Gorgeous, thoughtful Bible reading experience. I remember when I found out about new NeuBible on Twitter, former Twitter employee leading a team of developers focused on bringing a beautiful smooth Bible reading experience to iOS. Not that the Bible needed anything on top of what it was, but that it deserved the respect of a great and thoughtful design in the modern smart phone era. I bought the app the day that it came out (this was back when it was a paid app), and I beta tested the iPad app as well. It is my absolute favorite Bible app, and I recommend it to everyone who asks me what Bible app I use. I'm thrilled to support the team of developers who wants to provide a great experience to the Christian community, and sees the value in creating a great Bible reading experience for my iPad and iPhone. Thank you guys so much for the hard work!

Incredible. Definitely the best you will find. I'm so tired of all the other Bible apps and their social functions that bombard you when you open them (looking at you, YouV...ion). You won't be disappointed by this clean, fast, text-focused Bible app. Download it now!

Awesome. This is an absolutely incredible bible reading app. I especially like the formatting after pasting an item that you've copied, which includes the translation name in a very clean way. However, after the most recent update I have completely stopped using it. Initially I loved the speed; I was able to highlight, copy and paste with no delay, but now after the update it takes about 7-10 seconds for the highlight feature to work, therefore much of what I loved about it has been rendered impractical. I pray your team will get this app back up to speed; I'll be using it again immediately once the issues are taken care of. Thank you for your work, God bless.

A Beautiful Bible Reading Experience but..... First, let me state the design, layout, and user experience of this app is by far the best of any Bible app I have used. For that, the app is definitely worth the money. However, in an age where the Bible is free online it’s kind of ridiculous to charge an extra $5 to $10 for all of the most common versions of the Bible after we’ve already paid for the app (which doesn’t offer any study notes or plans). Would easily give 5 stars if each version of the Bible was free and they still charged for the app. But for now, it’s difficult to recommend.

Expensive. Beautiful App. Best looking one out there. That said, I found the hidden charge for the more common and used versions a bit deceptive. Both NIV and New King James will cost you 9.99. That can add up in a hurry. If you just need one version to read your bible from then it is probably worth it for the clean functionality of it. But studying from multiple translations will cost you and there are only a few. Message is not available yet.

Broken App. This app seems to be very broken lately. It used to be black at night (with white text), and now it’s grey, which gives off too much light and is hard to read. And I can’t scroll to the next chapter, or even select the chapter (it always picks one before or after the one I pick). Yikes! Perhaps more quality control is needed before pushing updates?

Great App! But it worked better before the update.. I love this Bible app, but the last update really broke the app layout on iPad when using Stage Manager. The last update was supposed to modernize the app for new OS versions but the old App worked better on modern iPadOS. I still love the app and will still rate it 5 stars any day, but we need a fix so it plays nice with Stage Manager!

Beautifully crafted interface. I found this after growing weary of bugs and bloat in the app I previously used as it has increasingly focused on becoming a social media platform. The interface is lovely and intuitive and I appreciate a distraction free alternative. My only concern would be sustainability and updates going forward. I would be willing to pay for upgrades as this certainly feels like a premium option. Thanks for an excellent app. Wish list item would be an ESV audio reading option…

Simple, elegant, easy to use. This is almost everything I would want in a Bible app. Clean, elegant design. Simple, intuitive use. No extras, like daily verse or ads of any kind. (I realize some will want audio bibles, devotions, etc. Totally fair. But for me, those are unnecessary and clutter up the app.) The only downside is the limited versions available.

Opens to reading with less distractions. So glad I don’t have to switch tabs in toolbar to start reading. Please consider: Completely black background for night mode On iPhone X, black background used less energy and the black around the screen becomes the margin; given this, please also allow for near 0px margin onscreen. More text would make this even better.

Fantastic. This is worth every penny to me. The Bible is so powerful, and these folks display that without getting a bunch of menus and fluff in the way. I removed my 600$ Logos library for the simplicity of this app. (I’m a BA In Theo, but this is where I am at now- the simplicity of the word- no verse markers, just one unified story). For being such a “proprietary app guy”, this is one “aftermarket” app from an indie developer team that I have the pleasure to support and be blessed by. I wholeheartedly recommended all to download if you share sentiments similar to mine, because I read the Bible more because of this app.

Beautiful but needs landscape mode. This app is gorgeous. The design is very well-crafted, and it's a very simple and minimal reading experience. The navigation and features are well thought out. The only thing it lacks is a landscape mode. Although the typography is optimized, it still isn't ideal on such a small screen in portrait mode. The character per line count is on the low side. If there was a landscape mode this would be more ideal. In any case, it is still possibly the nicest looking, fastest loading, most enjoyable read of the Bible on the iPhone in portrait mode. While I think the developers deserve their pay, there are other apps that offer the ESV translation for free, even if only available used online. I realize there are licensing and royalties to account for, but something like two or three dollars would be more reasonable for additional translations. I'd buy a few, whereas I'm reluctant to buy one for the price i paid for my compact ESV physical book, new in store. If there was a landscape mode that read just as nicely I might not be so reluctant.

Thanks! Hoping for iPhone X screen formatting soon. My new bible. Level of polish is on par with iBooks. Fit and finish is first-rate. Plenty of versions available, reasonably priced as in-app purchases. Looking forward to the universal version for iPad compatibility.

great design hampered by limited translations. Love the design of this app—I don’t believe I’d change that aspect about it at all. But we don’t read the Bible because it looks good; we read the Bible for its content. And so this app is very seriously in need of more translations—very many of which are license-free. In this, the app is seriously limited, and I just find myself going to other apps anyway as a result. Not sure I should keep this app. I’d love to see this app with the NRSV translation.

Great User Experience, Missing ONE thing.. I love using this app. I find it has the most intuitive, gorgeous, and fast interface of all the Bible apps I’ve used—I’ve tried quite a few of them, most I dislike. I quite like that you can toggle red letters and verse numbers (especially useful in reading and understanding the flow of Old Testament passages). My one complaint is that this app does not allow split screen mode for the iPad. Often I want to read an entire book through once, and then go back and make notes about what I’m reading, and its useful to have the biblical text to the left or right of the notes I’m taking. If this feature was added to the App it would be the ultimate bible app, in my opinion.

A truly beautiful app for reading your Bible. Makes reading the Bible simple, fluid, and intuitive. I use it everyday and am happy to be able customise it to my liking. Bookmarks/highlights are saved right on the main page for easy access. Fonts are not only easy to read but well selected. A wonderful, wonderful app!

Clean and simple. Elegant. I have used a number of Bible apps and most are laid out pretty clunky or overly complicated. No I don't know why either? This one was the first which was really designed well for a smart phone. I see others are now imitating it too.

Navigating the Word is so elegant. I have used this app as my digital Bible for years now. I love the way it makes zooming around to different chapters and books so elegant. My only two wishes for improvement are: 1. When I open it asks if I want to pick up where I left off. This might seem well intentioned but I think it should be a default. Because navigating is easy, why even ask? It just adds an extra click every time I open the app. 2. Make switching versions as seamless as switching books or chapters and you will win. I hop between several versions and I would love to be able to switch without having to dig in the settings so deeply. Tiny gripes aside, this app is a 10/10 and I share it with my friends and family all the time.

Slow after update. This was a very nice app that I used daily. Unfortunately after the update, it takes close to a minute to load when the app is opened, and about 20 seconds to highlight or bookmark a passage. This makes it nearly unusable, which is a shame because it was previously the best of its kind. I'm running iOS 8 on an iPhone 5, so maybe not a typical user. But it would be nice if I don't have to look for another Bible app and lose all my highlighted passages.

Thoughtfully designed, beautifully crafted. I love this Bible app for its focus and attention to detail. Easy to use. Comfortable to read. The one feature I’d enjoy seeing is additional ways of viewing highlighted verses. The single, long, chronological list of verses isn’t all that helpful. It is difficult to find any specific highlighted verse. A higher level view grouping them by date or book could prove useful.

Beautiful app! Please support Catholics!. NeuBible is an absolutely beautiful app that provides the best scripture reading experience available on iOS. The design is carefully considered, the typography is stunning, and the interface is uncluttered. The only issue that prevents me from giving a perfect 5-star rating is that it doesn’t offer complete support for Catholics. The deuterocanonical books (e.g. Tobit, Wisdom) are not included, and none of the translations approved for Catholics (e.g. NRSV, NABRE) are currently available.

2018 iPad Pro Issue. Apps on the home button-less iPads should have no concept of orientation. All built-in apps work in any of the 4 orientations. NeuBible does not work in the “camera-down” orientation. I often have no idea which direction I am holding my iPad, but when I launch this app, I then most physically rotate the device in order to use the app.

Still the best. I’ve used this app for years, still can’t any other that’s even close to how thoughtful, considered, intuitive, and elegant the design and experience of this app. Wish more folks knew of it.

The best bible *reading* experience anywhere. NeuBible is the bomb. Best bible reading experience anywhere. Actually, best pure READING experience anywhere (focused, uncluttered, AMAZING typography), killer intuitive navigation, not bloated with “features," etc. When I say “best reading experience”, I mean of *any* app, not just Bible apps. Kindle, iBooks, e-readers should take notes. My two main suggestions: it would be basically perfect (for me) if it had a way to take notes (supposedly they have ideas for this...) and had a way to track reading plans (like He Reads Truth, which has a great reading plan feature, but an otherwise awful reading experience). I have this general dislike for most “Christian” products, because they’re so often crappy rip-offs or very poorly executed, but NeuBible is what a “Christian” app *should* be: best in class to reflect the creativity & inspiration God gives us.

Late 2003 updates set this app way back. This app used to be great. It didn’t need to do a lot, and the few things it did, it did brilliantly. It was simple, elegant, and always worked great. Starting with the most recent updates in late fall of 2023, there’s suddenly a rash of new bugs and problems that in my years of use had never been there. For the few dollars I paid for this app when I first downloaded it years ago, it was everything I wanted it to be. Now, though, it looks like it’s time to find a replacement. Thanks for the great years!

Best Bible App Today. This provides the best reading experience for scripture on any iOS device, and it’s not even close. With all of the attention to detail, you can find yourself reading more than what you initially planned to which is a great thing. The only thing that’s missing, and for me it’s a huge miss, is the lack of support for multitasking. It’s been available since iOS 9, and with an app that’s cleverly designed such as this, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Unfortunately, my number one use case for a Bible app is to take notes in church with scripture open on my iPad, and that’s not possible with this app. It’s for full screen or nothing. Nevertheless, the developers should be proud for making a great app.

Quickly became my favorite!. There was no single "killer feature" that made NeuBible replace the ESV app for me, but rather dozens of little refinements. The app itself vanishes, leaving me to effortlessly delight in God's Word. I would certainly appreciate the addition of notes and a URL scheme, but there is so much beauty here that it still gets five stars from me.

I love this Bible app.... It's almost perfect. I love everything about it except one small thing... Can you PLEASE add an infinite scroll option so it doesn't jump to the next chapter as I'm reading? It's abrupt and then I lose my place when I go back. But thank you so much for this app! It's so polished and beautiful!

Oh Wow!. If I write a review at all, it's usually after weeks of playing with an application. In this case it is within minutes of downloading it. Talk about a beautiful reading experience and an extremely well thought out UI; these guys nailed it. The highlighting is simple, not painful. So easy to skip between chapters. I am using it on my iPad Pro and it is simply a delight.

My New Default Bible App for phone and iPad!. They weren’t kidding when they said this app was “thoughtfully” designed. I love every feature about it! The text is elegant and draws me in. I want to read my Bible digitally the same way I do with my print Bible and this app makes it possible. This beats the ESV Bible app because this offers more than one translation which I appreciate. I love being able to read God’s word without all the clutter of most Bible apps. I mean, I’m thankful that YouVersion makes it so easy to share God’s word, it is just too busy. This app is simple, elegant, and efficient. My new favorite next to Logos!

Almost the perfect Bible app. Update: Still waiting and praying for an ecumenical translation option or toggle for access to apocrypha/deuterocanon/longer canon 🙏 Also, please consider adding an option to automatically swap between light and dark modes. Beautiful, functional, and distraction-free Bible reading experience. Unfortunately, all the available translations are missing books commonly referred to as apocrypha. Some of the included translations have versions that include these books (ASV, KJV, NKJV, and WEB). Something as simple as a toggle option to enable the extended versions would be greatly appreciated. I really want to use this app but it’s incomplete so I have to rely on the youversion and olive tree apps instead (not that they’re bad, just that this app provides the best reading experience).

Good app - Search function could be better. This is a great app and it’s completely worth the money. I give it four stars because the search function is very frustrating. For instance if you barely remember a verse and want to find it you need to know the full exact word in it. For instance, if you are trying to find Mt 19:12 but don’t remember the book/chapter of it but you do remember Jesus mentioning the word eunuch in that verse, the search function won’t return that verse if you search “eunuch.” He says “eunuchs” (going off KJV) so you have to search that to find it. The search feature also deletes your search term after you select a verse to look at. If you realize it’s not the verse you were thinking of, you have to go back and type it again. This makes it really frustrating to do any kind of serious study in the app other than simple reading. With a really simple fix to the search bar, this app could work great as a concordance. I’d pay double for it if it actually did that. Another note - I saw a typo when reading the ESV in Jeremiah (possibly it was in Job). I forget where exactly but it was obviously wrong as in there was a space missing between two words. I checked my paper ESV and it had it right. This severely undermined my faith in this app - I want to know that what I’m reading is really accurate and not cross check everything that looks strange! I have not seen anything wrong in the KJV however.

Simple and wonderful. Found this through the Dwell app (well, upon looking up recent news about the Dwell bible app). I love that you can hide the verse numbers and just how beautiful everything is. I hope the partnership/acquisition from Dwell will be fruitful for this app (and the Dwell app) however that pairing will work. Thanks for a great app. Might I suggest putting a “tip” button on the menu so we can send some extra money to the creators - $1.99 feels like a steal for such an app. 10/10

First App ever. Beautifully designed app. No question about it. Finally what Christians have been waiting for. It’s sad that out of the billions of apps out there we had to wait this long to get an elegant app just to read the Bible. Thank you guys. Downgraded 1 star because we have to pay again for the popular versions and the font sizes could be made bigger. The ones they have are small, even the largest font size. Otherwise it’s beautifully designed. Even the option to switch between chapters or books.

Good with some flaws. I have several Bible apps, and for me, this is tied with Crossways ESV for the best. But my biggest wish/complaint is that the app would allow scrolling without the pause/stops between chapters and books. Smooth continuous scrolling. Also, an option to just start where I last left off without asking every time would be nice. There might be a couple other minor bugs or things here and there they could optimize, and lately the app has been frequently crashing, but otherwise a good effort.

Amazing app for reading and searching. This app is amazing. It glides from page to page without lag or delay. There is a search engine that you can search the Bible for keywords. Copy/pasting verses is easy and doesn't add any url below the verse like the "bible app" does. You can highlight and bookmark verses and there is light and dark mode with different fonts and sizes. Most books are available, kjv came free and esv I bought for $5.

Best Bible App. I have been using the Nuebible app for about 4 years and it is intuitive, easy to use, and there is not a whole lot of extras that get in the way of reading. Some other bible apps add a lot of extra features that slow down their app or cause their app to crash from time to time but not Nuebible. I love the interface of the app the way it works so smoothly and it has always worked for me perfectly. I would recommend Nuebible to anyone who wants to enjoy reading the Bible on their iPhone. It is the best reading experience is the best I’ve found on any reading app. Well worth the purchase and it is one that will last for years to come!

Is the App dead?. I’ve tried reaching out to the developers via email but never got a response. The last update was three years ago. I like this app but it needs additional features, and there are so many things that could be added. One new feature that needs to be added is uninterrupted vertical scrolling: Currently it will scroll vertically, but there is an invisible barrier that shoots the text upwards. Hey Quiet Pupil Developers, are you still working on this project?

Truly a gift. This is such a gem. Easy to read, navigate and keep me in the word. I’ve gave up on the big Bible apps, yes they have everything but I get lost in navigation and offers to add another reference and then forget what I came for; God’s word. Thank you for your wonderful app and diligence.

Awesome. Best bible app I've had. It's great. Easily navigable and aesthetically pleasant. I will say, though, that if there were to be an option (like within some ebook apps) to make a note/bookmark so you can annotate and write personally next to each verse-- like a journal bible. I'd even pay for an upgrade for that. Overall, it's awesome!

Focus in a Land of Distraction. The NeuBible app is a refreshing spark of intelligent app design. In a market filled apps that try to deliver bible plans and put layers of decisions between the user and the Word, NeuBible does its best to efficiently bring readers back to the Word. The first screen you are shown is a list of the books of the Bible. This makes it simple to quickly access any reference. Chapter selection is as easy as swiping on the title of the book or swiping to the left from the right while reading and scrolling to your chapter of choice. There is a reasonable selection of popular translations. Though, some do cost money. When you 3D Touch on the app icon you can jump to "Search", "Bookmark", and "Latest Highlight". There are pleasant color, typeface, and visibility options within the app. The latest update introduced true blacks and fixed a cosmetic bugs. The true blacks are stunning.

Hope for Multitasking Support. This application is by far my most used, and my favorite for my iPad Pro. If I'm at church, in bed, or just taking a slow moment throughout the work day, this is my go to. My only request is to enable multitasking. I'd love to have this open next to a commentary I have on kindle, or multitask with GoodNotes and my Apple Pencil to do a more intense study. Please consider this! Thank you for your faithfulness in creating this!

A Pleasure to Read. Have loved for a long time. Latest update fixing merged words has made it even better. One request. Option to turn on/off super dark mode. Latest version is simply too dark; contrast hurts my eyes. The old contrast was much better for long form reading. Thanks, guys!

Nearly Perfect, but Jarring Scrolling Behavior. While scrolling near the end of a chapter, going just a couple pixels too far will instantly "jump" to the next chapter. When this happens, I have to go back a chapter and then find my place again. Please look into this. Infinite scrolling would be one solution, while another option might be making the chapter switch less sensitive.

Very Beautiful. It's time to fix the search! I enter a part of a verse that I'm looking for, and all the matches pop up with a small section of the verse. I click on one to see it, but it's not what I'm looking for. So then I have to start my search all over again! Kind of frustrating! I also feel like the night mode needs a lot of refinement. The background needs to be MUCH darker. It looks pretty weird and hard to read when I read it at night before falling asleep. I’m sure this would be even more of an issue on the iPhone X.

This is the Bible app I’ve been looking for. My criticism of many printed Bibles is that they are designed to be study guides rather being designed for reading and absorbing the text. When it comes to Bible apps, some of them have gotten close to what I wanted by letting me disable much of the cruft, but none of them let me just focus on the text like this one does. I’ve found my new preferred app for reading the most important writing there is. Thanks for the good work. And thanks for making it paid so I can help support your efforts.

Bookmarking. Please add the ability to bookmark multiple chapters instead of the most recent thing kicking out the previous one. The Bible is used as a reference, not read from begging to end like a novel. So being able to mark multiple chapters or verses (and label them) would be helpful. Thanks.

Wonderful, but a tad slow after update. This has been and still is one of my favorite apps ever. I always recommend it to anyone looking for a better bible app. But the new update makes it pretty slow on iPhone on startup and when highlighting/bookmarking.

Beautiful and Thoughtful.. I love the design and overall feel of the app. It makes a perfect environment to read the Scriptures. Features are well thought and it's simply beautiful. Big shout out to the entire team for a job well done! Would love to see a chronological reading plan somehow fit into the options. This is my go to Bible right now.

Intuitive and Elegant. Beautiful. Lovely to use. It just makes me want to read the Bible. I love it! Thank you. I can't wait for the translations I regularly use (and an iPad/Universal version).

Fast and clean. I like this. Like it a lot. The speed makes it a treat to read, especially heavy books like Numbers. Good ol' Numbers.. The leading between the books list can be closer. Long way to scroll from Genesis to Revelations. I also dim my phone all the way at night. The 'Night' text theme does not have enough contrast at the lowest brightness, but this is just a minor issue. Fantastic work, can't wait for NIV :)

Favourite Mobile Bible. I have used many mobile Bible apps and currently use Logos. This Bible app has the best design sense I have seen and makes mobile Bible reading simple and enjoyable. Hopefully more translations will be added soon.

Fast, beautiful and clean. This Bible app was made in Heaven. It's now free even though I paid for it when released and I don't even care. Worth more than the money I paid!

Best bible app. Love the interactions, IMO has the most well thought out book/chapter navigation of any app I've tried - all without a lot of unnecessary feature bloat that some other apps suffer from - love that they're keeping it simple! Really hope they can negotiate ESV licensing soon.

Beautiful Bible App Keeps Getting Better. First, thank you to the developers for creating this app and actively developing it. This by far the best Bible app I've come across that balances speed with functionality. Many of the other apps I've tried are loaded with features but in exchange sacrifice speed. NueBible launches in 2 seconds. Possible improvements: + Better navigation for Psalms from book selector + Fuzzy cross-version searching (Ex. Search "I am way truth" for John 14:6) + Improved search term highlighting in search results + Topic search + Better timeline management

Would be nice to have labels. For the highlights and bookmarks. Would also be nice to change highlight colours.

Great design honours God's word. The app is a thing of beauty that fades into nothing as you find yourself getting immersed in Jesus' amazing teaching, the prophets, psalms and proverbs. Broken on iOS 12. New update seems to have broken it on my iPad mini2 and iPhone 6 on latest updates. Great while it lasted.

Simply the best bible app!. The user experience is phenomenal... effectively strips away distraction leaving just you and God's word ... the way it should be.

Sleek, beautiful, customisable.. I love this app! While other Bible apps are littered with adverts and other nonsense, Neubible is sharp and clean. The display is also fully customisable. The search function is a bit rudimentary, but it does its job. My biggest complaint is the total absence of the deuterocanonical books. Even the KJV has been divested of its Apocrypha.

Started great. Now even better!. Adding bookmarks seems like a good idea. And it is. Plus they did it in a way you don't even have to remember.

Outdated, needs some attention. * Needs system dark/light mode * Needs a privacy policy in the App Store * Needs to sort out their support domain name situation (apparently someone swooped in and took it!)

Split-view support for iPad. Love the app, but I would really appreciate split support so I can take notes in another app. Is it possible to make this happen?

A couple improvements would make it perfect. Stronger search and supporting split screen will make this app perfect!

Is this app dead?. This used to be my favorite bible app on iOS. It’s beautifully designed, fairly good UI. But now…….I’m going to have to give it a 3/5 stars. I wish it would just get an update.

Night mode needs work.. Gray text on a black background is unreadable. No way to change it. Pretty obvious for a "designer's bible". I wouldn't pay for this again.

Pitch Black Dark Mode is nice BUT…. Please bring back an option to have a dark gray, not over-contrasty bright white on pitch black, Dark Mode. Thanks! Developer contacted me and said this option is coming. Hopefully soon!

Beautiful!. So thankful to have found such a simple and elegant Bible app. I appreciate the lack of "features" that many of the other apps have which are more distractions than anything. So excited to be using this!

Simply The Best!. This Bible App is simply the best in terms of elegantly using modern technology to simply present the Word of God in a very easy to use and read format…. Including most major translations. Would like to especially recognize you for not adding all of the bolt-ons and commercialized advertisements and sales pitches used by others. All of which are distractions. Simply The Word of God. 1 Peter 1:23

It’s pretty, and simple, and.... They haven’t updated it in 8 months. I’d pay for a true Black for iPhone X night view... I’d pay for reading plans, better highlighting ordering. They told me they would not be doing reading plans. Hope they do some updating - it’s a good app, and worth the money...

Oh my!!!. I love it! My only issues are it doesn't seem to be as fluid as the iPhone version and the text doesn't look as crisp either. It looks a little blurry. Other than that, I love it!

Beautifully Simple!. I LOVE this Bible app! No clutter & straight to the point. I love that it covers up the clock at the top of my phone, so I don't get distracted with the time. Keep up the good work, guys!

Beautiful Bible App. Love this. Simple and beautiful. Makes it easy to focus on the Word. My only request is to add the NLT as an in app purchase option.

2022: Still the only good Bible app. The UX is amazing. The complete lack of social connectivity is incredible. I really don’t know how a better Bible app could ever be made. Adding passion translation would be awesome, would happily pay for it.

My go to Bible app. I've had many Bible apps but the excellent layout of this app is what keeps bringing be back. My only wish is for options to keep the display on, and possibly a brightness setting.

Great app, but.... Good looking app and I love the premise, BUT you have to pay extra for your preferred translation (which can cost as much as $5) which feels kind of like a shady thing not to mention.

Great App - Urgent Fix. Amazing app for quite a while till some random update(that was released at some point in 2023) that messed up this app on the iPad and Mac. Please fix and I’ll give this app a 5 star easily!

Good app, terrible dark mode.. Great design! My favorite bible app. Only complaint is the “Night” theme. It’s AWFUL. It was much easier to read in the previous update. This is a step backwards.

Really could use split view support on iPad. I love reading from the neue Bible, but I like having notes side by side. I really wish that neue bible supported that.

Dark mode. So glad to see the dark mode made even better by being completely black on my iPhone XS. Love the clean simple layout and font options.

Clean and Simple. This was exactly the Bible app I was looking for - a clean and simple reading experience. I love that I can turn off the verse numbers and red letters and just focus on immersing myself in the text. Thanks for making this!!

Best Bible App. Best Bible app out there by far. Runs smooth and is beautifully designed. Perfect for simple reading but I really wish you could write inline notes. Still, a beautiful app in a sea of Christian media that desperately needs better design.

The best Bible app on the market. Gorgeous. Certainly the best looking Bible app on the App Store. The minimalist design really make it a pleasure to use. Would be nice if it had more translations but since it has ESV, I’m not complaining. Well worth the cost.

Best clean designed bible for easy reading. It has the sweet essence of bible reading. I really appreciate the design and pureness of the bible. Only thing is the daily bible reading plan. If it had the option, it would be the best.

Unnecessary bugs. App worked fine until mid-late 2023. First update to the app I’m 4 years… No new features were introduced other than bugs that haven’t been resolved in months. Impossible to use the app now and read my Bible now.

The Designer’s Bible.. The only properly typeset app in the app store. Not only beautiful, but faster to navigate than YouVersion, Lumina, and ESV.

Does what’s intended. I just wish it was more accessible like I work 3 jobs and don’t have much time. I was hoping there would be a feature that reads the word of god. While I’m working. I wouldn’t even care if it was super robotic sounding. That way I can still do my job and listen. That being said I do love the app it is fast as said

Pretty but.... I don’t quite understand what exactly is being synced in iCloud... certainly not bookmarks. No ability to contact developers and ask.

Spanish. This is great for preaching! Also living in a diverse city, there are many people who speak different languages. I’m hoping soon the app will have other languages like Spanish.
