This app. This is the worst app I ever seen you can’t find a doctor on the providers search can’t see ID card and the worst of all the app developer don’t do anything to correct the issue .

This app doesn’t work. Can’t log-in. Tired a hundred of times. Keep popping up error message. I guess the insurance cost is so high because they spent and invested in App like this. Can’t even log-in so Whats the purpose of this App. Look at the one star review lol it’s 2023 and simple problem have not been fix. Just forget it.

A lifesaver (sort of). There’s nothing perfect in this world, but this so is soooooo much easier to use and more comprehensive than Aetna’s website. Plus, it’s so nice to be able to open the app and have instant access to everything I need. The old way required me to go online, open my browser, type in the website address, and type in my log-in details and then have to navigate through one of the worst websites I have ever been on. This here requires one tap and I’m on because I use Face ID. Even if I didn’t have Face ID I would just have to enter my 4 digit PIN number and voila I’m in!

Terrible. I wasn’t even able to log in! It just stayed buffering and wouldn’t let me in whatsoever! Immediately deleted the app, what a joke. Do better by the people you provide for. What a weak attempt at trying to make it easy for people when all you’ve done is make it 10x harder. Ridiculous

Terrible. I can’t search for a provider because of all the glitches.

This App does NOT work. I was advised by an Aetna rep to download the app so that I could have my member information even if I didn’t have my card. The app will not let me register. I fill out all of the required information however the “next” button is still greyed out. All I can do is cancel. This is extremely inconvenient.

Garbage, but probably better than their website. Barely usable, very slow, not enough useful things to click on, automatically times out after 5 mins of “inactivity” like when I’m trying to look at the member handbook PDF

Worst app I’ve ever used. I’ve deleted and reinstalled 5-6 times, logged in and logged out and it refuses to load anything. The only thing that pops up is “request header field too large”. If I didn’t need this stupid app I wouldn’t be wasting my time get it together. Worst insurance with the worst app, makes sense.

Crashes 100% of the time.. Haven’t even been able To use this app because it has never ever worked for me as it’s always crashing. Annoying.

Unusable App. Unable to login. Tapping “help” produces a “page under construction”. Some security questions are useless because they are too long to fit in the spinner control. What an embarrassing app.

Even worse. So I deleted the app and redownloaded it hoping it would let me log in, and even after that, as soon as I open the app it sends me to a broken captcha on the browser. Doesn’t even let me try to log in. So much for deleting all the info in the app when deleting it. I’m thinking that is some type of HIPA violation.

Useless. After setting it all up, I cannot log in. An “error” pops up and the app will not let you log in. I should of checked the reviews before I downloaded the app but it seems to be a continuous problem. Waste of time!

Useless just as the website. I have been trying to file a claim for months. This is a completely useless app. None of the links work just as the website. Such a disappointment just like all health insurance in America.

Worked..then didn’t. Downloaded the app and it worked for a week, then I got an “error” message on anything I clicked on, disappointed because I had a different Aetna app which worked better than this one, I wonder why this app doesn’t have the same quality.

Horrible app. This app doesn’t work at all. Every time you fill in information it doesn’t allow you to continue on to the next page or doesn’t allow you to find providers. It’s not efficient for people needing to access this for their HEALTH!!! Also, they don’t update the list of providers. I’ve had a horrible time finding a PCP and called the hotline 5 times trying to figure this out. I hope this changes for the better. It’s sad.

Terrible app. You know they don’t care about your health when they don’t even have a functioning phone application. God help us all.

Worked for me. I just wanted to see if my Health Care was still active...It worked fine for me I had no problem logging in, there is so many bad reviews I almost didn’t download the app but I’m glad I did. I think they updated it and fixed the problems.

State?. Downloaded the app but it didn’t have my state New Jersey but I am cover because I have the card and everything. I don’t understand why New Jersey is not an option can this be fix?

It’d be a great tool, but it never works. It looks so helpful, but I can’t get past the error messages. I have deleted and redownloaded. Restarted my phone. And the app is up to date. Ughhh annoying.

Made by imbecile. The imbecile who developed this application made it impossible to verify captcha on the first log in - the application opens a new browser window where you CANNOT click captcha- it’s not working. I would fire the whole IT team who developed this - honestly first time ever I see such poor app at Apple store

Read the reviews. I still downloaded the app after the horrible reviews and guess what? It worked for me I don’t understand what the issue for every one else was. As long as you’ve Medicaid through Aetna Better Health there should be no issues!

Nope. The app is pretty useless, nothing is updated. And I can’t find any of my insurance benefits information.

Completely Worthless App. This has probably been the biggest disappointment that I have ever had from an app on the Apple store. I looked forward to this app before Aetna took over Illinicare. The app does not work at all. Every single search for physicians turns up a result of no results found. The only way to find any physician, medical group, or any other medical service is to go to the website. In the Iphone app the application will not even open. In the Ipad app, the app does not function at all. The search and other functions are not working correctly. Unable to change providers in the app or make other changes. If I could I would give it a zero stars but that is not possible.

Horrible App. So the app used to work when I first downloaded it. Now, it won’t even load to the login screen. I’ve deleted and reinstalled with no success. One time it did go to the login, but it continued to “load” something and wouldn’t let me login at all. App is pretty much worthless

Annoying. Can’t search for providers by the time i get to the second page it will pop up with an error message oops something went wrong. Even have tried on the browser. Needs to be fixed ASAP!

One star only because Zero isn’t an option. I read the reviews over the past 3 years about not being able to log in or use the app. I stupidly though “surely, by now, a big company like Aetna has fixed this problem. Surely they wouldn’t continue to push an app that is useless and nonfunctional.” I was wrong. This is THE most useless app found anywhere on the internet! Don’t download, unless you like useless things.

Could not even create an account. I went through the process over and over again and still have never been able to login to the account I created. Why even have an app that can’t create a login properly??

Have not been able to log in. Everything I try to log in it like glitches and goes back to my Home Screen on my phone then I have to go back to the app and I still haven’t been able to see anything . I just wanna see if my daughter was added to my insurance .

App crashes 95% of the time. Soon as you get past the sign in screen and you see the home page it takes you out of the app, so you have to relaunch the app and it does it over and over again very frustrating because you aren’t able to get the medical services you need.

Horrible app. App does not work once you create an account you will forever get log on error messages every time you try to log in. A shame because this app is needed if you do not have a physical card. Development team should of put out better content like they did with the regular Aetna app. This just goes to show that when you have Medicaid you will always get the short end of the stick

app crashes every time I log in. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling. Im on the latest version. I’m not sure why it never works. I had the exact same app in Maryland and it worked great. Now that I have a new username/Virginia account it never works.

Don’t download - not useable. I unfortunately did not read the reviews and downloaded this app. I was excited to get organized and have everything at my finger tips. I was able to register and create a login. THATs IT! I tried to log in and received a error message. I patiently waited thinking it was a issue that would be resolved quickly and tried again. Still nothing. I finally went back to read the reviews and sure enough the same issue was reported back in November. It’s now January and it’s still not working.

Useless app. It’s easy to create an account on here but the app is pretty much useless. No image of my card appears, benefits page doesn’t show up-only “error.” Maybe since it’s a Medicare app, the company doesn’t care about putting resources in to make it better, because the non-Medicare Aetna app has great reviews. But Aetna Better Health members aren’t able to use it.

Does not load. Just downloaded the app and it does not load when I open the app. I receive a blank white screen with the Aetna logo on top and that’s all. Deleted the app then redownloaded and same thing. Please fix this.

Worst app ever!. This app doesn’t work, it glitches every single time I try to search for a provider and even if it loads there is no way to read any information because it glitches over and over and over again!!! I am so frustrated!!! I needed to find an urgent care for my sick daughter and I had to try at least 20 times going back and forward!! How is this App helpful?

Never works. Always says request header fields too large, fix this! This has been a consistent issue with this app.

Not an error: USELESS. Error error error.... that’s it. I created/registered and that’s all I was able to do without getting an error message every time I try to click member services or find provider etc. I see this has been an issue for a long time based on other reviews that I didn’t even think about reading beforehand, since it’s not the type of app where you’re trying to find the best one, it’s literally your only option! And yes, I know the difference between regular Aetna & Aetna better health, so I am using (error; failing) the correct app. Why have an app that doesn’t work?

The worst app. I’ve been trying to log in for a week but no luck and unfortunately the same thing with the browser. I had Aetna international previously, the app was great not like this garbage at all. it’s definitely not the same group of developers. I guess Aetna don’t want to spend on good developers to get this app running. No wonder 1.7 out of 5 rating.

Doesn’t Work!. This app needs major bug fixes! Doesn’t even let me login! I used to have Aetna PPO and had to switch to Medicaid, and the difference between the regular Aetna app and this one is terrible. Not fair to give other Aetna members better access to their health plan! This app needs to be completely reworked!

Why tease me?. The title is related to the fact that it has an option to add my ID Card to my Apple Wallet, when I tap on it, it gives me a black blank document named “showAppleWallet” which I’m sure is the codes directory name. It doesn’t work. Therefor, I can’t even use the feature it encourages me to use. This app has been giving me issues from the start and I actually just logged into for the first time in months. What a welcoming haha.

This app does not function. I never had problems with my Blue Cross Blue Shield app- this app literally does not function. For days I’ve been trying to sign in and it just loads for an infinite amount of time. Garbage. I should also add that yes- I am a member.

Not usable yet. Captcha launches in random browser window then The authentication signal never makes it back to the application. so essentially I can’t log into the application because it’s coded like a web browser experience outside of the web browser. please rewrite your application to be more user-friendly and don’t tell us to call customer service to handle something so trivial.

No return calls from support for two months. Can’t log in or even get a reset after the initial set up. Been in IT 20 years. Promised a call and email link from supervisor yesterday. Didn’t happen. Just wasted space on my phone

What’s the Point. This app is useless. You can’t send messages, you can’t look up medications to see if they’re covered. And it’s constantly crashing and just kicking me out completely…can you please fix it Felix…

Possible error fix. I ran into the same problem as everyone else getting an error when logging in. This is how I fixed mine. 1. Create account on app 2. Try log in on app; error 3. Go to Aetna Medicaid website 4. Use log in you just created on the website; login successfully 5. Close app and open it 6. Log in on the app with no error Should work for everyone.

When it actually works it’s fine. Sometimes i can’t log in because it wants to to verify through captcha and the verification uses a computer based website clearly not meant for phones. Kinda silly for a phone, if it does that ( and it’s totally random on it it will or won’t) i simply can’t log in period and that is very irritating. Also I’m sure there is a comment below that says this exact same review so if i get a developer response saying you’ll work on feedback or something. If you don’t work on it, it makes your reply a bit hollow , I’m afraid

How can Aetna not fix this.... With nearly all reviews relating that clients cannot log in, coupled with a 1.3 rating, Aetna needs to rethink the relationship with whoever they contracted with to develop this worthless app. As others have said, the login does not work via the app although the same credentials work online

Will not let me login. I enter my login information and it does not allow me to log in, it does not register that it is incorrect or prompt me to locate an clacking... just as if I entered nothing. No new page or anything. I log in online (Safari, as well as other Aetna apps) with my login info just fine. But this one, a dud.

No New Jersey registration Support. I have Aetna Better Health from New Jersey and this app nor the website does not have the choice listed for New Jersey Members to register.

It worked for me.... I wasn’t going to install this app due to the bad reviews but I figured I’d give it a shot. To my surprise I was able to create an account and login and when I logged in, all my account info was there and accurate. So, apparently the app is fixed or maybe people that tried using this app in the past did not have the type of insurance that this app is for. I have Medicaid and this app is just for Medicaid (or state funded) insurance. If you have regular Aetna through your employer, THIS IS THE WRONG APP. This app is only for Medicaid members. Hope this review helps!

Bad company. Aetna should not be a insurance company! It will be better for you to pay full price and go to the ER, then to have this company because you will pay full price at your regular Dr visit.
