An outstanding app. I was searching for an app that would support my daily involvement in Bible reading and mass and this is it. It loaded easily on my iPhone, launches fast so now first thing in the morning I can quickly go to the daily mass readings and start my day off with the support of my faith. Now when I wake after saying my personal prayers for my family I open the app and read the daily mass readings and finish my prayers. It’s had such a positive impact on how I approach the challenges of work and family.

Great when it works. This would be a great app if it worked properly. I love the readings and most of the pictures, but too often the readings don’t load properly. It’s very frustrating. The first reading might be there, but then it’ll go to the gospel and nothing will come up. And it does this for several days or weeks. Cannot figure out why it does this! I like this app best, but it’s worthless without the readings. 😕

A Lectors Assistant. As a lector I find this app very helpful for practicing the readings and Responsorial Psalm verses...the only ‘complaint’ I have is that although the Psalm verses are there, the actual Responsorial Psalm to be ‘responded’ by the congregation is NOT there...so it’s a bit incomplete for me as a lector. May this could be added(?) 😁 however, the photos, presentation and reflections make this app a Free and enriching and VERY handy Gift😇 to ANY recipient!

Perfect Daily Reading App. I used to use the USCCB site but got tired of all the ads on the site. This app is just the readings making it better to focus. I love the simplicity The audio is a little weird as is computer generated-would be much better to have a real person for those times that I like to listen to the readings.

Abandoned. In the last 2 years this once inspiring app has fallen apart from inattention. The commentaries were refreshing and authoritative, drawn from the Ancient Fathers as well as those of the centuries following. Tap on the commentaries button now and more than likely there is a blank page with a note about lack of a server connection. This was the case even during Pascal weekend! It’s a shame that a good source like this was is now stumbling and so carelessly mismanaged as to be near useless.

Part of my daily morning routine. Have been using for years. Fantastic way to get the day started before the craziness starts AND before checking any messages …etc I like to read the Living Faith booklet afterwards as it ties it all in.

Easy to use. The readings are readily available, comments are concise and to the point. It is a great app to keep up with daily Mass readings whenever you want and also gain insight to their meaning though the commentary. Well developed app, I use it all the time and recommend to others.

love this app but missing the actual response for the responsorial. The images are beautiful and the app is concisely and efficiently arranged and very reliable. My only hope would be to add the actual response in the Responsorial Psalm. i.e for Oct 11, “ R. The hand of the Lord feeds us; he answers all our needs.”

Grateful. I love this app. It is the first thing I read in my morning meditations. It encourages me and calms me. I love that I’m reading through the Bible by using this app. I love the clean and simple presentation. The only one feature I wish it had was the ability to forward a reading by text to another person to encourage them.

Trying to be a better person. It's hard to carry a bible with me and even harder to read at home with all the things that I need to do with the family. Even though this should be at the top of the list. This app has helped me a lot to become a better person all around. I try to read it daily and out to practice what the gospel dictates. Simply perfect. The app does have a few glitches here and there but overall it’s perfect. Just the daily readings with brief commentary from various Saints, priests and popes. Even on days where I attend mass the app allows me to read it over again to really let God’s word speak to me.

My new daily routine. Since I found this site and began reading the Bible verses every day, I have become stronger in the faith. My resolve to reject sin and evil thoughts has also gotten stronger, and I am very grateful that the Lord led me to it. Following the readings daily instead of once a week when I am at Mass makes them more understandable and meaningful. Although I read the whole Bible a long time ago, I am going to reread Acts in full because the continuity of the daily readings makes me want to hear all of it.

My daily bible reading became easy. My priest says read & meditate on scripture daily but sometimes opening the Bible or carrying it with you is difficult. This allows me to easily read the scriptures. The comments help me see or understand a reading from another or additional view. We all have our intimate way of hearing His word.

A beautiful instrument of faith. During this Lenten season, I wanted to adopt a practice that would fundamentally draw me closer to the Lord. I am so thankful to have found this app because it brings the blessing of the liturgy into my palms every single day. What a special gift! I am deeply grateful to have my faith guided by your works. Problem needs fixing!. I LOVE this app - I have used it DAILY for YEARS. However the last couple weeks there has been something wrong where each of the readings is cut off before the end - usually just a phrase or two is missing. I know because I have to then open up another window and search for the daily readings from another source so I can get the ends of each reading. I have sent an email about this already. Once this is fixed I’ll go back to my 5 star rating.

Love this app. I just love this app. Not only did it provide the daily Mass readings, but it provides a wonderful commentary. What I REALLY love is the commentary. These are written by saints and Church fathers. I often find their insights to be so illuminating, thought provoking, incisive. I usually have something worthy to ponder each day. There is also something very powerful about seeing that sermons written almost 2 thousand years ago share many of the struggles we have today. Now this marvel exists in the Bible, but is perhaps not as shocking because the Bible is inspired word from an eternal God. But it is very moving to feel such a connection to Saints and believers so many years ago. It is wonderful to not just know the names and sometimes life stories of certain saints, but to actually read their words and feel the power in them.

Love the app!. Really enjoying this app! Very straightforward and user friendly. The writing excerpts from the saints are a wonderful addition. Having this on my phone keeps my day faith focused as just seeing the icon serves as a reminder of what I read each day. Thank you for such a valuable resource!

Love the daily readings!!. I found this app recently & so far it’s great! I got into daily readings this year & I like the pictures of different churches/cathedrals. I used another app which stopped working. The readings were showing up, so I’m glad I found this one.

A plus for my day. I appreciate having this app on my phone. As a returned to our Catholic faith member of the Church I now have access to the daily readings. This morning I went to Mass and enjoyed being able to read along as the lector read today’s readings and afterward I read the commentary on the Gospel which clearly explained what Jesus was attempting to do. Also I like to read about the saint of the day.

So Grateful for this App. I love this app! It has given me a new daily routine for prayer while providing many options that let me focus on what I need most each day. I particularly love the many opportunities to pray and contemplate with Jonathan Roumie. The app is easy to use and a great value for the price.

Daily Practice. I am trying to start my day with a morning offering. This app helps me listen to God’s word. Because they are mass readings, with daily practice you read through a gospel and whichever book the first reading is taken from. You can also see how the psalm responds to the first reading. Convenient to have as an app.

What day is it. Don’t necessarily use app daily but your updates are ridiculous! It’s Monday, August 24,2020 and I can’t get past Saturday, August 22, 2020. Keep getting message try again later. This is not the first time this has happened and don’t seem to be able to contact anyone other than write a review.....really. Oh, and more laughable, every nickname I try is taken!!

Brings me peace. I find this app brings me to peace especially when this world is going crazy. It helps me stay connected with God when everything is locked down including our churches.

Just right. Trying to read scripture daily. Can never find or remember to bring my bible or a book with the readings. The internet alone is a distracting place-- go to find readings but leave without any. The app goes with me on my phone but has reading alone. Now I have what I need to pray without the distractions that prey. Graphics are a bit underwhelming for a spoiled millennial like me, but not enough to have me look somewhere else for the daily readings. Excellent app. Use it almost daily. The comments and liturgical calendar or feasts/memorials are a bonus.

Good when it works. This is a good app for following the Masses’’ Readings and Gospel but unfortunately it does not work as it should. Most times for me at least on an iPhone First reading usually there but no Second reading or gospel. Very discouraging.

Very good. I am very busy since I care for my husband who is sick. This app is fantastic because I can carry it with me every where I go. I just started using it but I already know that it is going to be very helpful. I try to read the readings of the day every day, this helps me to keep it with every where I go and if I have a free moment I feel that I am not wasting time and doing good.

Helpful. I am visually impaired and churches are dark and missals are printed too small with the lines too close together for me to be able to read along at mass. I use this app on my phone to be able to read along with the readings. I would love you to create apps with the whole mass and a hymnal so I can sing along at mass.

Handy app allows for daily reflection. Convenient access to daily readings allows you to reflect. I particularly like being able to review the scripture across a number of days. This app is like a pocket missal, though on rare occasion I have noticed that a reading did not coincide with one from my parish's missal.

Impressed. Today was the first time I used this app and I'm really impressed. I found this app upon looking for reading to follow along while watching live mass at home, due to recovering. So this really helped me to read and not feel like I was missing out on mass. It's a really easy app to use. Two clicks and youre on to reading the readings for the day. Thanks for the great app!

Enriching. I find this app so enriching and inspirational as it offers you the Church’s daily scriptural readings along with the reflections of Holy people throughout the ages. The reflection and commentaries are from people the Church has recognized through the ages as being worthy of being exemplified as they put the Word in action in their daily lives. On occasion the reflection may not speak to me but the app also offers the Church’s saint of the day. Take time to Google the Saints Name and you will find additional enriching and inspirational reading. All this reading can be accomplished within 15 minutes. If you take the time and give these passages your full attention It can become life changing as Jesus Christ comes into the forefront of your life and is no longer left in the background. Just like the Saints through the ages Jesus Christ becomes someone you begin to know rather than just read about. This app is a fine tool in helping you to become a better person who is a little more at peace, a little more present to the ones you love and more patient with the crazy things in life that can really get you worked up if you don’t have a focus on what is really important. This app is amazing !. I love this app it is so helpful and easy to use. It says just what I need each day. I have had it for only one day but I already love it and would look to share with my family and friends. This app was truly a five star. Jesus was present.

Readings. My husband and I love this app. We enjoy the explanation after the gospel reading. It keeps us focused on our faith and is a daily connection we feel with each other in our faith. My husband is a convert to the Catholic Faith and truly enjoys learning more through these readings.

App. This app has brought a lot of family’s together. I think this app can have some kid friendly games because my daughter loves to read me these passages but she always like to play games that teach her about God. I think this app will teach people more about God, Mary and Jesus with some creative thinking with this my husband says that this app is good but not great because of the adds I will like to have no adds on the games or the app. I would like to learn about the Bible more. It’s very good but I have a wish list. It’s so nourishing to read the daily readings and I often benefit from the commentaries too. I find the type size easy to read so this is my go-to app BUT I wish it added a few details: 1. What day are the readings from? Tuesday of the tenth week in ordinary time or perhaps the feast day of St. so-and-so? 2. What is the psalm response? That’s an important part of the psalm reading! 3. Those two are most important - this one is not but it would be wonderful to know where the beautiful churches are that are pictured. I find those pictures fascinating and uplifting.

During Quarantine. The Daily Readings App is the best app for the daily readings. I have tried others (two others) and they were not as easy to read and they weren’t as organized. In this time of complete upheaval of our lives l, it is comforting to me to go to Daily Readings and hear the word of the Lord.

Simple and to the point. Exactly what I was looking for. Only two clicks and I'm in the daily reading. Plain text and no other distraction. Will be nice if I can customize it to show today's reading when launch, just to save one more click ;)

Best App for Daily Readings. I've tried multiple sources to find the best daily reading app on my iPad. I like this one the best. The spacing makes it easy to read. The fact that it's on my iPad makes it convenient for me to read whenever I find a quiet moment. Also, the photos are beautiful and glorify God as an addition to the reading. Thanks so much for making such a great app!

Perfect Start to the Day. These readings provide enlightenment available only in the passages of the Bible. They offer a focus point for reflection before I start my day. In the event I fail to read early in the day, they still provide the “lift” I am looking for whenever I take the time to read them.

Daily readings on hand. I always had to search for Sunday Mass readings. This app has given me a way to keep current readings on hand at a moment’s notice. Great supplement to follow up with my kids to ensure their understanding of the readings & to review so I can answer their questions. Also very handy on days we miss church for whatever reason. Not a substitute but very much a valuable resource.

Great App. This app is great to have. The only thing is you cannot go back to the previous day. I wish that there is away that you can do it. Just like in a book, you can turn the page(s) to backwards and forward. Thanks.

Readings with friends. . .. Wonderful App that does many great things. It’s one thing to take the word and it’s another to take it and look deep for meaning for today’s world. With the commentary helping us to understand and the Saints reminding us that our toil is no different than theirs. (Ok maybe an uptick in technology—like an electronic tablet as opposed to a stone tablet) but the times they aren’t a changing and this App reminds us that their has been and always will be ONE struggle and ONE path: seek and ye shall find.

Eyes Opened. This has been my saving grace. I look forward to my morning readings to guide me. My family has been going through many struggles and as I was seeking answers, I happened upon this app. It has brought me closer to God and much comfort. I find answers and wisdom from these daily readings. I’ve always thought myself a good person but I was blind and not aware of the handbook in front of me that would make it so. As we continue to struggle I can whether this stage with dignity as through His word, He is with me every step of the way. I’m taking this difficult journey with God but our side. I’m doing my best to interpret, understand and learn from the life lessons he is teaching me along the way. May this app continue to open my eyes to God’s plan so I can do what he is asking of me. I am forever his servant.

Peaceful and Thankful. Each morning I make every effort to sit quietly to read my daily Catholic Devotion from ‘Living Faith’ and then open my phone app to review my ‘Daily Readings’. When I’m away from wife we read them together over our phones. Even though we’re miles apart these readings, Gods words, bring us together.

Thanks for making this available!. I can prepare for my ministry as a lector anywhere. No book required! The only downside is that when I open the app on my iPhone, I get a message which says, "This app is outdated. Contact the developer to have it be updated."

Agree with all the positive reviews but where is the Second Reading?. I really enjoy this app. I don’t follow it on a daily basis but at times I feel like I am really missing out and it’s there waiting for me to pick right back up. Grateful that God is so forgiving. One issue I have is where is the Second Reading? Am I missing something?

Good but Gospel is missing. I am having a hard time finding the actual Gospel text. The text page only shows the first reading and the psalm. I don’t know if maybe the app is showing only the first page of multiple pages or other issue. I have looked all around the app for the gospels but could not find it. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

At my fingertips. I've always been told that it would be helpful in my faith life to read the daily Mass readings. But in the business of life, I never found the time. Now with this app, the readings are literally at my fingertips. This app makes it so convenient and easy to read them anywhere or anytime. Readings. A fantastic way to start the day with these readings and gospels I am in awe how the readings and gospel written so many years ago relate to today's life.

Love the reflections. Love reflections but since I’m in Australia we’re ahead in the morning the reading & reflection for the day is not yet publish.

A few minutes to ponder on God’s words. I like this app. The readings are helpful especially those days when I cannot hear mass. It is a good practice to at least read the readings for the day first thing in the morning. I recommend this app to anyone who would want to listen to God’s words but who cannot physically go to church to do it. Thank you for this app.

Disappointed. Very disappointing that I can’t see subsequent Mass readings. I downloaded this app to get daily Mass readings and they are not accurate and I can’t move to a reading for the next day. Why?

Robotic voice. Love the app. But it has a robotic voice. There are no pauses, etc. This puts me OFF my time with God, our Father. Please amend or change this voice to a more natural voice like other apps.

Incomplete Readings. I noticed lately text in the Gospels are not complete. Please fix.

Love it when it’s working. But too often it is not working properly and it can be that way for weeks.

Has allowed me to focus.. I am a bit of a disconnected Catholic. For Lent I wanted to commit to getting to Church every day and really listening to the readings and reflecting on them. This app has allowed me to do that from anywhere and anytime of day. I am so glad I found it!

Nice simple to use.. Nice easy to use app. Nice that it will do the readings out loud. However, it’s limited. The buttons could be bigger and clearer to find for visually impaired. Font could also be enlargeable. Nice to see patron saint of the day. Would like to be able to scroll to any day of the year. .

Amazing!. As a 12 year old, I was really in to church and religious things. I found this app while I was randomly looking for daily reading apps or bible study apps and I saw that it had amazing reviews so I tried it out and now I am very happy!

Quick n easy. Love the simplicity of this. So easy to get the daily readings! Would be 5 stars except for the fact that this app does not show the responsorial psalm. It does have the psalms, but not the responsorial. Not sure why. Hopefully they will fix that.

Something is failing. I was so happy to find this, lately it has been having problems,not showing the correct readings for the Sunday Mass the commentary is not loading properly or this morning would not load. I have sent a few emails but don’t get any response.😢

Love this app but…. This is a really good app. However, most of the time I cannot get all of the content. The readings cut off at a certain point. I truly enjoy reading the Comment but most of the time they aren’t visible as well. PLEASE fix this. Thank you!!

Replaces the need for paper. This app allows you to follow along with the readings at daily mass. You don’t need to fumble with a paper copy or create more paper waste. I love reading along and the convenience of the app if I want to review that days’ scripture.

Simple but good. A great app I just found, it’s nice to have feast days. Also, the audio is a nice feature along with pictures of Biblical places.

Great for quiet times!. I'm a Protestant in the process of reconciling to the Catholic Church. This app is fabulous for my daily reading! The Bible. I have used this application for over a year. I lost my only son and he had this app. On his phone. More info?. I do so like having the Mass readings and the commentary. I wondered if it would be feasible to add a little history about the commentators and (if you have this, I don't know where it is) I find myself quite curious about the lovely pictures of the churches and shrines, their names and where they are in the world.

Love it. Easy to use. I use this for daily Mass since there is no other way to read along. Also excellent for reading the daily readings when I can't make it to Mass. Thank you!

A Week’s Worth of Incomplete Entries. Downloaded and deleting on the same day, sadly. The 4.6 rating and top reviews led me to believe the app would offer all of the day’s readings. But no, out of the seven days’ entries only one includes the First, Psalms, and Gospel while the other six days’ end with either the heading for the Psalms or partway through it, or after the First reading. Hope you guys are able to fix it!

Readings wording is incorrect or different. I noticed that some things are missing like the response hymn is not listed. The wording in the readings are different than what is being said in mass. The Magnificat is a very accurate and much fuller version of this type of app. But it does cost a few dollars but it’s worth it to be able to follow along with mass.

Easy to keep up with daily readings. Thanks for a well-designed app that makes it easy to find “today’s” readings. Easy to use, easy to read. Best of all, no crashes, no viruses, no malware!

Sunday?. I like the app. But I don’t understand why you cannot access the Sunday readings anymore late on Saturday. If you are fulfilling your Sunday obligation on Saturday evening, you used to be able to get the readings, but you cannot anymore.

Daily Readings during distant socializing. Discovered this app during Covid-19 stay in place order. The highlight of my day and a great way to daily feel uplifted and part of a community. Recommend this app highly!

This app is great !. It is so useful in ones formation to spiritual enhancement. Whenever I have a free time I can read it I repeat and I read the words again and again whenever I get a moment till the words are in bedded in my heart

Wonderful app. Very useful app. The readings and commentary are clear and easy to appreciate and apply to one’s life. My one query would be to ask why the response to the Resposonsorial psalms aren’t provided.

Daily Bread. This App puts the Bible so easy to access, it's simple to set up in my daily direction setting routine. It's such a privilege and a blessing to read the Word daily, with prayer and reflection as well as search for application and opportunities God provides for sharing. Thank you.

Great way to start the day!. Daily readings easily found in one place. Nice when on the go and didn't have a chance to read any scripture before leaving for work.

Rewarding. I’ve looked for quite some time to find something that way easy to use and still rewarding enough to give me pause to consider the meaning of the Word. I’ve found what I was looking for.

Very helpful (when it works). Poor app execution. Approximately two out of three days what is presented is truncated, that is, it shows the first reading and cuts off at the responsorial Psalm. Excellent app when it works, unfortunately too infrequent that I deleted the app after relying on it for a couple years

Having issues with iPhone 13. The whole daily reading is not loading. It loads about a paragraph or two of the first reading, but then gets stuck. It takes a long time for the rest of the days reading to load.

Daily Ritual. I start each day with the daily readings. I especially enjoy the comment section as it gives me a deeper understanding of the scriptures. The daily comments open my mind to greater wisdom. Great app.

Love this ap. I use it every morning for my daily morning prayer time. Easy to use and i like to be able to go back to the earlier readings and also look ahead. Love it!

Great when it works, but comments fail to load to often. I mostly go to the app to read the comments as a reflection upon the readings. Most of the time the comments do not load which is very frustrating.

Almost there!. I don’t know if it has a dark light or highlighter feature, but that would be awesome. Otherwise it is helpful and easy to use!

Great app. As a busy mom I love this app. I usually always have my phone handy so when I have a few quiet moments I can read God's word whether I am waiting for an appointment, on lunch or a few minutes to spare on the couch!

Exactly what I wanted!. So simple, streamline and easy to use. I was looking for a very simple app that gave me the readings of the day and a short commentary. This is exactly what I wanted. The reflections are fantastic and really speak to me every day. Love this app!

Amazing commentary!. I love this app! It has the daily readings and readings from day’s previous. I can read it then they have a section of comments about the readings that I love.

Connect. By far the most inexcusable way to help me stay grounded and connected to recall without doubt the value of our existence regardless my location or activity!! Stellar idea and great job to promote soul nourishment for all!!

Daily Readings. The computer reads way too fast!! The font is very small and hard to follow for older eyes. The Response is missing. Other than that it is very good. The previous app I was using was very good however it stopped working and has not been updated in 2 years

Readings. This app is wonderful. I am able to easily access daily readings and use them in my faith formation. If I could improve it in anyway, I would provide the specific liturgical cycle of the readings so that users may learn more about their faith.

The BEST. This is the BEST app for daily reading my husband and I use it everyday and especially enjoy the commentary that comes with it. Also we are learning about so many wonderful and courageous and REAL people by looking up and learning the feast day saints. Thank You!

Beautiful pictures. This app helps me remember to read sacred scripture. I especially like that it has the readings from the day's mass. What I would like to see though along with the beautiful pictures is to know what and where they are from

Daily readings. I read the daily Mass readings first thing every morning and really feel that something is missing from my day if I don’t get to. Thank you for this wonderful app!

Audio Feature. Although I do enjoy this app, I used the audio feature one day when I was driving and it is a digital recording. It was very difficult to understand and to be able to get into the readings. I have not used the audio feature again.

Simple with great UI. This app is simple and straightforward. The layout is great. I only have iPhone 5SE so the screen isn’t very large. Some apps interface are simply too small to be comfortable. This app works great.

Great app...but a few changes. This is a fantastic app, it simple and easy to use to get to the daily readings, but if you would add the laity's response to the psalms that occur after the 1st readings, perhaps in bold that would allow people to know the response when using the app during mass. Thanks for a great app!!

Excellent resource. I really like to use this app every day. It is great to be able to access it from anywhere I am at. It is simple and to the point and easy to use. It is a helpful way for me to start my day.

Daily readings. I am usually up for work at 4 am, and love starting my day with the readings and commentary before heading to the Ford manufacturing plant. Thanks to all of you who produce this app. God bless you all!!!

Great for Saturday. For those who attend mass on Saturday and prefer to follow along via an app… this is for you. It’s the only one that I’ve found that I can access Sunday’s readings on Saturday evening.

Readings and wisdom. Love this app. I can access daily readings and usually a Saint/ early fathers homily about it plus the Saint of the day. All of it takes about 10-12 minutes. Second best after going to mass.
