Pay to play, no scroll/swipe through. Honestly don’t care about the pay to play, but I hate that I can’t swipe through the flash cards. I also can’t put the alphabet in order. Solid first draft, but needs work.

I would give this Zero stars!. I wanted a simple alphabet flashcard app for my son, but all you get is 6 letters with the rest locked. They ask for an adult three finger unlock which automatically tries to charge your apple account. No warnings or asking if you want to purchase their product. I will be removing this app immediately. Buyer Beware!

Lies: it has in app purchases. The App Store description does not indicate that there would be in app purchases. This is deceiving and tricking children.

Cost is outrageous. .99 cents to unlock letters is absurd. I’d be willing to pay $5-$6 for all letters unlocked like real flash cards but the cost per letter alone is insane. Hard pass.

Functionality is horrible. Don't waste your time with this one. Plenty of other apps that do it better!

Don’t download. The game is doesn’t have Certain letters and numbers and it uses big words.. if your toddler doesn’t speak at all and can only say Mama or dada pls don’t download it the game had siamese cat in it

Well worth it!. This app is great. My 2 year old and 4 year old love it! Unlike most it has a lot of categories to learn from.

Unorganized App. The app speak clear for baby to understand but nothing is in order. You have to tap on the flash card multiple times to get everything (sound, pronunciation, and example) and it’s not in order sometimes it make the sound but if you tap again it may sound again!

Not bad but needs work. There needs to be more options. Wanted this so my child could tell me letters, but the app says it for them. Needs more options, more choices, more customization. Or just needs to be normal flash cards. App seems to be all over the place. Needs to be reorganized.

“Free App”. I was looking for free apps for my 1 year old to start playing with and while this app is advertised as free once I opened it I was given access to about 6 letters/colors per page... anything I click on tries to charge me. Disappointed.

Don’t waste your money. Half of the letters are not even included on the flash cards. This app is a scam and waste of money. Don’t waste your time.

Terrible. You tap on a card and it reads but there is no way to go to the next and it doesn’t give the child time to answer. Avoid wasting your time

Meh could be better. So I like the app and my complaint is the same as some others. It's confusing to have to go back finger hit the wrong number or letter then have to start over. If you could swipe vs tapping its be 5 stars!!

I want my money back. This app is stupid. You cannot swipe through the flash cards. You cannot see the upper and lower case of each letter, and the letters and numbers are not in order! I wish I could return this app.

Beginners please?. I just wanted my kid to have some simple ABC Flashcards (preferably in alphabetical order). No options but everything is all over the place. It would be awesome if my 12 month could talk and new those basics already, but the app is a bit scrambled.

Can’t swipe. Seems like a simple thing, but you can’t swipe or tap through the flash cards.

Ehhhh. I don’t know. I appreciate the app was only .99. But I don’t understand why all the letters are out of order. And so are the numbers. I don’t like that. I wanted to start flash cards with my daughter but I would like the option to shuffle them. I’m unable to put them in order. Is this on purpose or am I missing something.

Need more capability. I would like to lock out the features I don’t want my toddler playing with. I don’t want him looking at the random pictures of stuff when I want him to focus on letters. I should be able to lock onto letters.

Don’t waste your money.. This app is terrible, for .99 you get basically nothing and the flash cards aren’t in order, the numbers only go to 10, for being a “baby learning” flash card it is so hard to follow. Half the letters are capital, half aren’t, sometimes when you press the letter it says the sound sometimes he name and a few have “a is for ....” it’s kind of weird, definitely not worth paying for, don’t waste your money.

Not enough content. Very basic flash card. Not enough content. Didn’t even have all the colors. What a waste of money. Totally regretted it after 30 seconds in.

Disappointed. When I first saw this app, I was excited! I thought I had finally found a simple Flashcard app that featured the actual letter instead of a huge distracting picture. The ad also made it look like there would be upper case and lower case letters such as H and h. In order to see what letters are actually there, you have to pay. But when I paid for the full set, I quickly realized that there are not upper and lower case letters. There are only two lower case letters and the rest are uppercase and that is it. So if you are looking for an app that has a J and j card, don’t buy this app.

A little money hungry?. Is it really necessary to only allow for 6 letters before grabbing at my credit card? Can’t there be at least ONE subject complete before they start charging? This is the reason why I don’t let my children use electronics.

Payment. It gave me A through F without asking for payment, but then wanted a payment for the rest of the alphabet. Either make the app free or don't, but don't lead me to believe it is free if it is not.

You have to get this app. Best flashcard app I've seen in a while. My kids is 2 and he loves it. I'm obsessed with the animals even I learned something. This is so cool. I'm looking for other languages now. The English voice is perfect and has a perfect English accent... North American English.... This is perfect for learning I highly recommend it.

Dog, cat, bird????. I like the app. I HATE the "dog" "cat" "bird" examples!!! WHAT is up with naming all the different breeds of cat, dogs, and birds??? Seriously! I just want my toddler to learn "cat" "dog" "bird"!! It is WAY too confusing as a toddler to learn "Dalmatian" "short hair cat" "Gooden retriever" "pigeon" "sparrow" etc instead of just "dog" "cat" "bird". It's the weirdest feature I've ever seen in a toddler app! His Gemini program (communication program developed based on science and research) shows a variety of different pictures of the same type of animal and calls it the generic version of the animal (dog, cat, bird) so the child understands that a type of animal can look many ways. Kudos for using real pictures and a variety but for the love of God PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this issue!!!

Not satisfied. Didn’t have much cards and everything is out of order.

In app purchases. I’m so sick of in app purchases. Just give content like this for free. It’s literally for learning purposes. Uninstalling.

Not worth the purchase. Did I really just pay $0.99 for this app to not provide the entire alphabet?? Nothing is in order as it should be. Can I have my $0.99 back?

Not that great. Should give you more user control and allow you yo lick the card to specific sets rather the cycling between similar alternatives for each word.

Great learning tool but not free. You have to pay 99cents to unlock it BUT BEST 99 cents ever spent!

Need improvement.. Bad app. Have to click out of each letter to show your child another one. No random setting. No voice setting---auto voice gives all answers away. Would not recommend. Would not spend $0.99 on this. Needs work.

No options!. Why can’t you choose to show all the letters either capitalized, phonetically, lower case or with animal for reference. Same for numbers. This should be fixed.

Not flash cards. These are flashcards… They are pictures that you can tap on that immediately tell you what it is… My toddler can’t learn if they’re given the answer before they can name it themselves. Also, you can’t swipe through them or go back-and-forth… They are just pictures that you tap on.

Don’t waste your time. If you’re looking for a free learning app for your children don’t waste your time on this app. I mean if you only want your children to learn the first six letters of the alphabet then this app is for you, every letter after is ninety-nine cents!!! I’d rather go buy an entire pack of flash cards at target for a dollar. What a waste...

Waste of time, data and space. The free version of this app includes six letters of the alphabet... yes, you read that right, 6!!! The rest are locked, I presume, for access only after making an additional “purchase”. I didn’t even look at what is included in any of the other categories (shapes, numbers, colors, etc.) because I’m so annoyed by this. Deleting this useless app immediately.

Not worth it. Doesn’t give you the option to have lower case or capital letters. Also numbers ply go up to 10. Disappointing.

Poorly set up content with no control option. No way to put letters and numbers in order or keep them to one format (uppercase/lower case). Also don’t like that you can’t swipe to the next card, after each it takes you back to the main page. I did pay the$0.99 to have access to all the numbers and letter but then I realized how inconvenient the set up is and won’t be using this app any longer.

Missing something. The app is fine for .99, I just would like to be able to repeat a card with a tap and swipe back to the main menu. Instead, a tap takes you back to the menu and your card selection is random. Would give 4 1/2 stars, but that's not an option.

To many flash cards to buy. I’m a single mother three trying to get my 4 year old ready for school and you have to buy most of the flash cards that’s ridiculous.

Out of sequence. The letters and numbers are not in order. They are not set up as actual flash cards either. If you click on a card you have to go back to get a new one.

Good content, a few suggestions. I’m a speech therapist and I was looking for some quick Flashcards to work on basic concepts. This is a simple easy to use app. However, I would like to see an option to make all the letters uniform to one format (all uppercase, etc) instead of changing each time I hit the card. Secondly, I would like the app to switch to the landscape position as I use an iPad during therapy and it would be more convenient. Overall, great, simple app.

Pay for whole app. You have to pay the $1 for the whole app or you only get certain flash cards.... so you get 2,3,4,7,8,10 and you can pay for the other....? Stupid.

Can’t change the letter. It won’t let you slide to the next letter it changes to another setting everyone you push on the letter... not very smooth

Deceptive In-App Purchases. Any app that tries to get you to spend money without telling you how much and when gets 1 star on principle. I would give it less than 1 star if that were an option.

No order. You have to tap on each picture one at a time. The alphabet isn’t in order or the numbers. It’s confusing for kids to change the picture with the numbers for each number.

Can’t even see the letters. You have to purchase the rest of the letters after F, why would I pay to see the alphabet?

Not very impressed. I paid for the full version before fully exploring the app, which was silly. You cannot scroll through the flash cards, once you are in one you have to tap back out to access another. The alphabet is a mix of lowercase and uppercase letters and the numbers only go from 0-10. The cards change in each category and are captioned with proper names (Yorkshire terrier instead of ‘dog’)- some might appreciate this but my 2 year old is more likely to learn to recognise ‘dog’ or repeatedly exposed to it rather than specific breed names.

Great app. Our 1.5 year old was showing interest in alphabet, so we got this app. Very simple to use but covers all the basic vocabulary that children should learn. There is no need for other fancy apps. Good to remind us what else we should talk about with her.

Need to pay for more than six letters. This app requires you to pay for the entire alphabet. And subsequent additional payments for numbers and other flash cards like shapes. Not worth it.

Baby Flash Card. I like the real photo pictures in this app and the simple one page, large pictures. I would remain many of the pictures using simple language (ex. Cat,instead of the type of cat). I would suggest parents use all Apps interactive with their child not just to keep them busy for awhile. It's an okay app but not a great one!

Great idea but can use some changes. This is a wonderful flash card app. I do have a few problems with it, though. First, some things are too detailed. Such as the specific animal names. Toddlers don't need info such as Norwegian cat. Cat (by itself) is all they will see it as. Second, I don't like how the flash cards change in each spot. Each card should have its own place. Other than those issues, we really like this app. Great pictures and a clear, easy to understand voice.

Good Learning App. Good learning app for 1-3 year olds. Just think that some of the pics that coincide with the letter should be less complex & more common for everyday usage.

Great App for Basic Skills. This app is wonderful for addressing the basic skills that many kids arrive in kindergarten without. Sadly, you can no longer expect kids to come with colors, numbers, and a good foundation in letters and sounds. Some kids just need a review and this is a nice app for that.

For babies or four year olds?. The title and the description say that this is appropriate for very young children, including those under one year of age, then in the details section it says for children 4+. This may be an editing issue. I am a Speech Therapist working with children 0-5, and while I agree that a child of 9-12 months could use this app, I do have a few issues. First of all, children learn best from interactions with others. If you are using this to get a moment's peace, fine. If you are expecting it to teach your children vocabulary, put the iPad away and read them a book please. I also wish that there was not so much emphasis on letters and numbers for very young children. I like the toys, clothes, and other everyday items better. I do thinks it's a nice easy app for young children to operate, but it is no substitute for play or even helping mom or dad with everyday chores that involve real items and real people.

Ok. This app could be awesome if by pressing the same picture you get letter, sounds of letter and pictures of things starting with letter instead of losing sounds like every other touch. Hard for teaching

Great for toddlers. This is my sons favorite app. Wish it had a little more variety.

Love it but could use another option. I love watching my 17 month old trying to speak the words he's learning from this app! The only thing I would prefer is that instead of constantly going back to section's categories, having an option made to go through a category at one time before going to the next stack of cards.

Like the photos. I agree with an earlier review- it's kind of strange how it goes to the menu when tapped. My 3 and 5 year olds enjoyed the animals with the names, but it's over my 18 month old's head. He does enjoy the animal pics though.
