Love the game …. But …. I love the game been playing it for about a week now, but then for some odd reason my game is restarting from the beginning… I checked online with customer service, but it says if I delete or download it to another device I lose my data …. I did no such thing, it doesn’t work on my iPad as it’s not compatible, so I’m at a lost here ……

Devs were just kidding. It’s not an actual game because it’s not actually playable. First attempt raised character accessory levels to 3 early and became unable to progress because of a task to do that. Second attempt there was no stamina box to use to complete the quest after two days. Third attempt was just hitting the delete button because this is such a garbage product, everyone feels entitled these days to make games that are designed to get people to spend thousands of dollars and doesn’t even matter if they are playable for anyone else anymore. Hope this company goes bankrupt soon.

Servers Crash Too Often/ Servers Busy. Been playing since release. In the beginning the game was awesome! But then came 5 days into the game and it began crashing. I gave it time. They patched up the game and it went smooth again. But after the patch, I would still expirience small instances getting kicked out in the midst of a quest or something consuming energy to complete tasks. And now I been trying to log in for the past 5 hours and game server says busy and I can’t even load in. I feel like using actual video clips from the anime and pre-recorded clips and animations are taking up so much inecessary space.

Do not pay/spend money Lost progress start over. Was playing since the launch in America. Put in hours to progress and pulled mostly all available characters, the game crashes and all my progress gone I have to start over what’s the point of linking any accounts like google apple or crunch roll if you can’t save game data. Do not spend money on gems too pull anything you could lose everything like that.

Entertaining enough but quests are broken. I’ve been stuck on this same quest (Expedition Challenge 9) since the game has launched the game will not track my progress I need to unlock 3 level 2 skills on 4 characters but will not track progress after 2/4 despite me having 7+ characters meeting the quest completion conditions

Great Game. I love the option to automatically go to the next main story area automatically. It makes it so much easier to follow along and simply enjoy the game.

Text too small. Right out of the gate I had concerns that the text was way too small to read on my iPhone Max - but - I figured once I got through the tutorial I’d have access to settings to increase the size…Wrong!! Unplayable for me as is, so on to the next game

Great game over all. Love the anime and the game is great over all so far. My only complaint as of now would be the extra level time gating on top of the "energy" time gate. IMO it's a bit excessive compared to other games I've played. Still gonna play though 🫡

Gash grab trash.. I don’t normally chime in on games and do reviews but the launch of this game has been terrible to try to play. The game keeps crashing or kicking you off your account. When you sign back in it just says just try again later and you lose your progress. Then the amount of cash grabs are literally all over the game. It’s only an amount of time before they thrust it in front of you on every Home Screen. Please for the love of god fix the issues and make the game stable.

Customer support. I enjoy the game however, they make submitting suggestions impossible. It is a basic function for guild leaders to be able to send guild wide letters to players to ensure every member of the guild is “on the same page”. Please consider making this a game function and adding a way for players to give suggestions to improve the game!

Great gacha game. I being playing for 4 days now and so far It’s great no complaints the only thing is The need of network which is fine but If we lose the server or networks/wifi all progress is gone which is somewhat disappointing and money gone. other then that The story is good just like the anime and close with the manga showing Lore stats and stuff. The free content is great and the new comer draw was amazing well done. 10/10 ⭐️ I love the turn based style and the characters strategy with a good strategy you don’t need a lot of CR which is nice so it’s not a pay to win so free to play is welcome. I would spend money on it but the network/severs concerns is a bit much at the moment. I hope to see the reRoll draw to come back after new players used it maybe in events like Christmas or Halloween 🎃🎄 Appearance the time/work that have been put into the game hope to see future improvements/updates

It’s a game. Pretty much a generic gacha game with an Overlord skin. The problem is there is way too much going on in this one to be an effective mindless time sink. I’m already starting to not bother opening it most days because a couple days in it already feels like a chore. Granted, I know that’s what Japanese people like, but I prefer a little variety. Oh, and the first event being a leaderboard of who’s spent the most money was immediately off putting.

Great game. I’ve really enjoyed this game so far and have had a blast playing it I only have one issue to report with a crash during an ten summon that ate my draw tickets and one of my rings but didn’t give me any charitors or fragments it was on the stander banner so not to big a loss but thought I should report it anyway only issue I’ve had and it was a one time thing

Pay to Win leaderboard. Before the game even lets you summon they push multiple forms of micro transactions. They have a leaderboard that is literally called the “Purchase Leaderboard” that ranks how much players have whaled on the game, with the number 1 person getting the “Pay to Win” title. Combat is boring, literally nothing to say about it. The pre registration bonuses are a joke. The 1000 summons are for junk materials.

F2P and satisfied with progression. F2P player here! I am satisfied with the content, currencies, goals/quests, and rewards that are available to F2P players. Although I play a couple times a day, I still find myself failing to complete all the daily quests and rewards—and that is a good thing! There’s a clear benefit to putting in time INSTEAD of money, which I feel is the hallmark of a good gacha. My only request would be for more characters!

Ok, but why?. Game looks cool and I’ve played it for about a day now and I do like it (considering this is a CR game). However, an issue I’ve noticed recently is that the backup size for this app, despite being only around 7-8 gigabytes currently, is almost 4 gigs for a iCloud backup save!? Like how do games much larger (and better) than this take up half the space this game does? I don’t get it. And yes, it’s probably my own fault for having bad iCloud storage, but my point still stands. For mainly this reason, and the likely chance of this game flopping in about a year’s time, I will be deleting and rating this game 3 stars. Have a good day :)

Finally. I've been eagerly anticipating this game for what feels like ages, counting down the days since it was first announced. The excitement has built to a fever pitch as I've immersed myself in rewatching rewatching the show each piece of information only fueling my enthusiasm further. This game promises to deliver an experience that resonates with my interests and passions, and I can't help but envision the thrilling adventures and challenges that await. Now that the release is finally here, I'm ready to dive in and fully embrace the journey I've been longing for!

Very small text. I downloaded this game ready to play it. I saw the intro and was concerned about the TEXT SIZE being a bit small for me. I went through the tutorial all ready to dive in and quickly went to the settings to see if there was a way to increase the text size. There wasn’t. I am saddened by this because I cannot play this game comfortably on my big screen IPhone. I guess this game is only suited for an IPad. If there are accessibility options added to the game that includes bigger text, then I’ll be happy to play it but in its current form I will have to pass for my eyesights’ sake.

My favorite Anime Overlord. This is amazing too much awesomeness, I have no complaints but I was overwhelmed at first,but that faded. Noo matter what this game holds or flaws it might have, I will stay till the end. (Overlord for life💕❤️💕) Thank youuu for this Amazing game 🫡

Great game. Story is fun, lots of side missions and different activities to do, combat is 🔥🔥. Only thing I’d say is I wish stamina was more abundant and restored quicker. However that was done could even just lower the cost of stamina for each different activity.

Game progress. I pre-ordered the game and am excited that it has come out. But ive had a problem where i randomly lose all my progress even tho i have it linked with my apple id. It has happened to me over 3 time. I would close the app then when i come back it has lost all my progress even tho it is linked with my apple id.

Minor bug. Great game but if you disconnect then it logs you out of your account. Luckily unlike most gacha games your progress is saved through your email

Not Easily Playable. I’ve been waiting for years to have an Overlord game and was completely disappointed with the game play. Specifically the text is sooo small you need a big screen TV just to read it. Makes it nearly impossible to play. Also, you have English text … then why so hard to have English dialogue? Especially in this day with AI conversion.

Wow, it’s a solid RPG gacha. This reminds me a bunch like the game “7 Deadly Sins” and “That time I reincarnated as a slime” with its game play being very similar to both. Its Gacha and pity system are very much like all the other games in this genre right now with FtP elements being pretty fair and giving. That’s said I’m not one of these bleeding hearts who believes I should just be given everyone’s hard work and time away from their family and loved ones for nothing. The store packs are priced the same as the other games giving double rewards on first purchase. Also, you can get a great character and resources on your first purchase even at .99 cents which is a fantastic deal. Overall this looks to be a fun addition to the anime/gacha genre with lots to come in the future. Just don’t be one of those people review bombing for no reason or because you can’t acquire EVERY character without spending money. Best of luck to you all!

Surprisingly GREAT!. If you love Overlord you have to at least try it. The cut scenes are great. Feels story driven and animations are much better than expected. Obviously you can spend money like any of these other games but for the amount of effort put into this I grabbed some of the day 1 buys. Had no idea Crunchyroll was into supporting mobile games. Voice actors are good as well. Easy lvls till 25 to understand the game mechanics but after that it starts the real exp. Worth a download

Phenomenal Representation of Overlord. This game has it all honestly, it feels like an actual DMMO, it has all the characters from overlord, the story is actually captivating even when they change it up a bit. The graphics are great too and i love the open world! If i were to give a critique i’d say to let us use Ainz as an actual character not just a one attack wonder.

Drains phone battery alot. It follows the story which is good, decent graphics, turn base and auto play, needs gear drops and more summoning tickets, requires 3gb to play plus an extra 2 gb more for data always updating requiring more like any other good game.

Good game so far. I’m level 50 and f2p it seems good so far. I haven’t a paid a single thing the only annoying part is the stamina and being constantly log out, so they need to work on that. I be loosing a lot of game time (10-30 mins) because of the constant times I’m being log out, so I’ll give it 4 stars.

I actually like this game and that 10/10 women. This game is very good, I like how they all look like and their powers are actually powerful, but the graphics are a little bad, but I mean it’s the first update either way this is an awesome game keep it up please 😭🙏 just don’t sell with that one anime Roblox game where it fell which is the collab with Crunchyroll

It gets better the longer I play. This is such a good game, it is very F2P friendly, it’s true to the anime, the art is beautiful, the game mechanics and combat is fun. The longer I play and as more game modes are opened I am becoming more and more addicted. Just wow. Love it

Buggy. So for some reason every time I open the app I’m forced to do the tutorial?! If there is ONE thing I hate about mobile games it’s forced tutorials as if I’ve never in my life played a game or mobile game, the option to skip those should ALWAYS be present

Pretty good :). Some of the cutscenes and….. interactive cutscenes were cool and all but it feels a bit slow and the FPS was pretty bad even at 60 FPS. But I do like how the gameplay and Ainz Ool Gown, I only played this cause I recently saw the anime and so far you all did pretty good! Keep improving and im sure this game will be much better

Much Better. This game is much better than the first one that came out a few years back. The gacha rate is pretty fair or at least it has been to me. There are plenty of activities to do and the storyline although slightly different than the anime is awesome. Arena is dominated by the whales as with all gacha games. The only complaint I really have is that some of the character combinations make no sense when compared to the anime. All in all though one of the best phone games I’ve played.

Ok I guess. Gameplay was fun and interactive, till the next time I tried to go into the same server with extremely long wait times or won’t allow me into the server. If I changed servers then all the progress that I had made would be reset

Audio is a little flat. I am very much enjoying this game but I feel like the audio is a little lack luster, sounds very weird and not very clear

Fun but. I do really enjoy the game. It is fun and nice to see more overlord things, however even tho it is just a small thing it does kind of irk me how Aura, mare, and lupusregina for example dont gave their skin tones right for the 3d model instead making them look more white than usual. Other than that its great. Again just a real possibly small thing that bugged me but doesn’t ruin the experience

Server kept saying busy. It was fine for a few days, suddenly when i logged in, it kept saying server busy. I mean im ok if its only for a few hours, but its been 2 days and i cant log in????? Should i join a new server when i already spent on the one i got kicked out?

Device not supported?. The store page here says my device is supported. It says I only need iOS 13 or newer? I have 15.7. The Crunchyroll site said I only need an iPhone 8p (which I assume means Plus?) or newer, and apparently my iPod Touch 7th Gen IS newer. So basically, everything outside the game says it SHOULD work. In-game, however? It says something like, “Check device. (RAM)” I deleted and re-downloaded it. Doesn’t work. Devs really need to get their stuff together because this isn’t the first time I’ve tried to play a game the store page SAYS I can, but I can’t. For anyone who can, good luck. I hope you enjoy it. Be wary of Crunchyroll’s history, and what happened with Overlord: Mass For The Dead. Edit: Nah, I’m not signing up with my full name to contact support. If my device’s RAM is truly too low, there’s nothing you can do about it, anyway. I just wanted the store page updated so it was clear an iPod Touch 7th Gen isn’t supported, since this isn’t the first time a store page said my device IS supported when it’s not. 🤷‍♀️

1000 draws. Let me just say I am enjoying the game my only concern is that I did not get the 1000 draws that the website says you’ll get when you download the game. I just finished a tutorial and I still haven’t received the 1000 drawers. I’m not sure if I’m unable to get them now or how I’m supposed to claim them either way I’ll think I’m gonna continue playing the game because I do enjoy it. It’s just a bummer not receiving the rewards that the website said I would get when downloading the game. Because of that, I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5. It’s basically it’s just false advertisement to try and get me download the game by saying I’ll get 1000 draws and then never actually get them.

I LOVE THISSS!!!!!. I love this game, it reminds me so much and is so similar to the overlord anime. Get it as soon as possible and you get free rewards to start you off. JUST GET IT AS SOON AS YOU CAN. (The devs did their thing with this one guys)

Blatant Money Grubbing Cash Grab. 2/5 -almost every menu selection has a microtransaction. -Story is changed a bit to add fights that never happened for the sake of a tutorial, rather than making a tutorial that is lore friendly. -The game revolves around micro-transactions, so it feel lifeless and stale. Progress for the sake of progress. +The game runs. +The art/animation is good. Another blatant cash grab, trying to milk people for every penny. $99 for gatcha mechanics and energy mechanics, which DOESN’T guarantee that you’ll pull the current banner character. There are 10+ DIFFERENT screens to BUY various game passes. Truly disgusting. Just buy an actual game that doesn’t try to use psychological tricks to entice you to engage in gambling, or watch the show. Skip this one, trust me.

Good game. Yes game is p2w what a surprise but do you get a lot without cash and is the game fun absolutely the only thing i don’t like is the high stamina costs would love to either change that or give us a lot of stuff to do without stamina. All together it’s for sure one of the better gacha games out there probably around 7 deadly sins, guardian tales and brave souls

Overlord is the best. I honestly love this game as soon as I saw it. Good graphics, Good battles, and a lot more stuff I also can’t wait to get CZ she’s my favorite character in all of overlord and anime and I can’t want to get her whenever I can. Thanks for making a great game it’s awesome. 😁👍

There’s a bug when summon. Rarely l live a review but it bothers me a little l use the item that looks like a ring to summon characters in the event and it ask me to buy 7 ring more for the 10 draws and l did so but when l tap to activate the portal the app close on me and lost all the ring and no summon was in the inventory so just to let you guy now about that and hope you have a great day you all

Cash grab.. After 7 days playing and as a fan of the anime series the game fell short of what Overlord is. There are more sections to buy stuff than actual gameplay. My last 2 days were collecting the daily gifts and closing the game after because I had hope to like it. Disappointed.

Can’t even play the game. I played the game for a while and it was good and fun but suddenly y’all decided to put an update for the people that were having errors and I can’t log in into my server anymore not to mention the in game support is just a bot that can’t even comprehend simple sentences other than the options given to you

Excellent rpg gacha. I have played many gacha games and this one is one of my favorites. Of course I am a huge fan of Overlord so I think that has a heavy impact on my opinion of this game. I really enjoy the art direction as the cell shading and character designs are incredible and it really makes it stand out. The small chibi aesthetic is a good idea for the characters on the main map and the variety of minigames present is a nice breath of fresh air as they do not entirely revolve around the standard gacha “combat”. The story of course is great I love overlord and it is nice to see that it is not just a re-telling but also has some unique story beats of its own. Of course if you’re not the kind of person who enjoys Overlord or gacha then you won’t find much here it is still a gacha game after all. But I find it enjoyable and the game is generous enough with giving you premium currency and other rewards that I do not think free to play would be lacking for much. The only downside I can see is a lack of accessibility options at present. I am color blind and being able to discern between the different rarities of items is difficult as the rare and ultra rare colors look nearly identical to me. Other than that I think this is a solid gacha game that fans of Overlord will find quite enjoyable.

Just another Gacha game. It is exciting IP. But this is just another common Gacha game. It would be better if it was a tactical. But good thing, you will want to rewatch the whole Overlord again after playing this.

Need improvement. Big fan of overlord, good gameplay and lore accurate character but the amount of gem available is not much and lack of rate up banners for different units.

Can play. Can’t even play the game cause it states it’s under maintenance after hours of being open what a bust man can’t even claim my rewards and I been waiting for this game.

Bugs. If you switch servers because yours is busy, even if your account is linked, it makes you start from the beginning.

Do not recommend. Multiple issues right away, I somehow I have two accounts with one email, and my crunchy roll is linked to the first account that I can no longer access. Emailed support and they pretty much just blamed me and aren’t helping.

Sad. I really dislike the micro transaction games I figure I’ll get to a point where I’ll have to pay to get farther along

Crunchyroll game.. It’s a crunchy roll game so drop rates are going to be low to push you to buy one of their multitude of packs and the lowest rank is Rare to make you feel good even tho it’s the worst their is.

Text. The text is very small and hard to read with no way of increasing it. The gameplay is fun but I can’t read the story and its very frustrating.

Definitely worth it. I downloaded the game as soon as it was out. Im enjoying it so far, and the devs did a fantastic job with this!

Not again. Would not recommend playing any game by this company no matter how good it is. They will just shut it down after it stops making them money. There are better options for both your time and money.

Another copy paste anime game like 90% of the market. Updated review after playing more: My expectations were far too high as I’ve been excited for this for a while. I thought at bare minimum it would be as good as Seven Deadly Sins Grand Cross. Grand Cross is an example of a simple anime game done incredibly well in a field full of games just like this one. But this is another copy paste anime gacha game with the same-vein turn based combat, stamina locking you from progression with no free to play options when you run out (to get you to buy one of their dozens of packs), rebranded upgrade system, PvP against poorly coded AI versions of other players, etc. In saying that, it does feel like a small step above 90% of the greedy mobile anime game market, somewhere between them and grand cross….. The gacha system unlike most these games also leans more towards HSR style rather than something less obtainable. Unfortunately, like all these other games, it pushes real money shop items in your face everywhere you go and after every achievement or special summon. What’s worse than every other game is that the only leaderboard is literally just the highest spenders on your server. Not team power or other in game achievements. Just straight who spent the most money right there closest to the center of the Home Screen, which makes sense bc the only way you can enjoy the game more than maybe 20-30 minutes a day (after the initial freebies) is by spending money. You can identify all these games by their numbered server setup where they add new small servers daily, hoping that players will just keep rerolling to try and top the P2W leaderboards. Overall incredibly disappointed, but it’s not at the worst of these kinds of games and worth checking out if you don’t mind this limited and greedy style of game.

My account is gone. I had an account that was lvl 26 and I was just looking at the servers and I accidentally clicked on one and for some reason it deleted my other character so no all my work and time I put into is now just gone thanks Crunchyroll amazing feature.

Forced Restarts. I’ve attempted to play the game 5 times now and have gotten past the tutorial twice, however, every time I start the app it completely resets me to the beginning. So much for playing for hours, making decisions, building a team, for it to be all lost the next day.

Haven't even played it yet. 5 for now

Top Tier.. It’s got so much content and is super well made, a huge step above other gachas. Haven’t seen one this good since Fate. Recommended

Great Start!. Fairly new to the game, but so far I am really digging it. Great graphics, fun silly story, and stays with the tone of the series.

Behind the scenes. This game fills in a lot of the holes from the anime and really gives you a more deeper insight into how every decision was made by Ainz. So much more lore I love it!

Review. Man I was dying to play this when I saw it before it’s release and it started off pretty good I just don’t feel it lives up to the hype

Review was deleted.. 110 servers up from 40 after a day… Likely a cash grab, and if reviews are being deleted that claim such then it’s likely true.

Server issues. Played for a few days, and now it won’t let me play on my server. The game lets me into new servers just fine, but I would have to start over.

Really fun. Overall I enjoy the game. I will give it a 5 star if they add jiggle physics.

Microtransactions. Would love the game if you didn’t have to drown in every literal microtransaction known to man. Every button you click prompts a dollar sign.

Missing mechanics. Game has mechanics that are required to progress your training plan that are not in the English/American release of the game. I looked ahead and have completed the entire training tab but can’t collect any of the rewards due to the missing affection mechanic.

Great anime great game. It skipped around a little in the story, but for an action role-play game it’s really fun. If you like the show, you’ll like the game.

Five stars but. Hay I love this game so far but it won’t let me use my earbuds so I hope this is fixed soon

Goodbye my progress. Was really lookin forward to this game, and it was fun, until some error overwrote my progress back to the beginning, losing my progress and all the characters I had gotten, including the limited. FAQ says if progress is reset, there’s no recovery. Messaged support, and not even an automated response.

Cash grab. Not worth the time. It’s another game with power levels that go up as your team gets stronger. You’ll hit a progression cap that you’d need to spend money on. The tutorial is extremely long and the progression rewards for the summon character you choose have horrible milestones. Hate to see a game I was genuinely excited for, become a money pit game. If you already have a game with similar mechanics, (I’m sure you do) just invest your time and money there.

cash grab ! There’s a spending leaderboard!. Wow a million little packs to purchase , not enough energy to accomplish anything and a gatcha system that’s beyond hungry . They made a game before the last season aired it’s no longer around , now there’s a movie release and surprise a new game ….

Game restarts every time. I like the game. Played for 4 hrs straight when I first got it but it is impossible to save or comeback to the game where you leave off. Wasted a lot of time for nothing. Unless you like to play the tutorial and the first few quests over and over and over again don’t waste your time or money. Huge let down.

Didn’t get pre-order bonus. I pre-ordered this game like a month ago, no pre-order bonus. Not even wasting my time.
