Liftoff - Ranked Gym Workouts Comments & Reviews 2026
Amazing. AMAZING, you can see huge progress for the first few weeks and helped me quickly approach my dream physique, although you have to pay for your body to be ranked idrk about that, i look and feel amazing, this app helps you target every muscle from a personalized one or a ai generated one for certain muscle groups
YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY. When you first download this app it will prompt you to become a pro member but YOU don’t have to just click continue until you see a small x in the top left and then move on. I find this app really useful as someone who is relatively new to working out and I’ve gained a lot of muscle and lost some weight I started on this app weighing 214.5 lbs and now I am 186 after a few months using the app it taught me how to do proper workouts and stretches also helped my eating habits! If you are looking for an easy way to workout and lose weight this app is for you! (I promise I am not a bot)
Surprised. Honestly I am shocked I thought after opening the app the first time it would be like other lifting apps where the second you get in you have to pay for a membership but you don’t I love that they give you the option of this choice
Liftoff review. Great app just a little confusing at first when it says to rate my rank I clicked that instead of going to start work out portion and it gave me Olympian for 100 push ups …. in my head I’m like I’m active but that can’t be Olympian but then I figured it out and add the work out correctly and it gave me silver 3 Great app regardless !!!💪
Honestly best app I’ve used. I never write reviews, but this app really did change my life. I was never able to be consistent at the gym, but seeing my ranks and actual progress in the app made me addicted to this app. Unironically I would look forward to my gym sessions now because I think of how much LP I’m gonna get this workout. Props to the devs that actually made gaming into something impactful in real life
Suggestions. I enjoy this app, and it does what you need. One thing that I dislike is how you can’t end an exercise without removing exercises you didn’t fill in. I understand that’s there to motivate you to finish the whole exercise. However, there are circumstances where I can’t finish it. You may wonder why I don’t just remove it? Well, it’s because sometimes I modify other workouts like swap them to something I enjoy more or want to try and I want to update my routine, but I want to keep that exercise I missed and I don’t want to forget to add it back.
Great idea, good execution. This app is pretty cool, it has a Duolingo esc streak tracker, the ranked system and it’s free for the most part. It inspires healthy competition which I like and you can have friends on it which is cool. One thing the app could do better, when generating workouts/ targeting muscle groups it keeps giving me other groups I don’t want to train that day, like if I’m doing a back day it adds legs which I don’t like. One more thing, when choosing splits it should let you choose multiple options. My split is typically chest and tris, back and bis, legs, then abs. Due to this I can’t generate my split the way I want. Overall the app is pretty cool, I just hope they don’t get greedy and make you pay to stay in shape.
Getting me back to workout. I love working out but god has it been hard lately, thankfully my friend recommended me this app along with social media. So I decided to give it a try and it’s been really helpful. And all the workouts I never knew off have been really paying off. Thanks Liftoff! Only been a week and seeing results
Amazing app. This app has actually changed how frequently I worked out. Before I got this, it was just a waste of time, and I wanted to focus on games. Now, this app basically turns working out INTO a game. The ranking system does need some work, like I shouldn’t be getting Platinum III over 50 pushups, but it’s whatever. PLEASE, install this if you want to get serious about working out 🙏
Amazing app. Not only does this app give you ranks for each of your exercise which is calculated based off body weight, weight lifted and reps for said weight. But it also provides the ability to track workouts, provides the ability to create new workout routines, and if you’re not sure what to do, you pick your targeted muscle group , how long your desired session is, and it automatically generates a routine for that session, as well as providing useful clips of how to perform the workout. And the best part, ITS ALL FREE. I never write reviews but I’m really passionate for fitness, and I love this app. Thank you creators for making this app.
Love it but. I love it. This app is awesome and it is definitely helped me shape my workouts different and keep up with my progress better than ever before but if I had to find a complaint, there is just certain workouts that do not get ranked whatsoever such as cardio and bodyweight, squats, and stuff. I would love to see that stuff contribute to ranks and get ranked. Also, it seems that workouts are more rewarded off of how much weight you are moving versus the reps of the exercise, thank you
Update. Almost 2 months into this dope app. Keeps me motivated to progressive overload. Some exercises need to be updated though. My tricep rating is platinum simply because of cable tricep kickbacks. You have to literally be Hercules. To reach my other tricep movements I have to lift 80 pounds for 10 reps in one arm. I would need 50 more lbs of muscle to achieve this. Please update this exercise my ego is hurting bahd.
Great app and customer service. The app is great, dont really have any other things to say about that. When the app had just came out, there were some issue (they are now fixed). But during this time, the devs and discord really helped and were really friendly.
Consistency. I always struggled with consistency but after using this app for a week, I look forward to my workouts everyday. This app keeps a record of my previous reps and sets at all times making sure to set a goal for myself to keep pushing myself every time I work out. I don’t see myself falling off anytime soon and I can’t wait to see what future holds. Currently only at silver but I can’t wait to climb the ranks. Truly an app I recommend getting and trying out for yourself :)
Optimal. I know that it’s not easy to always have a lot of motivation when you’re in the gym, sometimes I certainly struggle with inspiration or I feel like I’m getting a little burnt out like I’ve been working out too much almost. Lift off makes it feel like I have constant competition and motivation and it’s fun to have a game that is is based around exercise. I give this a five out of five, it’s certainly worth the download!
Didn’t like at all. My friend told me about this app, cool idea. I heavily dislike the execution, User interface does not feel great to say the least, gives me the same feeling of something ai generated. I did not pay for the full version, maybe the full version makes more sense to use, but I was really disappointed with everything from the way you add your routine, to the aesthetic choices. Took me longer to actually start using the app than how long I used it before deleting. Not very intuitive to use and too much hassle to put in my current lifts. Paywalls the leaderboard. Maybe if I was complete beginner it would be more enjoyable. YMMV
Love it all but…. Great concept, only thing I think would be good for people who are trying to get started in the gym is being able to search muscle groups to find workouts that target that muscle so people can switch exercises for the same muscle group. I think it’ll help people explore new workouts as well. Other than that, I love the app. Good job!
Excellent app. As an avid gamer trying to get in shape there’s a great rank system and item shop that you don’t HAVE to pay for. You can earn all the currency you need just by being active in the gym. It has a well thought out streak system to keep you motivated that includes rest days. The only thing I’d take away is the aspect to pay for a premium. I get it as a future game designer but instead of a premium where you can use certain aspects of the app, I wish it would be more of a “membership” so to speak where you can unlock a free and paid section. I want to know what I need to get to the next rank instead of guessing and possibly hurting myself. If that were the case, it would be the perfect workout app. P.s. maybe add an avatar section 🤷🏻♂️ something you can personalize and show off. Then you could add stuff to the shop like workout gear and stuff to buy with eggs. Completely optional feature
Absolutely Amazing. I really love the whole idea and aspect behind the app. It has almost every workout you could want to add to your routine, and if it doesn’t, you can create it. I love being able to track my weight, reps, and muscles worked from before with the present. The “game” features of it make it really fun. If you “cheat” and put in fake weight, you are only cheating yourself. Now, the only reason I am giving this a 4 and not a 5 star review is because to access the body ranks, which was my initial reason to join, you have to pay for premium. It’s so cool to check out your “rank” for each muscle, but I don’t want to pay 7 bucks a month for a colorful little image of my muscle ranks. Maybe if it was like 2 bucks.
Motivating fitness app. I really appreciate this app for keeping me motivated in my workouts. The app tracks the days you work it traps the reps and sets and weights of the exercises you do. It encourages you to increase your weight and reps and there is a nice community cheering you on. The app has automatically generated workouts, which I like, however, as a woman, there are certain muscle groups that I do not want to train, and the app does not have a way of specifying exercises or muscle groups that I don’t want to strengthen such as my neck, my wrist, my shoulders and chest. Overall, I’m pleased with the app and will continue to use it.
Why it helps new people. I’m not new to working out but I will say this help with motivation and discipline with working out. You also see so many workouts that you may have never seen before. I want to say the rank system could be better but overall a really good app
Love it, but. I love this app, and I even love how they allow you to do a lot of things without having to pay. My hold up is the actual tracking of the workouts. It takes so long to log everything that I feel like half my workout is typing on my phone. I also am not a fan of how when you want to put in how much weight you lifted or how many reps, it’s not clear on if it’s each arm or combined. So for some workouts I’m in a high rank, and in others I have basically nothing, even though I am strong in both areas.
Wish you could change the date. Great app, however I didnt have my phone for two workouts and the only way to add it was to go to manually import. When I do that the app still doesnt count it as me working out on those days and caused me to lose my streak. Would like to see there be a date button on the normal log page
Huge Motivation. This app is insane! It’s exactly what I’m looking for when it comes to a gym app. Allows me to track sets and reps, but the really cool part is the competition it creates. You can see what your friends are doing in the gym too and help motivate them as well as yourself. I’ll be using this app for the rest of the time I’m in the gym💪🏻💪🏻
working out as a 14. This app has help me want to work out more teaching me new ways to work out as a fourteen year old most of them like enjoying playing video games like I do but just play video games this app can help any kid or adult want to work out while keeping track of there progress
Great motivator. After going off to college I wanted to get serious about my lifting Journey. I saw an ad on Instagram for Liftoff and downloaded it immediately. This app is great because I keeps me motivated to go to the gym every day. I also got all of my friends on the app as well and being able to see what they are doing in the gym everyday is awesome. Very excited for the future of this app.
Works well and gamified fitness is fun. Like title says, app works well. It’ll get better as they add more small things. For improvements I’d like to see it integrated with Apple fitness so they can track distance and steps. Also more customization options on custom exercises. For like sled pushes or farmers carries (adding weight and distance carried/push/pull)
Great app but…. A very engaging and creative way to track lifts and stay motivated. However, I am a wheelchair user and have around 8 years of lifting experience. As I’ve been using the app and tracking my lifts, I noticed that all my suggestions and predictions are full of lower body exercises that I haven’t even done (obviously😂). I’ve also noticed that because I’ve not done these lower lifts, it absolutely tanks my overall rank. If there was some option to remove lower body from the equation/ keep it from negatively affecting my rank, then this would be the perfect app for me.
Solid App. Love this app, use it everyday to log workouts. A couple things I’d like added; 1. Log what grip I’m using, as this will also affect what muscles I’m working. 2. Log what attachment I’m using(interchange attachments on cable machines) 3. Add programs, like sets of routines. Ex. I’m doing a 4wk PPL program 6 days a week. I’d like to be able to come in on Monday and log in my program and start my designated routine for that day 4. Let me add notes for each workout so I can note if I need to add/lower weight or make changes. And have them carry over to the next time I use it. 5. add the ability to set your city or gym location and post a “ looking for gym, buddy” kinda like a LFG post for video games. 6. Add the ability to perform a workout with another person on the app without both of the people having to log it on their phones separately
I like this. This app has been awesome. It’s allowed me to workout more and have things scheduled while also seeing my rank and where I could be, it’s very cool. I think it would be awesome if they made a team season mode where you can have a group of you and some friends against your other friends and whoever can have the higher rank wins and maybe you could wager your eggs on it.
Fantastic app. This all helps with all the downsides of lifting it can generate workouts if you dont know what to do. This app also logs all of your progress throughout your lifting journey, also the app helps push you to keep working 10/10 app if having trouble getting started this app is a great resource.
It motivates me to do better. The ranks show humble me and show me that I can always improve my lifts. Also being able to see what I have to do to get the next rank motivates me to do more than I would usually. The premium subscription is really cheap and affordable and worth it.
Good but didn’t work for me. The app works fine but to an experienced gym goer it seems useless. To me it seemed like fixing a problem I don’t have, it helps you build workouts, track progress, and time your breaks between sets. All these benefits seem great but before getting this app I was able to track my progress though simply being able to lift heavier weights. I also just used the stop watch on my phone which was much more convenient than the one in the app. Plus I know what muscles are worked in an exercise by a simple google search. All these factors may be overwhelming when planning a workout as a beginner but if you exercise consistently you will get used to this process. Additionally I disliked having to input all my weights and rep counts in order to view my “rank” which was the only reason I got the app in the first place. Now that I have my ranks the app seems pointless. If you’re new maybe try this app or you can do 20 minutes of research to build your own split for your personal goals. I’m sure this app works great for some people but it’s not for me. - an experienced bodybuilder
All gym goers should use this app. It's not even just about boosting your ego or being humbled with a rank. It's being able to instantly identify which muscles are your strong points and which ones you need to work on. The ability to track workouts live and upload them and keep up with friends is amazing. Liftoff has made my workouts so much fun, and I've been using it ever since I began going to the gym about 6 months ago. Seeing my improvement throughout the app is so helpful and satisfying. I began at around bronze for most exercises but now sit at platinum and gold. Very amazing app. More than 5 stars if I could.
Game changer. I don’t rate apps often, but this really is a game changer, as the title implies. There’s times where I just don’t want to work out when I’m at home simply because I don’t know what to do and I’m too lazy to go through “best dumbbell exercises at home” search results. Besides every other sick feature this app has, it can even generate workouts for you based on your equipment and location. It does everything for you, it even counts your rest time and tracks all your workout data accurately. All you really have to do is actually lift the weight. That being said, I’d give this app 6 stars if I could. Truly a game changer.
Great layout, awesome service. I originally found this app through an instagram ad and a lot of the comments were actually praising it so i thought i’d give it a try. The layout is very user friendly and easy to look at and I also love all the stats they give about the muscles hit. I had an issue when switching phones, where I couldn’t sign into my old account and the app instead created a new account. I was worried I had lost all my progress until I messaged the Instagram account and the really cool dude working it helped me get my account back. Shout out to that guy 🙏. Highly recommend for tracking workouts and progress !
Community. I love this app. I got my friends and family to join even though we’re all on different paths with our fitness journeys and we were still able to compete with each other and keep each other accountable throughout the whole process thanks to this app everyone in my family and friend group are reaching their goals, faster, and more efficiently.
Fun but misses the mark. Decent app overall for tracking workouts and helping some folks stay consistent and push themselves. That said, the ui feels a bit clunky and could use some streamlining. The biggest downside is the entire draw of the app - the ranking system, it’s pretty underwhelming. It’s unclear whether rankings are based solely on user input or some other formula, but if it’s the former, the “discover” page explains a lot. Tons of users seem to be inflating their lifts (apparently not realizing their selfies and lifts post together). In my own lifts I’ve seen champion rank for deadlifts, then silver for iso rows, and bronze for pendulum squats while high diamond in normal squats. It’s all over the place and becomes worse if you try to track niche lifts.
was a 5 star, still an amazing app. This all was great and the pro is great to have, but the main problem is the new LP ranking system. It’s really weird to rank up and how to rank up with LP in leagues, the old one in the Prelude season was so much better because it made more sense and I felt it was more even with my ranks. It’s still a great app and the ranks on the individual exercises is still amazing and motivating to rank up. I love how the rest of the app works and how it’s easy to navigate and work. It’s a great app overall just the main problem is the new ranking system, but it might just be me. I love this app and definitely recommend and i definitely recommend the premium version too.
TOTALLY WORTH IT. This app has completely changed how I view working out. It used to be a chore to do but this rly did change everything I mean i actually want to work out now, and it feels just like a video game it makes it so much more fun. It also keeps track of pretty much everything for you and it’s all easily accessible making it 10x times easier to know when you’ve improved. Overall if your struggling or even losing interest in working out this app is definitely for you!!
I think this will be number one on fitness. I like this app because it gives me that little motivation to work out and on the days that I miss my workout, I like how it just comes up with little things to motivate me, and even when I break my streak, it motivates me still sending me over vacations about it every day
Loved it at first. At first i loved this app. It was great. It really made working out fun because of the ranks, i loved ranking up in muscle categories and seeing my progress. But i guess not anymore. The thing that made this app good now costs money. Great, another great app ruined by greed. Just dont even give the free option anymore because it doesn’t even do anything different from just writing your stuff down on a sheet of paper. Disappointed.
Amazing App + Suggestions. Overall, I love this app. Motivates me and a my buddies to push ourselves more than before due to the game aspect of it. For a few suggestions: the ability to have 2+ of the same movement in the same routine (ex: I want to superset lat raises with push down and extensions, 3 sets of raises super setted with both of those movements. But you can’t split up lat raises to be 3 sets each, it will show as all 6 together. Pretty much just asking for the ability to split up those 6 sets to 2 sets of 3. Also more ranks on cardio such as running, as well as adding a bike machine). These are pretty minor suggestions and I know it’s still in development. I love this app tho, yall are doing a fantastic job and I can’t wait for future updates.
The free version is actually amazing. This app is exactly what it advertised to be, even for free! I’m getting individual ranking per exercise that cumulate into my average ranking both for weightlifting and calistenics, I’m ranking up when working out, it keeps track of my workouts including weight, reps, rest time, and total time. I mean this app is incredible!
Add more ranks like the ones in insta. Olympian which is currently the best rank you could reach is hard to achieve. However many on the leaderboard have reached it. I think you should add at least one more rank as seen in the instagram account. Eternal, celestial and whatever the next one is.
Best Workout Tracking App!. If you previously had Levels (it’s called Arrow now, I believe), this is the upgrade you need. Liftoff allows you to track every individual exercises, create new ones for other people to use, and you get the satisfaction of being ranked against people across the world as a friendly competition. What’s more is that’s there’s a lot more convenience too such as labeling your sets (warmup, superset, drop set, etc.), which Arrow doesn't have. You can also set individual rest timers as well for each exercise. Can’t explain how easy it is to use.
Great app for lifting. I’ve been lifting for about 4 years now and this is the best fitness app I’ve ever came across. After my workout, it pays off to see the muscles I’ve worked, all the stats behind the workout, and my ranking of each lift (if you have premium). Really recommend this app for those looking to stay consistent on the gym. Thank you liftoff team!!!
Back on the wagon. At 50 I don’t have many friends that want to work out as early as I need to before work. I fell off the wagon early summer and just accepted that this is life as you get older. Then my son shared this app with me when I was home and jumped in on his work out. It’s been a week now and I love this app. I don’t need a workout partner, just something that I know is tracking me and that’s enough to get me back into working out again.
Muscle Groups. App is cool, just bugs me the way it classifies some of the muscle groups. For example I do weighted dips and they are listed under traps and triceps as primary muscles worked rather than triceps and lower/mid chest. I also feel like upper, middle, and lower traps should be split if upper and lower chest are going to be. I also feel like weighted calisthenics is not properly ranked. For example if I will max out on 15 chin ups in a row, then throw some weight on and max out on reps and somehow my rank on the lift goes down when I feel it should at least stay the same since I’m obviously not getting weaker. Still a really cool app, just some suggestions I hope the developers see.
Real good for tracking progress. Used a pretty cool ranking system that it lets you use for free for a week then you gotta pay for it to use the calculator thing, but it still gives you ranks for free on your normal workouts so really no complaints since you still can see your rank
Did you know that you can earn 25 USD from our site just by registering? Get $25 for free by joining Payoneer!
Paid service. The app brings you through a setup survey then requires payment after a 7day trial. Please state this somewhere at the start as to not waste peoples time who cannot afford $200 for a lifetime subscription
Good challenge. This app makes me push myself more than ever and always keeps me motivated to achieve, cool rank system too!
Decent. Was a great app and I loved it up until 2 days ago, it kicked me out when I try and log a workout and is quite frustrating
Starting questionnaire. The staring questionnaire asks good questions until they start asking about weight and weight management. The AI prescribed me with a zero carb diet without even asking with what type of training I do. It prescribed me keto when I am an athlete??? I get that things are improving and more can be changed but seriously diets should NOT be prescribed when you don’t know important information about the Client.
5 stars all the way⭐️. This app has completely changed my training! Tracking macros is so easy, and seeing muscle growth reflected on my avatar keeps me motivated and consistent. The exercise demos are super helpful, and the workout plans take all the guesswork out of training. I loved it so much I upgraded to Pro before my free trial even ended!
Perfect. Liftoff is life🥹 it is such a great app and is sooooo helpful, the pro features are totally worth it, you just need to stay committed💪. I was getting ready this morning and logging my food and I thought of this ELITE IDEA. So please take note. I have seen that you have like connected with Strava and I really like that. So I was thinking that if you connected with like watch company’s like Garmin for example (it’s what I have and I use it heaps for fitness) and if you connected with like it to liftoff then you could use the health feautures from the watch and use it too add to nutrition areas. It would definitely pull people into using the app and would definitely climb charts, so I know it’s not that easy but if you do this, it would be incredible ❤️
Import not working. Keeps giving me an error when trying to import my workouts from other workout apps. Please fix. Otherwise looks like a clean app
How I started. I’m looking forward to embark on this journey of weight loss it has started nice and I recommend new comers should use this often.
Liftoff. Most motivational workout app, where you rank yourself amongst friends or peers or people around the globe.
I can’t use it. I’ve just started my free trial and I am welcomed by the app saying “thank you for your purchase, welcome to liftoff”, with a button below saying return to app. I press the button, doesn’t work. I close the app and try again. Still stuck on the same screen. I reset my phone. Still stuck on the screen.
Good but bugs out. It’s a nice app with great features but sometimes the whole app just freezes when I’m trying to finish a workout. It’s only happened 3-4 times so far. Bit annoying but the positive outweighs the negative. Could be my phone but thought I’d leave a review just in case anyone else is getting it.
Liftoff. It’s a good app but it doesn’t let me submit my workouts for days sometimes so I lose my streak
My Opinion. Generally the best app I’ve ever used. Being able to see your past sets and make presets makes tracking progress and progressively overloading 10 times easier.
Good app. Great for tracking sets and a nice twist on working out by adding a rank system, one issue are the ranks are a bit messy and h will be hard stuck plat for a long time 4/5
Sick app for tracking and comparing. Love this as it scratches that gaming itch in my head to always progress and fill the bar. Love that the money side of it is largely hidden from the free aspects. Great app!
Rest timer won’t work. Great concept, love the ranking feature. However is missing a few essential capabilities and also the rest timer alarm won’t go off in my phone so I lose track of time. I’ve tried everything even restarting the app, nothing has worked. Very inconvenient.
Great stuff. Great stuff mate, makes it easy to track workouts. Has a massive range of exercises, almost everything I do in my split. Haven’t used the social features but I’m sure that’s a bonus
Cant get pass the „Get stronger with Bodyranking“ screen. I literally cant get pass the „Get stronger with Bodyranking“ screen. I press the blue „Got it“ button and nothing happens. I love the idea i saw on instagram etc. ,but why would you have a version on the AppStore that doesn’t let new users get pass the account creation.
Pay. Spend 20min setting the account to see i had to pay for it… another subscription… get fkd
Kai. Great for recording workouts and easy to use and find exvercies you are doing
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Would be a 5 star but it keeps trying get me to buy premium and buy other micro transactions and I don’t mind when apps do that because you gotta make money some how but when it keeps popping up in my face it’s annoying because I will not spend money on any app no matter how much I like it but other then that it is a great app :)
This app got me back into the gym. So originally i was in the gym twice a week, doing leg day once every 1-2 months no joke. Now i have something to go gym for, this app made going gym fun. I go 4 days a week now, I go out of my way to go! Really great motivation and keeps you accountable!
Honest review. Good app but fitbod is better. The exercises are not varied enough, it’s not on Apple Watch, takes a lot of time getting to know way around the app whereas fitbod does everything minus the rankings and fitbod is much more user friendly - especially for beginners
Hi. Love how it’s free and you can log all of your sets and reps. It has an amazing library of exercises and overall such a useful app
Very good. The app is awesome i’ve been using it consistently for about 6 months now and it’s great to see the development of it, however there are still a lot of features I would like to see that other apps have such as diet tracking/macros, I would also really like to track my food throughout the day which I can’t do and the premium features are a good for some people but I’m not going to be measuring my hip width very often (as an example). I really hope the developers can work on a food tracker as this is a very important part of most people fitness journeys.
Great app. I have been using this app since Feb alongside with calorie counter and has been fantastic in tracking my progress. Love all the features and support the app has received in the time I have been using it, keep up the great work and can’t wait to see what else is in store
Best lifting app. I’ve been using liftoff for over a year and I need to say this app is the best for lifting. You can everything you need for free and the benefits of paying premium is great as well. They keep updating the app and add great features. I’m looking forward to seeing how the new calories tracker goes too! I’ve recommended this app to all my friends and all have loved it too. Fixing issues also is great from team, fixing problems very efficiently and effectively. Liftoff also has a great community around it. Kudos.
Great app however. This app is amazing for what it is it is perfect for my situation and I will keep using it. But if the devs could add an Apple Watch version it would be so much better
Fantastic. Great app love that it shows the muscles trained afterward, and love the competitive side of it. Really helps to keep track of gym sessions, only suggestion is before you choose a exercise to put in it would say which muscle/muscles that particular exercise would train.
Easier food logging. I have to scan the same items and put in the same serving sizes everyday. Next update should use a tool that you can automatically put in your most common foods
Get this app!. Amazing interactive app that your progress and allows you to compare with friends with rankings and medals based on how well you’re performing. Incredible stat tracking and visual graphs for target areas.
4.5 Realistically. Great app and the features for the free version are well snd truely enough. (Haven’t tried the premium free trial yet but thats not going towards the rating) Only thing is how it can be a bit tricky to find the right or correct exercise in the search otherwise really well constructed and user friendly app
Fix the “Well done” part. I can’t even do the workouts because it’s leaving me on the “well done” screen with someone holding a map on a mountain and I can’t even exit the screen because there is no button to. FIX IT PLEASE it was honestly so good at first but when that screen comes up I can’t do anything. Please fix it
Perfect free app. Most apps indulge you in micro transactions and other nonsense but this app is perfect for logging workouts or even being consistent. I’ve been using it for a couple days now but it has seriously helped me improve my training from home. Hats off to the developers!
Unclear sign up instructions. I was under the impression I was starting a 1 week free trial. Then it went on to be $60 per year, I agreed to that and the $60 came out straight away. No free trial at all. Tried for refund but wasn’t eligible. Ridiculous app already
A. Great app and has helped me a lot across my journey
Game-ified the gym. Fantastic app for me, got me motivated to join a gym and get started. Have gone 4 days in a row and loving it, both the gym and the app. The structured workouts are nice, and the worked muscle tracker is handy. I do occasionally find myself replacing exercises with other ones due to either not understanding how machines work, not having the experience to do them, or just wanting to do something different. They do have a handy replace exercise function, however you have to choose both the exercise and the weights yourself. I’d suggest adding a feature that will show you what other exercises use the same muscle groups, as well as suggest the recommended weights for you once selected. Would make a world of difference for me. Otherwise great app, really fun premise.
Strongly agree to get this app. Very good shows my progress
Fun. Makes working out 10x more fun and kinda like the duolingo style they chose
The app was good, hoping they fix it. The app was great, I’ve been using it the last 3 or 4 months and been loving it, but after the recent update it now freezes a lot and will just randomly close itself. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it fixed the issue of not being able to finish a workout, but the other issues continue.
Great tracker. This app has helped me improve my progressive overload and i have gained 4 kilograms of muscle within aml month and a half
Double pulley option. Rest of the app is great but i think there should be a double pulley toggle option Say i do 45kgs on a double pulley machine, that's half the weight against a single pulley, which messes up the rankings in my opinion
Keeps me motivated. I really enjoy Liftoff. I feel like every gym session makes me want to push slightly more so I can rank up and I am incentivized to not fake weights or anything because I want to be able to see the statistics over time to see how much I've progressed. I think it's a great idea. I think the free tier gives you everything you need. I think it's an amazing app and I think everyone should use it. It's the best app I've used so far for fitness tracking and the fact that it also integrates with Apple Health and everything just makes it even better. The features that you could add to this are endless so well done to the dev team on this. Would love to work for you, just saying. Been lifting for 15 years and I'm impressed. As a developer myself, well done.
I recommend. I highly recommend, it’s a great way to keep track of all your exercise’s, the weight you use with them and comes with routines that you can make yourself to save your workout routine
Don’t waste your money and time. Makes you feel out every little thing and rate it just before asking for money… trash app. Camera for food counting, definitely not accurate as doesn’t even count the ingredients correctly/weight. Listed chips as carets…. Can’t tell with oils either…
Great app but seriously. Please make it so I can finish my workout without removing sets I haven’t done. It’s actually so annoying cause I either have to update routine or not but may have made changes during the workout that I want to be updated
Review. I wish there was a option to put your best lifts in. Also wish there was a feature where I could link MyFitnessPal progress to the app. All in all this app is a really cool concept
Charged before free trial. I recently downloaded liftoff and was surprised with the offer of a free trial. As anyone would, I went ahead and subscribed thinking I would have a week to decide if I wanted to keep paying, or just use the free version. BUT NO, I was immediately charged for a month of pro and it seems there is no way to contact support and sort the issue out. Anyway because of this negative experience I will no longer be using the app.
Great app. I really like this app. It helps me track my progress and keep me honest. Only feedback is it’s very much focused on gym exercises and doesn’t give option to add other exercises that may be less gym traditional which are fairly common and I do in my regime
Hey guys. Cool app but recently it stopped letting me upload photos from my gallery, and because you don’t have a timer for your inbuilt photo system I have to hold my phone when I take a picture which I’d prefer not to do. Cheers

Paywalls. Every workout gives you 3 paywalls minimum begging for buying pro
Great concept, poor execution. I hate paywalls I hate paywalls I hate paywalls I hate paywalls I hate paywalls I hate paywalls I hate paywalls I hate paywalls I hate paywalls seriously, I would’ve taken a lot of ads over this expensive membership.
Stupid automatic purchases. Used the 3 day free trial didn’t like it so i canceled the app glitched out and made me pay 120$ for a whole year subscription and apple won’t give me a refund and there’s nobody to reach out to for those things absolute garbage
Extremely good app would recommend. I love this app, it makes working out fun and you can get ranked on how many reps or how long you can hold a plank or a wall sit for. It is so fun even if you don’t buy the pro pack.
amazing.. i went from having no motivation for the gym to wanting to go daily for my streak. 1.5x my bench from a few months ago.
Super good. Most excersize of fitness apps are payed for this app is honestly better than all of them and still has a free option. Would really recommend
Good app overall. Liftoff is a solid beginner friendly app, and I’ve been using it for over 80 days now with the premium version, the only thing I do not like/ wish they had was a way to go back and edit a day because I tend to forget to add my hikes/ bike rides/ at home workouts till the day after I’ve done them. I haven’t used their meal tracking much but besides those two things I really enjoy the app (:
NOT FREE. You set up an account and then they ask you to start your 7 day free trial before they charge you.
DOUBLED subscription cost within a year!!. Great app, I had pro for a year and it was amazing. For $50 there isn’t a better app for tracking. But when my subscription had to renew, they want $110 now?! Ridiculously expensive. Wouldn’t allow a concurrent subscription, made me end mine, and forced me to pay more. I emailed support two months ago and still no response. For this reason I will no longer be supporting, due to the lack of customer support, and the more than double pay increase. Terrible.
Honestly, I’m impressed…. I’m in love with the aesthetic and design of the app, and the rank system is a tremendous motivator, you wouldn’t believe it. There is enough content and features accessible to free users to make the experience worth it, which is quite rare in the current generation of mobile apps, so I’m begging that experience doesn’t get ruined anytime soon. Nothing more to say, honestly. Fantastic motivational content, amazing design, colourful, hats off to this!
Not free. They make you set up an entire profile just to tell you to pay them so you can use the app
Membership. The app is fun but they should make it so that u can buy Pro with ur eggs(the game currency)
Fantastic App. Amazing app, keeps me working out consistently. Keeps my workouts unique on a day-to-day and has me working on my weaknesses over time so that ai become well rounded. I do wish it had a feature that allows you to choose a celebrity or fictional character that you are aiming to look like and then tailor your workouts to that but maybe one day! Great app though, definitely recommend it
Why is the paid version worse?. I downloaded this app, great app by the way. I use it maybe everyday, it is super helpful and forcing me to push myself and actually get stronger, rather than plateauing at a certain weight. HOWEVER. I bought liftoff pro years ago, and still have it. I recently got one of my guys to start going to the gym with me, and put him on the app. When he started using it, I noticed his app looked a lot different than mine, being able to access new features, having a different UI, all that stuff. I even deleted and reinstalled the app, did many updates, yet still I am missing features like recovery and some body graphs. Devs I would really like to give this app 5 stars but I need a fix to this, please help me out.
Great. The timer function for breaks is great, I’ve been working out at home for years with just the internet for guidance and the workout rating showed me the gaps in my routine, now I feel my workout is more balanced. Thanks for making this app.
Journey. It’s really good and doesn’t bully you into it but makes you work for it really good for discipline and just good in general for weight loss
Annoying bug. There is a bug where the app always starts the first routine in the list, regardless of which routine is selected. I have 5–6 routines for each gym day. When I select a routine for Day 2, the app instead starts the first routine. I then have to cancel the session and restart it; on the second attempt, the correct routine launches.
unreasonable paywalls. insane paywalls just to use the app normally, your code is not worth that much
Awesome helped me start. Great app
This app is so tuff. I really like this app makes it more enjoyable and easy to keep track of my progress really tuff app
Genuinely a waste of time. Seemed like an interesting concept, very very clearly made to be a waste of time doing nothing but trying to sell you on coaching and getting addicted to the app. Imagine Duolingo but 5 times worse in how it aggressively wants to take over your Home Screen and notifications.
Great app. Love this app it really helps me achieve my goals fast and it super simple
This is pretty sweet. 😤😤
Very useful and fun. Love this app it’s been super helpful and satisfying to track my workouts. Notes to the developers : I think it would be a really great addition to add the different parts of certain muscles to the body graph section ( heads of bicep / Tricep ) the same way you guys did with the shoulders as it would be really informative and useful.
They need a place were it does not delete the workout you made. I spent the last 30 minutes on a workout and it just deleted all my work
$$$. Very good with a great concept and good system but way too expensive (100 a year) atleast do ranking system free and it will already be way better
109 yearly charge. Nice free trial for a week then auto 100bucks a year cool idea but I’m not doing that
Garbage paywall. Not worth your time
The free option is not bad. Honestly, I find a lot of apps that have a free version absolutely horrible, especially when it comes to working out, but the free version on this app is actually quite good so good that I might actually consider paying the subscription soon just to see how good the actual app is
AI. Hopefully we see a update where u can type ur meal into an AI support bot to add it instead of the endless scrolling
Useless. Too many stupid questions before showing the app
Cost money. Really good app but it’s just money to use
Very nice app, but at first it is complicated to understand. Nice app
Need A Way to Edit Machines that aren’t in my Gym. It was my first time in the Gym so i didn’t know what machine to choose and i left all the machines, after a week of going to the Gym i noticed a machine that isnt in the gym but im supposed to do that exercise.
Super cool. I want this inside of me
Best workout app I’ve used. I’ve shuffled between 10 different workout apps…for a FREE Version , this one is packed with so many features and makes tracking workouts genuinely fun…definitely don’t need the paid version , but it’s very good for advanced trainers
Apple Watch. I really enjoy this app and it genuinely makes me feel more motivated but I’d like this app way more if it were Apple Watch compatible, unless I’m missing something? Safari said it was but nothing came up on my watch when I tried. My iPhone definitely has enough updates to support it, advice or feedback would be so helpful thank you!!
Very beginner friendly. This is very fun and it reminds of duolingo in a way
Tres satisfait. Ca m’aide a bien travaillier et a faire des muscles plus facilement en peu de temps!!!
Money. The charged be the yearly without even asking me, I had the 7 day free trial on and it just didn’t even tell me it ended and went straight to using my money. Give me my money back.
Trial scam. Didnt send an email for when I had to cancel the trial and they charged me 18$. I would like to get my money back.
Tanner. First free one of these ever really makes working out feel better and more like a game
Fun. Let’s you customize a workout plans and feels fun to do even when unmotivated!👍
Too expensive. Cant use without paying an expensive subscription. Wouldn’t recommend
Helped out. I was so skinny before like 110 pounds now am 130 and lifting weights I never thought I could do all thanks to help of the calories counter and the ranking system thank you so much for making this app.
Love it. I found this app on Instagram and I honestly thought it was gonna be like all the others and have to pay to use everything. But I’m very pleasantly surprised at how many functions you get with the free version ! I love it and it’s helped me keep track of my gym progress !
Trash. Trash
Too Expensive for Full Access. Interesting concept, way too expensive.
Scam. Made me pay twice for the subscription

Best Workout App!!!. This app is AMAZING!!! It tracks your exercises and also ranks your muscles that you have worked out. I am so glad that I was able to use this app to create a routine so that it can help me on my weight loss journey. I have used this app about a week now and I lost 2 pounds! Working out on my own never worked as well as this app. Thank you Liftoff for helping me lose weight and get fit.
Terrible Food/workout Database. I use this app as a macro + fitness tracker and they have the worst food and workout data base. Sometimes I’m out with friends or coworkers and I don’t take out my phone to take a snapshot so I have to log it later. When you try to search for some foods… it’s just a horrible type of search engine/data base like I can explain. It’s almost impossible to search for the food unless you take a snapshot or scan the barcode Same thing with workouts, this app doesn’t have all the workouts listed so I can’t track them efficiently
Amazing Workout App. I have been loving this app over the past few days, that little elephant has helped me lose weight. I love the ranking system, but some things just don’t add up, for my category more than half of my workout stats are silver, but my average rank is bronze I. One bug I found was with some workouts like the assisted dips for example just won’t show my rank no matter how much I do them. But overall one of my favorite apps.
Also, it seems that workouts are more rewarded off of how much weight you are moving versus the reps of the exercise, thank you
Honestly best app I’ve used. I never write reviews, but this app really did change my life. I was never able to be consistent at the gym, but seeing my ranks and actual progress in the app made me addicted to this app. Unironically I would look forward to my gym sessions now because I think of how much LP I’m gonna get this workout. Props to the devs that actually made gaming into something impactful in real life
great if ur struggling with consistency. I like this app and it has helped me stay consistent in the gym by always wanting to achieve that next rank. I will say the recommended workouts arent the best and I would stick to your own split. i can find the scanning of food to be inaccurate sometimes but its still good to give a rough estimate! need to implement better ways to track macros when things dont have a barcode other than that great app!
Community. I love this app. I got my friends and family to join even though we’re all on different paths with our fitness journeys and we were still able to compete with each other and keep each other accountable throughout the whole process thanks to this app everyone in my family and friend group are reaching their goals, faster, and more efficiently.
Workouts could be better organized. I don’t know how I feel about it. If you swap times it throws leg exercises into a back/arms day. Which doesn’t make any sense. If you’re doing a 6 day routine leg days are back to back which doesn’t give any time for rest in between leg days. It almost feels as if they took other workout app platforms like Fitbod or Gravl and mashed in with Ladder and added a cartoon elephant with it. I am though impressed with the macros counter that other apps don’t have.
Actually free work out app!. Now most work out apps are like “oh you gotta get this subscription to do this” and as a teenage boy, I don’t got that kinda money. But I saw this off instagram and gave it a shot. Yes there are in app purchases but you don’t need them to get a full daily AI generated work out and all your ranking and stuff. I’m a gamer so personally I love the rank system. This app is actually great.
PLEASE, install this if you want to get serious about working out 🙏
App is great but glitchy sometimes. The app itself is better than any other workout app I've tried, even without the subscription, but I've noticed lately that it's been freezing up and causing my phone to freak out sometimes while I have an active workout going in the app. It also starts random workout routines instead of the one I'm trying to start. If they get this fixed it would be a 5 star no doubt.
Good up up to a point. So I first thought this app was a well integrated program well suited for the Apple health suite programs. Able to interface and sync between Apple health and Apple fitness. Thus closing your Apple fitness rings as your still engaging in the liftoff app. However, I found that while there is some sync capabilities. It doesn’t sync all the data between the the apps. Example, the calorie info doesn’t carry over to health app nor does any of the workout info. Lastly, the cost is a little high, However, if it did. Have the full sync capability it wouldn’t be that big of a deal.
Update. Finally heard from support. Issue isn’t fixed yet but the app itself is really awesome. I find myself more motivated to work out due to the app. Some functions not working hence the need to contact support. One thing I would change is the calorie tracker. I would like to see it go beyond zero or at least a function where we can calculate how much over the limit we went if we do.
Superb! Just 2 things ❤️. I love this app and use it on a daily, it’s amazing. Just 2 things though for me to put 5 stars. If someone starts a workout with a specific exercise & ends their workout with the same exercise, you can’t log them separately it does not allow duplicate exercises in the same workout. Also an option for people who do super sets would be awesome! Besides that, this app is amazing with keeping consistency, making it easier to track reps/sets & adjustable timers for individual workouts if one wants. Really amazing :)
Without this app I wouldn’t be locked in. This app has helped me so much at first I saw it and didn’t think much of it until I started using it and it was so good I made a full day schedule for me to become better and included working out through this app. I used to have to go and search for some excersises and it would take so long like I wouldn’t even know if it is useful or not. But this app is actually so useful no joke. Btw I’m not a bot
One major flaw but otherwise a great app. My only issue is that I’m not able to find a way to input yesterday’s workout into the app. I sometimes work out at night and forget to start my workout and when the clock passes midnight I’m not able to input the workout for the previous day, causing me to lose my streak. It would be great if you could add workouts only for 1 day before the current day!
Great App. Favorite I’ve found but does have some annoyances. If I could ask for anything it would be for a barbell dumbbell weight cap. I have a home gym and my weights only go up so high. It’s frustrating having to change the weights only the auto generated workouts for every set. If it knew my max weight and could replace the exercise/variation when I hit the weight max it would be great
Great motivator.
One small change. The app is great overall not trying to say anything against that, but when i use the recovered muscles option I would love it if I could select the workouts that I DONT want it to suggest. This way it won’t spam me every single day with that exercise. Just a bit more depth into that would be great considering the specified muscles option is there already just make it a subcategory under the recovered muscles option.
Solid app does what it’s meant to. This app was a bit intimidating to start with (quests, objectives, ranks, streaks, friends, etc.) but each aspect is meant to help you stay motivated working out. It’s not for everyone, specifically those who already have set routines and goals and know how to work towards them, but for anyone looking for guidelines and help getting started and tracking their improvement, I’d recommend.
Consistency > Motivation. Been using this app for a week & a half now & I love it. It helps me stay consistent with working out & my goal. Helps me feel organized in the gym & I get more done in less time because of the timers. Looks like they added calorie tracking with the new update & I think that is the cherry on top! I’ve recommended this app to a handful of my friends already & it helps us hold each other accountable because we can see each other on there.
Amazing!. A lot of other workout apps can give you a routine and give you some insight on your workouts if you pay an insane amount of money. As a college student however this app is amazing for giving me tips and a workout routine without having to pay for it is really useful. Now there are ofc MORE tools you can get by paying but alas, I don’t for financial reasons. Overall good app, would refer a friend!
Actually helps stay on track.. I love this app. It actually helps me stay motivated with the ranks and tiers. I’ve never been healthier. This has helped me get the craziest glow up. People I haven’t seen in 6 months don’t even recognize me anymore! Because I’m looking amazing. I’m no longer super insecure about my body and feel better about myself in general! Highly recommend if looking to actually get into shape and not just get motivated for a weeks or two.
Great but could use a little work. It’s a great app has many different ways to stay in the game even if u don’t have access to a gym only thing I wish it had was a way to track supplements like it does food. If u take vitamins preworkout anything like that u can’t tract the added nutritionals in them. Protein shakes it will recognize but not vitamins and such off of the label scanner
Smoothness is Gone. Look the app is great, I love being able to see everything I’ve done, my ability to progressively overload is great, but the nice smooth feeling of how the entire app worked is just gone. Everything takes 5-10 seconds to load, which usually isn’t an issue but in the middle of working out it’s a pain. The app just isn’t what it was when I downloaded it in March 2025, and I think I’ll be moving to paper and pen to track lifts since this app has only declined in quality.
Food. The food section needs some work but besides that, this app is wonderful, whenever you look food up, its super iffy and doesnt have brand names so you cant tell the right thing, and when your in the “ALL” category, you cant even see every food selection, it cuts you off, wonderful app but fix the food section
Amazing Capabilities. I usually don’t leave reviews but I think this is the best gym app I’ve ever had. With it being able to be completely free and track my gym routines and previous set amounts on different workouts, it’s amazing. As of when I’m making this review, I do wonder why they haven’t updated their logo because it still has a G and B from their original name “GymBros”.
Easy to learn. I am a teenager (baseball player) who has had a fair share of workout experiences, whether it be doing it on my own, strength training with my friend, or doing it at a hotel on a trip. Although, I never had a set plan, so I ended up just doing a couple sit ups and push ups to get it over with. But when I downloaded this app I found it helpful at figuring out what I can do to help what I needed to work on.
Love the app… but. The app is great for tracking lifts over time and the rank system is a good idea. However, there is no honesty to it and there are 17 year olds that would be holding every single world record but the app just lets it be. Should be some sort of moderation for people clearly lying. The top ranked users are way beyond what is humanly possible and it should be obvious to the developers. Which will in turn make actually impressive lifts rank way lower than they should. It’s a nitpick but still annoying
YMMV
Great app. This app is amazing for people who want to track their journey getting healthier, looking better, and feeling better. It allows you to time your workouts , log your weight , and keep track of your PRs. 10/10 would recommend, also you can add your friends on this app so if you are a person like seems competition to keep you motivated this is the right app for you.
More ranks. Love the app its super motivating to see my rank go up, but two of my favorite workouts are TRX Bicep Curls and Hand Grippers, which aren’t programed into the ranking system. There are so many more workouts that aren’t able to be ranked, I’m sure this has affected other people as well. Also add menu items from fast food places or at least when I look up pizza don’t give me the most niche, nasty pizza ever. Great app just needs a few tweaks to be perfect.
Solid app for all in one fitness. Good weight tracking. Good form videos. Solid water and calorie tracking. Has any useful graphing or stats hidden behind a paywall subscription. No option to just buy once. Apps like this don’t require a team of 3000 people working day and night - there are no new features being added just ‘bug fixes’ (ok). Makes no sense other than billing people for nonsense.
Wow. This is the best workout ever ever ever used. I’m particularly competitive so having competitive workouts and a ranking system to keep me on track and in line has helped them mentally I’ve gotten friends on it. I’ve got a community that I’m building that I have gotten on it and because of it I am people I know getting healthier and so it’s only half I’ve ever rated let alone rated five stars it’s genuinely incredible.
Love. I love this app!!!!!! Perfect for workout tracking and it helps me feel more confident at the gym because I always have an example of how to do each workout. My suggestion has to do with the calorie counter which is not why I have the app—I would like to be able to add my own amount of calories instead of having to search for a food. Like if I could just say “560 calories” and input my own macros that would be fine. But thank you for the app it’s great 👍
Good app. This is a great app for tracking exercises and looking at others progress. I give it three stars because the updated exercise tab is horrible. It was perfect before but now yall ruined it. Before I was able to view all my previous exercises from most attempted to least. Now it’s organized by different muscle groups and all my saved exercises are scattered everywhere. The only way to see all my previous saved exercises is if I’m live doing a workout.
Best gym app. This app is completely free and when I say its the best its the best. It generates workouts for you makes you post things making it fun looking at your progress and others posts as well it has all kinds of workouts with examples it has literally EVERYTHING you could think of calories count everything. Best I hope it stays like this and not become for money like other apps
Good but has annoying bugs. I’ve been using the app to track my workouts for a few months and am really enjoying it overall. However there is an annoying bug that adds previous completed exercises to new workouts despite what is selected for my workouts. Even when I select to start a blank workout, there will be 3-4 exercises from previous workouts already added and marked green. It’s very annoying and I have to exit the workout and create a new one again for them to disappear.
I’ve always preferred to use a notebook to keep track of my workouts. My brother put me on to this app and it’s great. This feels like one of the only apps that the developer actually uses. Every time I think a feature would be convenient, I go and look for it and there it is. They’ve thought of almost everything. So easy to use as well
Great app but….
Great way to gamify the gym grind. I love to play competitive video games like League, so when I got into working out, this app was a no-brainer. Does exactly what it says with no frills. Two features I’d like to see added are a true monthly subscription and the ability to filter body graphs by recent workouts. I lost 30 pounds and I tracked workouts incorrectly early on in my journey, so having to go back and delete workouts to get a more “accurate” assessment can be annoying.
I am on day 3 I and it’s helped so much. I don’t have the means to buy any equipment at the moment, and having this app shown me different personal workouts around my house that I can do without equipment. I also love the grading of each muscle, each time I go up a rank it feels like a major accomplishment. I love the app and think many others would to.
Best app ever. It just helps you so much planning any type of workout, it helps me a lot planning my track days and weightroom days so I can not have to think about the schedule for what I wanna do all day and so I don’t have to use the notes app. As well as it helps with just being able to click start on a new workout if you get random motivation but not ideas of what to do. 10/10 app
Stat padding. Great app use it every workout. Love to see my progress with a ranking, a competition vs myself. However, many of the cable workouts are different from gym to gym. With single pulley systems and double pulley systems weight distribution differs significantly. I know I’m strong average rank on free weight exercises are titan to Olympian but somehow my cable workouts are such lower ranks. And I see people post on discovery doing crazy weight on cables then like 135 on bench for a top set. They should make categories for equipment brands so the rankings would be more consistent.
Exactly what you need!. This app is exactly what you need. It picks out the exercises. It gives you some options that allows you to build it measures tracks. There’s a reward system that I didn’t think I would use or enjoy, but I do I like the flexibility and the tracking and the price is phenomenal for the average person or a little beyond. It’s perfectnot complicated at all.
