Just love this app. We just love this app and several of its super cute and educational videos. My daughter just loves Earth to Luna. We have even got our cousins hooked on Hopsters. I also love their weekly emails let us know what shows our daughter is loving this week.

Progressive social and political issues??? NO THANK YOU.. I thought this was such an adorable app. Loved all of the different content and that some of my kids’ favorites were in one place. Then I saw the Black Lives Matter and Love is Love songs and immediately deleted the app. This content is inappropriate for children, period. These topics are too mature for little eyes and ears who cannot yet understand these issues. You are clearly pushing a liberal agenda. Where is Jesus Loves Me or wholesome content like that?

Love is Love. Got this to say thank you for adding LGBT+ things to this app. You may get a lot of hate from it and for that I apologize, but people don’t enjoy change, sadly. They complain that kids are too young to be taught about different relationships other than straight. Which if that’s true then kids shouldn’t be exposed to any type relationships at all. Teaching kids about other identities and such will teach them that it’s okay to be different, that change is normal, and to overall be more accepting, kind people. I’ve been bi since 3rd grade or earlier (I had crushes on both girls and boys ) and am proud to be me. I feel bad for all children who are in bi/trans/homophobic environments as they’ll either grow up to regurgitate they’re parents teachings and hurt others and they’re future or never feeling like they can be themselves which can result in an untimely end (LGBT+ communities have a high rate when it comes to mental illnesses and suicide) Please keep spreading love and not hate, thank you.

Uh…. Kids this age don’t have the capacity to understand what sex is let alone the nuances of sexual proclivities. This is what pedophiles do and it’s called grooming. This completely ignores developmental milestones.. for example, a 2yr old doesn’t understand the simple concept of sharing toys or object permanence .. Teaching them to have empathy for two dudes who want to have sex accomplishes what? (Other than earning brownie points from pedophiles) Stick to kindergarten stuff like counting and colors. Disgusting.

Great for far left content and no education. If your goal is to indoctrinate your kid with far left ideas and keep them uneducated in functional studies then this app is great. We all know preschool kids should be exposed to LGBTQ agenda first and foremost instead of basic life skills. Why wait until they are older and can fully understand this topic when we can shove it right into their face when they still eating their boogers and learning the alphabet.

Not what it used to be. Hopster had great content like Earth yo Luna, Baby Riki, Marvelous Makes, and Louie Draw Me a Picture that suddenly where dropped without notice. I don’t mind businesses loosing rights to some content but it would be more than polite to notify the users about these changes. Farewell, Hopster; It was great while it lasted.

Lifesaver. I hesitated to pay the subscription price when there seemed to be free options, but you truly get what you pay for. My daughter has learned a lot from the different video themes, as well as benefiting from them being short with a recognizable concluding remark. That way, she doesn’t usually end up watching endless videos, and alternates between drawing, reading and growing plants during her time on the app. I prefer this over watching hundreds of unboxing vids on that other site. I love that the app sends reports about what she’s watching, and I usually know because the videos prompt her to ask me important questions from geography to social situations. I appreciate the racial diversity, and representation of different types of families as well as highlighting characters with disabilities.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. This app does not work. I’ve been trapped in their system for 3 payments or more, emailed with no traction, and an app that doesn’t work on any device. Website doesn’t even display way to cancel under manage subscription. That combined with unanswered emails means an endless loop of them swindling you. Stay far away from this app. Such a shame, too.

Inclusive and Educational. I legit just got this for my 19 month old, because I want to make sure she grows up kind and empathetic. She’s already ridiculously smart for her age with reading books! I noticed some of the hate you got for Pride Month and that was the final nail in the coffin to me purchasing this. I’m so happy that an app is so effortlessly inclusive and teaching that there’s no wrong way to love. No one should be shamed by who they love, if it’s not hurting anyone. So thank you, Hopster. You’re doing the Lord’s work.

Doesn’t work on AppleTV. Wasted 20 minutes installing in Apple TV only for it to continue to say I don’t have a subscription even though I do. It also wouldn’t load the content and defaulted to a loud announcer voice that was very annoying. If it doesn’t work on AppleTV then take it out of the AppleTV App Store.

Love the content hate the apps.. I really like all the content but the apps intergartion between apple tv and iphone app are terrible, because it doesn’t give you a login, and just pulls from your itunes. If you’re apple tv is not under your email it’s basically impossible to get logged it seems and their website is just giving me constant errors.

Games will not open.. I pay for premium but several games will not open after downloading. The music and sound effects will play but the actual game does not open. I gave this a one star in hopes that it will draw the developers attention to fix this bug. Ps, I have deleted the app and reinstalled but still they will not open.

Service is great, app could be improved. While the service itself is awesome, the Apple TV app is missing key features: there is no way to pause videos or restart. That’s the absolute minimum I’d expect from a video playing app.

Definitely easier to use. I mean like having a three-year-old is hard by Hopster like it’s so fun my daughter cannot stop playing itLike if I was going to have another children this is the game I would get for them

Worth the subscription - truly educational. We subscribe to this since over a year and it is one of the best apps out there. Our daughter turned 6yrs and still finds a lot if fun new content to entertain in an educational way. Well done Hopster creators!

Inclusive to everyone. I praise the developers for being inclusive, and especially for their replies to homophobic people. This alone made me want to download the app because i know my daughter will grow up and see lgbtq+ as a normal thing. Thank you guys for representing people who need it most.

Great app!. Very happy with the app. Really high quality children’s shows and games for learning. Our 2yo and 3.5yo love it and can navigate with ease.

A big no now. This app is pushing pride. Not something I want to expose a 3year old too. These topics aren’t meant for young minds and are too mature to be introducing to toddlers. Used to love this app but I don’t appreciate the agenda of teaching children “pride” and showing rainbow flags when they don’t understand the deeper levels of it. Deleting.

3 Year Old Loves It. As a mom, I always wanted my daughter that is 3 to be a smart and healthy girl. She needed an app to unleash her imagination. Of course, I also teach her things that she has to know in life. Then, we found Hopster. She was using Hopster for about a year and it really impressed me. She was learning Piano and things that are helpful in School, and literature. This app is an awesome learning app and I hope that my next child enjoys it too! Thanks a lot, Hopster!

Grandma. Keeping an extremely active four year old grandchild when you are over seventy can be quite a challenge. He loves HOPSTER and the programs are very good. We watch it together as we take a much needed break, several times a day.

Force feed your toddlers leftist propaganda. How unfortunate that an app marketed to toddlers and young kids decides to force far-left propaganda on your kids. There’s a time and place for sexuality and this is most definitely not it. Not only that, they have a section for far-left domestic terrorist group BLM. Have some decency and let kids be kids instead of funneling dangerous and extremist far-left propaganda onto young, impressionable minds.

App not working right. This app was good and I liked the content but now it takes so long for it to load that my child and myself just don’t want to deal with it any more. Also it used to be $4.99 now it’s $6.99 for subscription. Since I can’t load it I’m just gonna Cancel my subscription.

Pagan holidays. Due to my heritage and culture we don’t celebrate and despise Pagan holidays but this app and many others don’t give us the option not to teach our children to celebrate wickedness (Halloween etc) it would be nice if it had this type of option. A option to not push religion and worldly traditions in our children’s faces with the celebrating of sick holidays which all have very dark and evil origins. Respectfully honest, thanks

Better than FreeTime. I love that this is limited and curated. With FreeTime I had to go in weekly and delete all of the new junk videos and apps that would get downloaded. On this I don’t have to keep monitoring. I know it’s all good for my kiddos development.

This one is a keeper. My 4yr old asks me to download new apps nearly everyday. With that, we sign up for a lot of trials or I pay for a month and immediately unsubscribe because I know she will never play it again. With Hopster, I have to renew it every single month because she comes running when she’s see’s the content is restricted/expired. After 6x of buying and unsubscribing, I realize this is a game she keeps going back to. It has become a mandatory game on her iPad. My favorite part is the e-mail updates I get with what she does inside the game!

We love hopster! But... We love hopster but we wish there was more offline options. We travel a lot. Other then that we love this app. It’s easy to use, fun, colorful and very entertaining for my daughter!

Safe space. I like the convenience of having a safe space for my 3.5 year old to explore on her iPad while I am needing to step away. It’s very comforting, especially knowing I get updates via email about her most viewed content, how long she was active, and more!

Pride month 😐. I loved this app, kid friendly safe content! Until pride month. If there was a way to opt out of that content that was pushed front and center I would keep using your app. Our families beliefs don’t line up with that being front and center in front of my young sons eyes. I believe people have the right to marry whoever they want, but I should have a choice in what my kids see and hear. So I will no longer use this app, I feel like you brought politics into what use to be a safe area.

Great App!. This is a wonderful app, full of fun programs for kids. My grandson, who is 3 now has been watching Hopster since he was 1. It’s full of programs that you can’t get anywhere else and you can download to devices so it can be watched without WiFi.

Educational win!. This app has given us such a diverse educational advantage! From the cute stories, to the shows, we love all of the interactive activities! It’s a really well rounded app for kids. My 4.5 year old loves it!

Amazing App. I’ve been letting my little guy use this app for over a year - when he started using it, he was 4 (almost 5) and it was amazing for learning technology and watching shows about positive character traits, science, math, and literature. Now that he is 6 and a half, he is still engaged with new shows and activities about diversity, compassion, and positive self identity and self worth. He has old favorites and loves to see what’s new. He’s now using alphabet hotel for phonics and phonemic awareness and enjoys everything science and nature that is interwoven. I can see him using this app for at least another year and a half, maybe more.

Daughter loves Hopster. We had an issue with the things being locked but I just had to signed into the app again so keep that in mind but my daughter loves all the videos and content.

Pretty good. Love the no ads and learning portion of the app but don’t think LGBT needs to be shoved down my 4 year olds throat. I need to watch a littler closer when she’s on this app because when she should be innocently learning she’s instead asking questions that her little mind isn’t yet ready for.

This app gives kids opportunities to learn about multiple things and things that are Kind of difficult to take care of on your own and do you by yourself so letting them Learn by app to help them understand easier instead of doing it by yourself or your own And Not be able to describe The Way you say it to a four year old child. This app also helps children read hard things like good night and other things. Four Year olds and three year olds can’t read easily so this app also helps them read and learn how to say things. This way the app teaches things helps kids so much. I really appreciate the way this app was created and how you could help.

love is love🥰. happy pride month ! love the pride section! I am so happy that an app for children is finding ways to include ALL families, not just families with one mother and one father. It took a look of courage to do that and it was executed beautifully. My daughter loves this. My daughter loves this app! She loves to play games on it and learn how to do things and loves watching the TV shows on it. It took a minute for her to get it but 2-3 she had it down and knew more then I did with it. She definitely learned on this app and had lots of fun with it. Love this App.. I got this for my 21 month old nephew and this is the only app besides PBS Kids, that keeps him entertained for long periods of time. I love the diversity in it and how catchy the songs that are provided! He tries to sing along and that brings me so much happiness! Only issue I have is that sometimes it freezes more often and even though I download stuff, it takes a while to load which isn’t bad for me, but for my nephew who’s still grasping patience, he struggles a little with that 🥺💞

Videos don’t work. I LOVED this app until this past month. The videos don’t play at all and it’s frustrating because that’s the main thing my kids love to do with it. Also, the photo booth has never worked for me, but I didn’t mind because everything else did and my kids didn’t seem to mind. I’ve tried uninstalling and installing the app, but it doesn’t change anything. I tried searching for an update, but couldn’t find one. I just canceled my subscription and am going to search for a different one because it’s of no use to me anymore. Wish I would’ve canceled before I paid for the next 3 months. 😒

Propaganda. Thought this would be an appropriate app for my 3 year old as it promotes education. NOPE. Once you open the app (on Apple TV) you see the propaganda that the Left is forcing us to become normalized. Stop exposing children to sexuality, just stop. There’s also some other BLM category, which probably is teaching CRT. I’m Hispanic from a divorced household growing up and pretty much had everything against me, but I did not allow that to stop me from achieving my dreams. Why? This is America, the land of the FREE, where YOU decide what you make of your life. Stop playing the victim card. Don’t waste your time with this app unless you’re a leftie.

Episodes are out of order.. They present Numberblocks and Alphabots in a completely random order so you can’t actually build on lessons from episode to episode. No idea why the app is designed like this. The developers are either deranged or have never watched a single show on their service.

Amazing. My toddler loves this app. It is teaching him French and his numbers and a whole lot more. It’s not just mindless entertainment. It’s learning but fun... install it, you won’t regret it

One happy mom. My son has severe autism and this app is definitely worth the money, he’s learned so much and I couldn’t be happier.

Review. Wasn’t using the app for a couple months since my grandson enjoys Kids You Tube but I will definitely get him back on this to check out new shows and books .

Amazing App. This is probably the best kid app I’ve used in a while. For my son it is very easy to navigate. And he Loves the Black History song. I would say he uses this app 4 times per week and I don’t have to worry about the content or him Leaving the app.

Parents are capable of teaching their children about sex and sexual orientation without apps sneaking their ideology into our homes. Unable to remove or exclude content in library. My child kept receiving suggested content that the child was not developmentally ready to receive. I contacted Hopster to see how to remove it, but was told that’s not an option. As a parent, I find it dangerous for my child to be suggested content by an app... especially without the option to remove content. We cancelled our subscription.

Hopster supporting gay pride month. I have just cancelled my subscription. Hopster has no right to indoctrinate and educate children about homosexuality. This will apparently be taking effect from 14th June 2019 with songs such as “love is love”. I am extremely disappointed that this is now what hopster represents and promotes, rather than being an educational App.

There is much to love. My girls enjoy this app. I love the new literacy features. Thank you for emailing a parents guide, that encouraged me to check out the app and play a bit. My only disappointment is that I cannot control a handful of questionable content that I prefer my small children not be exposed to. Content that I was alerted to, because it would pop up randomly. I exit out of painting and there’s a show pop up. 🤨 And I am not the helicopter type to be over my kids shoulders every minute to catch these pop ups, so unfortunately without content restriction capabilities I will have to cancel my subscription.

Great app for kids and parents piece of mind!. This app is awesome, we are very choosy with kids shows and screen time etc but everything on hopster is ‘safe’ fun and educational. I love the email report each month, great service! I use it mainly to keep our 3 year old busy whilst I’m settling the baby for a nap. The art maker is lots of fun and I’ve been known to spend a few minutes on it myself 😂 the only thing is it crashes when you try to save the picture. Please fix this, then this app will be 5** 😊

Great but app keeps crashing this month!. Fabulous app ad free and great for little kids. App keeps crashing on the iPhone every time I open it and regardless if I reset phone etc. please fix ASAP as I have paid subscription and I’m wasting it if the app doesn’t work!

Ok. The app is ok, but hasn’t changed at all since joining. There’s nothing new on the front page been the same shows for over a year. Not sure what the subscription pays for as games are the same so worth trying for about six months but there is better out there.

Disappointed. I was happy with the trail however, feel that you should not have to pay for offline - it should be part of the free app 😥 a lot of people can not afford to keep playing online....if the offline becomes part of the free down load & trial then I will down load it again.

Charged for Free Trial. I signed up for a free preview and was subscribed to this app immediately, I understand you have to pay regularly after the free trial but charging straight away is not ok- what if I choose not to continue the subscription?!

Not as advertised. Shows that are included in the setup are not in app. Beyond frustrating.

Good except.... I have to keep deleting the app and reloading it when it gets stuck, it also then doesn’t recognise I have paid the month subscription. The programs in it are fantastic. But I’m getting a bit frustrated wasting my time fixing it.

Kid loves it, plenty to watch. Interface is well designed and Hunter (who is 3) enjoys the games. Plenty of shows that I used to watch on ABC in Australia, great to introduce them to my boy. Subscription price is pretty good for what is basically Netflix for kids, plus offline viewing. Can't go wrong

Hopster. I purchased the full yearly subscription after I tried it with my children and My kids love this app. it’s so easy to use and very interactive. Wonderfull graphics and educational. I found this app by accident. I will recommend it to anyone with young children, lots of fun stuff and it’s always updating with new features

Excellent App. Such a great alternative to YouTube kids. My four year old loves all of the content and it is well worth the cost of subscription.

Refund pls and cancel billing.. I have emailed 3times no response. Please cancel my subscription and refund charges on my account. Two years ago I had to deal with this same issue. I am being charged again. Awaiting my refund and I will subscribe when I want to. Update: I sent messages still no responses to my emails. I have been charged again. Update. No support with helping me address the charges to my account. I have lost money to this app. Today May 14th I have been charged again. I called apple but they cant see any active subscription. This is so wrong. Do not subscribe in the first place!!!! Hello Hopster. May 16 2022 . There is a subscription notification for which I do not have that will renew tomorrow May 17 2022. In other words I will be charged again. I have emailed you lots of times. I have gotten no refund and I am still be billed. Kindly stop saying I should contact you because I have. I have email trails. Do the needful and stop billing me.

Apple TV age verification errors. Ok on iPhone but when verifying on AppleTV error occurs and won't allow access to an already subscribed app.

Kids love it. All 4 kids love this app, the games, the shows, the seasonal holiday themes. Great app with monthly subscription.

Good. Good educational

good content, frustrating app. I’m on the 7-day trial and will not renew. There’s interesting content here, but the Apple TV app doesn’t use the standard media controls. You can’t pause, jump forward or back, or control playback with Siri. They literally disabled a button on the primary device interface—in this case the remote. It’s frustrating and remarkably disrespectful to the user.

No family subscription? Got to be kidding!. At 6.99$/month and no family sharing, you must be kidding. Each kid has to have their own iPad and subscription? Too greedy. No way.

Quality Screen Time for your kid. The parental reports are key for me to follow what my child is watching. I can follow up with their interesfs

Bad customer service. I have subscribed and yet books are missing from the app. I have emailed them many many times but without a single response!

Needs to update. Needs to update content more frequently. At half the price of Netflix, you don’t have lots of content and new content comes in at a snails pace.

Mon favoris. C’est officiellement mon application favorite. Le Contenu est parfaitement adapté selon l’âge de votre enfant. Les jeux éducatifs sont vraiment parfaits! Il y a même une section avec des émissions éducatives et même des tutoriels de bricolages. Il s’utilise facilement sans internet ce qui est un plus. Seul déception c’est qu’on ne peut pas contrôler le temps à écouter des émissions. J’aimerais vraiment pouvoir avoir ces options afin que mon tout petit passe un temps d’écran à faire des jeux éducatifs plutôt que de sauter directement au émissions quand on lui accorde un temps d’écran.

Was good, but clearly the other reviews are correct. My daughter loved this app and used it fairly often. For the last two weeks, we open the app to basically all content being gone even though we have a subscription and had renewed it. Now today we tried to sign back in and it tells us we have no account and to resubscribe, I just paid the annual fee.

I got charged twice.. I renewed my subscription and got charged for it twice. I already filed a report for a refund with one of them but was worried that it might cancel the other of my subscription with you. There was no place I could leave the details of the issue. Please let me know if I need to do more to fix it.

Great again.. Okay so this app did have complications on closing once the intro was done. However it seems to have been fixed. Really great app for kids.

Terrific app for kids. This app,has provided hours of entertainment for my granddaughters, 7 and 4 years of age. Always seems something new going on. It appears well managed! Good value for the money.

Great content!. I absolutely love the curated playlists, I often find myself watching along with the little ones! The app is so user friendly and promotes such great content all-around.

My kids love it!. We have the yearly subscription and my kids love it! I get the monthly report of how much and what they watched. They are learning new stuff and love the painting section. Rita and crocodile and the banana bread song is their favourite by far.

For free. Exceeded my expectations! I refuse to pay for app anything. The FREE version is generous and the content has engaged my 3 yo son. I like it very much and have recommended to a friend for her daughter.

Hoppster. App that is full of exciting and interactive activities. It includes art, reading, music, and photography. Great for young children and adults together.

Child Grooming App, Not Education 😡. It’s a child grooming app filled with LGBT propaganda and other miscellaneous sexual themes. Apple, take this off the app store. This is highly in appropriate for young children.

Brainwashing. Stop brainwashing our kids! Let them get to the point that they can an intelligent and informed decision of their own volition.

Great for kids and parents. They send monthly emails about what my child is doing on the app

Good but could be better. For the most part it’s a good app. The biggest issue I have is the lack of parental control over area and content access.

User beware: hidden agenda. Install this app if you want your child to learn a one-sided and unwarranted view of homosexuality. No warning/disclaimer given to parents that this app openly teaches sexual ethics/values. This is unpleasantly deceptive. Canceled and uninstalled immediately.

SHAME. This is SHAME. They were talking about “pride” and I almost got in trouble! Don’t buy when *pride month!!! (*When I’m talking pride I mean LGBT and I don’t like it!) I would rather recommend lingokids it’s way safer.

Teaches kids homosexuality. If you want your child’s brain to be assaulted with homosexuality then download. If you’d like your child to one day have children (that share their parents DNA, both of them!) of their own avoid exposing them to filth like this.

Where is the FREE part?. Do not sign up for this app unless you know you already know what this is like and want to spend the money. There is NOTHING for free. You get signed up for a subscription (other reviewers state they had difficulty canceling).

Unable to access account in app. Just got this, decided I didn’t want it, but the only thing that responds in Settings is Messages not clear how to cancel - or if I can cancel!

Can’t access the 7 day free trial. This app doesn’t seem to be working. After entering my birth year when I tried getting a free trial, it says “In-app purchases are not allowed,” yet I have not turned off in-app purchases.

A BLM song… you have got to be kidding me!. These are pre toddlers and get they have BLM songs and talk about sexuality to kids that are just trying to learn their ABC’s. Our next generation is doomed.

Too scary. My wild 2 year old who isn’t afraid of nearly anything? He skis, hikes, swims BUT was afraid of the shapes game, it startled me when the mister just started screaming too lol too scary for us

2 moms & 2 dads. Don’t tell my kids about having 2 moms or 2 dads. That is completely unacceptable for a 4 yr olds mind. We are a Christian family who in no way shape or form feel that talking about this with a toddler is uncalled for.

Clean, educational and sweet. You can trust Hopster shows. My son loves it. We got rid of Netflix and only let him watch Hopster and PBS kids. He’s 5.

Wrongfully charged 3 days into free 1 month trial. Downloaded this app for my daughter and signed up for the free 30 day subscription. 3 days after downloading and I’ve already had a $7.99 charge show up on my iTunes under Hopster. Don’t download this & fall into the trap.
