Help, please.. I am unaware of how to use the co-op function as it doesn't show up. Do I need to beat the game on all difficulties to be able to play co-op? I just finished normal mode but have yet to see the option to play co-op. Otherwise a great game and a blast to play.

It's Crimsonland. If you don't know what Crimsonland is, look it up. It's an incredible twin stick pc game from like 8 years ago. You can buy the full game in app for 4.99 this is really just a demo. It's effing incredible. I highly recommend.

A fun little game.. This is a fantastic game. It's very repetitive but fairly challenging none the less. There are missions and variations that need to be opened up. This is worth downloading with out a doubt.

Co-op. Game needs pulled from the store, co-op does not work in anyway. Good solo game but I did not buy it for that!

Awesome dual stick shooter.. Great game, this should set an example to other shooters in this genre. And I would also like to see some awesome updates as well and I will continue to support the game.

Classic. Superb game just like it was on the PC! Like others, I remembered about the game and low and behold it is in the App Store! Purchased it to support them. Very glad they kept everything almost the same! Definite recommendation!

A Bloody Good Time. I hope the developers see this review I love the game I first played it on console I would go for hours playing it on multiplayer with friends I'm a fan of 10ton's and have been for a long time however now the ugly truth the controllers need to be fixed and updated why would Anyone pay 9.99 or 10$ on a game that counts your accuracy when you can't do anything but shoot all directions it has a option in the settings but it needsdon't work do I need to pay for it to work ? people are not going to pay for the full version knowing it hasn't been updated or fixed in so long I mean 10$ for a mobile game is steep but worth it if done right and until you fix it ya won't be getting it from me but if you added a shoot botton on the screen and a move botton on the other it would sell more but sadly I'm deleting it I want to get Jydge because I love that game but This turned me against that.

Add more?. I played this game on Xbox and I was glad to find it on mobile too. So I can play it whenever I’m out and about. I didn’t purchase the whole game as it would be more money spent. Maybe make more free please? Including no new content has been added in forever. Also, where’s the co op option?

Awesome. I played this game all the time back on the old school PC days. Love it on the iPad. However, level 2.10 on hard has me stopped. I don't understand why you don't earn the power ups from XP from killing the splitting spiders like you do with everything else. Without those that level is basically impossible. At least for me anyways.

Best shooter ever. One of the best arcade shooter i have played ever. I a, playing this crazy game since it original pc release in 2003. And playing this on ipad is a dream coming true. Thanks 10tons

Can't play co-op over wifi. Good game, but what's the idea behind having to buy Mfi controllers for playing co-op?! Stupid if you ask me. Make it over the wifi. Even stupid golf games can be played against each other over wifi)) and this jewel should definitely have this feature.

Blurry on iphone X. Not sure if it’s an OLED issue with this game or some kind of bug but the graphics look fuzzy and not sharp on the iphone X. i was previously playing it on the 7 and it looked nice on there.

One of the better dual stick shooters.. I love it, but I'll give it five stars when/if they add more maps with some variety. Then it's a five star. Runs super smooth and controls great, by the way. Highly satisfying and addictive.

The ultimate survival game. More than 10 years ago, I remember going to my friends house where he wanted to show me a new game. That game was Crimsonland. We spent hours, days and months trying to see who can survive the longest. Over time I forgot about this. Focusing on my own studies, business and other things. Then for some reason, I thought about it, I wanted to play it again, and strangely enough I checked the App Store. And here it is. After playing it for a couple of days I realized, this is the same Crimsonland it was 10 years ago, and that is a good thing. It is the most fun I have had in games for a long time. The ultimate survival game. It does not strive to be anything else. You get dropped off on an alien planet, your mission; survive the onslaught. Along the way you collect a huge variety of guns in order to shoot the mix of spiders, zombies, aliens in all shapes,colors and sizes. As you take them down you eventually level up, this allows you to pick one perk out of four random ones. These perks can give you an edge in battle. They differ from faster reload times, to larger clips, instant health, damage boost, becoming radioactive, poisoning bullets, and more. A lot more. But even with all these things, you will die, but that is the idea. You have to try and see how long you can survive. I cannot stress enough how good this game is. The ultimate survival game. Good luck, soldiers.

Nostalgic and better then ever. I remember playing this as a flash game when I was 11 or so. I’m 25 and am so stoked this is on the App Store. As addicting as it was when I was a kid. The original wave shorter

Fun!. This is a super fun game! My only complaint so far is that you can't pick a different weapon to start with or switch weapons without running over a weapon bubble.

So fun. This is a very fun and challenging top down shooter. It has a great variety of weapons, power ups, enemies and perks. Really like Quest and Survival modes. Performance is very good on my iPad 4 , with lightning fast loading times and smooth framerate. Works great with a controller too. This is a classic.

Finally!!. I played this game sooo much when I was little but now that it's on here my life is complete!! The fact that I can play one of my favorite games anytime I want and it's still the same is just perfect. If more developers did this then the AppStore would make a bunch more money. I do have one complaint though. The co-op needs have wifi capabilities and not just local gamepad connection. Other than this I love it

Talk about a blast from my past. This is an excellent remake for the iPhone. I was in 7th grade when this game first came out for the PC (11+ years ago) and .. Just WOW!! Big ups to the guys at 10tons for this!!!

Old school top down shooter to satisfy your urge to paint the screen red. Think Smash T.V. for the SNES but with an arsenal of unique guns, powerups, perks, different game modes and more hordes of monsters than you can shake your wee lil blow torch at 🤘🏻Survival modes are addictive, challenging, and fun slaying thousands of rabid packs of aliens, lizard men, and multiplying spideroids all the while trying to rake up the most points before being swarmed to death. Figuring out effective weapon+perk combinations is rewarding and satisfying. Trying to beat your high score in the survival modes will keep you playing well after unlocking the games weapons and perks.

Love this game!. But like majority of the awesome games out here. There is no APPLE TV support. I purchased a Nimbus controller to get the real feel of a duel stick shooter! Once again Apple thanks for your magical 🦄💩 experience!

Amazing game. Years ago when I was a kid I used to play this game on the computer whenever I needed to kill time. Now almost 7 years later I remembered it and found it on the App Store. This game is simple but one of the best apps I've ever played, definitely the most entertaining.

I play on my ps4.. For me the menu is at the bottom left of my screen and everything else on the screen is black.

Awesome!. Used to play this on PC; super stoked I can play on the phone. Looks like there are some new quirks from the old version, which just makes it that much more fun. Worth every penny.

Dead Bodies Everywhere!. Pretty awesome game. I just wish the multiplayer didn't require someone using the same wifi connection.

That last level though. The ultra survival game where you unlock perks and weapons and more game modes through the quests. Each level has 10 stages that you need to survive and kill all the enemies to win. But... The last stage of the last level is impossible. Boss monsters spawn like normal monsters and rip your face off like a stick of butter through a hot blender. You will not survive but keep coming back over and over to try again. Get. This. Game.

Needs more or is this a dead game. Love the game but ... co-op does not work and all around needs more to it like upgrades new lvls or a lvling system idk there is so much you can do with this game but it hasn’t been touched in a year .... note I play every chance I get

Paint it Red. Crimson land is a top down shooter developed by 10Tons as a PC game before being ported to mobile devices for fans of the game to relieve old the era of old school shooters. The controls are top notch, the enemy and weapon diversity is great to a point were no enemy nor weapon seems Overpowered as the game solely relies on the player's skill to survive the onslaught. Best Part about Crimson land is that you unlock the full game at any price which is unheard of in the App Store so yeah the Developers at 10Ton know how to make a quality product.

Great port of a classic PC game. Crimson land is an old, but awesome computer game that translates very well to the mobile platform. The design is much the same (which is a good thing!) but with added progression mechanics via the use of quest mode to unlock perks and weapons for survival and the other modes. Very happy to have found it on iOS!

Great game. This is one of my favorite games I am a fan of the doom games and this game is a lot like them I love the gore and the music to I hope you guys add more to this game soon I would like that a lot

Everything great about a top-down shooter. This is one solid game, very satisfying to play, addictive with beautiful graphics. This is a tremendous improvement of the original Crimson Land (I remember it being called Crimson World but I don’t think it is still available). There is plenty of blood, dozens of guns, perks, and enemies. This highly polished version reminds me of another old twin stick top-down shooter called “Blood n Guns”. The plethora of weapons, enemies and blood, even the general look of the game is very similar, but darker. One thing I liked about the game that I’d like to hopefully see in an update, was in survival modes, you could acquire armor, shield, health, perks, and they would build up on a meter. I think that would increase the playability of this game. Other things I’d love to see in future updates- I’d like to see another button for thrown items like grenades, flares, etc. The ability to zoom in 2x to see the character details better More levels in a future update, game modes, possible death match, online? possible ways to permanently upgrade your character (story mode?) More complex missions involving rescue, moving to different locations, etc. This is definitely a 5 Star game, the free version is great but if you enjoy twin stick shooters with lots of blood, guns, and upgrades, then you really owe it to yourself to drop $4.99 and buy the full version of Crimson Land. You pay more than that for an extra value meal anyhow. -Great job devs, I look forward to future updates!

Pay again?. Hey I paid for this game 18months or so ago and haven’t played it since, same account now your asking for payment again. Great game but not great enough to pay twice I was unaware it was a rental if that’s the case.. I’ve been loyal too have been playing this game since it came out around 20 years ago.

Just like the original PC version!!. I played Crimsonland nearly everyday when it first came out on PC in 2003 and just like the rest of the community we kept waiting for the sequel CL2.. And we still hope.. But i grabbed this app and i am just amazed because it feels just like playing the original game.. The touch controls are great but i'm sure hoping that the latest game controllers are supported.. for people like me that prefer the joystick for this type of game! @10Tons : I know that PS4 and PS Vita versions are out also but please release the game for PS3 you got players waiting!!!

Don't trust co-op. I love this game, I play it on my own plenty. But I downloaded it for co-op play with friends. The game says you must purchase the full version to play co-op. I gladly did. After the option didn't show up, I discover that you need an MFI gaming controller to play with friends. I buy 1 controller to test the waters and it works pretty good (pairing can be a pain). I buy three more and get excited for some carnage... Only one controller goes active. The rest remain paired but useless. Why is this so hard, 10tons?

Great mobile version. I tried this game on the computer, and it was great!then, I got it on my ps vita, then on my PS4, and they were both great. Then I got the full version on my phone, and it is the exact same game as on the PS4, which is very impressive.just one problem. I beat the game on grim difficulty, and the gun I go isn't very good. This is supposed to be a monument to me achievement, but all I got was a crappy weapon. Please make it better!

MFI controls not working. While touch controls work okay, this game is at its best with a physical controller. Unfortunately MFI controller support appears to be broken. The game freezes as soon as a controller is enabled. (I am using a MOGA controller with an iPhone 6)
