Disappointed. I was very happy with this game until I found out that you have to pay for each level. And the level I bought does'nt have very many words. I am very disappointed and would not have paid for it if I had known that. It is not worth it!

Can’t log in!. This app ha s had so many bugs. Once again the login button doesn’t work.

Obvious features lacking. If you put in a word you have already spelled, you have to eat race it let her buy letter and backwards. Ridiculous. Needs an eraser or better yet the word just pops away if you've already entered it. Also needs an end button. When you have 10 of 15 words can't end.

Love it!. Very nice and fun game the last update is a good improvement.

Frustrating. It worked great for a couple of days. After that it crashed every time I tried opening it. The payment for the app only seems to be for my phone. Trying to put in on my tablet, they want me to pay for it again.

Too many acronyms & obscure words!. In addition, too many ordinary words aren't included. This is nonsense & the player frequently feels cheated out of points. The "cards", so to speak, are stacked against the player ! Waste! There are better word games out there, that r more satisfying!

Fun but crashes. I've paid for the pro game on 2 different devices. After 2 to 3 days of playing on both, it won't open. Rip off. After all the complaints, I don't understand why they haven't fixed it.

Crap. Not sure if I've ever seen an app worse than this piece of crap - ridden with glitches, crashes all the time, consumes battery with horrifying speed.

[Will update review]. You would really expect the full app to be designed better and run smoother than the minigame embedded in the Free Dictionary app, but it's not at all. There's a tiny but noticeable delay each time you tap a letter, and you have to tap EACH letter in reverse order to delete a word, which is a significant downgrade to what I thought was a clever and streamlined design. Plus the visuals are uglier, and the multiplayer features don't seem to work. You're better off downloading The Free Dictionary just to play WordHub if that's your thing. Edit: I managed to play my first multiplayer round (after 6–8 separate occasions when it claimed to have trouble connecting to the internet, even though my connection was fine. I'm not the first person to complain about this either). I'll wait to see if this is an improvement or a fluke. It's definitely useful to know how to clear a whole word, but why not keep the mechanic where you can tap any already-tapped letter and erase everything after it? It's both more efficient and more intuitive, in my view.

NO Support, Buggy, Pay Twice -- App and Online. I've been asking over and over to get various bugs fixed. Earlier, they responded, saying they'd fix them soon. Now, no response at all. I paid for the iPhone app, but that doesn't allow me to use the online app -- they want me to pay AGAIN! They say they're working on this glitch -- for MONTHS. Oy. I really hate the in-app polling -- "Do you love it? No? Tell us about it." It's all aimed at preventing you from reviewing the app here and giving them a bad review. Too late.

Addictive and Educational. Kind of like bogo, but more fun. I learned some new words!

Good.. I am not good at this word game but I think it will help my thinking.

Game lover. The only way to stop the buggy /ads is to turn off the notifications on all apps .

Word hub. Paid for this game, been playing for over a year, and now suddenly if I want to keep playing, I have to pay again. I don’t think so!!

Give This A Try. This seems like an interesting and awesome game to do to learn vocabulary an aggrandize your knowledge.

Nice app when it works. I have deleted this app and downloaded it several times. It says that I’m not connected to the internet and yet I am. Also, I’m a big fan of the free dictionary. It’s a great little game but right now just a bit glitchy. Good luck

Good game, slightly buggy, $$$ for solo play. The game is entertaining, and gives you the option of playing Farlex users - great if you're not into social media. The down side - games don't time out quickly enough. After waiting hours for opponents to play a round, and signing off, I reopen the game to find I've lost because the other player finally came back while I was sleeping. I purchased the app to remove ads and to play the solo version. It started randomly crashing after solo play. Also be forewarned, purchase doesn't buy you unlimited solo play - you have to buy every level. Love Farlex but this was a HUGE disappointment.

Crashes a lot!. The game is fun, but the app crashes while playing single games. Many reviewers complain about this problem. The fact you have to pay for each level is also a "turn off".

Word Hub. I am very disappointed in the app. The response of touching the screen is poor. I frequently have to tap the screen multiple times. This slows down my progress. It is too bad because I enjoy competing.

Nice game but too many money issues. I would really like this game but too many money issues. I had to apply for refund as it took my money for hints that I never got. Why should we have to pay to see the list of answers? I am afraid to even try and pay for that.

App review. Awesome game... Keeps my mind sharp and is satisfying to play! I play this instead of reading or tuning in to news channels with repeated depression features.

Can not play after level one. Yes that is correct! After completing level one you must purchase the game.

Time too short. This could be a good game if you could adjust the play time. Two minutes is ridiculous.

Extremely frustrating. I deleted the darned thing. Couldn't even login despite multiple tries using various options including email, Facebook and the free dictionary. Grrr!

Overtime it stops giving you hints and help you have to stop playing for a while. I had been playing this for a while and the hints doesn’t come in anymore overtime they stop it and then they offer you some for 99 cents up to five dollars but I am not paying for something that’s supposed to be free and I guess all the freebies are done for however I will continue to pay on and it is a fun game though

Nice Game. But have to pay for each level. Liked the game and paid 2.99 for pro. Next day when completed Level 1, it's asking to purchase Level 2 for 99c. No other way to get to level 2. Greedy and deceptive. Changing from 5 stars to 1.

Crashes. Every time I try to play a single player/timed game, it crashes when the timer runs out.

Enjoy playing, but.... I do have to restart the game a lot. However, I'm pretty addicted to it.

No wonder I can't win!. Two problems: 1. Many words are duplicated in the correct answers column. 2. Some of the words I input aren't credited. I like the concept, but it's a LOSING proposition!

Scoring. Scoring is confusing! The totals for points do not tally to the amount shown!

Glitched. Too many problems. Pay for full game it doesn't load properly to devices and you don't get full game. Waste.

Keeps asking you to go pro. Continually asks you to go pro or purchase coins. I just want a word game to pass the time. Sick of being asked for money all the time this is not for you.

Highly addictive. Good fun, highly addictive and frustrating when you can make the seven letter word.

Odd. Some really weird words are used in this game. I had to check regularly. It makes the game unfair. It's not entertaining or educational.

More than a game.. Most games just pass the time without doing anything much if at all. Wordhub gets you thinking and stimulates your brain to do some real thinking. Wordhub is weight training for the mind.

Developer Greedy and Deceptive. Wrote the following for in-app feedback, then noticed the dev’s greed and deception has been going on for some time: I bought the Pro version for $2.99, thinking I would be able to continue playing the game without the need to spend more money. I finished level one, now I’m prompted to buy level two for $.99. If I press No, I’m blocked from playing even level one games. I was evaluating the game to see if I should tell all of my family and friends about it. It is quite fun. And it helps me because I have terminal brain cancer. But to have to spend an additional dollar for each level, AND now cannot even play the first level, that is pure greed and extremely disappointing. Because I like the game, I’m providing feedback to give you (the developer) an opportunity to correct or provide an advisory that once a player completes a level, he/she must pay to continue playing even the first level. I have yet to provide a review on the AppStore for any app in the time that I’ve been using the store since the iPhone 4 came out, but I will go out of my way to make sure everyone knows the developers of this game are incredibly greedy. I feel so strongly about the greedy manipulation of your customers, everyone should know. Edit: just read previous reviews. Waste of time and money. Says that it was rated #1 2013-1015. Don't let that deceive you. It was a very good ap before the update in 2016, but not anymore. Now just an attempt to make money and not any fun. Many actual words not recognized. Don't waste your time or money.
