Not sure if this is a good app.. I will say, this app is very helpful for learning Japanese, and I like the way they teach you. But then as I was starting to really enjoy the app as a first time user, I couldn’t continue using it. I would have used this app more if it was completely free, but then I had finished the free levels and it started telling me that I couldn’t go on to the other levels unless I paid for them. Sadly I loved the learning method they used, but I refused to pay in a free app just to learn Japanese. They have now lost a customer.

WOW! Fastest improvement I’ve had.. I have tried other apps like Duolingo and some others but this one has been the most successful at keeping my improvement constant. I love the constants reviews they throw at you when learning every new lesson. I love how it makes sure you master everything until it proceeds you to the next lesson. 5/5 for sure.

Could Be Great. I started out really liking this app. Now I can’t get past the Kanji for ‘man’ no matter how many times I try. I can’t skip it either. I’ll check back later, but for now, with the writing part so buggy, I’ll try a different app. ** Edit - The recent update fixed the problem with the writing practice. This app effectively combines seeing, hearing, and writing to make learning more effective. I really appreciate the developer staying in tune with the reviews and resolving problems that come up. Highly recommend!

Good variety. The activities have good variety to keep my interest. The reviews are well paced except that with the writing part, tabimasu usually doesn't recognize my gestures even when I do it exactly like the sample. It will not let me move on because it keeps indicating that it is wrong and making me start over.

This is great wow!. I watch a decent amount of anime and was wanting to learn Japanese recently, so downloaded all the free apps. Out of the four only 2 were worth while, and out of the 2 only one was worth paying for. And this one is definitely worth it. With simple reminders and review, this repetition focused app really drills japanese naturally. I'm learnjng at a fast rate and surprising all my friends. Anyways I love it and thought I should write a review when the little "like our app" button came up.

Better than Rosetta Stone. This app is similar to Rosetta Stone’s approach to teaching, but better in that it gives help via translations at the beginning and then weans you off by the end of each lesson. This app is great for learners of all ages, but what I appreciate is that even kids as young as 5 or 6 can use this and learn! That is not the case with Rosetta Stone. I am very happy with my purchase!

Great! Just one thing. I love this app and it helped me so much while learning Japanese. They only issue I had was with the pictures. They can be helpful, but they also provide an answer key to some questions. Instead of learning from the questions I can just look at the images and get the answer.

Great app overall, crashes occasionally. Overall I have really enjoyed my time with this app thus far - I’m retaining information better than I was with Duolingo. The review features and learning patterns work well for me. The writing portion is okay, but as others have said it can be a little frustrating. Writing the kana still helps me retain them better, but this feature needs a bit of work. The app does crash on occasion - not nearly enough to be a big issue, but it’s a minor annoyance. 4 stars for now, 5 if these issues are fixed down the road!

Great Idea but.... This was a great app when I first got, but it only has four lessons on each level, so it has eight lessons in total without having to buy anything. If you want to continue further, you have to pay. It was actually teaching me stuff at food first, but not anymore. Also the Lesson 1 - Writing on Level 2 doesn’t even work. I draw the Kanji perfectly up to the third stroke, then the app just erases all of it, and won’t let me get past. So basically this app will get you 7 lessons of Japanese until everything is money.

Writing is still glitchy!. I loooove this app! I’m a terrible student, but this app makes learning Japanese fun. It reviews previous content often and integrates new material. The app doesn’t rush through lessons, which I appreciate. The only frustrating aspect of this app is the writing glitch. When trying to learn write kanji, the program has difficulty recognizing correctly inputted strokes. It is maddening to deal with. This app is worth using, especially if you’re in Japan.

Love it!. What happened?? I paid for the full version and now I have to pay again? What happened with my purchase?? Help, please! ***update: Just clicked on “Restore Purchase” and it worked great! Thank you very much! Excellent app!

Love it. Very effective and fun.. Love this app. It does have a few glitches still as noted by other reviewers (occasional crashes and gets very picky on some kanji) but it’s really well made. Loved the sequence: how it quickly built up my knowledge. I decided to learn kana and kanji and I feel I made huge strides in a very small amount of time. Would love some higher levels as I have just finished Level 2 but still have so much to learn. Highly recommend it. It’s a very effective and fun way to learn Japanese.

Has made us want to learn Japanese. I am using this with my daughter who wanted to learn French and Japanese. After trying the developer's other free trial app teaching Japanese character reading and writing, I saw this one that teaches words as well and let's just say that I decided to buy the full version and my daughter enjoys it so much that she decided to learn Japanese. I like that it incorporates reading, writing, and picture flash cards all together in bite sized lessons. And gives you reminders when it is time to review certain flashcards. And it actually works. We can now pick out characters when we are reading Japanese subtitles which makes you look forward to the next lesson.

I swear by this app. I never do reviews for apps. However, for this one, I will make an acception. I recently got into the Middlebury Language program for Japanese and needed some pre-knowledge. I have learned ALL my hiragana and katakana and even most of my kanji through this app. I have tried (I kid you not) every other app available for Japanese learning and this one is undeniably the best.

Best App For Beginners. Please make more levels! This is the most effective and efficient app I’ve used to learn beginner Japanese. All the other ones start too advanced and don’t explain grammar rules as extensively as this app. I’ve purchased a total of 5 different apps/softwares and this one is by far the best at explaining everything when you are ready to learn it. Memrise & Busuu jump way too far ahead without explaining anything—and on top of that they’re $40/70 per year! Whereas this one is a flat rate of $8 or $9. Well worth every cent I paid. Thank you guys so much! :) Looking forward to new levels to purchase.

i loveD it (BEWARE). it was great. it went downhill when i purchased all levels. after i tried to pay, the levels didn’t load. i reloaded the app, restarted my phone and nothing. sent an email (no response) and then immediately, the levels loaded. i never got charged for the purchase but after it loaded, my phone crashed. i have since reset my entire phone and did a full restore from no backup on itunes and still have a barely functioning iphone8+. my phone constantly crashes, there is no sound or vibration, any video play or app with a camera crashes my phone. it all started after i “purchased” the levels on this app. *update* the $5.99 payment did go through however, i’ve already uninstalled the app with no intention of reinstalling...

Great app but... I honestly really enjoy the app! It's a great tool and I'm learning way faster than I thought I would! Japanese is a pretty complex language and the visual cues help a lot. The only downside I'm finding in the app is when you are learning to write some of the more complex letters. The sensitivity is off and no matter how careful I am when writing them, it always resets as though I've made a mistake, and I know how to draw a square so I'm pretty sure it's not me.

Better than the rest. OK I’m new to this app so I don’t know about all the issues that might come along later but I’ve been using it for about three weeks and so far so good I have no complaints.

Hey, don’t get duolingo get this!!. There are practically no ads No times where it says you can come back later to learn more And best of all, it teaches you well. Would highly recommend this app!

Great approach to learning Japanese!. I like how this app combines learning vocabulary, hiragana, and kanji all at once rather than sequentially or separately. The sequencing of the tasks is really working for me to learn the material presented. The only part missing is learning to write kana and kanji yourself but I’ll have to use other apps for that. Overall, great app!

Great!. I really love this app! I feel like I’m learning much faster, as well as retaining information better than other Japanese learning apps. The only thing I would really love to see this app change is to add the ability review learned information at will.

Would chose this over Duolingo, but. So this was like the BIGGEST disappointment for me, because I thought ‘wow! I have finally found an app that not only teaches how to write and read, but also to speak Japanese!’ But after the first three lessens I said that you had to pay. I know this isn’t such a big deal but still, I am really disappointed. Update: I bought it this app is amazing! And I wouldn’t chose duo over this anyway because the first three free lessons taught me more than six lessons on Duolingo.ありがとう! (It means thank you I think)

Learning my 3rd Language. I am a language teacher (ESL) and so when I decided I wanted to learn Japanese! As my 3rd language I decided I would like to have an app so I can practice whenever I happen to have a free moment. I downloaded about 6 or so apps and THIS app was the only one I kept because it teaches you the language through all 4 domains of language acquisition! (Listening, reading, writing, and speaking of you repeat what you hear and read out loud). It’s great! I happily paid the $6 to get the full version the first day I downloaded it!

Awesome App to learn Japanese!. I absolutely love this app. I originally got this because I saw this was by the same developer as “Learn Japanese!!” and “Learn Japanese! - Kanji”. Both of those apps I bought and loved how easy it was to learn from so I decided to try this and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. It has such an easy way to teach you Japanese quickly. The only thing I wish this app had was a review button like the other two have. I know it does review it but I prefer the way the other two apps do it. Also I would like if they add more lessons to this app since the interface is so easy to use and learn from even if I had to pay a little bit extra for them.

One of the best. I’ve tried several different learning apps I like how this one started with making sentences, letting me practice with particles right away, and even explaining their positioning! Many other make you practice sentences but start with big sentences instead of simple ones like we learn as children! A much simpler and accurate way of learning 5 stars to the developers and linguists behind this app! Sugoi and arigatou!

I love it!!. This app is so amazing and easy to learn with! I’ve learned the basics of the language in just a few short days! This app allows you to learn at your own pace while doing so very effectively. To unlock all the lessons you do have to pay, but it is so worth it!! For all of the lessons it’s only $5.99!!

Best I have found. I like this one better than duolingo because you can learn to write with this app. Also duolingo has bugs and the new subscription model will end up costing much more than this app in the long run.

So good! Just one little problem.... This app is really good! Just, some things like the kanji are things that need to be explained to us. I didn’t know what the kanji was, until I eventually figured out on my own. Please, please, explain things more. You need to EXPLAIN things.

Very helpful for learning Japanese.. I have used several apps to work on learning Japanese, and I have been impressed with Learn Japanese!! in several ways. The way this app teaches hirigana writing is well thought-out. The sequencing is a nice, building progression and the drawing recognition is impressive. The app uses little quizzes to review past lessons which I found very helpful. A typical vocabulary lesson introduces four words and may include one new grammar rule. It has you build sentences, which are useful for remembering the vocabulary. The improvements I would make to have a 5-Star rating would be adding a reference card for vocabulary and kana. And the feedback form (nicely incorporated in the settings) doesn’t work on an iPhone. (The send button is covered by the keyboard).

Great App! Just a small bug. I’ve been using this app for a while to learn the basics, and it has helped me A LOT! Well worth the 6$. There is only one problem I see though. Every time I try to go to Level 2 Lesson 14: Kanji, it crashes. I understand this is a small bug, but I hope you all can fix it fast so that I can keep using your app for practice and review.

Great for learning Japanese!. I got this because I wanted to learn Japanese out of fascination and it’s very helpful but here’s the problem, I can’t buy the purchase all lessons thing because it’s too expensive can you please make it free?

LOVE. THIS. APP!. Update - love that this app now also includes kanji characters! For casual learners - you can choose to avoid the kanji and just learn to speak and not read. Great additional feature! I've completed 4 lessons so far, and I'm thrilled by what I am learning and retaining. I love that it uses pictures and sound to appeal to different learning styles. And it seems to have a smart review system that adjusts based on how you are doing. Definitely worth the purchase, and it's an AMAZING value y to something like Rosetta Stone. Excited to keep using this app!!

Almost perfect. I’ve done this one, Japanese!, Duolingo, and Memrise. From those four this could be the best if there were a possibility to skip the writing of a kanji. I love being taught how to write a character, but sometimes it drives me crazy. I am doing the right strokes but I can’t move forward. I know that touch screen sensitivity may play a role in it. Please add the option out button. I’ve been stuck with an unresponsive screen a couple of times. Otherwise this would be a five star learning experience.

Japanese pronunciation very wrong with foreign intonations. I was excited to try this app, but I can not recommend this to anybody... I am a native Japanese speaker. Even from the first several words “otoko” for man and “onna” for woman, the intonation is wrong.... Japanese language has intonations up and down and it is VERY important . In writing, two words can look the same but depending on the intonation, the meaning with change. One of the very common examples are “Ame” (‘A’ with higher tone, ‘me’ with lower tone) which means “rain”, and aME (‘a’ with lower tone and ‘ME’ with higher tone) which means candy. So I hope you get my point and why my review is one star.

Good and serviceable. At US$5.99, I feel that the premium is well worth it. There are barely enough kanji (though I would REALLY like to see more added) to satiate a beginner, and I appreciate that there are some verbs in the app. Even some of the larger and more popular apps lack the kanji that this one has, and this app teaches stroke order. That is INVALUABLE when using a kanji dictionary, so props to this app. Again, I would really like to see an update with more kanji, but other than that, don’t change the app!!!

Decent learning tool. It’s definitely helping me learn Japanese, though some of the bugs others mentioned remain... I noticed that the longer I am on it, the more likely it will act as if I’m tracing the kanji wrong and reset constantly, even when I’m only on the first stroke. Once in a while it will freeze and bug out entirely, usually ending in a crash of the app itself. A reboot (of the app) fixes it, though, so it’s not a huge problem, just a bit frustrating. I do like the way it provides reviews as you progress, but one thing I thought would be nice would be a review option of the grammar in particular, not just the kanji/words, but also the explanations and uses—the same info it provides when first introduced, just easily accessible.

It really good. I got this app yesterday and it is pretty good I am still learning but I’m learning a lot right now I saw that when I was going to look at other lessons it says you have to pay but for now the lessons that I’m learning are pretty good and I’m learning a lot of things I recommend this app for the people that want to learn Japanese and I am learning Japanese so I really recommend it to you people and my parents are really proud of me I am glad I got this app

Can't access this app. I bought this app ,deleted it accidentally, tried to reinstall it and it won’t let me pass after the second lessons. I really like this app and wish I could access the entire lesson. I don't know what else to do to gsin access again. it’s telling me it’s not connected to iTunes. What! Help!

Great help for Japanese learners!. Update: I had given this app 1 star due to my comments below. The App developer has mainly fixed the issues and I am back to loving the app again! Thanks for fixing the writing bug! I use this app all the time. Still a few bugs left like crashing, but that is pretty infrequent. I gave 4 stars. Really wanted to give 4.5. I used to absolutely love this application but have soured on it as I get deeper into the learning. Why did I sour? If you read the other critical reviews they mostly center on one thing. The poor interface for writing Kana. Specifically writing Kanji. I asked a Japanese friend to write the Kanji and she failed every time just like me. Not sure what the problem is but I did email the developer to please fix it. The rest of the application is pretty good though. I am learning a lot of Kana and vocabulary. I especially like the grammar hints. I would probably give this a 4-5 star rating but the writing glitch is very frustrating so I am only giving 3. I am editing my review several months after I originally wrote it. The writing aspect of the program is still EXTREMELY glitchy and frustrating. The developer has not bothered to update the app since I bought it to fix the writing. Also when you click on App Support it does not work. I am downgrading my stars to 1. Please fix the writing!!

Amazing. Seriously love this app. I've tried a few, even Duolingo, and this I the best. I actually learn from this app and can go back and read the sentences from Duolingo that I didn't get before (since they just through them on you). Definitely recommend.

Thaïs 5stars for the first version. The 1st version had no romanji ; Only English Kana & Kanji . No way am I going to update it This new is very good but in options section it would be nice to make the romanji go away: by pressing l select Older version have you reading japanese from the very beginning

Awesome. Definitely the best app I’ve used so far to learn Japanese. You don’t feel rushed and it won’t make you feel bad for getting the answers wrong like the other apps with point systems and sections for words you get frequently wrong

I don’t like it. Turn off this app because it gives you the first lesson for free but then once you want to go onto the second one or the third one or basically any other lesson it tells you that you have to pay I would pay for this it’s a good game honestly but I wish I was aware at first before getting the game that you had to pay because I sort of got attached to it don’t get me wrong it’s a really good app but I just don’t like how you have to pay for it because A lot of people put a lot a of their time into this app so they can learn whatever language for example me learning Japanese I don’t like how you sort of ruin peoples commitment I wish that they fix this in the future and that no one else goes through what I went through

Love this app!. I’m a bit of a language nerd and have always wanted to learn Japanese. The problem I’ve encountered with a lot of other programs is they focus solely on basic spoken vocabulary, or only show pictures of the hirigana/kanji so you can’t learn how to write the characters or understand sentence structure. This app does an amazing job at building your understanding of hirigana, kana and kanji by making you actually write the correct strokes, while also teaching basic vocabulary and sentence structure. Highly recommend for anyone who needs to learn a new language by doing, and not just selecting pictures!

It’s 2:30 in the morning lol. This is my first time even putting effort into learning any language other than English, honestly I love this app. I wasted a lot of my money but it was worth it lol. I just got this app like an hour ago and I can almost say a few full sentences with out looking at my notes sheet. For the people who are reading this who want to get this app, it’s worth it, but I highly suggest you write lots of notes because the lessons go by fast!

Make the button bigger. I bought all the lessons and enjoyed the app but wanted to restart without the constant refresh reminder; so I deleted the app expecting it to just reset. Now it’s asking to pay again... turns out the button is just hidden under all the pay requests.

Great for novice beginners. I am terrible at learning languages but this app makes it easy. I started with duo lingo which was good up to a point. This app explains the grammar behind what you are doing and presents it in a way that is organized so you don't get things mixed up later on. The pacing is excellent. The app does sometimes close out on itself which can be slightly annoying but it's still worth it.

I am choosing this over Duolingo (updated version).. This is a great tool for learning. You can go at your own pace (no matter how fast or slow it is) and even if you go a little too far out, the app has milestone reviews that let you practice the things you didn’t do so well at in the last review. It builds on itself and I like how you get an in depth look at the alphabets (duolingo was always useless with Kanji) by allowing practice writing them. This app also explains the grammar in little card blurbs, and it would be perfect if there was a list or something compiled of the different lessons, for a review. All in all, 10/10. Never change <3

Great, but there’s a glitch on my end.. I thoroughly enjoy this app, and it’s really helped me through its free courses. The only thing is that the application is not allowing me to buy “Level One”. I click the button, but there is no response. I have the money for it, but it simply doesn’t work. That would be my only complaint. Otherwise, this platform is great.

Top pick. I downloaded a number of Japanese apps before our trip to Tokyo. This is definitely one of the best. The app is split into two levels (hopefully with more to come?) and each level is split into bite-sized chunks of information, including the hiragana/katakana alphabet, vocabulary, reading, writing and grammar. Even my kids could use this one. After coming back from Japan, I deleted and reloaded the app as a refresher/review, and found that new information had been added (that, or I just completely forgot some sections). Anyway, this is a quality app that is worth buying. I wish there were more levels.

Not so good. Hi I wanted to learn Japanese so I could know the basics before my Japanese class. It teaches me a lot but I have a big problem. When I went to lesson 2 it said I had to pay for it.. I was really angry. Please make all lessons free. -Scarlett

Pretty good. Nice clean interface Very simplistic I like it. No recent updates however, probably wont see any new content :/

Great & good value. I really like the simple progression and spaced repetition. The writing practice is great to as I really need that. As for some people complaining about price???? $10 Australian is pretty good value for the amount you will learn & it’s about the same price as 2 cups of coffee or 1 burger. I also like that there is no stupid speed limits like some other apps where you can’t progress unless you do it fast enough (I have a movement disorder which means other apps I wasted money on as they required time limits for tests so I can’t progress) but this app is at my own pace. Some things I would like to see improved for 5 stars - 1) both brush and pen font practice. At the moment it’s only brush style font which is different to how most people write with a pen & a lot of modern signage. 2) it’s using the low quality robotic sounding Japanese voice, please find someway to activate the higher quality Siri voice for those that have already downloaded it. 3) looks like the app hasn’t been updated in a very very long time. But would be great if we could buy more levels.

Good until I had to pay. I understand you need money, but it really frustrating trying to find an easy source to learn Japanese for free

Thanks!. Great app! I have also the app for kana and kanji and they are well design. You should add in the Kana app the custom review like in the kanji app, it’s nice to choose what we want to practice. In this app you put a little review of the last chapter inside the current chapter i find it great, you should put it in the kana and kanji app too. The downside of this app is that you have to be really precise when you draw the kanji/ kana, it’s sometime frustrating because the finger is not precise like a pen. The 2 others app are more permissive . Thanks great work!

Very accessible bite-sized lessons!. Learning Japanese is hard for me to make time for, so this app is great since I can do a short lesson or two in between work or anything else, and then later if I open the app again it asks me if I would like to review anything I had trouble with, and I can practice until I get it right! Buying the lessons one pack at a time or even both packs level 1 and 2 are for really good prices and I think it’s totally worth it!

Good. It’s a good application but why not free for all levels?

Nice. No mistakes in the writing and I love it

Great way to learn!. This app teaches Japanese in the way I wanted to learn for my needs. So I really like it and it teaches you in a way that’s easy to learn and remember!

Oof. I love the app bc I’m learning Japanese really quick it’s better than Duolingo that’s all Sincerely Italy leonard

Great!. I really love this app mainly because it is actually free and not blocked behind an unavoidable paywall like other apps. I definitely recommend to other people! Thanks for reading my review!

This app has worked for me.. I only speak English. Learning Japanese has always been a dream of mine. Apps likes this one work very well for me. Thank you 🙏

Really Good!!. I paid 5.99 for all lessons and I am already very good with Japanese!! It tells you how to read, write, and talk!! Pronunciation and all!!

Good sequence of lessons. The App makes sure you learn and review what you just learned simultaneously. Good layout of lessons.

Everything I wanted!. This is a wonderful app! It teaches grammar, vocabulary, kanji, kana, and writing all together unlike other apps that only focus on certain parts. Plus, it is priced very reasonably!

Best introduction to Japanese. The best integrated introduction of Japanese, incorporating reading, writing, and speaking. Great practice and repetition, as well as gradual transitions to kanji for beginners. Please add a listening aspect, and option to hit customized summarize reviews. I’m waiting for next levels. Please add more levels! Bb

Great App. I have trouble learning Japanese from most apps but this was definitely helpful and I highly suggest the $6 purchase.

So far-. So far, so good. I’ll update as I continue to use the app as presently I’ve only finished 3 modules... so maybe not the best time to ask for a recommendation.

purchased the full version. It was amazing in 30 minutes I learned common verbs and grammar thank you I purchased the full version

So good! Just one little problem.... This app is really good! Just, some things like the kanji are things that need to be explained to us. I didn’t know what the kanji was, until I eventually figured out on my own. Please, please, explain things more. You need to EXPLAIN things.

Ok. Yes you do have to pay for the lessons but it's great if you're trying to learn the characters with the writing and reading settings.

Great app for begginers, buggy and crashes a lot.. Title basically. If you could fix the crash issues thie would be an easy 5 star!

Payments I didn’t know about. This app was helping me a lot until I got to lesson 2. You have to pay for The rest of the lessons including lesson 2.

Awesome. Great addition I have the other two apps as well. These are the best stepping stones to start learning Japanese.

Great app for beginners. I love how this app has everything from hiragana to sentence structure.

Actually kind of fun. The title ^ Worth a couple bucks. ALWAYS DO THE REVIEWS! I notice a pattern in the order they teach: 1. Vocabs, 2. Phonics, 3. Review Love how they always introduce 2 concepts at a time and questions you right away so you don’t forget! My only complaint for the devs: It’s a shame this app doesn’t show up in the appstore when “japanese” is searched, you gotta search “learn japanese”

Great app. I like this app. It’s best to learn with a child also, simple to use and the sounds add to the learning

No support; wants to double charge. Paid for both levels in January. After starting level 2, I was asked to pay again for anything beyond lesson 2. Tried to contact developer but their site is dead. Apple support is of course non-existent. Liked the app despite a few errors at the end of level 1. But not enough to buy it twice.

Great. I love this app the only thing I would change is to be able to choose when to learn kanji

Not to bad. There’s only four lessons if you don’t wanna pay some money. I would love if the creator made a lot more free lessons and more levels.

I really like this. I thought that this app was going to be bad like all the other I got but I actually learned the things I needed and my brother which is fluent in Japanese recommends this app to his students.

Decent app - needs a constant test mode!. I learned a lot of basics but I mostly enjoyed the testing. But I wish there was just a constant test mode! Instead you have to wait and everyday the random test would slowly build up. Can the developers add this? Level 3 would be great too!!

Awesome app!!!. This app is amazing for learning Japanese! I struggled with Duolingo because they jump to difficult sentences really fast. It’s great how this app follows a very intuitive sequence for learning Japanese and gradually introduces kanji characters.

Well-designed. One of the better apps out there. Definitely give it a shot!

Awesome. I’ve been learning for the past 2 weeks. I’ve learned so much! Still ways to go! Lessons were very affordable. I love it! Simple and easy to understand.

Best Japanese learning app I’ve seen. This is by far the best app out there to learn the basics of Japanese. I’ve tried Duo Lingo, NHK, and Rosetta Stone and this is miles better than them all.

Good app but one thing. Amazing app I have learned so much and I’m not even half way into the lessons. But there is one thing, most of the lessons are not free but again I have learned a lot.

Very easy to use. I'm an idiot so I need to take things slowly when learning. This app is a huge help.

INCREDIBLE!!!. If you don’t mind spending money on an incredible app that teaches you Japanese than this is the app for you!!! 10/10 love this app!!!!! 😝

Good app to learn Japanese!. For a long time, I’ve been using Duolingo to learn but I just got started on the first lesson of this app and I think it will be decent!

Never Unlocked. I purchased Levels 1 & 2, but the sessions never unlocked. Also, sent an email about this issue & never got a reply of any kind.

Fun and brain stimulating. I decided to keep my brain active. And I can’t do sodoku. Since I love languages and I love to draw, I thought this the perfect fit. It is.

Good but.... This app is good and I know I shouldn’t be complaining about this but i hate how I have to pay to learn the rest like, I don’t have any money

Great!. My only complaint is the writing portion. It’s wayyyyyyy off but you can choose to if you want to learn how to write or not. But other than that it’s great

Great app to learn Japanese. This is very useful definitely worth the money

Super fun!. I've been in this loop of learning a couple beginner vocab words, some hiragana, then getting bored of apps. But with this app the focus is actually learning sentence structure, as well as vocab and kanji. I feel like I'm learning so much more.

Comparable to Rosetta Stone. Learned more with this app then Rosetta Stone at a fraction of the cost! Learned more on this app in a week then I did 3 months in the classroom. I Highly recommend!

Great app!. It’s great for Japanese learners. It helps you learn until you get it right. It’s awesome. Definitely worth the money

Good app, fix the writing element. I like the app. Good pace and effective. Only beef, the writing portion just starts to go off the rails. Previous characters all of sudden become unwriteable and the app just keeps circling back on the same character. You have to quit or never do the review. Please fix.

Great learning tool. However, it crashes after using it for a few minutes. It does not recognize the writing. Please fix

Great for a refresher!!. I took Japanese in college years ago before a trip to Japan. Heading over there again so I wanted to brush up on my skills. This app is great for that!! I wish there were more levels. Just 2 is a little less than I expected

Good. I like this app a lot it teaches a lot on level 1 everything was great until I have to PAY to learn the rest, I mean, it’s fine you need money, I get it. But AT LEAST level 2 and 3.

Great app to start learning Japanese.. This app makes it easy to start learning at whatever pace you want to learn.

Good app. Enjoying it so far. I’ve bought several Japanese learning apps now and each is good in their own eay👍👍

Love it!. What happened?? I paid for the full version and now I have to pay again? What happened with my purchase?? Help, please! ***update: Just clicked on “Restore Purchase” and it worked great! Thank you very much! Excellent app!

Best Japanese App Thus Far!. I love this app. It is easy to pick up whenever and wherever, because it will give you a review quiz each time. What sets this app apart from other Japanese learning apps? There are not only writing and speaking capabilities on this app, but also a sentence structure building block game.

Family sharing?. How do you enable family sharing. I can't even use the paid part of this app on another of my own devices.

Love it but. Love this app but at times I have to rewrite a kanji 15times in order for it to go through and just times I just give up and rage quit the app all together. Idk if it can be fixed but it’s a huge pain
