Used to work. Post purchase the App was working well for a short time. A little slow but that was to be expected. Fast forward a few weeks and it only loads a very small handful of sites, at most. All other sites I try to access thru this just sit there 'loading'. I am also still on an older version since every update has continued to break this application further, per the reviews. The only recommendation I received to try to remedy this was to uninstall and reinstall the app. Basically the equivalent to "did you try to restart your (insert device name here)". Save your $$$ and look elsewhere.

Impossible to cancel. It’s actually disgusting how hard this thing is to cancel I’m considering grabbing a new card or even a new I tunes account this kind of militant charging is disgusting I have been trying to remove my subscription to this app for 6 weeks so you know how much that’s cost me exactly 70 dollars. 70 dollars JUST LET ME CANCEL and when I did cancel you changed your name in my Apple subscription and it went through again y’all are a disgusting business with disgusting practices I hope to christ I figure this out because I’m more than willing to keep writing reviews.

Leap of faith. So far I'd give it a thumbs up...privacy is a huge concern...which is why I took off google chrome and gave these guys a shot. I'm hoping they value customer privacy more so than leading advertisers. Nowadays, finding a company that actually cares about their customers without intent of selling them out is rare. Praying good results from this app. :)

The latest update ruined the app.. First off they started charging, not a little, a lot. I liked the app enough that i subscribed. But not only did they start charging, they messed with the whole app. The browser with a fluently encoded vpn is not the first screen you see, now you sign in to the vpn, and transfer to a browser, and hopefully by that point app hasn’t crashed yet. The new update also has problems running the browser in landscape mode. I’ve only gotten it to turn sideways once in the two days I’ve been using it. I cancelled my subscription before being charged luckily they gave a free week. Unfortunately, i will never try the paid version of this app again, and now need to find a new TOR browser. Dudes. How do you sleep releasing a flawed update at the same time that you start charging for your product? You had the best browser, and I’m sure many of us would consider paying your extraordinary $40 a year subscription, but not after this. really shot yourselves in the foot here.

Great for anonymous browsing and privacy. I've used other browsers that claim to give you privacy, but in the end I come back to the one browser I can trust and rely on keeping my non-media browsing private without worrying about my info being tracked to be thrown ads and garbage pages that assume what my interests are.

Blatant Scam - You’re going to lose money. The disgusting ethics of this company has led me to write this; my first review on the App Store. While searching to find a private browser/VPN I came upon this app. After being prompted to initiate a “free 7 day trial”, I clicked on it, and was instantly charged...? Instantly... nice “free” dimwits. If you like being scammed out of money by pathetic bottom dwelling scum, download this app. Otherwise, don’t bother wasting your time even reading through other reviews. Look at the most recent ones if any, fairly certain the majority of the rest are fake. Sincerely hope the creators of this scam step on legos for the rest of their useless lives.

No Privacy. Does anybody even use this to actually browse onions??? I am guessing not, because I doubt the ability to access that, considering when I checked my IP address via Google search in the app, it was the same as everything else on my phone whih was not in the app. If you don't know what all that means, I'm saying this doesn't make you anonymous whatsoever! The developer is just making money off of you seeing the ads, at the least. And making money when you pay off the ads. Also, who's to say they aren't using your information too! Nowhere in this app did I see options for connecting to a VPN, either.

Nice. I feel much safer using this browser, especially now that congress has voted to overturn legislation that protected us from internet providers tracking and selling our browsing habits. This is a relatively fast browser, that truly protects your identity as far as I can tell. It is easy to use and I really like the password protection option.

Loaded reviews. So, I was chugging along dealing with this app - it’s not the best but I was getting used to it’s bad points and was resigned to it. For instance, the catchpas (sp?) were all jumbled so you can’t really fill them out. The browser back button is badly located if you’re using the keyboard I have cause you cant reach it. The list goes on. But I was all “whatevs, this is entertainig” and then all of a sudden the app stops and demands that I leave a five star review or else I could not continue to use it. Which...OK...I paid MONEY for this???? So....I’m not sure where you guys get off demanding crap from me when I already gave you money? I have no way to know if that was the only weird demand that the developers were going to hold the app I PAID FOR hostage about because at that point I wanted to never use this app again because I don’t like ppl that lie. And that’s what this is. If you don’t leave them 5 stars you forfeit your money. So, just for the record, this is how they got such a high star rating - by hijacking ppl after they gave them money. So that’s who you’re dealing with here.

Great, easy app. This app is well designed and straight forward. It makes no record of your searches or sites visited. It works just like any other browser out there, but it's secure! My only criticism is the vpn app ad they have. It's an orange arrow that pop around to different parts of the screen. When it's in the upper left, it partially blocks the back button, making the app hard to navigate in that situation.

Not anonymous at all!!!. Ok first I downloaded this app specifically to submit what I mistakenly believed would be a completely anonymous crime report to a law enforcement agency. After submitting my crime tip, I next went to a Wikipedia page and checked both "talk" and "contributions" based on my IP address. (Before I started using this Tor app, I specifically deleted my cookies and temp files.) The Wikipedia page correctly identified my IP address and all of my prior Wikipedia contributions with that specific IP address. This means that this app is a 100% complete and total fraud because it did not conceal my identity or location.

Privacy Becomes Important Again. A Tor browser is more crucial than ever since our privacy is up for sale and we live in perilous times. That said, I hate change. So I'm glad to say making the switch to Tor Browser has been seamless and the "learning curve" is negligible. I'm a very new user, but very happy so far with settings, performance and. functionality

Great for anonymity on you smartphone. I never thought such a thing would be possible but it can help when you need to be anonymous on smartphone Internet! However there was some weird text in another language that I could not change but everything else is in English and legible! Thanks Tor!

Easy to install & use. The program is simple to use & navigate. The browser is set by default to Bing. I haven't tried to change it yet, but it looks like you could. The relevant issue is whether or not TOR allows us to use the internet with relative anonymity in the age of our browser history being auctioned off to the highest bidder. I have no way of knowing whether or not this app provides that or not. I'm taking a leap of faith & will start using this app in hopes that it is capable of protecting me and my personal information from those who'd like to obtain it. I'd advise anyone who values their privacy to do the same.

Try it and u will be satisfy. I've always wanted to find a safe web search browser. I've been searching thru apps store and I found Tor with a lot of great reviews. So I installed it and I am happy to say that I feel like I am safe and secure to browse the web. Wowwww this is the best, safest and Secure app so far for web Browser. Safer than safari and chrome.

Great browser. I have tried many so called secure browsers and vpn's to use while traveling to conduct my banking and other financial business and gave found many of them will not connect to various institutions o the connections slow so much that they become useless. This browser gives me fast speeds and connect to my banks without issues. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a more secure and usable connection than others.

Flat Out Doesn't Work. Does it work as a browser? Yes. Does it work through the TOR network? NO. It never goes through a TOR connection process. The first thing I did was check to see if I was connected through TOR, and I wasn't. There's no setting to do this, there's no way to force a TOR connection refresh, and there's no TOR routing going on. I even paid the pro upgrade fee thinking maybe I just hadn't done enough, and that didn't work. I emailed support; I never heard anything back. Then I thought it might be a problem with my network connection disallowing TOR launch points. I downloaded a different TOR browser (looks like a purple and white onion), and guess what? It launched, it went through a connection sequence, and I was on the TOR network, confirmed. So, in the end, this app doesn't work and the in-app upgrade just takes your money and still doesn't work. Avoid.

Fake. I haven't used this app yet and by reading particular competent sounding reviews, I probably shouldn't. What I will say is that this app isn't part of, programmed by, or even promoted by the original TOR project developers. These crooks are trying to profit off of others recognition and hard work. The real TOR browser is open source meaning it's free. Always has been, always will be. This crap app is definitely not "powered" by TOR. A side note, all these users that call any private browsing software a "TOR browser", STOP! There is only 1 TOR browser. That's the name of the particular software, not a type of software....

Doesnt do anything for privacy. Tried this app because i wanted better privacy in this day and age of stolen info and it had good reviews, hated the ads so i paid for pro instantly(dumb of me) First off it forces you to use a handful of search engines, ones i cant stand, like bing, That aside and this is IMPORTANT, This so called Tor powered browser does nothing for privacy, checked on tor to test connection, told me I wasnt connected to tor network, tested my ip address and it showed the only one from my provider. No settings in app to change to fix it, vpn was not shown in settings on phone. The one star rating is forced, deserves less then zero

Nice App. Works nicely. Layed out well and easy to use. Was recommended to me by a friend I trust. I only give it 4 stars because it could be a liiitttlllee faster, but it is free sooo. The other reason I give it 4 stars is one of the things I think is slowing load time down, ads. I'm cool with advertisements on a free app, but these annoying little red balls with a play button keep bouncing all over the tho lol. It's cool bc it's free and reliable, so try it out.

Perfection Just Simply Doesn't Exist..... This app is one of the better free/cheap tor apps. I'm not a 5 star giver, period. So, it's also hard for me to say that there is a better option which is comparable. I am slightly new at the whole dns thing too tho. Let's just leave if at this... does EXACTLY as described. Also, I actually use this app. There's many I also downloaded that I simply either can't figure out, don't trust, or don't seem to operate as intended (or as I assumed they would lol).... So far tho, no complaints. And again, it's doing exactly as it stated... could def improve, yes! BUT SO CAN ALMOST EVERYTHING ELSE ;-P

Best Free Tor Browser on the App Store. I personally had tried many of the free Tor browsers available on the App Store. None of them really worked and suited my needs as well as this one. Easy access to the Dark web, also known as .onion sites, which is very good, as that is the main purpose of Tor for me. Also works great in combination with my VPN app, no problems. The only reason that it's not 5 stars is because sometimes websites that I know are active and functioning, will not load and the app will tell me that they are not available. This is however, a minor issue. Overall, as I said, the best free Tor app on the App Store, as I cannot speak for the paid ones, for I did not try them.

So far so good. So far so good. The interface is simple enough and everything seems to work as advertised, but who knows. It will take me a while to really investigate if I'm really as secure as it claims. It is a little unsettling to see ads on an app of this type, although I realize I should expect that from a free app. It does just feel a little odd. Definitely creates the feeling of being a legit Tor browser, but only some experimenting, investigation, and time to play around and read up on how these things work on a mobile device, will really let me know if this was the app I thought it was.

Very good fast browser. I have been using the browser for only three days but have found it to be quite fast. I have not noticed any web sites which were not available as mentioned by some users. I did not like the location of the advertising buttons on the free version because they occasionally were in the way of some of the buttons for moving back to a previous screen or opening a new tab.

Doesn't work, but the ads do!. As soon as I installed this app I immediately tested it by browsing to an IP geolocation service. Sure enough my real IP, location, and ISP were displayed. Clearly I am not in fact browsing through Tor! Meanwhile all the controls get covered by a play button that forces you to watch a full screen ad. Even after you watch the ad it reappears after a couple minutes. This is in addition to a giant animated ad at the bottom of the screen. This app is absolute garbage and I can't believe it gets any good reviews!

The Creme de la Creme of Tor Browsers. Honestly you everything I have used so far on the free version of this browser has been up to the best that hide like to use it for anyway I am writing this review to receive the limited Tro Pro. Nonetheless so far it's only been a bit annoying and inconsistent with the ads displaying most times but other than that it has Great passcode option with another optional finger print reader lock for it. I would say five stars besides the ads displayed to often but great at hiding any searching that I've done to the best of my knowledge. So I'd say four stars.

You're better off.... You're better off using this application than using other browser. Recent ruling allows advertisers to use exploit your browsing habits. Not good because you don't get a piece of that coin... privacy is gone, so the name of the game is protection. My opinion is that this app will help protect you from advertisers exploiting your browsing habits. I hope this helps and happy browsing!

NOT free, just so you know.... I missed that even the anonymous browser portion of the app requires a subscription of $4/week. It won't work at all unless you login with your apple id (a potential security/privacy issue on its own since now somebody is tracking how many days you have run the "free" trial or how many months you have subscribed) and enable the 30 days "free" trial. There were a couple of confusing clauses in the fine print as to when that trial could be cleanly terminated without dinging your credit card. I didn't take it any further, I don't run my devices constantly logged in to Apple servers for no good reason. Tor for desktop doesn't have a subscription component, while it may be worthwhile for this application, be aware that if you don't terminate exactly according to the terms you may end up paying.

Excellent Tor Browser. With ISP's now having the ability to sell our personal data it is more important than ever to protect yourself with products like this. This browser has all the functionality of any other with the added benefit that I sleep well at night knowing my ISP isn't going to make any more money off me.

Lacking. Two off-putting characteristics are immediately apparent: • Portrait-only orientation, if the introductory screen is the face of this app. If you can't do landscape, you're not trying hard enough. • Immediate registration demanded, including an opt-out commitment to a monthly charge after a one-week trial. The $5/mo fee is about 20% more than I'm paying for Tunnel Bear VPN, a Canada-based company that gives me all the options and security I need. (Also, this app's introductory screen contains enough grammatical and punctuation mishaps to give me pause about the precision of its inner workings. Developers, your documentation and communications with customers are measures of your credibility. Language is important.)

Anti tracking but they track you. I just downloaded the app and the very first screen you get is a subscription screen. For starters, it’s $9.99 a WEEK! $520 a year to use their services, WHAT?! A VPN and Tor on a PC is less than $50 a year, and that’s for pure animosity! Why would I pay $480 more a year to be tracked by the very company claiming to help us not be tracked? That’s just the start of my issue with this app. The second complaint comes down to the fact that you have to subscribe through Apple ITunes. This poses a massive issue with me about security. The entire purpose of Tor is to be anonymous, which isn’t possible if you are being tracked by Apple. As well as Apple tracking you now, you also have their hosting service tracking you. For an anti-tracking type of business, this doesn’t seem right. You have to sign up to be tracked by multiple companies in order to not be tracked? One of those companies being APPLE?! I’ll pass, and I recommend anyone who actually cares about privacy to delete this app too. They are NO more secure than Firefox, chrome, or explorer.

Finally privacy!. I've heard of this browser for so long, but was afraid to try it Dr to fear of spamming. However, with the event FCC changes and the increased need to protect your privacy, i purchased it. I'm still learning, but the ability to use this level of security is comforting. If you're looking for the highest level of security and you like your privacy, this is the app for you.

Great Browser. Fast, easy to use and all around a great way to search the web for pretty much anything.... My only gripe is the red arrow icon that moves around the screen. When you tap on it it shows you ads and I'm not really interested in this feature. It does disappear but then pops back in and it's pretty annoying but hey, overall I enjoy using the Tor Browser.

So far, so good. I'm not one for conspiracy theories and the like, but I'm generally a private kind of guy and so would rather not have my personal information out there. The caveat to this is that I don't want to put a lot of time and effort into the act of attaining said privacy. This app is very intuitive to use and so far works seamlessly.

Testing The Service. Was curious about private browsing apps, no reason other than i think the concept in interesting. This App seems to function very similarly to a standard web browser on a handheld device, like safari for example. No complaints other than some pop up adds, which i do understand considering the app was free.

Be smart. This software is fantastic and works well with the VPN software suggested in the ads that come with the basic version of this product. The base product works perfectly with my phone and given the recent changes on congress it just makes sense to upgrade to this kind of web use protocol. So when I was offered a chance to upgrade just for sharing my experience I was happy to oblige.

Like the PC Tor browser? Well, I don't know if they're related but it's a good idea. I have been using the PC Tor Browser and have had no issues. With the impending repeal of the net privacy act in the USA I feel it's necessary to hide my data. I didn't like the pop up ads on the iOS version but it said if I wrote a review it would upgrade to Pro version without ads, so that seems fair. Thanks!

New version is a disaster. They had a browser that worked reasonably well. It had its limitations but overall was quite useable. The latest update, however, is terrible. It's slow, and even worse, they removed the blue bar that showed the progress of a page being loaded. Now, I can't tell whether a page is loading slowly, has stopped loading, or never began loading. Also, the refresh page icon does not work, and trying to reload a page using the address line also no longer works. Needs fixing asap.

Want my money back.... It was working fine during the free trial although it’s slow as hell even with Wi-Fi, I was still able to surf the web. After I paid for another week of usage that’s when it started to crash especially if I leave the page to check on my other page. I consistently have to close the app and try again. Very annoying when it crashes all the time even on Wi-Fi. What a waste of my money... I should’ve stuck with the free trial or spent my money on another app that is actually working just fine. The vpn side hardly works either even with the free trial. Very disappointed.

Worked good on iPad, not on iPad Pro. Worked well on my iPad Air, does not work properly on new iPad Pro for some reason. Only works on some networks now when it used to work on all of them. When not working, I don't get the "Tor Panel" setting in the preferences menu any longer, and the browser no longer connects to the tor servers when spinning up.

So far so good. Only been using for a few hours but seems to work well, DNS lookups seem a little slow but no doubt due to latency - my desktop TOR systems lag in similar fashion. Overall, happy enough to leave this review at four stars; the ads, while disclosed up-front, are a little too intrusive, which takes the fifth star away. But I can't complain too much; I'm thinking of it as a "free trial" before getting the Pro version :)

Vote for Net Neutrality. Hi all. I know Net Neutrality is not directly related to Internet privacy, but it is a very important related topic we must spread the word on to keep the Internet playing field level for all. About this browser - I like it. Does the job. I mean, I assume it is actually connecting to the TOR network. Not as many problems as other browsers. Lots of ads though. No real reason to complain other than all the annoying red play buttons that stockpile and won't go away.

Great connection speeds and legit tor browser. So far so good in regards to a Mobile Anonymous Browser allowing me to safely browse the dark web without worry of being watched. Great for finding sites unavailable to surface surfers BUT when it comes to actually communicating in regards to placing orders or making inquiries with the webmaster I would make sure to create TAILS first and use my PC with very good underlying security like Vipre and of course a VPN. However like i said a great app to find what you need.

Impossible to unsubscribe. I am sure this works fine. I have not really been able to use it. But I’ve tried to unsubscribe and have searched settings as the app says to do but can find NOWHERE to unsubscribe. If this were a reputable company, this should be a simple, straightforward process with an easy access and clearly labeled location and button to unsubscribe. I’ve searched the app, the settings on my iPhone and in the Apple iTunes Store on my computer and it is not to be found. Nothing but blank pages come up and there is NO category for subscriptions in the settings or app. You are Stealing my money. STOP.

Decent Browser, still figuring how Tor works on mobile. The browser has a familiar feel. The back button is a little annoying. I'm not quite sure how Tor functions on mobile, but I wish the browser would block pop ups that take you to the app store, I feel that may be a lapse in security. Overall I like the added browsing anonymity.

Safe way to browse the web and make your purchases. With telecommunication companies being able to sell your browsing information. I looked into using a safe encrypted browser. Using it, and having it replace my default safari browser i al extremely happy with the app and would recommend it to everyone.

Chass. I'm just now learning to use the app. for browsing so this review at best is from a rookie user. However I do like the privacy it allows you to have while surfing the web. There are different browser available to use and so far all are working very well. I think I'm gonna enjoy my privacy thanks to this app.

The internet as it should be!. I recently found out about TOR browsers and wanted to give it a try to protect my privacy in an age where you are constantly monitored. This was the highest-rated app, so I picked this one after reading reviews. It looks and works a lot like Google Chrome (tabs, interface, multiple search engine options). You can unlock the pro version, which is ad-free if you write a review.

Good Browser but.... I am trying this app for the first time, and I saw this app VPN as an ancillary for Tor, so I downloaded this app. When I went back to the Tor browser, I could not connect to any sites. WTH so I deleted that app and the browser works fine. For a long time, since Google et al. reads all your emails, I switched to a paying email service for 20 bucks a year wasn't too bad for my privacy. I am looking forward to using Tor, and I bet the more people donate I think the ads will be in the past. But the the read arrow is completely annoying! Hence the 4 stars

Stopped working. Stopped working after a month no contact links work they all take you bending spoons to buy more apps .. still billing me for a non existent service had to buy another VPN and I’m still paying for this.😫

didn't work. I pay to upgrade to pro version. so I could use vpn and change to japan so no one can track me down. but very disappointing. after checking public ip address and look up what is the country for this ip address. and it still there. that public ip still show that its in my country. lucky that it only cost 1.25$ or else Sky fall

This isn't real Tor. A simple ip check on google revealed that this did not mask my IP address. If sites load quickly that is massive red flag, Google should be throwing up Catchpa checks. Changing the country setting did nothing. I could use a real VPN like Tunnel Bear for that. This isn't Tor and it won't protect your privacy

I would recommend. If you're looking for anonymity, TOR has the history and credentials. At this stage, for privacy, the only metric is who you trust. Other developers have released software that has security bugs and they aren't necessarily forthcoming in terms of their T&Cs around the data they actually collect. I have used the PC version (TOR) for years and witnessed the performance improvements overtime. If you're concerned about the Ad revenue on the free version, then pay for TOR Pro. The guys supporting this solution have to be able to fund future development, scaling servers for performance etc.

Top product. Work fine

Doesn’t work. The browser does not load anything. Put in web addresses and nothing loads. Chews through battery though. It’s doing something but not what it is intended to do.

Great alternative. To default browsers. Quicker than some other options.

Free pro version. Bit buggy but doing this for the intense desire not to pay for an app that is not innovative. Also ease up with ads, main cause of app crashes and overall Stability. Ps for people who use this you would be wise given the demographic to simply make it free no ads no commercial distaste left in my mouth: users would donate more than you make off ads.

Faster than expected. I downloaded Onion to my iPad this morning in Australia and found it much faster than I had expected from reviews of Tor. So far five stars.

This app says it’s free but it’s not. So the app says it’s free and all but when you download and open it says subscribe now or use free trial but there’s no option to continue on without paying and only using the free features stated in the description. This might be a bug but there’s not X button or anything

Pretty Good, UI Can be annoying though. The app overall looks pretty good and is nice to use, however sometimes the UI looks ugly and the ads are very annoying and repetitive.

Nothing but problems. Choose a different app! I’ve had nothing but trouble with this one. I had support tell me a couple of times the problems were fixed so I paid the subscription fee again and again only to have the same issues. Use another app....

Easy Enough To Use. When I downloaded the app I thought I might need to set up some configurations but it seems to be plug n play. Much happier to have a secure site.

It isn’t free. It says you get .... for free but you can’t use it at all without having a sub. I would pay money once for the app if necessary but an ongoing indefinite pay system is just a rip off. Other than the money issue I couldn’t say wether it’s good or not when it comes to the actual functionality of it

Absolute rubbish!. If your looking for for a web browser that will mask your IP this is a complete fake and not worth the money. Just try an ip whois while using... Sadly I was one of the fools who upgraded to the pro version. It's an absolute con. Get a decent VPN client and don't waste money on this. Honestly these guys should get removed from the App Store for false advertising.

Why I couldn’t retire it?. Hello Dev, I am an old user of this app probably back to July 2017, at that time it doesn’t have its vpn feature yet, and no subscription fees, it was the best one of few online privacy apps that I trusted. I really really enjoyed it, but since I changed a new phone, as I downloaded and pressed restore, nothing happened. Now I can’t even use it? Come on Dev, why? I am a bit disappointed, hope you can fix my issue Five stars for the excellent product as a Cheer up, but I can’t use it anymore......

Useless. I downloaded this because I hoped I would have access to the less vanilla world google offers. It switches to duck duck go safe mode which is worse than just vanilla google. Why would anyone pay you

Not sure what’s going on. I downloaded the app awhile ago and when I seen it wasn’t free I deleted it again. Now I’m looking at it again and there’s a review for the app that I didn’t leave but my username is on it. Something sketchy happening here.

Bait’n’Switch. EXPENSIVE! The subscription info should emphasize that the charge is $6.95 PER WEEK and should do so BEFORE one subscribes! Sets up an auto-subscribe option only and the ONLY way to unsubscribe is to do so through the somewhat obscure “Subscriptions” settings in The App Store itself. (Even so, I unsubscribed the only way possible—through my “Subscriptions” on The App Store—and STILL was charged for another week!) The interface is oversimplistic—I realize it’s TOR (or a VPN), but COME ON! A FEW settings would be helpful and a way to unsubscribe through the app itself. Offers a 7-day “Free” trial, then makes it very difficult for any but knowledgeable iOS users to unsubscribe from this EXPENSIVE (for what it does) app! AND I have no confidence that it is, in fact, not “scraping” my transmitted data, as I don’t have enough control through the interface to see what’s going on past my local router. DO NOT TRY OR BUY!

Bs app. Blocks websites on cellular networks on my IOS device. Such as Dogpile or DuckDuckgo. No contact support feature.

Annoying ads. I was so excited to use this browser especially now, when our browsing history is going to be easily collected and sold by the internet providers. It is working fine but the annoying ads are driving me crazy, there is constantly a red play button jumping all over the screen. How can I get rid of it?

It is a new world. I have been a Tor user for years and in the beginning, it was a challenge to use. With the newer versions, especially this one, most of those challenges have been overcome. Please try this version. You won't be disappointed.

Not a prob yet with install or use. I downloaded the app a few weeks ago to my iPad. Haven't had a single problem with it yet. Easy to use, very clean and haven't had the first problem. Hate it took me this long to start using it.

True to Tor. Haven't spent a whole lot of time using it but it's great so far. The pop up ads for the free version are really the only thing that I found that isn't cool. They are frequent and the button bounces around so you have to deal with them. But the browser itself is clean and easy to use.

Works well. The TOR browser is simple to navigate does provide decent anonymity while surfing. I have a personal website and home server, I am able to access my website, but unable to connect to my Synology server because it cannot verify the IP address. Good browser overall.

Tor Browser Appication. I've been using this without any issues, Doesn't matter what type of operating system you have, This works great and really gets you're Internet access safe and secure. So far the best free Tor program I've used to date.

Use Tor. SNOWDEN: "If you’re not using Tor you’re doing it wrong." This is always my go to tool when I need to look something up and not want to see ads about it for the rest of my natural life. I use it on my phone in place of Chrome and on my laptop when needed. 4 stars because back tabbing is very temperamental and I don't know why.

Worth looking into. A free application with minimal ads to work around, it's a small price to pay for the peace of mind that comes with actual anonymity on the net. With everything that's going on in the world and seemingly everyone looking over your shoulder, you might want to consider what your privacy is worth.

I’ve been getting billed for a subscription I didn’t authorize. Wish I rate it zero stars I’ve been getting billed for this app and had no idea, I downloaded the app used it for ten mins then deleted it little did I know it signed me up for a subscription and have been billing me. Shady business tactics. I for sure want a refund. You guys can either give it to me or I will call my cc provided let them know what’s going on and get the charges reversed and hopefully this app will be black listed by the cc provided. Don’t wanna go there but I will if I have too.

Speedy TOR Browser. This TOR browser, unlike others, is comparatively very speedy. It has lots of traditional browser features too, unlike competitors. Moreover, it works seamlessly with my VPN. I love this product and the vendor's offer of the pro version in exchange for my honest review. No negative aspects encountered. Great product!

ALMOST UNUSABLE. There are WAY too many ads. The ads render it almost completely useless. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star was because you can still kind of use it, but barely. Update: it works perfectly now! The ads aren't as bad as they were and it's much easier to use!

First time using Tor...so far, so good. After hearing enough experts suggest using Tor for secure browsing, I decided to try it. It will take a bit to get used to using, only after using the usual for so many years, but so far it works great, easy, and I will feel better knowing I am considerably more safe from prying eyes.

Helpful and intuitive.. I agree with a lot of the others reviewing that bring up the fact that there are many options available on the App Store, but most of them are very bad. Lol. This app is smooth, reliable, and hasn't failed me yet. Definitely recommended.

Privacy as promised. After hearing the recent ruling allowing ISP's to sell our browsing history I decided to give TOR a try. It works great and keeps my history private, as it should be. The only real other choice is to set up a local VPN which is much more of a pain that downloading this great browser. Give it a try!

Works Great So Far. I've gotten really annoyed with all of the targeted ads recently so I'm willing to try anything to prevent targeting. All of the reviews are fairly positive so I'm optimistic. I've tried it for a little while and I haven't run into any issues with websites or speed of the browser.

Great browser for deep searches. I love the community. The help in deep web searches and the comradeship that is available to freedom-loving people who want anonymity from prying eyes is second to none. It is stable, quick and have many "traditional" browser functions as well.

Crooked Developers. I’m kinda angry and want my money back. When I download Tor Browser initially I was offered a free premium upgrade for a 5 star review which I did. I didn’t get my free upgrade so I purchased the app. When I updated it VIA the App Store Tor Browser turned in to / updated to TorVPN and now wants me to pay 4 bucks a week to use an app I already purchased. I want my money back NOW! How does Apple allow this scam to take place? My only guess would be that Apple gets a slice of the pie! I STILL WANT MY REFUND.

Pop ups??. I constantly got a pop up video the last time I tried to use it. It's an annoying "red play arrow" that gets in the way. Then, I did a review to get the pro version, and apparently, the annoying pop up stops. So, five stars now.

First experience using TOR. I am obviously a rook when it comes to all of this but my curiosity has been unbearable. A little slow when loading page but I will sit here all night if I have to. I like that they have made it so uncomplicated.

Not cool. Easy to Use for Any Purpose. The app is easy to use and from what I can tell it appears to be effective. Given today's security environment and ubiquitous surveillance I would encourage everyone to use this or a similar app as much as possible. The more people that use these apps the more effective they become.

Best of Hidden Browsing. I love TOR because it has a built in VPN to protect your identity, plus it makes accessing information which is otherwise not found when using mainstream browsers. It's fast, easy, and no different from browsing other than your access is a bit more unrestricted.

Almost Perfect- Audio. IF this app actually does what it says it does and protects your browsing by using Tor protocols, then it is the best one I have tried. Woulda been 5 stars but I had to deduct a star because- unlike Chrome/Safari/Firefox- audio playback from the browser does not work with the screen locked. This is pretty basic folks- please fix it!

5 stars. Couldn't be happier with the service. Great app, great speed, and limited ads. I never write reviews but after trying to find a tor browser that was quick enough on my phone I wanted to help out others that this is the one to use .

How do I keep it on?. The “VPN” display on my top left corner on my phone keeps turning off no matter what I do. Whether or not I keep the app open in the background it will stay on for a couple minutes then just turn itself off. Am I doing something wrong? Does background app refresh need to be on to keep it up or it this just a glitch? I payed for the dang thing, why is it acting funny? Plz help

Honestly.... This review is to obtain the pro version of the app for free. So far I have not experienced any problems with the app. If problems arise and are not fixed, then I will change my review accordingly. At the time of this review I have only used the browser an hour at most.

I'm Happy. I am a new user of this web browser. The default search engine is bing which is a change for me. I am used to Google. Otherwise it seems easy to use and I am happy to have a means of protecting my information.

Best Tor Powered Browser On The App Store. This is by far one of the best Tor powered browser on the app store, there are some minor problems like not being able to continue to browse after you leave the app for a few minutes unless you restart the app, but I hope they can fix this easily. Overall it's a good fast browser.

Great browser. I downloaded this browser to help keep my browser history from being sold to my ISP. I had doubts because I read it was slow but it is just as fast as the competition so far.

Stable and functional. Wasn't looking for anything fancy. Just a way to do searches for stuff and not have them appear all over my Facebook feed. This seems stable and works for me. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Quite the decent browser!. Doesn't seem too slow, especially for the fact it has built in TOR connections to help with privacy concerns is a really nice that others would be smart to look into on their own platforms.

Nice app, very convenient. I never thought deep web browsing was possible. This browser offers complete anonymity and runs really fast even when I'm using an additional VPN. This is a must have for deep web browsing. And the best part is that it's free!

They're watching. This is a great app and the browser speed is just as fast as safari or chrome. If you're looking for something that at least makes you feel a little more secure in light of recent decisions made by our government this is it.

Fast and secured browsing.. I have been looking for a decent browser for my iOS devices. Safari is ok. But it was not always happy when I am using heavy loaded image oriented sites or when I need vpn. This browser is decent and provides security. I recommend.

Way better than expected. Way faster than I thought it was gonna be, and suits my needs really well. Decided to try my best to maintain some anonymity in the midst of using an iPhone. Easy to use, but I wish it had customizable search engines as ixquick isn't an available option for default search engine.

For Tor. With bills being passed and network monitoring these days it's almost crucial to have a browser that protects your anonymity from prying eyes. I feel much more comfortable now that I have Tor and I highly suggest you find any program that does just that.
