Pretty, but won't stream radio commentary to US. I can't find anything that suggests that the radio commentary won't work in the U.S. But all I get is silence, on all devices. Waste of time for expats trying to stay connected.

A question. Why am I unable to hear live audio Test Match Commentary or see videos in Dallas, USA?

Not just for Australia fans. This app is a real all-rounder! You get the international and domestic matches in Australia, including live streaming. You get ball-by-ball commentary and alerts for loads of other international matches in all three formats. This is hands down the best cricket app I’ve found from any source. Thank you,

Reliable app. I live in US and it’s difficult to watch live cricket, so I rely on getting news updates from cricketing world, why I like app is because of reliability of its news and scores and secondly no spam. Only problem is videos don’t work in USA which they need to figure out. There are tons of website available for cricketing news and stories but I felt there are more interesting spam free stories and news here than at any other place.

Gone bad. When it launched this app was good but now it is complete rubbish. Slow to load, crapping out during games and laggy updates. Support team is also useless and need to be chased to get replies days after you submit tickets. Missed opportunity.

Start times!!. Missed first half hour of Ashes play today. Started early but this app does not update ( or even mention in the first place!) what time play starts each day. Grrr!!

Can’t get iOS Chromecasting to wotk. Cricket Australia slings from my Android device ok, but on the iPhone the app can never find the Chromecast device.

The best. Very good app.

Subscription to live stream stopped. I bought the subscription late in the season last year thinking it would be good for a year. But after a seamless run for the last few games last season this season no international games can be streamed outside Australia. At least that is what it looks like. I don’t really mind losing out on half my subscription but it seems like it is not clear in the app where the streaming will work in the world. I am sure it is to do with fox taking the rights and screwing us. Just annoying. 2stars because it used to work great.

Great app for live matches, potential to be even better. Great app for seeing live stats on current matches, able to see the wagon wheel, the worm and the run rate. No historical stats however. Highlights section is good, showing wickets 4s and 6s. As a suggestion Would like to see DRS’s and dropped catches and other eventful moments that would make it onto the tv highlights package included in the app’s highlights. You can follow particular teams however it would be good to see a team overview page where you can see who is in the squad for teams you follow and be able to pull up player stats etc.

Annoying domain link. Overall a good app and extremely useful, the one thing that bugs me is the Domain Scoreboard link above the hotbar that opens safari whenever you accidentally press it. Also I liked in an older version of the app where it had a graph at the bottom of the summary page with ball-by-ball info and commentary.

Dear Cricket Australia. This app is awesome. I have loved the ease with which you can check the scores and drama in the wold of cricket. But recently I have noticed a bug. In the form of the app crashing every time I go to open it. I have the latest version of this app (updated it yesterday) I have tried restarting the device and everything. Please help!

Deleted!. I don’t pay a subscription to watch live but occasionally have watched highlights videos. Until today when I clicked on the highlight reel of the last day of the Boxing Day test. That lasted about one second when I realised I would have to sit through an ad first. As much as I love watching cricket (as a kid would spend days watching it ad-free on the ABC), I don’t watch it at all these days because I hate ads more than I love cricket. Consequently, app was closed and then deleted in the space if seconds due to the greed of the devs. Good luck Aussie cricketers, you have one less supporter now.

Turned to rubbish. This used to be my favourite app, giving real-time updates on matches I wanted to follow when away from other media coverage. However, the term ‘live’ is now a misnomer. The ball by ball match commentary is frequently several deliveries behind the real time game, often as much as two overs. The score sheet on the left of the overview screen is also a few runs behind what is happening live, and even worse is the live scorecard, which often takes several minutes to update a player’s score. At one stage during the Australia vs Pakistan test, David Warner had been dismissed and replaced at the crease by Steve Smith, yet Warner was still showing as being at bat a few runs less than he actually scored, and he a Marnus L were shown as the current partnership. The final insult was having a Sri Lankan wicket keeper listed as player of the match, and another Sri Lankan player list as the top scorer. This was an entirely different match on an entirely different continent!! Absolute rubbish

I Love this App but recently keeps stop working!. I’ve been using this app for years and loving it but since lately it stops working after a few days. When I click on the app, it gives a blank black screen. Whenever this happens, I have to delete the app, switch off my iPhone for a few minutes and then reinstall it. It happened several times. Not sure whether this is my phone or app. I have ios 13.1.3. However, love this app regardless of the pain caused lately. 😀

Cricket live don’t think so. Been using this app for years and generally enjoyed it some upgrades have been ok but the latest is just disappointing supposed to be live scores yeah right it used to be to be fair but since last compulsory upgrade (app won’t open without upgrade) scores freeze at a fixed point in matches and it’s anyone guess as to when the actual “live” score is a actual live score maybe you could change app name to cricket updates when we can be bothered why do apps always make problems where there were none there before leave things alone you did have a good app

Wicket replays. Would be excellent to be able to have the replays of the wickets in the scorecard again. Since the ashes have started I haven’t been able to see the wickets. Please fix this as it’s the only way to see if you can’t watch the whole days play. Thanks in advance

Turned to rubbish. I don’t often write reviews, but I’ve become so frustrated with this app, that I’m making an exception! Used to be great, but now is almost useless. You click on a match, and you can see a summary of the game, but when you click the scorecard to see what’s going on, you get the scorecard from some other random match. Tonight I was trying to follow the Scorchers game, and the scorecard showed the women’s international T20 from last night. This has now happened multiple times. Please fix this.

Could be more features. App is very handy however there could be more features. From experience this app only shows post game news and pre game is worth nothing giving the chance that there is pre game news. Also, not saying you shouldn't get the app I highly recommend it it doesn't have a way to lookup pro players or semi pro players and teams that aren't on the bbl or international sides are very hard to view if you can even veiw them. In the end combined with other apps however it isn't bad it could be better

Terrible. Seems like I’m definitely in the minority here, but my experience with this app has been nothing short of dreadful. It constantly glitches and crashes on me, often not even letting me open the app. And the times when I can use it, viewing the match results is extremely tedious with the system they have set up, as you can only select one format. Either that or you have to select ‘all formats’ which includes just about every single irrelevant little cricket match going on in the world. I just want to view results for Australian domestic, BBL and tests/ODIs. But it isn’t possible to view that at once, and to be able to view all those results you have to go through multiple different pages. Not to mention the video feature is just covered with ads, and often fails to load audio or visual, constantly getting stuck despite an entirely functional network connection. Overall an extremely poor app, I can’t believe there are so many good reviews - surely they wouldn’t be bots providing fake reviews would they? Anyway, from my experience, a very very poor app - developers should probably find a new day job, because they clearly aren’t very good at this. 1 star is generous

Extra Play Button Out of Place. This is a largely great app, but your videos have a very annoying feature. You have a play button in the bottom left corner & and additional one in the centre of the screen. This latter icon is redundant, interferes with viewing and is annoying to remove. Re-code your videos so that we can see the screen unimpeded please. Thanks

A Wonderful Facility to Help Follow Cricket. We have found the Cricket Australia Live link a marvellous way to stay tuned into the multitude of games being played. One could tot be too enthused about the live view link that means we can view the game when we are not able to be there and the multitude of links helps one keep up with the hAppenings of games both locally and internationally.

Used to great. This app used to be my go-to for cricket, listening, scores, stats, etc but just recently it has become really annoying to use. I hope this review helps moving forward but some issues I’ve had just recently include: Links to listen on Triple M or ABC not working, Scorecards from different matches coming up when checking overnight finishes, ads constantly popping up while reading articles, I understand that ads are required to help fund apps but constantly popping up and having to be forced down is over the top. Also had app crashes or freezing. I hope these bugs are fixed or I will need to find a new app to use.

Great way to keep track of Aussie Cricket. LOVE THIS APP!!!! Any Cricket fan, or even someone who just likes checking up on the scores, will love this. It has news, highlights, scores, live broadcasting/radio, live scores and much more! I also like how you can turn on notifications for different matches so that you know when a wicket is taken, or stuff like that. Simple, but useful. I rate this as one of the greatest cricket apps ever!

No Refresh & a feature. Today noticed that each time I checked the summary screen- an older score was showing compared to in the actual match ?? Also - for BBL - why isn’t the team batting second showing in the scorecard ? A few overs in - want to see who will batting for the next innings ??? Surely there can’t be any change to the line up ?

Disappointing. Exciting to think I could watch our cricket “live” on my iPads. Unfortunately the app is hugely disappointing, freezing every few seconds, taking ages, i.e., more than five minutes, to start up again, and then freezing within 20 seconds and remaining frozen. More disappointing than I can say. We can only hope it will improve as the summer continues. CA having decreed that Australians cannot watch men’s T20 and One-Day cricket unless we are wealthy enough to afford Foxtel, this Cricket Australia app is our only hope - but, alas, right now it is failing us. Indescribably sad.

The only best cricket app you could get.. Cricket Australia, I must say this is probably the best cricket app on the store, game or news, this app beats it all. Although I do like scoring a lot, I see lots of things happening badly on other scoring apps, so I would really appreciate it if you made a scoring app or make a feature to score on this app. Thanks for the effort on this app, it’s reaaaaaaaly good.

Good, but one thing. I enjoy using the cricket Australia live app and use it a lot. The features on the iPhone are very good and include different things to look at and a number of different stats, ladders, squads, news, videos and information. While the iPhone has these features, the iPad doesn’t. On the iPad you are still able to see matches, ladders, news and videos, but stats are unavailable to access as well as squads and other information, that the iPhone provides. Over all this app is very helpful and provides regular updates on cricket news for me as well as letting me see live matches scores and stats.

Very very poor. This app frustrates me intensely. It wants to tell me acres of obscure games but not BBL games or Shield games. For example I missed a Strikers game because it didn’t show in the upcoming games or even while the game was live yet it is all to ready to show me under 19 woman’s game between Namibia and Uganda. Another example is I went to see the Shiels fixtures remaining this year and it showed me 4 games which I thought was odd so went to another site and found there were many more. Another example are the player profiles that are lacking severely. If you are going to have the feature include all players not just a few. For the app of the sports governing body in Australia this is inadequate.

Really good app. This app is really good for cricket fans as it gives all the information, highlights and interviews of your favourite players. I know I can always rely on this app whenever I need to know broadcast info or simply when a game starts. This is also like the only app I know of the gives you all the information you need to know about the game. Definitely get this app

Best app for cricket. This app is excellent, it shows that money has been spent in delivering that seamless user experience. Very professional and the only popular app which has done advertisements(non intrusive/forced) properly an example for the others. The content is good but the way it is displayed flawlessly in this sleek app is exceptional. Has become better lately

So helpful. This app is sooooo good. It gives me all the latest scores of all the games that I like. For example when I was at a game of cricket, and I wanted to know the score of the Aus V Pakistan game I just logged onto this app and it let me know the score. And the when I scrolled down it tolled me that Gazza had taken 1 Hazlewood had taken 2 Starc had taken 4 and Pattie Cummins had taken 3. So basically it is just soo good. 11/10

Terrible notifications. Great app for scores and live stream. If I manually go to the app I can see the most up to date scores of any of the matches I wish to see. But the notifications are NEVER working. No matter how many re-installs or updates, they never want to notify me of ANYTHING. Apart from the First test is SA, I have spent all summer without notifications. Both international tests and Shield matches. Needs work. For an app that lets you customise the notifications you get, you would think that they would at least notify you for what you have asked for. Poor form CA.

Great for scores and footage, tiresome to read the news. As a cricket tragic, I am very grateful for this app and the services and information it provides. As a former journalist, I find the news articles tiresome unfortunately: way too much copy written by people who must know they don’t have a decent subeditor and who clearly have way too much time to write articles. I suggest more articles that are a briefer and less verbose, rather than a story filed every other day that is four times longer than it needs to be. Love the Cricket Network in particular: a brilliant use of funds that entertains the sport’s admirers and which can bring revenue through on selling matches. Well done.

Too clever by half. Courage. That’s what the designers of the recent interface changes have in spades. Courage to ship something so outrageously complex and difficult to understand. Gone are the days of being able to see today’s scores at a glance, or quickly check which games are on the schedule. Now, I don’t know whether to swipe up, down, left or right. One must actually concentrate hard to interpret the UI. A terrible update made by people who forgot the golden rule: keep it simple.

Quality going down lately. I love cricket live app and I check the online scores almost every day but it has come to my attention that the quality has been going down. Firstly for big bash games when you check the scorecard it comes up with random names that are not in the squad and are mostly from previous games. Another time when you check the scorecard it was left blank and there shouldn’t be that many ads just to watch a dismissal. CRICKET LIVE PLEASE FIX THIS

Wrong scores. Ridiculous app , matches don’t match the scores , when you click on the scoreboard for a game another games score come up , has been like this for at least 2 weeks, doesn’t anyone involved in making this app look at it and use it to check for any bugs 😡

Good and bad. This app is great most of the time and I live in it for much of the summer. But navigating the “Matches” tab is appalling. The UX Is confusing and today I had to go to google to find the result of a Sheild game after being unable to find the results of a recently completed game. Fix that tab and you’ll have a fantastic product.

Please test on iPhone X. This iPhone X has been out over a year and clearly this has never been tested on one by the developers. Even without an iPhone X they could test it with the simulator for the screen size. On an iPhone X screen the worm graph looks terrible when expanded to full screen. The formatting is off so instead of the legend being small at the bottom it changes layout so the graph itself only uses a small amount of space while the rest is white. The graph looks fine on an iPhone 8. This could easily be fixed if the deck opera actually bothered to test it! Also the live video on an X has a problem where the Done button is behind the quality control, which makes it impossible to press! Please test your product on all screen resolutions. That’s what the simulators in Xcode are for! Also why can’t the graph be expandable with the standard stretch gesture? With the Apple Watch app you never know when it’s finished loading. So you turn watch to look at score and then wait in unknown amount of time for an update. But if there is no change in score you don’t know if it’s updated. How hard would it be to have an indicator to say it’s refreshing the data?

Get the app. This app gives so much information about cricket and you watch every game live if get a cricket I’d which is free get it now it tells you about every game live or upcoming I love you will to if you like cricket like me even if you don’t mind cricket it’s still great it also gives you news about all the games

Dismissal replay issue. Overall quite good. Having an issue with getting replays of dismissals. As soon as I click on a particular dismissal or click show all, it automatically closes the app. I’ve tried updating the app, still the same issue. Another point is that unlike Cricinfo, this app doesn’t show how many overs remaining in an innings or in a days play in red ball cricket. I think it would give more context to the scores if we knew how many overs are left.

Great app, but can’t see full scores anymore. This is a terrific app that I’ve been pleased to have on my phone for years now. It’s always getting better, and it’s a pleasure to use. That being said, the new update has meant that I can’t see full scores for matches on my iPhone SE screen - I’m sure people with bigger phone screens can see, but not on this phone. If it’s possible to shrink the text instead of having a “...” after one digit in the score that would be great. Otherwise very happy with this app, keep it up!

Replays. I am currently in Malaysia, and sadly I cannot see any live / replays of Australian cricket. Through this page it tells me I cannot view in this region (outside Australia and possibly New Zealand). The only cricket channel we have here is streamed from Star cricket in India, and we are lucky to even get live Indian games, let only Australian ones. So better access through would obviously be better than what most cricket supporters face in non traditional cricket countries.

Good how was great before. Our family have used this app a lot the last few years following BBL, National and international games. It’s been great. Quite disappointing though since the update that you no longer offer the ball ball description of each over as this was very useful when unable to watch a game on TV or even to follow while at a game. Can you please restore this great feature? That would awesome.

Filters and Stats. This app is ok but not great. Here’s a few ideas for improvement. I get it is focused on Australia but I would like to see some development of the app on the ‘foreign’ series and matches so that I don’t have to find other apps) 1. Allow a user to filter the ‘Matches’ and ‘Series’ lists so I can pick those that a relevant to me and allow me select more than one item (eg. One time I might only want to see those items that involved Australia and England and another time England and India and South Africa). 2. There are practically no historical stats for players and teams other than for a match in progress, I want to search a list of players and teams without having to pick a particular game. 3. I would like to see lists of retired players like Warne, Botham etc and compare their stats to current and past players. 4. In the list of Matches often I cannot work out what teams are playing. For example in the current list of England’s Domestic T20 comp the only clue is a 3-letter acronym for a team... unless you are familiar with the teams there is no way to know who is who (and so I don’t bother investigating). 5. In the list of Series there is no way to view past series. I would like to be able to pick a year, filter by team(s) and type of series (Tests, OD, T20...). That’s just few ideas, could go on but not sure if it’s going to be ‘heard’ and acted in so I’ll wait for your feedback.

Always available. I find that a tv or radio is not appropriate to keep up with the cricket when I am with other people but the cricket app lets me keep an eye on the dcores, check the scoreboard and generally keep across the game I can then check on what BBl will be playing that night

Sad. I use this app a lot as a cricket lover, but I’m bitterly disappointed I can’t watch the game free like I could last year and the years prior. For your info it has resulted in me watching less cricket and paying less attention to cricket. I think the thirst for money is backfiring in the sense that I follow cricket less now because you require me to purchase the ability to watch the games. Jack

Awesome. This application gives you all the cricket information you could possibly need or want. All in an easy to use format. Even if the other half is watching ‘her shows’, I can still keep up to date with what is going on. 10/10

ADD MORE COMPETITIONS. Once you go into a players profile it only shows these four formats -Test -ODI -T20I - BBL Why? You MUST add more competitions to your app such as -Marsh Sheffield Shield -Marsh One-Day Cup -IPL -County Championships in England What are you doing ? We as users of the app demand it NOW! We want it because all of these players have worked VERY hard in these competitions and if we hear about an innings or great bowling figures we need to go digging through the games till we find what team they play for. But if they didn’t even play that game we need to go combing through that teams recent games till we find it

Not very good at all. Surprised by the favourable reviews this app receives. I use on both iPhone and iPad and it’s really quite poor. iPad experience is particularly awful. The app presents content very differently between the two devices and that would be tolerable if it updated regularly and reliably by sadly it doesn’t. The homepage will give you a game score that is an hour out of date. Click on the game and it gives you the real score, return to the home page and it’s back to the hour old score. If you’ve been following the women’s test, go to the men’s test next day and the women’s batters appear in the profiles. No doubt this is related to cookies etc. but it’s very frustrating. Nothing else out there as an alternative but when there is, I’m gone.

New UI is extremely difficult to use. They’ve changed the UI in the latest version and it makes it really difficult to find out what games are live or upcoming. For some reason you have to put in team preferences now, and then it sorts those results alphabetically rather than by game datetime. This is also weird because if you want to follow the big bash for example, you have to follow EVERY SINGLE TEAM. If you want to go down the preference route, let us select competitions, not just teams. If you’re looking at the all matches tab, games are sorted by date, but games which are on the same day are hidden behind a horizontally scrolling carousel. It’s really difficult to find a specific match, even if it’s live. I’m all for trying to make improvements to make apps easier to use, this update does the opposite. I recommend the app developer perform some UX testing and revert back to the old design or try something else. Give us a simple vertical list sorted by date time. Highlight live matches (and maybe starting soon) at the top and be done with it. Your users will thank you.

Doesn’t work as advertised. I have been using this app for a few years and through several versions so when travelling overseas through December 2017/ January 2018 I thought it was a great opportunity to try out the Live Subscription. Big mistake! I wasted my money!! Apparently if you subscribe to the 365 Pass while you’re in Australia then you can’t actually view live video while you’re overseas. Not that the alternative required to do so is even highlighted on the Australian App Store. No useful response by with Cricket Australia or Apple to my concerns. Rubbish service all round!

Adding overs left in days play into Summary section. Hi , First Class or Test Matches At the moment you don’t have this info: I would like to see the figure “count down of overs left in the days play” to be shown in the summary section. So when it’s getting tight, you can see easily the runs to get but currently we don’t know how many overs left in the day. Your app hasn’t had that for years so I then have to log into Cricinfo website & then I can find how many overs left in the day. Please can you add this function/number please, everything other than that is great on the app Cheers Rusty

Great app. I would recommend getting this if your looking at the cricket and want to see how’s out and all and it updates fast and you can listen to it. You can also access it fast and see everything you need to.

Really good but…. This app is excellent because it’s easy to use, and you can browse all the information about players and things. One thing is that the player stats can be a little hard to decipher. E.g., it might say BBL and then just have all the stats, but is that for the Big Bash League, or first class matches or list A or what?

Could be so much better. This is my go to app for scores but it frustrates me something chronic. Why? It is great for showing scores and details from a current innings. However, when viewing a completed innings, let’s say the first innings of a test match, the app will switch back to the current innings as you are inspecting the details of the first innings. This is a complete embuggerance. That is it is exceptionally annoying. Could I suggest that this be fixed please? Also could I suggest that with the fall of the wicket, the not out batter and their score be included? (Like you do in a hand written score book)

Australian Bowling. Current Ashes series is hard to watch with our current bowling… too wide, too short or both is just giving England a fighting chance… what happened to line and length and dot balls…. I don’t want us to retain the ashes due to rain delays, we need to win the old fashioned way which is to outplay your opponent. If our too order scored more runs, it would also give our bowlers a bit more support. Time to make some changes at the top of the order for future sake.

Great app for cricket fans. Clear concise information, covers all the major matches. Apple Watch app is very useful. However one thing that would make it 5-stars would be notification sounds (unless I’m doing something wrong) I just can’t get sound notifications when the alerts pop: e.g. I look down after 15 mins and find out 3 wickets have fallen.

Cricket. The best app for live commentary and live updates.

Total cricket tragic. Howdy. As an Aussie living in Canada for over thirty years I have googled trawled and searched for any and all ways to watch/listen to cricket here. I’ve done everything from shortwave radio in the early days to hanging out in the odd pub that had some cricket on tv. Today all I can say is good bless the internet and opportunities to listen via your cricket app radio. My life is so much more enjoyable now because of it. And my homesickness diminishes slighter because of being kept up to date.
