Doesn't do much. It does give you info but no way to edit the histogram. I didn't see any easy way to add in a watermark, that needs to be user friendly right away

Major flaw. Only works if photo is not stored in iCloud. If it's not on the device (which is rare these days to be on the device) you will see no info for the selected image.

Does not function as advertised. Can not add or edit EXIF or Copyright info as advertised. Please Fix.

Great app. Works great

Good start. This app has a good start. A few things I would like to see added over time: - When a photo has been saved to the camera roll with an app like Workflow that lets you pick an arbitrary (but DCIM-legal) photo name, Exify needs to show that name instead of or in addition to the IMG_XXXX.JPG name that it shows now. - Needs ability to edit more IPTC fields, like keywords. -

No access to photo library. What’s the point if you can’t access your pictures ?

Good. Until now, there have been few ways to add a copyright notice and description to a photo. This makes it easy. I'm not sure why Apple doesn't bake this functionality into iOS, but this makes a good workaround.

Pretty darn good for version 1. I've purchased several apps in the past that allowed you to view metadata for photographs, but Exify goes way beyond that. Histograms, location data with maps, and even the ability to edit metadata and add watermarks. This is version 1 so there are some bugs. The biggest is that Exify currently doesn't play well with iCloud photo library. If you have it set to upload your originals and "Optimize iPhone Storage" Exify won't be able to open your photos, and may crash if you try. This is very annoying but there is a workaround. If you open the photo in the Photos app first this will download it from iCloud. (and if you select the heart icon and make it a favorite the photo won't be removed from your device in the future) Hopefully the developer will fix this soon. There's also one odd design choice; the Exify app can only VIEW metadata. You have to open an image in the Photos app, choose edit and select Exify in order to EDIT metadata. Hopefully they'll add this feature to the app itself in the future.

Needs an actual tutorial for cryptic UI. For the life of me, I can't figure out how I'm supposed to go about removing GPS/location data, which is supposed to be a major feature of the app. The developer website is zero help on the matter, it has a grand total of three items in their FAQ, it's no help whatsoever. I'm also not sure how I'd go about adding a location/copyright/watermark either, if I was interested in the other "features" of this app. Either this is a trainwreck of a UI, or they advertise functionality that doesn't exist. Edit: the functionality doesn't exist. I have NO idea why Gruber thinks so highly of this outfit. App was a waste of money.

Won't work except on extremely lo-res imaged. Will not even *open* ordinary shots from iPhone 6S Plus! Would be a worthwhile app if it did NO WAY TO CONTACT DEVELOPER ON THEIR WEBSITE. Right now, I get much of the useful info--though not the histogram--from Metapho App.

View EXIF data inside Photos!. Once you have the app, you can use its extension inside Photos by tapping the Share button. It’s great to see all the nerdy details behind your photos

Great app, one minor bug. I was looking for an app that would allow me to easily add an image description to the EXIF. This app does exactly that. One minor bug: after saving the image description, the image appears slightly more saturated in color. I hope this is fixed in an update.

Does not work on iPhone6s. Maybe because I only have 16 GB of RAM? When launching the app, it displays all my thumbnails. Click on any of them and the app crashes...

Good information up front. I found this gave me quick access to basic information that the iPhone should have as part of its operating system, information about image dimensions. What would make this better fit me is a greater magnification. It goes to 4x. How about going to 8x or 16x magnification?

No instructions for extra features. Nowhere in the app are there instructions to get the "extra features" to work -- removing geo data and adding watermarks. Those were the main reason I bought the app. Bummer.

Yesssss! Awesome.. This app is fantastic. FINALLY a way to get at all that data embedded in photos. And the way it integrates into the share sheet is top-notch. Well designed, excellent, cheap little app. 👍🏼

Bugs and oversights. In addition to the same issues others are stating. Other observations: (1) Many photos in my roll aren't even showing up in the app (2) You can’t access your albums. You can only see the Camera Roll and Favorites.

Remove GPS?. I can't see for the life of me how I remove the data from my photos, only show data....

Great App, UI is good. But lack one thing I'm looking for. Read through your app description I noticed that it mentioned ppl can "remove their location info for privacy". Removing exif info is the function I've been always looking for and you said u got it. But after 20 mins search on the app I don't find it, could you tell me where is this function or it doesn't come out yet. Thanks

App Not Working. After installing and giving access to my photos I get only a black screen. Very disappointing! As this is a brand new app I should have known better. I will be contact customer support immediately as of now I feel like I just blew $2. Do not believe I rates one star but...

No customer support. Provides useful EXIF data if you can locate your image! Recently purchased the App and gave it permission to access my Photos library. The photos show up in the App but in random order. A sort function does not seem to be available. I have writtent to Iconfactory asking if there is a way to sort the photos but they have not bothered to respond!

Nice features, but slightly disappointed. I like the features, and the app's ca[abilities, but I find it odd and troubling that I have to leave the app and open an image in Photos in order to use their app as an extension to add co-height info or otherwise edit the EXIF data. Why aren't those capabilities available when running the app?that just seems ridiculous.

Access more photo albums?. This app presents EXIF data beautifully, but I wish it could directly browse photos beyond just the Camera Roll. Although it's not nearly as pretty as Exify, ExifWizPro opens any Album in Photos, and neatly lets you flip through its photos to quickly compare the basic exposure data.

Exify on iPhone - no go for IPTC metadata. I bought this app based on descriptions that IPTC data could be added for photos on one’s iPhone. Not true. I want my money back. Looks very good apart from that.

Add GPS metadata not working.. With last version.

Needs Work. Most apps that access the camera roll stored on the Cloud are able to grab a photo in mere seconds. This app cannot do that and crashes or hangs. The developer said to exit Exify and download the image in Photos first and the use the app. If others can do it quickly why can't Exify. This company needs to work on their product.

Disappointing coming from The Iconfactory. I'm generally a fan of software made by The Iconfactory, but this app is clunky and slow, especially while attempting to access photos stored in an optimized iCloud Photo Library. The app design is also pretty disappointing coming from a company that prides itself on beautiful, functional designs.
