My new favorite. I really enjoy this app. It has awesome effects and I become an instant artist in no time. I love the paint options and I like how versatile it is. Highly recommend it!

Extremely confused. Confused as to how a normal image cannot fit or be cropped to fit on an iPhone? This app would be brilliant if it could fit the normal sized photos I want to edit

A very interesting tool. I'm always trying to introduce new software into my workflow that, dramatically improves speed and unique rendering possibilities. So far this fits the bill. I would like to see a layers option introduced into later versions.

The future of paint. This is just one of the amazing apps and "experiments" by this amazing developer. Easy intuitive and mind blowing effects. Worth ten bucks much less one

Odd. I have the pro desktop version and use it semi professionally. The controls are difficult but it is best in class. This is odd on the iPhone and the options are extremely limited. Beware, there is a unremovable ad for the desktop version.

UPDATE PLEASE FOR IOS 11—EDIT AFTER UPDATE. I love this app, I draw on it almost everyday. The app WILL NOT run or even open until you upgrade it to work with IOS 11. PLEASE update very soon!!! Thank you!! EDIT-01/19/2017 Thank you for updating to work with iOS 11, however there is a glitch or bug, the undo arrow does not work & nor does the button to save, share, import, export, and background color selection. Please fix this ASAP, I have really missed this app and it’s so close to being available again!! Also I had already paid for the full version, but I can’t find a purchase restore option. Please help with that as well!!Thank you!! EDIT 01/26/18 THANK YOU again for fixing the issues listed on my last edit!! I’m so happy to have the Flame Painter back again!!!

Looks good. What’s going on the controls are all close together it was ok yesterday . Now that I want to purchase it I’m having second thoughts . I guess there’s zero answer .

Full version bugs. Have always loved this little app. Last year I would have given it a 4 star. I brought the full version. Every since the upgrade to 11 iOS the App won’t save any creations to my photo library and if I send to my text there are watermarks (even after purchasing the full version). I miss making fun colorful creation that I could save or didn’t have watermarks (sigh).

Flamepainter is super fun and easy to use. I am a horrible artist with pencil and paper, but with flamepainter my artistic visions come to life actually looking good! I rated it four stars instead of five because there is no full version to purchase even though to use the gradient it says purchase full version or trial for 30 minutes.

Love this app. I find this to be a wonderful app to use for some really fun effects. Love that you can create your own brushes and am finding particle brushes to be fascinating. Great app.

Total boss app. You know those people who just can't draw well this app lets you paint with fire even if you can draw you will still enjoy this app

Fun and interesting drawing app! Please add force touch and Apple pencil sport. You can start right away to make interesting pictures, and you will learn to control it in time. It's more simple than the computer version, but impressive that it's running on the phone! It will would be great to have a more average brush easily accessible, for when you're drawing something specific

Very cool app!!. This app is awesome, but does take a little getting used too. Wish it came with a some more "how to" tips. Other than that it's a great way to create your very own , one of kind works of art!

Very cool App! Very little but.... Very cool effects and fun. I would like to see higher resolution exports in future updates. The app creates images that really deserve higher resolutions. All the current devices are capable of doing this. We just have to let the developers know that we want to see this change.

Cool graphics. It’s absolutely beautiful, but a little upset I could load pictures into the trial version that it won’t let me open in the full version. It just crashes out of the app.

Save your money. Looks like it could be fun. But. Menus freeze. Tabs to switch brushes, etc. don’t work. Other paint apps are easier to use.

Flame painting. In flame painter, the computer version can be awkward, because no one is good at drawing with a computer mouse, but the mobile version of flame painter, oh my! It takes anything you do, even a line, look like a work of art!!! Priceless! And it's fun on the run! ~Cottoncloud13

Love this App. The only thing I would change is the ability to bring in photos or art and use layers to add some more depth.

Best editing photo app I've ever had!. This app is really simple & easy to use. Most apps to get satisfaction you need to upgrade to pro- this one you don't! It's just an amazing apps & I hope to see more apps like this in the near future!!

Great fun!. Initially, I’d given this app a bad review because I thought it wasn’t responding well. After a few days of continued use, I realized how it works. I can switch brushes with ease and can navigate my way around the interface without issues. This is a great app for releasing your creativity. 👍

Flame Painter for iphone. A correction to my previous review: Apologies-there is indeed an import option from photos. I am wondering if, on the 6 and 6 plus the application has/will expand to include those options reserved for the ipad? Thanks to the creators of this finely crafted tool! Previous: Inspired application using a complex toolset that is easy to understand and manipulate. It would be brilliant if, at the least, an import option would be added. So many of us create on-the-go, with our easels in our pockets.

Not good for iPhone 14 plus. Interface is too large for the screen. The menu bars son't show fully and does not work in portrait mode.
