Helps me in many ways!. I have aphasia. This is the best App I have found. Reasonable priced too. So many options! Many ways to practice. In the advanced mode, I can pick the exercises that are most important for me.

King of the mountain. Ok, catch’s and practices lots of things

Wonderful App. As a recent stroke victim, I had trouble speaking and trouble typing as well as short term memory problems. Constant Therapy has been a blessing. In the past 5 weeks it has brought me back to almost normal functioning. I can speak clearly. This is better than an in-person therapist. Just a short email or phone call and your tasks are customized to narrow in on the problem areas. I cannot sing the praises of ConstantTherapy enough. I have recommended it to all my doctors and therapists. It has brought me back from the brink of despair to a fully functional person. Thank you Constant Therapy for a truly revolutionary product!

Game change. So helpful for my aunt, an incredible tool for her as she recovered from her stroke and she noted significantly improved attention and cognitive skills after using!

YES. My cognitive therapist HIGHLY recommended Constant Therapy 5 months ago. My problem is a severe inattention span. I am diagnosed with NVLD. I often forget what I’m saying mid-sentence. I thought it was my memory, my test results say my memory is fine. (I’m 67 years old). He said he had been/is using this successfully with some of his patients. I was at first skeptical of the value of what seemed like costly ”games” in an iPhone app. Of course, at the beginning, I wasn't getting a lot of exercises ”right” (or it was taking me a LONG TIME to perform them). This was proof that I was in decline. Right? I was disappointed in myself. I started out very discouraged & downtrodden. However, it encouraged me when my therapist explained that it’s not just about whether I get the answers or responses right or wrong, or quickly or slowly, but it’s more of the process of actually just doing it & not judging myself so harshly. Not the answers or ”successes”, but the process of doing consistently. When that sunk in, I realized that as with any exercise plan at the gym (you know the one you’ve been paying $30 a month for 20 years, but only go 5 times a year?), you’re probably not going to to see visible results for weeks, maybe even months - like everybody else. This explains why people start doing treadmill 4 times a week, but then abruptly STOP 10 days into it when they don’t see any instant changes. But if you stick with it, 2 or 3 months later, you notice that your waist is 1 inch smaller, you have a (more) visible bicep muscle that you hadn’t seen before, you feel better, you sleep better, and you’ve lost 7 pounds to boot. (This too has happened to me. I lost 30 lbs, as well as my Diabetes diagnosis.) This has been my personal experience with Constant Therapy. At a gym, you see your results in the mirror. But with this, you see your progress in the numbers, the reports, & the progress graphs. There it is. My therapist wanted me to do it 4 times a week. I have been putting it in my calendar ALMOST every day, and every time I see my therapist, we talk about it & review my numbers together. In 5 months, I have gone from scores like 30 & 40% up to 75 & 80% in a lot of them! Cross my heart. For one, I could never remember a full 10-digit phone number after I heard it. I felt stupid. It was a huge problem. Now it reports a score of about 80% on this particular one. Seriously. It actually works? I saw it on the screen with my own 2 eyes. This gives me confidence in my abilities & motivation to keep at it. I FEEL SMARTER AGAIN. Not only did the numbers show improvements, but I AM also NOW GETTING A LOT OF THE MATERIALS ”RIGHT” FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME! I more often remember phone numbers & lists. For me, this has made a big difference in my life (a simple app can do this?) Of course it goes without saying, as with any process recommendation, ”your mileage may vary.” But I’m not exaggerating when I say that I am personally thrilled. If you have one, also discuss this with your therapist. If you don’t have one, ask your insurance company to approve one or more consultation visits to see a cognitive therapist (or other professionals) to check in with them about trying this. Persistence with any new therapy is key. Process, not just the answers. But don’t necessarily expect ”cure.” Expect measurably better. And as Martha Stewart is known to say, ”and that’s a good thing.” This is a good thing. 😉

Worth the money!!. This app is phenomenal. My brother has pretty severe aphasia as a result of a TBI and has made tremendous progress with Constant Therapy. He normally gets really frustrated and demoralized doing any sort of therapy, but because this app tailors the therapy to your needs, he actually looks forward to doing his exercises every day. Worth every penny, and though the cost might seem high, compare it to what you'd be paying for an in-person therapy session and you'll see that it's actually a steal for what you're getting. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Five stars!

Versatile and relevant!. As an OT, I have been using and recommending this program for many years in a variety of settings. It’s versatile and meets the needs of clients across the spectrum. Very intuitive dashboard for clinicians too. Helps me write my progress notes with detailed data!

Not for everyone. Thank god there is a free trial. After the training and just partway into the first segment I realized if I ever started another session on this app I would be throwing my phone across the room in frustration. Hopefully it can help somebody. (before a recent stroke my IQ was 170. After the stroke the IQ is the same. I’m just having trouble articulating certain words I’m looking for in a timely fashion. Unfortunately while this mental delay is obviously to me, no one else seems to notice it. Still looking for an app that will assist with this apparently obscure issue)

Good for results. It’s a good program to work and give results to a speech therapist, because I can do it when I’m not in session with them. The drawback is that there’s a lack of a variety of tests. I do many of the tests over again.

Love it!!!. This program has made a huge difference in my mind recovery from a stroke. It’s amazing!!!

My Deep Thanks. I had an occipital stroke three years ago and since I have relied on Constant Therapy for my daily attempts at recovery. I only have praise and gratitude for their constant support and friendship and thank them from my heart: May God bless them. I find myself writing another testimonial to recognize the gigantic help it provides to stroke victims, The multiple exercises and the informative reports contribute to create an extremely friendly approach that makes me look forward to the tasks. may God Bless the CT team.I want to again convey my gratitude to the Constant Therapy team for creating and running an excellent program for those like myself, stroke victims. May God Bless you all. this is a remarkable web site, challenging and maintained and actualizado 3veryvday, I have become addicted to it and have nothing but gratitude to all of those who comprise 4he marvelous CT Team. may Gid Bless the Team.

Not sure what else. You can throw out those dusty workbooks from 1972 and just use this. Perfect.

Highly recommend. My dad uses Constant Therapy almost every day for mild cognitive impairment (MCI). It works wonders!

Best stroke therapy ever. This programs is the best. I had a stroke at 42. I will be back to work in no time with this. The speech therapy couldn’t even keep up with all the great programs. This is a major blessing.

Perfect for your loved ones. This app is great!! My grandmother is able to understand things faster and is more confident in her abilities— I can’t recommend Constant Therapy enough!

A Recent (Young) Stroke Survivor. I am going to rate this in a few months as well to provide follow-up... The app is good and truly helpful at fundamental levels. The key word being fundamental. What about those who are high functioning stroke victims? It is difficult to see some of the tasks as worthwhile. In picture ordering, for example, it won’t accept ‘hairbrush’ and lists it as ‘brush.’ I assume it would similarly list dresser as such, forgoing use of the word bureau. I come from New England where we have hairbrushes because there is more than one kind of brush! And then the app shows up as too basic or to technical - depending on your settings. If you think the app will remember your settings, you are in for a surprise. (Spoiler Alert: It won’t.) That said, there are some useful tasks. You just have to be the one to find them - in the settings, go to ‘advanced’ and you can choose your level of difficulty and the number of trials. You can also nix items from your homework if they are too easy. Customer service is great. They really take the time to answer your questions.

Had to cancel. I downloaded and set up an account but couldn’t tell if by accepting the T&C I was signing up or if there was a trial period or free trial excercise. The link in the T&L to the pricing didn’t work, so I had to just logout and delete the game.

Good app but it has a long way to go. I have used (and paid for) this app for over 6 months now. I have done over 1,000 tasks. The speech recognition software is about 90% accurate. It is limited in the amount of material that they use. I find myself doing the same exercises ever and over again. For the amount that I am paying, I think that they should have more examples.

Extremely well designed. This app is very well designed and very easy to use and get started with. I find the exercises very engaging and motivating!

Schneider. This are great exercises, but when you crowd the screen with lots on info it becomes illegible. Especially not cool w symbol matching. 😤

Speech Rehab Tool. My mother suffered a CVA late last year. The home-based speech therapist recommended this app. Over the past several weeks, my aunt has demonstrated an improving trend as she works through a long recovery process. Congratulations on a well-designed app to help post-stroke patients work through their recovery.

Tremendous Help. I began using CT therapy as part of my at home therapy after having a stroke. Some of the activities were very frustrating at first. Fortunately I was able to download my self and was able to continue therapy. I still experience the frustration but the more I use the app the more comfortable I have become. Great app!

Very basic. The app is a helpful tool for someone in the initial stage of recovery after stroke or cranial surgery. Unfortunately, the exercises are very basic and limited. The same experiences repeat without increasing level of difficulty. Another problem is that the app does not allow you to pick incorrect answers, so after multiple attempts you’ll finally get to the right answer and will get highs score which is deceivingly optimistic. The app does not customize exercises based on assessment. Recommend to the developers: score based on the first attempt, focus on weak areas, add multiple levels of difficulty, allow to pick activities.

Great App. This app has helped so many people who suffer from having a stroke. Their support team is amazing with help. The support team gives the time and patience needed in order to help. I highly recommend this app.

The BEST Cognitive and Speech Language App. I cannot say enough good things about this app. I work in a skilled nursing facility. Both my patients and I love it. I have been a speech therapist for 31 years and have accumulated quite a collection of workbooks. However, since I am using Constant Therapy, I will not be using those workbooks very much. I love the variety of exercises and how it provides a summary of the patient’s performance. This makes report writing and data collection a breeze. My patients want to do their “homework”. The staff at Constant Therapy are so helpful whenever I have questions. They even have an inservice to help the therapist learn about all the features of the program. If you want a quality comprehensive tool to improve your patients’ communication and cognition, you have to check this out!!!!! Thank you Constant therapy developers and support staff for all you do😊

Great daily workout for the mind!. I had a stroke almost a year ago. Started out Attention therapy in late March or early April. One of my therapists introduced me to Constant Therapy and I took to it right away. Still using it to keep sharpening my awareness and memory. The developers keep upgrading current exercises and adding new ones. And they welcome feedback from users. Not only that, they listen to us! Not all the time, but often. Believe me, it’s well worth your time. Give it a try! User from PA

Great help. This challenges me every day. Easy to understand. Takes me about 40 minutes per lesson. Highly recommend

A ray of sunshine. This app has given our family hope in a hopeless situation. Mom is starting to show signs of improvement with her memory. Thanks to the people at CT.

Great Therapy. I have been doing this on and off for a few years and have noticed improvement. It is great.

A must-have for people with communication disorders. The fact that the app updates itself with new exercises regularly and adapts tasks based on progress really sets it apart from other brain training and speech/language apps!

Needs more stimuli. The app is fine as an alternate resource but the main issue for me has been the limited # of sessions I can do before I see repeats of stories, questions, pictures, and other stimuli.

Good but needs some tweaks. I don’t mind the new look but I feel there needs to be a couple of changes. Firstly, selected items should be more clearly defined or grayed out. The geriatric population that I work with can’t tell what items they’ve selected and what they haven’t. Secondly, it should show what set number the user is on. This feature existed in the old design and I’m not sure why it was removed. Overall a good app that has been very useful for my profession.

Didn’t get to use it. My wife had a stroke 2 months ago and is full time therapy, I downloaded this app and set everything up on it so when she is able to come home we could still work on her speech. Got a email today saying the free trial is over lol She hasn’t even got to use it yet. I understand you gotta make money and if I had known that there was a time limit after setting the app up I wouldn’t have done it until she got home. Oh well. Might be a good app. We couldn’t tell you.

Great for TBI. I have a traumatic brain injury with speech, memory, processing, and visual issues. This app is very helpful. I am getting more out of it than I got from Kaiser speech therapy.

Worth it. This app is wonderful for anyone in recovery from any sort of cognitive setback. Customer service is very helpful as well.

CT. It in a great and excellent application which gives mental abilities

Great new content. They keep adding new content so I don't get bored seeing the same things. I like the new stuff!

Great App but needs minor improvements. I am an SLP and this app is great for a wide variety of patient populations. The only thing I’ve noticed is that it would be better if the app explained the reasoning behind the correct/incorrect answer. Especially if this is supposed to be used outside of therapy, they may not know why they got an answer wrong and they won’t always have a therapist around to explain it. This won’t be necessary for all of the different sections like currency or memory but on the category identification, my patient will click yes/no if the words are in the same category and not know why they got it wrong. (Sometimes I don’t even know what category the app was going for haha).

Thieves. Just cancelled this app my wife was using until her death today. She was paid up through January 31. After I canceled, my Apple account was emptied out. Balance went from $14 or so to zero. I expect to see my credit card charged for another $11 to cover another month’s subscription. Crooks stealing from the dead.

Wonderful app. This has been so incredibly helpful! It’s also interesting and sometimes fun. The only reason that I did not give it five stars is because if I don’t see my speech therapist who can adjust the levels, it doesn’t always pick up on my feedback (like when I say too hard or too easy). But the people who work there are awesome and I Have to admit that I didn’t try to talk to them about this problem yet. In any case, I highly recommend this app to anyone suffering from any cognitive deficits!

Outpatient and post dischargrge. this app fit my needs perfectly during outpatient SLP and OT since it untethered me from having to do all of my therapy at my therapist’s office while maintaining her engagement in the therapeutic process. As I am still not able to drive, it lightened the burden on my wife and allowed us to return more rapidly to “normal” life post stroke (travel, vacations, etc.) while staying involved in an ongoing brain healing regime. Post discharge I have continued with the program using a privately retained “therapy and tech Personal Trainer”, a recent therapy school grad with significant tech skills and CT experience who could adjust and customize the mix of CT exercises and give me feedback on progress. She has also helped me to overcome barriers to executive functioning by assisting with my mastery of iCal and Evernotes to build tech and organizational skills that I never dreamed of pre-stroke. While I continue to have some residual deficits and weaknesses, I am optimistic about the opportunities for major continuing progress.I Cannot say enough about the benefits of CT AND have recommended it so often that I joke that I should go on Commission. However, knowing that I may have helped someone as I have been helped is all the recompense I need. Thanks to all those who designed and built this phenomenal application!

Not great. Report feedback doesn’t work, bugs at times with individual games, voice recognition not always accurate. High dollar monthly fee

Needs increase in difficulty.. Very fundamental. No significant increase in difficulty. It appears created for patients with severe functional brain damage. Good graphics, instruction and variety of programs.

Great App as patient with head injury. I am TBI from fall with memory and some speech issues. This is great app to do between therapy sessions. I do have to hit voice to identify item to put in alpha order on alpha task as I can’t tell what app is going for- ie soda was cola, drink or pop to me. Bandana looked like scarf. Could be regional differences for what items are called but can easily make alpha mistake with misidentification then get frustrated trying to think of what it might be. Automatic Auditory there with picture helpful and would not change what you are trying to achieve?

Smart phone compatible now, yay!. I had a traumatic brain injury and stroke 5 years ago. When I first entered outpatient speech therapy, Constant Therapy was recommended for me. At the time it was only iPad compatible and not smart phone compatible. A change in life events(I am attending graduate school now)found me back in speech therapy. I was pleased to see that the app is now smart phone compatible and I can do it while waiting for appointments or other down time. I think that my assigned tasks are well targeted to the cognitive areas in which I am weak. Being further out I am able to see the benefits and my provider is able to monitor my progress and help focus and target my assigned tasks. Very pleased.

Bad user experience. My family member who has dementia can only do very low level tasks and has enjoyed using this but the app forces you to regularly answer questions that are irrelevant and that are not at this individual’s comprehension level. They are annoying, intrusive and can’t be permanently bypassed, and contribute to a terrible user experience. For that reason we will no longer be renewing this app.

Best app for aphasia. My husband, a stroke survivor, has used this app daily for many years and it has been extremely beneficial to his speech rehab. New tasks are added all the time and progress is monitored for improvement suggestions. Customer service is exceptional! Strongly recommend!!

Can’t trust this. I ended up not even signing up. No matter what I tried multiple places of text were not readable. I wouldn’t sign up for or agree to anything unless I had read every word during the process. As that was impossible with cut off words, sentences, and inaccessible links, I felt it better to not sign up and leave this review to warn others.

Great for stroke recovery. I have been using Constant Therapy since last year. I have Atherosclerosis and have had 2 strokes. I just started using CBD Oil from American Shaman and I am starting to feel improvements. I feel more mental clarity for once when using this app. I highly recommend this app.

Love Constant Therapy!!. I was diagnosed with Aphasia recently... My speech therapist with (Janella) told me about Constant Therapy & I love the games that were directed to me...As they say: I'm not giving up!! Thank you!

Do not download. Useless

Didn’t even get to experience the trial. App glitched very early in my trial so I spent more effort trying to get over that (with no success). Ironic that the app is for difficulties with communication following stroke.

Cannot cancel subscription. Beware! They make it very difficult to stop the free trial from going to paid subscription. Plus now I’m trying to send this review it is blocking me! I had to give a high star rating before it would allow my review! Dodgy!

L. Quite a handy app. I love that I can set up individual task schedules for my clients. This app has a huge potential for so many more therapy tools, can't wait to see what's coming up.

Seizure relief.. Great app. I’m personally recovering from a motorcycle accident I had a last summer, and the CT App is a great help! Highly recommended.

Helped my concussion rehab. This is a very well thought out and well executed app. You can tell that people who understand brains are behind this. I suffered a concussion 2years ago and started using it on the advice of my doctor. I am pretty well recovered now but still use the app a few times a week to keep my brain sharp. I don’t think it’s sufficient therapy on its own but it is a fantastic adjunct to other treatment.

Really works. My doctor recommended that I start using Constant Therapy as part of my treatment for post-concussion treatment. At the time, I was having serious memory problems and couldn't follow a recipe without getting overwhelmed. I struggled at first. I was having a really hard time with the verbal tasks component of the training and was ready to throw in the towel. My doctor encouraged me to keep going, and I'm so glad that I did. I eventually broke through that barrier and I have noticed a huge difference in my ability to hang onto information. This has been a godsend for me.

Cost. Should make people aware of cost before installing

Not appropriate for cell phone. Some of the photos are too small to be used on a smart phone. Really only appropriate for computer screen. The segment with money uses American currency and expects the user to recognize coins. I’m not American.

CT. I believe this program is working for me!

Review. I am a recent survivor of a stroke (left brain). I am thankful for this APP for helping me back on my feet again, plus for my therapist who are with working with me. It is great that they let you try this APP for 30 days to see if works with you.

Incredible for TBI. This app lets you test your brain deficits and practice those problem areas daily, strengthening the neuron pathways. Just what my disability counsellors were hoping for. Great metrics, challenging problems. US oriented though.

Great Exercise for the brain!. I love this app. It was brought to my attention because I was recovering from a TBI (traumatic brain injury). I’ve recently not been able to do it daily and missed a few days, consecutively. It’s amazing how much this app helps me. I’ve noticed a drop in my performance after only a few days. This app makes me use my brain. It’s exercise for the brain.

I Love the App. My Mother had a stroke, this app is helping her relearn things. This app creates a program for you, and advances when your ready or takes you back a step if need be. Reports are great and Support was the BEST

Breakthrough app for stroke rehab. While my wife, three years post-stroke, has only been using CT for a few days, I think it is a breakthrough, in a class by itself, and just plain excellent. The app is easy to operate. The tasks are well defined and interesting. A session of multiple tasks is varied and keeps the participant motivated. The program is organic by tracking progress and increasing difficulty in those areas where the participant is improving. The program can be monitored and tweaked by a clinician but I haven't looked at those features yet. There are other programs that provide similar tasks independently but are not put together in a session framework, at least for the ipad. And they are not organic. I feel CT will help my wife recover speech and cognitive ability,

Constant Therapy an Outstanding Program. Soon after my husband suffered a stroke, our daughter began to research for available programs to help her Dad in his recovery. She was able to connect him with a project at Boston University Aphasia Research Lab and subsequently with the Constant Therapy Program. For the next several months we traveled the two hundred miles to Boston, in order that he might participate in the project. During this same time he was working with a language therapist, at home. The available insurance coverage was limited to sixty sessions and therefore didn’t provide nearly enough therapy. We feel very fortunate that Constant Therapy was then and continues to be available to my husband, every day, and any time. Over the past year he has faithfully performed the tasks given him. As a result, it has given him a feeling of accomplishment and empowerment over his own recovery. Though his progress is slow and he continues to struggle, we have seen improvement thanks to this remarkable program. The people at Constant Therapy are always available to offer help whenever it is needed. We are so grateful and thankful to them for their continued assistance and support.

MS in Health Care. Very helpful in so many ways make use of your brain good for memory and functional Reading daily basis....

Amazing Therapy App!. I want to thank Veera and the staff for such a truly insightful way to assist and assess the many facets to cognitive therapy. My father-in-law (who is recovering from a stroke), and I utilize this great app along with physical and occupational therapy for rehabilitation. This app, along with the support, is by far, as good as it gets.

Moves in it. The picture in the center and I have slide to picture has center, right, left, under and top. I have slide to picture, not moving. I has to move speak second time, move the picture. Ann Silver

Good Choice!. I like a good choice. This puzzles over many, many topics but keeps coming back. I've kept my competency at 90%.

Memory & Language Patient. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED----CT Program really helped me!!! My therapist recommended memory/cognition/language exercises & set up tasks for me at first. The program allowed me to easily change settings, make tasks more or less challenging, and change number repetitions. I could work at my own pace---anytime, anywhere---very convenient, especially with my schedule & family commitments. Games were challenging and fun at the same time! The reports section allowed me to track how I progressed; I could see areas where I progressed, and areas where I needed focus.

SLP use for pt. HW. Great app for providing home exercises for patients. Thank you! The only problem is that the interface/ program may be a little confusing for the patients to navigate independently.

Caregiver. My husband just turned 75 on Saturday - had his stroke last year. He had never used a computer before the stroke but now with his iPad and this program - he has gotten quite adept at using both. It is a very user friendly program. He was an avid crossword puzzle fan so this is a nice challenge for him. He is eager to use the program frequently(daily) as you are rewarded with new material the more you use it. It is also a program that will progress you forward with new material once you have mastered what you were working on. The program is also very applicable and practical in everyday life. The feedback is also excellent as you are using the program. I have witnessed my husband getting so much better using this program. I have spent hours looking for other programs on the Internet and I did not find anything to compare to this program. I cannot say enough great things about Constant Therapy! A must have program for people with Aphasia at a very reasonable monthly fee!

Speech Language Therapy. I'm a SLP in a SNF and all my patients love this app and I love the data tracking aspect of it for each patient. I only wish I could use it without wifi because not all of the buildings I work at have wifi available and I do not have 3G so I can not use it at all in those buildings.

CT needs its own therapy!. The exercises are OK, but need better proof reading . . . some of the math problems as well as visual comparison figures have errors and need correction(s) by the publisher. It is quite discouraging to the patient to have correctly answered a question and then be told the answer is incorrect, defeating the very purpose of the therapy of a person who struggles every hour of every day to return to normal life. Accuracy of the publisher cannot be over emphasized. Also, the "pauses" by the narrator are not helpful . . . after while, they become quite annoying. "Put the (pause) cat to the (pause) right of the (pause) dog." Try speaking that way to a friend and see how long they would tolerate it. Attention is needed to the audio quality and pronunciation so the words in the "spelling exercises" may be better understood. Not all concussion patients have perfect hearing and comprehension . . . They have enough challenges without battling audio and narration quality.

Great app! Used daily. My 26 yr old cousin suffered a severe brain injury as a result of a car accident in Aug, 2015. He spent one month hospitalized in bed plus two additional months in an in-patient rehab facility. This app is the best we found to supplement the out patient rehab he does weekly. He Enjoys the tasks & I don't have to nag him to do it.

Make it slower. Is too fast pace for me, please make it slower

Recovering stroke patient. I love Constant Therapy! I am getting better and CT is a tool that really works. I got 2 answers wrong according to the program today. My answers were correct. I wish there was a button on the screen to dispute these kinds of errors.

Excellent program for in and out of therapy!. I am a speech therapist in an outpatient clinic, and I use this app with a wide range of patients from children through elderly adults with a variety of diagnoses. I love this program and use it in some form every day! The company is also fantastic, super prompt with responses and open to suggestions, and even if there is a glitch on a task somewhere, they are quick to get their guys on to fix it. I love the data tracking, which takes a lot of guess work off the therapist. I would highly recommend CT for SLPs but also patients for home practice and carry over as well!

Awesome app!. I was fortunate enough to locate this app. It has been of tremendous value! The staff are second to none and provide Constant feedback! I could not be more pleased! My mom is incredibly grateful

Great App for SLPs. This app is fantastic, it has a huge bank of stimulus items so never repeats itself. It keeps data for you. Engaging and easy to use :)

I Love This!. In the beginning, I thought this was too easy. As time went by, it got harder! I will continue using this!

Constant Rehabilitation Support. One of the greatest challenges over the last 5 years was how to constantly provide home generated speech therapy for my mom. My mom is a stroke survivor who acquired aphasia. Insurance coverage was limited for her rehabilitation and our family tried to supplement her speech therapy the best we could at home. We worked on flash cards, worksheets, games, etc. We would try anything we thought would help facilitate an improvement in her speech while trying to keep her upbeat and positive about the potential to make improvements in her communication abilities. This is no small challenge for caregivers who are not trained in speech therapy and are still trying to adapt to life with a loved one who has lost their ability to communicate their daily needs. My mom has been using Constant Therapy now for a little over a month. This app provides my mom with therapy anytime she wants. The app tracks her progress and customizes her therapy to her individual strengths and weaknesses. We finally found the support we needed for a speech therapy program that can be done from home. This a resource that needs to be shared. This app has given my mom countless hours of therapy and a renewed feeling that she still has the potential to make improvements in her rehab even 5 years post stroke. Thank you Constant Therapy for an app that truly does support my mother's individual rehabilitation efforts.

Derrian Hemphill. Aphasia why do , what money strokes ? Brain!!!!

How do I create an account??. I want very much to play with this. I have cognitive trouble. I notice it. I test 3 standard deviations below the norm when before my injury I tested genius. I want to get better. PLEASE tell me how to use this.

Love it!. Constant Therapy is a wonderful program for stroke survivors with Aphasia and the most complete and comprehensive of any App we have tried. We love the variety of tasks and It is easy to. Constant Therapy can be monitored by your clinician but you can also continue to use it independently at home if professional therapy is discontinued. Customer service/support is exceptional.

Michelle AR SLP. Wonderful App, I use it frequently with a variety of patients in long term care!

Excellent speech language pathology tool. After a traumatic brain injury, my speech language pathologist recommended this app as a way to keep honing my cognitive skills while at home between sessions. Now it's part of my morning routine to work through a round of "homework"

Top software program to facilitate Speech/Language recovery. This program is an excellent resource for therapists and patients to work together to facilitate rehab and establish an excellent HEP in light of the recent changes with healthcare which limit therapy visits. The company and IT support is the most excellent I have experienced should there be support issues. I recommend this to all patients experiencing cognitive speech and or memory issues.

Must-have for Aphasia. I have been using it about six months. I love this app. I was using it at BU on a research study. I have Aphasia. When the study was finished I continue to use it. I love that the tasks gets harder and harder. I continue to improve. YAY for Constant Therapy! You should try it! I recommend it highly. Thank you.

Great concept, poor execution. I love that there are so many areas assessed. Unfortunately, the answer options make it too easy to pick anything but the correct answer. The matching sounds to letters never compares sounds that are even remotely close and the comprehension check has one correct answer and two that aren't in the slightest bit related to the text - making it very easy to identify the correct answer. Without "distractors" you really aren't assessing much of anything.

Easy, fun, effective. This app is easy to use even if you are new to iPads - it doesn't assume that you are tech savvy. The therapy sessions flow together seamlessly and draw you in - before you know it you have spent half an hour literally improving your mind. Progress feedback is continuous, which further draws you in.

CT is great!. CT is great!

Test of patience. Each tasks lacks detail of what it is training, how many sessions will occur, how to exit (without causing errors), etc. Only my beginning use but I am not encouraged to continue without better information.

Great app for stroke recovery. I am a gastroenterologist now recovering from a serious occipital lobe stroke that resulted in a dense hemianopsia and a great deal of loss of visual memory. My son was aware of Constant Therapy and installed it in my iPad; that was three months ago and since I have tried the program almost daily and found it extremely we'll done and helpful for my recovery. I have only praise and gratitude to those involved in its development and upgrading; many thanks again for it.

Great app. Constant Therapy has been very useful for me. It's easy to use and covers multiple therapy areas. I like the feedback and seeing what progress I've made. CT staff is helpful and answered my questions.

Great app for stroke patients with Aphasia. My husband suffered a stroke in April and to say his cognitive abilities were comprised is an understatement. While he was going to a speech pathologist 3 times a week and doing 'homework', it just did not seem that he was making enough progress so I began researching iPad software specifically designed for aphasia and discovered Constant Therapy. We began with the trial period and was extremely pleased with the results we witnessed in just a month so we signed up for the program. The way the software works is very individualized which, in my observation, is the best way for any stroke victim. Thanks Constant Therapy Tom and Stacey

Effective and fun to use!. I love using Constant Therapy for my mom! It was easy to teach to her because of the numerous tutorials in the app, and the Constant Therapy team was very helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions whenever I called them about the app. My mom also has a lot of fun playing the different games, and I love that they get more difficult automatically for her and that she has so many choices. Well worth the download, and I plan on subscribing.

An Outstanding Therapy App. I am a speech-language pathologist who works with individuals with language and cognitive impairments. I've used Constant Therapy for 2 years, and it has become an integral part of many patients' therapy program. One feature that I find particularly valuable is the app allows me to view patients' progress and add/modify tasks from my iPad. They are constantly adding new things to the app, and I have found that individuals with mild, moderate, and severe impairments benefit from using it. Many have continued to use Constant Therapy after discharge from speech-language therapy. I highly recommend it!

Great therapy. I love this app. It's perfect to do therapy when one can't get therapy anymore. Very nice and simple to use. Love the activities.

TBI Rehabilitation. Our office has been utilizing CT for the last few weeks. As a neurologist, I feel that the various domains of treatment offered in one app have been useful for in-office and at-home treatment.

Speech-Language Pathologist. Constant Therapy has allowed my patients greater access to home programming activities that are right for them. Several of my patients are using it. This app allows a SLP to customize a patients assigned home practice activities from any ipad. It provides detailed and easy to interpret results that allow for truly customized treatment to continue in the home environment. Minimal navigation is needed for the patient to complete assigned work making it accessible even to those patients that are not as "tech-savvy" as others. The development of the treatment activities was conducted in conjunction with a leading researcher in the field of adult language/cognitive disorders. The developers have responded to feedback from patients and clinicians and are making improvements daily. I highly recommend this app for people with aphasia.

Great app.. My 39 year old son is a recovering TBI and a therapist introduced us to this program a few months ago. He is able to us his finger and in doing so has stimulated many more areas in the brain. He is working faster already. I recommend the program.

Most helpful. It a well thought out program with customization for the individual. The tasks are useful and should result in gains for most people

Great app. Just started and can't wait to use it more! I really like being able to track my progress

Best In-House Therapy Ever !!!. My mother, 55, has Early Onset Alzheimer's. She's in stage severe, level four / on her way to five. This app has actually reversed some of her frustrations with numbers, words, recall, and memory. I can't be more impressed. It has instilled more confidence to try and taught her to have patient with herself as she realizes she is capable of doing tasks. That previously paralyzed her. It doesn't solve the problem or illuminate her handicap, but it has in many ways saved and even improved her cognition that would otherwise be lost. I truly can't talk this app up enough. I also don't know why others don't know about it. This app is literally the best thing that has happened for her since she was diagnosed two years ago.

Hi. Great app but hate the home work

Constant Therapy Rating. I had a stroke two years ago. Doing Constant Therapy enables me to do therapy on my own, daily, similar to what I would do with a therapist. I can see my progress by looking at the reports. I can email the reports to my therapist and my Dr.

Helpful App!. I set this app up for my daughter. Her long term memory is very impaired and she struggles academically. I love how I can adjust the skills she is working on based on difficulty, amount of work, time, etc... She goes through it once a day and the repetitive practice is so important and helpful for her to retain the skills. She does not mind doing the skills and is able to complete it independently and then I can go back and check how she did. The app also has GREAT personal support and will even email and check in to see how things are going and how they can help. Would highly recommend!

Stroke patient. I have been using this for just a couple days I had a stroke last year in April. Spelling and saying numbers is hard for me now but after using this software is slowly getting easy. I only found two problems with the software . Thirst send one of my issues is numbers I haven't found a place where asked me to say numbers and display different number. So I can improve in saying them. Also iPhone if I get something wrong it doesn't tell me why it's wrong so I can better understand my error. Maybe there is someplace that does do both of these and I just haven't found it yet. If so it would be nice if I can find out. With the exception of these two things I really like the app.

Great app. This is a tremendous app for anyone that is dealing with speech or language impairments. The app is very easy to use both as a speech therapist and for an individual person or patient. The app keeps track of your results and you can track your improvements over time. I have used many other apps and language tools and this is by far the easiest and best tool to use. If you have suffered a stroke and have speech impairments this is the perfect app for you. Jeff G

As I improve, the app gets harder. I had a stroke 6 months ago and have Aphasia. Along with my speech therapy, Constant Therapy has been godsend. I use it every day - sometimes multiple times. I highly recommend this app, and thank the developers daily.

Fabulous!. This app is positively fabulous! The images are colorful and easy to see. The tasks are relevant and meaningful. My patients truly enjoy this app! Thank you for creating a really effective, engaging, and statistically useful program! Brita, MA-CCC/SLP

So far, very good!. Excellent effort with this app. Always looking for apps that can track progress and be used for carryover or home exercise program.
