Good app but critical flaws. The insistence that this app must ALWAYS track your location even when you are not using the app is disturbing. A simple fix would be to track location while using the app, yet that is not allowed by these developers. Also, as easy as it is to accept an offer is equally just as hard as it is to cancel an accepted order. Canceling an order can not simply be done through the app. You are forced to call support which can take you anywhere from 10-20 minutes to resolve. Doordash and Uber Eats make it simple to reject an accepted offer irrespective of the reason (food not ready, car problem, emergency, etc.). These apps ought to minimize distractions as often one is driving and not force you to jump through hoops like the aforementioned concern.

Replace the slide option to accept orders in iPhones. It is so annoying that every time I try to accept the order or use slide option for (accepting the order, ready to drive, etc.), it drags me to the home screen since this is a feature in iPhones (sliding screen takes you back in iPhones). Kindly replace your slide for option for everything to some other better alternative. That will allow users to have seamless experience in using this slide option for everything, especially in iPhones.

Troubleshooting problem. I signed up and i have account on skip app. But every-time i need to sign up, after that app say you have major updates so i need to go app store but app is already new updated there so again i go back to skip app and again i need to sign up in app. So every day i waste my 5 minutes for app open and sign in. Please fix the problem.

It has pros and cons.. Pros - pay is slightly better than Uber Eats and DoorDash. App shows exact customer address before accepting order (this is important as some customers life in addressed which are nearly impossible to find a parking at and they usually don’t tip, so u know which orders to avoid/accept) Cons - Customer service doesn’t always understand basic English for when drivers initiate chat for help, it requires shifts (Uber eats you can start whoever you want) - which this may be because they don’t want too many drivers at any given time, this can be solved by not accepting new drivers and opening more hours for current drivers. I’m in Mississauga and most restaurants complain that skip orders sit on their counter for long until a driver arrives. Customer who live in townhouses/buildings/condos should be charged a premium fee for the extra hassle ($2 hours a extra pay for driver)

Order doesn’t appear. After downloading the new app from IOS app store, I am getting a bug that as long as my app is open I can see the orders which come. But if the app is closed I don’t get any kind of notification. I am automatically paused.

SERVICE LITERALLY SUCKS, go work for other apps.. Ordered a bag in order to deliver with them, couple days later I asked for cancellation and refund since the order wasnt even processed yet…. 4 FKin MONTHS LATER THE BAG ARRIVED. THEY NEVER REACHED BACK TO ME. FKK THIS COMPANY

People getting shift through shift cather. what action is skip is taking in fort Mcmurray who getting shifts through shiftcather software. lot of full time dasher getting only 4 hours shift for one day. when skip will take the appropriate action to stop the shiftcatcher users.

Couldn’t start my scheduled shift. I picked up an open shift and when I wanted to start it, I couldn’t see that in my scheduled shifts anymore. I tried to contact the support but got no answer. I called the support team, they told be me sign out and sign back in again or try restarting the phone, I tried everything and nothing helped. I called them back and they said they can’t help with that, I would have to chat with the support team and I said they hadn’t replied. So they told me wait and I didn’t got any reply and wasted an hour and a half.

Disappointing Experience Due to Shift Grabbers. I’ve been using Skip the Dishes for a while, but recently, the experience has gone downhill. The biggest issue is the overwhelming number of drivers using AI shift grabbers to snatch up shifts. Every time shifts are released, they disappear within 0.5 seconds, making it nearly impossible for anyone without these tools to catch any shifts. This creates an unfair environment for those of us who rely on this app for work. Skip the Dishes needs to address this issue and ensure fair access to shifts for all drivers. Until then, it’s a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Hackers anywhere. Lots of shift grabbers! Goodluck on getting any shifts now even you put your availability I only get 1 to 2 shifts a week even tho I tried putting everyday still nothing. And whenever shifts pops up less than 1 sec it’s gone. Tried for 2 hours atleast 10 shifts went up and all of it gone instantly the moment you tap it it’s already taken what a shame.

worst driving app. There is a bot system used by many drivers and the system has been hacked there are no shifts from last two months. If anyone tries to get the shift it is gone in milliseconds which impossible. I am a full time driver from last four years and never had such problem until march 2023 - still on going Please solve this issue or many of the drivers will switch with others app.

bad app. i feel bad for those using this. if you werent disappointed yet, you will. Takes like 2-3 hours just to make 20$. Sometimes you don’t even make it that far because theres barely orders with skip.

Worst customer service ever.. Skip is having one of the worst customer service experience, i had app issues and contacted support they send me bunch of links and ended the chat session most if all they don’t even care whats kind of issue youre having.

App freeze. I have a worst experience with courier app and their staff. My app is freeze from last one week. And from that day i am sending mails to them every day. They are still unable to fix the issue.

Courier service. Skip the dishes used to have a good courier service. Now they are surprisingly unhelpful and don’t seem to care much about their food delivery drivers. Door dash and Uber eats are much better at taking care of their drivers.

They’ll never change. I’ve been on the platform for over five years. There’s been problem after problem after problem that they finally fixed overtime. I can’t even begin to list all the issues. First of all let me just state. It’s the only delivery platform that doesn’t have its own app. all right there that’s a problem that’s a red flag. Drive me nuts ever since the beginning of time if you completed delivery the delivery within the app and drive away from the customers destination you are now obliged to call support to close the delivery Number two here’s a real fun thing whenever you go and see that there’s a shift available you get excited and then click on it and then it tells you it’s not available anymore Number three and my favourite all-time and it’s been there since the beginning “are you still there” do you know how many thousands of times that I have gotten the message am I still here yet? I’ve had no notification for a delivery. I hear the sound and it tells me “are still there” suggesting that I had missed a delivery. September 2024 skip gets to put its official ORANGE colour on this wonderful app. Wonder why it took so long. Guaranteed they won’t let you disable “allow to track” at all times even when you’re not using the app. Oh and maybe I can stop getting that wifi message… hell no! Lamest of all 3 delivery apps

Open shift Tab Glitch. Open shifts are not displayed while scrolling down the OPEN SHIFT TAB - we have to go to my shift than come back to open shift to look for it. What is this going on.

Don’t pay for return orders. I was delivering alcohol order and customer was unavailable so i waited around 20mins and support team told me to return the order to store after waiting so long. They promised me to pay full amount of order plus return to store. Even after 6weeks and trying multiple emails they never paid my money for wasting my time and efforts. After 4weeks they calculated around $4 for order but the actual arder was more than $8 plus return to store. So never return any order to store they will never pay its a scam from skip. And there support team is worst.

Not worth it anymore. Used to work with them from 2019-2021. Was great. Would do 50-150$/per 3h shift. Now I've worked during the rush hour thursday, friday, saturday. Got 6 orders in total. Im parked in middle of everything, downtown montreal. There's literally hundred of thousands of condos, at least 1000 restaurants. How can i not be matched to even 1 order?? Adios

Poor app with poor service. This app doesn’t update location properly of courier Most of time Delivered the order and move to another location or zone And it’s already more then 45 minutes And app still shows on old location Then have to have drive more than more kilometres to pickup the order Door dash and Uber Their GPS SYSTEM and updating location system much better then SkipTheDishes

BAN Shiftgrabbers ❌🙅‍♂️⚠️. Impossible to pick up open shifts. People are using shift picking apps. They have been out for years now, but still no action from SKIPTHEDISHES team. Very unprofessional.

Terrible. From the app to the platform to the support. Terrible service.

Location. Also if the location is a little bit off of the restaurant we don’t get reimbursed if we wait long periods of times and that’s not right

App issue. there is a bot people are using to grab shifts and skip is doing nothing about bots. extremely disappointing.

Chat employees are dumb. App does not allow us to talk to agents on phone and on chat they act or maybe they are so stupid we are left with no help from them. And they even lie to us sometimes just so they can end the chat quickly.

Glich. Extend shift never work ever if there is option to extend shift. No proper mapping system or message centre.

Shifts. I can not pick the shifts in the app. Because people are using paid bots to pick the shifts. It is disappointing that we are not getting shifts. Please make it like uber where we just need to click online and then they start to give us orders. U can add time limit like 12 hours a day. Please work on this.

No Shifts. Very horrible experience with SkipTheDishes as a driver no open shifts only people who use grabber nowadays they are getting shifts. Emailed their courier team but got no response. Disappointing

Garbage application. Garbage app very very very very garbage support system poor education system

People Renting this app for $$$ and shift bots grabbing shifts. No security features attached to skip account. As there’s no new vacancy available people who already have skip accounts and not working anymore on skip network, “ renting their login id and password for $$$ every week” , sold to international students and refugees who can’t work legally more than 20 hours; buy access to skip account and working 70-80 hours per week. People with alcohol delivery not following procedures to check ids of customers and without id deliver alcohol. Shiftbot grab all the shifts in advance as people who use shiftbots app pay every week 70-100 $ for it, so honest drivers working with skip for over 5-7 years not getting any shifts. Skip the dishes was usually the best gig app, going downhill.

No shifts!!. No open shift available nowadays most of the drivers using bot to pick open shifts skipthedishes doing nothing for that. I would have give them zero star rating if option available.

Status update. This app glitches a lot but customer service likes to blame the customers phone. I have to reach out to the chat function each time I have arrived at the pick up spot, leaving for delivery, arriving at pick up spot and finally delivered status. Each time I have to message customer service for them to update my status. Too many issues lead to time wastage and time is money. Fix the issues!

Hahaha. How is the app at 4 stars, I’ve scrolled the reviews for 20 minutes and they are all one and two star. If you want to know the real reason why this app doesn’t work anymore, just take a look at how many people have flooded Canada since 2022, and what job those people most likely do when they get here. Don’t know why skip just kept hiring and hiring and hiring. Drivers couldn’t switch zones but people kept being hired. You know how to fix the bot problems? Just let the best drivers work whenever they want. Simple. The guys running three apps taking 60 min to deliver an order, will be filtered, the bots will be relegated to the riff raff and the best drivers would need to maintain exceptional stats to keep working. Seems to work on door dash…

Worst customer support ever seen. We can only connect with the support when we have an order. Even if the support people cancels the order... Boom!!! We can never reach them

Unfair. My account is deactivated they say that I didn’t delivered the orders. I have delivered every order on time and with instructions . I have to swipe parked at the customer when I reach the place why will I not deliver so many orders after reaching the customer as they are saying. Totally unfair with me. And they are not listening to my side at all. What if the customers want money refund after receiving the order. This is no basis to deactivate account. They don’t consider the drivers side at all. UNFAIR…..

Tips. Why skipthedishes reduce tips option not good

Problem in logging in. I am trying to login but unable to do it, every time when I get the link to reset it but am unable to do it. Worst app

Too many glitches. Drops the order when actively engaging with the app, excepts you to grab your phone while driving because “you haven’t moved in awhile” being stuck in traffic. Lost 2 orders in 10 minutes costing me $20 in gas so just dropped my shift as there are too many bugs as of recently. Orders randomly disappear, the restaurant being late only pays you $2 for being 40 minutes late, skip is beginning to not be worth it. My scheduling for them despite being free everyday is 1 day a week on average I get a shift which doesn’t even pay the bills to do it

Wrong location and incorrect information about customer. Dear App management, Please maintain correct pin location most of the time restaurant location and customer location is completely different as seen in the app Orders are not getting as per the kilometers Increase minimum delivery charges Thank you

Worst chat representatives. The people that are supposed to help in the chat dont care at all. Anytime you need actual assistance they just drop the chat or just give generic replies which doesnt solve anything and then they leave the chat. Everytime you try to tell them about a issue they just drop the chat and a new person will answer how can i help as if you were talking to nobody. This system is annoying and irresponsible. Dont waste your time with industry like this. Its not worth your time. To spend 1 hour to make less than minimum wage.

Full of buggy app. - Application not working after new look update. - Application not working on WiFi, what if someone’s date is finished and want to work on hotspot? - Application not working with Apple CarPlay. - sometimes Navigation show wrong location and distance. Whenever I asked to the support they have standard answer “you will get paid according to the distance but at the end will get paid what order showing amount. - I don’t know they are testing their application before final release. - Notifications sound is not working, due to this thing we missed some opportunity.

Shift Grabber. Skip has done nothing to deal with shift grabbing apps out there since last 3 years. Or is it that Skip has some partnership with the shift grabbing apps and make money through it? If not then why aren't you solving that problem issue? Are you not capable to control your own application?

Fraud. They are running some kind of fraud they’ll be asking you to buy their bags and pay for background check and will not activate your account even after everything is cleared.

Worst experience. Whenever we need help or assistance we are enable to reach them even request call back for emails they never respond back

Online Live Support. Your online support is a trash

App errors. It is worst app and there is no help line number or support from the skip team. I had taken open shift of an hour and now I am unable to end that shift and it is like my app screen has been freezed and there is no help from skip team. This app is really a thrash. I will also post on social platform regarding this awful experience.

APP PROBLEMS. The app now freezes after completed orders have to hit X to start back up app, never had to before , nooooooo push notification , orders disappear after matched , there are many problem just revert back to old app or FINALLY fix ALL THE ISSUES!!!

Problem right now. It’s currently 6:45 pm, I have a shift in supppsed to be doing from 5pm-9pm, but my app is glitched out. It won’t let me end my previous shift which was 3:15-4:15 and it still says I’m on this shift, no matter if I delete the app, log out, nothing. And because of this, it keeps telling me I’m missing my shifts, when I’m not, it just won’t let me start my current shift because it’s stuck on the old one. Need fix please, whole app is messed now and I’m not getting orders because of this

terrible support. customer service for drivers is the worst. They never give you real support. They deceive and do not provide true support In the end they say that you have to send an email, which is also designed to never help you or provide support or solution to a situation.
