Easy to use. It's really easy to use and my techs are able to share data back and forth live from the fields.

Good intentions, needs work. We need this primarily for scanning documents. I love that it uploads directly to Box but I can’t use it because the PDF file size is ENORMOUS! If we then need to print what we’ve scanned, it takes too long to queue. Please give us a setting to reduce the file size—setting it to “small” in the current application isn’t cutting it.

Not Unlimited - 10gb. In the description it mentions something along the line of never running out of storage or unlimited or something. It has a 10gb capacity. Just say that in the description please.

Why is this a separate app?. Dropbox and iCloud have the scan feature integrated right into the app. You can scan a doc right into the file you’re currently working in. Box will let you do this with a photo (jpeg) but for a pdf you have to open this separate app, scan, then do a lot of poking around until you find the file you want to put it in. Hmmm...

Document Scan is huge enhancement!. Multi-page Document Scan is a huge enhancement that I will use often. Thanks for including!

Forced portrait mode. Does not allow landscape mode (for iPad or iPhone)

Great idea. I love the concept but our firm needs panoramic functionality for our line of work. We will try again if they add this feature. Super convenient for integrating with Box and saving steps for transferring photos from your phone!

Fix the File Size Issue!. It was bad enough when I had to use this in an event of an emergency but now that we have to use it daily for work-from-home (due to COVID-19), it is making work impossible. Fix the file size issue!

Works great, desire OCR enhancement. Captures all data as advertised. Easy to use. Would like document capture to do OCR please!

Very good, and easy to use. Meets my needs and reliable. Would be nice if document scanning had a jpg option and document touch up!

No More Bills in Photos Albums!!!. I have this on the bottom next to my phone app. I used to get embarrassed when I would show family photos of our vacation and have to hide our bills, mail, and IRS stuff. This app stores it all on Box and by default leaves your phone with tons of space. You can also store video so boom record meetings or presentations without crapping up your personal photos. Best app ever I removed safari to fit it in there.

Can't mass upload?. Got this hoping to replace icloud. But it doesn't look like you can 'select all' to mass upload files and photos...do I have to select thousands of photos one by one??

Orientation. This app works well and has replaced the default iOS app! It is, however, missing one thing. Pictures are not taken w.r.t. The orientation of the device. That is, when I take a picture with the device oriented long side horizontal, the pictures are sideways when reviewed even though the device was aware of its offset orientation.

Great app. But it does not capture by pressing the volume buttons :(

Required a reinstall after upgrade to iOS 15. Good program, allows me to keep my home inspection photos off my camera roll and downsize them automatically to reduce storage requirements and increase reviewing speed. I thought that it had broken with the upgrade to iOS 15 but I deleted and reinstalled and it works again.

Requesting manual focus. It would be a great addition if the ability to disable autofocus and allow manual focus was included. This would help this app’s incorporation into many eye clinics that want to make use of the HIPAA security capabilities of Box.

Crashes after iOS 15 update.. Will not work after 15 iOS update. Crash, crash crash…

Great business photo app. I found this app to use with taking pictures for work and uploading to Box to share with my colleagues. Easy to use, well designed and all connected to Box!

Need work. This is a handy app to easily scan multiple pages for uploading into box; however, for me, I noticed the file sizes for scanned PDF files are too large. I switched to a third party app for scanning paper to PDF and the files sizes are a lot less.

Good but we need to snap photos using the volume button. This is good, but we want to quickly snap photos, like the built in photo app, by clicking the volume button. Can you guys build that in?

5 Star App if.... If it could take pictures by pressing the volume buttons... If it recognized portrait/landscape orientation... If there was a panorama photo option... That would make it GREAT!!! Add those features and I will GLADLY change my review to 5 STARS!!!

Document scan lacking in comparison to most scanner apps.. This app is wonderful for photos but the document scanner is lacking. The best scanner in App Store is scannable. Box document scanner basically just takes a picture of the document and crops it. Where is the black and white option. As of now it only allows grayscale and color.

A camera roll in the cloud. Simple, well designed app for Box. Killer feature is avoiding your local camera roll entirely, saving local storage space. It's in the cloud. Bravo!

Apple Headphone Control Buggy. Don't get me wrong, love Box Capture. However, the new update has made the app's response to my iPhone 7 headphone controls quite buggy. I can no longer click to play audio or double click to skip to the next capture. Addressing this would be... great.

Crashes. Lots of crashes right now. Is this due to iOS 14 coming out?

Extremely convenient. Step 1. Sign up for a free box account. Step 2. Log into the Capture App using same credentials from box Step 3. Take pictures/videos/scan documents in Capture Step 4. Select folder/location where the picture/file should live in Box (it will remember the location for future reference 👍) Step 5. Repeat step 3.

Great Camera. This is a great camera. Very useful, however no landscape mode. Still great though!

Scan tool needs flash option. Please add an option to turn on the camera light or flash when using the Scan tool.

Pictures aren’t as good anymore. Pictures used to be super clear, and when taking pictures it was always easy to take a stable pic. Now more and more come out blurry. Latest updated must have messed up a few things. Also when looking at the screen to take the pic, there is a wavy motion on the screen, almost like a water effect. Can these issues please get addressed? Thanks.

Game Changer. We were in development process with our own app to achieve all of what Capture now does and some additional features. When this was released we stopped. The recently released feature of selecting image resolution has many benefits that we have immediately leveraged. Please provide a pencil-type sketch tool to markup images taken. Great job Box team!

Fantastic. I have a commercial facility services business and a need of capturing images at various times and for various reasons. The procedure in the past has always been to capture images using the native iPhone app and hopefully get around to uploading the the images, and then to remove them from my phone. With this app, the image is stored until there is a wifi connection then it is moved from your phone to Box. This is perfect for just capturing the image, but I would pay if the image included readily searchable meta data with GPS coordinates, and other information for compliance and evidential purposes. Currently the ability to create folders where to store information, as well as the ability to preview or simply click away is also great. Later, I would like to see the ability to open the Box app from the Capture app to further handle the image, or the ability email from Capture. It's free, and because its from Box for Box it will only get even better.

App crashes immediately. Since the iOS14.0 update, the app crashes immediately after opening so it’s unusable.

Goto scanning app for receipts etc. Works so well and integrated with my box account.
