Passed part II!. I relied pretty heavily on this app, there are some frustrating errors but I took the time to email tech support and they seemed very interested in improving the app. I hadn't heard from them for a while then a few weeks later I got a bunch if emails apologizing because their system wasn't forwarding the emails. If you click with the structure of the app it's great. I really appreciated it as I'm not one to sit down with a book for 8 hours. Long flight? Boring class? In line at the DMV? Lengthy bathroom breaks? This is the app for you.

Great app. I installed app just two days ago and i am surprised how motivated i feel while using it. Today, when we are spending most of our time on mobile phones, just out of habit of picking it up. everytime i pick up my phone, rather than wasting my time on other things, i can study from my phone.

Good but... For those who want to know why an answer is correct, the explanations here are very sub par when compared to dental decks. For example they'll say pupils will dilate because innervation of CN 3, but they won't explain why CN3 gets the trigger. Overall a thorough app allowing you to separate what you know and dont. Or buy dental decks and make 3 stacks of "know, sorta know and don't know"... I'd recommend this app If you can study on your phone as you go.

Great app, great support!. The app was very convenient and easy to use. It's so much more convenient to load this onto your phone and look at a few flashcards or quizzes when you have time, instead of having to lug around Decks flashcards all the time. Being able to mark apps and return to the ones you somewhat know and don't know is great. the quizzes are a great supplement to the flashcards, which also times you to give you an idea of what your time is as well. I felt this app was essential to my study sessions. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great study app. The Customer support was also excellent. Trent worked with me individually when I had questions and was very prompt and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the great overal experience! 2 thumbs up!! -- D4 dental student.

Great app. Overall a great app. I find it very helpful to get an immediate explanation after choosing an incorrect answer. The explanations that have images associated are the most helpful. As a visual learner, I wish they would include more images. Also, I would find the app more helpful if a tab is added to include a library of relevant diagrams and charts (i.e. Drug charts, perio and endo diagnosis, etc.). Regardless, the app is worth every penny.

Dental Mastery. This app is excellent. The app makes learning very easy by allowing students to see what topics they excel at and which ones they need to spend more time with. Worth the money, for sure!

Great App!. Developers did an outstanding job making a user friendly app. Very easy to navigate, doesn't crash and keeps you organized and enables you to prepare wherever you are at. Much better than carrying around flash cards and bulky textbooks.

I really like it!. I like the way the app is designed. It is very user friendly and the questions are similar to other boards questions I've practiced with. I have yet to take part 2 so my review is only from my experience thus far.. But overall I'd definitely recommend it!

Latest update is slow and app crashes a lot. The app automatically updated on May 3rd and now it's slow and consistently crashes when I answer any question. Please fix it!! My test is coming up!

Not 100% happy. You should have better supporting images. Most of them are not explicit enough. Also. Some of your answer choices might be a little ambiguous or could be discussed (just a few)

Good but seriously compromised due to lack of pictures. The app is pretty comprehensive but I'm giving 3 stars for a few reasons: there was a frustrating lack of visual aids given which there's really no excuse for given the price point and the fact that it would not have been terribly challenging to include illustrations/diagrams/etc into the app platform. There were plenty of visual aids on the app for part 1, so kind of left feeling like they dropped the ball in a big way for the part 2 app. When dealing with highly visual material/concepts like perio grafts, occlusal interferences, oral pathology - a picture is worth a thousand words. Instead, by not including representative illustrations, I had to either leave the app to look up pics which slowed me down considerably. Really disappointed in that regard.

Best app ever for NBDE 1&2. I had this app for NBDE Part 1, it was an awesome app and helped me tremendously! I also purchased this app for NBDE Part 2 and it was really helpful! I wish to get this app for ADAT ASAP!! I finished my exams an hour earlier because of this app!! If you got this app, you don’t need to waste your time on ASDA papers!!! This app has it all! These apps Rocks big time!!!

Awesome app pass guaranteed. The reason that I am writing this review is because of the prequel to this app the NBDE part 1 about at least 40 percent of my study time involved using the DBM NBDE PART 1 app and I can most confidently say that is a very significant factor that fetched me a pass in the part 1 it had a great number of high yield questions and appropriate explanations I am hoping the part two also will be the same, absolutely worth of every penny.

Great for Practice. I used the Mastery App for both NBDE I and II. It was a key part of my studying that helped me pass. It had relevant information and helped me connect concepts in a test question-like format. Customer service support is great, too. Highly recommend!

Great app!. As a fourth-year dental student finding time to study can be a challenge. This app makes it easy to just take out your phone and answer questions. I've been using the app in conjunction with the dental decks and the app truly reinforces what's in the decks. Also, their customer service is outstanding. Regardless of the fact that the app is a little pricey, being in your last year of dental school is beyond stressful. The customer service representatives responded almost instantly and worked with me in a patient yet quick manner. Needless to say I would highly recommend this app!

Best practice for boards. Used the app for NBDE I and loved it!

Lack implant questions. The app have lot of good questions and it is nicely organized. However, it is time to update some of the contents like implants, pharm, and pros.

The best apps for NBDE. I did not have enough time to prepare NBDE1. I had only 2 weeks to study so I purchased dental board mastery apps and I solely used it for 2 weeks and I passed. I am going to get one for NBDE2 as well and also Their customer service is amazing. Maddie, consumer advisor was very friendly and responded right away through email. It is definitely worthy to get this apps.

Crashes. The app is really good when it works and people have told me they repeat questions from the app, but it crashes a lot. It seems to crash when you need it then most, like the week of my boards. It will kick you out and ask you to sign back in and even if you put in your CORRECT login information it tells you to check your internet connection (even though you have internet connection) and so you can't login. So frustrating.

The best resource to begin your study.. While things will be changing with the Integrated boards, I could not recommend this or the part 1 app more. While I believe that the pharmacology section is way more difficult than the actual board exam, this app has lots of relevant clinical questions with explanations to all. I would recommend anybody taking the exam to begin your studying with this app.

Great study tool. I was getting too bogged down studying dental decks and not going fast enough. A friend told me about this app and it became my primary tool for studying for boards. It's just so convenient and helps you track your progress, put questions into different categories of how well you know them and lets you review efficiently. I passed though also studied tufts pharmacology(a must!), some dental decks, a couple practice tests, and read some Mosbys on topics I felt weak in. This was my main source though and really helped. App has some spelling errors and stuff but overall great. Worth it.

Bil. It's good for reviewing what you have studied letting you know your weak subjects

Numerous errors. The app is good overall. I used the first one during part I boards and did fine. Back then, the app seemed to be more under the control of the dental students that ran it. The current one has tech support reply if you email which is fine but attention doesn't seem to be paid to all of the mistakes in the app. More so than the Part I app, this one has lots of grammatical errors, spelling errors, poorly written questions, confusing answers, and no means to suggest a correction like they used to have. The app has been out for a while and there seems to be no sign of these errors being corrected

Took a chance...Passed the boards!. UPDATE: I enjoyed using the part 1 Dbm app and passed with that and dental decks, no one I knew had used this app to study for part 2, so I also got Mosbys just in case, which I had heard was good, I couldn't really get into the format though and by the time came I had used this app almost exclusively for studying, and no idea how accurate it was, but I did pass, so very thankful for this app, it turns studying more into a fun game you can use anywhere anytime, I did go through the ENTIRE LIBRARY, and didn't stop until I had an entirely green bar, marking questions green and yellow until I entirely understood the answer/explanation, my recommendation would be to use a new feature they added recently to track daily progress with a newly added progress bar, that you can set a daily goal with (eg 50 questions) and just make sure you hit that goal or more each day, good luck on maybe your last written exam ever :) Makes studying on the fly easy, used app for part one and found useful, had issue where I thought I lost all progress with update, support got back to me with simple instructions and fixed issue, takin boards in a couple weeks

I swear by this app. It's one of the utmost important things you want to do before you give your exam. I owe my success to this app. Love the interface, questions and the ability to red line or mark the wrong questions and revisit them. A few mistakes in spelling here n there but none that would hamper you from downloading this app. Best 50 bucks spent. P.s. The developers are so nice. You can actually discuss some study strategy with them and they give you some advice too. They're good ppl.

Nice app!. I've never written an app review before, but I do have to say this one is a nice addition to regular study materials and very easy for 'on the go'. The formatting is super easy to read, pics are really helpful and good (at least so far for oral path), questions seem the right amount of 'challenging' and the explanations are thorough but to the point. Taking my exam in 6 weeks so we'll see but so far this is great for random down time study moments:)

Worth the price!. This app is very comprehensive and organizes all the categories wonderfully for you! I enjoy being able to study any time, anywhere. The explanations are concise and to the point. Being able to categorize what you do and don't know so that you can revisit questions easily is extremely handy!

PASS. It's a PASS for me. I never used a different source, I did the app three times and took the test and I pass in the first attenpt. You can trust this app 100%. Best news ever for me

Changes. I would suggest you bring back the daily goal bar at the top of the questions so you are aware how many notecards you’ve done that day and if you’re close to reaching that goal. It’s annoying having to go search for that elsewhere in the app. Also, you should remove the images option for the question. For example in path, you have the option to open the image before submitting an answer but if you open the image the answer is on the picture so it doesn’t make sense to do that.

I passed. I passed part 2 using only this app and Tufts pharm to study. I saw a lot of repeat questions and concepts on the test from the app. The customer service has been great, I've received prompt responses to errors I've found. It's worth the 50 bucks to get some studying in anywhere, because without this app I wouldn't have had time to study nearly as much as a 4th year.

Great study source. Mastery app was a really great source to review my study notes at the end of the day and gauge how I was retaining the material. It covers a lot of questions and definitely helped me pass boards!

Overpriced. Overpriced 😡

Recurring charges despite no access to application. I signed up through my university with a 3 month plan that terminated automatically. Although I no longer had access to the premium subscription, they continued to charge me through my card on file every 3months for about a year. I admit it is my fault for not catching the charges earlier, but to charge and not provide the product is absurd. The program wasn’t that helpful to me. The actual exam is more like board vitals which I used more.

So far so good. I tried the trial version and really liked it. They emailed me a special offer to buy the full version for $50 so I did. I knew these next few months would be busy and for me there's definite value in being able to study whenever I want, wherever I am. The app itself is very easy to use and the statistical feedback that you receive for each test subject is useful. I would give the app 5 stars but I have noticed a few typos and I have not taken Part 2 yet so I am not sure how relevant the questions are. If I can remember, I will update my review after taking Part 2.

Good overall. I feel this app is very versatile and helpful. Questions seem good and explanations are concise. The only thing I don’t like is that the explanation after the question doesn’t always give why certain answer options are wrong. Often they are explained but I think there could be some improvement. Overall, I recommend it.

Great App and helpful tech support. I used both Dental Board Mastery apps to prepare for the NBDEI and II. This app is great for on the go studying and being able to stay engaged with content while preparing for the exam. With this specific app for NBDE II, what I found most helpful was the questions presented here are extremely similar in structure and content to what is presented on the actual exam. The app allows you quiz and correct yourself, as well as mark question for review. I would mark questions that were more difficult for me and go through them again (and again) until I got the concepts down. I also like how questions are categorized by not only discipline but also specifics within each discipline... so doing specific studying is also possible, as well as mixing up questions randomly. I did have a technical issue with the app while they were having an update - I had lost all my progress. The tech support was really great, as I just contacted them and they resolved my issue within 24 hours. The only other flaw that I experienced was some minor typos, and some questions had an issue with 2 of the same answers in the questions... though this may have been resolved since then, as they do update the app regularly. As far as prepping for the exam with this app, I did the practice questions for the most part of my studying period and a few days before the exam I utilized the practice quiz section. This section is designed to simulate the actual exam, where you work through a number of questions and then are given a "grade/percentage" of how well you did (and the chance to review the questions to see where you went wrong) only once you've completed all the questions. This was very helpful in building my stamina for the exam, as they have shorter and longer quizzes to choose from. Thanks for such an amazing app, I primarily used it for my mode of studying and successfully passed! Best of luck to everyone taking the boards.

Would recommend!!. (Posted after passing part 1 &2, 1 attempt each) I used this app for Part 1 and Part 2 and found it very helpful. The questions are on the easier side, but they definitely get u used to the format, gain confidence so you’re not second guessing yourself for the more difficult questions. The answers and explanations are straightforward and not complete essays like other study resources. Plus, their customer service was very helpful and quick to respond when I had questions about payment. Would recommend!

App crashes after loading. The app is fantastic but unfortunately it seems like after every update the app becomes more unstable and unusable for a significant amount of time. Currently after closing the app, it becomes unstable moments after loading leading to it crashing.

Lots of repeat questions. So this app is obviously comprised of a lot of old/released board questions, but having said that, I had a ton of repeats on the real thing. It was a great study aide.

So far so good!. I have not taken the exam yet, but I really am enjoying the app. It seems to be very reflective of what they are looking for boards. I appreciate the sync option now, it makes a big difference. It would be awesome to have a companion app for the computer too.

Great app.. If you go through all the questions this is the only study material you'll need. Passed part I with ease and hoping the same for part II.

Errors galore. The sheer amount of spelling, grammar and capitalization errors make me angry that this app costs $90. Pictures were ripped off of google images and there aren't even close to enough, especially for visual learners. The breadth of the questions is good, however the depth of the content is laughable. You will definitely not learn the material at a level comparable to the actual NBDE part II exam. Use at your own risk!

Good app. The questions range from easy to hard and the information is brief but adequate. I've never had problems with the app crashing. There are some grammar/editing mistakes throughout. Overall a great study tool.

Not enough content. Got this app despite of bad reviews from classmates. I'm very disappointed and wish they can improve it by adding more content. Some subjects only have 10 questions ... call for more improvements!

Finally a Dentist!!!!. This app really helped me get over the hump! I am a finally a dentist and I this app is so much better than the other study materials. The material was exactly what was on the test and the format was really nice!!!

Too little depth in answers and too many errors. I liked DBM for NDBE1, but this app for NDBE 2 was not well polished and the explanations left a lot to be desired in multiple sections. I found myself frustrated frequently sending feedback on question errors. For part 2 I think going through the dental decks at least once is a must, maybe use this app as a supplement

Good app too pricy. I got the app on the recommendation of one of our residents tried 50 or so of the practice questions and decided it was easier than lugging around dental decks. It seems a little rediculous that it costs almost the same as dental decks $90

Really helpful in classroom. This app helped me immensely during 3rd year. In particular, the Endo section was far superior to even my notes.

All you need for boards. Fantastic app. This app is the only resource 90% or more of my class used to pass boards. It's convenient to study for long periods without feeling like you're reading a dry textbook or for a short bus ride.

Passed the AFK. I am glad to share that I passed the AFK. This test is offered to international trained dentist who wish to become dentist in Canada. It is similar to the boards in the US. Among the study material I used, this app was the one I preferred. I will for sure recommend it.

If I was A programmer, this is the app I wish I would've designed.. This is the best learning app that I have ever seen. It's fast, elegant, intuitive, well-designed, and pretty awesome. TWC
