High Paywall / Too much Ads. I bought the “No ads” and nothing happened. I still get tons of ads between games, those VERY LONG ads….with lots of “x” buttons that are extremely difficult to click therefore leading you to a new app or something alike.

Don’t waste your time, Guys. This app had no easily accessible instructions, therefore it made no sense to play.

So FUN!!!!. This. game. Is. Great. And when it freezes when you die, it makes great wallpaper.

Please Leave American Politics Out of Your Games!!. I enjoy this game. I bought the Gold Edition years ago, but it has not been updated in 4+ years so I downloaded this version since it gets updated regularly. Anyway, the Gold Edition had an Obama character called “Mr. President” who WAS the President 4 YEARS AGO. In 2016, Donald Trump was duly elected President of the United States. Like him or not, he IS OUR current President. This game was last updated 6 months ago, so to still have Obama as the “Mr. President” character and also have a disrespectful caricature of Donald Trump called “Trout” holding a “NO!” sign is, first of all inaccurate, and also pretty childish to say the least. Whether you like him or not, he was elected and likely will be re-elected so everyone should grow up and keep off the band wagon especially if you are a developer from Poland and NOT America. Thanks.

To challenging. The ads are not to bad, the gameplay… well I can’t review any gameplay at all because I only lasted a few minutes of this game. Now let me explain why I only lasted a few minutes… the game is literally Elden Ring… it’s so hard. This game requires lots of skill upon tapping quickly and being able to search quickly. My point is that you have to search for any branches or whatever you wanna call them (there’s different branch’s throughout the levels) and if you run into those branch’s on accident than you die… I died about 10 if not more times just from playing for about a minute. It’s just to hard. That’s why I only lasted playing a few minutes. I can only imagine if you played this game on pc… it’d be a nightmare. I do not recommend this to people that will die just a few times and hate the game, I would recommend it to people that can lose 80 times and still be enjoying the game. I’m surprised that the game is rated 4+. I can’t imagine a 4 year old raging trying to complete just 1 level. Overall the difficulty is just set to a far to high point. To hard for me, maybe it’s just me, but the difficulty is to high.

Simple, challenging, entertaining. A very simple but brilliant effort. I’ve been playing it for years. It’s even more popular now with a Nintendo Switch version. I wish the developers gave us a few more updates

So addicting... BUT!!!. This game is so addicting and so much fun. It helps pass time and rid your day of boredom. This game makes my day a little more fun. BUT! The one thing I don’t understand about the game is why Indiana Jones character has an axe. Why wouldn’t they have him use the whip? I think it would be way more awesome if Indie used his whip instead of an axe.

Kind of weird and challenging! :). The reason why I gave this game a 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of this one glitch, so I was playing this game and it was challenging but back to the point when I watch the ads when the ads finished it logged me out of the game. Please fix this because I’m kinda getting annoyed of this and but hey not much ads overall...

Great game, remove politics. A challenging offline game with minimal ads and an outstanding game idea. The wood chopping game has got me blown away. It has a 50/50 aspect of challenge and fun. The game always has you working, chipping away at your high score every time. And not only is it fun, it actually serves a purpose in many sports. If you ever want to play a sport, (or already play a sport) nearly every one of them requires you to have good reflexes. This game helps you practice that. Aside from that, there are skins and maps, which add a little bit of taste to the game. Want to be Venom on a tiki island? You’ve got it! For someone with extremely good reflexes, this game always challenges me. I have a high score of 674 and every day I can make that digit go up by a few. But, there isn’t only good things to say about the game. In recent updates, Digital Melody decided to add some controversial American politics into the game. Now, who thought that was a good idea? A character of Donald Trump holding up a sign saying “No” is extremely inaccurate and childish of the developers to put in a kid’s game. It would be one thing if this game was for 16+ and games like this weren’t persuading young kids into having their own political opinions. Especially if you’re a developer from Poland who knows nothing about America. Whether you want Trump to be the president or not, he is, and you don’t revolve around everything to make your children’s game political. Further on that, there is more political stuff about Obama in the updates that I won’t go further into. Please, leave your false information out of the game. Also, they made it so when you unlock the Native American character, there is a totem pole to chop and a forest fire in the background. Ending on a good note, here are some suggestions to make the game better; 1. Effects and better graphics. Make it so that when the wood is chopped, it actually looks like it was chopped and not sliced by a machine. For effects, there could be wood particles that come off of the wood when chopped. 2. As already explained, remove politics. 3. A free play mode where when you lose, it automatically puts you into another round/game/match (whatever you call it) and adds the deserved rewards once you turn free play off. Overall, a great game, needs some more features, and also needs some features removed.

Bought No Ads and Still Have Ads. I bought no ads and I still have ads days later and I have tried restoring purchases and I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app (lost all my progress) and I still have ads. DONT GET THIS GAME THE COMPANY IS SCAMMING PEOPLE!

How just how. When I tried the game I was just expecting a quick tapping game BUT then I realized how HARD

Fun but broken. The game is fun, and there are a ton of characters to unlock, but for me every third or fourth round I start the app crashes or freezes. I’m on an iPhone 8 standard.

W collab. Case Oh in game, W. At first I thought he was the tree since it was so big, but then realized that it was all those big characters. Unfortunately they had to scale him down so he could fit on screen. Still W

A little bug. The game is very good game but it could stop for a tiny second and you can die

Decent gameplay, racist character choices.. Gameplay is extremely hard, props on that, but as soon as I unlocked the Native American character and had my tree changed to a totem pole and a forest fire I uninstalled lol…

Ridiculous Ad Frequency. The ads are unbearable. You play the game for 5 seconds, get a 30 second ad, then repeat. Deleted immediately after downloading.

Broken. Twice now I've met the criteria for achievements and nothing happens. I needed to score a certain number 3 times and I did it 4 times, which it showed, but I didn't get credit for it

Good game. This game is super fun and the characters are even funnier this game is very enjoyable and a fun it’s not to hard but not to easy. I saw many comments saying it’s to hard I can agree a 4 year old would struggle playing this game but the game is not to hard very fun.

Quick, fun, challenging. I’m terrible at these types of games but this one hooked me in. With a variety of characters to earn, it’s been fun to build up my skill and see how far I can go. I am surprised I made it to 764!!! One note to the developers. It does not seem to accurate track how long I’ve been playing the game and I’m not sure if I will ever be able to achieve the “play 1 hour” (let alone 2 or 3 hours) achievement because it just doesn’t track it correctly. I know I’ve sat in a single session and played for 25 minutes but it doesn’t save the score. In addition, Game Center achievements aren’t accurate either, which bums me out. I’ve earned most of the characters but Game Center achievements does not reflect that. Good game. Fun. And I spend a couple of minutes each day playing it cause it’s so wonderfully causal!

This game steals your money. I downloaded this game, before I even got to play it it stared popping up the pay to get ad free version constantly. Every 10 seconds it popped up, I hit the home button to try and close out but apparently it was perfectly timed to purchase using thumbprint. I’m disappointed that Apple would allow these sorts of predatory practices.

Good idea, bad execution. The game is a good time-waster but nothing more. By good time-waster, I mean you spend 2/3 of your time watching ads. Rather sad that the developers are only after the money from ad revenue, rather than providing a quality game experience.

Rewarded every time u get a good score with an AD 😃👍. This game has wayyyyy too many ads especially if ur any good at the game cause every time I get over 200 I get an ad which is basically every time I play. They know u want the score u got added to ur currency so they always put an ad after a good run. If u don’t have bad reaction time good luck cause ur about to be bombarded with ads. (UPDATE: now deleted the game due to the same reason as stated above)

How to GET RID of ADS!🔥😎😉. Just turn ur WiFi off when ur playing this game and walla, NO ADS!!! This game helps pass time when ur on the road or jus bored at home. The sounds are very faint so u can listen to music while playing! It is very simple, addicting, and fun. This game made a 2 hour drive to a track meet feel like 15 minutes of fun packed gaming!!! I would highly recommend this game to anyone and everyone!🔥🔥😂😁👌😉👍

I hate the ads... but good game!. I hate the fact that if you want to get revived you’ll have to watch a ad to be revived but then a second ad would pop up and make you watch the whole ad (because there is no X button to get out of the ad) and then most of the time I don’t even get revived but good game overall.

Great until they added the ads. I love this game but now I don’t play it anymore because you’re made to watch an ad before every single replay attempt. I spend more time watching ads than playing the game and it’s just not even worth it anymore. Maybe if they did an ad every 5 games or so it wouldn’t be so obnoxious?

Great game, but could be better. I love this game, spend five bucks to get the console version (Timberman Vs.), but there needs to be more characters. I have almost all of the characters in the game, I’m still logging in daily to get about four of them. But there also needs to be more capitalization in the game, like why you don’t sell exclusive characters and premium currency that can’t be earned is beyond me. This game could make way more money than just ad revenue. And please add more land to purchase it’s so unfair not being able to do all my challenges just because I have every plot and every zone. Other than that this game is great and addicting and I will now go back and play it once this sends!

I know it's free but.... We all know that people want to make money on the app store and I get that, but when a demo ad starts to load right as I start a new roind, thats annoying. Great simple game otherwise.

Almost Perfect. The game is pretty good overall but it has a noticeable input lag when you switch sides. This is a nonexistent problem in the Steam version of this game, so it is probably a compatibility problem with iOS. Edit: I just noticed it is not an input lag issue, an incompatibility with multitouch is what causes the problem. Still leaving 4 stars until multitouch is added to this game.

Too much ads. After every 2 times you die, they pop up an ad and you are not able to skip them. Watch 30 second ad after 2 times die? When you play a game in about 10 seconds, that means the ad time is 1/3 time longer than your toal amount playing time

Do not play if you like getting high scores.. It’s a fun game but once you start tapping fast enough sometimes the taps won’t register and will almost always result in a game over. At 700+ you really need to go fast to beat the timer and this is when it starts becoming a big issue. I can’t get past 800 points because of this issue.

Definitely one of the best apps I’ve had!!. I’m a sucker for simple games that go fast. I have ADHD so something like this is perfect for me! It has so many characters. You just had to ruin another good game. Ads are one thing, but holy hell. That retry timer is worse than ads I mean I'd rather have ads at the top then wait to play. It's so frustrating. It's like you're trying to earn yourself a ticket to hell. Why would you do this? Have you not tried it yourself, what could have been potentially one of the best casual games as you say? SUCH A SHAME. Timberman had great potential to become a great arcade game, yet so many advertisements every 5 minutes I'm on a site I don't to be on. The game it self is a good concept, but the game isn't addictive enough to pay to remove the ads. When I see you must to remove ads I straight away stop playing. And I'm not the only one, I hope you can do better in your next game. Yet the arcade style is well done, and the speed of the players improvement does make you wanna play a whole lot more. Unlocking those characters feels fulfilling and as if your hard work is done after you get one, then you aim for the next character. Arcade apps are easier than 3-D and some ways even more enjoyable. Please add skip "retry" button. This is my favourite fast-paced basic game ever, but it's really annoying to have to wait for the retry bar to end before playing again every single time you lose.

It would be a great game... It would be a great game if there were less ads. I don't like having an ad after each single loss. And these ads are 30 seconds long and you can't skip them. Also, the game crashes on opening with the new update.

Advertisement issues. Fun little time waster, but the retry option really mucks up the game. Every time you die there is a roughly 5 second timer that counts down a loud annoying beeping sound, that allows you to play a 15 second ad to revive that life, which by the end of the 20 or so seconds you waited will throw you off anyway, only increasing your score by 2 or 3 points. And it does it every time you die, even if you only chopped 3 segments. Removing ads does not remove this feature, you still have to wait 5 or so seconds between each try, completely breaking game flow, if you want to play this game, i suggest buying the steam version instead.

Simple but fun. Reminds me old other simple yet frustrating and fun games like Flappy Bird and the Impossible Game. The ads can be quite annoying though.

Performance improvement indeed. (Sorry for my english) This new version runs so well its unbelievable. About the bans of many people in the highscores, I think assuming that people above a certain threshold are hackers (for example above 1 million in total score) is not a good way of dealing with hacking unless its 100% clear that nobody could reach such a score (for instance I have a total highscore of 556k and could very well imagine having played more and possessing a 1 million + total score.) If you can assure that nobody will be able to hack in the future, then why not reset highscores and in this way make sure that all scores all legit (the few people that still play this game wouldn't mind I think, personally I would like to compete for ranks if highscores aren't messed up.)

Too mamy ads. Game ruined It is cute, silly game like I live them but there is only so many ads I can take. There is an animated banner at the top that never goes away. Everytime you die you wait 5 seconds while they suggest a video to see and the are popups ads on the main menu too.

Almost perfect. This is a simple but fun game. The only thing that it needs is an option to skip the revive, as waiting for the bar to deplete is painful if you are wanting to start over. Other that that it's a great game

Fun and addicting. Fun to play. Challenging. But I keep dying randomly. No I don't touch the branches, just randomly my lumberman just up and croaks. I did notice couple times he should of died by touching the branch, but the tree still chopped but then the game catches up and he just died randomly later on. But the other times, I play it safe then boom! He just gives up

Balance, and lagg. When you get a high score up in the 450+ area the red bar starts dropping extremely fast, and it's hard to keep up... I'm a person with fast reflex. It's agitating, balance that out a little more. Also when you open the ap, it loads up all the achievements you've gained over again in the Game Center which causes it to lag/freeze, killing you. This is a really addicting fun game, and I think just these minor updates would make it even better.

Better than Flappy Bird!. Timberman is the best game I've experienced since the Flappy Bird saga. This game is truly better than Flappy Bird, to be honest, which is why Flappy Bird players will love it. The colorful graphics, all the great characters (could use some power ups), and the original gameplay make it so unique and very addicting. I must give a hand to the developer(s). This game is the new Flappy Bird. Move aside, Flappy Bird, because... It's going down, I'm yelling timber-man!

Way better than Flappy Bird. This game is more addicting and more fun to play than flappy bird. This game doesn't make you make you mad when you lose. It makes you want to play even more ! Keep it up and also I hope you guys make the time a little longer in the red bar because after level 10 it drops so fast that you can barely react! Good game overall. 5/5

Love it !!. This game is great but it wouldn't be bad to add buff to characters or a different game mode because other than making you look cool the characters make no difference so you might as well make them have different powers and in order to make characters less overpowered make a game mode where their powers have no effect. Also plz add a bear it would be great. In the other hand this is a great game, keep up the good work.

SUPERHOT. SUPERHOT.. Timberman is the most innovative retrogame I've played in years!

Ads....really..... This used to be my favorite app. I got 377 high score and 41k total chunks. I didn't mind the ads at the end of the game and the app used to run fine. Then came that horrible update. The game became laggy and there are ads at the top of the game when I play which also lags me. The ads are distracting and annoying and makes me want to not play the game anymore. Go back to were the adds were at the end of the game. That's enough advertising. In all, the new update ruined the game because of apps and I no longer have interest in playing. I might delete it unless something changes. 2 stars for now.

(⌒▽⌒). Great game! There is one problem though. When I had this game on my iPad a while ago, it never had that retry button. So I'm guessing that it updated over the months. But the retry button is very irritating. I'm used to playing, dying, then automatically getting to retry. But with the new retry bar, you have to wait about 10 seconds to play again. If you want a tip for better reviews, I say you either get rid of the new retry bar or at least ad a skip button so we do not have to wait the 10 seconds to play again. It's like waiting for an ad! Overall, it still is a pretty good, addicting, fun game!

Amazing but adds. This game is so fun kind of like flappy bird but yea it brings the worst out of some of us and guess what... Everytime you mess up there is some add. But if you want no adds you have to pay a dollar which isn't bad but i think they should just take that out like i know they want to make a profit but cant you make it some other way which is good for you and good for the customer not something to take away that annoys everyone else! But overall this game is very fun and you should get it!

Fun, but ADs.. This game racks out expertly in perfectly placing itself in the line of addicting, rewarding, and entertaining. With tons of skins to choose from and fast gameplay, this game is a great time killer. The only problem, is the ads. There are ads left and right, popping out when you least expect them, etc. etc. I understand why they are there, but I would much prefer the app to cost $2 in the first place, and have it so you can watch an ad to unlock some things. Just my two cents, but it is a very fun game and I will and do recommend this to friends!

It's flappy bird all over again. I love this game so much but I hate it! It's so addictive! But sometimes when I get into the hundreds, I try to go faster but the game doesn't register my taps and then I die. So please fix that if you can. Oh and when i get farther into the game the bar goes really fast so when I go into highspeed it's still not fast enough. Please fix the speed it's around 300 or 400+

Bad game. This game is honestly terrible. Why would anyone play this game. Even my friends that liked flappy bird wouldnt play this game. Why you may ask. Because they have brains. Every one addicted to games listen to this really quick. That bright thing outside of your glass square (that normal people call windows) yes the bright white ball. That is called a sun. And also, that green stuff thats grass. Those brown split things that have green ovals on them, those are trees. Do you know what all of that is called? No. That is called the outdoors and it is wonderful. All you have to do is go outside and enjoy it with some nice iced tea or lemonade, and some family and friends youre welcome no-lives

Best App I've Ever Played. It really is a great app. The simplicity reminds me of flappy bird, though it's not nearly as difficult. It's really what you make of it, since you only really need to go fast past 300. Whenever I get stressed out or mad I just pick this up and play, it helps me a lot. I can also play it virtually anywhere, whereas most other apps that sell themselves as "a challenge" you can only concentrate at home in a quiet environment. My parents even play it, it's so simple. My only complaint is that it needs one more mechanic to give it that attention increaser without it becoming over-saturated.

#Timbeerrr. This is really a dope game!! Styled like flappy bird but unique in its own way! I really wish there could be more of a reason with these characters rather than they look cool ha. 1 idea i had is if you keep the bar full for say 10 seconds you go rage mode and it cuts down the wood for say 20? Just a thought not fully thought out but could be cool. Give people more of a reason to keep the bar up ! Other than small ideas this is a solid game!

AMAZING!!. I always go on the App Store when I'm bored to look up new games. I came across this game but didn't actually play it until a few days after downloading it. BIG MISTAKE! This game is the best! I didn't know my fingers could go so fast! But with a great game comes some bad things as well. The only complaints I have, as probably the same for others, is that the timer goes way too fats after 600. Also lower the standards a little for unlocking characters such as Mr. President. I love a good challenge buts that ludicrous! Anyways overall one of the best games I have downloaded. :)

AWESOME but can use a few things. I literally got this less than a hour ago and I am addicted. Me and my cousins are fighting for te high score title 😂 this is an awesome game. But can use a pause button, less ads maybe they always are in the way, and that the new charecters have special abilities so that it's not just for their look. It would make it even more awesome. Keep it up! This can really be like the next flappy bird. 👌❤️

Great update. I was wondering about the two new character unlocks I'm not very good at the game I usually average less then 100 chops per game. Is there a certain number of chops someone has to get in order for the game to consider that play a "run" for some reason my "runs" don't count down very often am I the only one with this problem. Please make any number of chops be considered a "run" for the bad players like me

Sound and bar is annoying, and game isn't all that entertaining. The game is fun for maybe about five minutes, then your high score is over 100 in 10 minutes. The game gets old and will just annoy you. After you die in the game, there's this little bar that makes you wait about four seconds, or you can watch a thirty second video. It's really annoying because you want to continue trying but it just gets in the way. About 90% of my free time is listening to music, so it's just a huge inconvenience trying to listen to my favorite artists with the god awful music and annoying chopping. And you can't turn it off soooo. It looks cool though so that's that. lol uninstalling...

Very addicting. 2.6 Update: Wish I could turn off the replay option to avoid having to wait for a timer to expire in between plays. Fun to play and addicting. The game can be challenging, but not absurdly so. Everything feels fair. Yes, there are banner ads during gameplay and fullscreen ads when you die. Paying $0.99 removes all ads. The game is worth the money. The developer has to make money. If you enjoy the game, show some love and pay $0.99. It's less than the price of a 20 oz soft drink.

Very Fun. This game is strangely addicting and sometimes i cant get off of it. I've recently heard a lot of complaints about ads and what not but so far i haven't encountered that Many ads in the way while playing this. If i do in the future than i still know that the game developer surely has a reason on why he would allow it or maybe he has no control over it i really dont know. Anyway this game is very addicting i i would in courage any one pondering on the idea of installing this app to do so.

This May be the Next Flappy Bird. Great game and extremely addictive, reminds me a lot of flappy bird, but it's an overall better game. However, I have a couple complaints that are holding the game back. My highscore is 460, and by that point, the little red bar drops faster than you can possibly tap, making it impossible to go much higher, and I have very fast fingers. This essentially blocks off unlocking characters such as Mr. President, so in the next update, make that speed drop a bit more balanced. Another complaint, if you are going very fast and switch sides quickly, occasionally the game will not register your taps, therefore killing you. These can easily be fixed in an update. I have a suggestion for the game as well, and that is that each character would have their own ability (slower time, more health, something like that). This would make the game more interesting and would keep players playing longer now that they have reasons to unlock characters. I have seen many other reviewers mention that same idea, so please take that into consideration. Other than that, this game is awesome, extremely addictive and fun. I have no doubt this could blow up like flappy bird did sometime very soon.

Great Update. I love the new update. The new characters look pretty cool (not as fast as bulk haha) if anybody is wondering how to get a run just start game double tap home button exit game and start it and repeat until characters are unlocked. It's pretty addicting but it's so hard to beat your high score mine is like 455 and it takes me so long to get up there to beat it. Keep adding characters but make them be unlocked at like 120,000 and keep moving each character up I don't really like the run idea with the two new characters

Immediate Complaint. Frankly, the wait times between dying and restarting are way too long. This is a game that's meant to be played quickly. Therefore, the respawn time should be quicker, too. At least provide a function to cancel the current wait time if you don't want to watch an ad to continue. That's a basic feature I see on practically every other game. Compared to the quick, fast-paced play sessions, the wait time in between deaths feels so long and drawn out. This is definitely something I'd like to see fixed to make the game more enjoyable.

Great game. For me, this game is extremely simple, yet rewarding and addictive. This game is not like others where I've played for a few days then deleted. This app keeps me engaged and hungry for a new high score. There are very few bugs overall in the game. However, there is one major bug that others have mention that is very frustrating and that is when you are tapping very quickly, the game fails to register some of your taps causing you to die. This makes it impossible to unlock characters where you have to score a certain amount of chunks 3 times in a row. I also feel that some of the characters are a little to difficult to unlock. However I still give the game 5 stars because these problems are easy to fix.

Great game!. Timberman is a simple game where you tap on either the left or right side of the screen to get wood, and you dodge branches. Every time you tap, you get a point, but you need to be quick and race against the clock. Getting points gives you new characters like a hazmat suit or a new shirt. Instead of getting a HUGE amount of points over a while to get these characters, you get to do a score per game to get a character, as in getting 300 points in a game, or 5000 lifetime points for a Russian stereotype character, but the timber woman which was 1 unlock behind, is 4000 lifetime points, so characters are easy to get. All in all, timberman deserves a perfect score 5 logs out of 5.

New update issues. I used to love this app, and play it every day, but now, it's been ruined. I absolutely hate the new in app purchases. The characters, are not hard to get so I found the fact that they added a file characters option was lazy and cheap. Also why I ask, why would you add banner ads? They are awful! It makes the gameplay so much harder, because you can't see anything! Why? Also, I noticed they changed the lazy birds design, which was my favorite character. It looks stupid. Nothing like the actual flappy Bird. It just looks like a cheap and dumb version of it. I'm quite close to deleting the app. Unless you can change these fixes this app will remain a good app gone bad.

Very fun and addicting! 0_–. I only ever write amazing reviews like this for my favorite/most addicting apps and Timberman easily makes the cut! It is so addicting that I can't go on the app and immediately get off the app it's literally impossible for me. My friends call me the app inspector because I get so many apps just to try them out and write a review about them. However there is one problem that can get a little annoying and that is that if you are looking at the people to unlock you can't go back without selecting a character. Other than that small problem, this app is very fun! In fact, it is just one update away from being the best addicting game I have ever played!

Great Game. I love it. It's a great way to waste you time. The soundtrack is awesome and also has a creepy heart pounding feel to it. The only problem I have with it is that the characters you unlock are just that they don't do anything special except make you look cool. It would be nice if the characters came with buffs like extra hit or extended time. Unless this is implemented I don't see my self getting mr president anytime soon. Overall great game definitely would recommend this game to my friends and co-workers.

ONE OF THE BEST APPS OF ALL TIME. Flappy bird was an app that impacted an app gamers life. The challenge, the simple ness... So if you thought flappy bird was good then you don't know Timberman! Wow, a colleague.... A COLLEAGUE recommended this game to me. Timberman is awesome. It should be one of those apps that are already set with the iPhone, iPod, or iPad once you get it. To me, Timberman impacted an app gamers life way more and was a great life saver for boredom. Download this game it is exceptional and beyond! Better than flappy bird! Great if you keep trying. This game is fantastic. It has a real learning curve! (Like flappy bird!!!) when you start it seems hard, only getting 10 or less, but as you keep trying you get better! I was working to get one character which involved getting to 300 score 3 times in a row, but instead i actually unlocked 2 other characters by getting a high-score of 578. Again this game is amazing! Get it!

MUST READ Great idea. Personally i love the character but wouldn't it be fun if u can make u own character. You can charge people 2$ or 1$ how many you want not over 5$ to much but u can make a character so if u want to get creative someone buy a make it your self kit and they can use pixels to make a character and u can have a tournament for the best design and make it a real character and the maker can make up the challenge its just a idea and i will love to make character from my favorite TV play in this game i can pixelate wolverine and pixelate a pokemon or anything the possibility are endless and thank you for reading

Much better after 2.8 update!. Update: As of v.2.8 it seems the issues below have been addressed and Timberman has been restored to its previous glory. Thanks Digital Melody Games! This was one of my favorite games before the 2.6 update and I had even paid for the no ads version. However, after September 18 in an attempt to further monetize the game from players who have already paid for the premium version, the developers killed the instant-replayability that make these fast twitch games fun and addictive. Now you are forced to watch an ad in between plays or else wait for a timer to expire. Boooo! Additionally, previously earned high scores are now devalued because if you opt to watch the ad after your first death, you can resume play that point. Boooo! RIP Timberman.

Fun and Addicting. This game is really fun and so addicting. The charaters are somewhat difficult to unlock, but not to bad. It's also really rewarding when you finally do unlock a new character though. A perfect, fun, time-waster. But I do have to say, the waiting 5 seconds after dying if you dont want to watch an ad is terrible. Please add a button at the bottom for those who want to restart and play again, without watching an ad. The cooldown makes the game unenjoyable, and really slows the flow of the quick paced style. Other than that, overall great game.

Ehh... This is a really good game. believe me I love this game but it is very annoying when this bug happens. And the one little bug I think is annoying is when your tapping the screen and it won't recognize so you'll tap the other side and it still won't work and you just sit there as your red bar just goes down to zero. And it was truly annoying because I went up to 250 and the bug triggered..

Ehh its ok. I think it is a really fun game but the person is going so fast that you can't even see what is happening so i think they should definitely fix that. That is a huge glitch for me. This game is fun and i will continue to play it while i wait for more lives on foodie yama which is a game just like this but better graphics and better control and you are able to see where you are going. I would play alot more if this glitch were fixed. Thank you!😊👌

Great game. I live a normal teenage life. I've had a wonderful summer so far. I've been going to the pool, hanging out with friends, working, and doing a little bit of turning up. I'm coming up on my senior year and I'm trying to make the most of my summer. The weather has been crappy lately and a lot of my friends are out of town. With the boredom sharply increasing, I then asked myself: what should I do? I looked online, on TV, and on twitter just to see if I could find excitement. My search was extensive but turned out fruitless. I then looked on the App Store and saw that a game called "Timberman" was on the top 100 list. Curious about the flappy bird-like animation, I thought this could be another wondrous creation of Dong Nguyen, but turns out it wasn't his creation. Anyways, I continued to download this age and my life changed forever. The rest of my summer has already been undoubtedly consumed by this amazing game. I recommend this game to everyone. This game is slightly better than flappy bird.

Addicting but doesn't represent. The game is highly addicting and fun to compete against your own high score or friends. The graphics are simple yet fitting and gives the player the feeling of playing in an old arcade. The only reason I didn't give this game 5 stars was, while the different avatars are very creative, there is only one woman character to chose from. It was just slightly disappointing and could be an easy fix if the creators cared about gender equality .

The next Flappy Bird. With Flappy Bird, it was only kind of fun whenever you played it with friends. After the phase died down, there wasn't really a point to the game anymore because nobody really wanted to play it. However, with Timberman, you're constantly competing with yourself to unlock new characters and better scores, which was one aspect Flappy Bird lacked greatly. Overall, 5 star addicting game and I hope this catches on like Flappy Bird did.

I knew it!. I remember getting this game when it wasn't on top charts and no one even knew it I thought I had potential and would rise up just like flappy bird and no one believed me all my friends said that "that game is so stupid it's never gonna get popular" and now with the new 1.3 update and it's in the top 5 in the App Store all my friends are playing it! It's even on the news! I'm so proud if this game!❤️👌

Glitch must read. Ok this is how to never die just go into the app and go to the characters and go to the first one then hold down the arrow button the left one and the select button at the same time then release them then you hit play after you've done that your guy should be invisible hit play and he should still be invisible if he is not delete it from multitasking and try again

Ok game but really?. It's a great and fun game like flappy bird, but really the rating is 17+ I am 11 and I think that a 5 year old could play this game there's no violence except when the timber wood man gets hit by a tree branch and there's no bad language the reason I'm saying this is I mentioned this game to my older 14 year old cousin and she just wasn't able to get it because of these ratings then I secretly let her play it on my phone and she loved it but she was so sad she couldn't get it on her phone.. Should revise game ratings like to 9+ :-)

Simple, fun, but.... Okay, so this is a super simple game and concept, so I feel it only deserves an average rating. It's a bit addicting if you start to tap quick enough, but you HAVE to fix one thing. When you "die" in the game and that "RETRY" pop up comes around, update the game so we can just tap the screen elsewhere to just start up a new run. We know we aren't gonna watch the ads, so don't make us wait 5 seconds (which is actually really long if you just wanna play). It really takes away from the game for me and makes me not wanna continue.

Incredibly Lame and Unentertaining. This has gotten out of hand. Sometimes apps can be simple yet fun but this is ridiculous. There is literally no gameplay except tapping on the left or right sides of the screen depending on where the branch is. It was instantly boring, but I decided to get a little farther in case any new mechanics were introduced, such as birds or falling branches. Nope. Just the same thing over and over again. Well, maybe it will be addicting because of unlockables. Well there are plenty of outfits to unlock but they have no impact on gameplay whatsoever an they are unlocked just by getting more and more points. No challenges, no achievements, no upgrades. Then why are there all these 5 star reviews? Because there are plenty of websites where you can buy good reviews. Simple as that.

Great game. This game is so addicting and challenging! It's fun to try harder and harder trying to beat your high score, and playing it more frequently to unlock all of the characters. At first I thought this game was going to be stupid and then I tried it out, it turned out to be one of my favorite games by far! As in ranking standing next to Scribblenauts and Baseball superstars 2010. Anyways, this game is fun for you and best part is you can show off your high score to your friends. This game will blow you away with how much fun is packed into one tiny app. This app is way better than one of those stupid flappy bird remakes. Those make me hate flappy bird more and more.
