Good App. I only needed this app to protect notes I have... this app serves the purpose. I haven't had a need to make any additional in-app purchases... don't really see a need to. Works good for what I needed it for.

Great... until it randomly deletes everything. Title says it all. The app was great until one day I opened it and everything was deleted. No one has access to my phone except me, and I also had the notes backed up. Everything, notes and backups, all deleted, and zero response from customer service. Find a different app. It’s not worth the risk to lose everything.

Perfect. I like the app. Also it has a password from my sister getting into my notes. I tried other note apps and they didn't have a password.

Very Good App. This is a handy, very user-friendly app. I like the feature that it uses biometrics as well as aStandard password option.

Great App....But. I’ve been using the app for a year now. Worked perfectly! Never upgraded. Loved the automatic back up option. Now when I try to open the app it keeps foreclosing. The farthest I get is entering my passcode. I can’t even open to upgrade to pro. I have confidential info inside that I can no longer access.

4/5 stars. Just like the original notes app that comes with the iPhone- only you can choose if you want your notes locked or not. Premium is just a little extra and you get all of the amenities you'd have on the regular Notes App, so it's super easy to use. There's some ads and pop-ups, but for the most part my experience has been pleasant.

FAZ Review. Had it for only a few days, but so far so good. It allows me to have separate folders so I can keep My notes organized. The best part is that allows me to insert photos for reference.

Great app. Excellent, put all my notes I do not want others to see ... it works better than the other apps that lock notes. Has never “bugged” out on me very reliable!!

Best app for secure notes!. Have been through a few secure note apps but this one is the best! Fingerprint identification is quite handy! And it doesn't lock up or lose the notes!

DO NOT USE THIS APP. ALL NOTES VANISHED. 0 STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION... I don’t know what they did but all my notes are gone. The App quit working and there is a new version apparently but the notes didn’t load on there new version and the old version won’t even open. Support is non existent and will jot help. I had a lot of important notes and now they are gone and apparently the customer support can care less!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP UNLESS YOU DONT CARE ABOUT LOSING YOUR IMPORTANT NOTES!

deleted all my notes. should've read the reviews before i downloaded. this app was seemingly perfect to me. it has a nice looking icon, simple but charming design, you can adjust the font size and style, it's easier to make text bold, italic, underlined etc than in regular notes, it has a fully functional password system, it doesn't crash (at least it didn't for me). excited, i went and wrote an entire chapter of a story i've been working on. 3000 words+. spent about 2-3 hours. came back the next day, went into the folder, and as i clicked on the note, it glitched and disappeared. i'll probably never be able to replicate exactly what i wrote there and it's fine, i'll just rewrite it in a better app. it's just annoying that i went and wasted this much time for basically no result in the end. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP IF YOU WANT YOUR NOTES TO STAY. NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU BACK UP, THEY WILL DISAPPEAR. FIND SOMETHING BETTER. TRUST THE REVIEWS. I hope you're going to fix this someday because it was genuinely really pleasant to write in. I'll definitely redownload once i've made sure that you've fixed this issue.

LOST ALL VALUABLE, IRREPLACEABLE INFO. When I downloaded apple iOS 14.3 - it deleted ALL of the folders in my Lock Notes app. 😭 Because this app is only compatible with iOS 13 - I wasn’t aware that downloading iOS 14.3 would delete all of my folders that have valuable passwords and years of precious data and information I would do anything to get back. I have emailed the app support and NO ONE has responded back. I would be forever grateful if someone would help me. Please. God bless you.

This app is AMAZING. I started trying to just find Locked note apps, and I came across this app! I did not expect it to be SO GOOD! I recommend it for you because it’s free (I upgraded for 2.99) and secure! It also allows touchID! I really love the app! I think you will love the app too...

I lost EVERYTHING!. I updated to the latest version and it deleted the old app information and provided me with a bright and shiny app icon with new-ish features and COMPLETELY erased all of my saved data from the last 2 years. I have LOVED this app for quite a while but, did I mention.... that every last bit of my data has vanished? I attempted an iTunes backup with no results. Really-really disappointed here; with a tad bit of data induced heartbreak. Not sure what happened, was an awesome app until now, but have decided to go with another team. Stuff happens... but this is a total bummer.

Perfect. Easy to use, has touch ID, security questions, password, and lots of different things for notes.

YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR NOTES ONE DAY. This has happened to me TWICE over the last few years: you’ll be taking notes, laying for auto backup on the cloud, and then one day there will be an app update and you open the app again and all your notes—years of writing—are GONE! It’s a super tragedy each time. And there’s no one you can contact about it. You can write an email but I’ve never heard back from them. Only use this app if you’re fine having all your work wiped out one day.

Great app. I can keep everything I don’t want to be in my regular notes in here definitely worth upgrading to lock notes pro only for 2 dollars!

Lock Notes. I think this is a great app I like the graphics ( text pictures ) and displays. The Lock Notes app is also easy to use that’s why it stand out a lot in my opinion.

Temporary Assessment. Although I just got it, it seems that there are positives and negatives for this. On a positive, I’ve been looking for something like this, as my generic notes app has taken up over a GB of space, even if I offload it, delete notes, or try anything! I’m hoping that this will fix the problem and I can at least get some notes from being hard deleted! I’m sure I won’t be able to completely get everything off, but I’ll figure it out. The fact that I can export notes as images is something I wanted and have to experiment on. The negative thing is it doesn’t have titles, subheading, or heading capabilities that I can see. But that’s the only thing I have any issue with, so, it’s not that bad. Overall, this will save me a lot of headaches (hopefully), in the long run, but it could be improved.

Good app. I use a locking note app all the time. I switch to this app because my previous note locking app. Had not done an update in a couple of years. And I kept getting alerts that it would stop functioning. So I have been using this app for a couple of months now and here is what I can tell you. PRO's 1. I love the fingerprint reader option 2. Folders options 3. Fonts options. 4. Sort order of folder and notes. CON's 1. Ability to delay locking the app 1min, 3min, 5min. So when you are switching back n forth between apps it doesn't require unlocking every time you close it out. Just to get right back in to add content. 2. Having to pay a YEARLY subscription for auto backup of information to iCloud.

Great app for people with too many passwords. I use it to store a list of all of my passwords. It works great and using my Apple ID/Fingerprint to sign in makes it super quick.

Exactly what I needed. Pretty simple and straightforward app. Four stars because it doesn’t have all of the formatting options like the regular yellow notes app. I like the passcode and fingerprint options. I’ve only had it for a week, but no issues.

Basic App with Security Flaws. Generally, it does what it is supposed to do which is keep your notes private with the passcode entry. However, there are some flaws: if you backup your phone and transfer your data to a new phone, the passcode is lost during the transfer. It will no longer require a passcode on the new phone and you will need to set it up again. Just a thought if you don’t open it often and think your notes are still secure after getting a new phone or if you are dealing with a nosy person. Secondly, I believe this new update does not support the app so whenever I try to open my notes it quits immediately. I cannot access my notes. I’m not sure if this will fix itself with an app update or if they are lost forever. Lastly, the app offers very basic formatting changes. I see this as a con but others may not care.

Forgot Passcode. Hello I’m trying to reach the publisher of this app too see if there’s anyway I can reset my passcode so I can have access to my notes I had it connected to Face ID but due to water damage to my phone that no longer works and I can’t really access it. I’ll make sure to change review stars if y’all help me

Great App. I purchased this app a few days ago and it is simple to use, very organized, and offers an options to safe store my fine for safe keeping. I also like to choice to password protect my notes with a 4 digit pin, my fingerprint, or Both. I would have given it 5 stars if you had the option to bold, color text, or highlight areas in your notes. Overall great app.

App not working. I love this app! I have used it for a while now. But all the sudden it won’t open. I have information in this app I need and can not access it because the app won’t open. Please fix this!

Love/Hate. I’ve been using this app for the last 4 years to write down notes for stories and have never had a complaint...until now. Recently I got a new iPad and have to move my 600 notes to my new one. But the app wouldn’t recognize my earlier purchases so I had to buy it again just for it to crash when I try to sync my notes.

Continually Crashes & Erases Data!!. I love the lock feature on this app, I downloaded it because I was going to use it as a journal. However, I have quickly become disappointed with it. It CRASHES ALL THE TIME, and every time it does, it deletes EVERYTHING! Not just what I was writing, but ALL data on the app! There is a purchasable feature that automatically backs up your notes so you won’t ever lose them, but I’ve already paid $3.00 for this app, I’m not about to shell out more money just to cover myself because it functions poorly. PLEASE FIX!!

Basically they take your money and give you nothing in return.. The app itself seems great. Then it tells you that half the functions such as linking devices costs extra. I paid and now I can see updates made from my tablet on my phone but not the other way around. Trying to do anything from my iphone prompts me to pay again. It then tells you that auto back-up costs even more. Now this "free" app has cost me 13$ and doesn't function the way it's supposed to. To top it off their "send feed back" button just tells you that you don't have email. Basically they just take your money and give you nothing in return.

Don’t waste your money!. Don’t put anything important on here because you will lose it all. At first it was one folder, and I thought I made a mistake and deleted it by mistake. 30 folders later no problems. Everything’s going fine this morning, Open the app and I now have no folders!!!!

Love it. This is a great app! I have used it for over a year and I have not had one issue with it. The only thing I would like that it does. It have, is the ability to change the font size and color. I'm a color coding person. Other than that, I'm happy with it

Solid app, needs even more security features. Solid app, works just like Apple's native "Notes" app. The 4-digit PIN is a bit weak. The fingerprint access helps. I suggest options for string pass phrases and the ability to lock individual notes. Well worth a try. I want to be transmogrified into an elephant.

Best app for Notes. I was looking for app that could offer cloud backup and synch. This is the best so far. Not to mention the ability to create folders and manually sort the folders and notes. I’m giving it 4 stars just because the developer is charging extra $$ for the auto-backup feature.

Don’t Waste Your Money. Have used this in the past and then all of a sudden it crashes, causing you lose your information. Lack of back up support as well so you can’t re download the app and retrieve your notes. Happened twice before and now they change the app up a bit because the older versions kept failing. Use at your own risk.

Love it. I have some personal notes if ya know what I mean and I like how you provide a passcode and finger print. Now no one even if they get in my phone can see my notes. My notes are kinda like my diary. 👍👍

Only one note?. At first I thought this was the perfect app, I could write my little heart away without anyone reading it. I soon discovered that without paying, I could use only one note, one single note. Do not get this app people, unless you want only one private note! Not worth it in my opinion.

Lock my lock notes. I would like to lock my 'lock notes' like I used to but there is no way to find out how, app support advertise to download another app. If I have to pay the yearly fee that'll be ok but I can't find anywhere how to do this. I really like the simplicity of the app and have had it for years but one day it changed then I could not lock my notes anymore and some other features are gone. When I go onto google I only find notes belonging to the apple apps. Any help out there please.

Subscription renewal not wanted and no support. Having reset my phone settings, I tapped into this app and it automatically just charged my account with a subscription renewal, saying it was going to charge $18. I want someone from this company to contact me and fix this issue.

Brilliant for communicating with people. I use notes to communicate with people as I am deaf and use Australian sign language. I can make the notes big and i use it everyday.

Eh. My note app doesn’t work, so I downloaded this instead. I wrote a single note and it forced me to spend 5 bucks just to make multiple. This app is useless unless you spend actual money. I don’t recommended this app whatsoever.

The pro version. Honestly, I think other apps like pages are better because they have unlimited pages without having to upgrade to pro. Anyway, if you didn’t know, you can actually set a password on a specific document on the app pages anyway. I don’t recommend it, unless you upgrade to pro. The good features are in there, but if you want a free app for writing, don’t choose this one.

Hidden costs. You open the app and it asks you to pay $5 for pro which is fine but then after upgrading it tells you to upgrade again so your notes are backed up? Get rid of that second cost include it in the pro and you have a good app otherwise just a cheeky way to take extra money

Used to be good but now deletes all your work.. I used to love this app but it has now developed a bug that seems to be getting worse. I would write notes and it would just wipe all my work .....very very annoying.

Notes disappeared after years of use. I’ve been using this app for years but today I went to open it and all of my notes have disappeared! I would like someone to contact me about this issue, to rectify ASAP. I'm happy to change my 1 star rating if it turns out I've done something and it can be fixed

Disappointed. Terrible App Buggy and keeps crashing. It could be that I have photos related to my notes. I am no longer able to access anything and cannot backup even though I paid $13.99 for the auto back up. Pls provide refund or fixes for photo heavy notes.

Disappointed. I wasn’t expecting much considering it’s just a typical notepad. However, you have to pay for the lock-that was a letdown. You’re only limited to the number of notes you make and really, I would just use the one every iOS device comes with or find a better app which is SO easy because this app is literally garbage.

A Frustrating Ploy For People To Buy. It was rather infuriating to download with the need for multiple notes—I usually write on notepads, that’s why I wanted one with a lock—only to look around for roughly seven minutes because how do I add more notes??? Then I realized that it was a ploy to make you buy the other one for more notes and got really irritated. It’s really not worth getting it— near useless as you only get one note. I don’t recommend getting it.

Lost everything. Used for over 3 years with over 20 backups but when I restored my account everything was wiped out! Thankfully I emailed it all to myself as a backup, otherwise I would have lost hundreds of notes!

Problems typing. Problems clicking to move my cursor. Every time I want to type in a new spot I have to double click the screen. This is new since iOS 11

Junk. I bought the "Lock Notes" app. In the upper right "Done" is overlapped with the "+" on one page and "Edit" on another page and the forward (to email) symbol on another page. So when you try to press "Done" it does other things. I want my money back.

Not helpful. I have had several notes that I needed to keep because it was information I needed that I hadn’t memorized. I go to open the app tonight and ALL OF MY NOTES ARE GONE!!!

Great. Easy to use! Favorite locked notes I’ve used

Now terrible, used to be good. On new iPhones (I have iPhone X) this app barely works. Can barely open links — takes many tries. Impossible to select location within notes. Features have suddenly become awful.

Use to be good. I liked this app because it was simple and the passcode feature worked well. Now, they won’t let you add anymore notes unless you pay for a pro version. Time to find a new app

Absolutely aweful. I really payed for this piece of garbage. Freezes every 2.3 seconds and I have to wait over a minute before I can start typing again just for it to freeze after another 2.3 seconds. So bad

Lock Notes. WOW great app. easy to use, quick way to get info off desktop.

Flock Notes. It’s ok. Just have to be careful or I’ll erase something’s.

Protection of passwords and private notes. Really trust locked notes.

Does what it advertises. A good place to hide notes u don't want anyone to see 👍🏼

Idk. It’s super good but the fact that we have to pay for extra space is weird like make us pay for reasonable stuff...

Used to be good - stay away from now. Customer support is non-existent. Got the new iPhone and all my notes disappeared. They still exist on iPad but won’t sync over. Have the pro version but that too disappeared from iPhone. Only have it on iPad. Multiple emails to support and nothing. DO NOT get this app. I wish I never did.

Better than Notes. This is a great App. But u can lock notes on Notes on ur iPhone but it doesn't work👎. THE APPLE NOTES IS A RIP OFF😠! This APP is much easier if u don't want other people looking @ ur Notes👍.

Search?. I can’t search for anything, it doesn’t work and I click on support and I get some other app that they sell. Not good because that’s why I purchased the app… Developer please let me know…

I don’t wanna pay??. I used to use this app all the time years ago but I recently got it again and if you want to have more then 1 note, it costs a membership?? Not worth it anymore :/
