Best Shmup Ever with a minor problem!. One of the best Updates in video game history. It’s so much fun on mobile and Console. The New ships are amazing and all the new weapons and soundtracks are so cool, not to mention the secret bosses. My small problem is I found out the Red Baron was a ship that you could unlock. So I found out how to get to this secret boss that you can unlock. I go on Mobile. I get to the Red Baron on my first try, and I beat the Red Baron on my first try... but then I don’t unlock the Red Baron. I was really disappointed, but I can still unlock it on Console. I hope you guys read this and add the Red Baron to Mobile Version if the best Shmup Ever.

Freaking amazing. I leave about 1 app review a year and this game is it. So dang hard and so amazing. I’d love to see this grow into something epic.

Mobile needs the 5th ship. Steredenn is a great game with many wonderful aspects. The new update has improved it grately, however it has come to my attention that mobile doesn't have the red Baron ship, all other platforms do. That's my only issue, but other than that, grate game!!!

Amazing!. For those who like old arcade games, this is a modern version of a side scroller that is amazing. So much fun to play!

Good game. It’s a 4.75 stars for me but that’s not an option so 5 it is. It’s really fun and the controls are easy enough but they can be a little inconvenient and times with the accidental weapon swapping. Adding more ships would be great and even more weapons would be awesome too. I give it 4.75 because there is an RNG aspect and some bosses are harder than others and also depending on their attack pattern it can be harder or easier. Otherwise excellent

Read cool idea. Do you know what will be cool if when you destroy the mother ship it won’t blow up but that frigate that is destroyed at the beginning will fly in and shoot a giant laser to destroy it that would be cool also can you increase the heath on the fury because it’s a good ship and it has a really cool ability but it only takes like two hits from bosses to destroy it

Best 2D Shooter Out There. Tons of fun, great dynamic forms of enemies and bosses, despite its repetitive nature it doesn’t get boring due the variability in outcomes each time through. Great game overall.

It’s a great game. Everything about the game is fun, accept black bars on the sides of the screen for the iPhone XS Max. Can you possibly fix that?

This game could’ve been so much better. This game could have been so much better if it had actual levels and progression. Currently it is just like any other infinite run game, it gets old pretty quick. Would have been great if I could actually upgrade ship, weapons, and the enemies and the bosses got more challenging with the levels.

Daily run not working iPhone 8. Love the game and graphics but really disappointed that the ‘daily run’ feature is stuck on an infinite load every time I try it. It does this on my home and data networks.

no progression from run to run. start all over.. no bonuses or progression carry over once you die. you start all over again like an arcade game. that isn’t the rogue-like type of game i like. have some type of progression to make you slowly stronger. anything, even the tiniest bit of progression makes the runs have a little purpose. would be 5 stars if they added something like that. look at wayward souls, rogue legacy, etc... for guidance.

Beautiful Game ✨. “Hands down this game is good, but I kinda wanted to see if the developers can add an archive mechanic in the game so you can see what kinds of weapons, enemies, bosses, Secrets, etc, you unlocked during each run you play, if this game can get it then this will be The Game of the Century of the Mobile Gaming Space”.

Tons of fun, fast paced, well made. Great game. Levels are randomly generated which makes each replay enjoyable. I purchased for a pick-up-and-play game for short bus rides, but I will play at home for hours.

I keep playing it. I'd almost almost buy a controller just for this game. Controls are as good as they can be for being on a touch screen

Hands down my favorite side view shoot ‘em up on iOS. Doesn’t seem like this game gets a lot of play. A shame—a hidden gem for shoot ‘em up fans.

Binary Stars update. I had been aware of this game from Wanderbot’s YouTube/Twitch channel and got it when it first came out on iOS with version 1. Since then, I’ve been a fan of the game. So far, I have access to the 4 ships and they really do add major gameplay changes. New power ups, new weapons and improvements on the old weapons too. Right now I have only one complaint is with the Specialist ship in later stages because I have observed performance drop with lots of bullets on the screen. It is especially bad if the device goes into night time mode and dropping bots and swapping them sometimes doesn’t take with the touch controls. Movement also is buggy only for the Specialist with two booster drones and max bots. But this is just one of the ships and doesn’t detract from the rest of the game.

Yeaya!. Fast paced and glorious! The best part is, you always know that it was you fault when you die.

Hey are you stealing??. I bought this on iPad and iPhone, same Apple ID. It’s asking me to pay 3.99 again on my iPhone, even though it’s installed on my iPad. What’s the deal?? Please fix bug!

Pretty great. Not usually a big fan of this genre, but this game is awesome. Some of the guns I avoid 99% of the time or even start a run over if I see something awful for my first gun drop. I’d say I put in 10-12 hours before getting the #10 iOS score. It gets progressively harder the farther you go, in a very balanced, good way. Fun-to-learn patterns give this high replay value. If you’re skeptical about the controls, this is also available on Steam, but I rarely had problems with the intuitive touch controls.

Fit Screen. I love the game I had doubts about it because it didn’t seem my type. But after playing it it quickly changed my mind. Do please make the screen fit for IPhone X’s and above please!!

Awesome. If you like games like R-Type, Gradius and like rogue like elements then you need to get this game!

Real good. Clearly a labor of love, pulled off with skill & style. Accumulating powerups as long as you survive is addictive in the best way. I've only been playing for a few days but I'm hooked + looking forward to more

Where you left out. Awesome game... I just wish it will give you the option of starting over where you left out and not from the beginning every time you get kill

Red Baron!. I beat the Red Baron, and because the playable version isn’t in the game, it feels kinda worthless Otherwise a great game 5/5

You want a good game, here it is. This is by far the best bullet hell game out there on the iOS

Excellent. Shmup on touch controls done right; Only issue is that game starts in high sensitivity. Just the right amount of progression whether you’re just playing a round to unwind or want to go hard into the loops. The massive and final expansion should be here at some point. Can’t wait. Edit: IT’S HERE GO TELL GRANDPA

Needs a few major improvements. I am a big fan of this game, the only things that I could complain about are the stubborn drag to move controlls and the fact that this game is not scale to fit the iPhone X. If you fix these two things the game will be perfect.

5/5 game except for the fact that Red Baron isn’t playable on mobile.. Why?. One of the most fun games I’ve ever played yet the Red Baron isnt on mobile. I’ve seen talks abt how there would be control issues but I think it would be fine. Please devs. Just add it.

Good and well done. I have literally no issues or complaints about the game. The soundtrack is hype. The ships are unique balanced and really cool in design. The amount of detail that was able to be put into a game of this 8bit style is astonishing. I never get bored due to the challenging ever changing bosses and the amount of unique weapons and upgrades (power ups). 10/10 would recommend.

Almost perfect. This game is the perfect game to play when you’re bored or even when you’re not. It’s fast paced, exciting, and visually amazing. Hoping there are more updates in the future though, like the ability to use more ships or to customize your current ship.

Spaceship bad. I’m extremely offended by the amount of violence in this game! So much shooting and blowing up, I can’t stand it. The developers should completely remake the game for kids 3 and under that educates the youth of this country.

Control issues. As one would expect with any SHMUP type game with touch controls this one is held back from greatness by the control scheme. The placement of the pause button is troublesome as well, especially when playing as the Fury ship, it takes 3-4 presses to finally register and by then I’ve already either taken damage that I shouldn’t have or I’ve teleported across the screen into a hail of bullets. It is a really fun game despite that.

The screen perhaps..... I liked the game ang waited for an update. I really like its difficulty, very hardcore but as i wated for an update, the screen is still not at full screen on my iphone x -.-

Amazing game. Wonderfully responsive and polished gameplay, addictive yet satisfying roguelike game mechanics, pretty graphics, and all wrapped up in a “pay once” package. I nasty micro transactions, grinding or ‘coins’ to be seen. I play this game a lot out of pure enjoyment and desire to get better at it, not pressure to collect coins! PS thanks for making the upgrade to V2 free!

heart racing. The pixel style is colorful and offer a more detailed feel for the sci fi lovers. This game produces a level of excitement i don’t usually feel for these types of space shooter games. You have more control over your weaponry than other shooters (that auto fire). The music deals the deal.

Potential. This game has so much potential to be awesome but need a few things fixed. First off, the game sporadically stops responding while my fingers are still on the touch screen. Maybe a problem with my phone? But I have no issues with any other apps and I’ve seen other complaints about controls. Daily run never loads, and some of the power ups like “get another chance at the wave” don’t work. Just seems buggy. Overall it’s fun and I still play it

Not a roguelite but amazing. It's missing a key component of roguelites: the meta, eg. all roguelites have a meta game where each run gives you the chance to permanently unlock a weapon or item for other runs. I've done about 4 runs and haven't unlocked anything. That said, this game is great! The controls are simple and responsive, there's a decent variety to weapons and powerups, and a sense of progression during a run.

Control issues blemish an otherwise good experience. I really want to like this game. The gameplay is right up my alley. However, it has drag to move controls and, unless I’m missing something, there is no way to set it so that movement matches 1:1 with the position of my finger and my ship stays where my finger is. This may not bother everyone, but it renders the game almost entirely unplayable for me. Precise movement is very important, and my brain absolutely refuses to adapt to this control scheme and allow movement to feel tight, predictable, and intuitive. If I were basing my rating entirely on how much enjoyment I get out of the game it would be 1 star. I just can’t enjoy playing the game at all due this issue. However, that seems pretty unfair to the devs of what otherwise seems to be a great title, and I know this won’t bother everyone, so I settled on a middling 3 stars. I really hope a future update adds a 1:1 movement option, but until then, this game will sadly have to hang out in the ‘not on this iPhone’ section of my purchase history :(

Really fun so far.... Should I start out by saying “I never leave reviews, but for this game...”? Umm nah 😝. In short, this game is pretty amazing so far. Old-school mixed with some enticing new weaponry, phenomenal pixel art, and a metal soundtrack? Sign me up! Two super minor complaints and then I’ll shut up. 1) The Arena seems to be just one boss fight and done? A “Boss Rush” mode similar to Beat Hazard would be gosh dang swell. 2) We’re in space. Bullet casings don’t just fall straight down in space I’m pretty sure. C’mon devs 😁. Seriously though very nice work with this!

Roguelike space shooter. Very good game, had me restarting over and over again, yet I can't find myself getting angry at it. Excellently crafted.

Upgrades. I just don't understand why there are no upgrades for the ships so I can already slowly progress. How am I supposed to get further if I can't level up anything after I've died. There are no permanent upgrades so I just always end up getting as far as I did before cos I'm using the same level ship. And the upgrades I get during battle don't seem to do much. I usually only find 1 maybe 2 that I could really use. But I still like this game and I'm still trying to get further. Trying to figure things out. Cos I mean I payed for the game. I should be able to get further I hope. Without upgrading ships.

Wish there was X screen size. Love the game but I wish that it supported the screen size of the iPhone X

Addicting. I've always really enjoyed the arcade shooter genre and this game has smooth controls and is enjoyable without going over the top.

Fun but repetitive. This game is a great time killer, but it gets really stale, really fast. And every time you die you always start from the beginning with no upgrades to your name, I hope you guys add more things in the future, for now 4 stars

A Rare gem. I don't rate many apps/games but people need to know just how great this game is. It has everything.. great controls, great graphics, awesome music, tons of weapons, loads of stages, impressive bosses. I could go on and on. Then to top everything off the price! 5 stars!

Worth the money.. I just got the game, and it's excellent. It has a large variety of weapons, different levels (they are randomized) and a good challenge. It's not that easy, so it's really fun testing my skill and improving it.

Honestly it’s a waste of money. The game is crap so many other games are like it and are FREE. This was a waste of my money and time do not get it

A little too difficult. You only get one life, you die you start all over again. I got to the 5th stage , but I'm so sick of playing the beginning stages over and over. Otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating.

Addicting isn't the right word. ...obsession is... Jesus Christ this game latches onto you with 80 bajillion hooks... soul deep... the music stays you in and keeps you wanting more... death after death after death. Have a love hate relationship with the no save feature, but it reminds me of being a kid and having to try even harder because you didn't want to turn off the console... so it's a "get gud" moment Haha. 15/10 will kill my thumbs again.

Totally good game. If you like shooting things in space and don't mind or even like pixel art then you'll probably think this games totally owns bones. I surely do!

High quality game. Gets kinda old though. Super HQ gameplay and feel. I get bored after about 10 minutes though. Lots of room to expand.

Best bullet hell rogue-lite on iOS. This is a true 5 star app. Daily challenges ala Binding of Isaac, interesting and compelling weapons; items; builds. I paid 13 Dollars usdm for the steam version. I honestly play this port more often. Perfect bite sized play sessions, ideal for car rides or long bathroom breaks. Wonderful all day experience grinding points for the leader boards. The controls are tight. There's a souls like approach to difficulty. Death is a learning experience. Hindsight will often reveal that mistake was your own and not a cheap mechanism that synthetically increases challenge. Graphics are lovably retro. Giant pixels adorn this love letter to my childhood. It exudes a nostalgic appeal reminiscent of late SNES or early PlayStation. The music is outstanding. A driving heavy metal chip tune score accompanies the excitement. Perfectly rounding out the experience while simultaneously adding another layer of nostalgic style. The only criticism I can levy against it is: Give me more. Steredenn is one of the few mobile games that has captured what it is to be a top class contender. Buy it, it's cheap, compete for glory on the leaderboards. Mysterious Odor, over and out.

Total package. Great music and sound, cool pixel graphics, awesome gameplay. "Tough but fair." Roguelike structure lends itself to quick playthroughs. Obvious that a lot of thought and care went into this game. If you think it looks cool but are hesitant for any reason, go for it!

Epic. Super fun old school shooter with metal soundtrack. Never gets old. Can’t be beat!

All the right pieces. I think this game is great, I have really enjoyed it so far. I don't think the rate of weapon drops is high enough. Also the rate at which you upgrade weapons feels a tad slow / not particularly exciting and minuscule. My only real complaint is that each play through, while random, feels rather similar and does not differ significantly enough.

Ridiculously fun. A challenge for sure but you get better as you play. The first couple games I thought it would be impossible to win. Now I am at the 6th boss and getting closer with every death. Beautiful pixel art. This game is worth it.

Why 5 Stars??. Wow! This game is an AMAZING arcade shooter! Hands down it's one of my favorite game of 2017!! I'm not even using a controller just on screen controls which are customizable. The artwork, sounds, and music are FANTASTIC!! It really gets you pumped while playing. The replay ability of this game is incredible. There are awesome bosses at the end of each level and you get repairs and rewards to choose from after defeating them. There are so many weapon choices with their own unique style as well as perks. The levels are also randomized to an extent. The game is difficult but that's a good thing in an arcade shooter. I haven't experienced ANY technical issues on my IPhone 6s+ running iOS 10.3.1 and the game looks and plays amazingly on this screen. This game is also a full PREMIUM experience and is well worth its price!! Thank you devs for a GREAT GAME and a great arcade shooter experience. You've made a fan out of me!!!

This is the arcade shooter you have been looking for. This game is awsome! It is hard while rewarding enough to keep you coming back. The weapons are awsome and all have a use or nitch that they work really well on, will still being usable for other enemys. This game ROCKS,

Finally. Been waiting for a game in this genre with this much nostalgia, yet, at the same time, originality. It perfectly encapsulates the difficulty of the old arcade games, and makes you tear your hair out when you can't get past stage 3. I need more content, but overall: the lack of upgrades, ship modifications, and gameplay modes really makes me feel like I'm in the 1980's. Updates desperately needed, (obviously.)

ALMOST perfect!. This is great! The only thing that I would change is slightly upping the times that different guns show up. I got up to the third boss in one run with still using just the blaster (and not by choice). Other than that, EASILY worth the money. In fact, I would have probably paid more for this little gem. BUY IT! Edit: also, one more little thing I've noticed. Occasionally while moving my ship around, the screen will become unresponsive (which obviously can be an issue with dodging enemies/bullets/whatever). However, it isn't a lot, and I would still recommend the game.

The Wayward Souls of shoot 'em ups. Have heard the comparison of this game to wayward souls because of the aesthetics and rogue-like aspect and I think the comparison is spot on. Randomly generated levels is a game changer for this genre and makes things a lot more interesting.

Great screen controls and addicting!. I hate touch screen controls... but this game does away with that concern. A controller will aways feel better, but this game erased the concerns of playability within the first 2 minutes. Also I keep dying at the 3rd boss a lot but the different weapons and upgrade keep making me want to push forward and smash his face! This game is a very satisfying play. Worth every bit of money! I can't wait to see what updates will hold!

Worth your time. This game checks off everything on the good game checklist for me: it's infinitely replayable, challenging, but rewarding, and filled to the brim with good visuals and music. It's a solid, great experience all around. If you enjoy rogue-lites and shoot-em-ups, you owe it to yourself to try Steredenn. I've also been playing it with the touch controls and I have no reason yet to connect a controller. I'm not really good enough to get very far, so perhaps it's necessary in the more difficult stages, but the touch controls are perfectly good for me otherwise.

LOVE IT!. F....n amazing! Best game I played in a long time in my iPhone, it's so addictive, it's just easy to get the hang of it, it so good that I already been preferring playing it over other games in my PC and PS, really, no kidding! The game never gets boring, graphics, sound, the weapons, the mechanics, it is just so f...n good!

Needs some work. Awesome games but it tends to heat up my phone regardless if my phone is on Airplane Mode, WiFi is off and the screen brightness is low. Please fix ASAP.

Difficult but satisfying. Excellent graphics, sounds, music, and gameplay. Play for a minute or an hour. Really fun.

Touchy about the touchscreen. This game is lots of fun, reminds me of RType and Gradius, etc. It really isn't designed for touchscreen controls, though. I'd say that 75% of my damage comes from the controls alone. Buy it if you have a controller, but beware if you play touchscreen only.

Love LOVE This Game. It's really tough and really fun. Tough but fair. Plays great, looks great, sounds great. The artwork is deceptively simple, and stunning. LOTS OF FUN! . I do wish it would save my scores locally so that I can try to beat my "own personal best" Right now all I can remember is which number boss I got to.

Really fun game!. I had a lot of fun playing this game although it gets pretty difficult latter on, it's still my top 3 favorite games.

An actual good rouge-lite space shooter. Nothing to say except this is a smooth, pretty, and fun rouge-lite bullet hell shooter. It's difficult but very learnable and approachable. It also oozes style.

10/10. Would highly recommend
