My goto source of gaming news. No complaints.

Fundamentally flawed. Any time I start it up works fine for about 3 seconds and then freezes up. I also miss the option to have the app start up with “my topics” being the default page, because that’s all I care about; a bit of a personal gripe but I can see this upsetting other people. Ive also noticed some comments floating around to articles they aren’t originally for. I love this app but I just want to see it become better. Also getting notifications for articles I have no interest in is pretty annoying too.

Bring back old design. The new scroll design is trash and confusing. It’s to hard to navigate through my stuff without seeing stuff I didn’t wanna look at in the moment. Plus the time table on when articles are available is horrible I wanna read what I missed yesterday not just 1 hour ago

Needs to be updated!!. Ever since the new iOS version has been released this app freezes and crashes. I love the app but it needs to be updated.

I paid for no ads previously and now a ‘no-ad subscription model’ was implemented… I check this app multiple times a day and participate in discussions and am very disappointed in this change without my knowledge. I especially dislike that I already PAID to have no ads… Very shady business practice. Will likely delete and find another service. Thanks for the few good years!

Good gaming news aggregator. Have to click through an ad at startup, and see “sponsored stories” in amongst the real stories, but this app gets the job done better than any of the other free ones I’ve used (Appy Gamer, looking at you...). It would be nice if you didn’t have to open so many of the news stories in a browser, and if you could better categorize the content displayed, but it’s good overall. Would definitely recommend.

Needs UI work, turn off comments. The app has the basic structure. You can downvote topics or block news sources. The app needs a dark mode for sure. It feels clunky and like something from 2010. There is community commenting but do yourself a favor and hide comments. It’s nothing but mysogynist and racist comments. Tons of immature flame wars against what console is better, and you can rate articles by “awesome “can’t wait” “crap” etc. However when you let a toxic community rate articles everything basically gets rated the opposite it should be. Clearly the toxic part of the community found a safe place in this app. Honestly the community part should just go. Use that effort to make other parts of the app better.

Best current gaming news app!. Was looking for something decent to replace Appy Gamer as they folded and came across this great app. Fast, smooth, relevant gaming topics. Recommend devs add a DARK MODE for night reading. Good job, guys!

Good app but needs some updates. I like the app it’s good at what it does but need to be updated and where is that dark mode update comp ON!!?!?

Can run a little slow. But not as bad as it did .. probably the IOS

Absurd adds. The adds have become so intrusive the app is almost un usable. Adds will pop up every 20 seconds even in the middle of articles, and many of them will not go away for over 30 seconds. This app used to be great. But now 5 minutes of browsing will allow you 1 minute of reading chopped up by piles of different adds, that will not allow you to exit them for ridiculous amounts of time. I’ve had the app for years and I’m giving you a week or 2 tops to fix this. Because it is borderline scamming. It is almost impossible to use the free version of the app at this point.

Right wing app. I have had this app for the last five years. Lately the comment section has turned political and conservative leaning. The people who run this app protect those that trash liberals. Had to delete it because they refuse to regulate it based on their own rules. If you hate liberals and want to join in on the hate, this app is for you. Very disappointed in the Conservative NewsFusion company when the comments should be about games and not anti vaxx and right wing garbage

Eh. Update: I’m surprised there are so many glowing reviews for this app. It never works the way it’s supposed to. Completely unrelated articles will be grouped together as one but there’s no way of knowing that unless you view the entire group manually. Even when there’s only one article, ungrouped, I frequently see comments that have nothing to do with the article. What are they seeing that I’m not? Sometimes I’ll load the app and only about ten articles will show up even though I’m viewing “All News”. Even rebooting the app doesn’t fix it. Recently they started including Reddit posts in the article list and it’s very clear there’s nothing of value in them. Other site, when trying to load them through the app, won’t load or crash. There’s no point to this app unless you feel like IGN just isn’t reporting on enough. Now whenever it's open, at the bottom this black box says "Welcome back" and won't go away, so I can't touch any of the buttons under it. Even though I get this welcome message, it doesn't seem to be signing me on because whenever I try to comment, I get an error message. There doesn't seem to be a way to sign in or out anywhere in the app. So if you don't want any personalization or social interaction, sure this app is great. I just want it to work like it did before I updated.

5 Stars!. I have to say that this is my favorite app on my phone right now. I love video games and the stream in this app keeps me up to date on all of the new game news. I've tried other "gaming news" apps but they just didn't compare to this one. I use this app at least a few times a day to read up on anything I may have missed. Thanks to the developers of the app!

Its not Appy gamer but it will do. Unlike the now extinct Appy gamer, this apps articles are through a link in which it sends you to, you dont view the articles on the app itself.

Just a little Short. The application most likely deserves a "5" but where my interests lie in gaming it falls slightly short. The application provides a front that is really a list of gaming occurrences that might interest the user. When the user selects a subject they end up at a website independent of this application. Consequently the information is not standardized and information provided is at the whim of the game advertiser or subject author. If this application would offer a synopsis with the basic information prior to sending the user to a website the application would be more useful. For instance listing whether the game referenced is an RPG, is a single player game, multi-player online, etc. Massive multiplayer on line gaming isn't for everyone. I, for one would like to know more about a subject before visiting the website. Otherwise I can't fault its purpose and by all means recognize it as an excellent gaming information source.

Keeps me well informed about gaming.. It's a must have for anyone looking to stay up to date on console and pc gaming news.

Hateful and insensitive comments need moderating. The Awesome, LOL, Crap, etc system is fun as are comments. But when a post celebrating LGBTQ inclusivity in gaming gets 17 “craps” (vs 2 “awesomes”) as well as three insensitive or hateful comments, it becomes a problem. This pattern repeats with racial inclusivity posts as well. The pattern is such a sad reflection of the gaming community. The lack of moderation is part of the problem.

Occasionally doesn't load stories. Used to work fine other than some lag/freezing when scrolling, but lately there are times it shows no stories. Closing the app or changing the feed sorting order doesn't fix it either.. just have to give up and try again later.

Loving this app for years. This app has been my go to source for gaming news for years now, it makes it way easier then having to go to every website to find general news on games. I also like that you can rate the different articles and comment on them through the app. I finally just went ad free lol

3 stars as past performance was good. When I first installed the app I was able to get to any tile and see what I wanted to see with was. Since the update, seconds after opening the app it lags then freezes. On many occasions it crashes and starts back up and then freezes. This is both on the main page and notifications for stories I would like to read and then within the stories. This all since the last update. I was a daily user but now it is not worth the hassle until it is fixed.

Wow!. I tried other video game apps for daily news - none I have found compare! Everytime I open this it has a new bit of info for me.

It's a pit of dirty practices.. Link bate, opinions before critique, inflammatory opinions can be called out most times in the title but there is no shame among this subset of news, constantly trying to put up movie news, adds and blogs when clearly I'm not here for that. when my phone tells me of a low battery percentage the entire app resets. What dams this app is it pulls from all the other sites as frequent as possible so you will see the same articles about the most unimportant topics, "kojima leaving?!?!?" Bloodborn (insert glitch, opinion or walkthrough on how to finish the easiest tasks) replete for each topic at least 3 times. When a game like destiny came out the app lost all its variety. The loot cave was every 2nd topic. This app has no spine or curators, It merely telephones headlines from popular sites gaming or not. Recently every 6th topic is just an add now so there is little here of value.

Constant News. This is a great app and constantly keeps me informed with everything going on in the gaming world... You can even have it give you only news on subjects you are interested in.

My favorite app!. Seriously, I check it everyday, sometimes 5 or 6 six times a day. So much news about games and movies and everything I'm interested in. The different sources are great to check good stories or reviews. So many good articles to just read to fight off boredom or to check on the latest news about my favorite games. Very reliable and enjoyable!

Very informative. I just downloaded earlier today and I feel like I've caught up on six or seven months of news. My only worry with this app will be all the time I might lose on it.

I love it. I do have a first gen iPad mini so things are going to be slow on most apps but I got to say I love what they have been doing with this app. I have had it for about 2 years now and I can't stop looking at it everyday because it's so organized. Good collection of articles. It's a good app, and it provides a good collection of a variety of articles from popular game sites. Although the app itself is a little difficult to navigate sometimes, and the articles can be a tad repetitive, but it's a good little app for the most part.

Ok app. This app is mostly great in terms of content/articles, but there is one thing that really bugs me. The article ratings are not varied at all. There are 3 basically identical positive ratings (amazing, can't wait, and awesome), 1 semi-neutral but mostly negative (overrated), and 1 totally negative (crap). So you pretty much only have a choice between love or hate if you want to rate anything. There are also a few other minor bugs, but those aren't that big of a deal.

More apps like this need to be created. I like this app because it pulls all the gaming news sites to one app. I like it because this app gives credit to the site this app found the news from. I would like the app to have more color in the background, more updates, and let people who use this app post news. Keep on the amazing work. Also add a social sever where we can talk to our many friends on this app and your other apps so you can get viewer on this app or your other apps. Great app but interface needs further optimization. The interface limits you to how much items you can browse and how easy you can browse different subjects. I think it is good that there are categories specific for the popular on demand games! It definitely is good that the web sources are cited for valid verification.

Improvements & likes. This app could use a few improvements, but one of the biggest I would hope to be added in the future would be to select specific content to flag out. I myself am not a big fan of dragon age, and would like to flag it out, but if I do that I flag out the development studio instead of the game.

Great gamer app!. But why is it, that every time I leave the app to change my music, or do a quick google search it restarts at the beggining? It completely reloads the news feed to the very top. It's very annoying and almost every time it happens I just don't bother to scroll back down and find my place. Frustrating to say the least. #1stworldproblems

Easy and fun way to hear news. Before the app, You either scoured igns most ridiculous articles to get real content on what game devs are doing or go to there each individual twitter or facebook accounts where they rarely post anything for news. So to hear all the lastest news all the time is pretty cool. It isnt the fastest at posting it, but it gives real articles written by real people from other websites. So most of the time get the inside scoop on what happening. All in all a great app. P.s. I love the forum content!

Pretty good. Definitely good for keeping up to date on certain games. There are many articles that pop up which are written in a different language. I don't mind the ads but I wish they were more clearly marked as ads. Overall, it keeps me in the know as to what's going on in the video game world.

5 stars. This is my go to app for my gaming news and it does not disappoint. It has all the latest and relevant news across the gaming industry and its the app I use to keep me in the know. It aggregates news from many different sources and allows to filter topics so you only get the news you want. Great app and an easy 5 stars.

Ads ahhhh. Too many ads

Good but..... I really like this app. It keeps my informed with everything that's going on in the industry. But it keeps freezing on me while I scroll. It freezes for about 5-10 seconds then in freezes. It happens multiple times in a minute. Hope this gets fixed soon, but other than that. Great app!

Great app but.... I think it would feel better if the interface was updated for the new iOS. I'm a huge fan of the look and feel of the new iOS. If it were updated and looked a little cleaner I think 5 stars would be easy to give.

Started off great now garbage. Ive had this App for years and like many things in life it started off fantastic and now its unbearable. They have done zero work in the benefit of the user ( only updates to match new phone releases it seems or bug fixes ) I dare the developer to point out any upgrades that actually improved reading or given its users anything with ease of use or UI updates. Same format since I had this so many years ago…. Now that would be fine if and the key word is IF…. If the developer didnt add these insanely annoying, broken , intrusive and a insane amount of ads. Since last month I cannot finish a article or even write a comment without being placed in a inescapable loop of ads that often if not every time forces me to view another till I ultimately have to restart the app…. and when I start the app again i need to head ALLL THE WAY BACK!!!! …. More times then not lets say 9 outta ten times I cant find my way back because I will be trapped in the same loop in a endless bout just to try and freaking read or comment. Its maddening and really sad. You had a decent amount of ads between the articles and it was fine.. however at this time of writing not only as I scroll im stopped every few seconds or articles you have the gall to have adds in between articles. It seems like almost every two or three is another add that looks and feels like a article but is not…. So you force me into adds when I dont want to be and you make it even more challenging to ever reach deep into the feed. The amount of greed or desperation from this company had forced me to delete you and also recommend everyone do the same until you get your stuff together. You need us we dont need you. These updates show just how meaningless we are in the plight to monetize. I was loyal and in a span of weeks your greed has made me furious. Good bye i know this wont matter but im gonna put my foot down.

Excellent App. This app is quite informative regarding video and computer gaming. It gives some of the latest news in the gaming world, as well as game previews and some other fun, game-related columns. Definitely an app I will use in the future, especially to help me decide my video game purchases.

Frequent crashes. This app became my go to when I had enough of IGN's obtrusive ads in their app. Things were going great for a while, but after the last update I have experienced frequent crashes right in the middle of reading articles. Finding the article again can be really challenging because after the crash the articles will aggregate in a different order. Hopefully this is a known issue that will be addressed.

Perfect for video game enthusiasts!. I check this all the time, especially for information on the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch! My only criticism is that in future versions you could perhaps display the full article rather than having to enter the browser. I love this app and it's the absolute best for video game news.

Garbage ads. Title

Thanks for the great app.. Like the new functions. One of the best apps for gaming news in my opinion. One thing that definitely need some fixing is that readers get thrown back to the top article after the app got minimized. It's very frustrating to have to scroll through all articles again from the beginning.

Amazing, at a glance, news. I love how at a glance I can simply open the app and everything was there. Information is current and fast, no news that had been know for days. Being able to see platforms, developers, and more that only I want to see is great so I don't have to look though the other platforms in not interested in. This is simply awesome

Best Game News App. I use IGN frequently, but this app is just amazing. Bite sized news feed, with links to the original articles from all popular game new sites. I highly recommend you pay for no ads and support the devs. $3 is completely worth it for the quality of this app.

Good app, could be organized better. The very first thing I noticed was that the "Latest" "Day" and "Week" categories were giving me the same news stories. Why not just have one continuous stream if they all have the same stories? I think it would be better if there was limits on which stories went where. Say, stories in the last 8hours are on latest (in order of recent), stories that are from the previous day are on Day (order of latest), and the week's stories are in the week category (excluding stories that are on Day and Latest, I think week should be ordered by "hotness" or something, a rating system for news that occurs on Week that rates it by how exciting or new the news is). Some of these features would create a much better user experience in my opinion.

First review I ever wrote for any online thing!. So I took the time and went down the list on multiple game info/reviews apps and this one seemed to be the best one do to the fact of 1) reading the other reviews people wrote on it and 2) it was FREE. Have had no issues with it like pop-ups or spam and it gives me top notch reviews on current games that already out and up coming games that will be coming out. No complaints really. I usually hit his app before I go out and buy any game especially for games I have no clue about and never played before and just trying to try something new. I recommend this app to any gamer.
