Broke something that worked. A lesson in how to screw up a perfectly good app. Still haven’t fixed basic navigation in the app. Does not work with Folio Touch iPad case and is spotty at best with Apple Pencil. Previous version works with both of those devices. And to the developer team - not everyone wants to read a newspaper on their phone. IPads are great for newspapers.

Las Cruces Sun News. No user friendly

Terrible app, terrible service. Does not retain or can not access correct account information! Locks me out of all devices constantly. LC Sun News taking my payment every month though. Ridiculous!!

Can't sign in on app. Since the update, the app will not let me sign into my account.

Nothing like the reg paper no obituary. Nothing like the reg newspaper

No privacy options. No ability to modify cookies or privacy information. Not to mention the click bait ad trash that’s everywhere and mixed in with the actual news headlines and articles. Why is there a subscription if it’s going to be littered with those kind of ads?

No good. This app has had the same news for days. Come to think of it the web site is the same too. Waste of money for the online subscription.

Terrible Paper. Gannett bought the paper, instantly took out Sound Off, the peoples input. Rest of the paper is pieced together with copies of national stories, no local sports. Do not recommend.

Update this app!. Now that I’ve updated my iPhone, the Sun news app keeps crashing every time I try to launch it. Please update it or I will have to cancel my subscription!

Does not keep up with breaking news. I’ve often found news in the Albuquerque Journal from one day ago, and I’ll search LCSN and find it does not keep up with the current news that is important to Las Crucians. For example, the state of NM was one in four states to receive the money from FEMA for unemployment, this happened Monday, and here it is Wednesday and nothing is mentioned at all in today’s paper.

the app is terrible. it keeps freezing… locking up… getting pages the size you want is awful… I do the Fargo Forum on line… works perfectly

Very Convenient. I like the convenience of the App as I travel, I can keep up with my hometown.

What are the contents?. Are there cartoons? Are there classified ads? Are there scores?

Worst Newspaper APP. This app is the worst app of any I’ve used in years. It seems to be filled with bugs. Fix it!

Bad update. I love reading the newspaper but this recent update has made it challenging at best and downright frustrating. It is unstable and jumps from page to page arbitrarily and from larger to smaller print in the middle of articles. The previous version was much more user friendly

Keeping up to date. After living in cruces for several years i find it nourishing to read about las Cruces

No help, no access, no way to cancel. I can’t get into the app, can’t find where to cancel it and definitely don’t want it after all the hassle

Stopped updating. This has been on the same page for 2 weeks. Even though the refresh date is correct.

L C Sun-News. I like the newspaper; want to see more high school coverage of sports and activities.

Very sad. I have subscribed to the LCSN since 1992. The app shows me logged in and I am still limited to a few articles per month.

This App Doesn’t Work. Have been struggling for days to try to read the paper, without success. Deleted app, reinstalled, cleared caches, even created a new account, still not working.

Need subscription to see all stories. Used to be better when anyone could see all stories. Now you have to subscribe to see all stories in every heading.

Lousy service. For 50yrs I have been a subscriber, your app is very poorly designed and does not work! Paper is not readable in the present format! And the puzzles will not print, they turn off the connections when you click on the print button!!I hope you are smart enough to fix the problem!

Do you update?. The coverage is pitiful and “Top Stories” won’t refresh on iPad. Las Cruces coverage has really hurt since USA Today takeover. App works only as well as the coverage.

Go To for Latest News. I can count on the latest local news. The format I enjoy is the one from the original paper. It is easy to manueaver.

Smh. Having to pay $5 or $6 per month just to see a full story on there is a joke. We should be able to read the articles without having to pay. Theres children missing and can't even read their description to try and help just due to that.

Subscribed but can’t read. I’m subscribed but it won’t let me read any articles and days I e run out of free articles and need to subscribe.

Five Stars for Sun News. The Sun News app allows you to stay on top of news, events, and weather locally and around the state. It's intuitive for browsing and reading all the information you need and while you don't need to have a subscription to get news, a subscription is well worth the investment to have unlimited access to articles, op-eds, and more.

Great news coverage!!. I hope they keep the rate the same and not change it. Just wishful thinking!

Improved. The new version makes it easier to grow the comics page and navigate while maintaining the clarity of the image.

Not very good. This newer version is constantly freezing up. Takes longer to download. The advance page buttons skip pages. In the middle of reading a news article, the app will blink and switch back to the front page. This “ new app” should have been tested before being dumped on us Now the pages don’t fit the screen on my iPad, but are too big. What a mess

New sun-news app. This app is garbage! I have the print edition and I pay for that. I don’t need a new app. Please delete the screen that says to download the new app. It’s very annoying!

Great coverage. Having Sun News on my phone has been very convenient, it has kept me up to date on local and state news. It has been very handy!!!

No longer a local newspaper. It seems to me this really isn’t a newspaper anymore.

News. I think this app is good because you can look at it anytime you want being a truck driver and not now in going on I just pick up my phone look for the news in my town

If I could give it a zero I would. Won’t let me read anything to which I have a paid subscription. Says I “already have max subscriptions.” Bull. I have one, I’m the only one trying to access it. I have yet to be able to read anything in ten days of subscribing.

Great app, until the update.. Loved this app, but now almost all the content that used to be free, now requires a subscription. Deleting today.

Articles won’t update. Articles won’t update even with the latest December 2018 app update. Articles haven’t updated since July. No problems with articles updating on any of my android devices.
