online so someone else could pick up and set up a credit card but it would not let me pay. As time was passing I finally gave up and clicked on the pay when picking up. This app needs to be cleaner and, well, work correctly.

Glitchy. Yesterday I was trying place an order for pickup. The order came to about $170, then I added the tip so my final total was about $200 and clicked to pay for my order. Then an error occurred saying the order needed to be reprocessed because sales tax wasn’t not applied. We do not have a sales tax in Oregon. The app would not send my order to my local Olive Garden, and still showed my order sitting in the shopping bag waiting for me to finalize and was showing that I needed to click pay again. However, the app DID charge my card. So I had to call in and place the order over the phone and pay for the order again. The bank and the restaurant assured me the first charge would drop off my account since the order wasn’t finalized. But today, the charge is still showing as pending on my account. I don’t know about other people but I can’t exactly afford this app to be holding an extra $200. This dinner was a special occasion. Will never use this app again.

Pretty good app with some occasional issues. I’ve used the app to order Olive Garden a few times but have hit a couple issues recently that make it easier to just call in an order or order on the website: 1. I ordered a kids meal with a side and the order errored out with no explanation. When I called I found they were out of the item. The app needs to handle unavailable items better (don’t show them as available and let the customer know why the order failed in this situation) 2. Last night I tried ordering and no matter what payment method I tried (Apple Pay, saved credit card, and PayPal) the payment failed. I called in my order and had no issues with the same card.

Fix the wait list issue. Before leaving home I went to join the waitlist but it indicated there was no waiting so I didn’t submit my name. At the restaurant every seat in the lobby is taken, mostly by 2 groups, and several people are standing around in the area. The hostess said it’ll be a 25 minute wait for 2 people; I was looking at the app which still said no waiting. Yep, it was close to 25 minutes before being seated. The two most recent reviews before mine were written within the last seven days and they experienced the same waitlist problems I did so this issue hasn’t been addressed in a week.

Olympia wa Olive Garden. Went for a special occasion. Servers in the bar not helping each other so service was chaotic and “24 hour” style. Fast stops with no time for guest to answer the servers question before they walk off. Zero teamwork. Manager paying attention to to go orders and not the flow of the floor. Cold food, server advised but we had to specifically ask for reheat/replacement. The vegetables never came even well after we were finished eating our entrees. No pre bussing so we sat with dirty plates. No offer of dessert, again this was a special occasion so we wanted dessert. Ended up paying and leaving with full dirty table like the other guests around us. Servers need training, teamwork and leadership who knows how to see customers who are not getting appropriate service. We have been in 4 times this month, every time it’s not met the mark. Bring back Stacey or Michael who were phenomenal servers. Today was not a staffing issue, there were staff standing around. My advice, if you are going to pay $18 to $23 an entree go to a nicer Italian restaurant. Spaghetti Factory well exceeds this Olive Garden experience and is a way better guest value.

Wait list feature useless. Went to my local Olive Garden (Olathe KS) on Saturday and faced a 75 minute wait so didn’t eat there that time. Decided to download this app and use the Wait List feature on Monday night, had hopes it would be much better. At 6pm joined wait list and the app said expected wait time 61-75 minutes. Arrived at the restaurant about 7:05pm as 12th place on the list. Checked in with the hostess and was informed wait time would be 60-70 minutes. I told her about the app and that we’d already waited 65 minutes but was told that everyone else waiting also had checked in on the app so we’d have to wait the full time. Left the restaurant and don’t plan to ever return. Please tell me what is the point of the wait list in the app? It appears to have zero function whatsoever.

Great Experience in these stressful times!. If I think about it, I’ve never had a bad meal, bad service or any bad experience at Olive Garden. With all this going on, self employed single mom trying to keep my family afloat, My mom treated us to Olive Garden. Ordered on the app, understandably full menu wasn’t available but was happy with our choices. Drove up, within 3 minutes my order was at my car window. Super friendly server. Got home and nothing was missing! Yay! You’re doing a great job Olive Garden! Value your employees! Cudos! Thanks for a touch of normalcy and an enjoyable de-stresser.

Easier Protein Choice for Pasta Dishes. I frequently enjoy using the Olive Garden app to order my favorite dish, the Tortellini Alfredo. However, I've noticed that while the default option is chicken, I prefer shrimp with my Alfredo. Each time, I have to mention this preference in the notes section because the app does not currently offer a custom option to easily switch between chicken and shrimp. It would greatly enhance my ordering experience, if a direct option to customize this choice were integrated into the app's ordering process.

Something missing. Under all the stress everyone is going through today and now coming out to a new normal, curb side is great. However living 45 minutes from the nearest OG is a little daunting when they don’t get the order right. The last 2 times I have ordered and picked up they have missed something whether the extra meatballs or the angel hair pasta instead of fettuccine, is no matter. I call and am told that we’ll take care of you, our manager will send you a gift certificate to your email. Well, no surprise, there’s never an email and never a gift certificate to at least pay for the things that I have already paid for and never received in my orders. I love OG it’s my go to place for Italian food I just ask you follow through with checking to make sure our orders are correct and fulfill the promise of correcting your mistake and not with just hot air. I have spent my money on this and expect to get everything that I paid for. Other than that food is always good and service is always great. Thank you for getting it right most of the time.

Bug report. There is a bug in the app where special instructions do not get transmitted with the final order even though I make sure to hit save after entering. It does not happen every time but happens often. I just placed an order with version 2.10.1 and it occurred again. It happens so often that I have made it a habit to check the email message I get after submitting the order to check the special instructions and proceed to call the restaurant when the special instructions are missing. It’s aggravating to have to do this though.

Please bring back the request field. I used to be able to input special requests such as bagging the cold salads separate from hot food (causes the salad to wilt quickly). Not sure why but that field was recently taken away. If it was because customers would request things that cost money, the restaurants could simply not honor those requests, rather than take away the option for customers who don’t misuse that field. Being able to quickly request some extra napkins or simple items like that is really helpful. Please please please bring that field back!

Canadian app. Don’t like the fact that I cannot access Canadian prices and location

Olive garden. Trying to place a takeout order, and all it does it sits there trying to load, you would have to order for the next day with how it wont load the menu.

Wait List always unavailable. Wait list is never available online although I was told by the manager to use it.

Mo. Great for!

So good. 5 sar Hambrger

Waitlist. Useless app. Joining the waitlist is pointless. The app said no wait, but then got to the restaurant and had to wait 20 minutes and had to ask me for all my information that I already gave in the app.

Unbelievable. My wife and I ordered the Tour of Italy. My wifes order was a lot smaller then my plate. We asked our waitress about it and she took it back great. Then one minute late here comes the manager with the plate back. Yes the same plate she said she wanted to compare the size difference. My wife said really you wouldn’t take the customers word for it. The manager said she wanted to make sure she brought out the proper size to keep us happy. Are you kidding me never had this happen before not sure why she just wouldn’t believe the waitress or the customer. Also the waitress brought us hot plates to put our salad on. Not going here again.

App is impossible to use. I tried to make an order using this app and was unable to. There were a few key issues I found: 1) I could find no way to go to my cart once I was done selecting what I wanted. It appears the only way I can do that is to press add and go to cart on the last item. 2) Once in the cart, when I tried to check out it asked me if I wanted dipping sauces - I tried selecting no but it wouldn’t let me click the no button. I tried pressing yes and it wouldn’t let me click that either. Instead, the background appeared to be adding items or changing things and the focus was still set on the pop up. 3) I saw no way to select that I wanted curbside pickup. It’s a bummer that a company as big as Olive Garden has a completely unusable app :(

Great for dieting. The one thing the app does well is discourage ordering food. There is no way to go back once clicking on an item, leaving the only 2 options of ‘add to order’ or ‘add to order & check out’. The only way I have found to get out of this situation is to completely shut down my phone and restart. After wasting 10 minutes trying to order, I usually give up. And forget about trying to view cart, it works maybe one out every five times. Most of the time, I give up and try to order from the website or get food elsewhere.

Zero ⭐️ and deleted. Downloaded the app again after a few months. Had to delete the first because the app was saying no Olive Garden from where we live. When clearly we have 2 here. So when I download it again, no surprise here. Same stating no Olive Garden. On app as favorite restaurant, as default it has CA as favorite. So when tried changing the restaurant location to a Olive Garden in Hawaii, it’s saying we have no restaurant here. We have 2 restaurants in the state. I guess for this app, our State is not important to put on the map.

Frustrating check out. This app is beyond annoying I don’t understand why it gives you the option to pay before a pick up. It’s constantly not taking payments. I tried three different cards on Apple Pay and none of them worked. I tried using two cards I had on file and they didn’t work. I had to go back to the settings delete all cards on file and add them again. The whole check out process takes about 15 mins and then you have to continue to change your pick up time. Very annoying and this happens every time.

Revamp App. Today I placed an order for lunch and was trying to give special instructions; however, it would only allow a few characters. I was allowed instructions for one order and part of another which I was unable to complete. How can I give instructions when I’m unable to complete them. And when it comes to asking for utensils that should be automatic not an option. Need to offer more lunch options. I wanted Salmon with broccoli and the only option is dinner size. What if I don’t want dinner size? Guess I just don’t order it.

App Needs Improvement. Attempted to place an order tonight and got an error message twice. I don’t recall the exact error but something like the order failed to go through to the restaurant. We said forget it, picked up food from a drive through and went home. About an hour later we get a call from someone at Olive Garden wanting to know if we were going to pick up our food! My husband explained what happened and they canceled the order. I checked the app and our order is still in the “cart” just like it like it never went through. But I checked my email and sure enough there is an order confirmation. So frustrating!

Doesn’t work completely.. I am on version 2.6.2 shows as newest version. The app does not show me items in my cart after they were added. It says added at top but I can’t access the cart to checkout. Had to go to my computer to finish my online order. During a pandemic I would expect this app to be well tuned app, as online orders have been more of the norm but doesn’t help if I can’t checkout with the items I’ve selected. Might be better off just ordering online instead of the app

App unusable. Placed an order and kept timing out and would not accept stored credit card. Tried to renter and timed out. Gave me an updated time to pick up order and it had not accepted my order. Was at the restaurant to pick up the food when I realized this. The App would not allow me to enter the order so needed to place the order in the restaurant as I wanted to eat. credit card went through just fine. Restaurant did NOTHING for my issues. I have deleted the App and will be having my last dinner here at Olive Garden. Worst app ever.

Please fix this. I love og and I love using the app. Until I try to pay for my to go order. It has my credit card on file, it’s selected but then I can’t pay. It says no payment method selected. I choose a different card and come back to the first one...same error. I try to scan the card again...it wont scan. I enter the info AGAIN and it says this info is already here. NO. DUH. Please fix this. And add car delivery! Shouldnt have to come inside.

OG Online & Pickup Order. I’ve used this app many times at my local Monroe, NC OG. I’m pleased to say I never had an issue of wait time or my order being incorrect. Ordering online with the app is very easy. I’m given a time which let’s me know when my order will be ready. The hostess checked my order against the receipt and read aloud each item as it was taken out of the bag for accuracy. Thanks for an awesome app!!!

Not working AT ALL.. My boyfriend, my parents and I are planning to go to Olive Garden tomorrow and I was downloading the app for to be able to join the waitlist tomorrow, and receive a free appetizer. I downloaded it and I have tried to make an account several times, I have deleted the app and re downloaded it, I have reset my phone with nothing helping. I have tried to do any and every thing in the app and it will do NOTHING. I can’t make an account, I cannot attempt to join the wait list, I cannot try to order on to-go. NOTHING. WILL. WORK. Very upset. If I could give no starts I would.

Great app. First time using this app and I’m impressed. I’m old (50) and am leery of trying new stuff, especially adding restaurant apps to my fone. Using this app cut down my wait time for a table dramatically. It was easy to install and navigate my way around. I have no social media influence, so will have to recommend using this app to my friends when I talto them in person. ✊

Horrible service. We made reservations for two, by the time we got to the restaurant, the hostess was rude and disrespectful, we told her we made reservations in the app and her reply was we don’t make reservations if you want you can wait if not go, that’s exactly what we did we left, we went to the restaurant next door “ Red Lobster “ we ate delicious and we had the best service, you guys should provide customer service training and stop hiring people like that, that we go to your restaurant to eat and have good time, good service is a most at all time.

Very buggy. Tried buy a dinner and it took me 30 minutes of restarting the app so that the cart icon would appear and I could check out. and then when I went to check out it wouldn’t let me pay and then after 15 attempts of pressing “pay” , all of a sudden it brings me to order confirmed screen where my order was duplicated and cost 100 bucks and I had to call to confirm it didn’t go through and then give my order on the phone. Luckily it didn’t go through or I would have been really mad

Lacking. Had lunch there today and was very disappointed. Breadsticks came out cold and hard. We sent them back. 2nd set came out somewhat hot but they still weren’t good, they were very chewy. They appeared to be leftovers from yesterday. The soup came out and while it was hot, it was the blandest soup I’d ever had there. There was no ranch dressing for the salad. Our waitress was friendly enough but not overly attentive. Overall it was a lackluster experience.

Best Take Out!!. Our meal was packed and reviewed with us before we left. Ordering via the app allows you to select what plates utensils ect that you need. I only wish you could order extras from the app.... like extra dressing or to have them put the cheese on your salad instead of using the cheese in packets. Service was amazing!! They didn’t forget the mints 🤩!! Be sure to order at least an hour before you need your food!!

Very poor and they make you use it. Worst app I’ve used from a major chain. It crashed multiple times while I was trying to make an account. Both the Apple Pay and PayPal options didn’t work so I had to spend more time putting in my card information. I had to enter this manually because their card scanner didn’t work. Took me 45 minutes to get my simple order completed. More time if you include the time it took to call and be told I have to order through the app. The app should work much better if I’m going to be forced to use it.

Pointless. One might expect the “join the wait list” feature on the app to be a convenient and contact free way to get signed up for a table. It’s not. I was told today that it’s meaningless unless you go to check In physically. I just wasted THREE HOURS waiting for my turn on the waitlist to tick down. When I saw that “you’re ninth on the wait list” hadn’t moved in 45 minutes, I called the restaurant and was told first that the online waitlist shouldn’t be active today, and then told that it doesn’t matter anyway. I used to go to Olive Garden a lot. No more.

Apple Pay doesn’t work. Overall ok app but when I try to pay with Apple Pay it requires a phonetic name and refuses to accept my billing address because of this. I have no idea how to make Apple Pay work. Also it won’t let you create an account using Apple ID for quick reordering. Frustrating and easier to go to other restaurants that let you create account without giving up your email. Except this app ALSO wants your birthday which should not be a requirement for reordering pasta.

Salad. Olive Garden has excellent food but they’re starting to get skimpy with the salads I purchased the shrimp fettuccine and lasagna Classico and kids meal with spaghetti and meatballs every time I visit Olive Garden I spend at least $40 to $70 on Family members for take home I was thinking about catering for thanksgiving but I’m scared the salad wouldn’t be filling oh well I give some heavy thought I looking for improvement maybe add military discounts like other restaurants thanks Red 👠

Don’t bother checking in with the app. It’s an okay app for checking opening and closing times of your local restaurant (of course there always google maps), and looking at your loyalty points. However, there’s no point to using the app to get on the “wait list” ahead of time. I did so, was told by the app I was 23rd on the list and there’s a 30 minute wait, got in the car and drove 20 minutes to the restaurant, and by that time I was... 26th in line!!! Isn’t that neat? Guess what they told me the wait time was once I was at the restaurant? 30 minutes. So, yeah. Don’t bother checking in ahead of time.

So yummy and service was top notch!!. We ate lunch today at the Springfield, Mo location. The food was delish AND our server Zach was amazing (sat near bar). He was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to be sure we didn't have empty glasses or need more soup or salad! Please make sure to give a huge KUDOS to him from myself and my husband!

Seating Problem. The Olive Garden on US 41 in Fort Myers, Fl. has a terrible seating problem. When you enter, there are always three or more people at the front attempting to seat you. 99% of the time I have to wait even though there are MANY open tables available. They make seating a real chaotic and unpleasant experience. They stand and discuss it as if they were planning some major event! The one in Cape Coral, on Pine Island Road, on the other hand, is wonderful. You walk in, one person greets and seats you, usually immediately without drama or chaos. Such a difference!!! Atmosphere is also much better at the Cape Coral one.

Poor customer service. Poor customer service. Seated at 5:32, no one acknowledge us until 5:48. Asked to speak to the manager. Lisa came to our table and offered an appetizer. My husband placed a drink order. While this was happening the family who was seated in front of us settled their bill, left, table was cleared, new family was seated and served. We exited at 6:06, my husband still had not received his drink, yet the new family of five already had theirs. I find this unacceptable! The manager did nothing to improve the situation. I will not return.

Pointless; use the website. As a celebration for us moving to a bigger home, we thought to celebrate with Olive Garden. Since the virus is still going, we tried the app for the first time. We couldn’t find our usual orders. What we did order — like breadsticks — was “out of stock” (they weren’t), it changed my husband’s order to a kid’s version for whatever reason, and then it refused to submit the order until the breadsticks were removed. I removed them; it repeated the error. Nothing made the error go away. I couldn’t order. By the time I gave up, we had pulled up to pick up our order that didn’t exist. Someone cheerfully came out and took our order, but it was miserable with all of us stuffed into a car while we waited. The saddest part is that the app even warned us we may want to use the website to order, and we didn’t. Lesson learned!

Useless Waitlist Feature 😡. I re-downloaded the app for the waitlist feature for Mother’s Day that was working pre-Covid. However, NONE of the 6 locations within 1 hour of us in San Bernardino/Riverside county California are using the feature. I called our local restaurant in Victorville, CA and was told the only way to get on the waitlist was to physically come in, NO calling ahead, NO using the app! What’s the point of a feature that’s not being used, ESPECIALLY as Covid restrictions relax and reservation/advanced planning are almost essential!? Haven’t been to Olive Garden in over a year, not gonna break that streak anytime soon.

Poor Waitlist. I was going to schedule my visit on Thursday ahead of time, but no they don’t want me because it’s for the same day list.... I have to say bull crap on that one! I even talked to their Facebook page about this and told me to call them when in reality the people I called said to do it online! This is POOR customer service I ever seen!

Disappointed. We checked in online. My wife wanted to take our young children (ages4,5,6)to dinner as back to school treat. We checked in online and we’re told upon arrival that online check ins aren’t in their official reservation book. They said they’d cut out wait time from one hour to 30 minutes. Our kids were hungry and waiting (and behaving) in a crowded restaurant wouldn’t have been a pleasant experience for anyone. We left, disappointed and hungry. My question is, why have online check in if the restaurant staff won’t honor it?

Unable to sign in. I love this restaurant and I was able to make a curbside order thru the webpage! Unfortunately I can’t sign in and utilize this app! I keep getting a message saying “unable to process your request at this moment. Please try again.” Even if I try google or Facebook or Apple login nothing works. Software is up to date on my iPhone 12 so I’m not sure what else it could be. Powered off and back on device and closed out all open tabs. Any advice on how to make this work would greatly be appreciated! I even tried on WiFi and cellular, no difference :(

Not actually accurate wait times. I tried to beat the line and join the waitlist before coming out to Olive Garden but when I arrived I was not on the wait list and was told there was a 30-40 minute wait. The app STILL said the wait time for my party size was 0-10 minutes. I would have been better off just calling the restaurant or showing up with no idea of the wait. Instead, I was given a false expectation and was very frustrated just seconds into my visit.

I’ll be back...... I do a lot of take out. I like the promptness I get when I order online, also like the options I have in paying for my order. (paying at the restaurant )Never been unhappy with my food. The help is very pleasant and make me feel special, ya see I’m a single customer. Adore your specials. Keep up with the Great Food and Service.

Curbside Pickup. It was my first time using a curbside pick up and to my avail, it was not convenient. We had to wait *45-50 min post online order placement. *We checked in our parking spot so someone from the restaurant to come 5-8 minutes from scheduled order pick up to take note it was us. *25-30 min. Wait post pick up time, I was so frustrated and hungry. I knew I would never do Curbside pick up again.

Disappointing. This app only works correctly half the time. This time, no matter how I entered it, it would not accept my card information. Each attempt pushed my order pickup time back, nearing the end of the lunch period. I finally attempted to use another card, but my pick up time was now pushed to five minutes past lunch (despite the order being placed being placed well within the lunch period). So three people won’t be eating here for the second time in as many weeks.

Wait feature in app is completely off. Kept checking to see the waiting time in advanced, said no waiting time. But when we got there, there’s a 20+ minute wait. Kept checking as we waited, never changed off zero minute wait, despite checking repeatedly. Good news is the staff was quick so it ended up being a 7 minute wait.

Total crap. Created an account. Saved my password in Apple keychain when I made account. Tried to log into the app, invalid password. No, it was correct. Try to change my password, the password confirmation said the passwords don’t match. Retyped it, same outcome, retyped it, same outcome. they matched. Wouldn’t let me login. Went to make some changes in the account on the actual website, now it wants my address before it lets me proceed. You don’t need my address. You want my money and I want your noodles. Let me give you my money and you can give me some noodles. You don’t need my address. Hour wasted, app deleted. Went to Texas Roadhouse.

Olive Garden new update. App works great. I had dinner with my wife and another couple yesterday. Excellent service and fantastic meal. I updated app today because I added my wife’s fingerprint to phone so she could use app if needed to make reservation or order online if need be. Other than she needs to do more online ordering if the need arises, the update is working great.

So much better than previous app. However I am unable to pay for an online order. I have credit card on my account which I used through a browser. However when I try to pay with the app I get an error “There are no payment methods” even though my card is selected and showing. Do you have a support process? If you do it’s hidden! The link from the App Store for support doesn’t work

Putting a gift card on the app is useless. Received an e-gift card and thought it would be cool to put it on the app to use as a alternate payment method. (It’s the only reason why I downloaded the app) Well, when we were ready to pay, we showed my phone to our server & he did not know what to do as the gift card does not show the whole number. When we tried to tap on the gift card, it doesn’t do anything nor are there any instructions on what to do. Even the manager couldn’t help. What a waste. Please fix this. Thank you.

App fail. We had gone to Olive Garden in Middleburg Hts, assured by your app that there was no wait time. On arrival we were told there was at least 25-30 minutes wait. The waiting area was full with all seats occupied and eight people standing. We checked the app again while standing there, and it still showed no wait. Three other locations also showed zero wait time; I assume these were also wrong. We will no longer use your app as it is clearly so inaccurate as to be useless. There are many other restaurants in the area; we went to one of them instead. I doubt we will return to yours.

Now Charging for Soup with Kids Meals. We visited Olive Garden in West Springfield, MA recently and were charged $6.79 for a bowl of soup that used to be included with her meal. She always orders the same thing, and we’ve never been charged extra. When I inquired with the waitress, she told me they’d recently started charging for the soup or salad with kids meals. That would have been a nice mention when the soup was ordered! An up charge is one thing, but the soup cost as much as the meal (drink also not included).

Great, when it works…. Twice now in the past six months the app has quit working. It starts with my not being able to check in for curbside pickup, then it progresses to where I can’t use it at all because it keeps stopping saying, “ Sorry there is a problem and your order cannot be completed “. It’s been like this for the past two weeks now. Previously, it continued till it seemed like someone finally did a full system reboot. Very frustrating!

Google is more on target then the app. We went to go here because the app said there was no wait for 1-2 people. When we got here they told us it was a 45 minute wait. I liked at the app again 2 minutes later it said a 10-15 minute wait for 1-2. Google said that is was slower than normal but about a 30 minute wait. Maybe the app should look in to using googles estimate as it is a better predictor than Olive Gardens own app which should be getting information from their own computer system. Or should be managed better to reflect the actual wait time.

What’s the point of the waitlist???. Why have an online waitlist if it doesn’t actually save you a place in line? I joined the waitlist at 5:52 with a wait time of 40-50 minutes. We showed up at the restaurant at 6:32 and were told we would have to wait at least another hour and that we had to physically be in the restaurant to be placed on the waitlist. If that is your policy, then you should at least make it clear when people sign up to the waitlist online that it is completely pointless.

Buggy for month. I don’t know how this app has a high rating. The app is incredibly buggy. Food items (Alfredo pasta) for example says it’s no longer available when I click on it How is Alfredo ‘not available’ when it’s literally on the menu all of the time? Using a gift card is incredibly unstable so much so that you have to call the restaurant. When you add an item to the menu, the added banner remains on top of the page, hiding the check out button. I have complained several times in 2020 with no progress. I’m tired of complaining and nothing being done. Please do something about the stability and effectiveness of your app. We love Olive Garden but hate the lengths that have to be taken just to get a little food from a system that is meant to make it all too easy.

Wonderful comforting food. We love Olive Garden and their buy one take one meals. When we make our monthly trip to Walmart for groceries we pick up our meals at our near by Olive Garden. We even pick up for my elderly mother so she gets to enjoy too! Thank you for being open for us to enjoy, a little bit of enjoyment in these difficult times.

One little thing makes the app unusable.. We love Olive Garden and the app is fantastic but I really hope someone sees this.. On the kids chicken fingers and pasta: My daughter will not eat red sauce so we always get butter/garlic when we go in the restaurant however, there is no way to edit that I this app. I know it's minor but it forces me to call every time and makes the app useless for me. Knowing kids are picky, I imagine in but alone in this. I would love to not have to call for this simple change. Thank you!

Doesn’t work. Tried to order spaghetti and meatballs for 4 and the website said oops, you forgot something. Changed to spaghetti with meat sauce and it added to my cart after offering me a salad, which it did not do with meatballs. Tried the app and it wouldn’t even let me choose spaghetti with anything. Called the restaurant and after several encouragements to order online by the phone robot, the actual person that finally answered the phone was able to place my order with no problem, except she was insistent on taking my credit card which I never do over the phone. She finally agreed to take my card at pickup.

NO SAUCE!. why is 'no sauce' not an option? i have a picky eater who doesn't like sauce, just wants plain pasta with chicken. i try to put in special instructions, but more often than not, we get pasta with the sauce because i have to select a sauce to add it to the cart. sometimes the cart doesn't reflect what i have chosen, even after attempting to change it multiple times. this is all a bummer because we love olive garden and using the app to order is easier than having to phone in a big order.

Bugs. The app will not accept my special instructions. I have to request sauce on the side because in create your own pasta there is not an option for “no sauce.” And now my instructions aren’t being transmitted, so I have to call in every order and sit on hold when staff are busy. Please fix the special instructions. (Would be even better if you allowed instructions with each item instead of once at the end of the order.)
