Southern lingo. One of the best apps for southern lingo and sayings

categories. They used to be all categorized and ordered alphabetically. Can you put them back into?

Perfect, except it must also be usable offline. I love this app. The only problem is that it won't allow me to access the meanings of most of the phrases and idioms offline. Upgrade the app for total offline use and I'll give it 5 stars.

Very useful App. I love it

Very useful for non-native English speakers. I have been using idioms and phrases website for a long time and now this app for sometime, precisely, this is a lifesaver app. For every idiom or phrase, it explains the meaning and gives you couple of examples to understand it better. This is the best proven way to learn idioms and phrases if you are a English learner! I will definitely recommend this app.

Pretty Good App. It has proven itself to be a pretty good app so far. The one thing I would suggest they add is the ability to clear previous searches so the search list does not get overly congested.

Great app. I volunteer with ELLs as a conversation partner and I think this app is an excellent tool to level up their English. As a friendly suggestion, maybe have translations of the definitions of the idioms in other languages. Other than that great resource for teaching and learning English.

Great Learning Modality!. This is a great app for curious logophiles with an English mother tongue, especially those who seek to defy our generation's norm of grammatical ignorance and whimsicality as it relates to whipping up new, far-fetched terms and phrases on a very regular basis...Yikes. The app is equally as recommended for those learning English as a second language. There are many idioms on the obscure end of the spectrum to be found in the bank, just as there are many necessary ones to be familiar with; they are all still interesting to peruse. I try to study and really make it a goal to learn one or two new idioms per day. By glancing at a certain idiom (or two) throughout the day, it is more likely to entrench itself in the long-term memory. Also, making it a more leisure, extracurricular activity makes the learning more effective and less likely to be procrastinated. Enjoy the app!

Good app but needs some work. What made me want to download this app is that is looked very entertaining and looked like it could help me a lot with idioms. What I liked about this app is that when I wanted to know slang, or he definition of a word it helped me a lot. What I disliked about this app is that when I got to look up a word it either glitches or it pulls up an ad. There was another app I downloaded but it definitely was not as good as this app.!.!.

It's useless, missing a key feature. You can't browse! You can only search for idioms that you already know. I wanted an app that allowed me to browse through idioms and phrases to learn NEW things, not just to type in phrases I already know about that I want to know the meaning of. I could just use Google for that. This app is useless really.

Does not save book marks. I had tons of Odom’s saved in my bookmarks only to have them disappear when I had to reset my iPhone and reinstall the app. Could you please let us save/back it up to iCloud or Dropbox??

Not good not bad. Ummm

Needs work. The app is useful in the sense that it provides the meaning of the phrases, idioms and proverbs. It’s however too basic. It could be interesting to provide info about the origins of the idioms when possible or any contextual or historical info to facilitate understanding. I don’t understand the purpose of the videos; they could be replaced with audio where one can actually hear and learn to enunciate. I am sure that would be useful to non native English speakers. Finally, it a run of the mill app; the user experience could be enhanced. For example once you click on a phrase in the favourites, you cannot go back to the favourites directly. You have to start over and click on the settings to find your way back to the favourites. It would also be interesting to sync favourites across devices.
