Extremely unsatisfying. So one of my order went missing, like the whole order and i had already paid for it through my card. When I contacted them 1st time they said they are going to refund me but didn’t. Again when i knocked them, they said they are going to do it soon but then after 1 whole day, i got nothing. Then i emailed them, they said “ looks like we have consistently unmet your expectations so we can’t refund you.” I am like what? It’s only because you guys are not responding so i have to actively knock you guys. I still didn’t got my refund. Bad service. Very disappointed.

Unreliable drivers and horrible customer support. Same as everyone else. :39 minute estimate turns into 2 hours until I get my food, after talking to customer service twice. Driver accepted order from the other side of town and then his car didn’t move for 50 minutes. No credit. No refund. Asked to cancel and the support person said it will be less than 30 minutes. It’s been 40 and the driver is sill 20 minutes away. One of the few apps that accepts cash though, so I’m just going to order food and not be home and they can eat it.

WORST customer service. I placed a cash order for a burger & fries and got a notification that my courier was arriving so I waited by the door. No one ever knocked or called me. At one point I just opened the door to see where they were but there was no one around. I contacted the support chat explaining what happened and they said the courier had emailed me (!?) and it was true I had an email but why would someone not knock on the door? Why wouldn’t they call me? And why would they leave right after sending said email? I told them that made no sense and all they said was sorry. They didn’t offer to replace my order or give a credit or anything. So I requested they replace my order, to which they said they couldn’t do. So I tried to order again myself and it automatically cancelled. I told the support chat that and they said I couldn’t place a cash order after a previous cash order wasn’t delivered. How is that my fault??? They said I had to prepay online... for an order that I had already waited an hour for and they couldn’t even guarantee would show up.

Spam. The app will periodically spam your push notifications with their promotions and advertisements. Their user setting to turn this off doesn’t actually do anything, and their customer support refused to correctly identify this as a SkipTheDishes issue, take ownership, and remediate this internally. Sure, Apple has a setting to completely turn off notifications for an app, but then you don’t get updates on the orders you’ve placed either. Not good. Instead, they insisted the issue with my user setting. I had one customer service rep tell me to turn the setting off to stop the notifications, I had another rep tell me to turn the setting ON to stop the notifications (what?), and ads would spam my phone regardless of what direction the setting was flipped. Both agents deflected when asked to report this as a bug internally and instead blurted out their preset customer-service scripts. Hope you have a nice day with our terrible app :) I’ve deleted the app from my phone and will be using other food delivery services that don’t spam paying customers with advertisements.

What a pain.... Since the company is based out of Canada, my bank thinks every transaction is unusual activity, and blocks it, so my orders constantly get cancelled, unless I can approve the charge, and then the app blocks me out for trying to place orders multiple times, since they just get cancelled, because that is apparently, unusual activity, as well. I was given Skip credits, which I couldn’t even use, and had to talk to like 10 different people, and none of them could solve any problem for me. I finally got my money back, instead of having everyone give me the run around, but I will no longer use this app. Since it doesn’t work.

Unprofessional customer service. This will be my last time ordering with you guys, but I suggest if you're going to call customers and give them an option to replace an order, understand that the customer would then have to go back on the internet or app to search through the menu. I was told to "hurry up a bit". Originally I asked customer service what my options are as far as a drink replacement because that’s the option I was given when the call started and the guy clearly offered a refund only because he didn’t know the beverage options himself. I asked twice because I was really wanting something to drink and he just repeated the refund options. My phone conversation with your customer service was only for 3 minutes and I was being rushed to figure it out within a minute of getting on the phone. Proper customer service will allow people the few minutes they need to figure out something like that. I shouldn't be expected to have the menu memorized right when I'm called. SkipTheDishes or JustEat can rebrand itself into as many names as they want. If the service is not professional they will continue to get these horrible ratings. I was so shocked someone would even dare rush a CUSTOMER within A MINUTE of getting on the phone with them. It’s not my fault you guys don’t pull up menus for situations like this like OTHER delivery services do and it’s also not my fault that I have to find a replacement because the store doesn’t have the beverage!

Great app, except major flaw. Better selection than Uber Eats, just very flawed in canceling accidental orders. I placed a “pre-order” several days ago thinking that meant the restaurant would be open later in the day (which is how UberEats is set up). Confirm order and then realize it was a preorder several DAYS out. Immediately send a message on the chat function that I’d like to cancel the order because there’s NO OTHER WAY TO CANCEL AN ORDER WITHIN THE APP. But, I was at work and was hosting an event, I had no time to sit and wait for chat to respond, I just hoped it be canceled. Completely forgot about the order until I get a notification that my currier was arriving... two days later. Because the delivery driver was already arriving, my friends card (that was paying two days before at work) was charged with an order I could not cancel days before the restaurant could even confirm the order. Very frustrating and embarrassing.

Very unsatisfactory service. It started good and I’ve been spending around 1000$ per month with them sometimes but recently their service is getting worse and worse! In my last experience the food was not delivered while sending delivered notification for me! I contacted the support… 5 minutes for a response from the person who finally said food was not delivered and they will give me skip credit. I told them I’m reevaluating using their app for now and prefer the money to return to my account so I can purchase from another place! The person just wrote we don’t return the non delivered food money right away, contact us after 24 hrs and just left the chat!!!! This type of customer service is just unbelievable!

Worst customer service. The app itself does the job. The problem lies in the costumer service. I placed an order and tracked my driver as he picked up and delivered three other orders before getting mine. When the food arrived it was lukewarm and an item was missing. I immediately chatted to customer service where they Informed me they would refund the item. I however still wanted the item but they don’t do redelivery of missed items. So I was told I had to place a new order. That item came (ice cream shake) melted. I spent an hour and a half total on with customer service where he kept doubling back on what he had said and ultimately refunded me In skip Credit and not back to my card as I requested. When the service works (I’ve used it once out of five times where I did not have a disappoint cold delivery) it could be good. But management is not trying to make this a beneficial service and doesn’t actually care about the customers happiness.

Great product… could improve. I use Skip on a regular basis. I find the app interface easy, and the choices are really good. My one issue is delivery times. I’ve had quite a few deliveries take 2x as long as predicted. It can take 60-90 minutes to get food ordered from just a few blocks away. However, I will keep using Skip! It works well.

Bad experience. Driver never showed with a $30 Pizza, tracking said he or she was here but nobody was on the block at all. Called customer service and they initially apologized and admitted the driver checked in when he wasn’t really at our house and said it would be five minutes. Called back and the next customer service person blamed it on a busy night and said the driver had come but hadn’t rang the bell (called from a blocked phone number) and that they would be back in fifteen minutes. This is almost two hours after I ordered a single pizza. Driver never showed but they sent an email with a credit for five dollars and order status changed to complete so I couldn’t see tracking anymore. I called again and they said it would be at least an hour for the pizza to arrive and offered me store credit for the failed order. I requested credit card refund and they said it would be a week to receive a refund on food that never came. Rude, shady, inconsiderate and zero compassion. Immediately ordered from UberEATS and they were here inside half an hour.

Services decreased over time!. When i first used this app i thought it was awesome. Lately, delivery estimations have stayed at 20-40 minutes for at least 20-30 minutes which adds a longer wait than you would be expecting. Today i have had enough. I simply emailed customer service trying to cancel my order because it sat at 30 minutes ETA (estimated time of arrived) for a good 15-20 minutes. I was informed that i couldn’t cancel my order because the restaurant had already started making my food. Which is bull crap. The messages that came across the top of the screen literally said “the restaurant is going to need a little more time” then i got the WORST CUSTOMER service experience from Dilys. Thanks for ruining my lunch Skip!

Horrible customer service. Drivers are normally really nice, unless you get someone who steals you food. I was chatting with the customer service for over three hours, two hours in the finally got someone to go and pick the food up, just to complete it out saying he delivered it. Then they had to investigate what had happened with the food. After three hour I wanted a refund for the food that was never delivered, and I wanted a credit for my wasted lunch time with no food, rep told me all she could get me was $7 credit which is bull. Normally the wait for a manager to call a customer back is 24-48 hours, but for my issues they upped it 15 to 20 min. Was finally given a credit of $22. Now I’m going to use them and delete the app. It’s not the first time this has happened and I can promise you it won’t be the last. Rep I chatted with was completely rude and was refusing to just give me a bigger credit. If she would have just done it I wouldn’t have had to wait even longer for s manager to call me

Horrific Service. Initial promise to deliver was 25 minutes that came and went and then it stayed at 38 minutes before climbing to an hour and a half. I called to cancel. The operator interrupted me, mansplained why they couldn’t get a hold of the restaurant, and causing me to escalate my repetitive request - I want to cancel and I want refund. He continued to tell me he needed to explain to me how things worked. I said NO - in business if you cannot deliver on a product you have lied to your customer. I wish to cancel and I would like a refund can you accomplish this? No I need you to wait he said. Why is that?! I said, are you all using just one computer in your call center?! - Who there can complete my simple request to cancel and have a refund? And like some nightmare used car sales bit the asshat transfers me to ANOTHER dude who wants me to listen. I am tired - I am still hungry - I have had ENOUGH BS. So like some psychotic mocking bird I repeat my request until he finally allows me the basic consumer tenant of canceling the order they were too inept to fulfill. Don’t use these guys. It’s not the convenience it promises and it’s certainly NOT worth the hassle.

Great customer service. I have used the app multiple times. This last time, the driver picked up my order, drove past my hotel and just kept going and ended the delivery. Great customer service. I opened a chat window on the app and they responded right away. They tried to contact the driver, when he didn’t answer, they gave me the option of a credit or a full refund. My issues are 1. You aren’t able to contact the driver 2. You have to give the tip before they deliver

Started out as the best, but fell quickly. We used Skip a ton and had great experiences but lately there have been major issues with drivers, either there are not enough drivers or they are “multitasking” because it will say “Joe is on his way to pick up your order” but he’s soooo fat away on the map. Then they’re missing turns, taking routes that are way out of the way, stopping for long periods for no reason, basically doing everything besides picking up my order. I have gone out and picked up multiple orders myself and this last one will be the last time I use Skip. It’s not about the time it takes, it’s that my food will be ruined sitting there for 45 minutes at the restaurant waiting for bozo to make his way there. Very unfortunate.

Good app but……. I love this app as a Uni student but closing at 9:30 doesn’t help that late night hunger (when you have no car). If the hours were longer it would probably be a better app. Customer service is meh, I’ve been told I didn’t order something (them saying I got a meal) when I ordered two things. Had to show them (via email) that I only ordered two things and not a meal, got refunded. So only two changes need to happen in my mind, longer hours (because other apps have a 24 hour service, I think) and better customer service. More for the hours, I wanna be able to get a Big Mac at 10:30 while studying 😣

Fraud App and company - skipthefraud. The app shows that you were about to get discount of 7 dollars and when it goes to payment gateway it did not apply the coupon and stole money from me. If it was not going to give discount I would not have made that order. On top of that the app gave the pickup order to the wrong restaurant branch and I had to travel miles to get my order. Even the restaurant told me that they charge exorbitantly to customers and the same order if make through a phone call would have costed me 10 dollars less. The is a disgusting company who rips off their customers with a fraud website and app..Never going to use it again!!! I also spoke to customer care which is outsourced to some third world bpo and they don’t understand what I am saying only does copy paste of pre written scripts and urls. Stupid customer care uninstalling now

Horrible Experience, terrible customer relationship management. I was waiting at home for my pizza to arrive for over an hour, then eventually it said it was delivered but no one had come to my Home. It turns out the delivery person had called and hung up to make it look like he’d reached out and left with the food! When I realized I called chat who refunded the order but did nothing to fix the stress of the situation and who didn’t seem to be able to even conceive of what it’s like to sit at home with a toddler waiting to eat, who’s been promised pizza that never arrives. The representative was so apathetic as to actually be rude and the driver who I eventually got on the phone was even worse. The situation was so terrible. A supervisor is supposed to call me “when they have a chance” which is “usually within 24 hours.” I will never order from them again.

Horrible methods. This company let me place an order, saying it would arrive in approximately 72 minutes. A little long but I can handle it on a busy Friday night. They then charge me for my order on my credit card, and suddenly a notification popped up saying “delivery drivers are not available in your area, check back again later” What THE HECK? Why let me place an order if you have no way to actually get my food delivered. And check back when, in three hours? tomorrow? In five days? I ordered it because I have a family who is hungry in the next hour, not in ten hours or however long you want me to wait around and keep checking back hoping maybe I can get it sometime someday. And now conveniently it takes 3-5 days for the charge to go back to my card, because YOU BET I cancelled and ordered directly through the restaurant. Just had to go pick it up myself but it was ready in 15 minutes. Sure delivery is convenient if you have a lot going on and a family, but this whole experience was kind of ridiculous and I’m deleting the app the minute I get my money back from this order.

Atrocious and irresponsible!!. Let me begin by saying this service is not even worth rating. I placed an order at 7:45, confirmed by the restaurant. The driver took the most indirect route possible to even reach the vicinity of the restaurant and then I literally watched the driver drive around the restaurant for 30min, using the “track my order” feature on the app, while my food was done, becoming cold and was ready to be picked up. It took him an additional 15min to pick up the order and it was finally delivered, ice cold, at 9:20. The real issue lies with the management. Both my wife and I called to complain and receive a full refund and the only solution they offered was a 10$ credit(the delivery fee/tip) to my card, which they weren’t initially willing to do, they instead wanted to give me 10$ in credits to use with them...as if I would ever use their service again. The manager called the restaurant and tried to blame them for the error and late delivery and then in turn told us it was the restaurant’s fault and that we weren’t entitled to a full refund. Long story short, don’t waste your time with this app/service. Save yourself the disappointment and regret. My wife just lost a close family member and all I did was try and have a nice relaxing night in with take out and ended up with this fiasco.

Agree 100%. I had the same AWFUL experience as others have stated. Cold food, terrible skip mgmt, only offering skip credits (which I did agree to the first time, because it was literally the only compensation I’d get), I tried the service a second time. This time I decided to pick it up. Skip sent Over the wrong time to the restaurant. But still showed it was being worked on via the app’s order tracker until the actual time I requested. I showed up and the food had been sitting there which I actually didn’t even know until I got home and everything was cold. I immediately called SKIP , and the management team also tried blaming the restaurant (same as the my First order). It absolutely was not the restaurant’s fault. I felt so awful I called the the place afterwards to tell them I never complained about them or their service. And they told me skip called them and told them they made crappy food and messed up my whole order. This company is so irresponsible. I will NEVER use this app again.

Horrible. I’ve placed 3 orders. The first order there were no issues. The second order the place was out of something so I canceled the order and was told I would get a refund. It’s been over 2 weeks with no refund. I reached out to them only to be told it’s been refunded. The 3rd order happened before I realized I never got the refund for the second order. After waiting over an hour for food I contacted them. They claimed there was a sudden higher than usual demand. Another hour goes by and my food arrives. 2 hours after the initial order. My food had obviously been sitting there waiting for the 2 hours. I contacted them and they are supposed to be sending me a refund. Since I didn’t get the first one I doubt I’ll get the second one. I will stick with other delivery services

Poor customer service. When I first started using SkipTheDishes I had no problems the food was excellent the customer service was excellent with the SkipTheDishes drivers but lately if I’m not have an issue with the restaurants I’m having an issue with the SkipTheDishes drivers today my order came up to $31 and some change I handed the driver $50 expecting my change back he said he had no change then the customer service felt like I was in the wrong for complaining because the driver was trying to get change which the driver at all said nothing about getting change he said and I quote I do not have change so I missed out on $18 and some change and just FYI crediting my account is no longer except acceptable because this is just out and out ridiculous

2 hours plus to receive an order. I get long wait times for restaurants on a busy weekend I really do but I’ve ordered on much busier weekends from app like Postmates or Grubhub and the wait was never this long. I’ve ordered twice and both time it took over 2 hours to receive my food plus the fact that the restaurant called me both times to tell me they were just waiting for the drivers. If the place is 15 minutes max from me why is it taking the drivers 45 minutes to pick the food up and drop it off. Guess what app just got deleted. Also I had a rude customer service agent call me about the eta who was rude and hung up on me when asked her why the driver was about to pick up my food 20 minutes after the restaurant called to confirm the food was ready and just waiting for a driver.

SkipTheApp other delivery apps do it better🤷🏽‍♂️. Terrible. I ordered 1 item from skip and it took 45 minutes. The driver delivered it to the wrong address. How do you deliver to the wrong address in the middle of the day? It took 30 minutes for them to finally refund me my order then took another 45 minutes just to deliver me the one item I requested over 2 hours ago. Uber eats could’ve done it in 30 minutes. Their chat support is garbage too. One of their reps offered me $10 in skip credits then never added it to my account. Every time I asked about it they never added it instead giving me excuses. If you have Uber eats this isn’t even worth downloading. I’d rather walk to a restaurant than waste my time just to be disappointed.

Later, not sooner. I very happily used Skip the Dishes for over a year—the convenience was hard to beat, as I often have little time during the day for lunch. Over the past few months, however, the ETA has been missed time and again as I rack up “Skip credits” as cold solace for late deliveries and increasingly colder food. Today it took over two hours for my meal to arrive—it was clearly prepared some time ago. I’m not sure exactly what the problem was, and Customer Support, while friendly and professional, provided little actual support to resolve the problem. Sadly, Skip the Dishes has lost its convenience, and I’m unlikely to use them again.

Horrible Customer Service. Planning on deleting this app! Trying to place my order was very difficult due to a issue with the app. I was hung up on by two different SkipTheDishes employees while they were “looking into the issue” The third person I spoke two didn’t offer anything helpful. Finally after I was able to place my order (I had to call back and get a refund for items I was forced to add) Once I finally received my order there were three missing items. The SkipTheDishes employee I spoke to about this issue was very rude and I ended up having to ask for her supervisor. Overall this was a huge ordeal just for a burger and I can’t wait for UberEats to offer delivery to my neighborhood.

First experience: order never received. My first time using the app. My order stated it was “delivered” after just 15 minutes (estimated 30-60) and asked me to review the order. I hadn’t received the order. I could not track the order. Contacted service and they said it was en route. By 15 minutes past their quoted time it hadn’t arrived. This was 30 min after the app listed the order as “delivered”. Contacted service again. Now it has yet to be picked up and would be there at around 740p. It was currently just after 8p... an hour after the app stated the order status as “delivered”. Nothing has arrived.

Worst service ever. I ordered pizza from skipthedishes, it was suppose to be deliverd within 30-45minutes. After one hour i called the restaurant they said they have the order ready but skipthedishes courier service is not here yet. So i called the customer care asked them they told me they will get it delivered within 1 more hour and will give me skip credits for the delay and will also talk to the restaurant to remake the pizza. After 1 hour i recieve there email saying skipthedishes courier service needs 30 more minutes. I called skipthedishes again, told them i would like the order cancel and all the customer representative said was “ok if thats what you want”. I mean seriously if you guys can’t provide service why is it even working in this area. And if there was some issues she should have offered me something complimentry because i had to wait for 2 hours. Never using this app, just a waste of time.

Would give zero if I could.. Food showed up an hour late, lukewarm, and overcooked (ordered a medium rare duck dish that arrived well done after sitting in the broth for so long). Customer service along with chat service were completely useless, telling me my family's dinner was ruined due to a "system glitch". Their only remedy was to have the restaurant remake the meal during the prime dinner rush, nothing like waiting even LONGER!!! A so called "manager" then called during my meal to repeatedly utter the words "system glitch" thinking that if I heard this phrase 643 times, I would be more apt to understand their plight. She failed miserably... She then brought out the big guns, telling me she can offer me credits...a whopping $8!!! As this offering further sunk us down the rabbit hole, she offered to "double it" and issue me a $15 credit... so not only was she useless and unwilling to help, she is also terrible at math. Realizing the intellect I was dealing with (picture Bruce Willis negotiating with a terrorist in a Die Hard movie), I decided to cut my losses and end the call. I hope everyone involved in this organization stubs their toe daily.

Why lie?. Skip the dishes dispatchers tend to lie. I order food it says it will take 33 minutes. After a certain time I look on there and it still says it will take 33 minutes. I contact skip and they say the restaurant needs more time. Unfortunately for them the restaurant owner is a friend of mine and I call them and either one of two things are going on. One they haven’t even gotten the order yet or to the order has been sitting there for a long time waiting for a driver who has not moved from his position in a half hour. So I decide to talk to the driver and he said he didn’t get the order till I half-hour later that I ordered it. And customer service at skip the dish would do everything but take responsibility for any order that you submit.

Making me phat. You guys are rockstars. Having said that, I’m not “cut” like I had envisioned to be. My goal was for June but I’m still rocking a 12 pound baby. Not to say I don’t appreciate the convenience, it’s just my impulse takes over and I feel shame. I shall continue to be a loyal client, I just ask you wish me the strength to not have delicious treats delivered right to my door at a convenient rate. Yours truly Burt macklin

Communication between driver and customer. I’m giving this app a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating because this being a great app, it doesn’t give the delivery persons phone number or what kind of vehicle they’re driving. I think it would be beneficial to have their information because they have our numbers and it very awkward asking someone random if they have your food. Other than that it’s a great app and gives you lots of choices to choose from!

There is never not a problem with my order. Extremely late, hair in my food, items missing, driver just messing around and not bothering to even drive in a timely manner, and customer service is terrible because they don’t even try to contact the drivers or restaurants if they’re late, you just “have to wait” and you can’t even cancel the order.

Dysfunctional service, don’t waste your time. I have used skip 5 times before to order food for pickup, and every time, something has gone wrong and only once did I received the right order. The first two times, the app allowed me to order from a restaurant which has been closed for weeks, but the app did not tell me the store was closed until 20 minutes after I paid. 2 other times, the restaurants told me upon pickup that skip has been broken for them so they had to take my order there. And the last time, the only time where I could successfully order something, I was given someone else’s food. There is absolutely no reason to get this app, most restaurants have their own ordering services anyway which I guarantee work better than skip.

Spamming me with promos. I have had my push notifications setting set to not allow promotional notifications since as long as it’s been available. Despite this, I still get promotional push notifications several times per week. I have had an email thread going with Skip support since February. It is now mid July. I’ve been told at least three times that the issue is resolved, but the promos continue. I’ve also been given many canned responses that are completely irrelevant, such as: - suggestion to contact my mobile carrier - suggestion to disable push notifications entirely - instructions on how to click an unsubscribe button in an email - links to Google Play support pages - promises that I am not subscribed to a mailing list Skip support seems entirely outsourced, and they do not understand how the product works at all, nor are they aware of what a push notification is. For greater clarity in case anybody at Skip is reading: I want push notifications enabled so I can get order updates. I do not want Skip promotions in push notifications. I have them disabled. This has nothing to do with a mailing list or my mobile provider. This is 100% entirely an issue on Skip’s end and the fact that it’s been over 5 months since I reported this is absurd.

You are better off getting the food yourself!!!. Ordered from the app and was told an estimated arrival between 30-50 minutes. Honestly hoping it would be closer to 30 but whatever 50 isn’t long to wait. Over 90 minutes later my food was finally delivered and by watching the tracker I could see that an hour of that was the driver bringing it to my house from the restaurant. The restaurant was less that 3 miles from my house. Contacted customer support which apparently is a very overworked bot and was not very helpful. Told I would be receiving credits in my account due to the problem - never happened. All in all, way more worth it to just drive to the store and pick up your own takeout. Save the time and headache.

Circle of Illogic. Skip has a location of Gemma’s Gelateria listed that does not offer delivery as an option at all - never has. However there is a 2nd location of Gemma’s that does offer delivery and have the Skip sign on their door. Skip does not list this correct restaurant. I have alerted Skip to over customer service several times and each time it’s the standard - we are looking into it. I called Gemma and they were also extremely frustrated with Skip. The reason I find it super illogical is that this is lost business for Skip - apparently they couldn’t care less

Horrible app with horrible customer service. Multiple times, drivers using this app have gotten lost, and I mean waaaaay lost, for 30+ minute periods. When you try to file for a refund request, they will try to shortchange you and offer you 50% of an order that they should be 100% refunding. If you try to escalate, you’ll notice that the support chat suddenly stops working. I probably have like 200 orders on this app, and the “failure rate” is probably somewhere around 8-12% for your food arriving on time. Use other apps, pay the premium, and stay clear of this unscrupulous platform.

No option to report food not arriving. I had an order cancelled on me a couple days back and I was refunded with credits, I used them last night to make an order that was never delivered. When I try to report this on the app, it acts like the order never existed. I don’t have the option to select it from the “list” which is just a page that says to select the order and that orders from the last 48 hours will appear here. I want my money back and I hope skip goes out of business for stealing people’s cash.

Directions. I’ve put the same address in every time an every time I order I have to go on the help chat to tell them time an time again they’re going down the wrong street because they have them going down the street an not the avenue I live on. As I explained this for the 6th time the help person gives me attitude saying that I must have put it in wrong. I work in customer service so I try to have patience an be nice but this is ridiculous that I have to go on a help chat every time I order food cause someone doesn’t know the different between street and avenue.

Removed due to promotional spam. Skip is one of the better food delivery apps but recently on my ipad the app kept sending me promotional notifications every day or every other day even though I have them disabled in the app. I’ve tried contacting customer service twice and they’ve told me to disable notifications on my end (on the ipad) when - duh - no, I still want to order food and be notified of any delivery notifications. So I’ve uninstalled the app until they fix this on their end. Maybe I’ll try again in a few months.

Crappy. I had ordered food from McDonalds and they had made me wait for over 30 minutes. I thought ok that can happen and waited. I had ordered around $38 worth of food. The order shows up over 30 minutes after and I open it to see that it is completely messed up. Nothing is the same and it is just messed up. It looked about $16 worth of food at the MAXIMUM. That is literally half of the price! At this point I was done and just wanted a refund. Well what do you know? You would at least think that the customer service would make up for the stupidity but no. I talked with the incompetent customer service and they replied every 10-15 minutes. And now you would think the replies would help but again no. It was absolutely no help to the problem. After some time I was told my refund would go back to my bank account after five days. Five days. Are you serious? Are you kidding me? Are you playing jokes with me? First my order is messed up, then that makes me realize “oh you already had gotten double the worth of food’s price because I have to pay before hand”, then I have to deal with an incompetent customer service and for the icing on the cake, I have to wait five days for my refund to go back to my account. Thanks for wasting my time today! And I loved getting my patience tested and getting scammed! No wonder why post-mates and door-dash has a better rating then you!

Thankful for UberEats. 3 reasons why you should delete this app and download UberEats 1) Once an order is placed they will not let you cancel it even if the order has not been confirmed yet. This just happened to me the customer service agent took ten minutes to confirm my order instead of canceling it after I told her I wanted to cancel it. It’s simple if the order has not been confirmed by the restaurant they must be able to cancel it in a timely manner. I don’t know if it’s lack of proper training or shortsighted thirst for the money but they refuse to give paying customers this option (I paid online with a credit card). 2) Their couriers are told they have to work a minimum of block hours but they only make the tip amount. The Delivery fee that Skip the Dishes charges doesn’t go to the couriers. So you are basically supporting a business that pays less than minimum wage to contractors who also have to pay gas and car fees. 3) Uber Eats works in the entire world making hungry people happy for one reason. They are good at what they do.

Support terrible bad delivery first time using it. Ordering from a restaurant 1 minute away. Received notification driver was on the way. Then on app I see driver turn wrong direction away from red line. There is no way to contact driver. I try the chat support, don’t hear back. Driver heads 15 minutes in wrong direction and then turns back. Food was cold, even though there was a thermal bag, because it had been 30 minutes from pickup. At some point after that a person responds in chat asking for address verification and closes the chat because I’m not in the chat and there is no notifications of chat responses in the app.

Unreliable Delivery, Terrible Customer Service. Placed an order that was supposed to arrive in 35-55 mins. Credit card was charged immediately. 100 mins later the order is not yet delivered, the app shows the driver is ‘picking it up’, but the driver’s car is driving in the opposite direction. Then as I’m writing this review (105 mins after ordering), the app notifies me the food is arriving soon, tracker stops working, but no food. ‘Live Chat’ is a lie, because noone ever responded to me, for over 25 minutes. Now I have to file a fraud charge on my card. Will never use this app again. If you’re reading this, use a competitor app like GrubHub.

Never EVER using this app to order again!!. I’ve had some of the worst food deliveries using this app that I have ever experienced. First off, I’ll order from somewhere that says it takes about 25-35 minutes for delivery, fair enough. Just as I place my order I get a message saying they have “a lot on their plate and check back for updated delivery time” or whatever it says. EVERY SINGLE TIME MY ORDER IS BUMPED TO OVER AN HOUR!!!!!! I was so beyond frustrated last time because the sandwich I order was CLEARLY made at the time I placed the order. So by the time I got it, it was disgusting and inedible. Second, I was given skip ‘credits’ because I complained about said order. So I stupidly ordered from this app one more time and could you guess what happened?! I got another delivery dropped off over an HOUR later….. waste of time and money. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!

Rip off and TERRIBLE SERVICE. Uber Eats is wayyyyyyy better and cheaper!! Skip the Dishes is absolutely a rip off. They charge sooo much for Food where other apps is much less. Terrible Customer Service-Worst Ever. I placed an order then received an email 20 minutes later that my order has been cancelled. I inquired as to why my order was cancelled, after I had been waiting for 20 minutes and that I thought it was ridiculous. I chatted with one of their reps, and was told this: “Thank you for reaching out to us. Upon reviewing your previous orders, it appears that we have consistently failed to provide you with the type of world-class delivery experience that SkipTheDishes prides itself on. We are disappointed that we have failed to provide you with optimum service during each of your orders. We have decided that it is best to remove ourselves from this relationship for the foreseeable future, until we are confident that our services have improved enough to meet your expectations. During this time, we will not be able to process any further orders under your account.” First off, I’ve only ordered from SkipTheDishes one other time over a year ago, so I’ve had one other order, and they have banned me from ordering? For what? For asking why my order cancelled. This is the worst possible customer service. Terrible business model.

Service is deteriorating. Used to love the service by this app. Now I have had an order which never arrived. And another order where the delivery time took way longer than suggested - matched with a driver, then unmatched.

Doesn’t work. App cannot fetch my address. I’ve redone loaded multiple times and every time the app cannot find my address. Tried to log in online and their online website didn’t work either. Have never had a problem with UberEATS.

Customer Service is crap.. Customer service is ridiculous and some of the drivers are thieves. One of the drivers came no change because she had to pay for the order... not even a buck... thief. Skip the dishes doesn’t care.

Awful customer service. Waited two hours for sushi. Still waiting and the customer care says to check the app for up-to-date info on delivery. I asked if there’s a max wait time before refunding as sushi isn’t safe to eat after about 2 hours. Copy and pasted me the same message to check app. Will be moving to another app that takes accountability. I’m used to waiting for delivery but 2+ hours is inexcusable. Especially given the location is 10 mins away.

PLEASE READ THIS - HEALTH CONCERNS. I recently placed an order from Mcdonald's which is a 7-minute drive at most from my place. The order was received after more than 70 minutes and despite countless messages sent to live agents telling them that the order had been picked up 20 - 30 minutes prior to being delivered, I only received pre-written messages like "We understand your frustration". The absolute worst part is that the order was half-eaten, with the glass of coke half empty and a bite taken from the sandwich and there were fries within the sandwich packaging and the overall package was tampered with as well. Skip prides itself on being very cautious for customers during covid, but apparently tampering with orders and delivering a half-eaten meal isn’t serious enough. I have added pictures for proof and I did not even touch this food. Additionally, after making me wait for 70 - 75 minutes for one order, countless conversations with live agents, and a horrid experience border lining on health concerns I was given a refund for my original amount. After wasting all that time and the beyond horrid delivery I am refunded the original amount as if nothing happened and my time waste or the delivery was a common occurrence and nothing serious. This is absolutely disgusting and I hope to inform those ordering or planning to order from skip to help them avoid future concerns for their health with such behavior.

Poor customer service. After several incorrect orders it has now become impossible to get reimbursed for missing or incorrect items. I have had to spend over 2 hours on now 3 separate occasions to get reimbursed for my order March 31 and I still nothing yet. I suggest Uber Eats as a decent alternative.

Worst of the three. 3 of my 5 orders never arrived, so they credited me to force me to buy elsewhere with them. The others with more than an hour late and you can’t follow the driver who makes impossible loops around your location. One second he is 2min away, then 5, the 3, then 15, then you just see him getting further and further away. And when you call the customer service is horrible. Again didn’t happen only once. Consistently horrible.

Use a different delivery app. Driver stole half of my order, contacted restaurant and they confirmed the whole order was picked up. Customer service disconnected the chat without offering any help.

Terrible service. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I never bother submitting app or restaurant reviews even when I don’t enjoy their service. However, my experience with skip the dishes was so incompetent that I felt the need to write this review. It took 3 whole hours from 10:30am-1:30pm to get actual assistance from the support chat on the app/website as to why my food hadn’t arrived and why no one would assist me with the situation - aside from one dismissive “chat” message reply with the assistant leaving the chat twice as I asked for an explanation and resolution. I also waited on the HQ phone line for an hour only to get no answer. I emailed them as well and provided all the screenshots of my conversation with the chat assistant and evidence of the situation and all my attempts to get help. I haven’t received a response yet. For years I was a loyal and repeat customer on skip the dishes but I have officially deleted my app and am switching to Uber Eats.

Charged for a cancelled order. I showed proof via bank statement and they kept insisting they made a credit. Then they cancelled my account. Don’t use these people.

Accident Prone. Twice I ordered from Subway and received the wrong order. Once I ordered from a restaurant that apparently wasn't even open at that hour! (Though they still took my money and didn't say anything until I noticed nothing was happening.) Avoid.

Do not use in the Laurentides, QC. Even if the fact that your delivery can be free, the delay is very long. An order that was supposed to arrive in 30 minutes can take up to 60 minutes. It is casual. The delivery person is very kind all the time, but it looks like the service is limited for now. You better go with DoorDash.

Use Uber eats. The “chat with representive” option doesn’t work so I can’t even dispute my order what a useless app complete waste of time use Uber eats instead

Dishonest Company - Avoid at all costs. Claims you get free delivery when you order over a certain amount, and then charges you for delivery anyway. Criminal.

Use DoorDash or other online delivery services!. Skip is horrible for consumers. Their customer service team is un-helpful and even if it’s a driver issue, comp just half of the bill. Often time your driver “is making another another stop” at another persons place, food then is 20 minutes late and cold as ice. Avoid at all costs!!!

Awful. If I could give a 0 I would. Three times I’ve been given a refund for waiting more than an hour for food delivery that should have taken 10 mins. Customer service is a joke and the app is glitchy and useless.

My Refund. So I ordered some stuff (alcohol if you really need to know) from skip and everything was fine, the payment went through and my order was confirmed. The only problem came from when the driver was delivering my stuff. I had left my phone in my living room while I used the bathroom, and the driver called. My little brother picked up the phone and then after that everything started going down hill. I went outside to meet my driver to get my stuff (alcohol), but the driver wouldn’t give me it because they needed to see my brother. Which made no sense at all, as I’m the person who ordered. Anyways this driver just wouldn’t give me my stuff (alcohol) and he ended canceling my order. I obviously wanted a refund, so I contacted there support team (or whatever) the first two people that I talked to were VERY rude and when I asked them questions, they just wouldn’t answer and would leave the chat. The only reason why I’m giving it 3/5 stars instead of 1/5 is because the third support person I talked to was EXTREMELY! More helpful then the other two. The person answered my questions about the refund and if they could have someone else deliver my stuff (alcohol) but unfortunately they could not have someone else deliverer my order. Will I be using SkipTheDishes again? Probably not, for alcohol. I might use it for actually getting food, but honestly I don’t know. I should mention that the third person told me that my refund could take 3-5 business days. While the other two were saying that I won’t get a refund.

So horrible please read this. Sorry in advance for the long post. Here is my situation. I work at a large hospital/mental health facility/trauma centre. When I work nights (4 shifts per month) I order food and coffee for the emergency staff in the middle of their shifts. I order from McDonalds since everyone seems to like their coffee and wants to chow down on a few burgers and fries between traumas. My normal order is roughly $50-$100 worth of McDonalds. When ordering through Skip, they always give me a disclaimer that McDonalds is in charge of the packaging and accuracy of the order, meaning if anything is missed in the order, it is McDonalds’ fault and not Skip’s. McDonalds is notorious for missing numerous items. When they do this, I use the rating system on Skip and select their option of “Missing Order Items” and let the online Skip representative know what was missing. They have been fantastic at refunding me for McDonalds’ mistakes so I could place a second follow-up order to get the items that the Emergency staff paid for. Fast forward a month or so and my account gets blocked for laying too many complaints and getting refunded/placing follow-up orders too many times. I totally understand that the mistakes are not Skip’s fault; it is McDonalds’ fault. I also understand that Skip has been refunding me out of pocket and cleaning up for the mistakes of McDonalds. But why should I be blocked from ordering for rating McDonalds as bad and simply wanting the items that I (and the Emergency staff) paid for? I tried to dispute this multiple, multiple, multiple times stating that I am not upset with Skip for these mistakes, but they do nothing further to help me. I have never been able to get anywhere in explaining my side. Fast forward again to my next block of nights. I am still blocked on my account, so I create another account with a different email as I just want to get the Emergency staff their coffee in the middle of the night. The order goes through to McDonalds, Skip delivers, McDonalds messes up my order, I lay the complaint to Skip, they refund me, I place the follow up order and get the items that I paid for in the first place. The next night, I get blocked. So I create a new account. Blocked. Third account. Blocked. So finally I get on the phone with Skip and after half an hour on hold I finally get ahold of someone. I try to explain myself and my position in this situation. I try to tell the representative that I am just trying to get the items that I paid for. The rep (who ended up calling me “bro”) told me on the phone that they are “not interested in dealing with people like you anymore” and then hung up on me after 15 minutes of trying to explain myself. Bottom line is I want to be able to get coffee for the emergency staff, but Skip won’t let me order from them anymore because I lay complaints that I have not been getting all the items I paid for. TLDR: I get blocked from Skip the Dishes after complaining about McDonalds screwing up my orders time and time again. I then get terrible customer service on the phone and get hung up on. I become prema-blocked for McDonalds shortcomings and cannot dispute nor explain myself.

Love Them. My wife and I love Skip the Dishes. We live close to the Portmann Bridge and on more than one occasion, our driver has taken the Portmann exit, crossing into Coquitlam and then had to turn around. Skip the Dishes was prompt at contacting their dispatch team and crediting our account. I am more than happy to recommend Skip the Dishes if only for their prompt response and great customer service. The driver was very apologetic and kind. Can't wait to use them again. Great job!!

Great Service. This app is awesome my order was supposed to be here in 38-58 minutes and was here within 25 minutes it was awesome the delivery guy was very nice and polite 100% awesome.

Great Idea, Terrible Execution. Would like an option to have my meal re-delivered when I don’t receive half my order. Yeah I get credits, but when 7 orders in a row are missing my items, skip credits don’t mean much. I’ve had some great drivers, but there have been just as many down right awful drivers. I think knowing the streets of your neighbourhood should be a prerequisite for being hired as a driver. Although it is entertaining watching the drivers circle around over and over on the app.

Multiple poor experiences. I had two poor experiences in a row. I sent comments to support both times with no response. Watching the driver of my food travel away from my house, park and deliver another order for 20 min then deliver my food 55 min after they picked it up was infuriating. When I commented about the delay and sent screen shots to the support team, they said ‘would you like to cancel the order’ i said ‘no I just want my order’, I was met with a response ‘then just wait for it’ and then the support team signed off. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I am not one to complain but then I finally got a response from the the support team 7 DAYS LATER, saying they were disappointed to hear about my experience. Unacceptable. I’ll be using DoorDash from now on. Today got my order hot and quick from DoorDash with no drama. Bye Skip. Deleted!

fix the points reward system. the new ones bad and makes no sense i shouldn’t have to “complete challenges” to get rewards points on a food delivery service app, there was nothing wrong with the points per dollar system and it actually made sense. it’s a delivery app not an arcade game. the one good thing you guys had going was the old point reward system 🤦🏻‍♂️ now it’s gone

Drivers keep going around in circles. Usually use Uber eats but sometimes will use skip if I want to use a visa debit card for payment. The last 3 times I ordered with skip, the drivers are going in the opposite direction of my location. Can confirm that they did not have another order to deliver as service says that they can’t pick up multiples.... waited an hour and a half and even 2 hours on a diff order. Will not use again, use Uber eats if you want you food to show up within the hour

Took my order and my $170. Took my whole order and payment and then told me the restaurant was closed. Cancelled order and have to wait 10 days for a refund. Terrible app and customer service. Definitely won’t use again.

Horrible customer service and drivers steal your food. Driver drove off with our food after we waited an hour and when we spoke to customer service they took another hour just to say we'll issue you a refund like our time wasn't worth anything. On top of that they then only returned it as skip credits instead of back to my card as if I want to use this app again.

Worst experience of my life. Me and girlfriend ordered two pad thai meals through skip the dishes and spend around $50. When the courier dropped off our “meal” it was somebody else’s meal (a $10 item from the same restaurant). We went to contact the restaurant and it was closed. We never got out food. I would rather cook at home and have to do my own dishes then use this app ever again.

Terrible Delivery Times And Never Get Orders Right. I’ve used this app over a dozen times and either the food is ALWAYS cold every time I’ve ordered it or there has to be something wrong with the order like you pay for BBQ sauce and you don’t get it or the courier leaves your drink at the restuarant. I let it slide the first couple of times but when I finally complained they they gave me a small amount of “skip credits” to compensate for the inconvenience. I would recommend UberEats if you’re going to order food for delivery. Although it’s a little pricier, my roommate made an order on it 20 minutes after me and received his food 15 minutes later, whereas I was waiting for over two hours for my order because they were too busy and ended up having to cancel it.

They don’t issue refunds to your card, they only refund you with credits to use towards their app, but i don’t even want to use their app anymore. Delivery is always over an hour even if it’s not busy, and my other delivery apps can deliver the same order in 30 minutes. Customer service is very friendly, but it’s rare their help makes any difference. The wait time for my order went from 16 minutes to 19 minutes. an hour ago it said my food would get to my house in 20 minutes. may be because they are short staffed, so i advice to get the other delivery apps. less options on this app too.

Worst service ever !!!. Order cancelled without reason and no refund very the worst customer service ever, it was closed when i was waiting my order. Driver were turning around my street without delivering my order ! SKIP THIS APP !!!

Bad experience overall. They match you with a courier only after the order is ready so if not many available, your food will sit on the counter of the restaurant forever (mine had been ready for 45 minutes after I ended up having to pick it myself). They said they’d refund the delivery fees and yet I never got any of that money back. Won’t use again.

Terrible service. If I could give no stars I would. An order that says 30-50 minutes even during “high volumes of orders” should not take nearly double the amount of promised time to arrive to the customer. Working in the food service industry myself, I know that if something like this was to happen there should be something the company would be able to do to help the customer out. I’ve been using this app for years an will no longer use it. Better off using Uber Eats or actually picking the order up in person!

Worst service. I placed an order at 7:43 come 9:10 when my food has still not arrived I contacted the company. They said they were looking into this and THEN sent a driver out. By this time the restaurant has been closed and they cancelled my order. Waiting for food for over 2 hours and all they have to say is they deeply apologize. Worst experience with this company ever. No longer going to use them for food delivery.

Incorrectly charged and they refuse to refund me. This is a scam. Their app was supposed to take a discount off the order but then it disappeared after charging me a different amount. Customer service refused to resolve the problem and wouldn’t even give me a future coupon for the terrible first time experience. Don’t use! I had to submit a dispute with my credit card company.

Orders that never showed or orders that I missed by a second. I’ve ordered from numerous places on here but now due to an order never coming or me missing and order they have stopped me from paying with cash. For people like me who don’t like paying with a card all the time this is wrong and you can lose a lot of customers this way.

Bad experience. Took 1.5 hours to arrive and The order was completely wrong. I ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. I received 1 entree that wasnt what i ordered and one of the apps i actually did order. I reached out via chat asking for a full refund. They would only refund the items i didnt received which is ridiculous bc was missing more than half of my order. Beyond frustrating i even had to pay for anything when it was completely wrong and took 1.5 hours to receive my order.

Worst experience yet. I really needed this food to take my meds but after Skip wasted over an 1 hour of my time, not only did I not get any food, I got poor customer service response when I tried to report the already poor/absent delivery service. They said I'd be refunded in 5 business days. So this is what I got as service from Skip the dishes. Hunger, no food and a refund that I can only receive in about 5 years, so thanks for that. 🙃

Something new. Ive came across skip the dishes this year from a friend. and i just want to say this app is awesome. When you open your SkipTheDishes app i love how the blueberry pancakes pops up and disappears. Now that,gets excited to order something else. Lol

Poor poor support. Received a gift card from a friend, downloaded the app and redeemed the gift card only to find out later that they were not in my area. Tried to contact so the money could be credited back to the sender since it could not be used. Went through a few bot exchanges which eventually said they could not do anything because the gift card had been redeemed. So now I still have this gift card that I cannot use. Lesson learned, check your area before redeeming a gift card and skip the app to save your money.

I used to love Skip, but it won’t play nice anymore. I can’t get any order to actually go through anymore. Every order, regardless of card (and yes, there is money in my accounts) gets rejected. I have called all financial institutions several times, and on only a small handful of occasions they were blocking, due to identity theft flagging. Most of the time the answer was they never saw the transaction come through. It has become too frustrating, and I have moved on to Uber and Grubhub

Worst app ever. I have never written a review for an app before but I had to for skipthedishes. Absolutely the worst app I’ve ever used. All of the delivery drivers are clueless and have horrible communication, plus you can’t call them at all. Customer service is even worse. Every time I used this app I get the same nonsense. Please don’t download this app and just use seamless/ubereats. Useless app, useless company

Either driver or algorithm?. I watched for an hour as my driver took my food around downtown Toronto. I’d like to say it was the driver’s error or the routing algorithm’s fault, but I honestly don’t know! You can’t directly message drivers on the app, so you’re stuck talking to customer service folks who apologize but don’t give you any other information. Either way, not a good app design or information flow. Also no refund or anything!

Completely Worthless Service. If I could leave a negative star review, I would. More times than not, my order has been late. Today, the driver just stopped according to the map. Nobody could tell me why, and they said they would contact him and see what was going on or reassign a different driver. Nothing ever happened. They offered me credit on my account. I asked for a refund, because I wouldn’t use SkipTheDishes again even if I were starving to death.

Lacking in all areas. Inconvenience at its best. I’ve been on the customer end as well as the restaurant user and it’s always the middle man. Do not use Skip as a convenience. Use it for a last last last resort. You will die of hunger or your business will suffer because they have more orders than they have delivery opportunities.

Tobyohio. Easy to use, friendly to local vendors, and a novelty. Would recommend a try during those relaxing moments with family or power hours with colleagues. I guess, enjoy is what I am saying.

Waiting. I like skip as an overall delivery service however, I do not like the way they handle mistakes and excessive wait times. As someone who uses the app quite frequently I don’t feel respected as a regular customer and I am less than impressed with the lack of customer service on skip the dish’s end

Downhill. I used to love it and use it multiple times a week although they NEVER deliver in the estimated time i got used to it but about a month ago they started charging an international fee! These are restaurants 10-20 min from my house def in the same city! I notified them about it they offered skip credits but never fixed the problem so whenever i ordered it was the same thing! They know about he issue will give you a hard time about refunding your card and STILL have yet to fix the billing issue. Just deleted the app 👎🏽

The wait times. The wait times are sometimes insaneeee. Three hours just isn’t acceptable. I’m sure the restaurant has to make the food again too. Further to this, I was given skip credits for an order that was incorrect and contained ingredients I was allergic too. I tried to make an order on another day and my orders kept getting cancelled. I was told I could not use skip credits on my account. Why give credits people can’t use? To avoid losing money via refund? Deleted the app. This was the last straw.

Awe full pickup times.. First estimated time was 23 minutes. One hour later it was 24 minutes. I contacted the company several times and they simply responded, sorry for the wait, it’ll be 23 more minutes. Anything else we can do? After waiting another 10 minutes, the driver dropped the pickup apparently and the estimated time of delivery was another 53 minutes since with no driver seemingly available to pick it up. The chat center could do no more than to “notify the driver” and repeat the estimated ETA. At one point, the agent I was chatting with seemingly stopped responding—after 10-15 minutes, I assumed they just ignored my request. In summary, pickup times are awful and the chat assistance is unhelpful and ineffective. I will not be using this company anymore.

Pft waste of time. Downloaded the app, tried numerous times to login using my Facebook account. Went through the steps, seemed like it logged me in since I got the “skip the dishes won’t post in FB in their behalf” left the said screen and still not logged in. Later tried just logging in with my email and password reset. Still won’t log me in. Please fix this app. So it actually works

Horrendous service. I have no idea how there are 4.6 stars on this awful trash service. 9/10 deliveries dont come. The ones that do arrive take 2 hrs or more and are freezing cold. In addition if an order is cancelled (by no fault of your own) instead of refunding your money they take it anyway and convert it into credits in the app without asking if youd like to basically buy a gift card to the awful app. After numerous attempts all I can say is look elsewhere for food delivery.

Getting worse and worse. I remember when skip the dishes first came out it was great, but the wait times have grown so long it would make more sense for me to go the the food place and deliver it to myself. Their customer service is horrible, third time waited half an hour more than the spread of time it should have taken, and their app always says record demand, which means prices should go up or they need to hire more drivers. Neither which I have noticed is happening. Poor poor service.

Don’t trust them. I assumed the app defaulted to my gps but not. The driver went to the address on the order which was incorrect he was five minutes away and asked for our address for his gps so he could deliver now I call him 30 min later and he says they are sending another driver I chat with customer support and they blame me for not updating the address with them even though the driver called me. Won’t be using them again

Love it!. I’m obsessed with using this app! My food arrives warm and the drivers have been efficient and friendly. I only had one so-so experience, where the driver could have been nicer and the food could have been better, so just avoiding that restaurant in the future. I was really surprised by some of the complaints, I’ve been recommending to everyone. Great experience for me!

Heads up! International Service Charge if Ordering in US. I was a weekly customer who looked forward to our weekly treat of ordering in.😌 I noticed because their headquarters are in Canada, I am being charged an international fee from the States. This added fee, along with delivery fee and tip makes the cost insane! Do not recommend- the customer service is also poor and ineffective. So many other delivery choices out there!

Friendly delivery person. Everything else sucked.. I went to place an order and the app told me that there was a high volume of people ordering and delivery was unavailable. So I closed the app and ordered from somewhere else. Next thing I know I got a notification saying my courier was almost there. So I paid twice as much as I expected and got double the food. What a waste. I tried the chat for help function and she didn’t understand the problem at first. Then said they’ve never seen that error before so they could only refund half my order.

Charges foreign transaction fee. For some reason I’m being charged foreign transaction fees. It’s being processed in Winnipeg even though I live in NY. I’ve contacted customer service to fix 3 previous times. But this process takes forever. You can only chat and waiting for responses takes up to 20+ minutes. Just a wast of time. There are plenty other apps and services that I wouldn’t bother with skip the dishes.

Worst customer service.. I’ve had issues with receiving the wrong or missing items and customer service never refunded or offered replacements for those items. It was always nothing can be done, better luck next time. After the fourth time I finally deleted the app and will use other apps with better customer service.

Worst Customer Service I Have EVER Experienced. I ordered a gift card nearly a month ago. I never received a confirmation email, the recipient never received the gift card, and yet my card was charged. I’ve been emailing customer support for over two weeks now and nothing has been resolved. Do not order from this company.

Worst app ever. The driver literally stole my food, and that’s not a joke. I placed an order for delivery and when the app told me that my food had been delivered, I went to my door and was surprised because the order was not there. I told them the order never arrived, and chatted with an incompetent support team that had no idea what it was doing and could not reach the driver because the driver wasn’t answering and stole my food. Worst app.

Lost $35. Tried changing the address on the app and never went through, called sustainer service and they never changed the address in time then called saying the order was cancelled because the change is address was out of range and I couldn't get my money back. Although the address that I tried choosing in the first place was closer to the restaurant. Need a better system!!

I feel very disrespected. I ordered from this app the food came less than a hour it was my first time ordering from the app and food place the food was HORRIBLE!! The service from this app is extremely awful the delivery man didn’t give me ANY of my change then when I proceeded to inform the skip chat group helpers they where no help I honestly feel really disrespected the delivery man name is Patrick and Patrick shouldn’t continue doing that to people!

Horrible customer service. Although I have had very good experiences with this service in general, the behavior of support staff when things go wrong matters a lot. I just got through with a two-hour ordeal very similar to the other one-star review where their app’s faulty data was taken over my word as well as the word of the restaurant that my order was never picked up. I feel gaslit, and that’s not what anyone wants from a food ordering app or a customer service rep.

Worst Customer Service : Rude, untimely, and not helpful. I used the referral link from my friend to sign up, but got no promotion so I decided to contact support. The first two times I contacted them they literally lied to me saying they applied the promotion just to end the conversation. The second time especially was terrible because the guy was rude. The 3rd time had me waiting for mins for every response message and still no promotion. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Liars. Had a 20$ coupon that kept “disappearing in checkout” and I’m already low on my luck with money, being told to make a full purchase and they would be able to reapply/apply it to my next order only to find out two purchases later that they won’t because it’s “expired”. What’s the point in giving me coupons/ vouchers when you won’t even let me use them before they expire??? Fix your checkout system because it’s honestly ridiculous.

Drivers are terrible. I live on campus and I made directions very easy and specific to not get lost. Only 2 out of 14 drivers has actually came to the right spot and not made me walk a mile away just to grab “delivery.” The recent courier kept saying “I’m in this building, this one.” Like what does that even mean especially since I live on a university campus. I’m taking the tip off every order and tipping in person from now on because if they are bad I’m not tipping anymore

Great app just one problem now. I order from skip the dishes all the time. It usually goes very well no problems with things like the driver being late or never showing. What I do have a problem with is that now my cards that I have always used to order from skip the dishes keep getting declined now regardless of how much I’m spending to try to get food

Won’t give refunds if they screw up. I ordered something for my girlfriend and the order was completely wrong on my first purchase even though I had receipts proving the order was completely wrong. I requested a refund and they decided it didn’t warrant one. Go install Uber eats or DoorDash because they hold you financially responsible for their mistakes plus you’ll get better prices.

Fast & Delicious. I work long days, sometimes I don’t have time to leave, and this app make it simple and easy to order lunch. The couriers are friendly, their fast, and the foods always hot. A+

Terrible customer support and irresponsible. My account got hacked and they used my saved credit and debit to purchase food although I informed them that the order is fraud they didn’t prevent it and delivered the order and charge me the funny pat is I am in Toronto And the order was in Montreal. They didn’t even care. Just a fully delayed customer support chat. No phone no responsibility. It’s a shame

Refund. It seems to be very hard to get a refund when they mess up it takes way too much time and effort for their shortcomings

Inconsistent drivers, bad customer service. Ordered Indian food and, after 30 minutes got a notice that the restaurant was “busier than usual.” (Understandable.) Once I finally got a notice that the courier was on her way, I expected the food to arrive soon. Instead I watched as the courier (whom I had already tipped) drove all around the city, getting farther from the restaurant. I reached out to customer service and they were completely unhelpful. They seemed annoyed to even have to deal with me. It’s now been close to two hours and still no food. I’m moving on to Uber Eats.

Dinosaur BBQ Best Restaurant on Skip. We have ordered a lot at home and at work. We have ordered from various restaurants. So far, Dinosaur BBQ was THE only restaurant to get everything 100% correct. Everything was perfect!!! It does not get any better than that!!!

App Issues. In recent times, when opening the app, I get an error message then has me sign into my account. It keeps signing me out. Otherwise, when I’ve had issues with my order, Skip employees have always come through to help. More stars once I don’t have app issues anymore.

Bad experience. If you are staying in a hotel, especially if you’re from the US in CA, do yourself a favor and use UberEats. The drivers will say they completed an order, if your phone number isn’t CA they won’t call, and you’ll have to deal with customer service and an empty stomach. I was luckily refunded my money, but this app puts a lot of faith in idiot drivers (I’ve driven for Uber and done pizza delivery myself, not an elitist). I’m grateful for my refund but overall the service is just bad. Not going to use it again.

Horrible service. A friend and I were both told we were no longer having our orders processed from our accounts on the app because of “too many complaints” and refused a refund until I emailed them telling them my food wasn’t edible and my orders kept being canceled and they wouldn’t tell me why, I finally received a refund but customer service can be very unhelpful and drivers unprofessional I once had a 7 year old boy come to my door and many non-received drinks .

Easy and affordable. Placed an order online and received the food fast. I was especially surprised at how low the delivery cost is, considering other delivery places charge $7+ and this was $3.50. Will use again!

Customer service utter trash. Food was nearly three hours late at which point I decide to grab the food myself. Then was barred from cash option for payment. Called customer service. Both employee and manager were rude and unapologetic and didn't care about losing a customer. For a service related industry their customer service is utter trash. Consider hiring people that care about your company.

Skip the dishes are the best!!!!. I ordered grub hub once and Never Never again . My service with skip the dishes had been nothing but professional. When something goes wrong immediately I am taking care of. Great service love love love it!

Great app and service, needs iPad support. Huge selection of restaurants in my area. Drivers always seem courteous and prompt. I love the real time tracking feature. The only thing preventing me from rating it 5 stars is the lack of iPad support. My iPad lives in my living room, and most of my ordering is through it. I’m sick of seeing a scaled up version of the phone app. This app would really shine with iPad support.
