Very Reliable.. Long-time user. Use it as a journalist’s notebook so I can concentrate on the interview. I take notes afterwards, and it serves as a record of what was actually said.

Unreliable. Sometimes it acts like it is recording, but only afterwards do you find out nothing was saved. 9 times out of 10 it works correctly, but you never know when it isn’t recording. It is a horrible feeling to realize that your last hour of recording didn’t work. Don’t buy this app. It is unreliable. The email for support doesn’t respond, and there is no web presence for the company. Apple should stop offering this product. It steals people’s money and doesn’t respond when it doesn’t deliver as promised.

Super useful!. Easy, useful, awesome. Just make sure you know your law. I use this for conversations with telemarketers and get it recorded that I’m requesting to be added to Do Not Call lists. Remember to ask them for their name or employee number for accountability. The threat of having the recording generally ensures you actually make it on the list.

Easy, fast. I used it for both interviews with people for articles I’m writing, and to record medical appointment I had on speaker phone. This works nicely.

Overall a Great App. The one thing that fails from time to time is the actual recording of the call. You will think that it’s recording, but when you go to listen to it afterwards there’s no sound. I’m not sure if this is because of the 3 way calling feature, which is how this app functions, or if it’s a bug in the software. I use this app mainly to legally record conversations with my ex due to custody issues with my son. But I also use it when call customer service and Verizon, etc. That is my favorite way to use this app because just like they let you know that the call may be recorded, so do I. You’d be shocked by how well they respond to your call to resolve the issue(s) throughout your conversation 😂 My only real issue is the 3 way call function of this app. Whenever you connect the calls together in order to record the conversation, there’s a definite lag that’s obvious. Not so great when you are trying to be discreet.

Best free call recording app. 500 minutes free!!! No better deal, easy to use, sometimes calls are choppy but still records perfect!

Great WHEN it works. No support.. As pointed out elsewhere, the app will randomly show that your call is being recorded, and then only afterward do you discover that it didn’t record. I emailed the developers to just ask if there was a way to retrieve the recording and was ignored. So - bottom line, if you really NEED to reliably record calls, I suggest going elsewhere. I suspect the developers know that they have a problem and didn’t want to admit that to me. Too bad, because otherwise it’s a good app.

Great Recording App. Works great to record outgoing calls and then be able to share call. My father has Alz and I can share calls with him with my siblings so they can stay up on his progress. Takes a few seconds to get the call merged but works great otherwise.

My country is not supported!. I downloaded the premium version of the app just to find out that my country, Portugal, is not supported by the service. Where is the list of countries supported by the service?!?! I want my money (and time wated) back!

Expensive App to then have in-app purchases. First of all I’d like to preface this review by stating that I never would have purchased this software myself, but my employer reimbursed me for the cost. I’m in shock that this app cost $10 and even after that you still only get allocated a limited amount of “credits” which you can use to record calls. $10 I assumed would give lifetime access to the app but after 5 hours of calls it appears you have to buy more credits. Absurd and there are much cheaper recording softwares available. App works well, just make sure you check with your carrier and make sure that you are allowed to three way call on your network (I had to call my network provider and ask for three way calling to be enabled).

Voice recorder rating!. I can’t tell you the value this recorder has been to me. I’m actually out of free recording, so I’m not sure what the expense for recording a call actually is. It did break up some, but complexly worth it!

Cancel subscription. How do i cancel this subscription? I cant find the option anywhere and i no longer want to or can afford to pay monthly for this

Great recording. I rely on Call Recorder for all of my phone interviews and it has never failed me.

Doesn’t work. After downloading the app, it allows you to make one call & works almost the same as several others like it; However, after you make one phone call a screen pops up asking you to rate the app. There’s only blank boxes in there so you don’t know what you’re actually hitting, it won’t let you anything further until you rate the app. Forcing your customers to rate the app before they can properly use it, then allowing hem too see how they rate it is deceptive and a poor design.

Seamless enabler of productivity. Awesome and easy to utilize

New version not private. Beginning with version 2.7, the app plays ‘beginning recording’ to *both* parties when you merge calls. Even if you’re in a one-party state, the app notifies your caller that they’re being recorded, and there’s no way to turn it off. It’s apparently a requirement by the Apple Store they do this now, but they go out of their way to hide it. Not well-advertised - buyer beware before you throw ten dollars away on this app.

Perfect!. It is a no nonsense app that lets you record a conversation from the beginning or even from the middle of the conversation. It is simple, easy to use, and has the option of letting you download it to your computer and import it into iTunes or wherever else you want to put it.

Asks for phone number. Why does an app need my phone number?

Does not work. I tried all the North American numbers to be able to record and none worked

Hits all the right notes. It’s easy to use (simple UI) and records nice and clear, after you finish your call, hit the play button - your recording will download and then play. The bonus is it’s super affordable @ $12.00 - always worth it to pay up front instead of using a free app that tracks you across other websites & apps - data mining you to death. Buying credits over a subscription is great as you only pay for what you use. Very happy with this one so far!

Call back recorder. I have used this app for over a year, I would not want to be without it and think that everyone would be wise to have it on their phone. Gord

Almost the best. I have tested several recorders as I do many interviews. The clarity of this has been the best for hearing the other person. Some I tried you could hardly hear who you were talking to. My 2 complaints they need to get one of these that you don't call another number as when I have a interview it's a one shot deal and if for some reason they don't merge right I'm screwed. My other issue is this credit crap to have to buy more record time is why I will not recommend my friends or journalist colleagues. I think it's wrong.

Does not work on conference calls. It didn't work trying to record a conference call. The conference call center messaged the passcode was incorrect and it never conencted, Called again without CR and it worked. It does work well so far on other calls. Also, other similiar apps provide a transcript, this does not. Maybe only worth $5

unavalable in certain countries. I'm sure it works great, but I'll never know because I live in France and the service isn't availble here. It would have been nice to know this before I bought the app and started setting it up. There should be a list somewhere obvious like the description indicating where the service is available, sadly there's no indication of the sort anywhere. I'm assuming the USA have access to it, but I don't know where else. I'm writing this in the hope others don't make the same mistake I did.

Can't upgrade. This app was working fine then it stopped working. This app came out with and upgrade In which I did the upgrade and it's still not working. I'm upset and spent a lot of money on this app and can't get a hold of support.

Could use a few tweaks. Love the quality of the recorded calls, hate how you can't fast forward or go back when trying to transcribe them from the App or the Internet. Yesterday I couldn't get the file to save to my computer, and it's been very difficult to transcribe without a "scrubbing" ability. Also desperately needs an update so that when the phone goes to sleep while you're listening/transcribing, you don't lose your place.

SCAM-Doesn’t work as advertised!!. I was misled by app description that read: Features include: - Record your incoming calls No it doesn’t!! On my iPhone 5s with sprint, I got a crucial incoming call I desperately wanted recorded. I followed the instructions and watched a black spinning wheel in the middle of the app spin forever. The app description says: 3) Your existing call is put on hold and your phone will dial our recording number No it didn’t! Apple should yank this app till developer fixes glitch. OR just save your $$$ and stay away from this useless app.

Great App. Did a great job recording my call but it looks like you get 4 hrs recording time then you have to pay for more (?) as it gave me a limit or maybe that is the limit of time to record and you have to start deleting recordings after that - not sure yet....have to wait and see. Otherwise the reversing was crisp and clear on replay.

Heaven Sent. My mother will likely be passing on to the other side before the end of the year, and this app has allowed me to record some precious conversations that I will always cherish. Whether you need for business, or you just want to stay close to a loved one, I highly recommend this app.

I just had ten heart attacks.. I bought this app because of a piece I'm writing for a major media outlet and needed a phone recorder system. After my interview with an important subject (and yes, I took notes, but it was still important to me to have a recording), the app told me that my file could not be opened. It APPEARED to exist in the list of files, but still cannot be played, even twenty minutes later. Thankfully, I was able to export it to email, but in the meantime, I had ten heart attacks. I wanted to write the developer an email, but their website doesn't have any information, let alone an email address. Buyer beware.

Easy, fast, no problems.. I've made ten outgoing calls ranging from a minute to 10 minutes and not a single issue thus far. Audio downloads quickly, plays back smoothly. My voice is louder than the other line, but it's still very audible. Moderate line noise, nothing unusual. Files can open with Evernote AND Fourtrack recorder! I imagine other audio apps would also work. Super easy to use.

Very good app. This app works and works well. The quality of the recording is clear and seems to connect on a dime. I would recommend it with out reservation.

Nearly Perfect. This is a terrific easy to use recording app. Records high quality incoming and out going calls. I've recorded calls that last well over an hour with no interruptions. Cost 10$ for five hours of recording time. That's only 3.5 cents per minute. Recordings can be easily mailed or texted to others. Does not beep during recording like competing apps. Biggest downfall is recording ends without warning if either caller presses # during the call. Does not work with conference call.

Rip Off! - Bad on iTunes. $9.99 only pays for 300 minutes (3.33 cents per minute) and starts counting down before you even dial your call number. iTunes should pull this product or else disclose the true costs.

It's good. I like this service the only thing I would change is being able to send the recording without the app... Otherwise that's is as far as the experience I've had this far I like it...
