App not accurate. The air filter is lovely but the app doesn’t show the history any more even with refreshing over and over. And the values also can’t be read for some. It’s not really a good app that is helpful for the device. And it goes offline and then impossible to try and get back online. No customer supports. Really frustrating. The app now no longer syncs with the device and there is no customer service. TERRIBLE

No longer loads with iOS18. When you open the app with iOS 18, there is nothing but a white screen. I own 4 of these units. What a waste of money. I wish iRobot would take responsibility and honor their product if they still want us to fork over $299 for each air filter. Might just take them to the landfill when they need a new filter

The app is worthless. It logs you out, frequently asks you to reconnect the devices, and makes it difficult to update information.

The App simply does not work. Glitchy and inconsistent.. Also the analytics could be better.

Zero stars. Terrible. App is garbage.. Constantly loses connection to the unit which also will run excessively high. It is no longer possible to open the app. Greed wins again.

Does not connect to wifi. I’ve tried multiple times and the app won’t connect to the aeris lite wifi. So I can’t use the app. I see multiple people are having the same issue. Lame.

Terrible app. For a product that can cost upwards of $1000, you would think they’d invest in a working app. Half the features don’t work, you can’t update the firmware when ones available and you can’t see the connected air purifier most of the time. An absolute poor attempt on an app.

Terrible update. New UI is really terrible!! Love my purifier but the new app update makes everything more complicated. All anyone cares about is controlling purifier speed (1-5) and filter life in percent. Keep it simple!!! Company is shooting themselves in their own foot! Too bad!

Great filter, dumb app.. Analytics are lame, app seems to randomly control filter speed. Even when filter is set to manual control, the app will automatically adjust the filter setting to its highest setting periodically. This doesn’t make sense, as the air quality according to the filter, is excellent, so why would it kick itself into high gear if reading says current air quality is excellent. Also the level of info aeris gives on filters is lacking. So while the filter seems to be doing a good job, the poor analytics means you just have to trust that it is. I have other filters that have no analytics, which is less annoying because I don’t expect them to tell me anything. When you expect info and get little of it, it’s kind of annoying. But the filter is beautiful and quiet on low settings.

Ghosted. The touchpad stopped working after a few months. They sent me a new one and the touch pad worked but the filter no longer detected the indoor air quality and smart mode did not function. I informed their customer service and they said everything was good on their end when they sent out the new top unit. They told me they would pass me on to their tech team for a firmware update. This was months ago and they have not replied to any of my follow ups.

Unable to connect to Wi-Fi without passwords. My lab purchased the Gas Pro unit but the app will not connect to Wi-Fi networks that are public and don’t require a password. The app will not let you move on unless you enter something in the password bar so how am I even supposed to use this? iRobot customer service was also useless and couldn’t help me with the setup process on the phone.

Aeris wifi and purifier. The wifi on the purifier will not stay connected longer than a half a day and it takes about that long to connect it to begin with. I have no issues with any other smart devices in my home staying connected. This make purifying manual work. Plus I’m not sure how well this purifier works even. We’ve had more allergic reactions with this purifier than a cheaper smaller square footage purifier that we used for years. This is overpriced and under delivers. We are charged for features that do not work at all. Very veeeeery disappointed with the amount of money spent.

Great air filter system app needs work. Great air systems. They app is functional but not easy to set up schedules. And app historical data is hard to see trends or data. App is easy for turning on or off, auto. Adjust speeds etc . Overall product system is great. App needs work .

Works perfectly. The app does exactly what I want. I work from home, so I really only need to program it when I’m sleeping. I love I can remotely turn it to max 5 minutes before I’m back from shopping and leave it on max for an hour. I’ve had it for 2 months and have no complaints. They also have website chat support that responds in minutes if you have questions. Overall, A+.

App no longer works which makes air purifier unusable. Why did iRobot buy out Aeris, only to let it become an obsolete waste of money?! I’m so frustrated. The replacement filters already cost a fortune, but now my air purifier is basically unusable because it’s stuck on the lowest setting and I cannot change it. The touch panel on my air purifier recently stopped responding, so I tried to use the app that use to work great before iRobot bought out the company. The app had been glitchy ever since, but it at least used to load even when my air purifiers wouldn’t connect to it. Now when I try to use the app, it doesn’t do anything except load a blank white screen. Which isn’t surprising considering it hasn’t had an update in 2 years! I have invested over $3k in aeris air purifiers and filters over the last 5 years and now they are all essentially useless. Thanks a lot iRobot!

The app will not connect. It is a total piece of garbage.. I own four of these regardless of what I do it will not connect to my iPhone using the AERIS app it’s ridiculous. It just goes in circles you put it in the proper mode “I’m Listening “select it’s Wi-Fi and so I care of Wi-Fi put the password in and it just cycles back to start again, it’s totally ridiculous and pathetic fix this you losers.

Aeris Med Pro. Do not purchase any of these machines…the App and the machine are like a woman and a man who do not get a long!! It does not matter what the App is set on in a few minutes the machine will be doing something different. I can’t believe they have not had a class action law suit filed against them?? California??

Frozen Screen at SignUp. Paid $500 for the aeris air lite air purifier. Arrived today in “apple” like packaging.. directions refer to the aeirs iPhone app in several place for key functions, assuming the app tech is part of the justification for price. App experience is not apple like.. couldnt get past the signup screen without freezing. Cant use many features. Very disappointing:(

No customer support for my issues. My purifier, has stopped indicating the indoor air aqi on the app as well as on the physical purifier. Only way to contact is to call iRobot and they send a case to Aeris. They took days to reply via email, and the instructions provided did not work. My product is within the 2 year warranty and I am not able to get resolution to replace the product. Do not buy this product.

App is horrible. This app is always down making this pricey gadget useless. Regret this purchase

Garbage app. Doesn’t work! Can’t even log I to the app anymore, says servers are being upgraded and will take few minutes. How does a few minutes equal to 3 days. Company wants top dollar for device but won’t spend money in the app. Device should come with remote. Once filter expires, moving on to another air purifier not owned by this company! Lazy, lazy, lazy work ethics! 👎👎👎

Basically A Remote Control. They should have just given you a remote control with the purifier because that’s all this app does. So many of the features are confusing or just plain don’t work. It gives an indoor and outdoor AQI but I’m not sure how reliable they are. The graphs to track it never update and the programs don’t work either. The program feature in the app was the whole reason I bought this air purifier. I wanted to program the bedtime mode (since it’s in our bedroom), fast clean times when we aren’t home and the noise wouldn’t be a bother and also adjust the fan speed depending on when we are home and not home for it to run more efficiently. But it doesn’t follow the programs. They all deactivate upon creating them and when you toggle them on, they deactivate again. It take so much work to setup these programs and then they don’t even work. Every time I put the device in smart mode, it just goes to the high fan speed even though it’s reading an AQI of 1 or 2 (which is nearly perfect). So that’s why I question the accuracy of the AQI reading and find this app to be pretty useless. You can remotely change the fan speed in manual mode on the app. That’s all that works. And since the purifier touch controls on the device are kind of sensitive, the remote control option is good to have. However they could have just made a remote control for the device instead of an app with a bunch of features that don’t even work.

App is broken. Can’t even login

Aeris Air Purifier. I bought two different models of these units and both already had to be replaced within 4 Months after purchase there warranty department took 40 days to resolve the worst company ever to deal with ,now having additional problems working with App DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BRAND OVER PRICED AND NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS

Absurd that it requires a mobile phone number. You need a mobile phone number to create an account. Not going to happen. We bought four of these to use in a theatre so we don’t want it bound to a single persons mobile. If you want to use these in any sort of business/retail setting then don’t bother…

Horrible app. I have the Aair Lite. Deleting a program you created does not work as it still activates even if it’s gone from the list. I have removed my air purifier and added it back to troubleshoot, but the problem still persists. So annoying. Plus, it’s a pain to order filter replacements because for months now, it’s been out of stock.

Aeros won’t connect to WiFi. Worked for a year and now won’t connect to WiFi. Doesn’t matter with a hard restart, delete reinstall, WiFi works piece of junk can’t connect. I want my money back

Out of business. They are out of business, sold off and abandoned the app for new subscribers. all you’ll see is “we’re updating our servers” but it’s not true.

Awful. The app no longer works. The sign-in page is a blank screen. I tried deleting/reinstalling the app to no avail. Ridiculous for a very expensive air filter.

The app is horrible. I noticed my purifier not working and the app kicked me out and I haven’t been able to login since then. I keep an error message that it’s updating its servers.

Terrible app. What a terrible app; always have connect issues

App won’t allow me to create an account online. And therefore, I can’t even add my brand new Air Purifier so that I can control it with the app. So what good is this?

Impossible to connect to WiFi. This app simply does not work, it fails to connect the device to the WiFi network after multiple attempts. FIX ASAP!!!

Awful app. I am considering returning the air filter because the app is sluggish, poorly designed, disconnected, and useless, but you NEED it in order to have any interaction/ receive information from the filter itself, as there is no physical display. I have to reset the device every time I open the app. And I have to reset the app and the filter’s network every time I unplug the filter to move it to another location. Unbelievably frustrating after spending $500 on this filter over other expensive name brands.

Always Broken. So disappointing. They charge over $1,000 for a purifier and don’t give you a physical remote. This app regularly stops working. You just get the white screen of death and there’s absolutely nothing you can do to fix it. If you contact support, they give you the run around instead of admitting that they know the app is down. Took them months to fix it last time. Now it’s down again. Plus the user interface is weird, and the app is useless besides the remote feature.

Worthless. This app never works right. This thing cost to much to not be working right. If the air was the quality it says most the time I’d be dead!! Waste of $500

WiFi. The app needs a update that will fix WiFi. It’s difficult to connect to WiFi. The product is great if you can get it connected to WiFi.

Useless. At one point this used to work. Now, as others have said, it’s just a white screen. $1000 for an air purifier that you can’t do anything with except change the speed on the interface of the unit. What a waste of money.

Doesn’t allow for overnight schedule. The app will not let you set up a program that allows for overnight control of the machine. Please configure to allow overnight scheduling.

Useless app. This app is useless. The text to verify doesn’t work. I can’t connect my device.

Worthless beyond basic remote features. Update: Reinstalled the app due to severe wildfire smoke and an outdoor AQI of nearly 400. Keep getting a message saying “oops”, servers are down, try again later. Two days later I still can’t log in. At a critical time when I most needed this Aeris to work as intended, it severely let me down. Time to give up on Aeris and buy another Dyson. At least that machine and the app both work properly. This app is practically worthless. It frequently logs the account out for no reason. It also provides little functionality beyond basic remote control. The app shows outdoor and indoor AQI but that’s about it. The device fan will frequently speed up to top speed spontaneously out of the blue and both the app and device indicate an AQI of 999. That would basically be like standing in a carbon monoxide filled garage or the surface of Venus. It’s obvious something is either malfunctioning or a pollutant is strongly affecting the sensor. I never know because the app gives no reason for the sudden spike nor any other useful readings. Sometimes the 999 AQI quirk doesn’t last long. Other times, the purifier will run extremely loud until the device is powered off or put into sleep mode. Other purifiers with companion apps give CO2, VOC, particulates and other individual pollutant levels so you know exactly what is normal, elevated, or causing a spike. That is helpful for mediating sudden AQI changes. Merely seeing a 999 AQI tells me absolutely nothing.

Not looking good.. The app won’t even let me create an account to use it. Go through entering all my info, verifying by text but it keeps glitching out when I create a passcode. And yes, I’m sticking within all the requirements for the password. Step the F up IRobot.

Glorified remote control. This app is a glorified remote control. None of the other functions work. VERY Disapponted for the price.

Horrible. Simply put, skip this product. I really regret buying 3 of them. Their support literally ghosted me as well.

Does not work with IOS 18.0. Flaky before and does not open on latest software

Trash app. Paid extra for a "smart" air filter and app is complete trash.

Erika pan. I just bought today and I am taking back tomorrow. App is useless I bought the 3-1 pro health. It says my house is a 1 which is impossible dust dog hair and dander everywhere. This was the stupidest thing I ever bought!!!

Give us some control. Not everything is a schedule. When I want to do a fast clean - I have to set a schedule and wait because it’s only in 15min increments. If I want to do a fast clean - let me press a button to say fast clean. When my child goes for a nap, let me say bed time or quiet time. Don’t make us schedule everything when we just want to do it now.

Pretty but slow and clunky. The app looks wonderful. Unfortunately that is overshadowed with how slow and clunky it is. The unit it’s great, but the app needs refinement.

Shameful App. I love the purifier because of the completely sealed HEPA filter which is incredibly hard to find. BUT to be very clear: The the app is pathetic - shameful. One star is generous for the actual app. No updates to improve the app in 5 months - at the time I am writing this review. For a company named iRobot - what am I missing? Where is the technology smarts behind the name??

Erna. The purifier seems to work well but the absolutely important app is terrible. Support is not built in and hard to get any support even through phone service. The app should have built in support. FRUSTRATING! I am still not connected To my aeris after 2 weeks of trying.

They sold out, to iRobot.. As a long time owner, I can tell you that the hardware (Aeris aair) unit I have is still operating flawlessly. The software (back then) did too. Annnnd then.... iRobot bought the company and apparently neglected to keep up with the software app. The app is just out write broken these days. The unit I have pre-dates the QR code system. So, I suppose iRobot is only willing to support the version that they'll profit from. They certainly are doing anything to improve the UX of the pre-existing customer base. If I ever had intentions of buying an iRobot product before, I don't now.

No SMS. Still not getting the SMS code to setup the account. Please fix it, I can’t create an account to use the app.

Terrible App. For as much money as you pay for these purifiers, you’d think they would have perfected the app. So you buy one for $500-1000 and the purifier is cumbersome to operate manually without the app, almost impossible to use the additional features. I own two! Don’t make the costly mistake I did. Don’t buy an aeris (iRobot) purifier.
