Volume doesn’t work and freezes. My daughter has been playing for a year and loves it but it has constant issues, the volume just doesn’t work now 100% of the time and the games crash and freeze or just don’t load. It’s such an amazing app and I would honestly rather pay like 3 or 5$ to get a better version than have this free one have constant issues that my 4 year old can’t play. I hope it gets an update I always check for updates but nothing.

Video stops playing. It's good when it works but the videos freeze and stop playing all together afterwards. Have had to reinstall it 3 times now in a short amount of time just to get the videos to play again.

Sesame street app. We love this app! From the time she was very tiny, my little girl loved watching /hearing the different songs. There’s a lot of music videos, with sesame street characters, and celebrity guests, utilizing different genres that everyone can enjoy. I am amazed at the enormity of content, especially for a free app! While it is true that there are some sound issues on a couple of the games, (with some of the games taking longer to load), the little bugs aren’t enough to deter my, now 3 year-old, daughter. So many different entertaining learning games! Not only do we have a lot of fun playing the games together, but each game allows an opportunity for further instruction between parent and child. Classic sesame street music and beloved sketches are included. I can honestly say that this app provides Years of inclusive learning entertainment and cannot recommend it highly enough.

This a great app!. My four year old has been using this app for over a year and he loves it! By far he uses it more than the other apps on my phone. I love the fact there are no commercials and that every game and video is educational and not wasting his time with silly stuff. My son has very limited time on my phone....maybe an hour on the weekend. So whatever I five him I want it to be time well spent. As always, Sesame Street lives up to my standards.

Buggy on iPad Pro. Audio isn’t working consistently in the current version. Games that had audio in earlier versions of the app are silent. Also, loading times seem to take forever- much longer than before. One positive is that the games don’t seem to crash as often as earlier.

Game Sound Not Working. My kid loves playing the games in this app but after I did the last iOS update the sound in the games no longer works. Very difficult to know how to dress up Elmo and Abby if you can’t hear what they are asking to be dressed as. 5 star app when the sound works!

Love this app!!!. I have wanted this app for years! I am so happy to have it now for my son. I used to have a playlist on you tube of Sesame Street songs for my daughter but this is so much easier. I hope they keep adding more songs and videos

Good but laggy and needs longer videos. I like this app, but whenever I try to play a game, it usually lags and then suddenly crashes. I tried to play, like, 4 games, and 3 out of 4 of them crashed. I don't know if it's my iPads fault or if it's this apps fault, but whatever it is, I don't like it. Also, the videos are normally 3 minutes long. I want 20 minute long videos. Full Elmo's World videos. Complete Sesame Street shows. I'm talking big. Anyway, if all of those needs were established, I would rate this app 5 stars. All the other things are awesome, and there is no ads or in app purchases. I hate in app purchases. Oh, one more thing, why do you have to sign in? Can you please explain to me that??? 😤

Great when it works. Ughhh…this am is FANTASTIC, when it works which is not a lot of the time. It either freezes going to a video or after playing a game. Constantly having to exit out.

Please remove the volume button.. On an iPad, Guided Access gives a parent the ability to disable the physical volume buttons. By having a volume control on every video within this app, children can turn it up to full volume at all times. With an autistic child, there’s just no way to avoid this. I find myself dreading the use of this app because it’s always being played at full volume and my ears are exploding (headphones are not an option for my son). Please, please, please, remove the on-screen volume control. Otherwise, my son loves this app and learns something every time he plays it. There are a few glitches here and there, and I wish there was a way to download certain games/videos so you could use the app without wifi, but overall this is a long-time favorite.

The sound only works about 10% of the time. It’s a great app on iPhone XS, however, the sound often doesn’t work on many games causing it to become an excersise in frustration for the parent and child.

Great ideas some game sizes off. I love this app and playing the different games with my daughter. Certain games the building the snow monsters and engineering with prairie dawn aren’t sized right for my screen, we can move the measuring tape and the different costume parts for the snow monsters are all the way at the bottom and can’t be dragged up.

Started Great but Needs Update. My daughter loves this app and has played it for over a year. Unfortunately, it desperately needs an update. The sound doesn’t work once you leave the main interface, so voice instructions are missing from games and videos have no sound. Many games freeze up during play, get stuck in loops, or simply lock up. Please fix this app!

Latest update messed up the sound. We love this app, but the most recent software update which was supposed to fix some kind of issue with the sound has actually removed the sound from all the games. It says to turn off the ringer silent switch on your device in order to hear it, but we use it on an iPad not a phone so it doesn’t have that switch that the iPhone has. Also it won’t even let you proceed with the games on silent. All you can do is close out that pop up and try another game. My 4 year old is devastated. I hope they fix this.

Good content. Keeps the kids interest teaching all the while, and they love the songs. We like that the kids can choose songs or games etc. I hope that content is updated so that the kids will come back for more. ??

Great kids game!. My 2 year old plays it and loves it! Videos and games easy for them to use! And doesn’t charge you for your kids enjoyment!

Sounds :(. So while I was playing this game (on my moms phone still using her phone) I noticed that sometimes the sounds just kick out. I have her phone at max volume and the sound dosent work. Then the sound randomly kicks in then out. I enjoy sesame street videos and games but I cant fully enjoy it when now I cant hear it half the time

Terrible update. The latest update is horrible. The app is so buggy, it lags and half the games freeze or crash the app. My toddler loves this app but I wish they had never done this last update. Hope we don’t have to wait a year before they fix what they screwed up. The buttons are too small. You can’t close a video or game. The horizontal/vertical flip doesn’t work. Y’all got some work to do!

Almost Perfect. We love the app & content but a recent update has changed the way to exit a video and now it is much harder for my toddler to navigate. Please change it back!

Love the app. We love the app however a lot of the games for one reason or another do not allow us to move the objects that need to be drug from one area to the other, rather it just selects the object and drags the whole screen causing the game to not work. Would love to see that improved.

Great app for learning. I love how it is bilingual but the volume does not work for some games and/or videos. Can we get this fixed? I have tried deleting the a app and reinstalling but nothing.

Good app. My daughter likes playing the games on this app and loves the cooking app with Cookie Monster. Gave the app 4 stars because we can only play until we get to putting the cookies in the oven. Can't turn the timer on, and we tried waiting but nothing works. Please fix that. Thank you

Games need work. The videos all work and are nice for my daughter to watch but the games don’t work. She tries to play the train game but there are not tracks showing at the bottom of the screen to drag to the train. The games do lag and the music keeps going even when I click out of the app. It’s a shame that Seaame Street is as big as it is but can’t get their app to function properly.

Many games do not function properly!!. My 6 yo autistic son loves this app. But some of the games in this app that require “swiping” end up moving the whole screen with it, or simply don’t work at all!! I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to get a 6yo, nonverbal, autistic kid to understand it’s not their fault and then have to sit through a half a§§ app! Screaming day in and out because no one is fixing the problems!!!

It doesn’t work most of the time.. This is one of the only apps that holds my daughter’s interest and doesn’t have ads so I was excited. For the first hour, there were zero issues. However, the longer I’ve had the app, it’s been more glitchy. I constantly have to turn guided access off to close and reopen the app or even restart the iPad because videos or games won’t work. They’ll display a black screen with a circle in the center that never fixes itself. Once that shows up, other parts of the app stop working. This happens every 1-2 videos or games so it’s constantly happening and it’s become incredibly annoying. Probably gonna have to delete the app because I can’t keep fumbling with this app every two seconds when it’s meant to hold my daughters attention long enough for me to get something important done.

Absolutely wonderful!. I love this app the videos are perfect for my 4 year old and she is learning so much from them! She loves the games that she can play in between videos, it’s so great!

You made a mistake….. My grandkid’s loved Sesame Street ever sence the very first episode but everybody I’m telling you THIS NEEDS TO STOP and here’s why every time someone makes a MEME it can ruin childhoods and Sesame Street ones are worse than you think it’s like 10 times worse a sesame meme has threatened to kill a CHILD if the. Memes stop it all stops just don’t make them its not hard

Please fix the issue!. My son loves the app. The videos work great. But the games still have a sound bug. The last update says it fixed a sound issue but we are fully updated and still not working. Please fix it.

Latest update doesn’t allow videos to play.. It takes multiple attempts at opening the app and closing it (quit) to get a video to play. Once a video plays if you try to go to the next video it doesn’t work and you have to quit the app and reopen and hope it works. When it doesn’t work it just sits at the black loading screen with the circle going.

Trouble. My autistic son LOVES this app, but we frequently run into trouble with some of the games not loading. Today the Cookie Thief puzzle loads a preview screen but there’s no start or play button 😭 HELP?

Hate the Update!. Definitely one of our favorite apps. Before the update I could make dinner while my daughter spent time on the app. Since the update she gets too frustrated. The x button is too small. The video thumbnails are too big and she keeps accidentally picking videos she doesn’t want. Videos are constantly pausing while watching. We miss the option to choose from 3 videos after finishing instead of being told what video is next. Miss having Favorites on the main screen. Now she can’t find them in her own. Can we bring back the previous version???

App not working. Hi, my toddler loves this app. It has everything my baby wanted to do. It has all the songs she loves, and the games she wants to play. But recently we can’t connect. The screen stays frozen. When we try to play a game, the error message pops up - the server refused the connection. Can you help advise how to solve the problem?

Like the content but some games have no sound. Why is there no sound on some of the games? My daughter has learned to just move on and pick something else but this was a source of aggravation for her when she would pick something and no sound comes out. This is of course after she patiently waits for it to load which isn’t always fast. Please fix these issues.

Grateful. I am so grateful for this app. It’s great when I’m trying to get something’s done and my daughter can play a learning game or watch her favorite character’s videos. She has started learning the alphabet in Spanish because of this app.

Update made it worse. First of all, why should I have to re-sign in every time I load it now. I need it in the car and I can't keep logging in for my 2 year old in the back seat. Also, the songs and videos should be available offline. When we're on an airplane or long trips where cell service isn't available the app is useless. Please change it ASAP.

Love it but some mini complaints. This whole app is great all together but I have 2 mini complaints. I’m a little sad this app isn’t made for Apple TV. I used to have Fire TV but I don’t anymore. Also, it’s too bad the full episodes are gone but it really doesn’t matter.

App is educational and fun but crashes too frequently. This app has a variety of educational games that are well done hence the 4 star. My 3 yr old loves it, but it’s full of bugs that freeze the game, crash the game completely, or makes some of the games inoperable. Please fix!!!

Glitchy!!!. We’ve been using this app for a couple years & loved it until the most recent update. Half the videos freeze within seconds of hitting play. The best part of the app was that my toddler could use it without my assistance & now he’s asking for help ALL the time. Not ok!

Cool app/ too many bugs. I downloaded this app for my 4yr old and while the games are fun & engaging- you aren’t able to hear anyone speak. There is background music & other sound fx but none of the dialogue works. I have turned the ringer on/off/on. Would be rated 5stars if the app actually worked.

Used to be great. My son loves, or I should say loved this app. But the most recent update has made the X button smaller and he has a really hard time hitting it. Even I struggle. Also the pictures for each video are bigger and it makes it harder for him to scroll and not accidentally pick one, when he does this and you add the fact that he has a hard time with the X, I have a very frustrated little boy. I soooo wish this app could be reverted back.

Constantly crashing. Needs to be available offline.. My 3 y/o twins love the games on this app, but the latest update has caused it to constantly crashed causing frustrated kiddos which equals a frustrated mom. Please fix this! Also, it would be very nice for these games to be available offline. I would be willing to pay a couple more dollars for the app for this option.

Good app. Hello! I love this app. Before it I would always play on the mobile website. The only reason this is 4 stars is because when I play Checkout Cookie in the site, it's normal. But, if I play Checkout Cookie in the app, it's muted. I would really like an update to this app to fix this bug. Anyways, thank you!

Love the app but it’s not working. Started yesterday when my niece was mid way decorating cookies with Cookie Monster and it suddenly crashed. We keep checking but haven’t seen it update. Please help we resorted to making actual cookies and the kitchen is a nightmare! Lol Appreciate the help.

BEST APP GET IT!!. My baby sister loves this game. You don’t have to purchase ANYTHING! Only things that’s bad is... your sis will like it sooooo much, it gets kinda annoying.. but I DEFINITELY RECOMEND if you have a daughter are sister!

Great app, no audio on games. My daughter loves this app. Especially anything with Abby in it. But multiple games have no audio. My daughter is 2 so she can’t read. At least with some audio she can still play. She’s not enjoying most games because she doesn’t understand what to do. Fix this bug and I’ll re-rate accordingly..

Loads of Fun, but . . .. Our toddler loves the app and remains a definite go to but, the sound is not available all of the time. Requires the child to have to close out the windows when the sound isn’t working and open a new window. It is discouraging and encourages a constant opening and closing behavior. We love the content and believe that the app could be so much better with this bug fix.

My toddler’s favorite!. My toddler loves this app! She can start videos and games and navigate around. And she loves to dance along to all the songs. My only complaint, and the reason for one less star for a beloved app, is the need to be online. When we travel in the car on a long trip she desperately wants to play this but you have to have internet for it to run videos. There should really be a way to download content to use offline.

Good games and videos- games are cut off on older devices. Great collection of Sesame Street clips and games with zero commercials. My son is really happy they fixed the audio on all of the games. Unfortunately now the edges of most of the games are cut off on our iPhone 6S and 9.7 inch IPad. Please fix the games so they render on older screen sizes.

Disappointed. Downloaded this app and it won't even open. Just crashes. Well that was a waste of time

Chromecast won’t work. Every time I try to cast to my TV it causes my chromecast to reset. No other apps are causing this problem. Really need to get this fixed.

Great job,just one thing…. I’ve been watching Sesame Street ever since i was a baby. Now,i got an app and i can watch all the videos or play games. I know,I’m 9 now,it might seem weird that I’m watching a toddlers show,but somehow i love it. I hope this is around for my future kids so they can learn important values. Just i play on a mute computer so can you support by adding words? Then i will give 5 stars!

Old games. I miss the classic games like example sink or float with Cookie Monster and Emma and family food with baby bear and his family etc etc etc so please bring them back I will really love it. Great content, buggy app. This app used to work flawlessly but the most recent update made the UI less usable by changing the size and color of some buttons and you can’t play a video without it stopping on its own at least once. Tried deleting it and reinstalling but that didn’t fix anything

Games and videos are great, but kills battery life. We never used to have this issue with the app, but lately I’ve noticed if the Sesame Street app is open or being actively used, the battery on both the iPhone or iPad drains dramatically faster than normal. Phone battery usually lasts most of the day, but after an hour with the app it’s at like 13%. It’s a shame because the app content itself is absolutely fantastic, but I had to uninstall because of this.

Fix the sound!. I came back to see if there were any reviews about the sound and now I can see I’m not the only one having the issue! Please update it, it was totally fine and then just randomly stopped working, hopefully an update comes soon because my son absolutely loves the games!

App used to be great. In the past few month the app is suddenly stuck in offline mode despite being connected to Wifi. Have tried reinstalling several times and it isn’t fixing the problem. Please fix this error!

Awesome. One of the best apps for my preschooler- he loves it. Lots of content, no ads and annoying pop ups, keeps him self sufficient and happy while learning with his favourite monsters.

Please fix. App crashes all the time, please fix and add more content. Would rather pay than have the app crash all the time. This is the 5th review I had to write since after I'm done it tells me the user name is taken and closes the comment box I just wrote.

Bugs. Please update your app. My son loves this app but it's very buggy. He can hardly make it through a game without it freezing or it just failing to keep up. It's very frustrating. I see there hasnt been an update in like 7 months. You should update it more frequently than that!

Sesame Street app. This app used to be excellent. They offered all our favourite episodes and songs from the past and present. Unfortunately they recently updated the app and removed 80 percent of the items we used to enjoy. Absolutely not worth purchasing and extremely disappointed.

Why do people keep saying this?. I played my first two games the audio was perfectly fine, i dont get why people keep saying problems with the sound.

Fix the glitch. When my kid launches the pinball counting game all you see is a “this game works best in portrait mode” screen. You can’t x it out. Fix please. It’s making us crazy.

Sound issues. This is a great app but has recently started having many games where the sound does not work. It hasn’t been updated in a year so that could be why.... please update the app! My daughter is sad about the games with no sound.

Please remove screen touch pause function. This app is great as there are many videos to choose from, in a variety of learning areas (math, science, social development, etc). Creating an account is a must if your child has favourite videos, as the videos change locations and are more difficult to locate if they haven’t been added to your favourites list. CON -HATE the new update that pauses videos by touching the screen. My so gets so frustrated and upset because he accidentally touches the screen & pauses the videos he watches. We will have to stop using the app unless this option is removed, as he cries and throws the tablet/phone out of frustration.

It used to work...?. My toddler loves this app however it has recently just stopped working. None of the videos load or the games. It’s really disappointing since this is her “treat” for the potty.

Good idea but still need to improve. My younger son love Elmo, it's a good deal to let him watch and play with Elmo anytime he want, but there r lot of problem, such as free trial said it free for 48hrs but we only had 1 day only, and we gonna to purchase but it's just keep loading...we keep waiting with a disappointed little guy!:(

Sound cuts off way too often. This app is awesome but also super frustrating because it freezes and loses sound too frequently.

Offline mode. Past week says off line mode only even when we are connected to wifi. Have tried to delete app several time and on multiple devices, still not resolved. Please fix.

Annoyed. I can no longer do anything on this app. None of the games or videos work anymore, it’s just a white screen, nothing happens

Sound is often not working, but when it is the app is great. My daughter loves the app and I love the quality of the content, but there are so many games where the sound just doesn’t work no matter what we try. Within those games, the actual games are unplayable either because sound is missing, or because it’s frozen. Not sure what is up there, but it can be pretty frustrating for a 3-year old.

Put it back to the old design.. My toddler loves this app. Since the update 1 week ago it’s super glitchy and will freeze constantly. You can’t navigate easily anymore either. Please go back to the previous layout, it was easy for littles to use.

Random pausing of video since last update. Good app in general but since last update videos will now randomly pause using IPhone 7 Max. OS 14.71

Very good app!. I love this Sesame Street game for kids! it is very addictive and find free your little ones who love Sesame Street! It has many games and many fun things for your kid and you to do together as a family. But I do want you to update it with only a few things. In the game I would like to have an achievement section so that you can track your Sesame Street goals along the way. I also want a Sesame Street shop so you can shop for fine Sesame Street toys or snacks. And I would like for you to make fun stickers for iMessage from this app. These are the only things that I want you to update it with but otherwise it is a very very VERY fun game I absolutely love it it is a musket so you and your child can build healthy habits for a lifetime! they are so many fun games and videos to watch and to play. You can play with your favorite Sesame Street characters like Elmo and Abby. since this is on PBS kids I want you to add the games from PBS Kids onto the Sesame Street app so if you don’t have PBS Kids you can still play on the Sesame Street app. very fun for the whole family and your kids will love that amazing app! I think that you need more educational videos and more music videos from Sesame Street and I want you to update it with more Sesame Street videos so you can watch Sesame Street directly from the app. Still it’s a very fun and addictive game I would recommend getting this app for your iPhone iPad. The game is most likely perfect for toddlers who are expecting a little brother or sister in mom’s huge pregnant belly because they can teach them healthy habits. I also think it’s pretty good because I do not think that you need Wi-Fi to play the games and it works from anywhere. When I was expecting a baby girl I wanted her to become smart so I got her a tablet with the Sesame Street app on it and waited 4 months for her. And she loves the app! Must get!

Volume never works on games. I have tried everything and used this app on different devices. There is never sounds on the games. Ridiculous. It’s so frustrating for my daughter.

Suddenly stopped working. My toddler loves this app but it suddenly stopped working as other reviews have noted. Looks like it happened around the time you did the Halloween home page it just crashed.

Sound issues. Certain games won’t play sounds no matter how many times I restart the app or my iPad. Namely: Elmo’s super jump and cooking with cookie.

Crashes. I think this could be a really good app.. However, it crashes. We just tried playing 2 different games; both of them suddenly crashed.

3 year old loves it.. but. It seems like over half the games have no sound when their mouth is moving. It also seems like some games have rotating goals and you’re supposed to be told if you’re to group adults animals together or by colors. However, the game doesn’t make a peep. Please fix this.

Does not work on secure networks. My son loves this app, but it does not work in secure networks. The logic to setup hard-coded connections to 3rd party DNS providers is bogus and no other application is doing this. Please just use my network-configured DNS server. Why is a children’s application is trying to bypass a network’s parental internet filters?

Broken. Many of the games are broken :( It’s clear this game wasn’t written for iPad because the touch controls pull the whole screen down instead of moving the game pieces around. Really sad.

Games are not running well!. I don’t come to post reviews at all so for me to be here means that I’m flustered watching my child try to play a game that is unresponsive mid way through.

Just Okay.... My daughter loves this app, but games sometimes don’t have sound, freeze at certain points, or just crashes altogether on the iPad.

No sound on games. All videos work with sound- lately no games on the app have sound. And i had emailed support, they were no help. This is a great app and now my child is interested in the games. Please fix ASAP and i will re download this

Please leave me alone.. I deleted this app months ago and it won't leave my iPod. I'm constantly seeing it every time I restart or go to update apps. Does anyone know how to fix this? I keep deleting it but it comes back when I restart.

No sound in games. I've signed up, updated software, updated the app, restarted the iPad and the sound on the games still won't work. It says iOS 9 or higher and we have 10. I see complaints about this as far back as one year. I've emailed, but haven't received a solution. Help! !

Update. This app has not been updated in a long time. My boys Love this App. Please fix it

It WAS great BUT….. We loved this app, had it for years but the other day I noticed a new song my 4-year-old was watching…it was a grown man in a tuxedo dress. I wish there was a way to block this video. I am not ok with this. It is MY job to teach and protect MY children. Goodbye Sesame Street!

Please fix!. App won't load and when it does it crashes during a video. This is my daughters favorite app and she is frustrated when it lags to load

Crashes. App continuously crashes.. the games don’t respond and the videos hardly ever load. It’s a shame because my two year old constantly wants to play on this app

Games not working. My grandson loves this app. However, it needs to be fixed. Multiple Same’s don’t work and there is no sound. Please fix!

Please update your video playback again. This is a great app. My daughter loves it… but videos don’t play anymore and that’s all she wants to do on it right now. Once this app updates I know my rating will change from a 1 to a 5

Not programmed properly. This app would be awesome if all the games worked on my phone. Several of them do not fit my small screen in the SE. It may be diff on other devices, but for us it’s frustrating when we can’t access many of the features that my son loves playing on the laptop.

No sound??. My 4 year old loves this app but often there is no sound on some of the games.

Great but no volume. When I first downloaded the app it was fine. Now, the volume works when it wants to and its very frustrating. Please fix the volume problem ASAP!!!

Love.. My son (2 year old) absolutely loves this apt. He loves all the songs. I love that it’s educational.

More frustrating then not. I really would like to love your app more but more often then not the sound doesn’t work, it crashes or it just doesn’t work right. My kids usually get frustrated and give up. To bad because We love Sesame Street

Won,t start. There is a issue with the app It won’t start It freezes on the menu The videos won’t play

Can’t hear sound on games, videos great. Just got app, tried it out and it definitely doesn’t play games. I made sure sound was turned off as directed but it only played on videos

Can’t open videos and games. Sound all of a sudden stopped working on one of the games. I restarted the iPad and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now none of the videos or games will open. It doesn’t work on my iPhone either.

Wifi. Needs to be available offline

No sound for games. Only videos provide sound. No settings seem to work to fix. Have deleted and reloaded and still issue persists. Used to love this but now it’s a hassle and creates a meltdown with my kid anytime she tries to use it.
